The seats are really uncomfortable and it literally smells bad inside. Picture quality is lacking - the film seemed to be very dark. The sound system is satisfactory. If you want to do a retro-trip to movie going in the 80s then this is the place to go.

The only reason to go is because there is no where else in Dawson Creek. Seats are old and uncomfortable. Theatre is in desperate need of upgrades and expansion. Staff is friendly but doesn't account for a poor theatre experience. Better off to travel to FSJ or even GP. "Living in Dawson Creek" shouldn't be an excuse to accept sub par facilities. Near by cities have excellent facilities and make no excuses.

The worst. I travel to Fsj or GP. If it’s Star Wars Edmonton for IMAX. My father-in-law actuallly had to get stitches in his hand from one of the chairs. Blood everywhere. Quality of screen is very dark.

Went for Spider-Man opening, there was a lighting storm that knocked out the power. I like that they continued on. Seats are old and dated, small town I'm not expecting any Reno upgrades

We're thankful that we even have a theatre in a small city, however, that does not mean that the condition of such a theatre should be left as is. Most other theaters offer more than one movie to watch simultaneously throughout the day. Center Cinema, who is branded under a landmark cinema, needs to remodel or save up for a remodeling so that this business franchise caters their use of space to a smaller community. They need to reconstruct the internal main space of the theater which probably averages less than 50% usage per showing so that they can create 2 separate showrooms. It needs an uplift of this nature to attract different audiences who like different genres of film in order to increase turnout rates throughout the day. Though the costs of doing such a plan will not be a small number, it financially makes sense in the long run and will probably determine its fate in the upcoming future.

I like this theater. It's nice for a town this small to have something like this. The owner explained how the movie selection works, now I understand why the movies seem to be a bit random. Good sound, nice screen, friendly staff. The popcorn is tasty.

For such a small theatre you would think it would be cleaner. My grandparent cut his hand open on he seats and it is over priced and only shows movies for a week and they have movies way later then other places. It is worth the price to drive the to gp of fsj

The theater is a bit older so the viewing area accommodations are a little dated but the seats are comfortable enough, the sound system is good, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the screen works fine. So if you want to watch a new release you don't have to go any further to fort st john or grande prairie, this theater should suit your needs just fine.

Yikes. Just yikes. If you could find the dirtiest Chinese sweatshop and contract terminal cancer from simply coming into contact with the air, then I will raise to you this theatre and its absolute lack of sanitary protocol. Additionally, as a person who doesn't often get the chance to go out of town to see movies, by the time a large cinema release is shown here I've already had the time to watch two generations of my children and grandchildren grow.

Old theater with poor service. Will cancel advertised showing times at last minute on a whim. Cannot plan your day around a trip to the local theater here. Main reason why locals go elsewhere for their movie going experience. A real shame to not make a better effort.

Everything is really good, the theater,the popcorn but the only con is that buying the food takes quite a while and you might end up missing the start of a movie.

Yup we are old ,but staff is great and the price is right and it always has the newest shows ,what more could we ask for ? Sure it needs upgrades ,but Dawson Creek is always way behind ,because that's how our community works ,our mayor do not does not care he probably doesn't go to the movies here ,he probably goes to Ft .St John or Grande Prairie like all the other rich folk ,so you know what ,this is my home town and if the people who run this town are not going to support it I am .But hey everyone why don't we start a collection to build us a new theater,let's all us poor folk show how much we care about our community .

Older theatre that is very clean, good sound, good refreshments and friendly staff. They adjust their showtimes to allow for construction workers to attend. (Great idea). I go once a week and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

This ‘theatre’ is extremely run down and dirty, good luck even getting fresh popcorn. However you’re better off not eating when you realize how unhygienic everything is. The seats are almost black from how filthy they are and probably havent been changed since the Second World War. But the thing about our theatre I can no longer support, is the manager. In all of my experiences she was extremely rude, especially towards her staff. The final straw for me was when she decided to follow me home to confront me about being parked out front for a few minutes (apparently I was planning a break and enter). I will never use this theatre as long as she is employed there, and encourage everyone else to pass. Treating staff and customers with that much disrespect is unacceptable.
