The only thing I can say about this store is it's a fair size for the area. There is not enough staff or cashiers. Can never find anybody to help and there's usually only one cashier on. There is a better selection of stock in the Bay Roberts store, which is smaller. I can seldom find anything I'm looking for there.

Well first of all there was like 10 people in the line up and their was 1 cashier on cash. He called for another cashier. Nobody came, after about 10 minutes in line up a cashier shows up rolles her eyes and gets right crooked about the lineup and she didnt want to be their clearly......????

It's a dollar store, what do you expect? For real though, it's always fun to pop in. They have some cool stuff The store's pretty clean, although it can be a bit disorganized. Parents here tend to let their children roam around, so there's pretty much always something opened or broken in the toy aisle.

I feel bad because I never write a bad review about anywhere! I went to this store at least 4 times and every time I visited there was extremely long line ups. I watched several people leave because of the line ups. I would assume the store is financially so well with that many people coming through the door. Hire more staff please!!!

Employees at the cash were friendly and courteous. I swear these stores attract people with no respect for directional arrows placed on the floor. Even when told they were going the wrong way, just shook their head and said don't care (this was a woman in her 50's at least). Oh well, takes all kinds.

Cheap stuff, same quality as Walmart only cheaper which is great. Staff is usually friendly but there is a downfall with having 6 or so cash registers but only having 1 cash open. I've seen lines of more than 15 people where they will then only call 1 other cashier. Hire. More. People.

Dollarama in Port Hawkesbury does carry some great things customers need but, the staff never seems to smile and the manager Veronica is not the friendliest,either.Less than five years ago,I walked into this store and asked Veronica where the tarps were? I asked her nicely and she was so rude and nasty and actually raised her voice to me! I should have reported her to the corporate main office for verbal harassment.THAT'S A GOOD WAY TO LOSE A CUSTOMER. I think her personality is not manager like and i think they need a better manager.Maybe,then the employees will be happier and smile. They need to widen the aisles more and have more cash registers,too.

Find this store at times frustrating. My last 3 visits just a couple of days prior to Christmas and during Christmas there was no one checking customers out. Only self checkout available. Twice there were lineups in excess of 20 ... wasn't just me frustrated!!!
