Ticket prices are mostly on par with the bigger cinemas, however, you're paying for the one of a kind experience at Imagine Cinemas. And that experience is closely emulated to the comforts that you get at home, but on a bigger screen and impressive sound system. The big feature at Imagine Cinemas is the reserved, lazy-boy like recliners. They pivot at both your lower back, and at your knees providing - quite possibly - the best seating in any cinema I've been too. Add this to the generous screen size and the Dolby Atmos sound system and you forget you're not at one the bigger cinemas. Plus, they serve alcohol! My few reservations about Imagine Cinemas is that the ticket prices aren't the cheapest. Again, you're paying for the experience more than anything else, but it's a tough sell in a already tough market. That, and I hope they have a loyalty program soon, similar to that of the Scene card. Also, they don't have recent blockbusters until 4-8 weeks after their initial run, which is understandable because it's catering to a different kind of audience - one that enjoys the smaller movies.

Nice theatre, however their policies are an absolute joke. They closed the theatre due to a water leak a few seconds after I purchased my ticket and popcorn, and would not refund my food even though I had not even touched it yet. The manager decided not to tell anyone they were about to close the theatre just to steal money from us on food purchases, and then she kept repeating that "It's our policy." and displayed zero knowledge of customer service which was very disappointing.

Prices not advertised on their website which was frustrating but it is 8 dollars for kids, adults and seniors. Super comfy recliners. You select your seat with your ticket purchase which is nice. If you sit in the far back the bottom of the screen is somewhat obscured (as seen in picture) by recliners in the front so might be hard for a small child to see entire screen if sitting further back in theater. Popcorn combos decently priced (2 lrg pop and 2 lrg popcorn bags for $20 taxes in)

Great place. Theatre opens 15 minutes before the first show but the ticket machines are outside of the gate so you can get your ticket whenever the mall is open. Reclining seats are awesome. Will definitely keep an eye on what movies are there so I can go again.

This place is very nice it has big reclining seats which makes it feel like you are watching a movie in you bed. It is also nice because the seats are large there is a lot of separation between rows so you do not hurt your neck if you are in the front because if is placed at a good distance from the screen. The only problem I have with this place if the super serious about you bring in your on candy they look through your bags and purses and will take it out if you did not buy it their you will get if back after the movie but I think it is a little much.

It's a smaller theatre; so it's not as crowded. It has all the amenities of a larger theatre; and wonderful staff. I'm a bit of an introvert and had stopped going to movies because I found them crowded and noisy. This theatre is perfect; it's like seeing a movie like when I was a girl! The best part; comfy leather recliners making it seem like you're in your living room at home; but with the best view and great sound!! Definitely one of my favourites!????

Chairs are of course comfy, but the screens are a bit small. I'd suggest sitting a bit closer, considering that if you lower the seat too far, the seats in front of you will block a small bit of the screen.

I haven't been to the theatre yet, but have heard great things. One thing I can say, and agree with another review, the popcorn tastes much better than Silver City and as I walk through the mall to my vehicle after work, I can stop in and buy a bag of popcorn cheaper than Silver City.

Downtown Movie Lounge is a great place to watch a movie. The theatres are fairly small so you're always close to the screen. The screens are a bit smaller than the big chain, but they make up for that with an incredible sound system, and amazing leather reclining seats that are super comfortable. The price per ticket is slightly higher but the sound and the seats make it worthwhile. Popcorn is good too. Plus, they serve booze if you're into that

Very comfortable and it has selections that cineplex doesn’t. There is a bit of a vibe of distrust, though. There are signs warning that bags will be searched for contraband snacks and that putting your feet on the seats will get you kicked out.

Awesome cinema with well maintained electric recliners- definitely the most comfortable movie theater. There are also accessible spots and seats beside those reserved for people that may be accompanying some one that needs assistance. The only downside is the slim snack selection.

The best seating for any place to watch a movie! They recline and are wide enough to fit a small couple allowing us to snuggle ???? It's usually never busy here either so you basically get any seat you want ???? Also the nacho cheese here actually tastes like cheese and not what their serving at Silver city these days.. They play older yet still new releases which is nice for when you don't end up getting to see that movie you really wanted to when it first released

The popcorn tastes better because they use coconut oil and you get a free refill. I'd rather have that than a loyalty program any day. It"s cheaper than the AVX or 3D tickets and they don"t charge a package fee of $1 like the other theatre. Seats are light-years better with tons of leg room. There are no stairs to climb in the theatre. Parking is free when you show your ticket stub.

Comfortable seats Not sure that I would necessarily return although I love attending movies... I don't see why they think they have the right to look through my purse dot-dot. Should there be an issue they could ask. However they look through every single ladies purse after you purchased your tickets for the movie this should be done prior to purchasing the tickets as I would not have entered. Best movie theater in Sudbury...the lazy boy electric lean back chairs are superior to none..fully wheelchair and able body accessible...and the design of the theater allows for entrance at top row, no stairs, all ramps...wide spacing between each row, reasonable prices at snack bar, very friendly staff. What more can I say well...parking at Elm mall is compted ???? with movie ticket ...Can't wait for them to reopen, went once a week during covid, had the whole theater to ourselves.

While the seating and all that may be good the staff is rude and inconsiderate. They threaten to call security if you ask for a manager and demand you leave if your child walks around during a movie. They say it's against the rules but if you ask to see them they scoff and roll their eyes. Managers don't even wear name tags. Less than impressed. Will not be going back.
