I like Guzzo. As the price for a movie is a little cheaper than Cineplex plus food. Plus I find. There is more regular movies than in 3D or Imax.

The screens are room, the waiting line is huge (often just a girl for 30 people), the projectionist often places the screen evil .. the number of times I had to go to warn .. short I do not recommend it no one even when C is in special !! First of all, they have a Imax room and non-imax rooms. Went to see a movie on their Imax room ( i think #9). It was great (Dune)! Comfortable, nice big screen. Plus went in the afternoon, half price. Good jobs guys. However, return to see another movie, Eternals, and this time it was on a non-imax room (think #8). Very, very bad experience! Actually the worst cinema experience up to date. Picture glitches at many occasions, very low brightness (could barely see the details on medium to dark scenes), lines in the middle of the screen. My friends and I thought their was something broken lol Would not recommand their non-imax room and please M. Guzzo, update that screen and projector! Its not OK to charge people for that experience!!!

Cinema Guzzo. Set your watches back 25 years. No interac, long a$$ waiting lines. Can't buy tickets online either for IMAX. I ain't going back to Guzzo until they fix this line-up bull%$**. Cineplex Odeon. There are 20+ machines where we can get our tickets, and easely done online too. And they accept interac. Only places who do not accept interac nowadays are these old greek pizzeria places and ... Guzzo.

Not very well taken care of lineup is to long for one clerk to take care of on a Saturday afternoon and the men's restroom is a big smelly mess not to sanitary basicly it smells very very bad.

The seats were very uncomfortable, at the end of the movie I had back pain. The theatre was super small to watch a 3D movie comparing to Colisée Kirkland, The seats were very dirty and were not cleaned at all, I will never go back.

Great place to relax and watch a movie. Could be a great place for a date night too, but I've never been on one. Yes, that was a joke, so laugh your heart out. Come on! I know you want to laaaauuugh! Oh alright. Only problem is that the movie projectors are only 720p. But it's not that big of a deal.

Theatre seemed dark and a bit run down. Staff weren't very friendly and didn't bother to mention wheelchair access for IMAX theatre when buying ticket nor when taking ticket and telling us which theatre to go to. Wasn't until after that we found the elevator.

The lights in the theater came on 15 minutes before our movie ended. My girlfriend left and asked someone to turn them off, but they stayed on. They finally gave us passes to another movie, but they were only for matinees. For the amount of trouble we went through and money spent on popcorn and drinks, you'd think they would at least give us regular movie passes. Not impressed.

The theatre itself is nice but the imax screen had a patch in the middle of it. When we asked for a cup to fill with water at the fountain they cited policy that they would not and that if we wanted to purchase the small foam cup at 2.25$ we could have it...on top of the 15 bucks of treats we got. That is plain bad customer retention.

Been a while since ive been to this guzzo. Seems like they cut back on all the fun things to do inside. I thought there would still be an arcade or something for the kids but just a big empty lobby. Other bummer was we bought tickets at costco and did not know we had to buy special 3d passes to watch 3d movies. So we couldnt even pay the diffrence. They just dont accept the regular passes for 3d movies evwn if we are willing to pay.

Theater, even with an IMAX, still manages to feel small. Overall appearance feels dated, very early 90s looking and not in a fun nostalgic way. There's no machines for ticket purchasing so you're forced to buy from a person, this would not be a big deal if it did not back up the line and cause big waits (I once waited 10 minutes to buy tickets). Additionally, the snacks are overpriced, which would not be abnormal for a theater if it wasn't that the portions are seemingly smaller the at Cineplex locations. Just not a very fun or nice experience overall sadly. I'd sooner go more out of my way to goto a Cineplex theater (plus there you can get Scene points as a perk for loyalty).

I used to go to this Guzzo several years ago. I was once a huge fan. However, the seats were dirty, the whole room had a smell of old popcorn that was left uncleaned, the seats were uncredibly uncomfortable. It cost me 15$ to watch a movie and several hours afterwards to relieve the pain from my neck due to the cushions. Oh I had a seat in the middle so my neck wouldn't be too bent. These seats needs new cushions. This is terrible. It's a gigantic cinema, where we expect the best, but this is all that was to be offered? I'm only giving you 2* because the screen wasn't ripped. That counts.

the seats were very comfy and the staff was pretty nice. have to give it 3stars though since we were told by a rude couple that "they were leaving because we wouldnt shut up" (no previous warning or back glance was given prior to this message otherwise we would have kindly quieted down had we been asked kindly) , id like to note that we attended a horror movie full of noisy teens (which is normal) and i was trying to calm my friend down so we found this pretty rude. although this wasnt the cinema's fault, it would be nice if there were staff that maybe walked down the aisles to prevent things like this (and other rude acts as throwing popcorn at people). Once again, had we been asked to quiet down politely, we would have been glad to. Apart from this event, this theater is nice for family and friends to attend and the sound and viewing is great.

Whenever I go to the guys bathroom the bathroom is kinda smelly and kinda messy for my opinions, although it's clean but the guys always pee on the toilets it's like hearing a public park fountain. In the end of the days The Cinema Guzzo has a great service despite of people complaints about the slow service and pricing of buying a tickets. I been coming to this movie theater since I went to see the movie "Ratatouille" I also love iMax so cool and big, the seat was so nice and comfortable.

Avengers fan event was an utter disappointment. 1: Prepurchased tickets were not worth buying as the theater in which they chose to place us was one of the old ones with the seats that haven't been replaced in 20 years but if you just showed up out of the blue you got a ticket for the IMAX theater. 2: The 3D during the movie was blotchy and out of focus for at least 35% of the film. 3: The worst part was AFTER when a crowd of 50 dissatisfied customers stayed behind to speak to the manager. Well the manager sent out his two female millennial assistant managers for over 20 minutes. During which one of them told us that "if we had left the theater to come tell them they could have fixed it" - to which I responded with a question as to whether or not it was OUR fault that we didn't leave the movie we'd paid extra to see at a "fan event" to come looking for someone to help - given how long it took to get the manager AFTER the movie I can only imagine how much of the movie I would have missed if I had left to try and correct it. Also the suggestion was made that they could start the movie over as if the time already spent meant nothing.... 4: The manager - la piece de resistance - after finally showing up his attitude was pure defiance. His first statement was that he had fixed it at the beginning so he didn't know what the problem was. Instead of observing a crowd of 50 or so unsatisfied customers and APOLOGIZING for failing to provide the promised "fan event" - he turned it on us... as did his assistant. I will also be calling the head office today.

Got to the cinema 10 minutes after our movie time started but still had time to catch the movie since there are always previews. There were 4 employees behind the concession counter with a lineup of 6 people and only 1 person serving all of us since everyone else was too busy cleaning up the counters, and the manager just standing there watching but doing nothing to speed service up! Ended up missing first 10 minutes of the movie because of this kind of service! Makes no sense at all. ☹????

Nothing too special going on here. I go on quiet nights to the late shows. The young staff who work here are polite. Drinks and snacks are just as expensive as everywhere else. But its proximity to a dollarama is perfection. Clean too as far as I can tell.

The seats are nice and comfy, the tickets are super affordable, and they usually have all of the latest movies playing. 2 issues though, the IMAX is way too loud. I've started going to this cinema on a regular basis and I usually bring some ear-plugs to protect my hearing. Secondly, they still haven't fixed their debit machines. At first I thought it was a technical thing, but after a few months they're still not accepting debit. It's not a super big deal, but in this day and age it's odd that a big company like that wouldn't accept debit.

This is what you would call your typical neighborhood theater with a few pluses like IMAX screens as an example. Everything else here is the standard, over priced popcorn and drinks and a 9 screen theater house that could use a good make over at a few points. Not every screen has stadium seating which to me is something that should be a must. But a morning special (before 6pm) is $7 and $6 on Tuesday helps to make up some of the negatives.

It's a ok theater. Though I hate how they only have 3d movies for the evenings and they play the regular during the day when people are at work. This is rediclous as not everyone can see 3D movies or people with glasses don't nessairly want to see that. But with Costco I get a better rate for famous players which has nicer seats faster service. Also no debit accepted so unless you have cash or want to pay a outstanding fee from their atm you have to use credit. Very unreliable for this. Only good thing is the seats in the theater Imo.

I felt like the screen was a lot smaller than other ones. The lines were very long, but it isn't their fault. The seats are very comfortable, like really soft. I didn't appreciate how the screen and the noise was really glitchy and kept going non-stop on and off. I didn't get popcorn, but I'm pretty sure that the last time I went it was enjoyable. I still like it so you should still go.

I used to go here often when I was younger and went back after close to 10 years later. Unfortunately, the cinema didn't seem to keep up with the times. The entrance is quite small, it took me and my wife some time to find the showtimes as we were looking for them at the counter, but they were behind us, which we thought was strange. We were gifted Guzzo gift certificates for a 3D movie from friends, and we were told we couldn't use it on a normal movie, which was ridiculous. The movie screen had a tear in it, it was small, but still visible. The seats are comfy, but are all linked together, so if someone sits 4-5 seat down from you, your seat will rock. If someone is kicking the back seat 2-3 seats away, you will also feel it. There were however many choices for food and beverages and sizes were bigger than a Cineplex, but that's probably the only plus side I have seen. So overall, this place needs a makeover and needs to be modernized, I have no intention of going back anytime soon as my experiences are better elsewhere.

Terrible experience. Online it showed yhe movie was going to be in IMAX l. When we arrived she was half asleep and told us "sorry last minute change, it's just regular." The movie was not loud in any way. Everyone was talking and laughing throughout the entire movie (joker) which is not at all funny. You can actually hear people chewing for how low the volume was and to top it off I went into the bathroom and someone stuck a used pad on the mirror and a used tampon on the counter next to the sink. Clearly no one cleans either. Worst movie experience I've ever had.

9pm on Friday. Worst cinematic experience I’ve ever had. Employees decided to change the garbages in the theatre DURING THE MOVIE. Kids were running around in and out of the theatre during the movie making it impossible to focus on the movie. You could hear outside noises from inside the theatres as well due to the small door letting in all the sound. The emergency exit door was open, letting in light. After the movie was finished I went through the bathroom, which was an absolute mess. Garbage on the counters, toilet paper all over the floor, both hand dryers weren’t functional. I even heard someone say to their friend that they were out of toilet paper. I told an employee who about the state of the bathroom who seemed to genuinely concerned. Later went to the arcade to see many of the machines were out of order. We even had to reset one of the machines to get it working again. After leaving there was a garage blocking the exit, as if an employee had started taking out the garage but stopped midway. Sad to see a theatre I use to go to as a kid become a joke of a theatre. Especially since it was renovated not that long ago.

The movie quality is great, the rooms are very good. The only problem I had was with the arcade games. A lot of them are out of order and for the ones that aren't, one was a two player game so I put in 2 coins but still was asking me to enter a second one for 2 players so I pushed in a 3rd one (knowing I would lose one) because I thought the second one I put in was stuck but still it one registered one player. And the second was was the bowling alley I put in a coin and the game didn't start at all.

Aside from the really bad service. And that you can only use cash or credit card. When we went to see our 11 p.m. movie, we were told it starts at 10:30pm. It was 10:29pm (deadpool 2 opening weekend) We found out later, after 4 "managers" had a meeting that the cashier was just oblivious and there was an 11pm the whole time. Fruit flies came off my popcorn, which was pre made and stored in a heating box. Cashier was an angry person. I switched to kirkland. Its just better.

This theatre reigned supreme back in the day, and revolutionized the game with stadium seating and bigger screens than others. A few years ago, they added IMAX which is great, but unfortunately if you’re stuck in one of their older theatre rooms, the experience is just OK. Some of their seats have lost their comfort, and most recently I was able to hear the movie playing from the movie next to us in our room which was kind of annoying. 4 stars because it’s close by - but I think I rather catch a movie at Colisée Kirkland or ScotiaBank Downtown.

Having just had our son's 9th birthday there, first and last time ever to have a party at this place! The customer service was absolutely deplorable for this kind of party, the assistant manager (a young girl) who was in charge of helping us, was absolutely incompetent to say the least. No one cared about the group, nor was there any kind of organization. Take your money to another place that caters to party-packages. Guzzo: All in all, this was the most disorganized place to have a party that I've been privy to. I do highly recommend that you look into the kind of customer service that you are offering to people who are looking to have a party within your installations. Went to attend a showing at Sources 10 on Saturday October 7th, 2018. All seats were taken and approximately 15 people standing in the back of the theater and 10 people sitting or lying on the floor. It appears that this theater either oversells or allows people to enter that did not buy a ticket. I do not think Guzzo's standard policies are being followed at this location. I have not encountered this at other locations. They provided a full refund when we decided to leave with no questions asked.

They decided to open another cashier, they don't tell the people in the middle of the original line, the tell people at the end so 15 minutes of waiting and people who just arrived get in sooner. Told then directed by a Pointed by the male cashier to the pay to use interac machine, I lose my spot to find out it's not working. Waiting back in line to be told to go to another buissnes to get Money. Ask to speak to the management. Nobody of authority on the premises. When I said but you knew the machine wasn't working, why didn't you say something. He shrugged his shoulders and said yeah I forgot. Not the first time for bad, rude service. Maybe they should hire proper staff and have 2 or 3 machine if they refuse to take debit cards then they can make more kick backs from those debit machines.

I recently took my granddaughter and grandson to see Peter Rabbit. The movie was excellent; my dissatisfaction came when ordering a coffee for myself and a bottle of water for the children to share. As my granddaughter has a cold, I asked for a Styrofoam cup so that I could pour some water into it for my grandson. I was told by the girl at the counter that she is not allowed to give out empty cups! I realize that this is not her fault (she was following management orders), and I could not get angry with her BUT as I had just paid $14.00 for the movie and $6.00 for a coffee and a bottle of water, I felt that I wasn't asking too much, especially for the specific reason I had requested the cup in the first place. The cinema is in need of a major cleaning. Sorry, everytime I go it seems to get more gross in the bathrooms especially. Stains on every seat. Sinks with black garbage bags in them taped to faucet so you don't use them. I was there about a month ago and then today and the problem is still not fixed. Only 1 person working front ticket sales and 1 cash for food service on a Sunday afternoon makes everyone frustrated waiting and late for their movie. Escorted my nephew who has an Acess pass for a campanion to assist him. Guzzo did not accept it and we had to pay. Most places let companions in free.

This really is the best place to watch IMAX movies. Theatre is awesome. They do need to update everything else to get to the same level. Washrooms, the lobby area and the other theatres have to be updated.

Saw Spider-Man. Very poorly organized, not at all ready when the doors opened. Was supposed to start at 12:30, actually started at 12:50! Don't know if it was on purpose, but the Imax room was freezing! Had to keep my coat on.

Friendly staff but the place smells bad when you walk it. Waiting area is small. Theater 3 had a huge line in the middle of the screen. Proximity was the sole reason for going due to weather conditions. Do not intend on returning.

Went to Guzzo Des Sources July 9th 2018, paid 24$ to watch The purge. During the movie there were several teens (I'd say 15 to 17max) that wouldn't shut up during the movie. They were asked multiple times to be silent and watch the movie but no to success. Informed the manager on duty only to be told that he can't do anything about it. Not happy with the lack of effort to address the situation. At 12$ for entry and include snack around another 10$ I think I'll wait for the DVD to come out and just buy it. I haven't had many issues like this before but with the staff all being rather young it seems they don't want to step on anyone's feet but they need to be able to handle this situation. They're nice and with a smile so I'll give them that. But overall not happy with this last experience..

The movie started over 30 minutes later then the time printed on the ticket on a Monday evening. Makes hard to make plans for later when it's doesn't start on time. The crowd started asking each other if we were at the right place. Just terrible.

Crazy great prices for a matinee! Especially iMax movies at matinee is great. Some of the cinemas are very small/cozy. Popcorn is done well. They have sodas, slushies, and minute-maid orange juice at normal movie price$$. :/ If you get there for the first two days of showings of an iMax movie, they sometimes have mini-posters in the lobby. They also do birthday parties, but I usually go to La Belle Prov next door, after the movie, and have the kids order what the want. (LaBelle will let you bring cake, if you let them know)

POOR customer service at head office in Terrebonne, left three (3) voice-mail messages that were just ignored in order to report a missing Club Guzzo card and ask for a replacement. Incompetent and unprofessional. The receptionist could not care less about getting up from her desk and asking someone to resolve the issue. BTW, the lazy with no initiative deserve to be yelled at! Just not worth the headache for a 6$ entrance fee on Wednesday’s. I recommend paying a bit more and going to their competitor that has also has a point system and has the option of using redeemable evouchers with Air Miles for discount pricing (12.50 regular movie - 10.00 evoucher = 2.50$ for entrance). Perhaps before giving advice to entrepreneurs on T.V. make sure your own company is being run properly.

Movies are ok, seats are not the comfortable. Food is pricey of course. The arcade is dead, half the games don't work..they should shut it down or fix it. Not really a good destination for kids parties.

The older viewing rooms aren't that great (small screens, bad seats) but the IMAX is worth it. Wow! What an experience it is to watch a movie in the IMAX theater. A massive screen with amazing audio and great seats.

We picked the wrong day to see a movie here. It was more crowded than I like and it was not stadium seating. Saw Jumanji and enjoyed it. The only redeeming feature was the matinee price of $7.

One of the worst Cinemas I've ever been to the lighting was terrible. They make sure to turn down the bulb to save energy so the movie was very very dark this was the second time I've seen Ad Astra so I know the difference the sound was screeching treble.

This place is going down hill. Here are a few experiences: Twice I went to see movies in 3D, but they started with the normal version, and then switched to 3D partway through the movie. Once we were only let into the theater after the previews had started. When we walked in, employees were chatting with people already seated (how did they get in there before the doors were opened?) I saw an enployee blatantly letting their friends in without paying. I used to love this theater. Now I go somewhere else.

@Arash Ghashghaei Why should there be seat numbers? There have never been any seat numbers at any Cinéma Guzzo theater because you can't reserve the seats ahead of time like you would with Cineplex theaters. My experience as far as I am concerned has been good. The only downside is that the regular theaters need an update as well as keeping them clean. Popcorn on the floors as well as on the seats.

Imax sources is a great hall.. great seats.. great sound.. other hall are atrocious .. the most uncomfortable seats in any montreal theater.. avoid , unless you don't care about being uncomfortable after a half hour and shifting and squirming in your seat trying to get comfortable.. they obviously do not care.. so take your money elsewhere..

The service is rude, the theater where we saw the joker at 1pm had leftover popcorn, drinks all over the middle seats and the floors were sticky. The bathrooms are gross with spills all over the bathroom doors and a gross smell. Just disgusting and will never go back there.

Very dirty, smelly also. During hot days air conditioning is off, so very hot and uncomfortable. If you like urine odors, this is the place to go. A good clean up of the theatre is recommended. Been there lots of times, but now might change theatre and go to Cineplex Kirkland.

First time trying a movie there since the renovation. Imax theater was nice, but way too overpriced & no discounts for little kids!!! It was no surprise that only 8 people were in the entire cinema-- and it seemed like a ghost town overall throughout. At $16/ea for an imax movie (especially for kids) the value is just not there. In addition, I then overpaid for kids to get a med popcorn & snack and when I asked for an extra empty bag for the kids to share the popcorn I was told they are not allowed to give empty bags.... Really?! After paying $70 for myself & two kids for a night out I would think there's some extra profit in there to afford an empty bag!! Penny wise, pound foolish on managements part for this rule...not the girl at the counters fault, but shame on management/ownership. Disappointing experience overall... looks like I'll stick with famous players from now on...

Movie was cancelled after sitting in theatre for 20 min. Refund given but what about my time and travelling. They should have also given a complimentary ticket for another time as a goodwill gesture. Talked with someone at the office in Terrebonne, terrible customer service, I was polite explaining the situation and he stated that is their policy and then hung up on me.
