My wife & I are seniors and don't mind waiting until new release movies are a little "old". The price for seniors is $3.75ea on all days of the week and $3.75 for everyone on Tuesdays. Concessions are also more reasonably priced than most cinemas. We have gone to both Hollywood 3 Cinemas (Surrey & Pitt Meadows) and found them relatively comfortable (not as nice as the new "lounge chairs" cinemas but still in good condition and soft. All employees have been courteous & friendly.

I don't like the popcorn, the nachos were pretty good but they got rid of them quite recently. They also got rid of Diet Coke for no apparent reason. Theatre is alright temperature wise but the seats are outdated. Cheap prices if you can't get a deal at Landmark.

If you are able to dodge spoilers and wait to watch a movie a month or so after the original release date, Hollywood 3 is the theater for you. It is a fair-priced, no fuss movie theater for the more frugal movie goer. It is a community staple in Surrey.

First time trying out this local cinema! It's actually a nice cozy place to watch movies that are a bit past their release dates. It's not as nice as what you would find in a Cineplex or Landmark theater but it does the job if all you want to do is grab some popcorn and watch a movie in a big screen! The seats are so so, I would still prefer the landmark cinema seats but for $3.75 on Tuesdays and $5 for any other day, it's a pretty good deal! For such a cheap price, I would recommend that you try it for yourself and see if the experience suits you. At least you're helping a local business! If not, then make it worthwhile at Landmark Cinemas with their nice comfy seats and their refillable large popcorn! ????

Check out this cinema before you check out other cinema. The best value cinema in the city. Only $5 for regular, 3.5$ for martinee. Particularly if you have missed some want-to-go of the season . Most of movies here are second rounds which means you can catch up good ones when those ones no longer available in the tier 1 cinema. From time to time, there are super fresh and good movies, aka limited release, when those companies use smaller cinema to test the market before large release.

Always a fan of discount theaters. Limited choices for snacks but those snacks are also cheaper than the larger venues. You can watch a movie with popcorn and drink for 15 bucks here...even in 3D. Their party deals seem well priced,...even though I have never taken part of them. Friendly staff that always chat it up with the customers if they have the time will make you feel like they value your patronage...something that many businesses lack today. With Dairy Queen, Little Caesars and Safeway next door...you can always eat before you watch a movie but I recommend buying something while there...it helps them stay in business.

This is an older movie theatre.. The chairs are stiffer and not as comfortable as the larger newer theatres. The ambience , too, is dated. The good news is that admission is cheaper than the regular theatres as is the popcorn amd goodies. A shout out to the staff that get to know the regulars. Both the staff and manager are friendly and make you feel welcome. $5 admission at this establishment is a steal. Great place to take the kids with the reasonable rates.

Looks like they got new seats, was in cinema 1. Like this theater its small and reminds me of the good old days before huge multiplexes. The popcorn today was so salty, its been 2 hours since I left the theater and my lips are still hurting from the salt. If its this bad next time will have to skip the snacks. Why is the popcorn salty, to sell more drinks? Let people add salt if thats what they want, heard other people complain too. Dont they know salt is the silent killer! Guildford had this problem before too.

This chain renovated seats, screen and systems but prices are half or less of what is "normal". Staff is very friendly. Movie progression seems to be Rialto->Caprice->Hollywood 3 (Newton). With wach step tix go down in price and at Newton 2 tix less than the cost of large popcorn and 2 drinks.

Nice, comfortable cinema, excellent value for money - especially for families. For the most part, I enjoy taking my kids here and recommend it to all. The biggest negative would be the habit these days of having ticket sales through the concession. While this makes sense during slow periods, it certainly does NOT make sense during peak times. Sometimes it's nice to just buy my tickets, sit the kids down and then pop out to get snacks. I think anyone just wanting to buy tickets would rather not be forced to wait behind 15-20 other people who are having trouble deciding which flavour drink to get or debating whether it's worthwhile getting a 'combo'. If they were to go back to selling tickets through the box office, or have a separate line at concession for ticket-only sales, their "Service" rating would increase. On a side note, I have sent several Emails to the management (using the Email address on their business card) enquiring about bookings for a charity fundraiser, but they have NEVER got back to me. When an enquiry about giving them money gets no response, I can only wonder what the response would be like if someone contacted them with a complaint.

Awesome movie theater for the price. A little old looking but really it's new were it counts. Comfortable seating, clean and well taken care of. Admission price is under 5 dollars for most movies and the food is typically priced for a theater and doesn't taste cheap. Doesn't have very many screens but plays a few different movies at a time. Doesn't have the newest movies but you should know that for the price. Easy to bring food into if that's your thing but you should at least buy popcorn and a pop to support the theater so it doesn't have to shut down.

Hollywood 3 is a good place to catch a movie which just ended its run at the 'main' theaters, but that's about it. The seats are uncomfortable and more often then not they have some kind of technical troubles.

Long lineups to buy tickets from concession caused us to miss the first 5-10 mins of a movie but the theatre itself was decent. The screen and sound was enjoyable and immersive even though we sat to the side-front as the middle seats were all taken. Screening a good selection of films long after Cineplex had dropped them.

Was not sure what to expect for a second run film theatre with super cheap prices but was really impressed with the upkeep, variety of film choices (kid, family and older options) and experienced staff. You purchase movie tickets at the concession stand which was convenient as you could order drinks and snacks and pay for everything all together. Theatre was pretty large and sound was great (saw Moana with family). Chairs seemed a bit dated but not uncomfortable for my fluffy buttock. Theatre was a little dirty on the floor but nothing grotesque. Overall impressed and will definitely come back again.

This is a must movie experience. It is like having your own personal theater for the price. Food is of course cinema quality. A good place to go and not spend a fortune to see a movie. They often play an over abundance of childrens movies, but what can you do. The staff is polite. The theatre is clean and the floor not sticky. Tuesday is of course a good day to go, due to it being a cheapie day. My family and I go at least once or twice a month.

As compared to other theater it is below standard. The left and right side front row side seats are really horrible and defenetly give you neck pain. The good thing is it is the local theater runs regional Indian movies run by local community groups as it is the cheapest rental theater avalible to them.

It's a good place when compared to the ticket prices. The theatre holds some special shows for the South Indian movies too. Inside the theatre looks ancient and initially I was apprehensive about the sound quality but once the movie started, it was fine. The seats are not very comfortable and are very rigid. Overall, you get what you paid for in the beginning.

Concession was a bit expensive but admission was really cheap. Unfortunately the floor had a spill from the earlier showing and it wasn't cleaned up in between shows so the floor was messy right down the middle. Only 10 people were there total for an afternoon show on the weekend. Audio was clear and the screen, while small, was a really good quality. Over all worth it and would definitely go back.

The Price is Right. If you get a group of nine or ten you get a better deal. The seats were comfortable. The screen and sound was good. The popcorn however was not that great as it was extremely salty and not great quality. The staff allowed us to exchange slushies instead of pop at no extra charge which was awesome.

This place is usually a great alternative to going to the busier movie theatres, great prices, cheaper snacks, less busy; however when we went yesterday it was such an awful experience. The lobby was littered with garbage and looked in need of a good clean, and when we went into the theatre to sit for our movie it smelt very strongly of urine or mold. It was SO strong and SO rancid. I don’t know if it was the clientele that was inside or the building itself but regardless we had to pull our shirts over our noses to actually breathe without gagging. If it was the building, it is in some serious need of new carpets or seats. I mean I guess you can’t expect too much for a $4.75 movie, but wow, I’d rather spent the extra money and go somewhere clean and fresh.

on Tuesday afternoon 3 75 each great deal but then by the time you add popcorn and drink $28 but it would of been much more at other theatres. the seats are the cloth kind not the leather recliners we have all gotten use to but cant expect that for the price I do like to go here every once in a while to support small local popcorn was good and not cheap on butter girls were very nice I'll take the little guy again that pokemon movie was pretty hard to sit through though

I was amazed that I got charged just over $23 for 3 $4 movie tickets and one large popcorn/apple juice combo. There must have been a mistake there of probably $5 too much at least. I was late for the movie and didn't have time to figure it out til later. Anyways the ladies were friendly enough but I couldn't hear the movie very well. We were in the back row of theatre 3 watching Rocketman. Also the seats are quite uncomfortable and not very wide (I am average width lol). Can't complain about a $4 movie price though.

Family movie experience for a third of the price of regular theatres? Why not!?! Obviously it's a cheaper, older theatre with seats that aren't quite as plush as the newer theatres. But it's clean, comfortable enough, and I'd rather take my kids here and spend $13 watching Wreck-it Ralph than almost $40 at Cineplex. Might not be the place to watch the latest Avengers epic, but for everything else it's great.

Brought my daughter there for her first movie earlier this week, the manager was very kind and polite. She was gifted a kids popcorn and drink when we entered the concession area. We left early, as the screen size was on overload for her, and she wanted to go home. The manager once again was very accommodating and offered to turn it down a little for her. When she said she still wanted to go home, he gave her a t-shirt present with a bracelet and was very kind. Great place, $2.50 Tuesdays, I'll be back!

I love this little theatre, $2.50 on Tuesdays and showing movies during the pandemic with social distancing in place. Just watched Invisible Man and was happy I got to see a 2020 movie this year in the theaters as it's original theatrical run was cut short before I got to see it. I don't usually by food or candy at the theater but when I do it's to support the little theaters like this that are still around and have great prices so everyone can have a chance to see a movie without paying $13 plus for a ticket.

Yes, it is an older theater and a little dated. Yes, you don`t see the initial opening premiere of the movie.However, those are cosmetic. The bottom line is once you are occupied by the movie, the popcorn is the same, the water/pop is the same and the best part. It`s a lot cheaper movie experience.

It's a good theatre. It shows movies in second-run format. It's one of the few theatres in Greater Vancouver in second-run. Good place for people to go and for a good price.

This place hands down has the best deal to see a movie. The film's they play are still relatively new and you only have to wait a few weeks for new releases to be played. Tuesdays it's only $3.75 a ticket. Sure this cinema isn't the fanciest around, but the cost is very reasonable and the quality of the sound/film is just as good as ciniplex. Would definitely reccomend going here the next time you want to catch a movie.

I had to cover my nose the whole time bc it smelled so bad. So please either wash the carpets and seats or change them all ASAP. Other than that I would say this place is pretty good !
