Have been coming here since I was a kid and now with my own kids. Staff are friendly and quick, prices are great, cash only for admission and concessions. Building is dated but its been around for 40 years, hope it stays for 40 more!

Love the drive in. Can't wait till it opens again. It's only a slight inconvenience to have to pay cash, Same with the rough roads or paths...could use some leveling or stone in the potholes, but it's just something you live with. It probably helps keep the kids speeds down too that can be a little reckless. Prices are good considering you're seeing 2 (or more) movies, although it's not often that 2 moves we want to see are playing on the same screen. We often just stay for the first and then leave, but we never feel ripped off. The owner seems to be genuine and appreciates his customers based on a couple interactions that I've had or friends have had with him, just about small issues. We were never blown off or disrespected, and that professionalism and treatment doesn't go unnoticed. Will definitely be returning as a happy customer

Love coming here. Old school. Good popcorn and concession deals too. Just wish there was an option for refund if it starts raining hard before the first movie starts. Remember bug spray for mosquitos and a blanket/rain poncho incase it gets cold or rains and if your in an open hatchback or truck or windows open (would be cool if they sold bug spray or some kind of blanket or thermal tarp for ppl who forget lol). Make sure you bring cash. No debit at front gate and Sometimes atm inside concessiok building doesnt work or runs out of cash.

It achieves its purpose but could do a lot more to upgrade and attract more: redo the ramparts and sod between parking spots, redo the gravel lane ways, maybe spiff up the poles, put in a modern playground, clean up and freshen up the bathrooms with taps that work and brighter lighting over the toilets themselves, and enhance the menu on the concession.

This is a great local drive-in. There are four screens which all play different genres of movies. For the cheap price of $12/ticket you get two movies which is such a good deal. The building has a really nice set up compared to other drive-ins that I have been to. There are a tonne of washroom stalls (which aren't gross). There is also a grill with typical movie food indulgences as well as popcorn for a reasonable price. Covid-19 guidelines are followed inside the building. They have set up a one way arrow system for ordering food and have spots to stand in. There is sanitizer available inside as well. The quality of the movie was great. No issues or fuzzy screen moments. Each screen has a lot of parking spots to allow for everyone to watch movies while social distancing.

The bathroom line was a big damn problem during intermission but that's to be expected during these wild times. Movie was good. Parking was good. Leaving wasn't a hassle. Concession prices are reasonable for a movie theater. Will go again.

I love this place. My family really enjoys coming here to watch a couple of movies. The popcorn is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I've never had a bad experience here, even on opening weekends of big movies when it is very busy. This place is an absolute must for anybody with younger children. They don't have to sit in a movie seat for a couple of hours, they can move around, play and not bother anyone.

Love this place! It has four screens and is $12/person for a minimum of a double header. Staff are friendly and try to get you in and out of the snack bar quickly so you don't miss any of your movie. It is cash only. View of the beautiful sunset before the movie!

The snacks are also great, unfortunately the snack bar is not open at this time due to the pandemic right now. The Canview Drive-In has been a long time favorite. I have been going here since I was a child. With 4 screens to choose from, and the incredible price of 2 movies for $12 per person, it is amazing. The concession stand is huge and offers food, snacks and drinks. The bathrooms are clean. And the staff is always incredibly friendly. Bring cash though, no debit or credit card. I highly recommend making the Canview Drive-In a once a week thing!

A great drive in! The working crew had a few hiccups with setting up the entena to broadcast the movie but it was corrected quickly and it was smooth sailing from there. Remember to dress according to the weather! It was very rainy when we went so there were a few dozen small lakes to motor through.

Old and alittle ran down but still a great place. They always have a good selection of movies and they are cheaper than a regular movie theater. Picture and sound quality is very good. (no 3D version or any of that fancy stuff but still great). Concessions are good with good variety and cheaper than the movies. Grounds could be better kept as there is alot of potholes and gets swampy in some places when it rains. Overall, great place to take the family for movies especially if you have a big family as it costs a fraction of what a regular movie would cost.

Multi screen complex showing 8 movies a night on 4 screens!! Easy to find right off the highway my only complaint would be the speed bumpa on the drive way in are severe. Greay ammenites in the central building offwring a wide variety of snacks aswell as resonably clean bathrooms. Screens sermed to be in a good state of upkeep whick was nice because the last drive in we were at the wood became apparent 1/4 of the way into the movies! Films we saw sucked but that was our choice; experiance was great!

Last night my husband got home late from work and wasn't able to eat dinner so we ordered a cheeseburger from the drive-in... it was the size of a baseball and one of the most delicious burgers he has ever had. Pretty sure it was made from fresh ground beef. I love the deep fried pickles and $6.00 for popcorn and pop combo... Yes please!!

Two cars parked in the row in front of my family and I, they backed in and opened there hatch backs where they blocked part of the screen. Wasn't a fun experience for the little ones.

A fun experience for all of us to be back at the drive in. The complex is large with hundreds of spaces for all 3 screens. Both admission and snacks are very reasonably priced. An area of improvement would be better enforcement of where large vehicles can park to not obstruct the view. Having more than one line at the snack bar would be nice. That have a great food selection but it takes a long time to prepare the food. The people who just want popcorn have to wait in the same line.

If I had a choice I would come here to watch a movie all year around. Very cheap to see 2 movies and they have great deals on tuesday. Food is pricey but it's the movies so what do you expect. Drive in movies are the best and give you a great experience and you would love it. Good movie selection and you can watch 2 movies for under $15 and on Tuesdays it is cheaper.

Great place! A lot of fun to go with friends, and definitely kid friendly. Shows change weekly prices are very fair and for anyone concerned very easy to socially distance. I've been going for years and in my opinion its the best way to watch a movie especially when they do older features (one October they had an excellent triple feature with the original Texas chainsaw massacre, friday the 13th and nightmare on elm street) but also a fun way to watch new releases with relative privacy on a big screen. For anyone concerned they are able to give your car battery a boost if needed and concessions can be bought inside or bring your own without issue; my friend even brought her dog once. Really reccomend for everyone it's a great time.

I love this place. I've been going here ever since I was just a little kid and my dad would drive us out to see some movies. Now I'm in my late 20s and I bring my own family here on a regular basis, including my dog because it is a dog-friendly atmosphere that even sets up special walking paths in order to take your dog to the potty. They include bowls of water for the dog to stay hydrated and everything. Just a heads up, the entrance fee at the booth is Cash-Only so make sure you bring actual money with you. The staff is nice and understanding, if you happen to never have cash on you, like myself, they simply write down your license plate number and let you withdraw cash from the ATM inside of the concession building and then you pay in there and they check your license plate off of the "Payment Owed" list. Great atmosphere for all ages and all kinds of events; Dates, a night out, spend time with your dog, whatever your reason may be.

First time going, website shows they open at 7:30. However after sitting here 2 hours waiting for movie to start the kids fell asleep. It has been dusk for awhile now, very disappointing. Of course after 2 hours the snacks are done and confectionery is not opened during these times.

Don't quite remember the brightness of the movie being quite as dim as this time I went. Could barely see anything in the movie, and we were super close to the screen. I may not know about the specifics of the operations of a drive-in, but I know the projectors aren't this dim. Seems this place may need some needed upgrades or different bulbs.

Can-View is a Niagara gem. There are less than 40 drive-ins throughout all of Canada, we're so lucky to have one right in our backyard. Affordable, best atmosphere, amazing staff... can't praise it enough. The best part of summer in Niagara!

If you bring me to a drive in ill have a good time regardless so i have a hard time giving this place a 1 star. In terms of drive ins its sub par in my books, a lawless wasteland if you will. Minimum options at the snack bar so make sure you bring your own. My main gripe is the lack of enforcement of rules. People with suvs and hatch up 3 rows from the screen, lawnchairs out even though the rule is not too with the current pandemic going on. This place is waiting for a huge fine and its a shame but it cant be that hard to hire 1 or 2 kids to go around and make people follow precautions.

Amazing Halloween night! Even gave the kids a hand decorated treat bag of goodies. Great distancing protocols inside. Amazing staff all dressed for the occasion, polite and efficient! I've been going here for years and I just love the family friendly atmosphere here. Nothing beats getting to watch movies in the bed of your suv or truck in the great outdoors. The facilities are very well maintained as well. The employees are always at your service and ready to help you too. The only downside to this place as a millenial is it's cash only, no cards. However, they do have an ATM on site so if you do forget to bring cash you can absolutely still pay for things. Overall though, I've never had a bad experience here. Even if it rains or fogs up or there's technical difficulties, as long as you have your original receipt you will receive a raincheck ticket for the next day or whenever you'd like to go back next for the exact amount of people in your vehicle.

I really like going here...especially on a cool night. Concessions need some work. Below average popcorn (which is hard to be). We were wondering why there wasn't lineups on a Friday night...I guess most people knew- bring your own food. Which is a shame...I'd rather give my $ a small business- but there has to be some quality. But we didn't go there for the food...screen was a good sized and the sound was also good.

Great prices 4 screens cant go wrong. Big bathrooms so less waiting during intermission always a good thing when dragging the kids along. Food was tasty went for the sausage but they were out so tried the cheeseburger real ground beef yum hotdogs were good too 12 inches split in half fed both kids fries and gravy were nice going to have to try poutine next time portions were big. Only downside CASH ONLY but I dont blame them costs too much.

The best drive in I have been to! The screens are very large and the movie areas fit almost twice as much cars compared to other places I have been. This means there is always a good spot waiting! Nice big, and clean washrooms. The only complaint is that the food is very expensive, but you have to expect that at a movie theaters these days.

I love visiting the drive-in on a nice summer night. I am so glad this place is still open. You can see 2 movies, 3, or 4, depending on the night. I normally just see 2 movies because 3 or 4 is too much for me. There is a lot of room and you don't have to worry about people being directly beside you. Food is pretty good and bathroom is normally pretty clean. I hope the drive-in stays open for a long time!

Usually have good movie selection but can be hard to find two movies on one screen that you want to see. Worth mentioning that the food is not only cheap but delicious. Will not return again, they start the movie to soon so you miss the first 20 minutes because its still light out and can not see anything on the screen. No one enforces the fact that you need to TURN YOUR LIGHTS OFF so a bunch of retards hangout with their lights on all movie, also adding to the fact that you cant see the screen. Picture could use a little more focusing. No it's not my eye sight. I just got brand new glasses some my vision is 20/20. They have bigger vehicles like trucks, SUVs and vans park in the first few rows which blocked the bottom part of the screen. Specially the SUVs with their trunks open. I don't understand why the bigger taller vehicles get the front rows instead of the back.

Just came to the drive in first time back in a while since Covid... me and my boyfriend are in our truck parked far away from everyone else in the very back row and we were setting up our blankets in the back and a team of staff members came over because they had staff watching over cars and the screen parking lots from the ROOF! So staff came over to us and told us the we had to be inside the truck to watch the movie. We said okay and went inside the truck to eat our food that we brought (keep in mind that it is only 8:00 and it’s not going to get dark for over an hour) so we kept our blankets in the back of the truck because we were eating our food. About 15 minutes pass and the team of staff members come back and tell us that we have to turn our truck around and must watch the movie from inside the enclosed vehicle! We said we are eating right now do we have to turn around at this very second and they said yes... are you kidding me... I understand that they are just kids having to do their job but why is this rule a thing? I don’t get how a truck is so bad that we can’t sit in the bed. Mind you occupants in SUV’s/hatchback vehicles and trucks with caps can sit in the back with the hatches up... We are not even parked beside another vehicle.. this Covid rule is ridiculous

Could have used some help from the staff to assist the pumps who couldn't figure out how to or encourage the JAs who didn't want to figure out how to not shine their headlights in our faces. The same story at every drive-in though. Some places allow much less headlight action than this. Overall experience was good. Concession was good and prices were reasonable.

Absolutely love it, my wife and I attend every season with weekly visits we never miss season opener and final viewing for the season. We both have been enjoying the absolute relaxation and entertainment provided by the Can-View drive in since we were kids I have brought my own children there since they we babies. Keep on rocking for many more generations to enjoy.

Great place for a matinee or double feature! It brings feeling of nostalgia which is really driven home with the classic style intermission commercials if watching a double feature. The screens are nice and clear projections and the audio never had any problems with cutting out. Overall, great fun!

My daughter and friends drive 30 minutes to the drive in , in a pickup truck They paid for everyone and were given their tickets They proceeded to find a parking spot and setup their blankets and pillows A staff member came by and told them they could not sit in the back of truck because it had no cover! They were asked to leave They said that they were more then 6 day from other people and even had their own masks and were willing to wear them if required The staff member said no, you must leave No refunds! And no where posted about trucks on there website! And they were following covid protocol outside 6 ft away and masks How horrible not to refund these kids As well the staff member who sold the tickets should have informed them of can views rules before taking there Money!!

The Can-View Drive-In overall is good. The atmosphere is nice, the prices are reasonable, and the food is good. Good place to bring the family. Some of the screens are fairly rusty but you don't notice it during the film. My biggest complaint are the bathrooms. P.U! They're disgusting! Lots of rust, and garbage all over the bathroom floors. Needs to be maintained better.
