The VIP experience is amazing here and well priced admission. The cost of drinks here are on the high side which is why I’m giving a 4/5 but other than that the rest is great. The seats are a lot comfier in VIP compared to the blue ones in the regular theatres here & the little pull out table is a nice feature. The servers were also all very kind & accommodating. I also like how the VIP theatre is a little smaller than the regular ones, which makes any seat great for viewing (in general admission if you sit too close it can be annoying with the screen).

This review speaks specifically to the VIP portion of service. I believe this is a get idea. No loud children, ample leg and head room, reclining seats, etc. My favorite part of this style of movie going experience is that you can purchase your seat ahead of time. No more waiting in line in hopes of a good seat. All of this for a fair price. At this point I would have a hard time going back to a more traditional movie theater.

I purchased a VIP ticket to see what all the excitement was about. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I was instructed that we would have a half hour before the movie to order from the menu in the VIP theater and enjoy ourselves before the show. The theater was not cleaned and opened until 10 minutes before our show, which felt like a waste of my time as we arrived early to get our seats, order, and eat. The food we eventually ordered was cold and the popcorn was stale unfortunately. The facilities are very high scale but the experience was not, which is unfortunate because of how well this location is outfitted. For that reason, I give 2/5 stars.

I love this theatre, it's new and all the screens, seats and everything are modern and comfortable. If your are over 19 the VIP is a must, giant seats, bar before/after and food catered to your seats!

This theatre has two sides to it. You have the normal everyday theatre set up you'd find at Cineplex. On the other side you have the more adult oriented VIP theatre which has a bar little restaurant and within the vip theatres you'll find electric recliners that are super comfy and have a usb port right below the recliner switch to charge your phone. Just like a restaurant you have food and drinks at your seat. One of the best theatre experiences I have had here.

Always a wonderful experience when we visit this place. It’s not just VIP cinemas that makes us visit this place often but the great dining experience! Amazing “fish-bowl” cocktails, awesome food options and very welcoming staff. If you are not a movie fan, then just go for a dine-in, I am sure you would like it! Heads up: 19+ age !!!

Saw a regular ticketed show (not VIP or 3D) and theatre is as expected. We had a lot of people/kids getting up and down during the movie and you do need to swing your legs out of the way for them at this theatre. I do prefer the more spacious aisles at the Cambridge location for regular movies. The price of concession treats still blows my mind for all theatres.

VIP was awesome. Their covid protection procedures made me feel safe without being too restrictive. Masks on everywhere but once you were in your socially distant disinfected seat, masks off to enjoy the movie made it really comfortable.

We did the VIP most recently but we have been here multiple times both VIP and non-VIP. Overall, this location is good. Surprising because it is cineplex. People working there are nice. Unlike most cineplex locations, it seems like the employees were not consistently enduring unending torture! The only issue we had is we did not understand the VIP ordering system. I wish there was more instruction (e.g. how do we get the attention of the person taking orders? Where do we give in our voucher purchases with ticket?). Thank you team!

VIP theaters are the best way to see a movie. Worth the extra cost to me to get amazing seats with less crowds and no children. Drinks and great food are expensive but add a lot to the experience. We plan to see a vip movie at least once a year.

We sat in the VIP theater for Shazam. You have a recliner type chair and the leg room is excellent. Full waiter service before the movie. You can even order a drink. The lounge serves full meals. As with any theatre, snacks and drinks are expensive,($4,50 for a bottle of water).

I’ve been in many theaters around Canada and the States, same prices but this one it’s not comfortable as the previous I went to. Chairs are small and no enough space for your legs, especially for the big tall guys!

This was our first time attending the new VIP theatre and I really enjoyed the VIP section however, the main concession area was more than a let down. I found the staff at the concession rude and very unfriendly. We went to ask the staff member taking tickets at the main theatre stand where we go to find our VIP theatre and when we approached him he was busy on his cell phone. He ignored us for a beat, tossed his phone down and before I had even finished asking, picked it up again to finish what he was doing. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and very rude. Thankfully once inside the VIP section the staff was more than wonderful, friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend the VIP service it's worth the money and it's a great experience but I will probably avoid the rest of the theatre from now on. It's a pity how that reflected on the experience as a whole, had that not happened I'd have given this 5 stars.

Went to the VIP for my Birthday. Not bad the chairs were very comfy. Leather wide seats that electronically recline. Food was okay but for the money spend I rather eat somewhere else. Drinks were awesome though. Would do again for special movie or occasion.

I enjoyed the experience. I had cineplex gift cards cost just under 50 for 2 seats. The restaurant is average priced, not like concession. I uploaded some menus with prices attached. The price is the number next to the title I (to the right) almost didn't notice it. You get assigned seating and I saw rogue one. The sound system is really great, makes me really want to watch a movie with tons of explosions. My only complaint is that i used the bathroom (womens) and there was no toilet paper in the stall and there was no backup roll. I advised staff who didn't seem to notice my frustration. I was rushing because it was during the movie. So Im just glad i only went pee. The seats were nice but do not recline fully. I did find that the lumbar cushion was a bit too puffy. I am short person so a person who is taller may have a different experience.

Disgusting theaters when in vip area. Floors looked clean until you looked under the seats in front of you. Floor had broken glass and old food on it. My seat had a plastic knife in the side of it that was used. I only found it once it stabbed me in my side. Went to get a refill of my drink and they charged full price for them. 6$ each for a small coke. Had spinach dip and the middle and bottom of the spinach dip was ice cold almost frozen. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Popcorn is ALWAYS cold, and if you ask for fresh popcorn it's just semi cold. Cleanliness is horrible, where you get the straws etc clearly haven't been cleaned in months, so Dusty. I hear Cineplex is being bought out, until that is complete and hopefully new management, I will be going to Landmark.

Best movie theatre I have been to. The seats are so comfortable and they are adjustable! I haven’t been in the VIP section yet but the normal section has the best movie theatre seats ever. Will always come here.

I'm sure this must be a new change that is gradually happening at all of the Cineplex locations, but the seats here are the most comfortable of any cinema I've been in. The arms are movable, there is electric reclining, and they're just exceptionally soft. These aren't even the seats in the VIP theatres. This is just the standard seating and it's excellent. Unfortunately, like all Cineplex theatres, popcorn or any of their concessions for that matter are extremely overpriced. This definitely helps with the waistline, but it seems like a slap in the face when your popcorn and drink cost more than your movie ticket. A small gripe, and one that I'm sure won't change with Cineplex's virtual monopoly in Canadian cinema. ????????????

Of course, VIP experience costs more on food, movie but you can enjoy it all with your loved ones, relaxing & chilling. Just give it a try, you will believe it!!

It can be a little pricey but if you don't go all the time it's a great night out. Spoil yourselves a little by having seat service bring you beer and or dinner food before your movie right to your lazy boy style seating. I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the theatre last time. You guys can do a lot better. As for food, its all pretty good except I do not recommend putting seasoning salt on perogies, ever. this is something that you guys need to stop doing. It's horrible. What are you guys thinking??

The VIP experience was awesome! Love the power reclining seats, it's like you're traveling business class on an airplane. The seat service for food and drink is great too. Also tried a UltraAVX 3D movie, that cinema has reserved seating too and comfortable seats also with power recline! The staff is friendly and helpful, the building itself is new, clean and looks fancy.

The theatres are excellent - big comfortable and reclining seats. Also the VIP side is a great experience. The 3 stars is because of the concessions on the regular (not VIP) side of the theatre. We've been to this theatre on multiple occasions and it's normal for there to be several attendants standing around socializing even with big lines, extremely slow service, and overall very poor food quality. It has consistently resulted in a poor experience. We will be going to the other theatre in the area.

This was the first time I’ve been to the VIP cinemas. I went for The Avengers and it was a great experience. The reclining chairs are amazingly comfortable and far enough apart that you never have to worry about anyone kicking the back of your seat. Perfect for a 3+ hour movie. There are menus at every seat and the wait staff is courteous and helpful. Full bar menu, appetizers and full meals are available, as well as the traditional movie offerings of candy and popcorn. Would definitely go again. Pictured is one of the featured fishbowls (make sure you share with a friend) and the deep fried pickle spears.

Very Nice idea but not very clean... and if your going on a date night the two-seater reclining chairs Is not the most comfortable the armrest in the middle gets in the way of cuddling. Price is a little expensive $50 for two people better to go on a Wednesday where you can get a three-course meal for $10 more including 2 tickets.

Fast service, clean theatres. We like the way it's set up. The chairs recline which is lovely, and some of them have the ability to move the arm rest so you can snuggle with your date which is awesome! Only struggle is, you can't really tell which seats are which in the dark, so you run the risk of picking the wrong two. They also don't have a foot rest which is unfortunate. But love the upgrades either way!

Very comfortable chairs, clean, great for watching movies! VIP is very nice. Took off one star because they raised their VIP hump day deal to $79 from $49. Used to be 2 tix, 2 entrees. Now, 1 app, 2 entrees, and a dessert... Would be nice to be given the option for a smaller meal.

It's always clean and the staff are friendly. The only thing that took one star away is on cineplex as a company. Why did the combos with the scene points change? It already is pretty expensive to go to the movies so why change? It was perfect the way it was.

Prices are insane. Sound that night was awful. Bar upstairs had slow, slow, staff we were almost late for our movie never mind the preshow. Not worth the money gonna stick to our regular theatre. Our second time here and the concept is good but the prices dont match. Other theatres are now getting better seating.

The normal cinema is médiocre, sometimes the chairs dont work and you cant tuck your legs under. The VIP is good but they don't offer you popcorn.... However the VIP washrooms are first rate!

Awesome experience. Friendly staff. Comfortable recliner style theatre seats. Had a bar and several table tops and booths. Servers in the movie theatre to take orders and bring it to you 30 minutes before showtime. I'll never watch a movie any other way.

My first VIP experience. Theatre is very nice, great sound system, no possibility of an obstructed view, seating comfort top notch. Didn't order extensively from the to-your-seat delivery menu but it was pretty diverse and seems like there are drinks you may order that aren't on the list. (scotch for example) The specialty coffee I ordered was awful!! Tasted like lukewarm dishwater with maybe a whiff of alcohol added. (D minus) I'd suggest that you go for the movie, get food and drinks elsewhere. Note that this is Adults Only theatre experience. Plan to take the kids to a regular screening.

We come here for the VIP cinema. Pricey, but worth it. Lounge chairs each have their own table. Pre-movie table service for food (meals as well as the regular cinema snacks) and beverages (including alcohol). 3D movies. Smaller, adult-only audience (quieter). Choose your seating in advance. Restaurant with real food (compared to concession counter). What's not to like?

I was pretty bummed with my experience in VIP last night. The food we ordered before the movie took longer than expected. The movie had started and the theatre was pitch dark by the time it came out. The food was also cold, which was dissapointing. Wasn't worth it for the price that's for sure. Loved the seats so I'll definitely buy VIP tickets again, but no more food ordering for me.

This theatre is awesome. My wife and I love going to the VIP, and we won’t see a movie any other way now. We are able to use Scene points to pay for our tickets, and our food in the VIP section. AND they are licensed to sell alcohol in the VIP section. The restaurant in the VIP is reasonably priced and I’ve enjoyed all of the food I have had there. I like that they will deliver food to your seat and you feel catered to. The seats are leather recliners and you pre select your seat so you don’t have to go early (but you will want to just to order and enjoy good food/drink!). The only con I have to say is that the seats are almost too comfy and you might drift off to sleep after eating a delicious meal!

This theater is very comfortable, that's for sure. The screen is pretty good, and the sound is great. So for the movie experience, that's about all you can ask. The bad parts are: The service. When you're in the theater, there are a ton of people inside waiting to take an order. That's great and all, but if you want to eat in the lounge, expect it to take a while. The service is pathetically slow. The ambient sound. Having people spaced out a bit certainly helps having to hear a bunch of people talking about the movie, but the dishes and cutlery create new issues. Last visit, I had a guy beside me with absolutely zero eating manners. Cutlery clanking, and lips smacking every 5 seconds until he finished his meal, and then he moved on to popcorn. The guy belonged in a zoo (but I suppose that isn't the theater's fault). Overall, it's still the best theater in my area, but I think that has more to do with how crappy theaters are these days.

Love the VIP Theatre! It's a great date night treat - drinks and food right to your seat. It has an exclusive feeling with a very welcoming atmosphere! It's definitely an investment at around $25/ticket, but worth it for those over-the-top cinematic movies you're looking forward to!

The VIP part of the theatre is what I choose to go to everytime I visit. It's very clean and well kept, the staff is attentive and friendly, and it's a really wonderful movie watching experience. Be warned though as it's not easy on the wallet, and the prices don't slow down once you get in the door. Overall, even though overpriced I think it's worth it to have a good night out and feel very comfortable like it's a home theatre.

I love coming to Cineplex VIP- the experience is . The only thing I found not-so-great was that when we came at 9:30 for our 9:45 movie, we were told there is already in seat service- there was no one there. We went to the bar to get a drink but found ourselves at the very edge with staff sprawled with napkins- both open and folded, a bin of cutlery, and other staff preoccupying the bar tender (even after we had the opportunity to order our drinks). I believe in enjoying the people you work with but not when it effects the experience of the customers- definitely felt far from VIP. To boot, once we went into the theater, there was finally someone there but she asked while we were going in the theatre if we're good since we had full drinks in our hand. We told her we'd like to order food and she asked what- we were still in the tunnel to enter the theatre and the whole theatre was empty. We weren't sure so we scurried to our seats to grab a menu only to have her huffing and puffing to come up to our seat level. We quickly ordered the first few things since she made it seem there was some urgency.. only to sit and watch the pre-movie quizes .. this was our experience last night. Typically, we go to an earlier show time and everything is excellent. My tip to consumers: don't go to the late viewings at this theatre since, from our experience, you feel more like an inconvenience than a VIP customer. To the staff: please be aware of your surroundings and what you are displaying for your patrons. Having napkins sprawled across the bar while patrons are entering and taking over the "wood" of the bar leaving no space for customers, isn't good for business.

This was my first time here we went to the 9:45am it was nice to see an earlier show. The staff was present but not very friendly or welcoming just kind of stood there waiting for an order. It was very clean the popcorn was fresh. The seats are very comfortable. The bass was very loud in the room beside us which kind of sucked for some parts of our movie also the sound was very loud ( too loud) i'm guess because there was only 5 of us in there most likely when it is full it will be fine

It has transformed the movie going experience for me. I have been going out to the cinema more often now because of the VIP experience. I won’t go back to regular theatres any more. The comfort and the convenience are exceptional, and I can enjoy the movie more without distractions. The best movie going experience since the closure of the University Theatre in Toronto in the 1980s. Totally worth the extra few dollars a ticket.

The VIP side of the theatre is the main attraction to this location for my wife and I and is always a good date night option. The comfort of the recliners and at-seat service for snacks and food is great. Always look forward to visiting and our last visit was a Sunday afternoon date and we had the theatre to ourselves, a rare treat for sure.

Vip is very nice, delivery of items to your seat is alao nice. The seats are comfy and slide back but the only drawback is the cost of the food, but the food I have had was tasty. But this is an upscale outing so you should expect to pay more. Great place for a date.

Clean theatre. Staff are standard and polite. Prices tend to reflect the next level of theatre quality. Seats are exceedingly comfortable (even when not in VIP). Food is the same as any other Cineplex complex. Bathrooms were a nice step up. Parking is adequate but is shared with Starbucks and Chapters.

Beautiful place with nice staff. But the seats in the ordinary theatres are too big. They could be very comfortable if you could adjust the recliner (same as VIP section) but they look alike without the reclining feature and keep your legs hanging. It is kind of painful after a while

What’s the point of buying a VIP ticket if they don’t come and take your order? I arrived half an hour early to my movie, they took everyone else’s order in the theater except mine. I told them about it when I had to leave the trailers to go order food and they didn’t care.

The best Cinema of the Waterloo region. I don't know the exact screens number but there are many screens. The 3D quality is so good as well as sound quality is pretty decent. Seats are very comfortable.

I love love love going to the VIP cinema with my husband, they are like something so private for couple, you have a chance to sit on a big nice comfy sofa and they separate the sit so that you actually have space between the other couples but so close to your love one! So romantic! And the room is not big like the regular cinema just a warm small room with just few couples sofa which made it’s so unique. Moreover you and ur love one can enjoyed dinner or a late night meal while watching the movie which makes the price of the VIP ticket more worth it!

Ive only been to this theater once but the first impression was out standing! The electric leather recliners are super comfortable and there is ample arm and leg space. Next time there will be in the VIP lounge with a cold beer ????

Since your managers don't reply and your head office reads messages and doesn't respond...I'm resorting to Google. You need to start offering steel straws for sale. If you are going to charge $50 for popcorn and drinks...and only offer paper straws that disintegrate...that's insane. So gross. You need to at least give customers another option. I already know people who bring in their own outside drinks for this reason.

Service was horrible. VIP never got served or asked if I was taken care of which resulted in having to go to the concession and missing the beginning of the movie. Waiting over 5 minutes just for someone to take our tickets. Main lobby was disgusting and dirty. Seats were okay. Freezing. Not sure why AC is cranked at 11pm.

I absolutely ADORE the pulled pork pizza! Has got to be the best pizza around. The chairs have special cushioning that pushes the comfort to the next level. Popcorn is always warm and soggy with loads of Canadian butter. I was concerned they would have issues with me bringing in my Herschel backpack but luckily they said it was fine, made it easy to sneak in loads of candy and beer.

the overall experience did not change, but changing my 4 star to 2 star due to the manager/ assistant manager of the place. The place has a new rule of not bringing in a bag into the theater and its understandable. But this should not be addressed to us after standing in line, showed the ticket and were all ready to enter the cinema. So I had to leave my friends, go downstairs and stand in another line, give it to the coat check and almost missed the starting of the show. Also to add, we had shown an expired ticket by mistake and they let us in, which shows the incompetence of the staff as well.

Sunday Apr 22, 2018 was our second time to the Cineplex VIP location on Fairview Rd. in Kitchener. There won't be a third. There were 4 wait staff who appeared to be far more interested in socializing with the 3 people sitting at the bar than waiting on any of the customers sitting at tables. We gave up waiting and moved to the bar to get service. I indicated to a couple that arrived after us that if they wanted service, they should do the same. All but one staff member retreated to the kitchen to throw pies into each others faces (yes, we watched this), which of course slowed the service down even more. Finally got our drinks and made the mistake of buying stale popcorn. Certainly not worth what you are paying. The only good part of the experience was the movie and very comfortable seats. The service was pathetic.

Reclining seats for everyone! The seats alone make this place awesome, but the modern layout makes it even better. I used to think that the movies were getting too expensive but this place makes it worth it. After being here I wouldn't go to any other theatre.

Love the VIP theatre here! The super comfortable seats recline and have foot rests (I've been to a couple VIP cinemas that don't). The in seat service is nice, and there are a lot of choices on the menu. I do find the food prices a bit high though. Would go back again.

And the leg room is good so you don't have to climb over people's legs if you get up.The food looks good and reasonably priced unfortunately we ate before we went but next time I'll definitely be trying the food! I never want to go back to the regular theater!!

This is purely the VIP experience - what a waste! Pay an extra $13 to get access to slow service with cold and subpar bar food. The seats in row AA are absolutely awful; we walked out before the previews ended when we couldn't recognize any of the actors because of the angle. They shouldn't even be allowed to sell the seats! Fortunately, we were able to reschedule our tickets for a different showing with different seats, so hopeful that this can go up a star or two.

Very unhappy with the VIP experience I received today when seeing Thor. The concession severs missed my row for the whole scheduled "concession ordering time." Finally as the message is up on the screen saying that the time for orders is over a girl comes down our row. She comes across asking everyone from seat 1 to 7 if they want anything. I'm in seat 8 and the couple next to me had already got fed up and went and got their order earlier by going out to the concession stand and told the girl that. The girl then skips me and walks back the other way. So I speak up and give a little wave. She turns around goes up a row and asks the people behind me what they want! I'm fed up at this point so I go out to the concession stand to grab some food and no ones there... Five or more minutes past and I'm about to just jump over and grab what I want but decide to go down to the bar but that girl is taking a order and doing her job so cant fault her. Finally a guy comes out of the back to help me. I get my food and head in to the movie just starting, I had missed all the trailer. I'm fuming mad but I'll wait to the end of the movie to speak to someone. Movie ends I go out to speak to someone and of course no one at the concession stand, bar, greeter post in VIP and out of VIP and ticket area has no one also. Decide I don't want to waste anymore of my time waiting there I'll call up and of course I can't get through to a person... I'd really like to be able to speak to a person there but this might be as good as it gets...

Love the VIP here and come fairly often. The food is really good too which you don't expect from a movie theater. Place is super clean and comfortable and staff is nice. There is also an Indigo now there so extra entertainment while you wait for your movie.

My first experience with the VIP theater and it was definitely a good one. The movie tickets were actually a reasonable price and the seats were amazing as was the service by the staff. The food was a little but more than other places but not overly so. All round, a great experience.

The VIP is awesome. I love being able to sit back in my reclining seat and have my concession treats brought to me rather than stand in a long line before the movie. Relaxing and great for a date night. Pricey, so expect to spend at least $100.00 for your night out if you decide to go the VIP route.

I am a huge fan of VIP Cinemas in Kitchener. I went to the VIP in Toronto with a friend that I hyped the experience too and was so let down. The seats in Kitchener are the full deal. The Toronto location had the bad and the seat service etc, but the recliner in Kitchener is far superior. Just saying. Thanks! I have enjoyed my birthday here the last few years. I will be back again next God willing.

The theatre was nice, the only gripe I have is that the washrooms were quite dirty when I went. This must have been during the cleanup portion in between showtimes. The seats do not recline fully (for standard tickets) like the ones in Cambridge. However, the VIP portion is quite nice! Drinks are delicious (try their gin cocktail) food is quite good and the seats are phenomenal.

This is a relatively new Cineplex Movie theater as of this review. The seats in the theater's are nice, comfy and generally offer a good amount of leg room. The staff are generally nice and friendly. There is a VIP section, which has an age restriction of 19+. The VIP section has even better seating that is larger and allows for comfortable reclining. Among the advantages are availability of adult drinking options and a restraunt that will serve Hot foods made to your order, to Dine in or prior to the movie beginning to have while watching your movie. The food is however priced above average. The ticket prices for the VIP are relatively higher as well, but worth the experience.

I don't attend the movies often, and when I do, I only ever attend the VIP theaters. So my opinions of this location are based solely on that experience. First, the lounge area is spacious and never too crowded. Service is attentive and polite. Inside the theaters, the seats are spacious and comfortable, with a reclining angle that is perfect even for some like me at 6'1". The food selection is adequate, with there being nothing to write home about, with prices that are only slightly inflated compared to the inflation on the price of a popcorn or soft drink. I'd like to see a rotating menu more frequently so that there's something new or exciting to try now and then.

The Newest Cinema in the area. All the seating is comfy. They even have a lift up arm rest so you can cuddle with your honey if you choose to do so in your extra spacious seats with a generous amount of cup holders. Every seat in the house is great, with lots of leg room! The only bad thing I have to say is I don't think the sound is as good as the other cinema in the area. I do enjoy seeing movies here. There are advantages to both theaters, depending on what your doing. This would be my first choice for a date. because you can still hear your date during the movie, if she says something. Of course you get the jacked up price on popcorn and sugar water. They must make a killing on that stuff. But it's to be expected because they are all the same on that.

Able to reserve specific seats ahead of time. Bar plus dining area in waiting section if you want to chill before going to watch the movie. Went to the VIP theatre this past Saturday evening. (3 in my party) We were attending a 7pm showing so decided to go to the lounge at 5:30 to have dinner. Sadly this was a very disappointing experience. After sitting at a table for over 15 minutes without even so much as a server dropping by to say hello I went and grabbed one. Delivery of our drinks was slow to say the least. We ordered food which I was about to cancel because it was taking so long to arrive when it finally came out. The best I can say about the food is that it wasn't cold, but warm. The server apologized for the delays claiming that 2 people called in sick. I found that interesting since the last time I was there it seems some staff called in sick. However I really don't care why my service was terrible. The management needs to get off their butts when staff don't show up and if need be grab an apron and a tray and get busy!! At least once in the theatre things went just fine. I'm not sure I'll bother going there early anymore to have a meal but rather go to some other venue to eat first.

Love the large comfy reclining chairs, lots of leg room. VIP is expensive, but you can pay normal prices for regular screens here and still enjoy nicer seating. When you go VIP you can order alcohol and food to your seats so arrive early as they stop taking orders when previews start (combos are not available). There is no Timeplay at this location.

Last night my husband best friend and I were there watching the captain marvel movie and my best friend went out for a smoke and when he came back in yo finish the movie he was locked out of the VIP and couldn't grab his coat and stuff. He saw 7 staff members and none of them allowed him in and nobody in the VIP section. If we were not there with him.last night he wouldn't of been able to grab his stuff. Why is there no staff in the VIP area till the last show is completely done? And why did 7 employees not allow him in? This is not right and unacceptable. Very disappointed this time visiting!

VIP is amazing its the only reason I come to this theatre. Food is okay I wouldn't say over the top but its alright, they're bar and selections of liquar is quite nice though. I love the spacious reclining seats they have they are super comfy and adjustable. This movie theatre is modern and nice both in its interior and exterior. The only minor complaint I have is the arcade it is the tiniest I have ever seen in my life, literarly. Overall great experience especially the VIP section.

An improvement on the theater experience in every way. You can enter and pick up online tickets easily, or buy on site. Then, up to the next level for all the food and drinks, which they rapidly move through and have a decent selection beyond the usual popcorn and candy. But the key is the theater experience. Lit markers let you easily find your seat in the dimly lit area. The seats are incredible. Vinyl seats with partial recline and convenient cupholders. They are spacious enough for just about any sized guest and if you want to get cozy with someone the arm rest comes up and you have a shared seat. Big bright screens and crisp wonderful surround sound make sure you enjoy the experience from just about any seat. Avoid the front rows because even with recline you'd be dizzy with the screen sizes.

It's hard to go back to regular cinema after going VIP. The chairs are larger, nicer, gives you more armwrest/table room, and reclining ability. The restaurant out front is beautiful and serves good food for reasonable prices. The movie ticket prices are ~$8 on Tuesdays and it's totally worth it. It is also 19+.

I love going to the movies and the fact that I can now go to the VIP theatre and have an alcoholic drink at the same time is the best thing ever! The food is incredible and everything I have tried so far is really good. I absolutely love the mini perogies! In the VIP theatre the seats are incredibly comfortable and they recline for extra relaxation. The best part about going to see a movie in VIP is that you don't have to go to a dinner first then to the movies, you can now order your dinner in the VIP and eat it while watching the movie. I have gone many times to see movies in the VIP section and have never been disappointed by the service, food, drinks or movies. I would definitely recommend people to try it out at least once.

We arrived at the Theater and requested tickets for the regular show, which was shown on Google, and told to use by the automated telephone showtime prompts. We were told the show was only playing in VIP at that time, despite both the phone and the internet showing a "Standard" playing of the movie. We were already there, so we ponied up the difference and saw the movie in the "VIP" section. We ordered food, and it was served to us promptly and, to be honest, it was pretty good - so stars up for that. Things really fell apart in the bathroom, though. There was no toilet paper in 2 of the stalls. The floors were SUPER sticky, and there was NO soap in ANY of the soap dispensers at the sink. To call this "VIP" is like calling a cheeseburger VIP - it's the bare minimum, at best. I don't know if the extra large reclining seats are worth going back.

Leather reclining seats are so comfortable. We knew we could enjoy food and alcohol at our VIP seats. However we did NOT know you had to order at least 15 minutes before the show...and take it in yourself. The mini-burgers and fries were delicious. But..I found it difficult to eat in the dark at the side table. I was worried I'd be dripping on my clothes. I found it over-rated and won't pay the extra again for VIP.. w mo service.

Great experience in vip. Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday it is a lot cheaper. Also you get reserved seating so check online before and buy tickets so you are guranteed a seat. Restaurant has good food options and they bring everything to your seat. Very friendly wait staff as well. The chairs recline!!! It is easy to fall asleep if you are exhausted parents.

Be sure to get there early, as they only take orders before the show Only complaint is that you don't get a receipt. We had a mix up when we came in on opening day and they charged us for the wrong bottle of wine (which to be fair, we initially ordered but they didn't have it) everything was fixed and apologies were given, but it's always nice to be able to double check!

My girlfriend and I went out to watch Frozen 2 and decided to try the VIP experience. We got a there a little early and our server Maja was nothing but kind to us and gave us an amazing VIP experience before our movie even started! Would recommend, definitely going to go again! ????

We went to see Infinity War in the VIP section, great movie btw, and we ordered 30 dollars worth of food and drinks (2 orders of calamari and a ginger ale). After paying, my girlfriend received her order but I didn't, and when I called over a server to ask about it, I was told that it was being made. 15 minutes go by and the movie is about to begin and I once again asked about the second order of calamari and was told the same thing. "It's being made right now." So I patiently waited. After the movie started, and now frustrated, I got up and went to the concession stand to ask about it for a 3rd time. The kind man behind the desk took down my order and my seats for a second time and said it would be on the way. Two and a half hours later, the movie is over. No Calamari. Probably won't go back to that location. We definitely won't be buying VIP tickets from that location again.

Saw Spiderman and the experience sucked. I understand not being able to have food/drink during covid, and having to wear a mask when you're in the building, but I was surprised no seats were "spacer seats" for social distancing, and staff didn't enforce the food rule so the entire row behind us were opening cans of pop and baggies most of the movie. The seats weren't really cleaned either, as there were crumbs and sticky substance on them when we entered the theatre and sat down. Bummer.

I will get to why I gave 4 stars in the end it was made right! My friend had a horrible experience the other day, she is mask exempt and her son suffers from sever panic attacks. He wanted to go on a mom and son date in order to get out and to feel better about life and do something they use to do together. She was refused service because she is exempt and that they did not care and when she asked fore refund they would not give it to her without a mask as well. She felt humiliated, intimidated and discriminated against. However she contacted head office and the women there apologized and said she will be speaking to staff and making sure her staff know to allow exemptions. I would like to say thank you, since we are supposed to be living in a world of tolerance and its good to see when companies and citizens follow the human rights code and have empathy. I will be giving them my business.

The facilities are magnificent, attention very well. The Cineplex app for ordering food does not work. The app is bad and it is disrespectful to say that it is used when it does not work. I lost about 10 minutes using the app and in the end the app tells me that there is a technical issue. The menu does not have all the items. Not all beers on the menu. I ordered nachos but they didn't have it, I asked for something else and they didn't have it. In the end after many attempts they had something. VIP should improve to be called VIP.

This was the second time I visited the new Cineplex on Fairway. It only has 4 or 5 ticket terminals and they're not user friendly; if you're unfamiliar with their seating/screen designation/selection process, you easily get confused and hold up the line. Because of the throng jostling to get in, you feel rushed; I bought the box seats by mistake (a patron told me they're just a little more expensive but more comfortable). It turned out those seats were $24 extra for two seats and were far from comfortable. As a matter of fact, my seat was defective. The manager was gracious enough to give me a refund and reassign new seats to us but they were not seats I would've selected and I was quite uncomfortable throughout the whole movie. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. I will admit the plush seating was comfortable, the concession selection favourable, but the overall experience left me disappointed.

Since your managers don't reply and your head office reads messages and doesn't respond...I'm resorting to Google. You need to start offering steel straws for sale. If you are going to charge $50 for popcorn and drinks...and only offer paper straws that disintegrate...that's insane. So gross. You need to at least give customers another option. I already know people who bring in their own outside drinks for this reason.

VIP used to be my favorite. Not anymore. We bought four VIP tickets at regular price and was planning to go have dinner and a movie. Unfortunately we were not allowed to eat or drink at the VIP movie theatre and we had to keep our mask on the entire movie. This is ridiculous as the VIP theatre is already overpriced. We should have received a discounted price as we were not able to receive and of the amenities. The seats are spread out and already socially distanced, no one is moving around during the movie. I attend the gym and there are many people working out without masks. I go to restaurants and sit at a table eating food without masks. I go swimming with several people without wearing masks. It is ridiculous to be required to wear a mask while sitting in your own movie seat. VIP cinemas better check themselves because they will be going out of business. It is much more comfortable and affordable to watch this movie in the comfort of your own home.

I love the VIP theatre BUT the food and Food service is not on par. Food often arrives at a temperature that in my opinion may not be safe to eat and is prepared poorly. My Burger was cold and toppings were piled on in an half hazard manner, masses of shredded lettuce with mayo slopped on in a manner that it would be impossible to eat it without it dripping everywhere along with a half a cup of shredded lettuce. Fries were slightly warm. Nacho’s arrived and half of the cheese was not melted and all and nachos were not heated through at all. There is no window of opportunity to express dissatisfaction to server and no server returns to ask if everything is alright ...likely because the delivery of food takes place right before the movie starts and there is no time for the server to to do so. So you are basically stuck with it. I left my seat and went to the restaurant area to attempt to bring the food issue forward re the burger and fries and they gave a hard time and then took the burger off the bill. I usually would just forget about something like this and not make a deal about it but this was ridiculous and not the first time. I have worked in the restaurant industry and this food should never have left the kitchen and the server should have brought it to the attention of the person who prepared it so badly. My advice is do not order food there. Enjoy the movie experience because it is fantastic. Food here is too expensive to let them get away with this. I considered taking a picture of it all but it was in a theatre so....not appropriate re flash.

It was fun but with all those pandemic rules out, they could only have about 15 people in one screen room. Trying to place an early sitting spot is crazy since you have to be 6 ft. apart Seriously!! After all this time, if we aren't safe we never will be. Come on people, wake up and see the signs of control the government is placing on us. Shutting down businesses until people lose their way of earning money. They lose their homes and then the cost of food and all other needed things skyrockets so who wins but the rich men. As all Cineplex it is the same. But for me as an Indian and being new to Canada I enjoyed watching movie at Cineplex and one of the main reason is that of the quality of the seats as it was really comfortable. They were of synthetic leather and had recliner which can be Operated by a click of a button. At the same time the quality of the movie screen was also phenomenonal. The sound quality was also perfect for watching movies of any kind. So everyone give it a try it's really awesome.

Seats are comfortable and ambiance is great. Sound picture all great. Food... That is an other thing altogether. I've eaten here several times and the food has always been overpriced and generally bad. Too salty or cold or tast burnt etc. Stick to the popcorn and drinks and you will be fine.

Its a nice place but certainly needs quite a bit of cleaning. Nice reclining seats with full of garbage ( 3d glasses and popcorn) underneath which can invite rats and rodents. So if you drop your keys etc., you have to go through that garbage. Last but not the least: They started serving liquor with SKYROCKETING PRICES for example: Double the price of any regular pub, bar or restaurant.

The VIP cinemas are amazingly decadent, chair side service is amazing! :-) We tend to go on Tuesdays when it's not so pricey and enjoy it a ton. It's the first theatre where my wife does not get a headache from watch 3D. We like the convenience on dining in at the theatre. The food and the pricing is compatible with most roadhouse restaurants.

A neat cinema on fairway drive, consisting of 6-7 screen, that show different movies, mostly in English. The food you get at the cinema is really good, but keep in mind there is no interval between the movie so buy your popcorn or drinks before you get into the movie... If you are a Scotiabank card user you can earn extra points at this cinema, you can also redeem your Scene points out here and see a movie for free. Enjoy!

On Sunday we went to the kitchener VIP cinema. The movie we booked was in the VIP theatre. There was no one at the counter so we asked the girl at the bar if there is anyone there as we want to order. She offered to take our order but said we have to come back in 10 minutes for the poutine. I don’t understand how thats not a VIP service because as We saw other servers taking poutines into other theaters. So we decided to stay because its no point going back and coming again. We ordered at 2.50pm and we waited at the lobby. It was 3.30pm but there was no sign of the order and we missed close to 45 mins of the movie. We then told another server and she asked our theatre number and the seats and we asked if we can have it sent it in. she said yes and took our seat number and the theatre number. So we went back in hoping we would get it. Another 30 mins has passed but no sign of the order. Then I went back and told another server that we are waiting for 45 + mins but never got our order. That server was so kind and bought our order quickly.It was clear that the girl at the bar treated us differently because we are not canadian. Very disappointed of the service. Never again going to this cinema.

Second time here in as many months. It’s conveniently located and easily accessible by car or transit. The only thing I had an issue is the viewing angle in auditorium is a bit harsh. Not sure if it was because the movie was in 3D but when sitting off to the side, there was almost like a glare on the opposite side of the screen.

Highly recommend. My boyfriend and I only do date night one way now and that is VIP. The experience is amazing and it's worth the extra little bit. You get to do dinner and a movie and VIP makes it incredibly comfortable and convenient. Make sure you arrive half an hour early so that you can order your food. You get to pick your seats when you buy your tickets so you never have to worry about what seats you'll get. Use the Cineplex app- it's easy and you won't have to wait in lines to purchase tickets. The reclining seats are amazing and you get plenty of leg room/ personal space. The food isn't amazing but it is pretty good considering they make it and serve it to you within a really short time frame. You can also order drinks. Since our discovery of VIP I now make my girlfriends do VIP as well and they have all really enjoyed it. Next movie you go to see a movie, see it in VIP, you won't be disappointed.

What a scam of a theater, Kiki the manager had someone sell us popcorn when we were going into the theater. We weren't told no food allowed and went to enter the theater with the popcorn. Upon doing so we were informed no food so went to get a refund. When asking for it we were told " no refund" by Kiki at which point we commented on the absurdity that employees don't notify movie goers of the restrictions when buying popcorn. At this point she begrudgingly accepted to refund us. Never coming here again such a clown Fiesta.

Great place for a girls night or date night. I love the in seat service and the reclining chairs. The movie selection is usually pretty good and the only complaint I have is that I can’t pay for a regular movie ticket after experiencing the VIP theatres. The food selection is decent but wish the popcorn was left in the bag so I could bring it home without it spilling.

It's always clean, the staff are friendly, and we always buy our tickets - and food! - ahead of time so we get the seats we want and the food arrives with enough time to finish before the movie starts. I went to use the VIP theatre at this location. The staff in the lounge were boisterous and noisy (7 staff), you couldn't here much over them laughing and chatting. The Calamari arrived raw and was sent back, their solution was to put the same order back in the deep fryer. The manager didn't bother to come over an apologise. I was not happy with the inadequate level of customer service for a "VIP" experience. The in movie service was prompt and polite. Having your own recliner and retractable table is a very nice touch and there is plenty of leg room to relax. The movie quality was great as well as the sound. Very nice location.

I really liked seeing movies here at first. However, now every time my husband and I see a movie here we leave angry and tell ourselves we aren't coming again, but always give it another chance for the big blockbuster movies. VIP is barely tolerable now. People stagger in late and still get food orders taken. The movie had started and staff are making several trips delivering food. Sometimes taking more orders! People talking and using their phones during the movie is unbearable. $50 and 19+ you should expect people to respect that and have common courtesy, but they don't. The theater should do SOMETHING to discourage this constant annoyance. Especially for $50! It sucks we need a hall monitor but that's what it's come to. We saw the standard version of Captain Marvel last night and the quality of sound and video is the same as previous viewings. Muffled quiet speaking that's drowned out by too much bass. The screens are dark and sometimes movement is blurry. Thought it was a great option when it first opened. Quickly grown to dislike this overpriced theater.

Overall a good movie theatre! The staff were nice and the bathrooms were well kept! However, I was disappointed that there was no TimePlay like other cineplex theatres, and the sitting area upstairs wasnt very clean. Additionally, I dont find the seats here very comfortable (they definitely aren't for shorter people! Had to bunch up my coat behind me for adequate back support). Overall not too bad though, had a decent time.

Love the big chairs and in-seat service. The problem is bar service in the lounge, it's an absolute joke. We have never had a good experience, but last night was the worst. Came in with a group of 10. They accommodated seating for us right away, got our drink orders in - then we waited almost 30 minutes, to the point it was time to go into our theatre and we still didn't have our drinks. We inquired a couple times, only to be told they were 'very busy at the bar'. So add a couple of bartenders if you can't keep up, don't keep people waiting 30 minutes for a freaking drink. People pay a lot of money for a VIP ticket and the price of drinks at the VIP lounge, give them some service!

This theatre is a bit overrated, because in this city there are two far cheaper theatres with alcohol. It also costs a bit more, but that does not mean it is a bad movie theatre and basically has all the features that the other theatres have, but all in the same theatre and a bit more expensive. Impressive theatre for date night or if the time is convenient, but don't inconvenience yourself for this place.

Fantastic cinemas to watch a movie with family. We started going to this cinema a year or two ago and we always impressed with the way we are treated. The staff are amazing and always smiling and happy to serve you. We really like this specific location on fairway road. I decided to do this review during COVID with hopes that everyone goes back to these Cinemas after the outbreak is over.

It's great to be honest. In a time where we are dealing with covid it was refreshing to see the staff take every effort to ensure social distancing in and out of the theaters. They actually com into the theater before the movie and make sure ure in correct seats etc. Very few ppl in theaters watching movies regardless so it was easy to distance. We watched Tenet. Good movie. Recommend. The VIP section and Dbox seats are a bit pricey. The regular seats are really comfy though. Not much difference.

Great lounge. Service at your seat is awesome. Seats are comfortable with lots of leg room. They recline nicely. Food menu is awesome. Prices are fair. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is chilled and relaxed in the lounge. The salted caramel brownies were AMAZING!! Well worth the price.

Horrible service at the bar. It took them 12 minutes to take our order while two bartenders worked on one person's huge order they were giving for their huge group. Asked for extra olives and didn't get them. They said that they would be open and available to take drink orders until 11:30. I went out at 11:24 and they were very rude and snarky about telling me that the bar was closed even though they had told me previously the time they were open until. I mentioned they said 11:30 and that was still five minutes away and they apatheticly shrugged and dismissed me. So rude. Every single time I come to this theatre people are consistently taking around you. No one seems to care how expensive it is to be there and are most of the time rude and even check their phones during the whole film. All in all not worth the $80 you spend on two tickets and some drinks. Total rip off.

The staff is great. Always a friendly smile and a genuine hello glad to see you. The VIP section price is what you would expect to pay for the service. The mid level rating I gave is for the seating. The vip section seats are standard and if one is a plus size person not the most comfortable. The location of the the recliner controls is poorly placed, seats are far to low to the ground and if you suffer with bad knees this will be painful by the end on the film. Sitting in the non vip section you have the opportunity to raise the arm rest making the button location workable and seats slightly more comfortable. However even in these seats the level they are at is still hard on bad knees

I love how open and accessible this cinema is. It almost feels like a movie just going up the escalator to the floor above. The cinema was clean, service was respectful and there is nothing better than going to see a movie after a long week.

Good location close to lots of restaurants. I like the arcade section. Really keeps the kids occupied if you are there early. A movie theatre is not something I go to frequently but this one is definately nice. Pretty expensive if you want the full VIP experience. Lots of parking and accessibility. Not a lot of snack options for vegans unless you want popcorn with no butter.

Enough is enough, I am officially not returning to a theatre again. Their "VIP" experience is little more than more expensive seating. I haven't had a good experience my last 10 visits to this VIP. No in seat service. Food not delivered. Constant cell phone users And my last visit had a loud drunken lady spill drinks on herself and was shouting during the film. After the film there was no staff to be found anywhere! If we are paying for VIP then how about someone to usher these people out, or see to it that the theatres are tended too.

We have been going to the VIP section of Cineplex since it opened on fairway. Prior to that we had to drive to Oakville. Love the experience! Having the larger reclining chairs and in seat service really makes you feel at home. The addition of proper meals and adult beverages also adds a great touch for a good time. Its adults only section of the theater is great for a date night! Not a bad experience yet. Friendly staff and clean environment. It is well maintained for a better viewing experience!

Theatre is brand new and you can tell. Interior is nice, sat in a regular non vip theatre. I would come back to this theatre just because of the seats. They are comfy, recline a little and tons of leg room for people to move around without having people stand to get by. Will be back, maybe get off my wallet to experience a movie in the vip theatre

I always love going for movies to this cinema because come on, who doesn't love a glass of wine or a can of beer to go with their popcorn, nachos and a comfortable seat while watching a movie?! The screen is big enough, rates reasonable with the special offer on Tuesdays and the cinema size too is just right. It's not too crowded or too congested either.

For a new highly anticipated theater I was excited to go and check it out.....not what I expected. I do admit the theaters them selves are really nice. The seating is very comfortable . However, the food I payed a fortune for was awful. I had a burger that was so hard on one side that I almost broke my tooth. I also had to wait 25 minutes for my food because the staff was making their customers from the VIP theaters their top priority. I also had a problem with the pre order ticket machines in the lobby . The girl at the customer care desk delt with it like a pro and she is the only reason that I have given a 3 star rating rather than a 2. I expected a lot more out of this place and was left very disappointed. I would suggest to anyone to take your own food. Hope this helps.

The show is beautiful but is too expensive for us to to return. We only went with a gift card and had a couple of drinks as a treat. My husband is 6ft.3 and found the recliner uncomfortable with his legs over hanging and becoming numb. He also found the left arm rest a tad too high which put a strain on his shoulder. Every so often he had to lay his arm straight or squeeze it beside his hip.

I took my mum and dad for the first time and I wanted them to experience the VIP a nice dinner and a movie and of course a beer for my dad while watching the movie. Unfortunately there was 2 3D movies playing but they are too old for the 3D experience and can't see out of the glasses properly. The other 3 movies were scary not something they have ever been into but were willing to see IT but that movie didn't start till 9:30 and it was only 6:30. So we did find a movie for them to watch in the regular theaters we enjoyed that but really wish there was better choices in the VIP. Will try again next month and hopefully find a good movie in the VIP section. May I also say all of your staff is very friendly.

The theater is comfortable and has new lounge chairs. Paying an extra fee for AVX and then at the exact time the movie was supposed to start we were inundated with 20 minutes of car and battery ads before they started the movie preview for another 10 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous timing, play ads before the movie is supposed to start

Went to Cineplex Kitchener on Monday for a 6 p.m. Showtime at the VIP Theater. Wanted to grab dinner with my wife. Went upstairs at 4:45 to start with drinks and dinner, to find the VIP lounge closed. Asked when it opened, was told 5:30pm. No hours listed anywhere. Kind of defeats the purpose of even having a VIP lounge in the first place. Well done... In the age of social media and instant gratification, you guys are committing virtual suicide.

Updated: When the theater first opened, the VIP experience was great, but it has steadily declined over time. Now, if you want food or snacks, you're better off grabbing them yourself rather than waiting for the wait staff to make their way to you. Reading the other negative reviews, I see I'm not the only one who experienced sub-standard customer service. Now the ~$100 for two tickets really isn't worth it for me.

Honestly if you aren’t seeing a VIP movie don’t go here. I was seeing a movie and 13 of the seats in the theatre were “broken”, only front row seats were available. I asked the young man working what was wrong with them his response was “they pay me minimum wage I don’t know”. So I bought the front row tickets with the hope that I could sit in a “broken” seat. (Also why does a brand new theatre have 13 broken seats). Moral of the story my friend and I ended up sitting in the broken seats (they were perfectly fine). The popcorn station where you get straws or condiments was extremely dirty, looks like the carpet hadn’t been swept in days. Don’t waste your money spending extra to go see a regular movie at this theatre. Go to landmark where it is clean and nothing is broken. The bathrooms were also filthy.

I went with my wife to see a movie in VIP and what a bad experience. This isnt my first time in VIP but now they became extremely cheap. You used to be able to order a combo of a drink, popcorn, and candy to your seat now you cant. Even though they have it on the menu you can't order it to your seat that way they make even more money off of you. Also when arriving we were told instead of just heading upstairs like usual to use my phone for our tickets we had to get them printed out downstairs. And the kicker here is there is no VIP line either it was just one line and a huge line. Whays the point of purchasing it online amd getting VIP when you are definately not treated like it. I would suggest saving your money and just going to a local theatre in town. I hope this helps.

Came here to watch a movie in VIP. I have been to a few VIP theaters and this is the only VIP theater with full reclining chairs. The full reclining chairs make the movie more enjoyable. The servers are friendly and the in seat food and drinks come out fairly quickly.

Great cinema had an awesome experience there. Seats are fully cushioned leather and even recline as well though I wish they reclined more or had the foot rest come higher. They also have a VIP option where you can buy dinner and Alcohol for a more formal setting, great for dates. I only went for the regular but even then it was very nice with a large screen and full sound.

This place is top of the line. Being that it's brand new it has all the bells and whistles. Have done both regular theaters and VIP here and loved both. Seating in regular theaters have buttons to recline back. Large and comfy. VIP has actually lazy boys it seems for seats. Extremely comfy and the food service was actually very good. VIP can get expensive but worth it for a full night out.

I love this location! The VIP section is great and there's lots of delicious food to choose from. The seats are very comfortable and there's plenty of leg room. Don't let that scare you though! Always love going here! I always go early. Tickets bought and popcorn bought. Sit and watch preshow until movie starts. Big comfortable seats that you can move. Big screens and big sound. An arcade area for kids. They even host bday parties. Lots of parking too.

Clean and close to my home in Stanley Park. We take the kids to the regular area. We have visited the VIP area, I don't like it personally, I find the screens to order and the staff moving around very distracting. The prices are really high but the seats are super comfy and it is awesome for snuggling your significant other. If you want to be catered to and have a fun experience it was fun to try once for sure.

We enjoyed our first VIP experience. The serving staff was pleasant and accommodating. The food was a tad slow but decent. The seats were comfortable and roomy. My husband said there wasn't one thing he didn't enjoy which is very high praise. The only flaw I found was price which is well beyond frugal. I wouldn't go all the time but for a rare treat it was worth it.

To be honest I was quite disappointed. I had been about a year ago with a family member. I shared my good experience then with my father and he asked me to attend a film with him at the VIP theatre hoping for the great experience I once had. We arrived for a 10:45pm film. We sat and began looking at the menu. There were 3 wait staff in room serving other patrons, I had each of them walk past me multiple times tending to other guests. I am a patient person and was in no rush to order. I flagged a waitress down only to have her walk past me and to the row behind me to tend a guest there. A second waitress tended the guests 3 seats away. She then took an order for the guests beside me, whom arrived after I had. I had gestured for attention to this other server as well. Both waitresses continued to walk past me. With the tablet and later with food. At this point the movie was beginning. I told my now grumpy/disappointed father that I will go and get something myself. I arrived at the bar only to find out that concession was now closed and i couldnt even get a glass of water. Whilst I enjoyed the film. The seats were still nice and comfortable, and there was plenty of leg room. My desire to ever return has plummeted to less then zero. Whats worse is my father drove from out of town excited for the experience, table side service and to enjoy a beer at the movies, but was ultimately disappointed.

I enjoy the VIP in seat service, but last time when I visited, I ordered chicken tacos but never received it. And before I enter, I had to wait for several minutes until a ticket taker show up at the VIP entrance, this has happened multiple times.

I had been to this theatre previously and enjoyed my service in the 19+ section, but was disappointed in the customer service I received at the concession stand this visit. We chose to buy general admission tickets and grab our own food from the concession, we were told to go over to the popcorn line as the food line ( where the pulled pork is served ) wasnt taking customers. I walked over to the other line and miraculously they were taking customers again, so we ordered 2 poutine, gentleman serving it served fries that had been sitting, when he realized he didnt have enough he dumped some out and poured them into the other container to skim from the top on each. When I asked him to please make new ones he glared at me, didnt respond but made new fries. I thanked him anyways and went to get our seats, which were easy to find. Popcorn and poutine were hot and delicious. Expensive food but the entire theatre is overall expensive so it was expected. Probably wont return again after this unfortunate experience. Prefer other locations in the area.

All theatres have recliner seating not just the VIP. Screens are large and sound is excellent. Concessions are above average and staff is friendly. A bit more expensive than other theatres but worth it.

Amazing experience. The seats have plenty of leg space and all the seats are reclining. The service of the staff is great. Never had a bad experience from them till now. I would recommend everyone to try DBOX seats, which are just amazing. The theatre is clean.

Was expecting more because it is VIP but this is nothing compared to the cineplex in Oshawa, this is way too cramped and the recliner's rest for your feet doesn't lift (if it did there'd be no walking space - way too cramped). Sitting on it for 2 hrs wasnt the most comfortable experience.

Great theatre, awesome seats. Problem was the lounge prior, where a group of us ordered food and drinks prior to a show.....well before the show. Some food forgotten, some drinks forgotten, paying was a nightmare as we tried to straighten out who ordered what. Told the server that we hadnt ordered some things on the bill, and he deleted them, but then told him what he'd missed, to which he replied that he didn't care. Paid, and then he actually had the nerve to come up after the show to say that some things hadn't been paid for, and he'd like our group to sort out 64 missing dollars. Ordered a pint at the bar as well, glass was given to me 2/3 full on a 9 dollar pint. Long story short, if we ever go to this theatre again, we'll get there 30 minutes prior and order in the theatre from our seats . Those folks seemed to have great service .

Disappointing. Although the inside was beautiful-when you first walk in to the VIP section there's several lounge sections and a bar. The seats in the theatre were extremely comfortable and the movie we picked was great. However, I was extremely disappointed in the service. It ended up being a $70 night (which would be okay if the quality of the service were to appropriately match the prices). I was most excited for the "In Seat service" as advertised. When we sat down there were several servers walking around but not one of them came over to us. We tried to flag several of them down- no one came. I noticed a couple of other people were having difficulty getting their attention as well. The servers all left and we still hadn't been served, my boyfriend decided to go out to the bar to get a couple of drinks (which took far too long). The service was very slow and unpleasant- he ended up missing the first 15 minutes of the movie for two drinks (a Somersby and a rum and coke). If I had received the service I paid for and was promised I would absolutely return- but as of right now I'm unsure on whether I would attend again. From my experience, I don't see the difference between the "VIP" experience and just a regular movie.

I've been to this theatre several times to enjoy the VIP experience. The first couple times I went it was really enjoyable. There was always someone at the door to greet you and a server would take your order promptly when you got into the theatre. The chairs are very comfortable! The last few times I've been the service has gone severely downhill. There's never anyone at the front door and there's maybe one server per theatre which means they struggle to take everyone's order before the movie starts. Last night was the worst experience I've ever had at this theatre. They didn't open the theatre until 10 mins before the show so they had to postpone the movie in order to serve everyone. They had 2 servers in there struggling to take all of our orders and the manager kept coming in to pull them away and talk to them. My boyfriend ended up just going to get most of our food himself. They also were still walking around the theatre serving food once the movie started. I don't know what's going on, but they really need to get organized since they're charging you a premium for the service.

Watched tons of movie there. Specially loves the family favourite movie section on Saturday. Hope there would be more movies in this section, specially latest movie. Staff is nice and polite, I can chat with them for hours. Food is slightly a bit expensive, and the size of regular popcorn is way too big for one people, even for two or three people is too much. Hope there would be a super-small size people for people like me :)

The VIP theatres are awesome. Big wide comfortable seats that recline. Full food and drink menu available with alcoholic drinks. It's on the pricey side, but you are paying for the VIP experience.

The grosses theatre I've ever been in. I guess the VIP means very icky and polluted. How disgusting that the sides of the seats are full of dropped popcorn and gosh knows what else. Dont drop anything! Sad there is staff standing around and they dont clean theater properly. I'm pretty sure we were the first show today do they cant blame it on that. Not worth the travel time to here, the popcorn was super salty too. Never been that way any other place I've been.

Was at the VIP theatre, and it was a truly great experience. The seats are very comfortable and recline for an awesome movie watching experience. The food was delicious (I had the sliders), and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the VIP to anyone looking for an enhanced movie experience, it's worth the extra money.

Staff are great and friendly, but the prices are rather outrageous. Despite that, the seating is amazingly comfortable, for myself (as I deal with severe chronic pain), these are the only theatres where I can comfortably watch a movie without having horrible consequences physically afterwards. For that I am extremely grateful.

Zero people skills, should not be in the service industry. We left without even asking for refunds. Zero stars and we will never ever return even if it was free.

The nice clean chairs are very comfortable to sit on. The popcorn was somewhat disappointing... and the seasoning to put on it tasted like nothing. The drinks are usually filled half with ice, so paying top dollar for a drink only to have it half filled it's quite disappointing. Considering there are no refills on the drink. Would recommend Landmark over cineplex!

My wife and I went Valentine's day night to the VIP theatre to eat and see a movie. We came an hour early thinking we'd at least have some time to have a drink and order food. We waited for 45 minutes without anyone even acknowledging our presence in the lounge. Most of the other tables around us had a similar experience with most just up and leaving. Eventually, 15 minutes before our movie start time, we flagged down a manager to get our money refunded before we left.. He did end up giving us one VIP movie pass and two free entrees to use another time. I doubt we will be back though as it seems to be a common occurrence here.

Great staff, great theatre. They didn't have salt and vinegar shakefor my popcorn...which is why I get popcorn. I wish the girl who took my order told me?..but maybe She wasn't aware. All in all I give it 5 stars. And Wednesdays they have a cheaper two entrees, and app and dessert n movie tickets for $69

The theatre itself is great but I just received the poorest customer service from manager Jeremy W. A refund wasn't issued as promised and I was directed to call the call centre to get it taken care of - maybe show some empathy for the customer having to jump through hoops to get a refund. Just acknowledge the fact that one of your employees messed up, he didn't even say "sorry". Terrible customer service.

I visited the VIP area recently and was not overly impressed with the service. I don't mind paying $25 per ticket for the larger, more spacious reclining seats and in-seat service. However, it seemed like the attendants were trying to avoid serving customers in their seats. Three of them stood in a small group at the entrance, with their back to the audience. They did not go around seat by seat asking if people would like to order anything. They waited to be waved down or approached before asking if we would like to order. You can imagine how difficult it is to flag down people who are standing with their backs to everyone. I have visited other VIP locations and this was not how things were done. I will continue to visit the VIP area for the child-free environment and extra comfort.

I've been to the VIP theatre (at this location) a few times now, and it never disappoints. The service in the VIP theatre is great. The staff wait along the side of the theatre, so You don't feel pressured to order anything. I've never had any problem getting their attention, as they are always scanning the audience. The food is always delicious and hot. The drinks are amazing, and never over-iced. Prices are reasonable for what you get. The portions are perfect. The seating in the VIP theatre is super comfy and spacious. I really like that you can pull the side tray so it's in front of you, and there is plenty of cupholders per person. The middle armrest can lift up, which is nice for couples.

Great theatre, have used both regular seating and VIP and both have exceeded my expectations. One gripe was, i usually get the Costco package deal for 2 tix, 1 popcorn and 2 drinks and usually they always let me substitute one of the drinks for a hot tea or coffee. Last time we were told that was not possible. Wouldn't even let me pay an extra dollar or two for the tea. Quite unreasonable!!

The VIP theater tickets are really expensive... but it truly is an exceptional movie going experience. The food is good and having it brought out for you to enjoy while watching the movie is very unique. The only way to make this better was if they had IMAX screens that were VIP.

Honestly really like this place/part of the theatre. The food was good, wife had Truffle Fries,shrimp and a drink. I had just a crispy chicken with a caesar salad. (pretty good for what it is). The seats are good the attendants are attentive. I didnt have room for the brownie desert. I did see one and it looked dynamite.

BOOM!!!! This is exactly what a movie theatre should be like. Every theatre has AMAZING seats. And the VIP area well worth the extra dollars ( if your 19+ ) what an experience. The extra leg room , full reclining chairs , and having your food and drinks delivered right to you - I couldn't ask for a better time when going to the movies. And if you haven't tried the DBOX seat on the other side - you should , you can't snuggle with these chairs ???? but the cool moving chairs with vibration really gets you in the moment , with those intense scenes !

Love going to the movies and I really like this theatre but my experience at the VIP Restaurant was horrible. My burger had no taste and the texture of rubber. It was clearly a frozen patty that seemed microwaved. When i received my order my fries were already cold and the waitress forgot the gravy. For what you pay to eat here and have a couple drinks (which were good by the way), it is a complete rip off. You would be better off going to have snacks somewhere else beforehand and coming here for the movie.

First time at this theatre. Impressive when you waking in and go upstairs. Ordered our popcorn etc. and went to the condiments counter. The floor was filthy. The counter was covered in pop and garbage. There were no napkins. Asked the gal at the food counter and we were told to ask the guys standing near the condiment counter. Asked them, and they told us to ask at the food counter. Explained we were told to ask them. The four guys who worked there just laughed and said they must be out then. REALLY! How about trying to look for them. Went back to the food counter and the same gal was great. She finished with her customer and then came out and opened up the cupboard at the condiment counter and pulled out packages of napkins and made sure the 4 guys new she was doing this for them. They found this amusing. As we gave our tickets to go into the show the guys laughingly said "you got your napkins?". Did not create the warm experience we were wanting for an evening out.

Really like the theatre, size and seating, but when you have a 3 hour movie playing it would be a great idea to advise people the snack stand will be closed 15 minutes after start time of the movie. Especially when the vending machines have "Out of order" signs on them. No food or beverage the entire time because I wanted to make sure I got my Dbox seat before it got dark and ensure it was working. Upsetting late night screening for a $25 movie ticket.

We were told that we weren't able to buy food. Initially went to the VIP area and they gave us para, but when we learnt we were actually in avx + d box she took the passes back. We watched the movie hungry and thirsty because we planned to eat in the theatre. No warning on the website or ticket that they closed concession. Taking back the passes was just insult to injury.

VIP is excellent. Cannot beat the Tuesday deal with Scene card (13.50). I also hear the Wednesday dinner and a movie deal is very good value. Seats are very roomy and comfortable, but could use more neck support when reclined.

I absolutely love this theater! Sometimes I wish I could bring my kids in the VIP section only because the seats are that much more comfortable! I have to say that the menus in the VIP section are awesome too! The seats in the family friendly section are great as is the selection of snacks. Great for an outing with the kids but the VIP is a must try for date night!

We tried the VIP seats at this theatre and have decided it's the only way to see a movie. Drinks served at your seat, a full menu of food and snacks and no kids kicking the back of your chair. The seats are large and comfortable and recline so that you can relax and enjoy the movie. What more could you ask for?

A great movie experience. VIP is a must try but quite expensive. We have the scene card so we tend to use points. Staff and service are top notch. Location is horrible, especially around the holidays. Give yourself a bit of extra time to get in and out. A/V quality is a ten out of ten, even in the standard theatres.

Love the leather electric recliner seats but I wish that the back part goes backwards more as it was hurting my back as only the feet area rises up. Wish they update to modern CC version than the old Captiview stick thing as I'm Deaf. Food and drinks are overly priced. It's my first time trying out the VIP seating area. I went with my hearing sister.

Great VIP experience, wait staff comes right to your seat to order drinks and food. Awesome chairs that recline too. Ticket is a bit pricey, but worth it on a special occasion. Only complaint is you can't order things after the movie starts (or it was that way when we went last), so you have to get there pretty early if you want food, or don't want to be rushed. Same great movies though.

Starting off with the good - the seats are amazing. We went about 40 minutes before our movie started, and asked for a Descriptive Service Device for my wife. It's advertised on their site, so we figured it would be no trouble. It took the initial customer service rep about 10 minutes to find it. We also had to explain that a blind person needs the one with headphones, not the one with subtitles. The rep didn't seem to understand why. Fast forward to the start of the movie - she was ready to listen, and it started to play the wrong movie. I ran downstairs and told a staff member, who contacted another staff member, who contacted another staff member. After about 10 minutes, I got the new unit - not even a slight apology for the inconvenience. Hopefully the staff gets a bit more training on dealing with disabled patrons in the future.

This is exclusively for the VIP section. My husband and I no longer purchase tickets for anything less then VIP. The atmosphere and comfort make VIP worth its price ten-fold. That being said, at roughly $25/person, we are now more selective on what we go watch at the theater and reserve the outing for special occasions or a special date night. We've never ordered food from the menu but friends do it all the time. Also a pro-tip if you collect scene points: you don't earn scene points purchasing concessions (popcorn, soda, candy) from the VIP menu/area, so if you want to earn all the scene points you can, pick up popcorn in the concessions stand outside the VIP entrance instead and then bring it in.

My gangly legs can't handle sitting in theatre seats. My child-level attention span can't sit still for the length of a movie. Then, THEN the VIP theatre came to down, and my life changed. Is it more expensive? Of course... You think something with a VIP tag on it is going to be a cheaper option? The extra bucks are absolutely worth it. My gangle legs are comfortable, I don't need to fidget, and you can get booze at your seat. That's a recipe to make Laura sit still for a couple hours. Worth it!

For the most part it was an enjoyable theatre. Unfortunately the cost of meals and drinks was so expensive for VIP. Even for theatres that generally over charge at the confectionary stand it was a little outrageous. Plus we ordered for VIP seating and when it came time for us to go into our seats we found out that the show wasn't playing in VIP and we had to change theatres to watch it in regular seating even though we requested and paid for VIP!

Great experience, everything was perfect. Tried the VIP theatre for the first time last night to see rocket man for my moms birthday. The restaurant at the theatre was amazing, and the customer service from everyone, especially Tracy was top notch, she even explained to us how the vip tickets work as we were not sure. It was awesome how we could order popcorn and drinks from our seats and they brought them to us before the movie started.
