Staff are friendly!! The movie theatre is always reaching out to the community. They put on extended showings if the community asks, put on extra matinees, give out free movie tickets and supports almost all fundraisers for our community. What can you say other than this is a great business that is constantly updating to better serve it's community!!

The golden cinema is a great place to watch movies. While the seating is basic compared to cities, they are well priced, especially when including the popcorn, etc. Movie selection is comparable to many small towns.

Nice little theater in Golden. Wish they enforced mask mandates. A couple sitting couple of rows ahead of us were not wearing masks and the lady was coughing. Quite callous of the couple but a stricter imposition will make the other patrons feel much safer.

This little cinema is unreal, $11 on Tues for Movie, Popcorn, & Pop. Can't beat that. Great sound as well, wish Cineplex could find the volume knob like Kicking Horse.

Comfortable seating, decent sound and screen, unhealthy snacks by the gallon. What more could you want from your local cinema? They also sell ice cream, sell and rent DVD's. Evening shows generally seem to start at 7pm, tickets are ten bucks even for adults. Movies seem to be in rotation for just a few weeks at a time, sonmove fast I'd you want to see something!

Great seats. Good amount of room between rows. Clerks were very friendly! Good sound, good treat selection and the popcorn had just the right amount of butter. Parking was a breeze (granted it was a Thursday evening). Will come again if we stay in Golden again!

For the size of the town this cinema is very good, one star off for extortionate snack prices though it is a cinema so it's part and parcel of the industry at this point

family run business with exceptional customer service. The place is clean & organized in the rental area. good pricing on rentals & deals. They try their best to bring in top movies. The movie theater has a fair bit of seating area with enough room between rows. This has always been clean when walking into the theater area. has a fair bit of candy selection & d dutchmen ice cream.

One of my favorite places in town. Really well managed for a small theater and definitely plays as good of a balance as possible on what movies are played. Stewart also bring in some cool movies mid week or for single showing sometimes which is also awesome. I also love their snacks, particularly the little bags of candies and of course the popcorn.

I love a small town theatres! The service here is superb and it was great to chat with the owner about release dates and how it all works. If you are in town and want to see a movie this is the place. You will find it clean and well run. Bring the kids they will love it too.

Recently added a 2nd screen, upgraded seats n sound etc. For a small town theatre - this one's punching well above it's weight. If you're interested in the movie that's showing you will not be disappointed with the rest. Super friendly too.
