Manager was very helpful tonight. Didn't catch his name but he had white hair. We missed our movie in Langley because there was a massive line up for the Covid passport. We drove back to meadowridge to catch a later showing and walked right in and the management honoured our tickets for the other showing.

Disappointed . I went to see a matinee on thursday. Was told power was out and they weren't sure when they would be showing a movie. No other businesses in Meadowtown Centre appeared to be without power ie. Lights were on and businesses were open.

This is the best cinema I’ve ever been to. I usually go with my family sometimes on Saturday to watch a kid movie, and it’s pretty cheap to be honest! It’s 2$ on Saturday at 11AM. And all the movies are interesting to watch. I would recommend going to this cinema. Love it!

The staff that was there was great but it's very hard to ignore Cineplex raising prices on the already over priced concession items. A small popcorn with extra butter came to $8.49 ($0.99 for butter and another $0.99 for extra butter) and I don't think using my scene card got me a discount like it used to.

Today, the manager refused to put an additional cashier on duty to sell movie tickets. Management seems determined to make the ticket purchase lineup so long that people who initially don't want to use the ticket purchase machines will give up waiting for a human agent and use a machine instead.

I went to see Ford vs, Ferrari in theatre #9 and the volume was so loud that I left after 20 minutes of commercials and twenty minutes of the movie. The cashier said they have received lots of complaints on the same issue. They couldn't give me a refund as 30 minutes had elapsed since the start time but the manager gave me a voucher for a free movie.

Me and my (recently divorced) life partner have been coming to this cinema nearly every week, sometimes even 2 or 3 times a week to watch movies, and the new AVX theatre is pretty dang nifty, I try to always watch movies there, I even prefer it to the IMAX theatre in Langley. I find it slightly unsettling however that I have visited this theatre so many times and not a single employee has ever mentioned how often they see us. I'm not sure if no one there has ever noticed but I've been here 100s of times, you think someone would say "Boy you sure do see a lot of movies" but no, nothing. One kid who works here looked like he was about 12 when he started, now he looks like an adult. I literally witnessed this boy grow into a man and no one ever mentioned or saud anything about how often I watch movies. Anyways I love the theatre here, no complaints from me.

The seats we had were fixed wth duct tape, so a little uncomfortable. The movie started with the screen flashing with the 3D glasses on. Gave me a headache to start the movie. They did fix it eventually. We normally have a great experience at this theater. I think this was just a one off incident.

This theater is decent sized and spacious. Cleaning seems to be adequate as well. The 4DX experience, where the seats vibrate and shake was pretty cool at first. However, soon after you find yourself annoyed and distracted by it. There are three settings for intensity. I didn't care for any of them. I will save the money and opt for a regular viewing experience next time. Regardless, a five star review is still deserved.

Seemed like your regular movie theater. The movie was good, the seats were comfortable even for me who is on the curvy side. However the theater (5) we went into there was only one exit and entrance so it was a bit of a hassle to get to the far side on top. Plus they ran out of large bags for popcorn. Other than that staff was good.

My experience at this cinema was not pleasant as the volume was very very loud to the point of annoyance. The main show was repeadedly being promised to begin after 15-20 minutes of avertising and trailers for other shows, the movie was still not showing. I finally walked out asking for a refund which was denied because I had lost/thrown away my reciept. I had paid by debit which could have been easily retrieved. I would not recommend this cinema!!!!!

The Cineplex is exactly what to expect from a movie theatre. The seats were comfortable with good sightlines. The snacks overpriced. The staff friendly but woefully mismanaged. It wasn't bad. Good thing the movie was good.

If you are tired of packed movie theaters in Surrey or Langley, go here. Usually less crowded but it's not close as Colossus. Staff are really on point with clean up, but they don't play Bollywood movies as this area is a different demographic. Nice vaulted seats.

Awful theatre pricing overall, as per the norm. The arcade still takes the coins and the machines still eat them. Arcade card BS isn't much better anyway. They simply could take better care of their arcade equipment, which much of was broken, and give better value overall. Alas the monolithic corporation does not, and nor do they pretend to care. Great theatre. Smaller than Silvercity, but has all the good movies, and tickets are cheaper than the Silvercity in Coquitlam. For example, UltraAVX is only 13.75, and you get to pick your seats when you purchase! Theatre was tidy and easy to navigate. Washrooms were pretty well kept, too.

This Cineplex has the worst movie times at any theater in the history of theaters. If you want to see a movie after 7pm forget it they never have late shows. You want to see a daytime show during the week forget it. If you are not wanting to see a movie that starts between 330 and 715 this theater isn't even open you must go to Langley. The only reason they are keeping it open is so that Landmark won't move into the location and compete with the Langley location.

I really appreciate that they offer stars and strollers, they were the only theatre that had Frozen 2 playing for stars and strollers and it was busy. Reason they lost a star from me is because they seemed to be short staffed.. no one working ticket sales only self service option, no one ripping tickets, line up for popcorn was very long as they were also the ones who were checking and ripping tickets.

I thought under the COVID restriction the seating system won't allow people to choose a seat next to someone's spot? We were the first one to reserve our seats (i.e. all seats were available), so that person who sat right next to me must pick that seat after us. How come he was able to pick that seat? I don't feel comfortable sitting right next to someone else beside my own family without a mask on???? even you don't need to wear it while sitting at your spot.

The thing that I like most about Meadowtown is It'a is 10 minutes from home but in comparison to Park Royal or any of the newer theaters it has cramped seating, no VIP & the staff turnover in this theater means the lines at the concession always move slowly

I love this theater. It's a bit smaller than some of the other ones around the area, but the screens are still large and the sound systems are loud and clear, without blowing out your eardrums during action scenes. The crowds that come here are also a lot more respectful than the ones who go to other theaters around. I've never once been annoyed with someone for talking or making noise. This is the place you wanna go to if you truly enjoy the movie going experience.

The prices are to be expected of a movie theatre but it still has great deals (cheaper Tuesdays, scene points/rewards, combo deals, etc). I find that almost every time I'm in there I see minimal mess (we've all spilled a LITTLE popcorn at some point) the bathrooms are always clean and the arcade machines are a fun way to pass the time before seeing a movie.

I love this cinema cause is big city feel but people is friendly, approachable and kind. Lots of parking, lots of wheelchair friendly spots. I love their pull pork nachos!!! This is probably the best Cineplex in lower mainland.

This is a fairly local theatre for me and I am glad it has lots of selection. We bought the holiday bundle for Cineplex and now are trying to get the coupons used up! Last year we were not even close to using them all! Love that you have a decent variety of food, premium seats, 3D choices and more!

Went to see bad boys 3 recently and this theater looks outdated and the personel was behind cleaning the theather room. I do like that this place usually is not crowded so if you dont like to wait in lines, this is for you.

Great seats; but sound is VERY loud; except when it's Mother/Stroller day, or whatever they call it, you can barely hear anything. Better monitoring of sound would make the movies much more enjoyable.

Worst Experience Ever at a Theater. Went to see Downtown Abby. Staff let us in 5 min. before the movie started with NO lights on. The movie stopped in the middle. When they started it again, they left the side lights on. The volume was too loud. Went to the washroom after the movie, NO toilet paper. Where was management?

My husband a day I came to the theatre for the first time in a year. The show was to begin at 1pm and we arrived approximately 12;30. The main doors were locked and still not open at 12:40. The ad said the doors would be open one half hour before showtime. You do the math. What's up Cineplex. Should the doors be open now...I think so.

We bought VIP tickets as we regularly do. The movie projection our movie was broken/wrong. The 3D was off for some reason and things were overlapping and blurry at points. When we complained to the manager she argued for 10 minutes and gave us attitude, refused to give us a refund. Terrible management.

A bit less expensive than some Cineplex locations. Often the audiences are quite small, which is nice. But for horror or action movies, some audience members seem unaware that they are using a shared space. So they are too loud. Probably if I stood up, faced them, and acted out the movie Mother! then they would leave and ask for a refund.

They only have 1 cashier the rest till like other locations gone NOT ONLY TAKES JOBS AWAY BUT no 1 was using the Self serve tills so line up was huge so we missed first 30 minutes of my movie because had free movie voucher so couldn't use self serve till and girl was SO SLOW!!! Love the social distancing measures they have in place. Made me feel much more comfortable. My only complaint is that they really need to upgrade to the recliners for D-box. The current seats are pretty uncomfortable and they cost the same as D box with the recliners in Surrey. I go to this location based on convenience, but would love to see the upgrade happen.

Most disgusting theatre i have ever been in lower mainland (Aud 9 specifically) Seats were so dirty so make sure you turn on a phone light to look before you sit on them. I saw bugs on so many seats. It was so gross plus popcorns or other gross stains. Looked like cup holders were never cleaned. So much for safety protocols in place when there is not even regular sanitation done. Stay safe out there people !! On the upper hand staff was nice and friendly.

Concession prices are horrible, over $20 for what amounts to popcorn and pop for 2 and a small bag of select candy to share.The lineups for both tickets (weekends) and food are ridiculous. They never seem to have enough staff on to cover and in my experience they have 1 speed. Slow.
