This is a really good theater. The prices aren't too high, even on snacks. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that there always seems to be something out of order in the bathroom. Its never the whole bathroom, but the recurring issues with one or two toilets/urinals/sinks every visit is noticable. That being said, I prefer this theater over others in the area. Its clean, the staff is friendly and efficient, and its a really good location with lots of parking.

The Movie Theater's Are Still Alive! This Movie theater is absolutely awesome! I've been going to Bay City's Movie theater since I can remember. It always has a great environment, and nice people. Very Family Friendly! The screens are always being updated my favorites are the big ones for obvious reasons. The best part is the ticket prices! They are one of the cheapest movie theaters around! Plus they have a great reward system I recommend! This is a place I'd love to work, because they seem like a family and that makes the experience so much more! Trust me when I say this if you're going to a movie choose Bay City 10!

Bought tickets for Halloween reserved seats for 8 of us and when we walked into the theater people were in our seats. We asked staff to help us out and they shrugged there shoulders and pretty much said owell. We had to sit in very front row. :(

This place is UNDERSTAFFED always! You wait in line every time for tickets, for food. Their will be four workers, and only one will be waiting on people. I dont think the manger, knows how to managet this place at all. She seems to understaff, so she gets a bonus. I would highly recommend going to the Saginaw location. As they always, are well staffed, much more friendly. And you will not miss part of your movie here. As you do in Bay City waiting in line for popcorn and pop.

Would recommend it to anyone moving to Bay City or anyone who hasn't been there. It is inside the mall, so the department stores are great too.

Pretty decent theater; living up north you don’t have many options! I miss the large reclining seats I’d grown accustomed to in Metro Detroit like Emagine, but everyone was friendly and the place was clean. Concessions and tickets were average prices.

Always clean in the lobby and in the theaters. Crew polices immediately following a showing, picking up after those who were brought up in a dumpster. Dropped popcorn is cleaned up and trash is removed. Restrooms are cleaned regularly. Personnel are mindful of appearances and friendly and helpful. It is a long way from parking to the furthest theater but there are benches available once inside.

My husband and I have been coming here for our date nights as a tradition, for years and then years before we even met! It's been here since I was born maybe even before that so 29 plus years! Awesome service and the GDX experience is amazing we always love going to the shows in those special theater sections! Friendly staff and basically a landmark for Bay City as it's very special to us. Very nice stadium seating. The screens are awesome, they have 2 extra big screens that cost more to see a movie on. But the prices here are not bad. The sound system here as well is amazing. Saw Avatar here and you literally felt like you were in the movie. Apart from seeing a movie at the IMAX this theater is one of my favorites. They even have the viewing of a new movie a day ahead of time. I know some theaters do this and this is one of them. The parking lot is hugh so you never have to worry about finding somewhere to park. They even have the 3D movie selection if that is what you are in to. The theater is located in the Bay City mall, so you can get you tickets and browse the mall if need be.

Also, if you order your ticket online, then the ticket taker should have a scanner. Why should I wait in line to get a ticket when it on my phone and paid already. Thx.

This is an excellent theatre complex with 10 screens. The audio/video quality is exceptional. There is handicapped seating available, too. The staff is very friendly and professional. The concession area is well-stocked and offers free refills on beverages. One of the best features must be the reserved seating. You can pick and choose your seats on a display at the time of ticket sale. One downside... the theatre carpets need to be cleaned more often.

The surrounding mall is fairly empty, there are some places to eat and shop around however. The line to get tickets was not too long and went by very quickly. The grounds of the area was cleaned up very nicely and the staff was working hard to handle the busy Friday night crowd. The theater itself was roomy with plenty of leg space available. It was clean and the temperature was comfortable all throughout the movie. Pleasant experience overall.

Good popcorn, amazing big screens, and its design is pretty great. This is one of the places I feel pretty excited going to when I go to the mall. I would usually go to this theater 3 to 4 times a month. Can't wait to see its next movies it'll provide in the future and my #1 theater to go to, next to the Saginaw 10.

The price of a bottle of water is ridiculous 3.50 for a 20 oz bottle. It almost 20.00 dollars for two people to see a movie that is not including popcorn or drinks if yoy add that in its another almost 20.00 dollars. So if you want to see a movie plan to have close to 50.00 dollars for two people.

Prices are fair and the staff is always helpful. A few times the staff has been less than professional but teenagers can be that way. They keep the place clean and it isn't as crowded as Birch Run. It's a 30 min. Drive for us but well worth it

It's a good theater. Two GDX options. Serve a plethora of snacks, beer, icees and candy. It really is a pretty good theater but it was so much better before they remodeled the lobby and took out the air hockey machines; the theater(screens) remodel was an improvement though. There have also been circumstances where big name movies weren't offered or they were only there for like a week. If I didn't know it before they mucked it up it would be 4 stars but I have something to compare it to. In summary though it is a good theater.

Great experience! Loved it! But I saw 2 things in need of great improvement. Cost. For 3 tickets cost $31! Not great. And they kill you again for beverages and snacks. Medium popcorn and 3 large drinks was$29. That's$60 for a family of 3! Horrible! Cleanliness. Popcorn pieces litter the floor and I watched the worker cleaning drag her regular dust pan across the floor. This obviously did very little. But I am still giving them a 4.

Good place to go see a movie on the weekend or for a date. A big plus for serving alcohol, i love the fact you can have a beer and watch a movie. Watch out thought; for some reason the beer in the cup will shock your mouth. The only con is that they dont IMAX, wish i could see some of my favorite movies in IMAX.

Your standard movie theater chain in an older mall experience. However, looks can be deceiving as this theater seems to have recently updated its interior with clean, plush, slightly-reclinable seats. I did notice a lot of projection booth light leakage that was extremely obvious during darker scenes. Concessions are overpriced, as expected. It's probably worth your time to sign up for the Goodrich Theater loyalty program since its rewards are better than average.

We caught a late matinee on a Friday afternoon and the theatre was busy. The staff was very friendly and the movie price, $7.25, is hard to beat. Except for the area around the popcorn machine, the entire facility was very clean, including the bathroom. The theatre seats were comfortable and the overall viewing experience was enjoyable.

Great food as always.. I was there picking up a take out order.. there were six other customers there doing the same.. the time was Thursday around 4:30 PM.. the cashier was also taking orders over the phone, getting orders from the back to include preparing tubes of mashed potatoes for orders.. in my opinion there she should of had some help with servicing the customer.. she didn't look at all bother.. she pushed through it.. and the customers there took it all in stride However there will be a time that there will be a customer that will not like waiting and will in turn give your workers a hard time.. please provide more help up front when needed.. and avoid those types.

Movie was great but line was terrible people getting food and tickets why didn’t they have separate line for each. And the girl that we bought tickets from mind there was four of us she couldn’t of been that obtuse to see that we all wanted food we didn’t stand in the same line after purchasing tickets to stand and watch her then after she finally waited on other people while again we are standing there we finally got her attention again and she gave us a weird look and had a attitude I think Alyssa needs another job that doesn’t require waiting on the public

Being a lifetime fan of cinema, it is disappointing that the digital revolution has resulted in such a poor experience going out to watch films at the theatre. Digital projection is way way, way less bright as compared to film projection and the dimmer pictures are even more noticeable on the GDX displays where the screen is curved. 10 years ago before digital and GDX, going to the movies provided an experience so lifelike, clear and bright that you often felt you were actually inside the movie. An optical illusion, of course but still an incredible experience it was to enjoy. With digital, there are no more audible booms and clunks or flickers heard or seen as splices in the film fed through the projector, but even with those distractions the experience of film projection was infinitely better than the dimly lit digital displays of today. The experience I have watching movies at home on my aging but still very bright 70” plasma TV, with stereo surround beats the dimly lit digital GDX experience hands down. The cost of buying tickets isn't even a factor. The digital GDX experience just isn't good enough to watch films on, even if the cost of admission was offered for free.

I generally have good experiences with gqt, but my most recent visit wasn't so pleasant. I took my wife and daughters to see frozen 2 the Tuesday after it came out. I'm assuming they had call in(s) because there was only two people working there to do concessions and tickers... I arrived 20 minutes before start time and I still missed some of the beginning of the movie because tickers/concessions took so long; and no there wasn't that many customers lined up for either lines. I guess a combination of call in(s) and one of the theatres having technical difficulties really set the two worker up for failure. Lastly, the one customer in front of me had to order practically over half of the food menu which slowed things down even more. I don't blame the workers because it was easy to see they were trying their best to keep up. I didn't say anything to them since it wasn't there fault, but what's annoying was the customers were offered no explanation as to the slow service and we weren't even offered any type of incentive for the inconveniences. I sure hope they don't normally staff only two people on Tuesdays...

Ordered tickets on line thinking I had reserved the upper row, upon trying to sit down found that our tickets were actually in the first row. Couldn't exchange tickets even though I had it on my phone . GDX needs to revamp the image for seat selection to show screen, and back walls as well as exits. Might eliminate confusion and embarrassment of its customers.

Awesome theater! My husband and I go here atleast once a week. Sometimes twice! Nice place to go and spend time together and out of the house! Prices are pretty well. Cheaper than going to the bar, and more enjoyable in my opinion. Plus I can go still when I have to work the next morning! ;) props to the owners. Went to see the new Matrix and Spiderman. Lots of good memories in the theater when I was a kid. Had some issue with sound on the Matrix and the manager took care of things right away. Some movies you just have to see on the big screen.

I have been here before and always was ok. This visit the place looked terrible. There was popcorn all over the lobby the carpet down the aisle. The bathroom was messy. No room in the trash bins and the paper towels were spilling over all over the floor. I have never been to such a messy cinema.

My family and I enjoy this theater because its clean and the staff take time to go the extra mile and improve your experience. There are games in the lobby to play while you wait as well as additional seating. However the concession stand is a little pricy especially when you have have young children.

Their seats are really out of date and very uncomfortable. They need to think about upgrading to some reclining seats that are way more comfy. That's the only real flaw, they had good sound and picture and the staff was friendly.
