I went to this concert venue with a few friends to see USS (sold-out show), and it was amazing! There are booths near the back where the bar is for those that want seats and the upstairs has good view of the stage as well. Also, coat check is upstairs. Very nice venue and convenient parking lot behind it!

Jeremy S

Not much to compare to locally. They get decent shows but do a poor job marketing themselves, and promoting the shows. The outside of the building needs serious attention.

Nice venue for all, Best in the area

Alright venue for a concert. Good lighting, but acoustics aren't all that great. Beer selection is terrible unless you want Bud or Coors light.. they need to get some better craft beers.

Trevor McLarnon

Pretty good venue for concerts. Massive bathrooms so there was never a wait. Not great beer selection though.

Neil Naik

Great staff. Good music. Everyone was kind. The only problem is the lack of free parking around the area but that's a minor issue

Jordan Grenke

Perfect venue. Traditional and crowd friendly.

Adrian Bolstridge

Speakers on ground so try to not stand in front of them if you value your hearing. Decent sound quality. Zero air circulation so after a couple of hours the place gets rather toasty.

Chris Masci

Nice place for concerts, poor beer selection.

Nice venue but difficult to get eyes on the stage if you aren't 6ft tall. Would be nice if it slanted more. Not bad space-wise. Went here to see USS and sound was good but didn't see much

This was an interesting little venue. The layout of the place was great and for my first time there it was a great experience!

Great sound but needs an update. Instead of continuously changing the front entrance area the bathrooms need a serious overhaul. No paper towel, no working hand dryer and water (at least I think it was water.....)all over the floor.

Caroline Bartholomew

Saw USS here. Awesome venue. Awesome show.

Never been there before was a pretty sweet little venue for a great show (Cradle of Filth / Raven Black & Wednesday 13) Staff was nice, place was clean, even the bathrooms and the security team was nice too. The only issue their bank machine...horrible...go to the banks down the road first..trust me on this.

Went to see Big Wreck Yesterday. The venue is a really run down (not in a good way). Broken bank machines, awful visibility, carpet on the walls, etc. So much potential but it’s not managed well. I’m all for “dive bar venues“ but this is off the charts! Some very general maintenance and a basic business mindset would do this place justice. Hope things improve.

First time at Guelph concert theatre, was pretty disappointing. Waited outside until 840 for an event starting at 8. When inside, the security and staff taking tickets were not communicating well, and didn't know who was doing what. After 40 mins in the cold , heading to the bathroom to find 3 stalls with no toilet paper at the beginning of the night :( Ladies were all working together to pass each other tp like we were at a club:p HOWEVER , lighting and sound system were awesome ! The music went through you , that was good :)

Great experience, a little rough round the edges but a great Guelph venue.

It's exciting to head down to the club and have fun. The bathrooms are gross but doesn't ruin the night. A Guelph landmark for sure.

Nice intimate space with multiple bars throughout. Only thing I wish I'd known was there is LIMITED seating and it's on a first come, first serve basis. Had to stand for the full 3 hour concert.

DJ VIBE

Great place to see a live concert in Guelph.

Andrew Hannaford

Great intimate venue.

Chris Thiele

Tight standing venue for concerts, but you can escape the crowds upstairs

Tony Poirier

Venue is great for small to medium sized concerts. Never had to look far for a drink - plenty of bars and staff to help out. Drink options are good, a few curveballs thrown at the staff by our group were completed with confidence. Second level was a nice spot to see the show from above. Parking was a little tough - took about 15 - 20mins to accomplish on a Friday night. But overall, a really good venue.

Bradley Powell

Worst venue I've ever been to. Make sure you drink lots of water before the show or you may pass out. Don't stand to close to the stage, or all you'll hear is bass.. which you may only hear anyways. But really, drive to Toronto for the show instead.

It's an okay place to see a show. Really the only place in Guelph. The sounds system isn't great and neither is venue as a whole but it's fine overall.

Michelle Evers

saw a lot of my fave bands here; and had a good time each time ive went. no problems

Great sound and an intimate place for a concert. Cash only at the bar. Easy to work your way to the front, close to the band, even if it looks packed. Great vibe and a fun night with a crowd.

Absolutely awful set up for all ages shows and you clearly oversell tickets for your event just to make a few extra bucks, what a shambles.

Oversold concert.....couldnt even breathe

Katherine Walker

Awesome venue. My friend and I went to see Mother Mother in February. It was a great show and the venue was pretty awesome. They served free water which was awesome as we all know how hot it can get at a show. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. The location of the theater is in a very beautiful historic part of Geulph.

This is by far the worst venue I have ever been to. They oversold the show without a doubt in my mind. It was so packed you couldn’t even get into the main room where the band played. Wall to wall people packed in like sardines. If there was ever a fire hundreds would be dead. The upstairs balcony had much more room probably because you can’t see the band from up there unless you’re in the first row at the railing. And it was way way hotter upstairs. So hot you couldn’t stay up there for the whole show. Parking is a serious issue in downtown Guelph as well. If I could give the Guelph concert theatre zero stars I would. Won’t be going back to this venue. It’s old and should be demolished and rebuilt to today’s standards. I’m sure it was nice 100 years ago

Been there for USS concert and the place is amazing and spacious for small and medium gigs..

Patricia Torger

Old cinema turned into a concert venue. Got way too hot in there they need more air circulation. Bonus for the weird washroom setup downstairs since they were plenty of stalls. Need more soap dispensers though

There is little ventilation and it gets crazy hot inside. But its reasonably priced.

Nice place to see a concert. Have multiple balconies which get you off the main floor.

I was here for a concert, and the venue itself was alright, but that was it. After arriving at 7pm for VIP advance entry, we were finally let in at 830pm (it had started snowing outside). We were initially told we could leave and come back, which was changed to no re-entry about 10 minutes later. This forced us to eat dinner at the venue, and all that was available was pizza we saw delivered at about 730, which was just sitting on the bar, no heat lamp, being resold by the slice (not even sure if this is legal), and popcorn. Fortunately, the concert itself was very good, as Classified puts on an amazing show, but I would recommend other venues.

I have been to the Guelph Concert Theatre for two concerts. Great concerts and sound, but they need air conditioning or fans. When the room is full of people the heat is alarming.

Letissa F

Main act was cancelled, crowd wasn't told until the end of the night close to almost 1. Not cool.
