The manager on shift the night we went was a very nice man... I believe his name was Jim. I purchased my tickets online and there was an error on the date. We had already purchased concessions and thought, oh no!! Lol but fortunately he was cool about it and walked us over to the theater. Very good experience.

I'm at the movies tonight with my husband and the guy sitting beside me is sucking on one of those E-Cigs or Vaps, whatever they call them...I didn't say anything, then 1/2 way through the movie my throat starts to get dry and sore...it's from that crap he's blowing into the air right beside me...People are not allowed to smoke in public places, so what gives them the right to haul on those things...The gov't hasn't made any announcements on what harm it could be causing, so why are they allowed to subject people to second hand vaps? I suggest you put a Non Smoking E-Cigs or Vaps as well as non smoking...to me and others it's all the same...Look into it. This has been posted on Social Media and there are hundreds of comments agreeing with me...Leave those things in your purse, pocket...but don't subject others to it.

Best theater in the Niagara area. AVX is available. Self use kiosks have replaced the normal admissions area. Very accessible. Food is available onsite. Staff is friendly. Make sure to bring your scene card!

This theatre is almost always clean, good film selection and offers it all. From popcorn, drinks, candy, burgers, pizza, fries and poutine, wraps and many others. The AVX cinema is fantastic to watch movies on. Room for improvement: Less commercials and ads. To expensive and portions are getting smaller. If you're going to charge as much as you do, staff better because wait times in lines are insane

This theatre is starting to see it's age after being open now for well over a decade. A relatively tight foyer but the theatres are spacious. Ample free parking out front. Staff is friendly and curtious. Overall a great place in Niagara Falls to catch a movie and spend an afternoon.

I went to see John Wick 3 yesterday in their ATMOS AVX Cinema 1. This cinema is great if it weren't for (as usual) the audience. Today's treat were three sets of people. The first couple directly in front of me needed to shoot a small video of the opening credits. I said out loud that I don't hope I see that cell phone again for the rest of the movie (I didn't). The second set of disruptions was immediately to the left of me several seats over (with empty seats in between). They were cell phone obsessed to the point that I got up near the end of the movie and walked over there, looked the woman right in the face and told her, "I can see your phone every time you turn it on, please put it away." The last joy was the redneck inbred family in front of them that were reclining and talking about John Wick to their Grandmother through the entire film in their "I'm at home in my living room" voices. Grandma needed the whole movie explained to her and they needed to be heard OVER the movie throughout the whole movie. John Wick 3 is a solid 9/10. The experience (as per usual) was dismal. 4/10 if I'm being generous.

It is okay but the seats are old style and uncomfortable. Their competitor Landmark has been renovating and improving their seats along with everything else. Also we went to see Fast and Furious 9 and there were several families with very young children. I consider that child abuse and the staff should be more vigilant with preventing children from entering extremely vilolent movies like this.

It's the only Cineplex in quite an area, movies screen in the late afternoon on some days, most start around 7. Average sized auditoriums, no time play. Plenty of staff at concessions if there is a lineup at the automated ticket machines.

This is a large Cineplex with an arcade. The outside could use a bit of a facelift, but given that they were shut down for so long I am completely understanding that they would rather focus on the inside. Inside you will find two movie theatre wings with multiple theatres in each wing. To the right is the arcade which has been made so that physical distancing can take place. It isn't very big, but it is still really fun to go to when you're too early to the movie. There are nice prizes you can win as well. The line up for food moves quickly and you will be able to find your *assigned* seat (choose online or when buying tickets) easily upon entry to the theatre.

We all know the popcorn and drinks are a rip off. Movie was great and on time, but you suffer through 20 minutes of ads for everything from Viagra to storm doors before the show. Why is this still allowed? At least with netflix you don't have to suffer through that, and your popcorn and pop might cost you $1.00 I bought a kid's popcorn pkg & mini drink, and adult popcorn & drink $24.00. Tickets for me and my son were same price. And yet they we still all line up line up for this insanity..plus don't ask for butter it is a $1 extra. On the positive side, the screens and theater is clean and roomy, the concessions are generally fast and even though we feel we are cheated what night out anywhere doesn't cost $50.00. Your only hope is the the movie is good

Overpriced. Lacks convenience of other theatres in region (beverage stations, etc.). Must corral to cue for tickets and entry. Cannot phone theatre either. Only listed number makes you hang up and dial a number spoken only once after waiting through two levels of their automated phone system.

There was no proper distancing seat blockage between each patron, which is kind of weird. Aside to that, there were alot of highly vocal and annoying patrons who can't shut up during the movie. Aside from that, seats are great, screen size is decent and the 3D one is pretty awesome!

It's a theatre. I advise just watching most movies on Netflix, then you won't have a screaming kid or a sticky seat and can pause the movie for a snack and bathroom break.

This is a really good place to watch a movie????. It's a large building when you will enter the building you can find the main table where you can get your food ????????and drinks???????? or the other stuff you want to eat. You can use your scene ????points also to buy your food.on the right hand side you can get your movie tickets???? and you can use your scene points here too and there are 2 corridors on bothe sides and there u can see your movies means in both the corridors u can find movie theatres. they have very large hall and too many seats. After watching movie their staff will be standing the exit so u can throw your garbadge there.

Over the last five years, I’ve visited this movie theatre with my boyfriend (now fiancé) and I’ve really enjoyed coming here. Although, a fair warning to anyone looking to visit the theatre, I went there last night with my fiancé and there’s all of these new rules for Covid. So you’re not allowed to drink or eat any food on the premises. So if you want to buy popcorn and a soda, you have to be leaving the theatre. :/ who in their right mind is going to pay for their overpriced popcorn and drinks just to take home? While sitting in the theatre, my fiancé and I took off our masks. There was no one in the two rows in front or behind us and no sitting in our row. The employee came in to fill out their sheet and he came and told us we had to put our mask on. Of course neither of us were going to argue with a minimum wage employee but we were shocked. Everyone in the theatre has to show proof of vaccination to get in. And we were social distanced from everyone. Anyways, i ended up getting thirsty about Halfway into our movie so my fiancé and I left. We won’t return until after these Covid regulations calm down. It’s just a complete waste of money.

I went to go see Baby Driver on my birthday. Although the movie was phenomenal the experience of the theatre wasn't anything spectacular. I believe that all theatres should implement assigned seating for convenience and lack of confusion. I also believe that more comfortable and adjustable chair could be implemented. Movie fine, staff polite, theater clean. I Don't like that the arcade is in the middle of the lobby now. After spending like 80 dollars to see the movie (after snacks,) and spending my time in line telling my kids they can't buy the gimmicky toys (I'll get to those in a minute) in the carts beside the line, I then have to push my kids literally through the arcade. You've got my money, why do you need to try so hard for more. Now, remember the gimmicky toys I mentioned? Imagine watching a movie. 30 minutes after the trailer and obligatory "No texting during the movie, the light is distracting," psa, suddenly there's strobing lights behind you. That's right, someone bought their kids strobing wands for the movie. Why is Cineplex selling something like that after spending over a decade telling us to not be distracting in a movie theater?

It's a nice theatre, but I wish they'd include more interesting films on the roster and not always solely the biggest CGI blockbusters. I also wish they'd get the Scene TimePlay available there. It's one of the only Cineplex in the area, and not to have access to the in-theatre game to win points and stuff is really too bad.

Older theatre with un-comfy seats and washrooms in need of some updates! Concession lines are soooo slow and on busy nights (Tues, weekends) the washrooms are not kept up and are often in terrible need of cleaning and sùpplies. The two newer, "Ultra AVX" theatres here are more comfy - Cineplex should upgrade the seating for all the screens. Take a short drive to the Seaway Cineplex in Welland ìnstead for a much nicer experience.

Simply amazing Cineplex is moving up in this world and is bringing me back 10x as much as an adult than when i was a kid. Great staff great vibes. I went to see lion king (standard). I always go to standard shows, but this time I got my seat in section i which is at the top! The volume was really really dull. I don’t know what happened to their speakers! I couldn’t hear some dialogues! Which wasnt the best experience! Since lion king is an all time classic :(

I was torn on how to score this theatre. While the facilities are clean and well appointed, every staff i encountered on both my most recent visit, and one less than 3 weeks prior, give the impression of hating everything about their jobs. They were barely tolerant of the guests, some appeared to be wandering and were audibly gossiping about other staff members, and the guy this time at the concession was miserable. I don't expect white glove service everywhere I go, but at least fake it until you don't have a customer in front of you.

The seats were super cushy and the sound system was awesome. I have to deduct almost all the stars for the price. Pop and popcorn combos are over 20 bucks. The markup on that must be 74 billion percent. I couldn't afford a five dollar pop, so I was thirsty through the 2½ hour film. I also kept thinking I could rewind a scene - which is what I'd do at home. And I'd press pause to go get my 40 cent pop!

Prices are high for food. Chairs are comfortable but squeezed in with the next one beside it. So you could bump arms with your neighbor. No cup holders for the arm rests that are beside the stairs. Great seating, you can get a good view of the screen wherever you sit. Concession stand and small restaurants are ridiculously overpriced. $25 for two drinks and a popcorn is outrageous. Aside from that though they have an arcade and its a great atmosphere. Very family friendly.

They play a lot of movies, which is about as good as it gets. Staff are all kids, most of whom don't care about their jobs from the look of it. Seats are screens are old, and could use replacing. For a theatre that's in the parking lot of an abandoned mall however, it's not the worst. Especially since it's the only one in town.

Always clean and comfortable. The food is like any other theatre. Super overpriced. It does get busy, but if you use online purchasing, you can get your tickets ahead of time and skip the lines. Personally I never buy food at theatres because they gouge you, so I can’t speak for the food, only the price, which is not unique to this particular theatre. The staff here is always friendly and helpful and there are some great theatres here for 3D and IMAX movies.

I reduced my stars because lately the consession staff have been horrible. I do understand that they are busy but no excuse for being impatient and rude. Yesterday was the 3rd time in the past 3 months that I have had to experience rude consession staff. No smiles, eye rolling when my kids changed their order, no thank you, one girl snapped at me when I took the wrong candy off the shelf. Just horrible and this is from three different staff members. I love going to the movies so please stop ruining the experience for me! It's just a regular theater, nothing fancy. It is clean and well kept, they have a wide variety of snacks, foods and drinks but like all movie theaters, they are extremely overpriced. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because service at the concession is very slow; if you plan on getting popcorn, I suggest you arrive 45 to an hour before your movie starts to allow time at the slow concession stand! Also they charge you 99cents for butter! Considering how much they charge for popcorn, the least they could do is offer you free butter!

I read through multiple reviews of this Theatre and thought I'd take the time to educate people so that in the future they will make better comments. I saw comments letting people know that the service is slow on Tuesdays and Weekends. Duh! That's when most people go to movies, so it's going to be busy. Just like Traffic Jams occur in the morning and evening...when most people are going to work or going home. That's common sense. Don't complain about it, just go when it's not busy. ie. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Also, for people complaining about the prices, guess what? Movie theatres don't make much money from the movie, that goes to your favourite actor, the producers, the studio. The theatre make their money from concessions. Thank you and have a nice day!

At least the seats are consistent (lol). Picture and sound is good. Concessions and condiment table clean. Did not use washroom facilities so not sure of their cleanliness.

I hadnt been to the movies in years when a favourite childhood book of mine came out as a movie. My grandma and i headed out to the movies for the first time in over a decade. We were shocked by the high popcorn, drink,and snack prices. $50 later and we were enjoying the movie until the screen went black. We sat there in confusion for a few minutes before someone came in and said they would fix the issue. The movie was rewound then went black again. A few moments after that they turned up the lights and we were told they are unable to fix the issue and we will be given free movie tickets. We gathered our things and left, thanking everyone for their efforts, however, after using this free movie ticket i just obtained, i will likely never return.

If I could review the customers instead of the theatre this would be more useful. The theatre is a decent theatre so it gets a four, but some individuals attending the theatre were something else. As expected, if there is a few good movies out, the line ups will be long. Prices are really expensive, but the company makes the prices, not the people working there. I just bring my own drinks in a bag, then buy a large popcorn (8 bucks). People will stand in line complaining how slow it is, and when they reach the front of the line and are asked what they want, they don't know. If they were deciding what they wanted then maybe it wouldn't take so long!!! I have seen this happen so many times. IF you are one of these people STOP. Decide what you want while you are waiting OR before you get in line, and if they are still slow getting your order then complain. Otherwise shhh. If you spend time deciding what drink or candy or popcorn yeah they are going to be slow cause YOU are holding up the line. The prices are all listed, If you don't know then ask what the best deal is. Oh and if you don't want to pay $1 for butter use the stuff on the side for free. Don't stand there saying what it's not free...again they don't make the prices, they can't just change the prices for you. So don't stand there getting mad, move so the rest of us can order.

The days of going to a theater are to see a movie are done unless you dont mind sitting near people that talk for the whole movie, play on their phones, or have a serious BO problem. Very expensive to see a movie here. Also the theaters could be a little bit cleaner to watch a movie so we're not sitting in sticky seats or seats with springs going up our butts. And also please bring back human help and get rid of the computer systems when purchasing movie tickets.

I went to see Shang-Chi thinking that it would be an amazing experience but instead it turned out to be the worst time ever. Firstly, the movie itself was great but the problem we had was how poor the quality of the projector was. It was really blurry and the brightness was really low so we couldn't depict any detail in the night action scenes that went on. Overall, I feel that Cineplex needs to hire better staff.

You get the real cinema experience! It's huge! It's always clean, lots of snack options, and they have the typical teenage staff which I personally think is part of the charm! Of course it's not cheap, nothing is these days, but it's certainly some wholesome fun in a region that offers absolutely nothing in terms of fairs or other types of festivals.

So because it's winter time we parked near the exit and not near the main entrance thinking when the late movie was over we would appreciate our car so close. Update: I gave them one star lower because I tried renting one of their movies online it was all buggy and wouldnt play. I've been coming here for my whole life.This is the best theatre in the region. The one at the Penn pales in comparison (much smaller screens.) It has an AVX theatre too. There's many ways to buy tickets. They recently switched up the layout. There's a fun little arcade. Most expensive food in the world (as with any cinema.) Get a scene card, it's worth it. Only thing is they normally only play the very most popular movies (they didn't play Selma..which I'm still bummed about.)

This is a great theater, probably the best on the region. They have reclining chairs in one, avx, 3d movies and if you didn't know, you can pack a bag and save yourself money rather then buying the stuff there, buy it at bulk Barn or the dollar store and sneak them in ????yes there's even wheelchair accessible places

New layout due to covid . Arcade is more open. All staff were wearing masks and following covid protocols. It was easy to order tickets online and scan in the theater. The seating was spaced out for social distancing .The concession stands were still open for food purchases. The parking lot is spacious. There are many other businesses in close proximity (including the mandarin).

The front door handicap button wasnt working and there was no one there to assist me. The seats are crammed and very little leg room. The bathroom was nasty - someone threw up all over the floor and we were one of the last guests to leave so it had been there for some time.

I'm not sure what happened with the Atmos/UltraAVX conversion at this location, but the cyan safety lighting they use is horrendously bright and absolutely does affect the contrast ratio of this screen, the blacks are always washed out like a poor performing LCD flat panel, it's so bright it looks like cars are parked down the exit ramps shining headlights on the screen. I stopped going to this location, 15 mins away, and if I want an UltraAVX experience I'll drive 35 mins to the Stoney Creek Mountain location which uses the far more pleasant orange/sienna lighting for safety, the difference in the wavelength is apparent, you can still easily find your seat and see the aisle illuminated, but it doesn't shine brightly up onto the screen at all. If you're going to a regular screening it's not a concern, but if you're looking for UltraAVX, skip the Niagara Falls location. I forgot how bad it was and went to see Spectre there, it was only a few minutes in that I remembered. D'oh! The absolute worst would be any movie with darker scenes like a SciFi space flick, Star Wars, etc., Go to Hamilton Mountain and you'll have a more plasma-like experience. I've even shown the manager there the difference in the ambient light being thrown on the screen in the UltraAVX screen compared to a 2D screen opposite and he could see the difference but said it's Cineplex corporate that would need to change it. It's clear from Spectre, they still haven't.

PROGRESS!! We FINALLY went to see a movie - for the first time in about two years (thanks COVID-19!). And what better movie to see... Bond. James Bond. 2:43? I was surprised that it did not have the feel of such a long movie. Spoiler Alert: Rami Malek was a good Bond villain. We saw the demise of Blofeld, and, alas, we said goodbye to James Bond (the best Bond in my opinion). The franchise will be made new again... the next 007 can be ANYTHING they want it to be. Anyways, the world goes on! Life after... err, during COVID is slowly returning to "normal" , although nothing will probably be the same again. To each of you - go to a movie again! One thing about it was pretty cool - there were nothing but empty seats - so "social distancing" was not the least bit of a problem, LOL. Enjoy!

Saw Downton Abbey at the 4pm showing. Most of the viewers at that showing were older. The theatre was so kind to turn on extra lighting in the theatre before and after the movie. This made it easier for the more mature viewers that day to get in and out more safely. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. My mother was very grateful.

The seats in theater 1 were absolutely terrible. So terrible, that I thought I was sitting in a broken seat. Also, no slushies…? Really..? Overpriced mediocre drinks, $2 charge for extra butter yet it’s free at the station before entering the theater. Over all, do not recommend this location whatsoever. I found the screen pretty fuzzy, as well. Mind you, I am used to the Austin Tx theaters where everything is bigger & better! I miss the cherry coke slushies, snacks & better screens/seating! Cineplex in the USA have endless of options for slushies, it’s actually amazing! STEP YOUR GAME UP CINEPLEX! Overpriced & mediocre at best. $60 for 2 adult tickets, popcorn, 2 drinks & chocolate— that resulted in numb bums. Dune was an amazing movie nonetheless.

I love going to the movies and this theater is great but it seems as though every time i go I have to sit through more and more ads. After paying that much on the tickets and concessions I am disgusted the company still wants money in ad revenue. Last time they even cut out the trailers and only played commercials for 15 minutes until they started the movie.

Recently went to the Niagara Square Cinema. I was very disappointed after paying almost $10.00 that I was subjected to number of commercials prior to the show. Big screen,in my face commercials. If I want to watch commercials I'll stay home and watch cable. At least can turn down the volume or walk away. I'm a fan of the DVR and Netflix.

I love this movie theatre. I've been here oh so many times. The staff here have always been lovely and polite, and there's always a great selection of movies playing. It's located in an ideal location with lots of great things around it! I like that there's a lot of theatres inside, hence the great selection, but it doesn't feel as massively overwhelming as the Toronto theatres do.

Best theater in the Niagara region. The ultra avx screens are amazing and will make every movie you watch that much better. I have found the 3d to be very good as well, unlike other theatres in the region. The food is slightly expensive but is no worse than any other theater. The chairs in the theatre itself are very comfortable, and they have the ability to recline backwards. It is also very nice that you can buy certain seats, so you do not have to show up an hour before the film to get good seats. If there is a must see movie coming out, I would not hesitate to choose this theater over all others.

Yes, the prices for concessions are high but many people don't realize that the theatres make little money on the actual tickets. The movie corps take most of that. So buy the popcorn and enjoy your local theatre. Lest we don't have one. However, for their cost of a few cents they could bring back free refills on large popcorn to be competative with Landmark

oh my God the worst tasting food I've ever had in my entire life I took my family to see the Terminator and we ordered three hotdogs and french fries, I struggled to think of what the hot dogs remind me of and WET CAT FOOD came to mind the french fries reminded me of Frozen McCain's possibly microwaved hours later. Go to landmark if you can. For me and my wife are really tickets and popcorn it was a $75 movie. Can't pick your seat either. Most theatres now allow you to pick you seats. Food at the concession was very over priced $29.99 for popcorn a drink and a bag of candy. Sound and video we're good, so at least that was worth the price if admission. Scene points are cool too so that $30 popcorn gets you some points

They have a good number of theatre's including 3D and Ultra AVX capability. Plenty of parking onsite as well. Highly recommend this theatre location.

Took my daughter and her friends to see the new Paw Patrol movie for an early evening showing (540) on a Saturday and we were the only people there. It was amazing! The kids got to get up and dance with the music, laugh and be as silly as they wanted and it didn't disturb anyone! Lol. The prices were very affordable and we got nachos which I was surprised at the huge helping for such a decent price!

Still one of the better theatres I would come to. I drive from st catharines to know that I'm going to get a good seat, a clean theater, and the nachos are always in stock ????

Over priced just like any other cineplex. 28.00 for 2 popcorn 2 drinks and one snack. Highway robbery. Come on cineplex . Lower your prices on the snacks and maybe more people will go to the show more often.

Buy tickets from machines at the check in counter. People seemed friendly at the concession stand. Theaters are always clean.

Nice Theater. We were from the States and our app would not load for the tickets since we were on roaming for data. The manager helped us out and was nice about it. By the way, the popcorn is fresh at this theater.

Awesome experience! The avx was amazing but the manager tonight was even better! We came early she made us feel welcomed and she remembered us, found us and told us our movie was starting! Super nice and caring wish we personally thanked her! Hope she gets this message! And she was so hard working every moment doing something, cleaning love that she's not an entitled manager like other places! Will def be going back soon cause of her! Manager on duty Aug 17 from 7-10p! You rock!

The experience wasn't great,the movie started 6:50pm and I was there from 6:30pm there was no preview on the screen. People just sat there looking at the white screen. I think the previews could start a little earlier. The entrance was dirty, it is the first thing you see. It was really bad.
