Watched Captain Marvel, great movie. Nice theater, good prices on concessions. Great surround sound. Doesn't have the hooptie reclining seats like some of the other theatres do, but still pretty comfy. All in all, great theater.

My little sister (16) and I (18) went to go see Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard and the man at the concessions counter made her and I extremely uncomfortable. He stared at her (keep in mind she is a MINOR) the entire time very intently. He seemed to be in his early 20s. After the screen was still black about 10 minutes after start time I went out to look for an associate to help and this man was on his phone while the female associate was working and doing everything while he sat on his phone. The lady was very nice and sweet but he was super aloof and lazy.

Need more lights in the hallways, it is kinda dark and difficult to see in some areas. Arm rests need to be cleaned - the entire chair really would benefit from it but the arm rests should not be sticky. Very friendly staff and snacks were fresh.

Fairly empty. Only a few staff. You have to buy tickets at the concession stand. Then when the previews and film started, there was no picture only sound, and no projectionist upstairs watching for it. They were unaware of the problem until I told them.

Nothing amazing. My biggest issue with this theater is they like to occupy their minimal theater space with Christian movies that haven't been in any other theaters in weeks. This keeps movies that are worth seeing out of their theater

Clean, popcorn and coke is expensive as it is in all movie theaters. They have a good selection of movies and an online site where you can buy your tickets, walk in, get the scanned (print or in your phone) and go right into the movie hall ... No line. Online also offers coupons for cheaper popcorn, coke.

We go here a lot and like this small theater. The reason I am giving one star is in the hopes that someone in management there sees this, because of our experience tonight. I tried to find a number to call to talk a manager. An employee there came into our movie- 10 Cloverfield Lane- and stood up by the screen with his flare-looking flashlight, standing at attention, right when someone was getting shot on screen. It was quite disturbing. Not only did we all miss what was happening on screen, but due to events at other movie theaters and in the world, it scared us to think what was going on. I told him so after the movie and he said he just wanted to go in to see everyone scream. He came in twice, walking up and down the aisles. I checked my iPhone news to mAke sure there was no violence going on or something and told him afterwards his coming in caused me to do that - he just laughed. I think this needs to be dealt with so it doesn't happen again.

I was able to buy tickets online and have the barcode scanned when I arrived to pick them up. We were disappointed that there wasn't a matinee price, and that we had to pay full price for a 1:00 show. The attendants were friendly but the theater seemed under staffed. The gentleman at the concessions was also having to take tickets. We weren't able to bring in outside food (places seem 50/50 about allowing that anyway). The theater was clean and the picture and sound quality were good. The actual seats could probably be updated as they were showing their age and felt kind of lumpy. We had driven to Dawsonville to catch a movie not playing closer to home. I think if the owners did a little modernization they could bring in more guests.

Nice clean theater. A little outdated inside... Belongs to Regal, so you can use your reward card. Could use upgraded projectors. You can see the heat on the screen from the projector when the screen is white or light colored object on the screen.

My family was recently on vacation in North Georgia and needed a movie theater for a rainy day. We chose this one after reading reviews that praised its cleanliness. They were not exaggerating. Not only was the place extremely clean, but also the staff members were exceptionally kind and helpful. If you want to go to a movie, I cannot imagine a better place.

Staff is friendly and prices are not surprising. There is an arcade wall agreement l adjacent to the concessions, a party floor above for children and an enclosed party room on the first floor. I have nothing to complain to about, but nothing that blows me away either.

It's a nice place, clean, friendly staff. We took our children to see Angry Bird's 2 and it was a blast. Just beware, if you plan to purchase any of their snacks/drinks, make sure you bring an extra $50!! At least the large popcorn has free refills. Also, I suggest going during the day, as it's not too crowded.

On Feb 20, 2020 I took my four (4) small grandchildren to see Sonic the Hedgehog for a 1:00pm showing. After spending $91.18 for admission and snacks (all overpriced), we had to endure the agony of twenty-two (22) minutes of commercials and coming attractions, one of which was for a movie in 2021 - a year away. Again, 22 minutes with 4 small children. This is obnoxious and inconsiderate. Never again here!

They already sold out of Hot Dogs for a 6:50 pm movie on a Saturday night. That's disappointing! The cheese for the Nachos were cold. You would think that by now they would have improved on the quality of the type of cheese that they use. The container for the Nachos is flimsy. I haven't been to the movies since the Pandemic started and this theater is disappointing.

Such a nice cinema! Very clean and hardly anyone there. It seems people are reluctant to get back out to the theatre. Why? There is plenty of room! You can wear your mask but they don't require it. The restrooms were sparkling clean. The staff is so friendly and even though they are young they are not glued to their phones! Which these days is HIGH standards, am I right?? My husband and I have a great time each time we come. And Kani House across the street is a great Japanese restaurant with fresh sushi and delicious hibachi if you want to make it a dinner date :) (Their ginger house salad dressing is AMAZING and you can buy it to take home too!) So GO SEE A MOVIE and support your local theatre! Let's get back to living already.

Saw sonic tonight it was so good besides the one crying kid. loved it at the end with the girls in the back row screaming and cheering and applauding during the credits and post credit scene where a certain character showed made it feel like an anime convention. that is a good thing it makes the experience more enjoyable and personal. cant wait for the second sonic movie! hope the cheering sectio returns too

The Dawsonville Regal is the best managed theatre in North Georgia. Sabrina and Marshall are the managers and they hire a staff that seems to care about its customers. The facility is always clean and the Popcorn is always hot n fresh ..flavored good...unlike AMC that has no taste what so ever. If you have that Regal points card.. you save more on certain days on movie tix and snack bar items. Keep up the good work Sabrina and Marshall...and those two cute snack bar girls.

I went into the theater to ask a question about movie ending times for Jason Bourne. There was a young man in a coat and tie that told me in a Curt tone that they were closed and to look at the sign outside. I don't get upset easily but I have to admit that this you man's attitude almost made me give him a "dressing down". In front of his staff. I told him I needed the ending times for the film and that answer is not on the billboard w/ the movies and time. Please address staff that customers pay their checks and we should be treated with respect. I am so disappointed...

Staff is friendly, but it is expensive to see a movie here, especially if you get anything from concession stand.. a senior admission was 8.01, a medium popcorn and medium drink was $14.75, so a movie was $22.76 now if I had been with a date, now we are way over $30.00, and the popcorn and drinks do not cost any more to make than they do at places where you can purchase elsewhere at much lower prices. They are charging very exorbitant prices

Considering this is the only movie theater around dahlonega without traveling to gainesville its an okay theater. Quite a few times weve experienced movies being messed up like audio not on track, lights being on, delay in start time. But with these faults the management is typically understanding and will give you free movie vouchers if youre unsatisfied. Their hot dogs are pretty damn good too.

Nice clean movie theater, the preferred theater in the area I love to visit! (I recommend against visiting Movies 400 located between exit 14 and 15). Not usually crowded and the seats are generally clean. This location usually has the latest and greatest movies. 3D viewings are available, but may be slightly more expensive. Not sure on IMAX. Has a small arcade for the kiddies, multiple bathrooms for quick access during a movie, and relatively quick concession stand services. The prices are usually fair, and the movie theater is generally open late.

We enjoy this theater and drive several miles to patronize it. However, last night was not their best effort. There was only one young man in the ticket booth with a huge line of folks waiting to get tickets. It must be difficult for management to predict when they need more help in certain areas but there should be a plan in place to adjust personnel duties. It seems obvious that to have one ticket seller and three or four employees in the concession area an adjustment would be needed. Lastly, we have stopped buying from their concessions as the popcorn and drinks have just become greedily expensive.

Came here for a 7:30pm movie on a Monday night. It was fantastic there was no line at the ticket counter & a total of 7 us of us in the theater. The A/C was just right it wasn't too cold, and their seating is very comfortable. Each row is very roomy you don't feel like you're right on top of the next row, So if someone happened to be sitting in front of you there was plenty of room and you could easily see over their head. We did not get anything to eat or drink but we did visit the bathrooms and they were very clean and there were plenty of stalls

Dawson 10 Cinemas is a very nice location to catch a movie if you’re in the area. The theaters are kept clean. Seating is very comfortable. Staff has always been very helpful and friendly in all the interactions that I’ve had with them. The theater is part of the Regal chain if you happen to be a member of their rewards program.

I payed 40 dollars in tickets to a 9:30 show. Went outside to smoke a cig at 10 was locked out, had to bang for five mins till I got a young woman's attention. She seemed pretty annoyed that she had to come let me bk in. I bought a large popcorn for 10 dollars and went to get my free refill as advertised at 11 and was told everything is cleaned up rt after everyone is seated into the last shows of the night. So unpleased...

This theater is so short handed, it's a shame. You buy your tickets and snacks at the concession stand inside. There were 4 lines with more than 15 people in each line! The trash was overflowing and there was trash in the theater. I love this location and the new Ray's Signature Grill close by. The location is really growing. I hope they put some more money into the theater!

No frills theater is typically not too busy (I am a Regal club member). Here's one item to improve as it happens 75% of the time I visit. . . . if there are 3+ guests standing in line at the snack bar and you have 3-4+ people working the snack bar, don't have 1 line open while the other 3+ other employees stacking cups, standing in the corner, or talking to each other. The customer needs to come FIRST . . . make them the priority and move them through the line quickly as many of us wish to get to the movie vs. standing in line for 10+ minutes. This is one simple area to address and fix quickly.

Recently watched a movie and during the climax the power went off for a split second. After 20 minutes of a black screen the movie resumed. My movie experience was lessened but upon exiting the theatre I was greeted by a smiling employee who bestowed me with free movie tickets and refunded my concession purchases. The power outage was no fault of the theatre but they went above and beyond to make up for my lost time. I will continue to be an avid customer of this wonderful theatre! Special thanks to the management and staff!

Good cinema that has been around awhile. Clean with nice seats! A bit expensive. Not crowded on a weekday showing.

The workers were very helpful for what needed, concessions, directions, getting refills . When it was time for the movie to start nothing, all the commercials played the a blank screen. Someone had to go out to ask an attendant, it turns out they knew about that issue (you find the same mentioned in another review) so 10 minutes later the previews start, then the movie. A few minutes into the movie it was obvious that something about the picture was off , like it was a little out of focus but not quite. It turns out it's that the color beams were out of alignment on the projector. Well, it turns out they were aware of that also, but couldn't do anything about it and say that the projector was definitely in focus but they were sorry. (You can find another review about this issue ) We were in theater #3 , if they knew about this , and I had been informed when we purchased tickets I would have declined. By the end of the movie I had a headache and it got worse with the credits. The movie can be watched but this is an issue they've known about and should have rectified. Or at least tell customers upfront so they can decide, or offer a discount for that theater. I don't know if this problem exists on any of the other screens. Its a nice place except for that .

This place was pretty good. I was visiting from out of town and was impressed. The theater was clean and everything went great. Would definitely recommend.

Popcorn was stale/cold, NOTHING like paying $10 for popcorn and its old and the employee knows it!! theater was trashed , hadn't been cleaned! Someone from prior movie had obviously thrown up and it never got cleaned up. GREAT COVID PRACTICES!! drink/popcorn containers everywhere, employees/staff NOT working , just standing around in a circle , in the way

The staff is super friendly and helpful, concerned about customer welfare. My wife has dementia. Somehow i missed her when she came out of the restroom and went into the wrong auditorium. The manager and staff helped me search every nook and cranny. Finally, the manager went through the security camera tapes and recognized her from her DL picture which I had shown him. It was an hour of panic for me, but we found her happily watching another movie!

Worst experience I've ever had. It took 20 minutes for us to get through the line to just get a drink and small popcorn and there was barely anyone in front of us. The level of incompetence was unbearable behind the snack counter. It was very unorganized as well. When we got into the theater the sound wasn't working. When the movie started the lights stayed on the whole time. (It was a 3-D movie so that sucked) when I went out to tell someone that the lights were on they laughed and said they were working on it.... Let's just say the lights stayed on the whole time. Everyone in the theater was mad about the situation but no one that worked there seemed to care. When we left there wasn't a person that worked there to be found. I'd give less than one star but that's not an option.

Someone needs badly to revise the ticket pricing at this theater. The price for one ticket is $8.01 & two is $16.02, so everyone in line must wait on every patron to be counted out either .99 or 1.98 in loose change. It is frustrating when there are 10-15 people in line to but tickets and is a huge delay always for no reason. Surely one penny per ticket could be lowered on a ticket without damaging the profits. They say this is dictated by management. Does management ever consider how poor this is?
