The Grace Center is an amazing place with one heck of a group of staff! The program is well designed and carried out. Every person at this facility are compassionate, non-judging, understanding, and overall are really special. The center has a gym (treadmills, ellipticals, weight machine; badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc), an art room with full access, a small indoor gardening section, computer room, music room (with some instruments), a Jacuzzi tub, and a meditation room. There is a communal lounge with a kitchenette, and tv with cable, and another smaller lounge with tv and no cable , but you can watch movies on DVD. You have your own private bedroom with your own bathroom that has a shower. The rooms are really comfortable, but the beds may be a bit narrow for some. Three meals are provided each day with additional snacks. Each day consists of a well-laid out schedule (ex: 7am wake up, 8am breakfast, 9-4 class, 5pm supper, 7pm meeting, 11pm lights out). The food was best kind, and you can bring certain snacks of your own in too. Always tea, coffee, milk and juice available.
I highly recommend the Grace Center if you are looking for some help and tools in getting sober.
