Overall nice theater and super nice staff. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. Kids love going there :-) sadly that one claw game is rigged. It cannot support a heavier stuffy as we had one and just before it dropped into the hope the arms opened up.

A standard Cineplex, so nothing special. Appreciate the new AVX theatre... A little more expensive, but the ability to reserve seats and see new movies on the great big screen makes it worth it.

the facility needs an upgrade considering the amount you pay at the concessions. sometimes a movies is either good or it's not, that's not the locations fault. you can't get refills anymore on popcorn or drinks. i guess my beef would be with the chain then not the location. the staff is always very friendly and accomadating. I go to the movies too often, the best deal is to buy the pass for 2 at costco

I never went into the Galaxy Cinemas just walked by the place never entered it however I hope one day soon after covd 19 is long gone and over with I will make it a point to see a good movie but until then I'll stay at home and watch Netflix or something else.

This cineplex isn't as nice as some of the others in the franchise but most of the theatres are adequate enough. I've only been in one room where the sound was a little underwhelming. But they usually have whatever I'm looking for (except after popularity dies down for a movie they often only do the 3D showings, so if you prefer 2D don't wait).

The parking there is horrible, I just receieved a parking infraction from parking on the street in which I PAID for in the meter. Get your parking $hit together Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough, I'm never going back because of that.

Movie admission is reasonable. But the concession stand OUCH. DOUBLE OUCH. Popcorn is so inexpensive yet they charge like it's gold. OMG. Please lower the prices and make it reasonable for all families regardless of their income more affordable to enjoy the snacks!

Since this place opened it has steadily gone down hill. The theatres are always filthy, floors are stickier than the floors around macs slushy machines, seating is just as bad. Food is really bad, the last time the fries were over cooked and seemed reheated from earlier in the day. Volume is incredibly loud (this coming from a metal concert veteran). Have had issues with 3d movies not being projected properly, sometimes not even in 3d and the last time we went, we paid for reserved seating and had to fight with other people to get our seats as they were sold unassigned tickets. The place needs proper staffing, better concession and some mr. clean.

People are fantastic at the Galaxy in Peterborough. We go on a regular basis and we are always treated well buying tickets and/or buying refreshments. Staff is extremely helpful if we ever have questions. But the way we are treated is tempered when the popcorn, pop, candy and hot food prices are beyond reasonable. And with the new drink sizes/same price policy, you are going to lose another customer. Not necessarily because of the money, but more because of the principle behind it. Pure profit taking greed. It's bad enough we have to sit through all those ads and crap before the movie. Going to the movies is supposed to be an enjoyable experience all around. And forcing people to go see 3D when you want to see anything but is also profit taking. My 10 year old and his buddies actually hate 3D movies and I the majority of the people I talk to have no use for them. It appears an artificial demand has been created by the movie industry to maximize those profits. Sad.

Nice cinema but the seats are a little uncomfortable. If your from the surrounding lindsay area and don't mind a little drive I would recommend the oshawa odeon theater just for the reclining leather seats. Overall everything else in this theater was up to par and had great service.

This is your average Ciniplex theatre. The staff here are great and they have underground parking for free with validation,after 6pm, and on weekend (great for downtown). I love the Ultra AVX theatre they have, the extra cost is definitely worth is for action movies.

The washrooms are disgusting - You have to touch the taps and soap, no automation in such a heavily used area. No paper-towels in the washrooms either, just useless and loud "dryers". I'd rather watch a movie at home.

We waited 30min to get our tickets for Jurassic World 2 on a Mon night. Visited for the third time on Sept 1st for Mile 22, this visit was much faster, they had 4 employees at the concession booth. Waited only 5min not 30min like the last 2 times.

Chairs are outdated and consessions are still highly overpriced. Bring a water bottle and maybe your own candy in your pocket. Movie is expensive enough for the lack of facility quality.

Tight seating...even the expensive ultra avx, where the guy infront of you is in your lap... In Oshawa general seating (which comes in standard reclining lots of leg room and duo arm rests). Show times are different than advertised...much less the the venu (general vs it actually being ultra avx, false advertising ! Oh and dont bother calling them for show times...customer no service! Unhappy....almost wort the drive else where !

I love it all! Except the yoghurt place - i'm exceptionally saddened they got rid of yogen früz as you could actually get real frozen yoghurt with the fruit mixed into your yoghurt properly. Also miss NYF, the only place to get it now is Lansdowne which is far. Aside from that, fun games, delicious popcorn, theatres are usually well kept clean. Love the AVX, hoping for VIP at some point in the near future.

Overall a good experience. Parking is a weak point. Butter flavour add-on is weak tasting. Seat layout when purchasing tickets online did not match what was at the theatre so reserving seats was silly.

Prices suck, but let's face it - it's like that everywhere and set by their corporate HQ. That said - this theatre is very well maintained and clean. The staff at this location vary between the typical disinterested in their job, and some who go way above and beyond. I wish I could list names, but the manager and concession staff I recently dealt with were absolutely top notch. Impressed me big time. This is my regular staple theatre! Check them out.

Often crowded. Always overpriced. Commercials at something I paid for?! Poor contrast ratio. The picture definition on any new TV is far superior to anything I've seen in a movie theater. If you want big, a cheap video projector will get you the same or better image quality. People talk through movies, cough on you, krinkle wrappers, look at their phones. I get the feeling nobody really wants to be there, they just don't want to be left out of the water cooler chat on Monday... Cinema is dead! Long live the cinema! Would have given only 1 star, but they let you butter your own popcorn.

Too expensive, its outrageous, and the fact they no longer do refills is kind of ridiculous, considering how much they charge for soft drinks and popcorn, when both are relatively cheap items to begin with. They milk customers for their money these days. The only thing that is still a good price is their tickets for the movie, which is the only reason why I did not rate this cinema as one star. Half the time I come here the employees are emotionless or seem unhappy… not very good customer service from my experiences either, my elderly mother could say the same, whom they manipulated. She was told she was getting a gift card worth 40$ around christmas, (and my mother is not a rich lady, she actually struggling with money issues) and was planning to give it to a family member for a gift, until a few days before christmas, she opened the envelope to find 40$ worth of coupons, 15$ of which was useless because we do not have a Toys r US or home internet to use the DVD rental, and no movie ticket was present in the package, just a buy one get one free coupon which was never mentioned. We called for my mom and immediately they said No refunds. And no one would compensate or do anything. I had no choice but to buy the coupons off of her so she could give the family member 40$ to just go to the movies so she didn't feel bad. So thank you Galaxy Cinemas for that Dilemma. Your service to the public could not be worse.

I don't like the way that they've got rid of the ticket selling staff and have went to a fully automated system. I always avoid these things whenever I'm in any other store and I'm annoyed that we had to use one here. When it comes to the food, we had another lackluster experience. My wife asked for two of the same thing and they only gave her one. It created a weird situation that made us nearly late for our movie.

Clean, free parking on the weekend, friendly staff. Lost one star as we had to wait in the line for snacks/drinks to purchase just our movie tickets as no staff were working the ticket counter. They do have self serve ticket kiosks, however they aren't meant for people who are paying cash.

It's your average corporate theater but the standard showings to 3D showings ratio is pretty out of wack. I understand 3D is the movie industry's big push for theater-only profits but they could still have at least two normal showings for those who don't want the frankly distracting post-production 3D effects

Friendly staff promptly verified our vaccination status so we had extra time before the movie. AVX theatre brought the sound. I didn't mind the chairs but my father wasn't impressed. Funny note: when asking if they had Kronenbourg (beer) the answer I received was, "is that a movie" - alas, there is the director David Cronenberg.... Staff serving the drinks could use a bit of training but not a biggie.

Went to see The Kitchen yesterday, fantastic movie. The service at this cinema was good though the butter station did not have any butter to put on my popcorn. Upon entering the movie theatre, I almost tripped up the stairs because the lighting in the theatre was so dim - and this was at least 15 minutes before the pre-show commercials even came on. Being in my third trimester of pregnancy, you can see how this was a concern for me, especially already not being able to see my feet. Haha The seats were okay, not the most comfortable but not horrible. They were a bit small compared to what I am used to at Landmarks, bigger city Cineplex, etc. Overall, it was a good experience though some work is needed.

I usely love going to the movies but this time I just inquired about what the best procedure is for going to a movie theater in a covd 19 atmosphere you are limited to I believe 50 people in one theater at a time so I came home and watched Netflix. Whenever we get through with covd and get back to normal I'll I'll most certainly go to a movie theater again.

I really enjoy this theatre, always have a great time there with my girlfriend. There is the AVX Section & the standard cinema section, both are good; that being said AVX is more comfortable, has better seats & spacing, though more pricey. Foods the same as any other Galaxy Cinemas though they have two other food vendors inside they are quite pricey. The arcade here is tons of fun, lots of games for the whole family. You can even earn prizes by gaining points (Theres a prize booth); The tokens you earn are all digital & you have to put money on your scene play card to be able to use the games beforehand. The only downfall is the parking as this Galaxy Cinemas is in the heart of downtown Peterborough its difficult to find parking outside & the only "parking lot" is the underground though sometimes its closed or its usually full which can become a hassle

Drink sizes have become crazy small and large popcorn with layered butter had one area of butter throughout with a good portion of burnt tasting popcorn. Not the value it once was and at the size of the large items they should be bringing back the free refill on them! Floor in theater was sticky and there was an odd smell

Far better than I expected. Saw Sisters with my fiancé and her friend and the theatre was quite nice. The auditorium was clean and the chairs were comfy. The sound and picture were excellent, but there was a weird blue dot on the very top right. It was present during the pre-show and previews so it must've been something on the screen itself. My only complaint with this theatre is that the washroom was not that clean, and only one of the five taps was working.

Honestly, every time I have gone to this move theatre I have never had problems. The staff beautiful and very assistive in creating a comfortable environment that I can actually not only have a good move experience but a great one. Once, I got a large pop corn and on my way to my seat I dropped the whole bag not only did the staff at concession give me a new bag but they also changed my seat so I wouldn't have to sit in the mess of popcorn that I caused. Honestly, always a great experience. Thank you very much Cineplex cast for making my movie experience and greater experience each and every time!

Teriable, Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough charges customers for tap water! They don't make you pay for the cup like someplaces 0.75 cents or so they charge you as if it were a pop, so could be 5.00 dollars or more for Peterborough tap water!!! Criminal. As well as everything being over priced.

Mediocre to poor night out. Seats are small with one arm per customer. Popcorn and drinks are overpriced on a scale you have to see to believe. You can't get popcorn without the "buttery topping". That is not the butter you pay extra for. It is the yellow coloured "stuff" already applied to the popcorn prior to getting the butter added. The old Paramount had more comfortable larger seats that offered two arms per seat.

I've been to this movie theater A LOT I never really have any problems when I go. Only time was when I was really young and tried going into a movie not rated for my age but that just shows there staff (at least at the time) cared enough to get me out of there. Lol. Overall this is a really good place, especially with the upgraded arcade area. I would recommend this place for your movie needs. Lol.

Well organized layout, nicely decorated cinema, there's even a play area for the kids to keep them entertained while you wait for the movie to start. Always playing the latest releases, convenient start times, some movies have standard showings and 3D depends upon which you want to watch.

It's really nice that Peterborough maintains a cinema in the downtown, instead of forcing a drive to the suburbs to sit in an impersonal theatre complex This is a good theatre. Clean, comfortable and of a good size. The arcade is reasonable, there's party rooms, preplanned event options and special features like the Met in HD, low-volume shows for parents with very young children, etc. A few of the surrounding restaurants have tie-ins with the theatre, which is helpful for a night out, and there's a decent middle eastern restaurant in the same building. It's expensive, as theatres are wont to be, but you don't feel like you're being ripped off as you would at a multiplex in, eg, Durham

Passable theatre. Decently clean but could use some upgraded seats in the smaller theatres. Main issues 1. Theatre lighting is quite low. This could be improved 2. Staff attitude (management direction) is focussed on being cheap which can ruin the experience. a. Received feedback that topping off popcorn is discouraged due to "health reasons". Completely makes zero sense. b. Hotdog buns all seem stale - likely because they pull them from the freezer (explained by a staff member who mentioned that they could not change the buns as all the rest were still frozen). For $4 a hotdog, fresh delivery of buns should be a given... Receiving a stale bun is just sad. On the positive side, the staff is trained to be friendly and accommodating within the rules set by management. A better focus on quality should be a management goal.

Recently went to see a 40 year old episode of Doctor Who. Usually when this theater shows vintage entertainment, it's at a reduced cost. Not this time it was 13.50 to get in. Usual concession stand, signs telling you what a bargain your getting, only 25 bucks for 2 pops and 1 popcorn. Buying a ticket, is not a friendly experience, if you aren't computer literate, as there is no staff to facilitate your purchase. I could have bought the DVD and a steak for about the same price, and next time I will.

Good place, BUT, I have yet to try and sneak my cheesy nachos in under my hat. The pop corn is a good substitute tho as long as you don't mind it getting stuck between your teeth. Most times I will bring a flossier but last time I for got so on the ride home I was literally shoving my both of my hands in my moth trying to get the friggen carnal to come out.

I'm not a big movie person, but it's always pretty nice when a release I'm interested in comes out to buy the tickets online, take a nice walk out to the theatre, get myself some snacks and settle in for viewing experience I would describe as comfortable. They could afford to cut back on the ads before the film though, I'm sure.

My fiance and I have made a point of seeing all of the Marvel movies here in 3D. There's a parking structure with an elevator right up to the theatre. The food is decent and there's an arcade to pass the time until your movie starts. The only complaint I have is that they put an end to the free refills. I really wish Disney hadn't decided to chibi the cup toppers, but I can't blame Galaxy for that...

I guess you cannot trust the Google search. When it says 'Standard' it doesn't mean you won't have to pay a premium price for a ticket when you arrive. Their excuse is that you can only look at their offerings on their website, but it makes me wonder where Google is getting its information. I would rather have easy access to accurate information. I think Cineplex could improve this so we can see that they are putting lackluster shows in their AVX rooms to charge premium prices without really offering anything more.

They honestly have the best popcorn ive ever had in my life. I go once a week to buy it even if im not watching a movie... I find sometimes the theatre floor is dirty but no one cleans up after themselves so its understandable. My only complaint is inconsistency with sound. Some screening rooms are really quiet and you can hear parts from other movies across the hall (not the avx room just regular screening rooms)

Good cinema, usually pretty busy. The staff are sometimes quite stressed but you can't really blame them. The washrooms are a huge mess sometimes, but you can't expect them to be magically clean with the traffic that comes in and out of that place. The food is expensive, but that's a cinema-wide thing. Galaxy Cinemas are OK.

It's a movie house!!! But it is well-organized. However .... It's very difficult to see when walking in to find a seat because it is very poorly lit in the actual viewing theatre. There are dim lights along the aisles and stairs but if you're not a frequent goer, it's a gamble finding the steps. Perhaps the lights need to be turned up a notch until the movie begins. More signage required regarding "which way to a specific theatre number" so you don't feel like you've just landed from outerspace standing there dazed. It still gets 4 ????

Nice place, but I have come to this conclusion. Unless it is a big blockbuster that needs a large screen, AVX or 3D, I am quite satisfied to watch from home. Picture and sound is great and NOBODY Is Crinkling their popcorn bag in my ear..Non Stop. Surely at the price you pay for 2 cents worth of popcorn kernels, they could develop a popcorn bag that doesn't make noise or at least reduced. Same with cellophane packaging. It should not be allowed. Anyway, my rant....Other than that, fine! Other than the people who incessantly talk throughout the whole movie....And don't dare say anything to them...They may be packing (not really, its Canada)

The location is very convenient for those who live/work in the downtown area or East City. My biggest issue with this theatre is how they show so many films in 3D and have few options in terms of regular showings. It's a really obvious money grab. Having a movie in 3D is not an "experience" you should be charging people extra for. It very often diminishes the film's enjoy-ability and makes certain scenes difficult to see, especially dark scenes. You guys really need to add more non-3D options (and no, adding 1 non-3D showing at 10:30 at night on a weekday doesn't count).

The staff are fine and very friendly. The projection is terrible: under-lighting films, muddy colour, eye-melting twitchy 3D and poor focus. Their new AVX might be better, but why are you paying extra for competent projection? EDIT: I have now seen Dune on AVX and on a standard screen at Galaxy. I haven't had a chance to compare in a long time. The AVX was decent, even good--like a good rep cinema. The standard showing was shamefully terrible. All the dark scenes were a monochrome grey mud. This is the theatre being cheap, or the chain. The one star is for the staff, who are nice folks doing their best in the current situation.

This was tough for me. I went to Galaxy cinemas when they first opened. It was awesome. I used to love it. But I hadn't gone in years until a few nights ago. It's changed. A lot. FOR THE BETTER. The staff is all very nice. Every single one of them. They were all very patient. I went with my 8 year old daughter, so that's a big deal for me. The prices of food and drinks tend to be better, with prices roughly the same for candy and chocolate as at places like Sobeys. The bathrooms are cleaner than I remember which was really nice. The arcade changed for the better. The games are different but still great. The biggest change here is loading up a card with money to use on the machines instead of tokens, which is a really smart idea. No more heavy pockets of quarters or tokens. The food from pizza pizza in Galaxy was good. Fresh made when I ordered. Again the staff was very nice and friendly. I couldn't have had a better time. It was amazing. And for my daughter's first time ever, it was magical. Cheers.

I would rate less if it were an option, TRASH!! Period. The food is way over priced. Two small popcorns from the kid combo cane to 22.50$ which is insane. The candy is 7$ or more when you can go and buy it from the buck store for less. The tickets were pretty good, which was the only good part. Great local theater and the 'only game in town'. Also, being 'cineplex' it has alternative things besides movies occasionally (wrestling, video games, opera etc..). Another great thing is the Family Favourites- this is a previously ran movie that they show on Saturday mornings for 3 bucks (please donate a few dollars as well????). Often they will do timely movies (Polar Express 3D for Christmas, Hop for Easter etc). Not all of the movies are old either. Just saw Crimes of Grindelwald on the weekend (missed it on the first run) and for a few dollars I can take the kids on a cold, cold day and still get the big screen experience.

Ticket office is never open they make you go into the popcorn lineup, then to another lineup, then the lineup to get into the show, then to watch commercials, and then to have the commercials so loud it blows your ears then finally the movie. Terrible experience trying to buy tickets! The machines do not work when gift cards are used for payment, so the regular admission booth must be used. Watched my poor kid try to win a prize in their Games Room, after trying for 15 min, he left with a sad frown on his face, gamed looked like it was set up by a Carnival Pro, Rigged! Even when he spun the wheel and landed on the MAXIMUM points the machine never calculated them, prompted him spin again. At that point we asked a staff member to come over for a look, he viewed where our spin landed, said yes I see and he offered us a free game...How about giving us the prize we would have won! Went to see F9 with my kids and the staff are NOT following covid rules they posted. We had to pre-pick our seats to ensure social distancing and the staff let the people around us move around so we didn't have the space we were ensured we have... so why make everyone pre-pick seats? UGH.

This is a movie theatre, so I know it is what it is. However, I've never been welcomed or assisted with enthusiasm in any way. If you need assistance, good luck! Everyone is usually late, and the sound needs work. I used to be able to hear a lot, but now it's awful

We went to downton abbey it was great but the music was painfully loud .I now have a buzz in my ears. The movie trailers we worse I will stay home and rent from now on .I was nice to get out but sad for all with hearing aids ????????????????????????????????????

This is a nice cinema in downtown Peterborough. Plenty of underground parking which is free if you get your ticket scanned in the theatre. Wheelchair accessible. I think there are 11 separate theatres here. A range of food and an arcade for the kids.

Compared to the small town theatre I grew up with this place is incredible. I love the arcade that is inside and they have lots of options for snacks and beverages. Also a lot of different theatres so you wont miss the latest releases.

Even though we had reserved seats- a couple adults and several small kids sat directly in the row behind us. I don’t consider that social distancing and the theatre should have made sure people were spread out. They surly had enough staff to do that. I will not return until Covid conditions improve.

Unfortunately arrived 15 minutes early only to endure non-stop ads blasting at incredible ear- splitting volume. At last, 2.10 pm and movie time, but no such luck - 10 more minutes of audio advertising torture ! If I ever go again, will be 10 minutes late, and with ear plugs. Very low class.

Good arcade and comfortable seating. They even have a ticket option that you can pick your assigned seat ahead of time so you can ensure your whole group can sit together.

Good selection of current movies including 3D, comfortable seating, and friendly staff make movie viewing a positive experience. Only real concern is the typically high prices at the concession stands, same as at all theatres.

Concession stand is waaaaaay overpriced with no variety. They were out of stock on most things. The free parking machine to validate parking was broken and when we enquired about it, they said it had been broken for a week, and what did we want them to do about it? Otherwise, the staff that directed us to our theatre was really nice and the social distancing was good with great movie and thankfully they did have quieter sound since the theaters are at half capacity. There wasn't much staff working there though. As the only theatre in town, we will return, but won't go to the concession stand and will know not to park in the underground parking as the free parking machine is broken and no one cares.

Not a very good theater. The padding in the seats are completely gone so your back is resting right on the frame not to mention the seats are not designed very well to begin with for where your head goes and the angle it puts it at. The screen itself is also dirty looking and has marks in it so you see nice black dots whenever there is a lighter background in a scene. I guess that's one way to try to make people pay more to get the "nicer" seats..... it also smelled terrible, like rotten stinky socks and shoes.

Absolutely shocking prices..two of us who are seniors had to pay $37 for tickets 1 small popcorn and 1 large popcorn...i went to buy a can of coca cola from the vending machine ...i never saw such small cans before... and they were priced at $5 each I will stick with Netflix and wait for the movies in the theater to show up on the Netflix rosters...

Went to see an IMAX movie and wanted to redeem scene points to pay. Do it yourself kiosk didn’t accept it and after a long wait in a second line the regular kiosk didn’t accept it either so we had to pay. Also we went to Yo-Yo’s during the movie and were not given the $5 scene member discount, and when we mentioned it Monique told us we could either wait for her to get a manager since she neglected to give us the discount or not get the refund at all. Since we didn’t want to miss the movie we paid $15 for frozen yogurt and overall did not feel like valued scene members. Very unhappy.

There are only a few good cinema rooms there. All the other are too small, or you can hear noises from other movies. The cheap industrial food and popcorn are is sooooo expensive. For the price of 1 popcorn 1 pop and 1 mnms you can watch 2 movies! Too expensive.

This theatre is much like the films I seem to see with my son: big,noisy and dumb. I still give it 5 ???? because that's what cinema is today and sometimes that's exactly what I need. I'll be seeing Godzilla by the way.

I love going to the movies and the Galaxy is great! BUT....the cost of snacks is getting RIDICULOUS!!! I realize that's how they make their $ but there has to be a cut-off point somewhere! I don't want to have to take out a loan just to have a night out at the show!!!

The staff are nice, but it doesn't make up for costs to value. We don't need all the extra goodies in a movie (3D, etc) it's not exactly great for developing eyes so why do most theatre screen need to be upgraded? Furthermore, they are gouging the arcade. $1.50 for 30 seconds a play is absurd, when adults were kids it was $.25-.50 cents for sometimes up to hours of play. Factor in that most high point reward machines are broken, the space for the arcade appears to shrink, the claw machines are rigged to lose *I don't care that I won, I care that they losen the crane on purpose*. How are kids suppose to live as we did when we were young when 2x Popcorn and drinks with 1x small candy is $30! Like really!? Minimum wage didn't go up to $30 / hour so what's the deal? I sick of this place, it's the last time my kids are going, SCENE points was the only thing that had us go, and now that's jacked up too - it's simply not worth the value. I have darn near just as big a screen at home, and concessions are WAY cheaper.

Great movies, delicious food but expensive. It is in a very good part of town so you don't have to worry about your kids walking to the store to get snacks to avoid the overpriced movie popcorn.

Have been many times to the show. OF course the effects and picture great (that is what got the 2 stars). Expensive, and purchased the combo with the 'free movie rental'. 1st time never rcvd the code, 2nd time code didn't work, then 3rd time code didn't work. Contacted support to be told that there was nothing they could do as code was over 2 months. I said that last code was well under 3 months and she said 30 days. Codes never worked from the day I rcvd them. Last 4 movies rented off the site all froze/buffered about 50 times during each movie/error with website and was not able to watch. Glad there are other options to rent movies. I would look into your options. Stay safe.

This was my first visit and found it a decent theatre. What struck me most and foremost was the mess left behind by patrons, real pigs - sorry. Second, there is no significant senior pricing for Sunday matinees. A $6.50 admission price for seniors on Sundays at noon would me more in line with my experience.

Great movie theater. Terrible start times and parking time allowed. Show posted to start at 3:35. We entered parking at 2:55. Show started at 3:55. Only 3 hours allowed to park from time of entry. Too many commercials and b.s. prior to feature. Big problems getting out of parking in Peterborough Sq due to elapsed parking time. Not a happy customer.

I love going here, with someone else or with kids...lots of screen options, underground parking so nice in winter, cool in summer... Lots of options at the arcade to keep kids (or adult kids!) occupied until their show starts...lots of food/drink options nearby, staff are good, either get tickets onli e before or at the kiosk onsite - recommended!

For the 3rd time the showtimes on the web site were not correct. First time we went to another show, second time we came earlier and just missed the previews. It's been about 6 months and I forgot so I missed my show. I did get a refund on my popcorn and drink, the ppl were very nice but come on this should not keep happening! Also since we were last there you now have to bring your parking stub with you to be validated. Didn't find that out until the elevator was on the second floor.

So I have been here multiple times, first of all they do not keep track of people going to each movie there are countless times I have either gone and had awful crowed (too many people) seating or gotten there are it was sold out which is awful because you then have a lot of people coming to see the same movie and there is no where to see if it is sold out ( keep in mind we had went 1 hour early multiple times) Overall I have not had very many good experiences here and would not recommend.

Screaming yelling walking infront of screen kid wrecked infinity war for me and staff were called 3 times early in the movie but horrible child end equally horrible parent were not escourted out of the theater until about halfway through the almost three hour movie so the first one hour or hour and a half we're totally distracted by the kid yelling randomly and walking in front of the screen or the parent did nothing and the audience shushed and eventually shouted at the parent to control the child and that we were here to watch the movie not their kid people went to grab and complain to a staff member several times staff came in the parent seem to control the child for a brief time but then that the child range freely yelling and walking in front of the screen staff eventually escorted him out but I will never go back to Galaxy Peterborough especially after driving 45 minutes from Bobcaygeon and wasting my time and money for theater that can't have the common courtesy to ask or disturbing patrons off-premises immediately
