Staff behind the snack bar seemed confused, but eventually got things straightened out. Theater 4 was a little loud for a kids movie. When asked if volume could be lowered was told it was fine. Many parents asking same of volume. No manager available. The movie was good with headphones to quiet.

Which automatically gave us the impression that it might be and that we just didn't notice initially when we purchased our tickets. So that was a little confusing and then disappointing lol

Visited yesterday with my niece and nephew to see Jungle Cruise - the sound was super loud in one of the theatres but the staff were very helpful in getting us into another movie. Please recognize the greeter and young guy that helped us out, kids loved the movie and we had a great time.

Staff are usually really helpful and friendly. The concession prices are horrendously expensive though. Took my 2 kids and our small popcorn/drink medium popcorn/drink and large popcorn/drink was almost $40. That's more than the ticket prices. Completely ridiculous. We love going to the movies but will stick to going to the drive in which costs less.

Who doesnt love a good evening out at the movies! Took the kids to see Frozen 2. They loved it! Theater was fairly clean. Seats still comfy. Food was good but expensive! Was twice as much as the tickets to get in! Still a good experience but may go to the movies on a full stomach next time.

Never have an issue getting a decent seat at this location. If the movie you are seeing is playing in cinema 4, I would recommend just waiting until the movie is released and watching it at home (the screen is incredibly small).

Sadly this theatre isn't being maintained well. The washroom smells and obviously hasn't been cleaned for a long time. The dust was thick on the toilet paper roll holders and my shoes stuck to the floor when I walked. People were friendly and helpful.

Went to the cinema with two of my friends and while we were watching the movie my friend dropped her phone under the seat and my other friend turned on her flashlight to find the phone and after searching we couldn't find it so we decided to find it when the lights turned back on and someone reported us for having our flashlights on and one of the employees very rudely told us if we had our flashlights on again we would be kicked out. Keep in mind we were in the corner at the very back of the cinema. This was very rude and the employee should have asked if we had our flashlights on or something. For all he knew we might have needed that phone for something very important or we could have lost something and needed to go because of a emergency. I would give a 0/5 rating but need at least 1 star to post a review.

Nice little theatre, does get busy on Friday and Saturday. Starbucks in there but it's just drip coffee. Frozen yogurt and the usual theatre food. Lots of option to eat around in the area though. Ticket counter isn't really evident at the location but lots of machines to buy tickets, or just buy on your phone and they scan that. Easy peasy.

Brought my son to the theater for the first time tonight (he's almost 5) . I was going to order online but thought to just buy tickets when we get there , checked availability before I left my house 10 minute drive. I got there and she told me I could only buy 3D tickets. I wasnt going to disappoint my son for his all time favourite movie so I agreed . We got popcorn for our movie, added butter for $1, it smelt and tasted like melted plastic. Played the arcade racing games which the stearing seemed off. As we finished the racing game waited for the guy to accept our tickets and there was no one coming to our assistance, we ended up missing a chance to get good seats because we waited for the people to stopped their chat behind the snack counter and check our tickets. After the movie, The claw machine ate $5 of my change and when I called over a staff member for assistance they just looked at us laughed and kept talking between each other so we walked out because my son started crying , all he wanted was to get his baby brother a stuffy from the movie theater because he couldnt come too (too young) . Dont think we will ever go back

Unfortunately whoever picks the movies to be played must not know much about what people want to see... such a poor selection, explains why they had to build another cineplex in Barrie. What a waste for Orillia. Not a single potential Oscar nominee film plays at this theatre... clearly this Cineplex is for children... bring back cinema 4 so the adults can enjoy some actual artistic cinema. See ya in Barrie!

Great place to take your kids, you can book premium seats now. Expensive but they take scene cards and you get discounts and earn rewards towards your next movie. Fun place to go there is arcade games you can play afterwards with your kids.

It was nice to be able to take the kids out to a big screen movie again. They really enjoyed Jungle Cruise, I don't recommend it for young kids due to the violence and scary scenes.

I left my keys in the seating at the show. However it is impossible to speak with a Person to ask them to check. When you call you get caught in a "please press" loop. By coincidence I found the manager's number and could only leave a message to which someone will respond in one business day. I think it is ridiculous that any public business operation does not have a mechanism in place where you can actually speak with a person.

This theatre is clean and has good facilities. The bathrooms are sometimes messy. The sound in the theatre was way too loud and they didn't turn it down after we pointed it put. They have the best frozen yogurt! They have a family/handicap washroom.

Terrible place!!! Brought my kids there 20 mins after the last movie started and sat there banging on the door for 5 mins in front of 5 employees before the manager decided to notice us. He opened the door to tell us that they close at 8, even though the movie started at 8:40 then corrected himself after I called him out on it. He said all the tills were closed. So how do people buy any snacks or refreshments 5 minutes after the movie starts?! I figured you could pay for a movie even if there was 10 mins left?!?! Nice to see customer service is alive and well at Galaxy just like it is everywhere else. This movie theater gets 2 thumbs down! ????????For the $50 I was about to spend, I'll just pay my unlimited internet bill and stream better movies, buy some dollar store candy for a quarter of the price and enjoy the comfort of my own home without supporting a useless, fascist staff of teenage slackers who's vocabulary doesn't include the words "customer service" or "respect." Bite me Galaxy, your cemetary plot is ready for you right next to Blockbuster! Too bad the rating system doesn't include negative digits!

Great staff. Manager on night of jan 5th was horrible. Been to this theater many times with the great enjoyment. The concession stand close 1 he into a 3hr movie. Again, leadership on Jan 5th was very poor. Talked to the supervisor directly when trying to buy an item at 11pm and seemed like I was hassling him to spend more money. Very poor management...

It's not the newest Galaxy I've been to, or the most up to date, though you do have the option to pay for premium seats. That being said, it's one of the rare theatres with a Yogen Fruz still in it, which scores massive Brownie points for me.

We were treated very well however the hydro went out and so we had lovely popcorn and drinks but weren't able to see the movie. We were given a voucher but since we live out of town I don't know when we'll get back. The staff was great though.
