Great location but really hit or miss pending on when you visit. This location is just off of the Dundas TTC Subway Station, on the highest floor of 10 Dundas Street East. It's surprising how many theatres are packed in here as you navigate from the building lobby up to the theatre lobby. The staff do a great job at checking for proof of vaccinations and being extra courteous and patient. This location has a orderly line system provided for being requiring to enter the theatre lobby. Additionally, you'll have to get in before purchasing the tickets on-site. Staff is pretty responsive on helping and letting customers know the usual about which theatre and what floor to be directed to. The building maintenance is pretty hit or miss and could be better. When we visited, the women's bathroom was in horrible shape near theatre #6. When we went, one of the stalls had no door, at least two stalls were not dealt with and was clogged. In another stall, water was just everywhere. It was an absolute mess and was disgusting. This was around 3pm on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the IMAX theatre #6 that we went to was overly loud for our viewing of DUNE. Our viewing experience was taken away by the sound quality and at some points, we could not even hear the actor's voices. Some of us had to put in earplugs/earbuds that we owned to muffle a bit of it. Theatre was clean though, and was nicely spaced out. Not sure if I'd come back for IMAX, it wasn't worth the price, DUNE was pretty good though if you heard it.

Cineplex franchise in general is pretty good in terms of the innovative ways they come up with for us the audience to enjoy the movies. So this time I chose this location as it services 4Dx experience. If you enjoy DBox and imagine that 3d DBox experience could be improved well think again. This experiences plays with all your senses. Smell, smoke, wind, air in your face on your ears around your neck, water splashes, you get completely immersed in the 3d experience making it 4D. Even the motion and blasts near your feet etc. The smell of metal.. It makes it all too real to avoid. I just watched my first movie in 4Dx Avengers Infinity Wars and I must say if you haven't indulged yet, you are missing out. Why 4 star rating? Because like all other locations Cineplex doesn't care about healthy snacks. The one desi shop that's serving some desi snacks opens at 2pm so morning showtimes will not be able to use them.

I enjoyed my experience here, staff are friendly and place is tidy. I went to the 4DX and it was kinda meh... not as exciting as I had though and the seats are soo uncomfortable. A cool way to watch a movie but just the one time is enough

Basic theater, nothing more or less. Saw a movie in IMAX but it felt like a regular movie experience (the screen didn't seem bigger). Nice staff though and very clean. Could use more hot food selection (there are a ton of options around though).

My favourite theatre to go to. I usually try to get the VIP tickets when they’re available for the movie I want to see and it’s always a great time. The VIP theatres here are really nice, and I have yet to go to the lounge but it looks very nice as well. I have seen movies in the regular theatres here as well and have no complaints. The theatres are always clean and comfortable. One of the things that makes this theatre my favourite is the staff. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been very friendly and very kind, which has such an impact on the overall moviegoing experience. I definitely recommend this theatre to everyone.

This is a pretty busy cinema with lineups that can get quite long to get tickets. When buying popcorn, there were several workers behind the counter, but only 1 of them was actually working. The others were chatting away while I was waiting for them to take my order.

This is my go to theater, as it is the closest one to where I live, and with the most selection of movies and screen type in Toronto. Not only do they have all your major blockbusters, they also show quite a bit of foreign language films, classics, anime, and even events. They also have all the types of screens and seats you want, UltraAVX, IMAX, 4DX, VIP, regular 3D, and regular 2D. Located in as central of a location in Toronto as you can, it's convenient and has everything you want from you movie experience. Can't really go wrong with this one.

Standard Cineplex theatre that could use a bit of a modernization. No concession stands on upper levels - only on the lowest level, which means if you want a snack midway through your movie, you're going to have to trek far to get it.

Horrible experience. Went to Cineplex VIP to watch Shang Chi and ordered popcorn and they never came. Waited for the first 30 mins thinking they will eventually get it but they never did. I then went out to remind them of my order and thet said they will get my order right away. That too they didn't. Would not recommend going to this particular Cineplex VIP location.

Not the biggest fan of this theatre or Cineplex anymore. Been to other theatres where ticket prices are cheaper and the overall experience is just better. You also pay 10 bucks for a large popcorn and you don't even get refills.

IMAX is smaller than the one at Scotia Bank but I like the multiple washrooms at the Y&D location. The seats will swing back but I'm so short it never stays in a reclined mode. Overall theatre is clean and washrooms are not too bad either.

Many theatres, you might be caught up in a line up depending on the day or the time you go. They are quick, staff is friendly easy to get around. It is wheelchair accessible and they also have wheelchair parking.

Went to see tenet in this pandemic inflicted cinema era. The theater was empty, there were probably four people besides me. Everything was clean and well maintained. Kudos to Cineplex for keeping the show going, I can't imagine they're making much money on attendances like this. I quite enjoyed the movie, which was nice too.

Place was very clean and comfortable! They followed all safety protocols for covid which def made me relax a bit. Felt extremely comfortable! Amazing staff and great restaurants near by! A very good place to see a movie downtown and yes, there are a lot of elevators but I think it is better than the Scotiabank Theatre on John Street. Originally an AMC theatre and there are lots of restaurants in the building. Also, unlike the John Scotiatheatre, there is direct subway access. Typically theatre food - expensive. and NO REFILLS on popcorn. Come on Cineplex! No wonder movies are not doing well.

This is a fine theatre. I like that they serve tea, but I wish they had the new Coca-Cola machines. They generally serve you old popcorn instead of taking the new stuff that has just popped. Often lineups to buy tickets, so just buy them online.

NOT REALLY AN IMAX Rating is for the “IMAX” theatre at this location. Beware, this theatre should not qualify as an IMAX theatre. The screen is smaller than many AVX screens. And films are not necessarily projected in the proper aspect ratio, 1917 for example. Any theatre that requires you to sit as close as the 4th row for a good seat... well, you know what I mean.

I took my wife ,best friends and i to watch black widow in vip for the 6:45 show . We had a great time and it was good to be back home again , however i didnt like that one of your general managers stopped us after the show and was not respecting both my wife and i. Mask exemptions, none of the other employees give us a hard time so why now ?He was just being difficult and tonight was ruined because of him also we just found out that my wife uncle passed away early this morning and thought that the movies would be a safe place... Btw thanks for that mr manager....

Overall terrible experience. After buying our VIP tickets, the tickets were checked by a cineplex employee before entering the main hall of he cinema. This cineplex employee was clearly under the influence of some sort of drugs. The ticket checker was so out of it that they were not even able to point out where we should go to watch the movie, where the VIP area was to buy popcorn, and had a hard time even directing us to where the bathrooms were. This employee seemed lost in his own work place. Secondly after not understanding where to go from the ticket checker my friend decided to buy his popcorn in the regular hall. At the counter the employee that was serving us had a terrible attitude and was very impatient with us even though there were no other clients to serve. This employee then continued to be rude and never once even looked up at us while serving or giving my friend his food. Finally throughout the entire movie a women behind us kept yelling and talking very loudly. It became very disturbing and distracting from the movie. No member of staff came to ask her to keep it down at any point The only good part about the experience was the great service from the in theatre VIP waiter. Under the influence employee, very rude service, and a very loud and unpleasant customer that was not delt with. Not what I expected when paying 60$ for a movie experience. Even if we would have seen the movie in normal seats and theatre, the service from the employee was unacceptable. Once again a very unpleasant experience.

Everything is amazing except that cineplex has 100% occupancy(informed by the staff) now despite these covid times. Feels really unsafe to view a movie with so many people being crowded and left the theatre within 15 min after the show started. Though my concern has been acknowledged, it’s really contradicting to what is mentioned in the site about covid times and measures taken. Also the funniest part is that… they can fill in the seats and pack the theatre but not allowed to drink water !

Great location in the heart of downtown Toronto, close to public transit and across from Yonge Dundas square. Has everything from regular screens to IMAX and even the latest 4DX scent, motion and sound seating. The food court is small but had some decent options both for takeout and sit down and the Starbucks on the ground floor will guarantee your Java jitters are settled

It's nice to be able to order alcohol and good food at your seat while you watch a movie on the big screen. The VIP Cinemas are also wonderfully childfree... That means no crying babies and the like.

I went to see Star Wars on Boxing day. Love this location until I went to the lady washroom . A big fat mice jumped into me while I was sitting down in the toilet. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I reported to the theater staff right away.

Best part about this Theatre is the VIP area. I've been to the movies here 4 times, twice in comfy VIP. Even the experience of the washrooms makes it worth the extra $$. Table service is good + being able to stretch out and not worry that you are about to sit in some kids puddle of pop is great. I like the space offered in the seats, the arm rests and tables are great. I've become spoiled now - my movie experiences tend towards VIP.

Scummy business practices. All new releases of movies get placed in VIP cinema rooms where they charge you $25 per ticket for the added "right" of being able to buy alcohol. This would be fine, but they don't offer new releases in standard admissions, meaning that you're forced to pay the $25 even if you don't want alcohol. Also, they outright lie about a movie being "standard admission" online, and then when you arrive at the theatre you find out it's "VIP" where you pay more than IMAX admission without the IMAX experience. The people running this place need to be hit with a lawsuit, because it's definitely false advertising.

This cineplex always has special movie screenings and it has imax, ultra avx and 4dx. 4dx is only available at this theatre in all of Canada, it is 100% worth a try. The place almost always has clean theatres and washrooms.

The VIP Experience was awesome, but a bit expensive. Great seating with food ordering and delivery to your seat available. Close to washrooms. Delightful way to see a movie, though a bit expensive. In this case, you do get what you pay for. Reclining and reserved seating.

Decent place to watch movies. Since there are many movie lounges, the sound travels through the walls. We watched a great movie, A Quite Place, and the experience could have been better for the price we paid for the VIP seatings. The couches were not comfortable at all, they don’t recline either. I would recommend going to the VIP experience at Shops at Don Mills location if that’s a big deal for you. The washrooms were dirty, very smelly. I would not recommend the place if you appreciate quality, but it would do for a movie night.

This theater is right across from Eaton Center,and very convenient. I like that they show a huge variety of movies. In addition to Hollywood blockbusters, they also show foreign language movies and movies that are not mainstream to cater to the eclectic downtown Toronto community. Good job, Cineplex!

I brought my children and family here for a Christmas party function. I was very pleased to find the reclining portion of the seat still had a strong spring. I absolutely detest weak recliners offering no back support, forcing me uncomfortable for the whole movie. The only bad part is the multiple levels being a hassle, and having the concession stand so far away from the actual theatre.

Follow the signage and ride the escalators to the third level. Be prepared to show proof of vaccination. Number one sister and I watched Dune on Imax (would highly recommend). There are VIP theatres as well but I' don't eat or drink at the movies so no opinion from this otherwise important person. Comfy seating good lines of sight. Be kind and be ready to go show proof of vaccination.

Theatre maintenance is good, but the automatic kiosks doesn’t work most of the time. Also the entrance of the building is very dangerous, recently when I went to Frozen 2 movie one lady took coffee from a persons hand and she thrown that on to the public We just missed and we were scared.

A little nicer than most Cineplex locations - they left up all the cool paintings of movie stars from when this used to be AMC's main Toronto multiplex. The VIP theaters are impressive, but are NOT worth the $25 (!) tickets. In VIP, your 3D glasses are waiting for you on your seat, which has very wide, flat armrests where you can put your food. Sadly, even in VIP there are still jackasses who talk and check their phone during the movie. (Why hasn't Cineplex tapped into the obvious market for premium movie screenings that have a security guard right there in the theater ready to kick out and BAN anyone who disrupts the movie?) The VIP section of the lobby (complete with bar!) looks classy, although it doesn't have its own dedicated washrooms, so I guess $25 tickets won't save you from having to poop with the peasants.

The VIP was below average. In comparison to the oversea experience, the canadian VIP was way below average to the oversea level Nothing was special: seat were discomfortable, food taste okay, but it did reach me almost cold, and I order large pop corn, i got ( i think) median I don't think I will consider VIP service.

Great theatre in the heart of downtown where all the action is. This theatre has more movies than the average movie place so if you want a good selection to choose from this is the place. Only downside is the lack of parking convenience.

In VIP I had to leave my seat to order my food, because no one came to us and asked what we wanted , but they did it for the other people that were right beside us and on top of that we were the only black people there. The trays and cup holders were also dirty, better off just saving money and not going to the VIP cinema...

I have been going to this place for movies for years, but this time I am disappointed. I used my credit card’s tap, but it got declined. It wasn’t because of the card. It was the machine’s problem. The cashier did not tell me anything about how the machine’s tap feature didn’t work! I went home, got a different credit card. Went back out, and lined up again. Payed with the same machine, but different cashier this time. The second cashier tells me about how the tap didn’t work on the machine, so she told me to insert it. At least this cashier has the knowledge to inform me about the machine’s problem! I went back home and out again for nothing. Train your staff more, Cineplex!

Well - we thought we were going to get in to see a movie and ended up waiting for the next playing as they sold us a ticket for the wheelchair access. The VIP isn't worth the price. You can access by subway, which makes it great for cold winter evening. Although it's located in one of the busiest intersections of Toronto, but I find it not very busy. Most of the time I can sit on the chair that I wanted.Also I like the popcorn there :).

The VIP experience is usually pretty fun, a nice splurge to come early and get a snack in a comfortable seat before the show. It's nice, however, until you're dripping with sweat -- the AC has been out all summer. Went to a show earlier this spring thinking it was a fluke. Went back again to see Spider-Man opening weekend, again VIP, and our legs were soaking wet from sweat at the end of the show. So hot, it distracts from the movie. I gave a complaint at the front and was told they were 'working on it'. Two months later and it's still being worked on -- avoid this theater until they can get it together and fix their facilities.

An excellent place to watch a movie. Food and staff are always great. However, my last experience left much to be desired. Took in Dune on Sunday evening in the IMAX theatre with my wife and son. The volume was painfully mis-calibrated. My wife and son had to leave 30 minutes into film. I gritted my teeth and powered through but left with a banger of a headache and ringing in my ears. To their credit, the staff was very accommodating and issued passes to my wife and son. Please, re-calibrate on the volume levels for this film!

Staff came in to the theater to chat, clean, make some annoying clicking sound, and literally stood in front of me during the end credits scene of the movie. People also came in mid way of the movie (didn't have tickets, checked the reserved seating) and made a bunch of noise. Staff talked with them, and just let them keep sitting here. Accidentally bought tickets for this theater, meant to go to another one, and I definitely will not be back here

The 2 stars are for Covid-19 measurements! I LOVE this location, BUT today when we went there we were SHOCKED how busy it was! NO social distancing between the seats! Unfortunately, they don’t know how to handle it with the ongoing situation and if I got sick it’s going to be from Cineplex! That’s why I will stay home for a week to make sure that I am okay!

Big place. AC works properly. Foods offered is meager. The only substantial food is nachos and hot dogs. No other concessions booths either. Correspondingly, there aren't tables or seats available. There is a VIP lounge serving alcohol so only over 18 Friendly staff.

This specific location is an all in one and dreamy experience. Atmosphere: It seems mellow with a relaxing feel, the bar in the VIP lounge makes you feel like a big shot. Pricing: Standard Cineplex pricing (you can probably go on their website to see what is showing as well) Seating: There is VIP seating, regular , 3D, and AVX that I am aware of. More about VIP: you get to sit on a "La-Z-Boy" type couch, they serve you food inside the theatre and deliver it to your seat. They serve you alcohol in the theatre with specialty drinks. Drinks are roughly 12$ per so a bit pricey, but they are super yummy - if you have a sweet tooth.

The journey to the actual entrance is this theatre's downfall. The scent of artificial butter was nauseating. Nobody was following the spaced searing conditions. I had someone sitting 2 seats to my left and right behind me. I'd much rather continue to stream from home.

Lot of options for food around here. Cineplex, near by. Shopping mall eaton center adjacent to it. One of the biggest shopping mall in canada. Dundas square is most happening place in canada, you find people enjoying here late night. Place where we celebrate most of the important events in canada.

This location used to be an old AMC location since the Cineplex takeover. This location is great and they have a great selection of movies. They also have multiple screens that show the same movie and much more movie times to accommodate. The staff is very friendly and very customer service oriented.

Not only is this an amazing atmosphere to catch a flick,but it's right in the downtown core,close to all your amenities,and there is even a dollarama down stairs where you can pick up all your snacks,if sneaking into a movie theater with snacks not purchased at their vendors is your thing. This cinema is pretty decent for its central location. I've watched a number of movies here recently and it has consistently been an enjoyable experience. That said, during the colder months, we were sitting in the seats to the back and started feeling cold air being blown in. It was busy but it's in a central location, staff where friendly, the VIP seats where good we had the front row as that's all that was available but the seats reclined all the way so you your basically lying down which made the viewing much better. The 3D aspect was okay at that range but after a while i had to take them of for a minute, my wife however was fine the whole way through so that may have just been me.

Really is just an OK cinema. You'd expect better audio and video from them since they are right at the core of Downtown, but nope, audio sucks, the theater is way too huge for how small the screen is. You'd never felt immersive watching movies here.

He staff was nice enough but the theatre it's self was poorly kept. Literally every game in the arcade stopped working half way though and when I told the manager all he had to say was "oh that's strange someone was just in to service those machines. " when I buy tokens to play arcade games I at least expect them to work. For one of the busiest intersections in Toronto, you would think cineplex would spend some more money keeping their facilities updated and serviced.

I have yet to try the vip theatre here but aside fomr that this cineplex is absolutly awfle in my opinion. Most of their theatres are used as class rooms in the morning for ryerson university and therefore the seats are absolutely ruined. There is gum in the back of most chairs. The chairs themselves have ruined and old fabric and their cushions ate mostly destroyed, making your theater experience a glute workout.

Our go to place for movies. This large theatre complex offers regular theatres, VIP and the new 4DX (feel and smell the movie). We mostly use the VIP; great theatre with comfy chairs, in seat service before the movie which offers your regular fare and alcohol drinks and full fledge food. 4DX is a great experience as you feel the motion of the movies and smell of the movies. Again, chairs are big and comfy. The reason for the lower rating is eventually you will need to go to the washroom. The washroom by the VIP is in horrible condition. Stall doors that don't lock, stall walls that are coming off the wall, and unclean. With the prices that we pay, this is something that should be kept up.

There isn't much that separates one movie theatre from another as most of the memories come from the experience of the movie itself, unless the experience is less than stellar. So, my only nitpick is that the VIP seats are not as comfortable as other VIP seats (Yonge and Eglinton VIP). The seats don't have an auto reclining option or a leg support while the chairs from Yonge and Eglinton do. Nevertheless, the rest of the area is your typical theatre. Watch a good movie and the theatre won't matter too much.

Anyone giving the VIP here a good rating has never been outside of downtown, clearly. Worst VIP experience ever. First, they were out of every appetizer except fries. But the kicker - they aren’t even the proper vip seats. They don’t recline, there’s no leg room. False advertising IMO. After going to VIPs at Markham, don mills, eglinton, Sheppard, even Vancouver British Columbia, I have an expectation on what a vip seat is - and this theater does not have it. I was uncomfortable (less comfortable than the non-vip seats) for the full 2 hours of Shang-Chi. Make this a proper VIP theater, consistent with every other location you have, and then you can justify charging me $23 - the same price of every other VIP with proper seats. Until then, byeeeeeeee

I've recently seen movies there in VIP, 3D, and 4D. Two of those were for Solo. Solo was a great movie, it's only flaw was Disney didn't advertise it enough after Ron Howard fixed all the problems. Solo is the most underrated Star Wars, and maybe most underrated sci fi movie, ever.

This is probably my favorite Cineplex in Toronto. The staff have always been great, the place is clean, the popcorn fresh. The location is what sets this cinema apart. It's fun for kids to take the many long escalators up to the theatre at the top floor. The Eaton Centre of course is right across the street, so families can easily make a day of hanging around, catching a movie then heading to the Disney Store etc to get some related merchandise from your kids new favorite film.

Great theater in the heart of downtown Toronto. Ideally located at Dundas subway station, which is adjacent to the Eaton Center and Dundas Square. The theater's screens are large and the seats are comfortable. It's usually not too busy, but you should come at least 15min before the movie time to be safe.

I bought my tickets on Tuesday afternoon, online as I usually do. "Skip the box office line" was the marketing copy. When we got to the theatre, four of the eight available automated ticket machines had crashed, and there was a crowd of hundreds of people waiting in a massive, disorganized mob for the remaining four. Two of the six tills at the box office were unstaffed. I waited in line for twenty minutes in order to pick up the tickets I bought hours earlier, nearly missing the start of the film. I'd recommend never visiting this theatre again, except this was the only theatre within in ten miles that was playing the film I wanted to see, because of the way Cineplex programs their theatres. I've never seen a more poorly run theatre in my long filmgoing experience. The incompetence at work is truly stunning. It's as if everyone shows up each Tuesday ready for a quiet, uneventful shift and is stunned to discover thousands of paying customers who just want to get inside and sit down, but can't because of obvious and easily corrected logistical problems. Please avoid this place at any cost.

As much as I love a small local cinema, I've gotta admit I love earning and using Scene points, and I love the VIP theatres. Being able to have a drink, sit in a comfy chair with lots of space between the stranger next to me–it's truly a privilege and a luxury. Of course, tickets and food and drinks are all overpriced, but that is to be expected at movie theatres these days. The bigger theatres are kept up very well, with no tears on the screens, dust/dirt on the projectors, and decent upkeep of the chairs. Ryerson students have some morning lectures in the Cineplex Yonge & Dundas and the theatres rented out to the school are not kept in as good condition, with many broken chairs and lots of stains on the carpet.

Suggest you bring in snacks. be careful about their VIP listings as sometimes they show up as standard online but you get there and are forced to buy VIP ticket. AVOID THIS LOCATION. Went to see Aladdin which is quite a new film. The ticket stated Auditorium 23, but when we got there they had Raptors fans lined up waiting to watch the game, The manager came and took us back downstairs and told us that Aladdin would now be showing in Auditorium 22, which was much much smaller for such a new film. I was so frustrated with my experience there. It honestly ruined our evening. We were so excited to watch Aladdin and they had us walking up and down trying to figure out where to put us. I felt ripped off for watching a new movie in such a small screened auditorium. On top of that, one of your customers berated me for "cutting the line" as your manager there was leading me to the front. It just really soured the evening. Not going back here.

The VIP experience isn't as nice as other locations. The newer venues have heated and mechanical reclining seats. The Fishbowl drink indeed lasts for a 3 hour movie. The Wednesday dinner and a movie night was definitely worth it and I hope to do it again soon.

A theatre within a theatre. That was cool. A bit confusing though haha. But the seats were comfy and the food and drinks were fire. My only minor issue was that it took forever for our drinks to arrive. But there’s a massive worker shortage so I’m obviously not blaming the theatre or employees. Just a warning not to expect 2-3 drinks before the movie!

VIP lounge is always great, even when seat service is not the best (but that probably has to do with being short staffed on occasion). The rest of the staff keep all the theatres in good condition and are happy to help with any problems that may arise. Only downside is that the machine to print off your ticket is usually not working.

Compared to other Cineplexs in the city, this one was by the worst one ive been to. Really dirty theatres. We havent come back after to this theatre in quite some time as their is cleaner ones else where. we were in a very filthy theatre the last time we came and it made watching the movie very uncomfortable. You guys are in the core of downtown im sure you guys can hire a few more staff member to ensure proper clean ups before a movie starts.

We went to the IMAX here to watch Joker here last month, October 8 and man disappointed is an understatement. NOT by the movie but the movie hall. The seat rows are cramped so close to each other that almost every row is staring at a head in front of them. NO!I dont mean really tall people come to watch a movie here, the theater is just designed that way. The bottom 15% of the screen is blocked by the seats (not people, so its blocked even if the seat in front of you is empty.) And add some more "blockage" for the heads of anyone taller than 5.5 feet sitting in front of you. I'm devastated that I wasted more than 70 CAD to go and watch a movie here for an IMAX experience that was the worst ever I've had across 3 continents.

I've been in love with 4dx movies for a while now but last night I was so disappointed. I went to go see a 4dx movie (glass) and it wasn't even 3D. It was a regular movie! Basic. No seat movements no effects. Long story short, we paid almost 100$ for something that should have costed 30$or something. I called customer service though and they sent me 2 free passes to any movies including 4dx. So be aware, 4dx has to be 3d with effects inside. If it's not call CS and get your money back (or free passes). Note: took one start off because sometimes the scent feature and water feature are empty in the theatre but the end of the day which is disappointing because I like to go to the late night ones. Please fix that issue.

I came here especially from Scarborough just to enjoy 4DX experience for the first time with my friends and it was a nightmare they were just inclined on saving money by keeping the water spray off and many other sensors disabled. I felt cheated not even a penny value to the money experience. It ruined the experience for the movie for us.

Didn't realize we bought VIP tickets. Hadn't been to the movies in a while. Thought, "wow, prices sure went up!" 'And since when did you choose seating for a movie." ...kind of wish I had been warned / informed when purchasing the tickets. Like when I asked about the movie, the cashier could have pointed out that the show time we were asking about was only for the VIP seating... but we enjoyed the experience overall. Squeeky seats and all. When I probably wouldn't have ever made that choice on my own.

Went to see a 4D movie on a Tuesday, bought the tickets online, but the line up to pick up e-tickets was bonkers! Go early, even if you bought your ticket and reserved a seat! I really enjoyed the 4D movie experience. I saw Rogue One with some friends. All the flying scenes were really enhanced by the moving seats. One big downside was that my taller friends were really uncomfortable in the seats. The seats have a foot rest that is NOT ADJUSTABLE, which led to cramped up legs for anyone around or over 6 feet tall.

A great cinema to go to and been watching movies for years here. My recommendation for this place is to watch films in their 3D 4DX, especially action films. It's definitely worth the price because the experience of your chair moving, effects, and comfortable setting is well worth it. One of my favorite films to watch in 3D 4DX was Mission Impossible Fall out. Extra Tip: Collect Scene Points and redeem at this theater to get discounts on VIP, food, and shows and even if you got enough you can literally watch movies for free by using your points.

Come here a lot since the show times are often better than Scotiabank. Also frequent the VIP showings since the seats are so much more comfortable. The food is almost surprisingly good, they have a beyond/impossible (?) Meat burger which I enjoyed. Their cocktails are pretty good, had some peach slush thing last time which was super tasty. There's so many food options around and the subway is right there super convenient.

Such a great experience! This was my first time going to this Cineplex and I can easily say it was much nicer than others I’ve been to. Not only is it conveniently located, but it’s really easy getting tickets and entering in. All workers checked vaccination receipts correctly and wouldn’t let you enter without proof of vaccination. I went to see The French Dispatch which was located on the upper level. The theatre was kept quite clean and I had no complaints. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Their “IMAX” is closer to a “LIE-MAX” - it’s not a full sized IMAX screen. Seating is old and tired. Staff don’t even do cursory monitoring - four fellows sat in the back of Infinity War this afternoon playing with their phones while chatting with each other. Several people in the audience told them to button it but they kept right on talking.

I've got to say this theatre is quickly becoming my multiplex of choice when I'm downtown. If it's raining outside you can access it quickly from the underground and if it's not, you pop up in the hustle and bustle of the chaotic downtown! But the real reason this theatre gets me excited is the Digital Screens. I don't know if it's because it's new, but I have to say, they look fantastic! The sound isn't the loudest and that's not always a bad thing. And now that they've added the VIP treatment, forget about it! My favourite theatre will probably always be the Cineplex closer to home, but when I'm leaving work and taking transit, this is by far the best choice. Convenience maybe, but it feels more upscale than the other options.

The complex was really easy to find. It was in a much bigger building than I had expected. I sort of thought there would be no signs and it would be really unclear but it wasn’t at all. The movie theatre was very clean and social distancing was maintained the entire time. Cineplex seems to do a really great job with that. I watched the staff clean the seats when the movie was over since I still till the very end was impressed.

The only reason this place is getting 4 stars out of me is because of their VIP theatre. The rest of the place is a total dump with way too much of a student/bro vibe. Not to mention the aggressive bums that stagger in and out of the sliding doors. That said, I love that big screen in the VIP. It's probably the best in the city and just about the only way I would ever watch a MARVEL movie. Because there's only a couple dozen people in there it's less likely that I'll be sick.

Cineplex Cinemas Yonge-Dundas is perfectly accessible via a nearby subway station. There are several great bars and restaurants around. There are sixteen cinemas and the most interesting thing is that they also screen great Chinese and Korean movies with English subtitles which are a very welcome change from the usual bland Hollywood blockbusters. The only downside are the prices with a regular ticket being as expensive as fourteen dollars.

Great theater with wide selection of films. Always a very comfortable and clean experience. The IMAX is good but doesn't have the full 4:3 aspect ratio that the Cineplex Scotiabank Theatre has. I saw Dune at both theaters in IMAX and the Dundas Cineplex didn't have that aspect ratio that many scenes were shot for. The whole film was in wide screen so you didn't get the whole picture in those IMAX scenes. The IMAX screen at the Dundas Cineplex also seems lower than it should be. If there was a 4.5 star rating, I would give it. The IMAX just isn't quite up to par. Everything else, no complaints!

Very spacious here. You can choose either standard, IMAX or 3-D, or even 4-D! Eaton Centre, Best Buy, Canadian Tire and amazing restaurants are in close proximity, so this theatre location is great for many reasons.

My kids love the cinema experience including the arcade before and after a show. The arcade at this theatre is considerably lacking. Nearly two thirds of the arcade games available to play were out of order. If this business is interested in entertainment and attracting the masses they need to make the arcade a priority.

I go to many different Ciniplex VIP theatres and the Yonge-Dundas experience was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Very charismatic bunch, and really went above and beyond taking my order. I only wish the entire theatre reclined (only the front row does) otherwise it is an amazing place to go watch a movie.

So this theater is great with friendly staff and lots of different sized theaters for a variety of different films. This is also a VIP Theater so there's a bunch of smaller theaters where you can also have alcohol as you watch your shows which is great. It's located on the 4th floor of Yonge and Dundas Square and it's right next door to to chain restaurants so it's great for having drinks or snacks after the theater as well.

This location is on the top floor of the building at Yonge and Dundas square. The first floor has a Starbucks, retail shopping on second and third is two restaurants and this cinema. The place is pretty great as you can have dinner and walk right to the movies. We usually pre buy from the kiosks at the front to avoid standing in lines. Just a side note: if you’re watching the last, late night show. Don’t be late for the movie as they’ll close the entrance very quickly as the last show begins.

I was there yesterday for John Wick 3 VIP show and it was awesome. The staff at the VIP lounge and the environment was super welcoming, calm and one can enjoy the drinks and even have food. The movie was simply ‘WOW’ as always Baba Yaga and some real action....can’t wait to go back again and watch VIP show. It’s dope. Simply Spectacular experience.

The theatre itself is conveniently located in the downtown core, is always clean with friendly staff. However, my experience at the concession stand has irked me so much I feel inclined to write this interview. Yesterday I waited in line for close to 25 minutes just to order popcorn and a soft drink. This has unfortunately been my experience at this theatre the last four times I've been here, and needless to say I will not be visiting again.

My second favourite cineplex to go to ( first is the Queensway one). They have a food court below so it's good for quick bites. Some of the seating are super nice like the red ones. The screens are medium size. Great place to catch a movie with your babe.

The price is a little bit expensive comparate to others movies theaters.

Although the IMAX theatre is a LIEmax, aka it is not the actual IMAX size but a lot smaller... I'd say it's still a great theatre. The staff members there show respect to the customers; I needed to get a movie refunded and they did it without any hiccups.

I just wanted to say that the past few times I've been to your theater, I've noticed that there was not enough people doing there jobs on the floor. I noticed one girl in particular that seemed to be doing way more work because some employees were slacking off and having her do more of the work. As someone who works in retail I'd hope you notice that it is not fair for some employees to have to work harder because others are slacking. As managers you should be paying more attention to what goes on in your theater.

Personally, I've never been to a movie here, but I have been in quite a few of the individual cinemas - there are at least 24 and are kg a moderate size, being up to about 200 people. Seats are quite comfy. Snacks and beverages can be bought. Recently they added a couple arcade games.

The Cineplex at Yonge and Dundas is a pretty solid one: there are IMAX offerings, VIP, classic films and foreign films. The theatres are in pretty good condition. The one strike against it is it can be a little unclean: it's a busy theatre and sometimes the bathrooms can get pretty gross, for example. Aside from that, solid theatre.

Maybe 8 of us in a theatre built for 100+ (VIP theatre - I believe there was something like 20 seats available online) so the spirit of social distancing was there. No pre-screening questions were asked. Employees were on-hand until the movie started to make sure everyone was in their seats...but as soon as they left, a couple moved in to my row in their improper seats. No theatre checks/employees ever came back in. After we exited, we saw a few employees chatting at the bar with their masks around their chins. Basically, if you're interested in the COVID safety measures, they're trying but falling short.

Love this theatre.. I have only experience VIP here, VIP works out to always be amazing for me. Big spacious amd comfy clean seats, the seats have a cup holder and a place to eat that can be pull in front of you to eat and push back when finish. I love how the arm rest in the middle can move so you can snuggle closer, lots of leg room. The Vip menu is full of delicious options some of them vegetarian and it all comes to you right in your seat, even a alcohol beverage too 19+. All the staff in the Vip area is very nice and helpful especially the one who takes my order always so nice. Not alot of seats so not too many people, meaning less noise and it's adult only. Love seeing my movies here.

This movie theatre is in an excellent location, once you enter the building just keep going up! If you're on a dinner and a movie sort of date this is a great location to pick as it is surrounded by so many wonderful places to eat. The foyer and concession itself is clean and the staff is knowledgable, the IMAX theatre we were in was clean but we just so happened to pick the row of seats that was a tad lower then everywhere else and made it a little hard to see. Won't be picking that row again, other than that it's a theatre in an excellent location with great amenities.

I came here often as they have the VIP cinemas. Wanted to try the 4DX recently but the projector broke down so we were given free movie passes and were sent on our way. Service is good in the VIP section but staff seem rather clueless in the regular section. Wish they would take away plates before the movie starts.

This is a very good theater. I have been here numerous times over the years when in the Yonge-Dundas area. The seats in the theatre are comfortable and the temperature is appropriate year-round. If you want to catch a flick, you cannot go wrong with this place.

Its an okay cineplex. It has mostly vip. They play anime and other movies here. Only annoying thing is if its a big movie its gonna draw a crowd so if you are gonna see some big anime movie or some marvel.movie come early.

Review of the VIP theatre: In general we liked having the comfortable seating and food and drink options. The food is a little on the high end but not terrible given that you're a captive audience. It ends up costing what you would pay at a mid-range restaurant. This leads to my somewhat disappointed experience though. If you're going to capture you're audience, they need to feel like you're providing good options. One of the dishes that uses real food (quinoa and veggies etc.) was sold out. Sour cream that came with the nachos was still frozen. Fake cream instead of real whipped cream was used on an $11 drink. Just in general a little more attention to the quality of the food would go a long way.

good theatre. I've really only stopped by for the VIP and for 4DX otherwise I go someplace closer. But for those locations the seats are VERY plus and spacious. It's an expensive but very excellent experience. VIP seats especially are luxurious. No bumping elbows with your neighbors here. and 4DX is horrifically named as it implies movies jump into the fourth dimension when really they just engage 4 senses (sight, sound AND smell and touch[via motion chairs]) I saw Black Panther in 4DX and it was an excellent experience. I also like that the lighting also responds to the movie. I saw Rise of the Skywalkers in VIP and while it was annoying that someone fell asleep and started snoring I can't fault any experience provided by the theatre.

I always go to this Cinema to watch movies. It's conveniently located at the corner of Dundas and Yonge Street where the subway is. I watched the James Bond movie "No Time To Die" in the Imax Theatre. The place, as always, is clean and tidy. The washroom too. I think the management is really serious in keeping this place in a great shape. Highly recommended.

this is my first time attending a vip movie and the theatre is brilliant but i got really upset because the lady hien t refused to take my order. im disabled and it really upsets me when people go out of there way to ignore me. i checked her name 20 minutes later and she finally took my order. but it was 20 minutes late, i am associated with march of dimes and help other young adults with disabilities so this really upset me. but the theatre is amazing, im excited to watch bumblebee

This venue takes advantage of its location and only shows the most sought after films in either IMAX or their VIP option. I don't really care about the fancy add-ons so I wouldn't bother coming here to pay extra. Other than that, the theatres itself are well maintained. Be sure to purchase tickets in advanced if you're planning to watch a movie on a Friday night, or go an hour early. It can get really busy!

Your typical music theatre in a mall-like place. Lots of restaurants and access to PATH and the subway just underneath it. However, you need to go through a lot of escalators in order to get to it, and there aren’t adequate signs to assure you that you aren’t lost. Also, for those of you who have just finished shopping at Eaton Centre, there isn’t any signage of getting from there to here underground, despite sharing the same subway station.

We visited for a tenet re-watch during the covid era and ended getting a private viewing - we were the only people in the 4DX theatre. If you haven't been to a 4DX, go for it! Pick a good action movie and have the seats move along with the camera angles :) Another plus point of 4DX is that you get to reserve your seats in advance (unlike the other screens which are first come serve basis) Centrally located, plenty of food courts to grab a bite. They don't have an IMAX screen though.

There's a Green P Parking right across the street (underneath the Square), and an above ground parking lot a little down Victoria Street. Would also recommend the Caribbean Queen place inside the theatre. Great food!

VIP theaters are a great choice for those special movies you are really looking forward to. Reserved seating, adults-only, comfortable, wide seats, legroom and even the ability to order food and drinks. Food and drinks are theater-priced though but all of the other benefits are already worth it.

Amazing experience in this location. The theater is very clean and it has a great air conditioning system. IMAX experience is excellent in this location as the picture and sound quality is just phenomenal. I would like to point out and highlight that this theater provides international movies (Asian and Indian). I really do appreciate this theater supporting international movies as I enjoy watching them. Thumbs up to whoever is choosing which movie to put on the theater. I watch movies from here almost every weekend, and I had no issues regarding VIP (remember to bring ID), 4DX, food, etc. The only issue I had was there were some delay for The Incredibles 2 but they gave free ticket to everyone after, which was great.

Theater is okay. You would expect it to be a bit easier to access being right in the centre of downtown Toronto but after, God knows how many escalator trips you manage to find this theater and really... It isn't anything special. You might as well go to any Cineplex in the GTA at this point, at least they may not have a gazillion escalators ????

I usually go there in the middle of the day, and almost the entire theater was empty when I was there. One thing I don't like is that sometimes they only have on option for a movie, so like it's only showing in 3D or it is only showing in ultra-avx. Which is fine most of the times but some movies aren't worth watching in 3D or VIP and just want to pay normal admission.

One of the cleaner/well maintained cinemas in the city. Outside of VIP there are not many snack options. The soft pretzels are surprisingly good. Although they don't seem to be available all the time. As for the VIP... I haven't been in a few month, maybe it has improved. It wasn't bad.. The seats were comfortable. The beer was similar pricing/selection of brands that you'd find at a sports bar. The "better quality food" still seemed like it came pre-cooked, was fried and thrown on a plate. It's difficult to justify the cost, and it's a far cry from some of the restaurant/theatre concepts you see in the US. Maybe a good use of built up SCENE points... Although, now that it cost 2000 SCENE points to claim a free VIP movie even that's debatable.

There are around 24 screens in this Cineplex. It's near Yonge-Dundas square. I always pay 14$ for most of the Indian movies. You will get Dollarama in same building, go for shopping and watch movie and have some food. ????????

Never had a bad exp here. Touch wood. One time (at band camp. Every time I say or some else says one time, in my head I'm like at band camp) this guy W's drunk and created. Lot of issues during a movie and at the of the movie the manager apologized to all and gave us all a free movie coupon for next time. Always been great with service and GREAT LOCATION guys. Smack in the middle of everything. Not like a lonely building with vast parking lot around it. That depresses me. This is pretty cool. Connected to TTC and everything else. Love to watch movies here. Even if the movie is not great, this location makes it worth it. Cheers.

Came here to watch the animated film 'Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse' which I would highly recommend for those into Spiderman - really great film with an uplifting and positive message which is needed in this current society. In regards to the theatre itself, it's alright, your standard Cineplex Odeon though admittedly I haven't explored it all that much (not my regular theatre to be honest) however it does have a VIP section upstairs so may be more fancy then I expected, lol. The theatres are located on the top floor, so up past the food court, and therefore up a lot of escalators or one elevator ride away. It is conveniently located near Yonge-Dundas Square which makes it a busy spot but you're also close to a plethora of shopping and restaurants so you have options to spare!

A nice cinema, that takes quite a few escalators to get to. The staff were nice and there are many screens which is nice. However some of the screens aren't too goo. I was waiting to watch a movie and after the Ryerson class left I entered a small theater and the screen had a small white mark that stood out the whole time. The place also has a nice lobby to wait for your movie.

Convenient location for watching movies. However, management is so dead beat and does not understand how to do customer service. I ordered VIP tickets through a very user unfriendly app for my girlfriend and I to watch Mission Impossible (As a side note, whoever designed that cineplex app should be fired). After we got to the movie theatre, we were not allowed to go in because we did not have IDs and apparently there is a bar in the VIP area. First of all, I'm 29 and look nothing like I'm 19. Secondly, if bringing an ID is a barrier for me to enter the "VIP" area it should be in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS ON THE TICKET or CLEARLY INDICATED WHILE I AM BUYING! Lastly, Why would I drink at the movie theatre? If I wanted to I would just go to a bar. The VIP manager with blonde hair had no customer service ability and simply repeatedly said she would lose her job if she let me in. In all seriousness I suggested that you accompany me to my seat and make sure I am not drinking. I'm here for the movie not for you lazy attempt to make money off of alcohol. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and hire more competent people to provide customer service and app design. AT THE VERY LEAST, let the customer know that we have to bring an ID to a friggin' movie theatre, FML.

Great, but Cineplex is probably the most conspicuous example of a monopoly in private Canadian business. The competition laws are vague, but what it comes down to is when I decide to see a movie do I have clear choices between competitors. Also, 10 movies at $15 bucks a pop is also too many before a free one via loyalty. I consider 6 to be standard, plus minus 1.

Went to see Just mercy with my girlfriend. Movie was great, popcorn was standard however, there was a significantly loud drilling noise that was very distracting during the movie and made the experience rather unpleasant. You would think a theater that promotes quietness during movies would offer guests the same courtesy.

Wow, this place has really declined in the past few years. The experience no longer feels VIP at all. First of all, the VIP cinemas share a bathroom with the rest of the theatre. And they were absolutely disgusting during tonight's visit. Also the theatre itself is pretty worn down. Even the churros, which used to come with 3 flavours of dipping sauce now only come with one. The service however is still as good as ever. Their staff are genuinely friendly and polite. They were the only redeeming part of the experience.

Edit: Went to Incredibles 2 and a few minutes into the movie the sound and movie completely stopped. After 5 minutes of sitting in a dark theater an employer finally turns on the lights and tells us that the movie will be delayed by "5-10 minutes". 25 minutes later the movie was finally able to start again. The edit and the updated review is because they contacted us afterwards and apologized which I felt was good of them.

Worst VIP experience I have had. The Theatre I was in did not even have adjustable chairs neither did I feel NY particular special treatment. I was told the room of my movie was the first test VIP experience so it was lacking some. Features. I say management needs to downgrade that room to normal movie watchers.

Had a fantastic experience, even using my scooter going to the VIP showing of Rocketman. Went on a "Tuesday" and took a friend. Drinks and food are very good and reasonably priced. Of course a tip, in the lounge area certainly won't hurt when you're order from your seat. These are after all the latest batch of university kids and need the extra coins! Great selection of food's, wines and cocktails, all made and presented very nicely, on your very own seat table. A tidy, very nice place to enjoy a night out. Fantastic image and very high-quality sound makes, your evening outing a fantastic experience. I would definitely do this again and will, when the new Downton Abby is released. It's a very comfortable and relaxed environment indeed and they look after you no matter what your needs are! Just make sure to "Silence your Damn Phone" my Idiot friend did not and that wasn't pleasant for anyone. Being all of 70, he should have know much better.

One of my favourite theaters!!! Please plan accordingly though as its a very busy place in a crowded tourist attraction area. It is the only theater as far as I know in the city that has 4DX which is a must try if you have never been. Friendly staff, clean, good food selection as well. I recommend buying tickets ahead of time if you can as it also offers reserved seating for certain shows/auditoriums.

The movie experience was great! The booking process to the final seating was flawless. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the audience. People did not follow the suggested seating which made us a little uncomfortable. One person was literally on the next seat in the row below which definitely was not 6 feet. Cineplex is not at fault; however I feel there should be a person in charge like a ticket checker who comes 2-3 times, once at the start, once around the middle and once a random check to see if people haven't moved spots. I know its a big ask but given the current scenario I feel more regulation is required. I would recommend people to go and watch movies and support the Industry! Thank you Cineplex!

The new normal limited customers. Although they limited the number of people in the theater they did not ensure that people were in their assigned seats. I was in row J there were two people in the row in front and 2 seats over from me Definitely not where they were supposed to be and not at least 2 m away. I don't see the sense of assigning seats that are spaced out if they do not ensure that people are going into their assigned seats.

One of my favorite VIP areas. Pretty bustley chill bar which is perfect for a date. I'm actually sitting here right now and ordered some food and a drink. The staff are really helpful and the food is always good. Usually in VIP you are sacrificing the screen for comfort but not here, the screens are huge and amazing quality. So yeah, if you like having a beer with your movie check it out. Don't be the guy that eats a rack of ribs during the commercials though, I can't get behind that.

This theatre used to be better when it was AMC however screen sizes are small including some auditorium rooms. Recommend Scotiabank Theatre over this place!

Don't buy the popcorn. It's awful! Else this theater is a great place to visit. I wish the seats would be more comfotable and could recline as the once in Scotiabank do but this'll have to do. Oh and The UltraAVX and VIP screens are outstanding and make going to the movies a thrill and joy!

I love the location of this theatre. My family and I attended many movies once the lockdown lifted in the summer and the theatres were spotlessly clean and not crowded. We really appreciated the $5 movies. This was a very safe and socially distanced activity and I hope the theatres in Toronto are able to open up again really soon.

Large chain movie theatre located above a food and adjacent to a few bars and restaurants. During the evening, it's heavily crowded with long lines. Ticket prices are something not worth mentioning. Pedestrian flow funnels moviegoers to the third floor with escalators. Only one elevator in service. Bit inconvenient.

This was my very first VIP Cineplex. It changed how I went to movies, but I hadn't been back to this specific VIP in years. I still love VIP Cineplex. Arrived, hung out in the lounge, got a drink, ordered food, watched a movie in a very comfortable chair. Sadly not a power recliner, but still very comfortable. Food was easy and fast and pretty good. The staff was all very friendly and competent. Downside, straw in my water that I didn't ask for.

I saw TENET movie here they didn't even spray water and also most of the promised experience was not delivered it was totally waste of money and the embarassment I have to feel in front of my friends whom I suggested to watch 4DX and promised them it would be a great experience but instead it was just paramount of disappointment. Pretty good theatre. I've been in the VIP a couple times and can say it's worth it on a cheap night. However the older theatres are beginning to age with broken seats and junky lighting. It's a good choice if the Scotiabank theatre isn't playing the movie you want, otherwise make the trek across town for a cleaner environment.

in an attempt to recoup what is probably expensive rent, all the good films are only shown in their 'VIP' theatre which is significantly pricier but allows you to have food/drink delivered to your seat. Budget movie-goers go elsewhere.

The theater was ok. Concessions were disappointing and limited. Nachos are too big to dip in the little cheese cup. Servings are small. A can of beer is $10. Just go to the LCBO and carry it in. ???? No food options like poutine or pizza. The staff are friendly though. Can people please try to be more courteous during a movie. Don't talk and crinkle things during the movie. And please don't turn on your phone screen on full brightness and take your time texting once the lights are off. Have some courtesy for others who are there to enjoy the movie.

The 4DX is a great auditorium to experience a movie. Usually this auditorium usually have more behaved patrons who want to enjoy the movie experience. Tip: Make sure the seat in front of you do not hang their coat/jackets over the seats. The reason is the air and other goodies come out from the seat in front of you. The jackets/coats will block it from coming. I normally walk down the aisle to enjoy there are no jackets. I just wish there was signage to this affect. Tip: If you see little kids in camp/bday get a refund and change theatre because the first 30 minutes you will hear "ohhhhhhhh" "aaaaahhhhh" really loud as it will probably be their first time experience these effects and they can get over hyper. I was in an auditorium when they had a BDay and they literally came in when the movie started and then brought a tray of popcorn in front of the theatre and all you can see and hear were kids stomping to the front of the screen to get popcorn and their drinks. This is unnacceptable especially when you pay $25. I left the auditorium and switched to IMAX. IMAX is a great auditorium and any big action film should really be watched here. **TUESDAY EVENING*** avoid like a plague unless you like chatty audience members and lights from cellphone. **AVOID TUESDAY EVENING and FRIDAY EVENING** on scary movies cause that's when little girls act really scared really loud in the auditorium to probably seek the attention of their friends only to NOT realize the come across as dumb and annoying. Nachos/Hot Dog are more hits than misses. Sometimes they prep the tray of nachos and it sits in tupperwares and the chips become a little stale. The cheese is good and the jalapenos are excellent! BATHROOM - - WHY DO THEY BUILD BATHROOM STALLS FOR PEEPING TOMS? SOME STALLS HAVE NO PRIVACY AS THE GAP BETWEEN THE DOORS AND THE STALL IS HUGE. IF IM SITTING ON THE TOILET I WOULD PREFER NO ONE TO BE ABLE TO SEE ME TAKE A DUMP. PLEASE FIX YOUR DOORS AT ALL YOUR LOCATIONS. AND HOW ABOUT DIVIDERS BETWEEN ALL THE URINALS AT ALL YOUR LOCATIONS. WHAT HAPPENED TO PRIVACY? THEY ONLY JUNK I WANNA SEE IS JUNK FOOD AT YOUR CONCESSION STAND. PLEASE AND THANK YOU.

Really squeaky chairs made it tough to do something as simple as breathing/contracting in your seat. We left movie very early because of this. But we received free movie tickets for next time... won't be going to same theater. Oil your seats!

I think it's the biggest cinema in downtown. It has avx/dbox/imax/4dx. Only thing that kinda bugs me is 4dx screen resolution is bellow standard screen resolution. Like if you watch a movie in standard you will notice small details like tattoos but in 4dx you will not see it or it will be really blurry. I have noticed that a few times already.

I have never had a bad experience at this theatre! It's very convenient and on the Ryerson campus. Every time I have gone, the staff were friendly. There is never a line to buy tickets. This theatre is kept very clean too.

If you are looking for one of the not so major movies, it will be playing here. Nice theatres including the fancy deluxe 3D types. Right above the food court so you can get some real food without the inflated price before the movie. You can get to the theatre from the Dundas Subway station without going outside.

Great theatre. First time there, so was a bit surprised to have to take either 5 or 6 escalators to get to it. But overall clean, attentive staff. Only thing is seats are very small, so you are touching the person next to you the entire time.

The cineplex is quite nice. The location is very convient because it's right next to a subway station and there many resturants located right next to it. The downside is that it's located at the top of the building so you would have to take 3 escalators to reach it...so if you are afraid of heights this may not be a theatre you want to go to watch your movie.

Everything's fine, except the bloody seat! What is with the crouching kind suitable for 5 ft women, Cineplex minions?! ???????? Cut us, 6 ft men, some slack as well. Damn ye, merciless heathens! Everything was so squished and all. The 2-piece seats are the best. One goes back and the bum piece slides forward, not like this. Anyway, 1917 was beyond beautiful! Joaquin may take his Oscar, but 1917 surely doth deserveth every other award! Saving Private Ryan! Dunkirk! 1917! Amen!

The seats don't have a reclining button, you just push back against them. So after doing that for two hours you'll be sore in your neck. Most VIP cinemas have the electric recliners.

The movie theatre equivalent of the Queen & Spadina McDonalds. Do not go here to see Spider Man in the IMAX / AVX theatre. The picture is okay but the sound is blown out, poorly mixed, and dangerously loud. On top of all that, it attracts the most irritating crowd. Loud talkers, seat kickers, edge-lords — you name it. Nice staff. Feel bad for what they have to put up with.

10 Dundas St. is right across the street from Dundas Square. There is always something going on over there. The Cineplex theatre is almost cavernous inside. there are over 20 screening rooms, all with stadium seating, and there is the VIP section. The VIP does NOT allow anyone under 19. They server beer, wine, and cocktails, along with some of the most lavish theatre cuisine. You can buy tickets online, or right at the kiosks at the entrance. The VIP requires advance reservations.

Super disorganized, they let in people with or without # of dosis or enough proof of vaccine and even if you are vaccinated they don't let you in, but people who have not enough proof of vaccine and they are not from Ontario or even from Canada, they will be let in the cinemas, just like as well, there is no protocols or controls for covid what so ever at all, is like as if there is no virus or that the pandemic is non existant there or that the entire employees from that Cineplex forgot that there is a pandemic still and there is protocols that needs to be followed.

Honestly, if I could give this place negative stars I would, its beyond horrible. I noticed the first red flag when I was in lineup for showing proof of vaccination and ID. I saw them accept photos of ID instead of hard copies. This is not how checking ID works. You cannot just show the cashier at the liquor store a photo of your ID. Also, I witnessed a manager, Bhupesh, let in a potential customer without checking their ID. AND THEN, if that wasn't enough, nothing in the theatre was clean. There was popcorn underneath my seat. The was dirt and food on the floor of the lobby everywhere. I also overheard some of the workers complaining that their co-workers were taking hour long breaks. Why are workers going for such long breaks when there is obvious work to do? Jimmy out :(

Their auditoriums seem smaller than those of Scotiabank Theatre. I recently saw a movie there in the 4DX option and I gotta say it was pretty cool. The moving seats were great and so was the water effects. The strobe, scent, and smoke effects were kind of gimmicky.

I went here today. I went to the upstairs bar which apparently is a big issue if you are not watching a "VIP" movie. The guy asked to see our tickets and said "22 is over there" in the most condescending tone. We told him that we wanted to have a drink before the film and he told us our film started at 4:30.. and we already knew that. Mind you the place was completely empty.. so not sure why us wanting a drink more than 30 mins before our film started was an issuse. We then had our drink and left. Nowhere does it say that you must be a "VIP" to have a drink. I am not from Toronto but am here visiting and this was the worst service I have experienced thus far. Very disappointed.

Nice place to watch film and you can go shopping at Eaton centre. After that you can have a drink with your fiends in the bar in the same building. Easy to drive there and multiple parking lots and easy to take public transit to arrive there.

Cineplex Ticket cashier at this location not very attentive or welcoming. Not a great way to start patron's movie going experience, when you feel they're not that interested in people having a good time there. Designated seating was nice! Went to see a scary movie. Movie started. Attendant left the lights on. Two patrons had to go find someone to turn off the lights. Simple thing. Again, run by people who don't seem to care. Concession girl & ticket attendant were pleasant. They charge an extra $1 for butter on your popcorn now. Isn't food & drink expensive enough already? Feels like Cineplex is gouging and stingy on the service. Makes everyone think twice about going to the movies.

This cineplex is the best one in Toronto as it is the most central one in the Downtown location. Their VIP lounge is super lit. Their theatres are fabulous with Good staff = good housekeeping. Their 4D experience is simply the best. Its a must try. Cheers!

The VIP theaters always mess up my order. I have had the wrong salad served twice, calamari that was never served, meals never served, vouchers (from the previous issues) that their system wouldn’t accept for items that were listed on the menu in the categories and prices range on the vouchers. Arrive early if you want to order anything so you have time to correct the mistakes. The only thing that always comes as ordered is the popcorn. Also you have to tip the servers before receiving your food and they give you a hard time when you ask for a refund on the tip as well because they never brought your food.

We took Imax ticket to watch Spider man, 20 dollars per ticket. The seats and the configuration of the places are not well made, you can't see the lower part of the screen. Paying more to watch less of the movie ahah! Didn't try the VIP tickets, hope they have better view on the screen

Came to watch a movie in one of the VIP theaters, heat warning all day long and NO AC for the entire movie!!!!! What the heck is wrong with you!?!? ???????????? My worst experience so far in any cinema I've been around the world! (I did ask one of the employees to make sure to cool the theater before the movie began)
