It's a shame condiments cost your first born. The theatre needs to update itself with surrounding cinemas. Unless Cineplex is planning on closing it in the near future. LoL. Giving circumstance I'd drive to Dieppe for better viewing.

The young lady manager was top notch and very accommodating. Her helper (also a young lady) stayed busy through out. They both did actually. The theatre was clean and had an old fashion/friendly look. It was a small, youngish audience but they too were polite and not disruptive as I've seen in theatres across Canada. Please keep this place open. The community of Amherst and surrounding area needs it. Matt Grant

Staff is friendly and great. Typical small town theatre but had a wonderful time. Saw knives out and left with a sincere goodbye from the manager and cashier's, great experience

Nice small community movie theatre with the neat quirks you'd expect. Theatre 1 has a "make out" corner, Theatre 2 runs cold in the winter and seems the smallest, and Theatre 3 has a safety railing in front of the lower right screen. Safe but odd.

Great place. Went to see Thor but Jigsaw was playing next door so you could hear the screams from it over the movie.

A really great small town theatre with great owners and friendly staff. Very clean. I'm so happy we are lucky enough to have a theatre here in Amherst. Really yummy fresh popcorn too.

This theatre needs a refurbish badly. The three small screens jammed into this building. one of which has the screen partially blocked from the railing from the emergency exit. Walls are not soundproofed so you can hear the movies in the next theatre quite distinctly. It has two redeeming qualities, good staff and it is easier to get to for people in the area compared to driving to Moncton.

Pretty decent for a town the size of Amherst. For big folks wondering about the seating. I wear size 54 jeans and I fit in the seats just fine. If you are more than that, you may have trouble.

3 movies, all starting at the same time, only concession line open, so you have to wait for everyone to buy their treats before you can even get your ticket. Lined up out the door. If they want to save money by closing the ticket booth, at least start the movies at different times! We left & went elsewhere after waiting for 10 minutes & the line not moving.

I find that this theater is run down and has not been updated in last 20 years or more. I find it really costly for what you get as well. For two people it's over 40 dollars. For what you pay there they need upgrade the theater.

The staff is always very quick and pleasant to deal with. The theatre could use some upgrades, but until people support it, the funds likely won't be there. Quickly becomes a "chicken and egg" situation... However I always recommend staying local when possible :) Great job Amherst theatre, thank you :)

This theater has the same shows for like 3 weeks even though hardly anyone is there, surely there is a better system somehow. There are lots of good movies that don't even come there for some reason....?????????

Chairs too small. Needs a major upgrade. Won't be back. Last time i had to go tell them to turn the sound on. Missed the first 10 min cause there was no sound.
