Where to start. Room is nothing like the advertised picture Millions of bugs fly into room when you open the door Door doesn't close properly Out of all the channels on TV there's like 5 you can actually watch Bed is comfy Room is so out dated I feel like I'm in a horror movie Toilet flushes every 10 minutes And no shower curtain on the tub Biggest dump I've ever stayed in And even if you have your DnD sign out housekeeping will still try to bother you when your sleeping and then wait for you to leave and take your sign down and pretend it wasn't up and then go in and clean

Mohawks and Tomahawks

Although the staff were friendly and they accepted debit, the room itself wasn't the cleanest. Didn't mind that it was very dated looking, but there was crumbs in the drawer and the fridge smelled funky. Definitely overpriced for $180 as I've been to much nicer roadside motels for half the price, but had to stop here late night while traveling due to a road closure.

Only available room was a 'smoking room'. Albeit it was 1:30 in the morning when we arrived and every hotel in town was booked. The room was filthy and due to the proximity of the outdoor lights contained thousands of mayflies swarming the lights inside. If you need a place to stay, i would recommend keeping your luggage off the floor and bring your own blankets and pillows. - Sincerely, Desperate Traveller.

Extra tax from city of Kenora on bill. Stayed here last nite. Hallways were quite dirty. Stairwells were intolerable, stains and worn out all over. Room was clean and smelled well. AC was left on and so room was chilled upon entering. Pool was closed but that was due to ill repair and not covid. Breakfast had been available at the Super 8 that morning in Hearst but somehow Days wasn't opening their dining facility until Sept 10. All other restaurants, outside hotels anyway, had opened their dining rooms. With no pool, waterside, nor free breakfast still same price. 2 stars is generous really.

Due to Covid-19 and CERB, there was only 2 workers, and I offered to finish my room. The girls ran their tails off getting rooms ready for guests, there was police presents, most of the evening and tow truck at early hours...I didnt sleep much that evening, alot more guests were unhappy aswell...sorry

Amazing hot tub and pool. The slide wasn't functioning when we were there which was disappointing. The room wasn't dirty, but our bathroom wasn't cleaned 100%. The musty smell was awful and never went away. The smell of pot coming from one of the rooms where the front desk employee came from was not impressive either. The hotel wasn't the best, but wasn't the worse, worth the cheap cost.

WiFi doesn't stay connected. I had dirty towels in the bathroom, had to get changed. Room's small. No bedside/night stands. Funny odor. Not as updated as advertised. No elevator. Amenities list Business Centre, however no printer available for guests. Bed was comfortable, and liked the HD TV.

Stayed here for one night on a work trip. Guy at the reception was kind of rude. Understand he seem a bit overwhelmed, but no excuse to be rude to your customers. Room was clean, bed wasn't too bad. Bathroom was just mediocre, towels were rough on skin and bathtub was cracked. Food options for breakfast were pretty good though. Probably stay here again only if there's nothing else better available.

Sorry to say the restaurant was not accommodating when we asked to return a Fettuccini dish that was oily and not what we expected. They just said that's the way it is. We asked for replacement with another dish and we were met with silence. They still charged us for the dish which sat on the table untouched. $22 waste. Otherwise, the room was good and the other food was good also.

Reasonable price. Very helpful and professional front desk. There was a huge sports group in (martial arts) and she made sure she gave us a room that wouldn't be in the midst of the masses ... so nice and quiet. VERY NICE CLEAN ROOM. VERY for the price. Wicked server lady in lounge put on the playoff game and took care of us. Menu dull...ate downtown instead.

The actual room was clean and what we had hoped for. Unfortunately the check-in was a bit of a nightmare. We arrived to the hotel at 2:30PM. We are told that we cannot check-in until 3PM. I queried whether any rooms were available for check-in (I found it difficult to believe that there was not a single room available at 2:30PM), and was rudely told “we have 74 rooms to clean and only 3 staff”. Okay, we will wait the 30 minutes. We wait until 3:05PM, and we are told “we are not sure if your room is clean, you can go check”. We go up the stairs to a dirty room. I have never in all of my years of staying in a hotel been told to check the status of my own hotel room. We go back downstairs, she says “you’ll have to wait”. It is 3:50 by the time the room is ready for us... these things do haopen, set-backs occur and waiting is not the end of the world - however it was truly the consistent negativity and attitude, and being sent to a dirty right room, that made the overall checkin experience negative. The facilities person (not usually a cleaner, he explained) did clean our room for us and he was very nice! It’s a week later and I still find it hard to wrap my head around the fact that we had to go check if our room was cleaned .. and when it was still dirty, we were not given another room or even apologized to. We’re very understanding people generally, but it felt like the hotel did not even want our business... I would not stay again.

Not recommended, no breakfast ( for the price) It was dirty, shabby and unkept..we had planned a nice evening in Kenora, that place ruined that..we wouldn't even go in the pool..(the main reason that we booked the place) On the positive side, we met some nice people, and the porridge was good

It was a very clean room, which is important to me and of course, the bed. By the way, was very comfy. It looked new, so I slept great! The food is excellent also. Therefore, I will stay here again????????

Such a great atmosphere in the restaurant and dinning areas. A great hotel to spend the night or even a few days while you enjoy the sites, the lake, or even for work in Kenora.
