They have rooms with a sound system that is superb, the seats are comfortable and there is parking in case you arrive by car at an affordable price. The food choices are those found in all movie theaters (coffee, popcorn, chocolates, sandwiches) and there is even space for the arcades if you want to play your children or even if you want to play! My cousins and I came all the way from Vaudreuil with 8 other friends and the manager would not accept an official student ID since it was online and not physical. Nowhere on the website does it say that it needs to be a PHYSICAL ID. When we asked to speak the manager she refused all of us instead of letting my little cousin in with a student ID on her phone. THEN when we asked for our receipt for our $150 reimbursement she refused to give us one!! Seriously awful service, I will never come back here!

Used the ATM to buy my tickets... No issues there. The concession stand's food was adequate in terms of quality. Quick service. Had the usual Cheese Nachos and Popcorn. Staff was courteous and helpful. The place could have been cleaner though. No free parking unless you park in the street.

Although the decor seems like it's stuck in 2001, the cinema is generally clean and the staff is friendly. Of course, you may want to remortgage your home if you're bringing the whole family for an evening as the price for concessions is ridiculously high. But then again that might explain the rise of home streaming services ... All in all, for a move going experience, it's ok. Take the metro and on-street parking available, but not always.

Geat place to watch movies in both French and English. Theyhave IMAX cinema room and lots of food concession. You can find parking in the adjacent Streets on non-busy evenings, but most of the time, you have to use the pay parking. They are right next to the metro if you are using public transportations though.

My go-to cinéma, even when I'm across the city. I'd rather travel twice the distance and time to get there and enjoy a movie in quality seats and sound than any other theatres in the city. French being the predominant language of this place, the English options are still good. As of lately though, they have been having a lot of issues with screens not projecting until the movie is just about to start, skipping all the games. Speaking of games, they lowered the scene point rewards so much it's now pointless to play at all, though this affects any cinemas using scene and timeplay/powerplay. Despite the small issues, still 4 stars for the overall quality.

The selection of movies seems fine - action, romantic, family movies can all be found here. But if you want to watch some Hollywood movies in their original version, your better bet would be Forum or Scotiabank. But the parking is more convenient here - quite a few free parking spots just across the street in the residential hood.

Really want to like this cinema. Location is good, prices good but the quality of the screens is all over the place. One has visible vertical lines (banding) down the screen noticible in daylight shots and others the picture is so dark even the day shots feel like they have a night filter on them. Only go when no other option sadly! Hope they fix or upgrade their tech soon. Other cinemas have much better picture.

Great theatre. Mostly for french dub movies but still usually one or two rooms for english viewing. Good service and has a Xscape arcade (uses a card type paying system, same one as "La Ronde") thats well stocked with recent games. Consider that its in the Olympic stadium vicinity, so free parking might be annoying but its still possible. ????

We are assigned a seat in the room ... because if you are looking for the seat number, it is in front of the goblet door on your left that you have to look (therefore to the right once seated). The temperature in the room was perfect, no need to cover yourself with your jacket to be comfortable. And, a comment to the management ... provide a bin for the "intervention masks" (blue-white) at the exit of the building, would not be a big investment and there would be less abandoned in the parking lot and along the route to walk to rue Pierre-de-Coubertin. (Original) Pour les visionnements de type privé c'est génial, pas d'attente, gel antiseptique (à pressoir) pour aller voir le film, cependant pas de gel en direction de la sortie. On se fait assigner une place assise dans la salle... parcontre si vous cherchez le numéro du siège, c'est devant le porte goblet à votre gauche qu'il faut regarder (donc à droite une fois assis). La température de la salle était parfaite, pas besoin de se couvrir avec sa veste pour être confortable. Once, I was insulted by the manager who did not want to listen to me on a situation concerning video game tokens that were not given to me properly after using their machine (still defective). She refused to listen to me by giving me a "token" and "thank you goodbye" without bothering to listen to me. What a lack of professionalism. It's been several years ago, I forgot her name but I think she got fired. Recently I went to see the movie "Bumble Bee". The movie was good. On the other hand, this is the same complaint that I make EVERY TIME I go to this cinema and that "nobody" listens. At the end of the film, the lights open early (1-3 minutes) before the credits. It's really frustrating because the film is not even finished ... and that, I will tell you that it is not bad "every time" that I go to this cinema there. I asked to speak to a manager (who did not have an additional "name tag", no worse) and replied that it was "cineplex" which sent them a "timer" that Star Cité incorporated by then in their system to open the lights "according to the info given from cineplex" ... so technically, it was not their fault ... ah yeah ...? So if I understand the professionalism behind it all, we give you some info ... and you comply without "even" checking the accuracy of the data? That's right? So technically I could tell you that the credits start at the start of the movie and you will incorporate the automatic light timer without even checking before .. is that correct? "Hand of applause everyone! Clap clap clap!" Real professionalism here. Why is the lights so important to open "only" when the credits roll? (and even there, instead of turning on the lights 100% like a slap on the face, maybe just "dimming" the lights would be courteous), BECAUSE when you are watching a movie that is not finished ... IT IS COURSE TO WAIT FOR THE END OF THE FILM BEFORE OPENING THE CURSED LIGHTS BECAUSE WE PAY VERY HIGH TO LIVE A CINEMATOTRAPHIC EXPERIENCE. I am a film enthusiast, Videographer and I love to watch a movie from start to finish and savor all the moments of the movie without "pause" or without light stupidities. Lately, I would like to say that the quality of employees regarding customer service is normal. The toilets are "disgusting" .. always badly clean for each visit .. it's like having a Mercedez ... but with a scooter engine. Interesting .... During my last visit 3 weeks ago, I ordered a pepperoni pizza with medium drink + chocolate yogurt dessert .. the pizza was "beuark" ... as it was 2 days ago it was heating up in their tote ... disgusting to serve customers with expired food ... especially when you pay nearly $ 15 for food + tickets $ 10-15 each person wow .... really a Mercedez with a scooter motor ... seriously ... it's sad. Today, I went to see "AQUAMAN" with my little brother. There were a lot of people because it was January 1st AND Tuesday cheaper ... so a lot of people ... on the other hand, there was a long queue and 6 self-service machines I think ... but only 4 were working..1 broke down at the last minute .. no support from the employees on site for people who used the machine for the 1st time .. i saw the old ladies (and the younger ones) take forever to order their ticket because they did not understand the operation of the machines and what to weigh ... AT THE MAXIMUM, WE HAVE SUPPORT at least with a full-time person to help us. AH. "Deplorable" especially a rush day on January 1st on a Tuesday .. people were frustrated ... whole families were impatiently waiting .. none of their employees came to fix the problems with their machine. J'ai demandé de parler à une gérante ( qui n'avait pas de "name tag" en plus, pas pire ) et m'a répondu que c'était "cineplex" qui leur envoyait une "minuterie" que Star Cité incorporait par ensuite dans leur système pour ouvrir les lumières "selon les info donner de cineplex"... donc techniquement, ce n'était pas de leur faute... ah ouain... ? Donc si je comprend bien le professionnalisme derrière tout c'a, on vous donne des infos... et vous obtempérez sans "même" vérifié sde l'exactitute des données? C'est bien c'a? Donc, techniquement, je pourrais vous dire que les générique débute au début du film et vous incorporerez la minuterie automatique des lumières sans même vérifié avant.. c'est bien c'a? " Main d'applaudissement tout le monde! clap clap clap!" Du vrai professionnalisme ici. Pourquoi est ce que les lumières sont si importantes de s'ouvrir "seulement" lorsque les génériques débutent? ( et même là, au lieu d'allumer les lumières a 100% comme une claque sur le visage, peut être seulement "dimmer" les lumières serait courtois ) , PARCE QUE lorsqu'on l'on regarde un film qui n'est pas terminé... IL EST COURTOIS D'ATTENDRE A LA FIN DU FILM AVANT D'OUVRIR LES MAUDITES LUMIÈRES CAR ON PAYES TRÈS CHER POUR VIVRE UNE EXPÉRIENCE CINÉMATOTRAPHIQUE . Je suis cinéphile, Vidéaste et j'aime regarder un film du début jusqu'a la fin et savourer tous les moments du film sans " pause" ou sans stupidités de lumière. Dernièrement, j'aimerais dire que la quailité des employés concernant le service a la clientèle est normale. Les toilettes sont "dégueulasses".. toujours mal propre pour chaque visites .. c'est comme avoir une Mercedez... mais avec un moteur de trotinette. Intéressant.... Lors de ma dernière visite voilà 3 semaines, j'ai commandé une pizza pepperoni avec boisson medium + dessert yogourt au chocolat.. la pizza était " beuark"... comme ci c'a faisais 2 jours qu'elle chauffait dans leur fourre...dégueulasse de servire les clientèle avec de la nourriture expiré... surtout lorsque l'on paye pres de 15$ pour la bouffe + les billets 10-15$ chaques personne wow.... vraiment une Mercedez avec un moteur de trotinette...sérieusement...c'est triste. Aujourd'hui, je sui allé voir "AQUAMAN" avec mon petit frère. Il y avait beaucoup de monde car c'était le 1er janvier ET mardi moins cher... donc beaucoup de monde.. par contre, il y a avait une longue file d'attente et 6 machine libre service je crois... mais seulement 4 fonctionnaient..1 est tombé en panne a la dernière minute.. aucune soutient des employés sur place pour les gens qui utilisaient la machine pour la 1ere fois.. je voyaient les vielles madames ( et les plus jeunes ) prendre une éternité pour commander leur billet car il ne comprennaient pas le fonctionnement des machine et quoi peser...AU MAXI, ON A DU SOUTIEN au moins avec une personne a temps plein pour nous aider. "Déplorable" surtout une journée rush de 1er janvier un Mardi.. les gens étaient frustré... des familles entières attendaient avec impatience.. aucun de leur employé sont venues réglé les problèmes de leur machine. Really like this cinema because of it’s location, it’s big and it’s near a metro station which is great but it’s movie selection is pretty limited compared to the Scotiabank cinema in downtown which is why I stopped going there and another reason is that there are movies that are not in English but only in french.. Nice accessible cinplex theater primarily French speaking theater. The movies a little are less expensive here than downtown. The parking is expensive but easily accessible. Street parking is very difficult to find nearby. The metro is very conveniently located as its directly in front of viau metro station. There are a nice number of games inside. A good number of snack bars. The bathrooms are clean and sufficent but the tap water in the bathroom sinks during winter is unacceptably cold. I recommend you bring handwarmers on days like today of -22. Starcite is also very close to the biodome and the planetarium so it's a good place to stop by with the kids.
