First the good things, popcorn is great, you get mild alcoholic drinks like beer.. The bad part, seats are bad, can't recline and are hard and uncomfortable. The projection room had a very bright light which was also being projected onto the patrons. I was in it's direct path and it was hot. Not sure what it was, guess sombody just left a light on in the projection room, but whatever it was, it spoiled the viewing experience of a few people who were right in it's path.

People are nice, even when it gets busy. The new "All Seat Reserve" bit if a pain. It's creating a lot of lineups (= takes more time to get into the theatre = grumpier people), so if you're running late and like to see the previews, good luck! As with all corporate theaters, food is expensive. But large pop & popcorns get free refills. They still have matinees, even after schools are back in session, so it's nice if you're wanting to see a non-crowded movie ????

generally clean and one of the busiest cinemas in the region. Always had the best sound and picture quality (ever since the Silver city days) and consists of the only digital imax screen in the area (aka liemax, to compete against the other landmark's extra and cineplex's ultraavx). People should come early before Showtime's as sometimes parking can get pretty full (shared with East Side Mario's)

I prefer landmark theatre's over Cineplex, the seating is better and it's a more enjoyable experience I have found. The lines can get long at times but I have never waited more than 20 minutes. For the people who are complaining about the mess, it's hard to keep on top of when everyone leaves their garbage laying around. I understand it's their job to clean it but any decent human being should be taking their garbage with them on the way out.

Best prices in town, $21 got me and my friend admission. The seats are nice and wide, comfy too. The staff keep the place pretty tidy too. All and all it's a good place to take a date to catch a flick.

Love the IMAX - Video is far superior to AVX. The theatre is clean, spacious, and there's always something interesting on display in the lobby. I wish there was a better tie-in between the Landmark phone app ("Atom") and using pre-purchased movie passes for getting tickets in advance. The Landmark movie cards are poorly designed - staff have to press the barcode reader to the card which only seems to work 30% of the time. Landmark could learn a thing or two from Cineplex's app and its implementation with the Scene points affinity program. Still, it's a lovely theatre.

Decent theater. Now offers all reserved seating which is great. Prices are pretty standard, they offer an IMAX theater which, ateast to me, looks to be a standard sized screen with a slightly better projector and improved sound but I'll take it. Plenty of parking with a Starbucks, Boston Pizza and East Side Mario's nearby for AIR down meals. There are also various other fast food and sit down restaurants in the area if looking for dinner before or after your movie.

Surprisingly clean..when I enter the room I smell nothing. Employee is very nice, they provide close caption in cup holder, works perfect. The size of the screen is huge! Soon will be returning for IMax so I will update my comments on that soon..

This place has been my home theatre for like going on 10 years. I remember when the giant batman still hung from the cieling. Landmark bought them out and now it's fancy. Doesn't have the adjustable seats like Cineplex yet, and doesn't serve alcohol, but Landmark is compatible with the Atom app and Cineplex still isn't, so Landmark has my loyalty. Banker style lineup is super efficient, as are the ticket machines at the front if you wanna skip the food and go right to the movie.

Standard movie theatre, long lines for popcorn but that is to be expected. Floor was quite dirty and sticky but I'm sure there's not much that can be done about that. Seats were comfy but not much leg room; I kept accidentally kicking the person in front of me. Same with the person behind me, kept getting kicked.

This isn't our favourite theater, as we prefer the Waterloo location. When we arrived, the film we wanted to see was designated as the lower sound, lights on version (for babies and parents) which wasn't advertised online. We chose to see another film. The concessions were efficient but the buttery topping and napkins were out in one station, so we had to use the one on the opposite side of the theatre and come back before we could enter our theatre. There was a feedback/buzzing noise in the theatre. Overall, it was a $60 experience and we don't feel there was value for the money.

Went to go see a movie on Jan 13. I was disgusted at how dirty the seats were in theatre 1. I could not completely enjoy the movie knowing I was sitting in a really dirty chair. It was really disappointing and I highly doubt that I'll be returning to that location because of it.

I have seen better quality on pirated movie than this. Projectionist who set this movie for playing didnt even bother checking alignment. This movie is probably shot on 35mm and is not ideal for IMAX projection. I brought that to a staff member’s attention who told me that he will notify manager about this. This may be a good theatre for IMAX movie. Prices for admission is okay. Landmark theatre in London, ON has recliner seats. Seats here were regular and not comfortable. I had movie night passes which came with drink and popcorn package. The staff charged me for butter. I was like seriously its like having charged for ketchup while ordering a burger. Meanwhile they have self serve butter dispenser close to straw side. So I paid for a staff to put butter on it. I would say it was disaster experience.

Unlike other theatres I can actually buy regular tickets here on a consistent basis. Tickets are very expensive now and we don't need all the super screen or plushy chair upgrades. We need reasonably priced tickets so we can come more often. Well done Landmark!!

Generally good movie theatre, like most Landmarks. The only issues I've experienced here are that a lot of times the Atom pre-purchased concessions line isn't really well attended to. Also, if they're not going to have something in stock (e.g. frozen yogurt) - they should have a sign somewhere that is visible to customers so they don't stand in line for a long time and then find out they can't get what they want. Otherwise everyone is super friendly though, and the theatre is clean.

New seating plans take worry out of buying tickets. I'm the sort who's always wondering what sort of seat I'll get. If theatre is empty people still move a seat or two over, but if it fills up they stick to their numbers.

Roomy Seating, the 3D shows are spectacularly realistic. My friend and I attended one of the Hobbit (Lord of the Rings) movies here. We are both big truck drivers. Heavy weights and we found ourselves dodging spears and nearly shifting the isle of seats trying to dodge flying items on screen. It was spectacularly realistic. Like your actually in the movie. Sound is spectacular as well. It's not the newest theater in the area but it's still my favorite to see a movie at. It's close to the hotels and lots of great food establishments close by so you can make an evening of it.

$50 for pop corn and drink with one slice of pizza? Not to mention I could hear to movie playing neighboring theatre and somebody thought it would be a good idea to install a motion sensor with a blinking green and red light right in view of people trying to watch a movie. There is really no social distancing either and made me feel uncomfortable, no chance I'll be going back here anytime soon.

This place is great, but perhaps for the wrong reasons. Even on a Tuesday night there are no long line ups and there are ample seats in the house. Since Chapters and East Side Mario's closed there are never any parking issues. It is also great that they have the IMAX theatre there and it is close to the Expressway and 401. The staff are friendly enough and the facilities are reasonably clean. I hope it stays around, but the immediate isn't doing too well and all cinemas have attendance issues because of quick releases to video and also the availability of illegal downloads.

We had an incident where one of my family members had an issue with poor lighting in the theater. I went directly to speak to a manager just to let them know of the issue, and they went the whole nine yards, they profusely apologized (to me, I didn't want my family member embarrassed), they filled out a whole report, made sure we were okay when we left the theater and even called the next day to make sure he was doing okay.

It's the only place where we can see Bollywood movies in Kitchener Waterloo region. Just like regular good multiplex. The only thing I don't like is the seats. They doesn't have much leg space and not much comfortable. Other than the that, this place is a very good option for both Hollywood and Bollywood movies.

Never going to Landmark again. Was last customer in the theatre to leave. Left an orange hand bag by accident with some valuables. Realize that’s my fault, but surely a Landmark staff member would be next in the theatre to clean up and find the bag. Theatre has been no help. They have security cameras.. I’ve repeatedly asked them to look at the cameras, but no help at all. Called head office, all they’ll do is forward and email to the theatre. Friends daughter works there and said a lot of staff have stolen items left in theatres. Considering legal action if they don’t do more. It’s called Duty of Care. It’s a reasonable request to check security cameras or follow up if potentially staff are not turning items over to in lost and found, which probably happens quite often in a theatre.

Like any movie theater the food is expensive, but it's not like I go to the movies every week so I don't mind paying the extra to get quality popcorn. Movie theater is the only one which I find spacious, clean and comfortable. Would be more ideal if the buses ran out here at a later time to make it more convenient to get home.

I frequent this theatre because of the convenient location restaurant and highway nearby. I find the popcorn is stale and the temperature is uncomfortable very hot even in the summer that's why I'm giving them 3 stars. Costco right beside the theatre offers a voucher deal for 2 people with food and a kids for cheaper then purchasing at the theatre.

What an interesting layout for a movie theatre! Lines move quickly at concession, quick enough you forget the premium prices that are on theatre foods. The arcade and play area could be bigger and more inviting, and the lounge area could be cozier and more furnished. I can’t get over how the male and female bathrooms are on opposite ends.

My son, visiting from Hong Kong was quite taken aback at this new format and didn't like the idea either. I find the place smells like wet musty carpets. When I got to my seat, the fabric on the arms of the chair was also dirty where my hands rested while seated. I'm a self admitted clean freak so this may not bother others but it did me. Other then that, I had no complaints and the staff seemed friendly on both of my visits to this theater.

Cheapest theater in the area. Morning movies (before 12:00) and Tuesday movies $6.99. IMAX movies on Tuesday $11.99. MUCH cheaper than Cineplex. They also re-show old films like The Matrix for $5.00! If you go at the right time there wont be a line up at the concession. I go to this theater almost every weekend and purchase my tickets online ahead of time to get the best seats. Overall, Landmark has huge screens and great picture and sound especially with IMAX. Food is great with free drink and popcorn refills. Only downfall is the lack of legroom when trying to get to your seat, but besides that it's a great theater.

This is my favourite local movie theatre. They have a large number of screens so you get a good variety of movies playing and the reserved seating makes things so much simpler. It's a little bit further of a drive for me but I find that the service is better than the Galaxy in the mall and the prices are actually lower. The only down side is there's no points or rewards system for frequent visits or anything

Landmark Cinemas in general provide a fantastic experience. They're not as fancy as a Cineplex VIP theatre, but their App makes it a great experience. Reserve your seats ahead of time and arrange for your snacks to be ready ahead of time. You can see a blockbuster on opening night without having to worry about getting in early and hoping to find a decent spot to sit.

We love to go to the movies! And between this theatre and the other one in town I prefer this one only because the seating is a little more confortable. The food variety is okay, some choices like popcorn, pop, candy, hot dogs, pizza, frozen yogurt and fries. Other theatres have many more choices which I do prefer BUT this is good as well. The staff is always friendly and we have never had any problems with them. As well picking your own seats is really nice just because then you know you are guaranteed that spot with your friends or family. Prices are always expensive but I know that the concession stand is where they make most of their money. You can always buy cheaper tickets with food and drink at costco which is fantastic!

Showed up 30 minutes before show time. No live humans behind counter to get a ticket or ask a question. Asked a person in line to help me get my ticket from the "Box Tablet" (2 out of 6 were working). Got to the seat option and the screen changed because the time frame I was trying to get into became "sold out" before I was able to finish. Apparently I could have stood in the concession stand line to purchase a ticket too. So ???? my next trip to the theater will be MAYBE NEXT YEAR ????

I really enjoy Landmark Cinemas and this location is no exception. However, the IMAX screen here is not the real deal. It's pretty much a normal sized screen that's curved. IMAX is supposed to be much taller. 100% not worth the extra cost. If you're going to see a movie here, save yourself some money by going to see the movie on one of their regular screens.

Great experience overall. We purchased online and picked up from a kiosk when we arrived. We went during the week so it wasn’t busy. You prebook your seat prior to going for social distancing.

I recently was potentially unable to attend a movie that I had purchased online tickets for due to a situation beyond my control. Worrying that I may not receive a refund for missing the movie I called Landmark Kitchener. A worker named Yvonne answered the phone and asked that I come to theater when possible and they would sort out the matter either a full refund or passes for the next time. Fortunately I made it to the movie on time but was just amazed at the wonderful customer service. I have been to another theater brand and had the same issue their response was too bad and no refund. I will continue to support Landmark Kitchener because they do care about their customers and want the best experience for them.

This cinema doesn't deserve the 4+ rating it has now. It's dirty, dirty floors, dirty chairs, it stinks like a piggery. They don't clean up the place after each session as they're supposed to. But probably even worse is that today they rolled the 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' in 3d format instead of regular per schedule. There were only a few spectators who didn't really get what was going on, it's a cartoon right?! but when I stepped outside to inform about the issue, they said it was 'impossible' and that the 'movie's style' was like that. It's a blatant lie Landmark!

Staff is friendly, prices are comparable to galaxy cinemas, and they also have less expensive tickets on Tuesdays. No scene card program affiliation, however. The theaters themselves are a little dated, the screens and sound system is alright, but the seating is old. The IMAX at this location has the higher quality picture and sound, but is the size of a normal theater or smaller, making it lose much of its splendor compared to the larger IMAX theaters I have been to. This location also has a New York Fries!

I went to see the movie The Joker I always like to show up a bit early so I can get my popcorn and drink I decided to go and get more of a refill on drink and I have to wait 40 minutes inline there was only three people working at the cashier on a Saturday night and then what makes it worse the managers helps people who are done watching a movie and they want a refill so they can take home while me waiting in line which I felt that's not right people who are still watching the movie should get looked after the first then anyone who's taking a refill for home could wait in line they have no hurry

I would have given 5 stars to this theatre since we like going there but noticed few times now that airconditioning is not on. Theatre is packed no air on. Very uncomfortable. Don't forget free refill if you buy a large popcorn. This is a big plus since everything is expensive. Free Refill kinda compensate high prices of going to the movies.

Comfortable seating, value pack for $80 is a great deal, and seeing movies there is great. Just wish they had more food offerings. Knocked off a star for that. I remember way back when this place went by a different name, and they had tons of concession offerings. Everything from the regular popcorn, to personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut and even specialty coffee. They used to have special plastic buckets of popcorn too that you could refill. Miss those days. Having New York Fries there is awesome, but wish there were some others, especially better pizza options. Not a fan of Pizza Pizza. Would love to see Pizza Hut brought back in, especially for those personal pizzas. They also changed their nacho cheese sauce recipe a year ago, which my nephew says makes him feel sick. Wish they had the nacho cheese sauce Cineplex has. They should also renovate the outside too. They don't even list what movies they're playing on the marquee.

I give it a to two and a half because the food itself isn't that good. This is twice I had the nachos and cheese and the nachos were stale tasting. Most of the time the popcorn tastes like it's left over from day to two days after. Your paying too much money for the product that they're selling their and the flavor isn't good

I initially doubted landmark cinemas but this location turned my view around. Great place, clean and seats were very comfortable & spacious. Our movie didn't start cause the screen projector bulb wasn't working I believe. The manager at the time was Zack and he handled the situation exceptionally. Not one person in the theater was upset while Zack explained the situation and informed everyone how he'll fix it (provided two movie vouchers each, one for a replacement for the current Movie and the other for our trouble.) I have worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years and I was impressed on how he and landmark handled the situation quickly and efficiently. The rest of the staff were also nice and welcoming. I will definitely continue watching movies at Landmark cinemas!

Went to see Avengers End Game on Saturday at 11pm. Dude in front of us was in his phone. We told him to get off it multiple times. He didn't listen. Towards the end of the movie someone spoiled the movie by yelling out what was gonna happen. Worse movie experience ever!

Last night was my first experience at this or any Landmark Cinemas. I purchased my ticket online to see Avengers on a IMAX screen for which I paid an extra $5. When I got seated I realized it is not a IMAX screen in the least. It is a regular movie screen maybe a little larger but doubtful. I've been to the real IMAX. A IMAX screen is a large dome shaped screen up above you and you have to recline to watch the feature. I was expecting a true IMAX experience and was horribly disappointed. I can't believe they are allowed to advertise that as IMAX. I feel I was duped into paying the extra. Be warned, this is not an IMAX screen.

This theatre has forgotten how to offer decent service. I don't feel like going back. They were out of root beer and that's the only pop I will order there. Made me cranky. First world problem, yes! But come on, how hard is it to keep it in stock. If I'm paying $20 for sugar water and a few corn kernels, I have an expectation. Candy racks were locked closed. I was told, "those are all counted". What the heck does that even mean? I don't care. It's 5pm on Saturday. We happened to have 8 kids along and had to go back and forth to an open rack 4 tils down. Total chaos. Frustrating. No apology. Lame. It's really a simple ( or should be) thing. I know, I am annoyed by this snack bar experience and maybe it shouldn't matter that much, but... cusmer service training seems lax, screens and seats are not as good some other theatres. Maybe this theatre should lower it's prices and will join the ranks of other older discount theatres.

So this time they didn't allow us to buy popcorn or drinks and go inside because we should be wearing masks all the time. Great disappointment . We couldn't finish the movie because of thirst so we left . The funny thing is that in the theater there were nobody except me and my husband and another guy who was setting far away ! How could covid spread in such wide spaces between us? Just ridiculous.

Missed by 2 star as the seats are not at all comfortable as compared to Cineplex. The leg room is the worst. If you stretch your legs little bit you end up hitting the front seat. No points system as well. I would prefer Cineplex as they have scene points and comfortable seating as well.

Landmark cinemas don't offer a lot of fancy things available at the other guys, at least in KW. That said I prefer Landmark over the other guys any day. They are less expensive, the quality of product is excellent, this location has an IMAX screen. It just needs the free style coke machine like in Waterloo.

First time there. Got my movie tickets at Costco .. way cheaper then online or buying them there. Bathrooms were clean. Gave 4 stars because when we were ordering our popcorn and treats the guy at the counter asked if we wanted butter on our popcorn it was an extra $1 each .. we said sure .. then when we grabbed our napkins and straws and saw that they have a butter machine station that you can get free butter. So I spent an extra $4 for no reason. Pretty sneaky!!
