Especially if you’re going to see a movie that’s already been out for more than two weeks, I’d recommend going here instead of cineplex. When a movie has been out for a few weeks cineplex puts the movie on one of their second tier screens, whereas with cineplex the quality and s much more even across the board.

The recliner seats are awesome and the arcade is also pretty fun. I like that you can buy tickets and concession with the Atom app, I would definitely use that on big premiere nights because the line for concession is super long whereas there's virtually no line with Atom. The only reason I don't go here as often is because they don't have SCENE rewards, this place would be perfect if they introduced a program like that.

Love this theatre. Big and spacious. Love their black leather recliners. Their service is friendly. Always smiling. Their washrooms are cleaner than the Cineplex. Their concession is good and their popcorn always smells so good. Their arcade has a machine to buy a card to load up money to play those games. Parking is available. Has disability parking, disability seating up front in the theatre, and disability washroom too.

Since the remodel is now done I love coming here! The price is great. You get reserved seats now the concession prices are cheaper the Cineplex. I'm a little more biased cause it is closer to home. But prior to the remodel I would rather spend the extra to go to Cineplex. But now I definitely would rather come here for my movies.

I love this movie theatres, I have been going here since the year 2001 and since the renovation, with the recliner seats, it’s been my go to spot to watch a movie. It supports the atom app and all you have to do is open the app purchase the seats with a button and go there with reserved seats, It’s that easy. Would definitely recommend!

The seating here is power reclining and reserved booking for on average $13 vs the Cineplex Coquitlam Cinema by my home which charges $26 for VIP reserved seating. These seats are even better in my opinion and the lack of ordering food to your seat is well made up for at literally 2 seats for the price or 1. I’d rather go grab a nice dinner before hand. The 8-10 min max extra drive to get here vs Coq VIP is well worth it.

Great price and great experience. I didn’t like Landmark before, having always gone to Cineplex. Ever since their new renovations it’s been amazing. The ticketing app works much better than the Cineplex app. Using digital tickets to enter and get your food order is fast and easy. Roomy recliners in all the theatres and preassigned seats without having to pay a premium for it. Top notch.

Normally we enjoy Landmark a great deal but today it was horrible. Just finished watching a movie in the back theater #6 and we could barely concentrate on the film because the entire room reeked of urine. We were early and listened to all the other patrons comment on it as well. We've had issues with sticky floors, the rooms not being cleaned, and even rats running by our chairs. I really want to love this theater and the staff has always been kind and helpful but as a business they need to get it together.

Great setup. We attended a matinee so line ups were minimal, but the ticket and concession is setup well to manage larger crowds. Prices are similar to other theatres. The big selling point is the seating. Every seat is a big comfy recliner with plenty of arm rest and leg space. You can put your feet up. Screen and sound quality is top notch. I don't see a lot of movies these days, but if I do, it will be at Landmark!

Guildford landmark is a very nice cinema to go to. It is the one I go to. It’s close to where I live and is the nicest one in surrey. It’s big and open. Not too crowded. Workers are really nice and approachable!

Got one of those 2 free ticket coupons. I tried ordering my tickets online, but then apparently my order went through before I was even able to confirm the movie date. Emailed them and never received a reply. It said online that they’ll reply at LEAST 48 hours. Been over a week. So, I went to the theatre and they said I can’t get my ticket renewed and I should email their head office. That’s what I was doing. very disappointed

Luxurious plush seats to enjoy the movie on. Sound quality and good quality projection made us enjoy Black Panther immensely. The access and flow was good and it did not feel crowded. Washrooms were clean and the concessions looked appetizing even though we did not buy anything.

Everything is super cool the only thing I would complain about is the fact that to get in and then get food there's four separate lineups. But the recliners are good. As good as Cineplex if not better. I like the curved screen and the fact that it's smaller theaters with less people. People ruin everything. Good job landmark!

Terrible service. The token machine in the arcade ripped my kids off and they did nothing at all to resolve. Told us to call a 1-800 number. Kids lost all their spending money. Disappointing.

The RECLINING LEATHER SEATS. There is no other way to watch a movie anymore. Edit: April 27, 2019: Just finished watching Avengers: Endgame, likely the biggest opening weekend to-date. The theatre, though busy, was very clean. All hands on staff were ready to take food orders so the lines only went around one "bend". With every room essentially churning out sell-out show after show, they are right in there getting the leather seats ready for the next set of guests. Added another star to give full 5 stars. Well done, Landmark. You really have your operations down.

Never had a bad experience. Tickets are cheap especially on tuesdays. i think they were one of the first to have the recliner seats. Food used to be cheaper before their renovation though. A bit overpriced now.

Great service . Rest room cleans. All covid protocols were in place and guest complied to them . I like the fact that the CEO had a personal message on screen says alot I appreciate that. Chairs are sprayed after each movie . I watched Fast and Furious 9 it was so much fun. If you haven't watch it yet do so now.

I tend to come here on an occasional Tuesday afternoons with my mum. Concession is decent, staffed by 15 year olds, so set your expectations accordingly (not bad, but you're not dining at 5 star). The thing that make this theater a great theater is the seats. Fully reclining, like a bed, and no standing up to let people pass on you the way to their seats - the rows are WIDE. It almost ruins you for other theatres - Cineplex has booze and inseat service but they don't have leg room.

This place has had its ups and downs. From when it was a Silvercity to now a Landmark cinema. Landmark has recently renovated this theatre. It is now the best theatre in Surrey if not one of the best in the Metro area. Every auditorium has comfy recliner seating (better than Strawberry Hill's seats imho). They are all assigned seats. So much space, you can't touch the seat in front of you when sitting. Plus better pricing than Cineplex. Honestly Cineplex is sleep here, none of their theaters except the VIP ones are this comfortable and those are pretty pricy. On top of that they use the Atom app which is simpler, less bloated than Cineplex's. They let you cancel tickets easily up to 30 mins before the show, which has saved me a lot of hassle.

Good theatre/ cinema. Ample parking around. Prices are less expensive compared to Cineplex and morning movies (10am) are only $6.99. This location is now ( June 2017) going through major renovations. Seats are now reclining sofas at no extra charge!!

Great deals on popcorn (a large is refillable) , and amazing reclining seats in select theatres. These seats fully recline like your dad's chair that he told you not to play with but you did anyways. Washrooms could be a big cleaner but hey, what can you expect from a movie theatre. Good service and great quality.

I've been there four times, and each time the washrooms were filthy with urine all around the urinals and toilets, and just generally messy!!! I find the prices better at Landmark than Cineplex. They have good deals on food and tickets at certain times, like mornings, but the Landmark in New West is cheaper for the same movie at the same time for some reason.

Came in for ant man and the wasp with just a regular 2d ticket and was blown away by the spacious recliner seats. I've never been so comfortable watching a movie. I would highly recommend anyone that has never tried landmark to give it a shot. There are less seats per screen but that's because the seats are so wide. Also less crowed than cineplex so it's easier to book your seat.

It's been over a year since I've been to Landmark Cinemas Guildford, but when I finally went last week I saw that Ashley girl again... She was so beautiful. When I saw her it was like I died and went to heaven. She was an angel. There were a lot of new faces there as well. A lot of kind and wonderful staff that were happy to help me, welcoming me with warm smiles and open arms. The staff seemed exceptionally trained and everyone was getting along great. I was more than a little bit impressed when I was done with my visit. While walking out the door I had the staff thank me for coming and that was what made me want to come back again. I'm so glad they've grown as a company and haven't lost that good ol' fashion charm!

This is by far my favourite movie theater now that they've renovated. The reclining seats here are 10x better than cineplex theaters; they have a lot of catching up to do. Service at the concession is pretty fast too as the wait isn't too bad even with a long line. Being able to reserve your seats online is one of the best things ever; no more worrying about getting bad seats.

I love this theater. The seats are reclining and you have adjustable foot rests. Not to mention their partnership with Atom. The app is magnificent. The building itself is not that big, so there's not much room for an arcade or other activities. The arcade is fairly small, but sufficient enough.

Nice Cinema complex but poorly designed amenities for the physically disabled. Even the beverage dispensers are almost impossible to reach for even those with good upper body Mobility. The staff are very nice however it is clear that the architects of the building did not fully consider accessibility. Not only for my Mobility point of view of using wheelchairs or scooters but how to actually operate the various machines at the concession stands. Without the help of the staff and it can get very busy and hard to find them. One could not possibly get a drink. I was rather shocked in this day in age and with a relatively new building to see such barriers.

The newly renovated theatres seats are game-changing. Never again do you need to awkwardly shuffle your way through an aisle to your seat with all that leg space! The reclining action of the seats is wonderful, and overall just a fantastically comfortable viewing experience. I'm not a fan of the sterile décor in the main area of the theatre though. I miss the tackiness of the old theatre; it feels like I'm stepping into a hospital in the new theatre.

To be able to watch a film and fully recline in my seat is pure joy! They have designed the theatres so that you are always able to walk through an isle (fully reclined) and not disturb anyone! Food, service, and ticket purchase was easy and excellent! Seriously recommend ????????

A few years ago, my wife and I stopped going, because it was a mess, washrooms, service, seating, etc. and went to Colossus instead. Recently we went there as the timing and the movie were right for us, and to our surprise it had vastly improved. Less commercials before the movie, better prices, seating was better to as you did not have walk up, but down to your seat, (we like to sit near the top). We're going back, in fact tonight to see Lee Daniel's the Butler.

Came here for my daughters 12th birthday. Arrived 40 minutes early and had our tickets printed in advance. There was one person in charge of taking tickets for admission and people were lined up out the doors. They only 4 concession tills open and we were late getting into the movie. Clearly unprepared for opening weekend and understaffed.

The reclining chairs make up for the lack of features offered at Cineplex. The perfect blend of comfortable home-theatre style seats with the big-screen viewing experience. With only 7-10 rows of seats, make sure you book in advance or arrive early. Small popcorn and soda costs $11 & combos come with candy & costs over $12 so you might want to save $ by having your snacks at home or at the neighboring mall before or after the show.

I don't know why but I love this cinemas . Washroom are clean the place is not congested at all they also have a special wheelchair Washroom . They have many screens you want to watch any movie Just Go to this one you will find it there. Seats are awesome very comfortable I like that staff is very friendly, respectful. Today there was some problem in my booking and I see the guy there maybe he was the manager he helped me completely he give me the refund of the first ticket and issue with the new one. Only problem is food is very costly than it should be, I know food in Cinema Cineplex are expensive but still. Good thing is they have huge reception for food so even if you're in hurry you will be served right away because that counters are big and Many . This is a complete place right close to Guildford Mall definitely going there again. Thank you Landsmark Surrey.

We went to see Toy Story 4 last night the 6:50pm show. The theater was FREEZING COLD!! The air conditioning was turned up way to high. 1/2 way through the show I had to get up and ask them to turn it down. The young staff just kinda laughed about it. Seemed as if they turned it off for 10-15 min then back on again. It was soooo cold our teeth were chattering. On our way out I mentioned it again to the two older men employees checking tickets and they just brushed it off and said Ya we will let them know. I asked who is THEM as I would let them know. They continued to say that they would let THEM know. So we left mad. :(

Prices are low compared to Silvercity and Colossus by about a buck. The staff seem pretty nice. Audio and video quality was fine. The seats are as comfortable as lawn chairs however and theater 7 smells like a sweaty gym sock.

They forget my candy a lot. The popcorn and drinks are great, and I understand they are so expensive because that’s how they make their money. Theatres are nice and clean, and the seats are so comfy and I feel like I’m right at home. Fun games to play while your waiting for your scheduled movie time. It’s a great theatre, unlike others I have been to.

Landmark cinemas is my go to place. I used to make the trek on the bus out to Langley, and go to cineplex. After the renovations Landmark takes the cake. The new reclining seats make watching movies extremely comfortable. Landmark isn't overpriced either. You can get tickets at a decent price, and popcorn/snacks too! The theaters themselves are quite large. The place always seems quite clean. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Not to mention the staff offer very efficient service.

I enjoy this theatre slightly more than the ciniplex ones. First of all, the Atom app for buying tickets is more convenient and allows you to refund your tickets right up til the show starts, unlike the ciniplex one that will not let you refund at all, even if you make a mistake. The seats in Landmark's version of vip are more comfortable and the recliner feature is better. It's a little cheaper too. I definitely recommend this theatre.

I didn't even make it past the front. I wanted to watch a movie and I said I was twelve and it was 14+. Another friend had no one with him and he went in just fine. (We're in the same grade by the way) Once you get some decent staff that aren't rude, and let certain people in, maybe, just maybe I'll get a ticket.

The smartest thing I’ve seen a movie theater do is the renovation that Landmark did to this venue. The recliner seats are absolutely the most comfortable seating. Walking in I felt like I had just entered skytrain station. It felt dirty and the service was slow especially at the concession stand. I literally kept listening for the familiar sounds of a skytrain to come out of no where. The recliner leather seats with out the big price like their VIP competitors were appreciated. It's unfortunate the customer service wasnt as stellar and left you not as comfortable as the seats. But even my experince with the seats had its disappointments since I had to carefully navigate over some backpacks left on the floor by our neighbouring seats. Overall the food was ok...but the customer service was as delightful and enthusiastic as a McDonalds. The price and seats were definately highlights of theater but the poor service and grungy feel of the store kind of made the comfy seats seem like a gimmick to excuse the poor service. Probably give em one more visit. Otherwise they've got nothing on The classy, bigger experince of VIP Cineplex.

The cinema for the most part is great. This one specifically has great recliner seats. The service for food and tickets is fast. I love Landmark cinemas! They have amazing chairs that recline in all of their theaters with a ton of legroom! their chairs are in pairs with liftable arm rest so you can cuddle with your date! They give you free popcorn refills when you buy a large popcorn! Theaters are much cleaner than most that I go to.... To top it off they are cheaper than Cineplex!

I just got home without finishing watching the movie. Just right after the movie start. I was eating pop corn and drinking coke. But the same time I felt something on the left hand side stair ways. I saw mouse was climbing on the side stair ways. I still can't believe what I saw. I couldn't stay there anymore. I asked for a free movie ticket for next time. But I wasted my time to drive all the way down to Surrey. Now I threw up everything what I ate. I know that it is not an employees fault but I still can't believe it what I saw. I'm not so sure about going back there again.

Horrible service! Lights were turned on above us the whole time the movie was playing and they only turned it off 20 mins. before the movie ended. A lady at the cashier called Natasha taking our order, deleted my order and only mine. intentionally and didn't even bother apologizing. Basically acted as if she delivered on my order as she asked me a question after that, but then not one of it were put in the list of orders. She was like "Oh I deleted it" while I was asking that I ordered this something and that I knew she heard me because she replied to me. Was late for my movie because of her. The manager didn't even bother apologizing nor to even compensate by giving my order for free since it was her staff's fault that she deleted it without anyone telling her to. Why do I have to pay for their staff's/team member's mistakes? Did I ask for it? I just wanted my food and that Natasha girl just ruined it! Natasha was also pretty rude by means of shutting me off and ignoring me. I'm a customer and for her to be like that.. DISRESPECTFUL! They don't know how to handle customers. Bad customer service! There was also this one time while in the middle of watching the movie we payed for, the big screen was shutted off, all black, while we could only hear the audio of the movie that we paid for. No one could careless to rewind it and we were left blank while guessing and imagining what actually happened in the climax of the story based on what we only heard! Horrible! I know that technically difficulties does happen sometimes but for no one to compensate or apologize for the problem, unacceptable! Also before going there which we planned on buying a ticket online, no one would bother answering the phone as we, yes WE, called them multiple times for some questions regarding the purchase of tickets.

This theater has the best recliner seats! They are huge and comfy. Even if you sit in the very first row it’s still comfortable. Peak hours the concession is long. Nice close by cinema where I live. Pretty clean and nice employees. They have very nice seats that recline. I accidently drop my pop corn few min. after I brought it once and after explaining to one employee they replace it with out questions asked. Awesome prices on reserved seating tickets! Smaller screens but seats more spread out, no risk of someone kicking the back of your seat or putting their feet on the ledge next to your head. The recliner chairs are amazing. Every 2 seats are connected and the middle can be pushed up for cuddles. Popcorn is yummy & they have a slushie machine. Absolutely LOVE the reclining chairs, super comfortable and relaxing! Not just a "tilting chair" like the other movie theater, it's an actual legs up reclining chair. The center arm bar also raises up out of the way to get a little closer to your date ????. I prefer to drive from Langley to this location just for these seats! The popcorn service also seems to be faster than the competition.

Wow the renovations on this theatre are amazing. Very nice, easy to navigate. I love how comfortable the new reclining seats are. Inside the theatre seat arrangement works well, how the seats are staggered so you get the perfect view of the screen. Staff is very kind and helpful. Funny reading people complain about food at a movie theatre. I can't comment on that but the reclining seats are awesome!! Middle arm rest goes fully up if you're on a date ;) and for$12 instead of $20+ for VIP....I'll take landmark over VIP all day everyday!!

I went here to watch a movie and the reclining theatre chairs were comfy and nice to sit on. However, the food at the concession stall was overpriced and lacked quality. Obviously, I don't expect a 5 star Michelin restaurant quality there, but the nachos chips were very stale and expensive (for the size). The employees were also unwelcoming and barely smiled at all. Overall, I enjoyed my movie but the food was terrible and the staff were not hospitable.

Landmark needs to buy out all Cineplex in the lower mainland... They have the best most comfortable seats. Cineplex only upgraded their Strawberry Hill theatres, every other one is outdated. Only complaint is the food... Too plain. Overall a great experience.

They seem to have a problem with not being able to scan a phone with dark mode enabled. The lady decided to tell us to step to the side and disable dark mode, because “she has a line”, instead of simply entering the code associated with the barcode. Soon after, she tells two other groups the exact same thing! Considering most people watch movies after dark, and dark mode is enabled after sunset, they should really find a solution to this problem, or simply be more accommodating by just typing in the code.

So much nicer than Ciniplex. The seats are much more comfortable and recline like a lazy-boy with ample room in front of you so people can comfortably walk in-front/past you to go to the washroom. We drive out from Coquitlam to go here despite having another cinema down the street. Okay, so there are so many reasons why: refillable drinks and popcorn, AMAZING SEATS, cheaper than silver city cinemas, still have Tuesday deals, staff are friendly. I pay big bucks for concession and seating at any other theater and end up sitting in airline seats that don't recline. Why wouldn't I come to Landmark and pay a little less for a BETTER experience with Lazy-boy grade seating and electric automatic recliners?? I'm so happy we discovered this place.

I really liked this theater until I learned/saw for myself that it was INFESTED WITH RATS. Saw a huge rat running around and reported it to staff - they said others have reported seeing rats before but there's not much they can do because people leave behind food. The problem is, staff do not clean the halls very well in between showings. We always find garbage and food left behind. Many times I've found the seats to be greasy and the washrooms are usually filthy. It's no wonder rats have moved in. Management needs to get serious about keeping this place clean.

Now that movies are now allowed again it's a good place to go! They were running low on almost every kind of snack food possible besides popcorn which was kind of a disappointment so be certain to grab something beforehand and you'll be good. You reserve your seats now when buying and they still have social distancing in effect so the theater seating was awesome. They've even made it so you can rent the whole theater for yourself and 19 friends for a very reasonable price and the selection of movies you can pick is pretty good, new and old ones.

If another counter was open, we'd have caught the previews which could have inspired another movie night. When I found out that there was a landmark cinemas nearby my house I quickly went there to check it out. Not only is this movie theatre better than cineplex it also has the best popcorn and staff members. I live around Langley and the closest movie theatre is a cineplex which makes me sad it’s not landmark. Inside the movie theatre you will realize that the cost you pay and cineplex compared to landmark is very different. Landmark theatres ONLY have reclinable chairs for $12.00 while in cineplex you get those small Uncomfortable chairs for the same price. If you wanted reclinable chairs in cineplex you would have to pay way more than just $12. My advice....bring a blanket and go find yourself a landmark cinemas to enjoy the best theatre experience!

Out of both Landmarks that my husband and I go to, this one is our favorite. It is a bit of a drive from Burnaby but via the highway, it is the same amount of distance that if we were to go to the New West one. (Parking is also free over here at Guildford and less maneuvering the small streets just to get to Landmark) The seats are way larger than Cineplex has to offer and you can press the button to adjust the level of recline you like. My favorite is to recline all the way and bring in my blanket, makes it that much cozier to watch the movie! The prices are certainly more reasonable than going to Cineplex. I highly recommend going to watch your favorite big screen films at Landmark.

Landmark Movie theatres are dope! We pretty much hit every other one of their spots on the West Coast and were up for trying a new location. This place did not disappoint and delivered the same great consistency. Huge screens in a dynamic, modern and clean amphitheater boasting fantastic audio and visuals with fully reclinable leather lazyboy style seats. We didn't take advantage of the popcorn this time as we were full from lunch, but the concession stand smelt super buttery and yummy for sure. They have competitive fantastic rates as well as regular scheduling of many variety of movies including daily deals and offers, I'm earning frequently good amounts on their new loyalty program. Make sure you buy your tickets in advance as it gets super busy and is a popular spot! Very good location and a plethora of great cuisine around town.

100% better than Cineplex. The prices are more reasonable, the concession allows refills on large items, they have reserved seating included in your ticket price. And more recently added recliners to almost all theaters. AND they didn't jack up the prices because of it. They have more than 1 "deals" night: cheap Tuesdays, Date Night Wednesdays, Child and Senior days, etc. Very friendly staff at both locations that we've been to, and rarely crowded which is a good thing. Long lines go fast. We'll never go anywhere else again.

One of the perks of being a Local Guide is a free ticket to Landmark Cinema after achieving a certain level. I used the code before it expired ???? Actually, I have been here for a handful of times even before the latest renovation so when I got to sit on those recliner seats the first time, it took me to a new level of comfort and luxury. The management did a great job to improve this place. This location also screens Filipino films periodically so it's an advantage to the Pinoy community in Guildford and its neighborhood. Atom app is so easy to use so it was a breeze to purchase a ticket and reserve a seat. Thank you, Landmark cinema and google maps for the freebie ???? !

Landmark is the only Cinema that gets our business. Cineplex charges you large prices, for regular sized drink and popcorn. I get a free refill on ordering large here, just like we should. The seats are always clean and roomy, and the staff are excited to be there.

We are supposed to be 2 seats apart but people move around to get the seats they want and dont bother about social distancing. Someone should check this, whats the point of seat selection? Went to watch F&F9. The screen I went to (screen 4) had Dolby Atmos which made the audio sound superb. Bass was powerful and clear, while the mids and highs were clear while not being harsh. Sound was completely distortion free. Unfortunately picture quality was a little bit off, it looked like the projector was slightly out of focus. Cinema was clean and well maintained. Overall recommend watching movies here.

We absolutely love this theatre. There's always something new and exciting playing to accommodate every age group. They really strive to be inclusive by offering movies in other languages (Hindi and Punjab), baby-friendly grown-up movies, sensory-friendly films, and the theatres are wheelchair accessible. They offer great deals depending on the day you go, time of the day, or whether you're a student or a senior. We also love the reclining seats and the ability to reserve our seats in advance. The toilets are always kept clean which is a bonus. If you show up too far in advance or don't want to leave straight away they have a decent arcade. The concession food is good with an adequate variety. We've always found every level of staff to be friendly and professional.

Lights! Camera! Action! That is exactly how it feels in this ultra modern theater in Guildford, Surrey. The air conditioning in the Summer is a blessing too! It is truly cavernous and spacious when you enter. The ceilings are a mile high and it is so convenient to get drinks and popcorn. The staff are conscious of getting you into your seats as quickly as possible. The seats in the theater are so comfortable that you feel like you are back home in your own comfy seat! What a great experience. If there was an area for improvement it would be the system for dispensing tickets and claiming prizes from the kid's game area should be more clearly marked. Without staff explaining how it works it is confusing. Perhaps put up a sign with more details or even have a screen with a video explaining.

I really quite enjoyed myself when I went. It's casual and reminds me of the theatres I went to when I was a kid. The tickets are cheaper than Cineplex and the popcorn is just as good. The thing that makes them better than others are the reclining leather chairs. Gone are the days of neck pain from staring up at the screen. Just try not to fall asleep!

Tried this theater for the first time today with my husband. Very comfy and spacious seats, very clean and great prices. Definitely our new favorite place for movies. We highly recommend! We went to a 430 show on a Sunday, not too busy. Coming out, there were big lines for snacks and to enter the theater. Would suggest if you're coming at a peak time, buy your tickets on line and come early to grab your munchies so you won't miss the trailers! Highly recommend, great theater.

Undergoing renovation, very promising! All motorized recliner seats with a storage armrest between love seats. Plenty of leg room and seat space. Love that you can prereserve your seats via online or app. I have great memories of the guildford cinemas as a kid, and have been really reluctant the past few years after it went to landmark and started to feel dated. Came in today and the remodel is looking really good! Excited to see it coming back to life. Food was decently priced compared to the local cineplex venues, even with scene. Only spent $36 for three slices, two large drinks, popcorn, candy and nachos. Staff was extremely friendly. If they end up having a VIP auditorium with seat service, this place would get 6 stars from me.

Food is good, lots of choices. The theaters to my knowledge are all the recliner chairs. The establishment is clean and well maintained. They have quite a few games in their arcade, and they have some nice prizes. The staff are very friendly. My only issue is that the soap in the bathrooms is ither pink or blue and scented, it would be nice if it was uncolored and unscented, or at least one soap dispenser in each washroom is uncolored and unscented.

This theatre has amazing seats, they recline, each seat has its own cup holder and you feel like you are sitting in your own living room because you are not fighting over an armrest with the person that is sitting beside you, lots of room to snuggle in and watch a great movie. It's always a good experience, they have Sofa seats and are very comfortable, but this theater is usually a little more expensive than the cineplex and don't have a rewards program so there is no way to get a little more value for your buck. Movie and popcorn will cost about $50.00 here. Nonetheless will still go back, it is a good movie experience.

This is a really good theatre. I like that they have mainstream and Bollywood films as well. The place is always packed with people. It's great how they have recliner seats with massive amounts of leg room, and only for an extra $3 a ticket! My only negatives are it isn't always in the best shape cleanliness wise, and it gets packed and sold out quickly, so buying tickets well ahead of time is practically a must, and don't get me started on how hard it is to find parking around the Christmas season.

If you just wanna go to a good theater, and have comfy seats this is the best I know of. Features reserved seating, scheduled mobile food pickup, reclined seating with love seat options with foot rest, wide isles, very clean. Standard 3d and non 3d available. Also seems to offer foreign films. One downside, no coffee served, but they let you bring in coffee from outside.

We saw Solo at 10:00pm on a Saturday. I was surprised at how busy the theatre was, generally! I suppose I don't often see late movies with the young'uns, though. =) I really like this theatre, for it's pricing and seating. Tickets and concessions aren't incredibly expensive, and the seating is amazingly spacious, plus reservable. A night out for a fraction of the cost of going to a Cineplex. S lot of staff on hand to help the long line up of movie goers in line for movie snacks. The only complaint would be against the men's washroom. Not all the soap dispenser worked, and the floors was wet around the urinals and the sinks, making the washroom smell foul.

Nice theatre. Only good thing really about this theatre is the recliner seats. Spacious and comfortable. And if on a date, the arm rest can raise up but must be on the ones that connect with eachother. The photos where you choose your seats will show anyways. The popcorn was not warm when i got it and did not have much flavour even when butter was on it. But i love the fountain drink machines. That is my favourite ! Easy parking and you are also close to the mall if you want to go chill befote or after the movie. Overall, good date night movie theatre.

That was until we had to run out of the theatre due to mice running under our chairs and near the entrance. I've been to this theatre a few times and this one time stood out to me. My friend had brought in cough drops because she had a sore throat and the ticketer person (older Caucasian fellow) told us to throw it out because it wasn't allowed. Large parking lot, almost completely uncovered. Lots of theatres and viewing options (ie 3D, reserved seating or not). Seats are amazing, like lazy boy recliners, so I can fall asleep easily when tired. Easy online purchase of tickets so lineup to get in is usually short or non existent, self serve pop on the side away from lineups for purchase. Usually a little unkempt in washrooms. Bright and spacious lobby with some seating but not enough washrooms for the size of theatre.

Called theater 30 min later...1 of the young kids working there found it under seat cleaning up and turned it in to lost and found where I picked it up later that night. Move aside Cineplex! Went by for the first time and wow have we been doing movies wrong. Nice open area, lines can be a little long but for the price and the THEATRES it's so worth it. Tons of room in the theatre with comfy reclining chairs. Movie, snacks and two tickets for $35 and an amazing theatre experience. Very happy and will gladly take the 25 minute trek to go back!

Went to the 7pm show with my 2 boys to watching Toy Story 4 today. We got there early, the theatre wasn’t very full yet, so we just sat, munching on our snacks. I could hear a crackling sounds coming from my left, like someone squishing plastic. The entire row to my left was empty, so I ignored it. The sound continued. All of a sudden, a thought occurred to me; could it be a mouse? I turned on the flashlight on my phone and aimed it between my seat and the one to my left. Sure enough there was a mouse sitting on an empty plastic 3D glasses wrapper on the floor between the seats! As I screamed the mouse ran away. I did try to cover my mouth right away, as not to scare my kids! There were only 3-4 other people in the theatre at that time and they didn’t even hear me scream! My heart was beating so fast, I was scared. I found the manager and told him what had happened. He was very kind and apologetic and offered to change my seat. I said it wouldn’t make a difference. If the mouse was there and ran away, it could be anywhere. He offered to reimburse me for the show. I told him I’d try to go back to watch the movie as my kids were really looking forward to it. He gave me some passes for a future movie, which was very kind. The manager also said he’d inform the pest company to come in. Well after that, my kids and I couldn’t even sit there. We were so paranoid we’d see a mouse again or that it would come up on our seats! So we told the manager we were leaving and he was generous enough to reimburse us for all of our tickets, as well as keep the passes for a future show. The experience was horrific, the manager was kind and generous, but on the ride back home, my kids and I decided we wouldn’t be going back to watch a movie at the theatre any time soon!

I liked this theatre better when it was Silver City, but the upgrades were definitely a step in the right direction from Empire Theatres. Services is always good, the Asian guy with the glasses who scans tickets is friendly, Popcorn is always cooked good with right amount of butter, the FreeStyle machine is lit and I go hard on all the Pibb Xtra flavours, and the recliner seats are so comfortable it even allows me to fall asleep through garbage films my friends were so excited to have me go suffer through, despite the Green Splat Rotten Tomatoes reviews. Overall, it will never be Silver City, but Landmark is pretty damn close.

I love their seat! Very comfortable!! First time visited since pandemic, and they did a renovation. However, there were left over popcorn under my seat and seems like they do not clean between interval. Washroom was also not cleaned. Hope they can follow the safety rules and clean well.

I love this theatre. I go here all the time with my husband. The seats are so comfy and theatre rooms are clean. My only complaint is really slacking on the washrooms. Every single visit (I come often) the women’s wardroom is horrendous. Most of the stalls never have toilet paper, have pee on the floors, sometimes feces. Toilet paper all over the ground in the stalls, the sinks never have soap, paper towel empty and the garbage bins overflowing. It’s just bad. I’ll keep coming to the theatre but seriously please try to have better upkeep!

Comfortable place to watch a movie. Extra wide cushioned reclining seats in every theatre with cupholders. Recloners have full foot rests that come up flat so you can stretch your legs right out. And don't worry about having to get up to let people pass, there is enough room for people to walk past your ot stretched legs without contact, and I'm 6 foot. Every 2 seats the middle armrest comes up if you want to get closer to your partner. Typical concession, but refillable pop at self serve stations and large popcorn is also refillable at the concession. All this and a couple bucks cheaper than Cineplex!

I took my two students who have Autism to see Life of pets 2 today....I was nervous leaving them in the movie theatre by themselves as I ran out to get popcorn.... the line was long and I didn’t want to disappoint them .... so I asked a young lady if there was a way to get popcorn faster ... she immediately took me to another line and another staff member filled my order ! I got back to my students before they began to get anxious ... I really appreciated their kindness. Our experience was awesome and I will be back with my students ! They have the best seats but there isnt much for food options. The Atom app is also supposed to allow you to prepay for the food and request the food to be prepared. The concessions cost more through the app but it lets you skip the line and the food is supposed to be ready for you. I've probably done this atleast 10 times and there hasnt been a single time where the food was actually prepared. Poor service.

The seats are the best! The machine wouldn't take our gift card and when we checked the balance at the end of the movie, the gift cards were fine their machine wasn't working. Not the first time and no compensation for the frustration. The gift cards can't be used on their web site either. Frustration!!

I have been to this movie theater three times, and the first two I had no complaints. On my most recent visit however, as I was leaving the movie theater I saw, in plain sight, two mousetraps and one had a dead mouse in it. This dead mouse had clearly been there for longer than just the movie. I am horrified that the theater staff did not work to at least hide this a little better. It was a very sad thing for me to say, and I can not imagine how sad it would have been for a child. Please work on your maintenance

There was another gentleman waiting in the line with me also for a refill. We were both told we have to wait in the regular line. We asked to speak to a manager. Derek the manager arrived and he just reiterated what the employee said and had no sense of customer service.

I would rate this location decently because they provided the basic formalities of a movie theater, and also the new feature of reclined seating and reservations. Yet, the sticky floors and sometimes spilled drinks have reduced the score just by a little. Overall it is a good place, but it is overpriced compared tot he strawberry hill cineplex cinema.

I love the new look and renovations. The movie theatre is often cleaned up and looks great inside. The automation of payment for movies is awesome and customer service is reasonable. I am shocked as to how expensive it is for a cup of pop and some popcorn. The theatre rooms themselves are put together quite well and seats are comfortable. Parking can be difficult to find since it gets very busy.

I am completely blown away by the new leather lazy boy seats. For the price your paying, I am a happy camper. My girlfriend and I love snuggling up together in a blanket. The middle arm rest can be pushed up and it feels like a love seat. It's so comfortable.

This cinema is alright. It's newly renovated the line for food takes forever to get through with only 2 people working at til, movie usually starts before getting the food. I discovered that they have a fast track to order food and pay, you do it through their app and scan your barcode in the fast track line and you get your food right away without having to wait in line.

Great local theatre to take the family. They have recently updated the seating and now the family can recline in comfort whime watching a movie. Popcorn and food prices are reasonabke when compared to other theatre chains... the ticket prices are lower too... 2 adults and 2 children come to about $41 vs $56 in Langley. The seating capacity is lower & seats can be reserved/purchased in advance via their website. They used to have greater variety in food selection/vendors and the washroom cleanliness need to be better managed. 4.5 stars.

I'm a fan of this theatre overall, particularly the comfy seats. That said, I've encountered staffing issues in the past, where they just don't have enough people on concession, and on my last visit, the drink fountains were having all sorts of problems, including being out of ice and out of coke! I'll probably go back, but those details are stopping me from giving this place 5 stars.

I will never go to Cineplex again. I loved coming to Landmark. I have been to Cineplex my entire life and since coming to Landmark, I realized how enjoyable movie theaters can be. Not only are the chairs more comfortable because you can turn them into a bed, but there is actually room to walk past people. The popcorn was fresh, the washrooms were clean. How come everyone doesn't go to Landmark?

The prices are slightly lower than at Cineplex. Admission, Popcorn, Food and Drink are all 5 to 15% cheaper than at Cineplex. The seating is what I and everyone else RAVE about. Every seat in the house is a comfy leather power reclining chair that when fully reclined STILL allows people to easily walk past in front of you. This is provided at no extra charge as is not the case at Cineplex. And the extra charge is for much less comfortably designed chairs. With the ability to recline, the front row is no longer a bad place to sit as now your neck is cradled as your leaned back and you can be immersed in the film. They let you pour your own drinks too so refills are no problem for any size drink! AND.. They are the only ones in the biz that still refill large popcorns! Cineplex no longer does! Landmark needs more locations. Like Langley for instance, to compete with that rundown monstrosity Cineplex Colossus. Try a Landmark theater you wont regret it.

I don't think you'll find cheaper tickets in the lower mainland than at Landmark. This cinema has undergone several upgrades over the last 2 years or so, and it up to par with the more well known Cineplex brand.

One of the better movie theaters out there. Although this is farther than other options, I chose this over the others for a couple of reasons. First of all Landmark cinemas offers more flexibility when buying tickets as they are parterned with many different apps and websites. The other reason is the reclining seats in all theaters at no extra cost. The rows are also very spacious. However the concession is highly overpriced as with all theaters.

Surprisingly this place rates very high on my list of comfortable cinemas. You wouldn’t think it for this small place but ever since the new renovations were finished the place has been my little cinema hideaway. Comfortable seats, very comfortable seats, small cinema sizes just the way I like it. The people there are always fun and full of energy. Again you wouldn’t think it but it’s got a lot going for it.

Maybe this is to be expected in Surrey, but its clear there are drug users and quite a number of unruly people who attend the theater. Landmark cant be blamed for this, and I do think they make an effort to keep the place safe and clean though.

Great theatre with the best seats around. The reclining seats go all the way back and make for a very comfortable movie going experience. The seats have always been cleaning and in working order when we've gone to a movie there. The reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is because they should increase their concession offerings and work on getting licensed. The Cineplex VIP experience has better food and drink, but the seats are not as nice.

Landmark is so much better than Cineplex now, with spacious and comfortable seating. I don't even bother going to Cineplex anymore even though I have a bunch of scene points. Bathrooms could be cleaner, but people are animals, what can you do.

I’m surprised that so far only two have brought up the ongoing Mice problem at this theatre because I myself know at least 10 other people if not more, who ran into a mouse at some point during their movie here. I’m even more surprised that the management, who’s very well aware of all this, continues to ignore this issue and sweep it under the carpet. This place got HEAVILY infested by mice in 2016 when it used to be Empire Theatre. I used to go there every Sunday with my brother to catch up on one of the friday releases, it was our own little tradition that we started back when we wer freshmen at highschool. But that came to an end when I spotted a mouse nibbling on my purse’s shoulder strap. God knows how long it had been doing that for. Anyways, after this incident I took a long break for almost 2 years from all movie theatres. Fast forward 2 years later; landmark theatre took over and there was all that hype going on about the renovations and recliners etc. I decided to give it another shot even though I was super paranoid for the whole time. It was a great experience, I was impressed and overall quite happy. Once every 2 weeks or so, I’d come here for movies with my friends. But then last night, I was there to watch the strangers until I kept seeing something strange from the corner of my eye which later turned out to be another darn bloody mouse going up and ddown the stairs. Jesus not again! Anyways I was outta there within like 5 seconds & went straight to the front desk to report it to a “manager”. & offcourse he knew exactly what I was talking about so cleeearly he was already aware. Without even letting me finish what I had to say (probably to keep other customers from hearing) he quickly “offered” me a refund even tho I’m not sure if you’d call it an offer but anyways. & call me old fashioned but I was expecting an apology more than the refund, an apology that I never received. How do people like him even qualify for management positions when they should actually be hired to add butter on the popcorn and stock napkins. Oh well. Never again, I’ve said my goodbye lol

We always sit in the back row where the seats recline and you have a lot of personal space. Always nice a clean !!! Advise you to book tickets ahead , then you go straight through ;)

Once we moved to Surrey and got a taste for the only way to watch a big screen movie, we never looked back and Cineplex is dead to us! Sadly Landmark is closed hopefully only temporarily. We're crossing our fingers & toes.

Love this theatre. The fully reclining chairs make it feel like at home in your lazy boy., huge screens & Great prices too. Check out the new Laser Ultra theatres that were renovated during the Covid shut down. They’re amazing. Word of warning it can get pretty cold in the theatres, Make sure you wear a jacket just in case.

this is the worst theater i have ever been too. There was still 10 minutes left in the movie and they turned the lights on in the theater and the sound off. We complained to a manager but he didn't seem to care and said "ya...it did the same thing in one of the other theaters the other day"

Like the reclining seats. Like the ability to pre-select your seats online. Long line at the concessions, but it moved fairly quickly. Individual theatres do not list the movie playing inside, so be sure you have the correct number.

The reclining seats are the biggest selling feature, they generally don’t have as many movie playing as the Cineplex, but I physically can’t go to any other theatre cause I can’t stand normal theatre seats, the bathrooms are pretty dirty and usually are kept in low stocked ie. no toilet paper/paper towels. And the snacks are salty and expensive, but what can you expect from a movie theater. Also just curios of what your protocol is for people to complain about others being disruptive during the movie, what exactly do you do to comply?

Comfortable seats, better price, clean atmosphere. Had a great time first time coming back to the theatre after covid. One downside would be that there were a few people in front of me with their phones and talking but I guess there's not much the theatre can do about it.

Im a regular at this cinema and things have been good until today... so i was buying popcorn and i gave the guy a TWENTY DOLLAR BILL and when he went to give me the change he gave me 2 dollars?! When was popcorn 18 dollars?? It wasnt he was just blind and thought that i gave him a TEN DOLLAR BILL i dont know if i have to explain how a 20 dollar bill looks like but i know for sure that i DID NOT give him 10 dollars. Amar, the cashier even called his supervisor, broie and she counted it out but apparently the total was off by $8 but thats ????not ????my ????problem???? I only want my 12 dollars back i dont care if it was the machines problem but can you at least just give me by money back?!? I even missed the entire beginning of my movie because of this. So the supervisor said to meet me back after the movie to check the surveillance cameras and stuff so we did after the movie but GUESS WHAT... SHE LEFT. I was pretty pissed so i found this other supervisor and she called her and apparently the total was CORRECT?? UMM DIDNT YOU JUST TELL ME THAT THE TOTAL WAS EIGHT DOLLARS OFF?!? If the girl didnt have such a rude tone i would just let it go its just a couple of dollars but now im PISSED. Like can you just give me my money back??! They checked the surveillance cameras and im still waiting for my money.. this was my worst experience here.????????

I can describe myself as a moviegoer, I love the movies, I love the experience, and for that to be complete the theatre has to provide, I'm talking size of the screen, quality of picture, sound engineering, comfort of seat, ease of movement, theatre layout, prices and of course quality of food. Landmark Cinemas at Guildford provided most of those and I'm very satisfied, but I can definitely recommend an improvement to the food/snack quality and variation, also if they could add a membership/loyalty card that would be a big plus. In total I'm very happy with the upgrade this movie theatre did lately, I used to go to cineplex Langley, but with their reclining seats, prices, seat booking and vicinity (near to my place) I'm a 100% converted customer...2 thumbs up.

Amazing place. Very comfy and big reclining seats. Very popular and busy place. Pre order online or you will have long lines and possibly no seats as the online crowd fills up fast. We learned that the hard way. Lol. Same prices as other movie theaters but way more luxury. Awesome place

Although it lost a lot of its charm when they took down all the cool stuff from the ceiling, the addition of powered reclining seats, wide walkways between the rows and chairs paired together with your very own armrest more than make up for it. Unlike most other theaters that force you to pay extra for this, every theatre at Landmark come equipped with it. Also you get to book your specific seat either online or in the lobby so you can take as long as you need at concession and not have to worry about being forced to sit next to a man that sounds like a horse chewing his popcorn while your date sits across the theatre getting macked on by a thirteen year old kid.... Not that this ever happened.

Went to see Bohemian Rhapsody. The theatre is an amazing experience. I'm not a huge fan of the reclining chairs - I prefer to look straight ahead at the screen. But... The chairs are plush and very comfortable. I appreciated the ability to flip up the arm rest between me and my wife and hold her hand. All the people I interacted with were patient and helpful, and the sound and picture quality in the theatre was great.

Sub par They ran out of fountain drinks. The lights in theatre weren't turned off 5 minutes after the movie started. Then at the end the lights were turned on until after many people left the theatre.

discovered Landmark Cinemas just over a year ago and since then have converted at least 20 other classmate moms from our langley theatre. Seating is amazing, not only the comfiest recliners but to have walk room between the Isles is a huge bonus. Free refills on large popcorn is an amazing value... even if you don't take advantage it's still nice to know that it's there if you need a little Top-Up. Speaking of popcorn it's not too salty and when you pay a dollar for butter they squirt in the middle of the bag and at the top ! The fact that they have early morning movies and at a discounted rate is beauty. Their drink machines are awesome. The location is good and the building is clean plus staff are nice. The reserved seating online is very simple to use and extremely handy. I'm sure I missed something I have nothing but 100% rave review. I'm not quite sure how any Cineplex within a 20 km distance is still in business. Landmark really sets the benchmark for what a theatre visit should be.

What a great place to watch a movie now. The theater has reclining lounge chairs now. Very comfortable , will be coming here for more movie nights for sure. I know its hard to keep the place clean but it did seem a bit messy, so people pick up own litter and drop in the garbage on the way out

Food line up was busy. Food line up took 20 minutes. When I got to the cashier.... no hot dogs, no pretzel dogs, no nachos,. Only hot item they had was popcorn!! Only one size drink (500 ml plastic bottle) 13$ for those 2 items. Theatres been closed for how long.???... and yet unprepared for the limited amount of people allowed to show up. Movies are great but maybe update signboards or announce when you are out of somethn so people don't stand in line for nothing.

Seats still best but thats about it, they did so well at start of pandemic but just don't seem to care now, people change seats and sit next to you to join friends, mentioned it to staff and was told if they are in a group its ok for them to do so. The concession stand had minimal and the pop machines are basically out of all flavors, theaters not cleaned properly between movies and garbage cans in lobby jammed full.. poor performance, really poor

Disturbing, there was a mice infestation in theater 2... we told the manager and staff and the reaction was not what w expected. Called head office to let them know... no reply. Holding off the pics but you can imagine... mice scurrying around behind and below your seat. Will not be taking the family back.

This is now out go movie theatre. The seats are so comfortable, so much better than similar theatre chains. Popcorn is great and the combos are cheaper than Cineplex as well. Super convenient location next to Guildford Mall and all of the surrounding restaurants.

I got two tickets for spiderman weeks apart and they both got cancelled for a broken projector. Used gas to get there and time wasted when they rejected us. They refunded us and gave us free admission tickets that expired the very next day.

Only down side here is: No matter what the weather, temperature outside or season in the year. This place always has the air-conditioner just cranked. Bring a blanket! I went on the hottest day on recording the lowermainland. So I wouldn't have to worry about my kids getting heat stroke. Wearing shorts etc ...& I almost froze to death. Then in the late fall wearing Jean's, hoodie, jacket etc. I had to take my jacket off to cover our legs. No one adjusts this in the whole building during the year etc.

Staff don't even check tickets and allow anybody in. Had two people in our seats who bought tickets for the wrong day. Informed staff and they didn't care. Slow service at the concession and very rude staff. Out of a lot of items ex. Pretzel dogs, hot dogs etc. Many pop machines weren't working and out of flavors. No slushie machines either. Tried to complain online since and by phone but no response. Horrible experience.

Comfortable theatre with reserved reclining seats. The drinks are self served coca cola make your own drink machines which gives you hundreds of variations. Theatre is clean and tidy. I like the concession is a single line to multiple tills. Screens are smaller than Cineplex Odeon Avx screens however they are all curved which provides a better screening experience.

Way better than Cineplex... I'm a movie buff and after Landmark renovated to reclining seats and ample space I just couldn't bring myself to go anywhere else. PLUS... The service is great, popcorn is better and the pricing is comparatively great!
