We frequent Cineplex Odeon Westmount as we enjoy the movie experience here more than at Masonville Mall. Westmount is significantly less expensive for regular movies. We can also order a drink while watching a movie in the VIP section. Two thumbs up!

This theater has the latest generation digital projection technology, an AVX screen with I sane sounds, 3 VIP screens and a small arcade section. I take away half a star because in one of the theaters, a whole row has part of the image projected on it and they say it's not fixable. I take away half a star because there's an upstairs seating area that they closed down for no reason.

A beautiful clean and bright foyer with attendants ready to serve. Popcorn was hot and fresh. Lots of room in the theatre with reclining seats and plenty of legroom. I highly recommend this theater.

Easily the worst Cineplex VIP theatre I've ever been to. The seats are nowhere near the size or quality of other VIP theatres across Canada, and compare especially poorly to Landmark, which has MUCH more reasonably tickets. Drinks and food are okay, but very over-priced and there's nowhere to put your food in the VIP section because they don't have the big chairs with the sliding desks like they're supposed to. Many more VIP-like options around town for much better prices if that's what you're looking for.

It was quiet (as in only 6 people) in the theatre. Easy parking. Only Kiosk open for payment, not able to pay with cash. As per usual, volume of the movie is WAY TOO LOUD! They must own the hearing aid manufacturers! Seat was comfy and reclined I only go to a movie if it is well worth spending. It is a very expensive for what you get.

Went to see the movie IT.. was late show.. Kids in the theater kept talking and ruined the movie for everyone in there.. could not find any staff at the time to inform.. pay over $50 for 2 tickets popcorn drinks and whatnot and had to listen to them jumping around on seats and talking out loud.. multiple people also asked them to keep it down to no avail.. staff should always be on hand to deal with this kind of stuff until the moment the theater is closed!

My go to theatre in London. Sure Landmark has the seats but I come for the sound and size of screen. Marvel movies in IMAX or AVX cannot be matched by Landmark, besides I get too comfortable and fall asleep in those recliners. Staff is nice, place is clean.

The movie I saw was Alita which was excellent. What made my movie-going experience not so nice was the dirty washrooms. It seemed like no one had clean them for days. Every toilet seat had urine sprinkled all over them. I won't be going back to this theater location.

Love the VIP cinema here. You have to be drinking age to enter. There is table service before the movie with decent meals, Starbucks coffee and the usual popcorn and concession snacks too. Dinner and a movie! All the seats are decent. Since the VIP cinemas are smaller, even the back row or side seats aren't too far from the screen and you always have a table beside you (each row has pairs of seats with a table between the next pair of seats). The front row(s) have fully reclining seats. I've never used them, so I can't say if it is a good experience or not. Personally, I'd be afraid of falling asleep and find it difficult to eat and drink in a fully reclined position! There are 3 VIP screens at this location, plus several regular screens too.

The seats are Lazy Boy comfortable with loads of leg room, it is easy to book tickets online and skip all the line ups and the prices are reasonable, especially on Tuesdays. The popcorn is pricey and not so tasty. I don’t usually tend to buy food when I go there though.

I went to see the Avengers Infinity War and asked for a caption/subtitle device to use for the movie as I'm hard of hearing and have trouble with hearing voices in films that have lots of music or explosions playing/happening in the background. So I got the subtitle device but had to go back for another because the one they gave me didn't work (didn't turn on)... The replacement one also didn't work and kept saying "No captions available for this clip"... Throughout the ENTIRE MOVIE. so I ended up going to the manager to complain because there were parts of the movie that I didn't understand... Thankfully they gave me 2 free movie passes for the inconvenience but that isn't the point. Now I'm afraid to go because what if it happens again? Time will apparently tell. I'm going to go see Deadpool 2

Although watching a movie on the big screen again was a fun experience and the recliner chairs are super comfy, the concession service was worse than terrible. For two people, we paid $60 for a movie night out! $30 for the tickets and $30 for 2 fries, 2 hot dogs and 1 drink. The drink was a regular (medium) fountain pop Coke and cost just under $6, which I find absolutely wild. They didn't have cheese for poutines, nor ketchup for the fries or hot dogs, only packets of mustard and we were offered 1 packet until I asked for more. They also didn't have pepper, only salt packets. And the worst part of all is the food was not fresh. Both my partner and I got sick. I have been sick for the past 2 days. It's sad, but the movies are not what they used to be and they charge outrageous and simply unreasonable prices.

They renovated the VIP theaters and moved the seats closer together while also making them smaller. Part of the allure of VIP and paying double for tickets is to have more space and not be elbow-to-elbow with a stranger. The other issue is the railing in front of every seat is too high so it obstructs the bottom of the screen when the chair is reclined. Someone at Cineplex wasn't thinking when they redesigned the VIP theaters. Likely won't be paying extra for "VIP" tickets anymore.

Had an odd experience at this location. A new girl took our order, and happened to mess up on the transaction and didn't get my order down right for the food preparer, which is totally fine. I've worked in the food industry for years and I totally get it. But when I pointed out the error to the guy who handed me my order, he immediately rolled his eyes and started arguing with me, saying I needed to pay for the extra charge -- I think he thought I was trying to pull a fast one on them. I immediately agreed to pay without pause to get it fixed and the cashier jumped in to apologize and say it was her bad. But then the server tried to convince me to just share with my date's food instead of getting the food that I ordered fixed, over and over again, despite my assertion that all I wanted was a little cheese on my hot dog and for my boyfriend to have what he ordered for himself. He was insistent but finally the girl rung me through. The guy wordlessly put on as little as he could get away with, handed me my order, and immediately and pointedly turned his back to me. It was a really weird hill for him to fight on and honestly kind of soured the mood for my date for a little bit until the movie started proper. At the food service job I work at our motto is to make it right. I don't understand why he felt that he had to argue with me over something so small. Girl was sweet, though.

We sooo missed going to the movies! Last time I was able catch a movie was when IT was released. (2018) This is my go-to movie place! I can use my SCENE points to redeem movies & canteen. Of course you have to wear your mask until you get into the theater. After your seated & with popcorn & candy & pop you can remove your mask during the movie to eat/drink. It was a lovely night out! We saw Jungle Cruise with The Rock, & well it "rocked"!

Electrical reclining seats standard, can't beat that, they were comfy and the theatres don't have a bunch of seats which I like too. All seats had a really good view off the screen and there was no worries of someone blocking your view of the screen. Sound system was really good and was overall good experience. Everything there is way overpriced for your popcorn and snacks though, I guess you expect that when you go to the movies. Overall we were happy with our visit and I think we will splurge and get the VIP theatre to see what that's like.

The seats are not the best . Servers in the VIP forgot half of what we ordered. Try to get a refund after the movie and no staff to be found for 20 mins. Then was told " tills are closed sorry". Will not be returning to this location.

I was just subjected to another advertisement on YouTube from this place; I've been forced to watch the first five seconds probably over a hundred times. Horrible music with this drum at the beginning... the whole thing is just horribly annoying. I know where you are, when I want to see a movie I'll go, and would have chosen this theatre to go to because it is nice but being bombarded with these adverts has prompted me to make a vow to never, ever go back again in protest. I'd rather watch a viagara commercial.

I usually have a great time at the Westmount theatre. My last visit was a little disappointing because the handrail in front of my seat was actually obstructing my view of the screen, which was never a problem in their VIP theatres. It may be just a problem in that specific theatre.

The VIP theater experience is WORLDS better than your average night out duo of popcorn and a show. VIP menu selection is 10x more intriguing and palatable than regular theater food: I ordered the salt+cracked pepper edamame & veggie samosas with mango chutney, and both were absolutely delicious paired with my pink vodka lemonade, YUM. I really appreciated the diversity in the menu, especially all the Vegetarian options! The theater was calm and quiet, which offered a more relaxing atmosphere, and the staff + service was extremely helpful and overall great! I'd also recommend stopping for some Yoyo's frozen yogurt before leaving, great price and fruit toppings were fresh.

It seems that Cineplex, in an effort to offset the recent increase in the min wage here in Ontario, has decided to rely more on the ticket kiosks and less on actual employees. This is a mistake because there seems to be more seniors heading to the movie theatres these days. Many of these folks are afraid of technology, and if they have a choice, they would go to a competitor that offers live ticket sales people.

We always go to the VIP theatre. Once you're spoiled by VIP it's hard to go to a regular theatre. Good seats, plenty of leg room and always clean. Being able to have an adult beverage and not have to listen to kids is a huge plus. The theatre and bar staff are always friendly.

Love the VIP cinema. Having the reclining chairs, reserved seats, and table service is one of the few perks of being an adult saddled with anxiety, depression and a low boil hatred of existing. The coconut shrimp were fried to golden brown with a sweet Thai dipping sauce. I washed this down with a margarita. The boneless chicken wings were indeed boneless. Honey garlic sauce I would give a 7/10. Nothing too crazy. The Korean BBQ sauce....not to be that guy...but.... It ain't kyochun, my chingu. Namaste.

Great theatre experience. This movie theatre offers a great experience for everyone. The seats are full leather recliners. They often have movies in 3D and AVX and IMAX. For those trying to get away for date night, this movie theatre also has a VIP section which is exclusively 18 + with a full bar and waiting staff to bring you food to your seat. If you're looking for any movie theatre to go to in London area this is the best movie theatre!

We were in auditorium 3, row E. It is nice the seats recline, they are comfortable. However I felt like I had to make a choice between seeing the whole screen or being reclined. The have a railing that will block the bottom of the screen if reclined. They also cut the credits short, sure it was a isolated technical issue. Decent venue for a movie.

My daughter and I went here to watch the movie detective Pikachu. We had never been to this theater before and we found this stuff to be incredibly helpful. They must have been able to tell by the look on my face that I really wasn't sure where to go or what to do and someone came over and mediately and helped us right away

Going out to see a movie for the first time in a couple years, reminded my of why I quit doing this. It was even worse this time with this new strict seating and people throwing stuff all over the place. For a 50$ movie for 2 people you should not feel like you want to leave before the movie starts. My experience was terrible. The staff wasn't helpful when asked something and acted as though it was a waste of time to offer any help. To top that, we went for a matinee and two children were so outrageous and the mother was so lacking in care about how her kids were effing the other paying patrons of the theater that the entire experience was ruined.

Nice clean theater...anything from regular seating up to recliner then up to vip where there is an alcohol service for limited number of drinks during the movie...cheap prices in the afternoons but best on Tuesdays...small arcade area in case you show up early for your movie use it to kill the time.

This is an awesome theatre which has switched over (most of the screens if not all?) to the reclining large leather seats - which are simply amazing!!!!!! It is very clean and has good quality sound. Go on cheap Tuesday for an even better deal. Cons: Very strange how it is tucked back behind a mall and not visible from the street... very strange. Also, VIP is a joke - especially since the seats in all of the theatres are just as good. You pay an extra 5 bucks for the right to buy over priced food and drink...... lame.

The price is what stops me from going to movie theaters now days. When you work min wage for a family of 5 is insane almost 50 dollars for just the tickets and then popcorn is way to over priced seriously popcorn and pop are next to nothing in cost wise and people are paying 20 dollars for one combo for them selves not even for the kids. It's just too much to break the bank for 1:30hr of sitting in the dark. Wait a couple of month's it will be on bluray buy the movie for 24.99 etc

My husband and I went to see the VIP for the first time. We will NOT be back. GO TO LANDMARK INSTEAD! First off, the seats are SO uncomfortable. Landmark is so much better for a cheaper price. If you are above 5"7, be prepared for your feet to dangle off the recliner. The movie screen had glare on the bottom left and right corners, which really took away from the cinematic experience. When you order your seats, the online ordering system makes it seem as two seats are coupled together, and that there is some space between seats for a more intimate experience. Not so, you are crammed in like sardines. I get that this is what most movie theaters are, but honest advertising on your website would help so people are not disappointed. The VIP is advertised as a "mature" experience, "leave the babysitter at home"... However, I was astounded at the amount of disruptive guests during the movie. Laughing so loud and inappropriately, flat out screaming at the screen and just being so loud and obnoxious. People were served and were ordering food after the movie began. It ruined the entire start of the movie, which was a horror movie so the bright light of the server's iPad was very disruptive. SO many people had their cell phones out for the entire movie. I get that cineplex cannot control other people, but judging by the other comments here, this is an ongoing problem at this location. If you are going to serve people alcohol, you have a responsibility to watch the patrons. Also, do not serve people once the movie has began. Perhaps there should be someone standing outside the theater to inform patrons that they have past the time to be served, so they can order outside the theater and then have someone bring it to you. Such a rip off just for "in-seat service".

Half and half boneless chicken wings (6 ea. with honey garlic sauce on the side & 6 ea. with medium BBQ on wings) 1 ea. Nachos with grilled chicken 3 ea. Crispy chicken tacos 1 ea. Blue cheese dipping for veggies Conerns: The fishbowl margarita seemed not to have any alcohol in it. Both the Nachos and tacos received cold. Boness chicken wings are warm only. Mentioned to server and she offered us 3 ea. free appetizer coupons on next visit but we declined offer. Very disappointed :(

Prices are incredibly too high. I'm happy that they have the scene program and the VIP section is a nice escape from children. The arcade area is a little small but the reclining chairs are awesome in the theatre. Outtakes had great poutine but the hot dog tasted like soap and had a yellow plastic piece of garbage in it.

We were in the VIP section, which is great for no other reason, but to have that experience once. Admittedly, the server said he forgot all about us and apologized sincerely. However, when the food came, of course it's dark (as it should be, it is a theater) and I didn't realize it was the wrong burger, until I bite into it, and it clearly is not what I ordered. There was no way to get it correced, unless I got up from my seat and try to balance my plate of food without a tray, miss part of the movie, only to be disrupted again, if they were going to bring me the correct burger. I opted to just eat what I got, so the other movie goers wouldn't be disrupted. So in short not worth it. It became a very expensive night for not the experience I was expecting

Absolutely fantastic experience. Got to watch Wonder Woman 1984 and though the showing was not IMAX certified, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Covid related precautions are also commendable. Theatre was neat and seems to be managed well. Would love to see more snack and beverage options though. Was kind of disappointed not to find coffee or tea on the menu, and bubble drinks do not appeal to me. I’d definitely visit again!

Horrible service on Nov 10 2021, I ordered food and had to wait almost 30 minutes. My fries were unsalted and half dry and my chicken bites weren't tossed in the sauce like I asked. There was at least 8 staff members behind the desk just standing there and talking, including management. I was also missing a couple of pieces of the bites, plus there was more bread then chicken. They have young high school kids working, half of them look like there half asleep. You would expect better service, specially when you're paying. I hope management sees this!.

Saw my first movie in the new seats at VIP Westmont and boy is it worth the extra money. Not only do the seats recline back but the foot rest comes up and you can adjust your headrest separately too. There is seat service for food and alcohol with digital payments accepted. The fact that there is a 19 year old age limit is very beneficial to your experience not having to worry about talkative children or teens. Also the row of seats in front and behind have extra space so you can't hear the other people if they are talking and extra tall people don't block your view. I will be using this VIP experience more often in the future and I suggest you give it a try as well.

Last time we went we found the seats to be better (heated at one point with better relclining ) not sure when they chabged the seats or if its varries in each VIP theatre ! UPDATE (1 star): Went to see a movie with my family in the VIP theatre today- there were four people in the top row of the theatre who talked, yelled, and had their cell phones out throughout the movie- and were overall belligerent (one individual having four pitchers of beer in front of him). Other moviegoers (at least 4-5) repeatedly asked them to be quiet during the movie, with no result- thus leading to multiple people complaining to staff/ management about how interruptive they were. The staff were slow to respond, only sending a staff member in to “watch” the offenders for around five minutes (after around the third or fourth complaint). Obviously they were on their best behaviour when they saw the staff member, but once again were disruptive as soon as the staff left. Not only did the staff fail customers in not dealing with the issue effectively, but also by continuously serving them alcohol (each member of the party got up at least once, most two to three times, coming back into the theatre with yet another glass of beer- on top of the pitchers). As the moviegoers were leaving the theatre, the offenders acted harassingly, yelling at those who complained (in front of staff). It was suggested by one moviegoer that the cops should be called- as obviously the offenders weren’t in any state to be driving home. ~~~~~~~ 3 stars: My family and I are avid movie-goers, generally going every other week, if not weekly (seeing upwards of 30-40 movies a year). Because of its movie selection/ showings, we generally end up having to go to this theater, rather than Silvercity Masonville (60%/ 40% split). At one time, this theater was far superior to Masonville- however, we began to notice it slipping in service around a year ago. The most noticeable issue is the lack of staff- staff are few and far between, especially during its Stars and Strollers showings. I have never seen more than three staff on hand running the front of the theater during this time- oftentimes having line ups at the concession stand (where they also sell tickets from, no longer selling at the front booth) which can be 30 people (oftentimes pushing strollers) deep, Furthermore, during S&S, they offer a limited selection of concession items (no Outtakes, Starbucks or frozen yogurt)- yet their partner, Masonville, manages to be able to offer its whole array during S&S. It was quite a surprise to us when we intended to grab a full lunch when seeing a movie and were met with only the option of popcorn. On the note of the concession, the nachos can be a hit or miss- being served stale chips more often than I can recall (I know, I should learn not to order them anymore, but when they are fresh, they're quite good). Mentioning the stale-ness to staff is met with blank stares. Last, the VIP theater seats pale in comparison to its regular recliner seats- they're much smaller and far more cramped (not to mention, you're always banging a body part off of the new movable trays). I have yet to experience the full effect of the VIP seats with the seat warmers, as they're either broken or entirely turned off? I will obviously continue to support this theater- though not by choice, rather because of circumstances. I think that perhaps it might model itself after Masonville, as it is quickly becoming the forerunner between the two theaters.

The VIP theatre is a really neat experience. Getting (really tasty) food and alcoholic beverages ordered and served to you right in your seat before the movie is pretty cool. Slightly expensive but you're paying for the experience. The seats are set up in groups of 2 with a mini table in between groups. Very spacious. Going on a date is a lot more fun when there aren't people sitting right next to you. You can also lift the arm rest between seats to get that much closer and enjoy the movie with a significant other. Really neat idea. I did think the seats would be more comfortable but the all around experience made up for it. Good stuff!

Probably like most Cineplex Odeon theatres but WAY too expensive. If you don't buy tickets in advance online you may not get a seat together with your partner. The film runs are too short. Two weeks or so and the movie is gone.

Went to see the new Tarantino flick one afternoon. The only available theater was the VIP which costs an additional $5. I paid but didn't know what I was paying extra for. They should possibly give a little more info about the service your purchasing on the ticket or ticket purchase screen? We ended up buying our treats at the stand then going to our seat so we didn't even need the extra service. This was fine, lesson learned and my mistake. The seating is really nice but the bar in front of each row of seating blocks the bottom of the viewing screen. this was annoying, especially to my date. Also we wondered why the sound was so quiet? maybe it's at a lower volume in the VIP theater? my date was disappointed that there didn't seem to be surround sound. I would've enjoyed the awesome soundtrack a little more intensely if the volume could have been louder. Maybe that theater just doesn't have good sound? I dunno. went to silvercity last night and it was super loud!! Anyway, I will be a little more careful when deciding on attending a movie at this theater next time.

The cost vs. Value of going to Cineplex is waning. Not only do you pay more for movies and food but the portion sizes of their snacks keeps shrinking. Additionally, they no longer offer refills on anything- even if you get the large. Meanwhile at Landmark you get cheaper prices, comfier seating and refills on drinks and popcorn still.

My wife and I have been going here for years since it opened. We always upgrade to the VIP theater for three bigger seats and the more mature 18+ audience. No loud talkers etc. Recently the seats were all upgraded with fully reclining ones which are amazing! I could easily fall asleep in them. An honest thank you to Cineplex for that. The staff are always very nice and helpful. Everything seemed nice and clean. Avengers infinity war was fantastic!

Great Cineplex with VIP lounge / theatres. Although movie snacks are always overpriced, the theatres are well kept, clean and the staff is always friendly. I could be wrong, but the screen size of the IMAX seems smaller than others. There is ample parking, a small arcade, birthday party rooms, and nearby shopping / restaurants. I am a regular here.

Pretty decent. I'm displeased with the bars that are in front of the seats, to protect people from falling, but gets right in your view if you'd like to use the reclining feature here. All in all I'm happy, but would like to find a theatre with no bars.

My first time trying the VIP lounge and auditoriums. I was impressed the food was good and typical of what you would pay for a restaurant style meal. No surf and turf higher end stuff but basics like burgers salads and fish and chips. The staff was friendly and polite. The auditorium was comfortable and roomy with fully reclined seats. I would definitely do that again.

I live close by so its location is perfect. Staff is always smiling and happy to serve you. They always play the best movies. The venue is amazing with the recliner seats. Big screens are beautiful. Dolby surround-sound system puts your imagination inside the film the way the director intended you to see it. The VIP Lounge is comfy and I love the table trays to eat off of. Great place to go on a date.

I came here to see Lion King last week at the VIP cinema. The VIP area and auditorium was clean, but no one was working the concession stand. We came around half an hour before the showing or earlier and watched as nearly everyone except our party was visited by staff and given a chance to order something in the VIP menu. Furthermore, TimePlay wasn’t shown before the movie. Is this still a thing? I think that being able to pre-order tickets or reserve them online has made it difficult to get good seats. Expect to have to do this several days prior to the day you want to see the movie.

recent visit to Westmount cinema to see Rogue/ Star Wars . the film was good but the staff are all asleep > No one offered me the required 3D glasses On entry I went to the VIP line , the young man sold me a seat and I selected my seat , he said AUDTORIUM 3, I WENT to the Vip desk showed and she ripped my ticket , sent me to # 3 . its empty > why > a waitress comes in about 5 minutes later and I learn I'm in the wrong #3 theatre, the VIP ticket sell sold me a 3D seat in a regular theatre >>> so off I go . BUT HOW MANY ERRORS CAN THESE PEOPLE DO IN THE COURSE OF A VISIT TO A MOVIE ?? DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY LOOK AT THE TICKET > OR ASK ABOUT THEATRE CHOICE / THEN I chatted on line with staff and they said they would bring it the management attention . The cineplex at Westmount is not actually located in the mall. If you try to enter the westmout mall after 10 pm for watching any shows at Cineplex, you will need to walk for more than 5 minutes. I request the owner to make arrangements to create a shortcut from the bus route to reach the cinema, as the mall itself is dead and not lively.

The VIP theatre is great if you're 19+. You can choose to get served from your seat or buy concession and bring it to your seat yourself. You can order an adult beverage to enhance the movie, any movie is bound to be better! If you don't go VIP the other theatres have recliners too. They don't let you lie down as flat as other theatres but they're angled in such a way to make a very comfortable "bucket" for your butt to sit in. Better food variety than the other theatre chains! Mac and cheese bites? Heck to the yes!!

I have seen quite a few movies at this theatre and always had a positive experience. It is in on several bus routes if you don’t drive, and it is next to the mall if you want to stop for something to eat or to shop before your movie. The staff are friendly, the theatres are clean and the seats in the VIP are very comfortable. Prices are on par, worth the cost of admission.

We don't get out to the movies often, so we treat ourselves with the VIP theatre for the in-theatre dining. However, last time service was a bit off. They started to give our food to the people next to us and my order was wrong (it was supposed to be deep-fried cauliflower but they brought deep fried shrimp...). By the time I realized the mistake the movie had started and I didn't want to leave the movie. The time before this they were using the three pronged holder for the cauliflower popcorn and it toppled over (they have since stopped using them because even the staff were having this issue). It's too bad because the staff there have been really friendly and the food service used to be better.

If I could give this employee a rating less than one star for the service I received from her, I would give -100 stars. I received horrible service from a young girl named Paige Riopelle on Februrary 28/17. The moment I walked in, she immediately started eyeing me down, giving me nasty glares. I then noticed she was whispering to other employees, laughing, and pointing at me. As I approached her, heading towards my movie, she gave me an extremely dirty look, as she laughed directly in my face. During my movie, I got up to go to the washroom. I saw her starring from afar, so decided to go approach her to see what the problem was. She rolled her eyes at me, and walked away while muttering something under her breath. After my movie had finished, I was throwing my garbage away and leaving the theatre, as I felt something fall on my head. I looked at the ground saw a handful a skittles, then i looked up at the upstairs floor, and there was the awful employee. Yet again, laughing at me. I would appreciate if you would provide consequences for the actions of this particular employee and take the time to teach your employees some proper customer service. Thanks very much.

Surprised by our experience at this theatre. We were unable to order tickets at the concession stand, as we have always done at other theatres (convinence). Then, we went into line to use the computers however, they were confusing and we needed to wait for some time for a young lady to be finished helping others. She was constantly busy which indicates the current computer system isn't very helpful, not to mention the help desk is next to the computers and this is terribly positioned and causes you to walk trough the help desk line to get out of the computer line. We then went to get popcorn and stood in line behind 1 person for 10 minutes and by the time our items were given to us, it was well over 15 mins, making us arrive much later for the movie than we planned. Which in turn, left only front row seats available, which my husbands neck couldn't handle. We go to return our tickets at the help desk, to stand in line for another 15 minutes. Just surprised at how poorly this theatre is set up and how badly it functions.

First time in awhile coming to VIP here as I prefer Landmark Cinemas over this environment and yesterday proved this once again. We went VIP to see a movie, so already paid more for our tickets and then come to find out that there are no combos offered in VIP section for popcorn and what not? So I pay more for less options? Shouldn't VIP have better perks and options? Yes they serve alcohol and serve it to you, but maybe you need to revamp your strategy cause not everyone drinks alcohol. I will only come here to use scene points, other than that, Landmark Cinemas will get my money, better seating and options and experience.

I’m really annoyed at my experience here. I went to VIP and ordered an appetizer and a spicy caesar. I paid the attendant and she left. Ten or so minutes later she comes back and asks if I wanted the caesar wrap or caesar salad, this is something that I genuinely thought only happened in the US. I clarified that I wanted the drink and she left again. She returned with the cost of the salad in CHANGE and asked that I pay for the drink. At this point I have waited over 20 minutes for a drink and I’m not impressed I have to repay. Fine, whatever, I paid for the drink and tipped accordingly. If this was the end of the story I could have forgotten about it. When I finally received my caesar, the movie had started and it was completely undrinkable. I’ve had some bad caesars in my day, but I’ve never had one I couldn’t finish. Not the mention that is wasn’t even spicy. It was a late show and I knew that there was no point in trying to get this resolved, so I wasted 23$ on a caesar that I couldn’t drink. That is the worse Cineplex experience I’ve ever had.

I used to he blown away by the VIP section. But I went too see Borne tonight and, MAN! The VIP chairs are super uncomfortable now. Where they always that bad? They're flimsy and unsupportive. The AVX theater chairs are bit better not not much. Blew $80 on crappy food, and STALE popcorn. I feel like no theater makes fresh popcorn anymore. They just bag it up and stick it under heat lamps. Gross. Save your money if you're gunna go here and go to the AVX theater here instead. Or better yet go up the road to landmark and curl up in a power recliner.

The new seats are comfortable, however the one biggest drawback was the new metal poles across from the seats.. they block/ cut off the view if you want to recline. As far as the movie theater and seating it was great! Although i was greatly disappointed in the fact that I ordered 2 burgers for me and my father, it took almost 10 minutes to receive the burgers and along with that mine was still cold in the middle. I was also disappointed in the staff as far as being where they're suppose to be. When they take your ticket and point you in the direction to where your theater is. The staff member was not there, we had enough with waiting and directed ourselves to the theater. Are tickets were never torn. Also $6 drinks with no free re fills, what the hell is that. They need better staff with more initiative, and more fast pasted. Needless to say i will not be going to this theater again.

VIP experience does not even come remotely close to the what I've recieved in Toronto & Vaughan. Ordered a double rum and coke, got a glass full of iced coke. For $14, I was better off buying a Mickey and sneaking it in! The seats are nothing special in VIP as they seem similar to the regular/IMAX seats. As others have commented, the washrooms are absolutely disgusting and reak of urine. Ive visited this location on 2 separate occasions mostly for the scene points/location/ease of booking through the app, but both times they've failed to make an memorable impression on me. One of my favoured theatres in town, it has VIP services available if you're interested in having a meal delivered to you just before the film. Lounge outside of VIP theatre, which is nice for meeting up with your friends before the show. Seats are comfortable, and flip tables in VIP theatre.

Nice theatre, standard cineplex with reclining seats. Very well kept and a great place to watch a movie. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is there reclining seats aren't as good as Landmarks.

They took 20 minutes to make 1 order of nachos - which they gave me fries with cheese and I had to clarify. Tried to get attention of many staff during the 20 minutes, they all ignored me. Movie was good though

Went to see good boys and when we arrived I was told it was only playing in the VIP theater and was for 18 and older. None of this was listed on the website, wasted my time and kids were disappointed they didn't get to see the movie. Will be going to Silvercity from now on

Amazing service in the VIP area. My girlfriend and I went to see a movie there recently, and were both very pleased with the service. The concession area was very clean compared to most others, the staff were friendly and professional, and the seats were incredibly comfortable. My only issue was the heat in the seats wasn't enabled as apparently many people were confused by it, but it was soo warm in the theatre by the time our movie was done I wouldn't have wanted it to start with.

We love coming here for VIP and VIP service. I enjoy being able to have a beer and see a new movie. The chairs are unbelievably comfortable in the regular theatres now too. They recline completely. It really makes the movie experience a lot better, as I tend to move around a lot in the theater and cant get comfortable. Popcorn is great here too I ask if its fresh they can make it fresh if not.

Another place that is replacing people with tireless machines. Maybe one day we'll replace profit seeking shareholders with machines. And machines will take care of all our basic needs because there will be no employment left for any person. Machines making machines. Machines going to the moon. Machines don't need people. Love the movies. The service is less than desirable. Machines can dispense all confection. No need for hiring people to do a machines job. Think of the profits no one has gainful employment.

Tried to see Joker in VIP and got sent to the wrong theatre. We waited alone in there for 30 mins untill we realised it was past our show time and something was wrong. We went out and asked where Joker was playing and they said the theatre on the other side but we could still sit down and order food. Who knows how long we could have sat there before someone remembered they sent us into that theatre by accident. Had to talk over the movie to order food nd missed part of the movie when our food was delivered as well. I got served watered down fanta(syrup must have been out) but couldnt ask to have it switched like i could have if we'd ordered at the regular time. We figured wed spend the extra money to have a fun night at VIP as we hadnt been in years, and it definitely wasnt worth it.

I rate three stars...the place is great for movies but i dont like that when it comes to cheap tuesday tou are still forced to watch 3d when tou have no intention of watching a movie with another pair of glasses over my own glasses That is when i decide to go to another theatre to watch movies where there is a better viewing that are NOT in 3d

Haven't seen a wheelchair accessible elevator but the theatres and concession are all on the main level. The new seating allows more room and a much more comfortable experience for watching movies. Also, if you have a preferred seating location, you can now reserve your favourite seats while booking your tickets at the regular screens and not just VIP.

Love the selection of movies they offer, especially with the VIP options. They have a seating area on the second floor and an arcade area on the first floor to entertain you while you wait for your movie. Clean and professional. Food and drinks are way over priced.

For big screen experience in Auditorium 1 - best in London! Otherwise theatres there feel smaller but I focus my movie watching to those in AUD 1.

Pretty much the only theatre I go to these days. VIP is great if you don't want to have to deal with kids, but every theatre has full recliner seating now so you don't have to spend the extra money if you don't want to.

So got to theatre early to pick seats and settle in with treats. Find out other people have tickets for same seats. Ask to speak to manager. Turns out clerk hit button for tomorrow show. With the theatre full Manager says, "Oh well come back later...human error...sorry." I understand human error but no compensation offered for inconvience if sitting in car with wasted treats deciding whether to drive home across town and back wasting gas or find something nearby to do for 3 hours. Poor customer service. Won't view a movie here again.

While this cinema is really out of the way for me, it is often worth the trouble to enjoy some of the best of mainstream films that have proved Oscar material considering it was the first of the city to run films like The King's Speech and Green Book.
