At this moment this business gets a rating of 4.2 stars over 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is very high, and it's based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the rating is quite accurate. If people have bothered to leave their score when they are satisfied with the business, it works.

This Movie Theater is included in the category of Movie theater.
Nice, clean, modern theaters. And a price tag to match. No good deals to be had here, but if you're looking for a satisfying movie going experience then you're going to be happy with your trip to these Cinemas.
Nice theater, we watched spiderman in 4DX. Theater is larger than it looks on the website, it's not small like we expecting. Seats were nicely spaced out too. Seats were moving around with the movie, which was really cool when the camera …
They have upgraded the seats to recliner's which makes so much more space. We really enjoyed our time.
The movie Shaft was excellent but the theater smells old. I swear they never changed the carpet. Huge stains. The seats are old and so uncomfortable. We went there because we won premiere tickets but we always go to landmark in Orleans.
Really loved it. The service is good and the lines a are relatively short for a movie centre. My friend accidentally bought the show at the wrong time and the lady changed it for her, did not charge her and even gave back the refund which is really nnice the seats are pretty good too and I like how you can buy tickets at the machines.
I love going to the movies. This location is decently close to my house.
Love this place! One of my go to theaters. Just wish that they had the recliner chairs like they do in carling.
Nice theater, lots of tellers available. The seats are nice and pretty comfortable although I've definitely seen nicer
This theater has been one of our favorite movie theaters when we lived in the East end, and we still go to this theater when we move to the South end. We really like the recliner seats and once you try it, you cannot watch a movie without. …
I just cane back from watching Zombieland 2 and i think they're renovating. I was in theater 12 and it was ALL recliners. La-Z boy style. Very comfortable. I loved the movie as well. It was "clean" for a cinema theater. Prices are fair. We just stuck with the tickets for this time. Restrooms looked fairly clean, especially for a Friday night.
Always a great place to be for movies, location is key and this place being next to Blair station, makes it so easy to go to.
The 4DX experience was fun
We just saw the last Jedi and it was awesome! I was less than impressed with staff though, we asked for a refill of popcorn and were told they no longer offer free refills. Manager was rude about it. What is the point of paying the extra $$ if we can no longer get a free refill? Bathrooms were dirty as was the theatre. I guess we will stick to landmark cinemas for now on.
2 times went to scotiabank theater ottawa they have no heat in auditorium was freezing in there and end up catch a cold and after telling a cast member about heat they still Didn't have it on during winter they want people to freeze spring to fall better to go see movie
I was long overdue to visit even before the shutdowns. The chairs are SUPER comfy. I like how good they are about starting on top of checking vaccine records and keeping the theaters appropriately spaced.
The people who guy are awful. Me included.
Dirty, busy and crowded. No room in the seats or between them to walk. Not wasting my money on Cineplex anymore, Landmark has reclining seats, lots of space and is clean! Edit:with reclining seats and more space it has improved. Still could use some work.
If you bank with Scotiabank, this theatre is the one for you! Located at Blair, it’s the most convenient cineplex location in Ottawa. It’s big inside and is always bustling with energy. There are comfortable recliner chairs that make the movie experience spectacular!
It's not the best theatre ever but I love this place! Food quality is good and consistent. Seats could be a tad bit bigger but other than that, it's all good. Scotiabank theatre is my go-to place.
It's an ok, generic theater. Pretty much all the same nowadays. Because of its location and proximity to multiple other commercial stores, parking isn't usually an issue at this one. Not too bad during spring/summer/fall, but if I can park close and avoid those cold, -30 winter days, I'll take it! Cheers
Had my Son’s birthday party in Scotiabank theatre, we chose the premium party package. It was very well organized and our host was amazing! We had such a great time!
The seating was good and comfortable. Popcorn was nothing to write home about and the lack of combos under 15$ is kinda disappointing. Overall lots of theaters and has hosted amazing anime screenings but for a normal movie not worth the extra hassle to go to.
Good seating options and nice staff
This is one of the oldest movie theatre in Ottawa. However the interior is a little dated but this is one theatre you will get to see all the latest movies. The food choices are ok but limited. Very convenient in terms of commute as it is right off the high way
Extremely RUDE staff, never encountered this level of rudeness by staff in a cinema. Also made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Bad experience overall
Good seats and sound
Clean, not busy, and a return to movies..noone checked my tickets so I guess it's rules are lax currently.
Unpleasant concession and ticket area. The floor was littered with popcorn when we arrived and when we left. Why can't concession staff sweep up? There was no staff at the ticket counter, only terminals. Noisy machines. Lots of toilet paper on floor of washroom. When we got to the parking lot, most of the overhead lights weren't working.
Only main concession is open during Covid. Imagine that's a staffing issue.
Average place to catch a movie. Some of the staff were friendly and others could care less. The concession stands as you can expect were pricey. The actual movie rooms were nice and spacious. The hallways smelled bad but what can you expect with all that is going on. Prices are competitive.
Spacious
They finally have IMAX 3D
I love the reclining seats and that you can bring beer into the theater.
This place has declined over the years. Food selection is shrinking. Usedbtovhave great coffee, and soft pretzels. Preferred when it had the Burger King. Theatres are generally dirty but the seats are comfy.
When calling silver however reception never picks up and that why I got rid of a star. Other then that you guys have great service. Love going there to relax with friends and family. :) Keep doing some good work
It's a good movie theater. Chairs are pretty comfy, especially the reserved seats-worth the extra few dollars! Can get crowded and have sticky floors, but no real complaints.
Comfy leather reclining seats, fast service and helpful staff (and clean theatre) :)
Over the last few years, it's just gotten more and more dirty and more expensive. There's food everywhere, no one cleaning it up, and thats just the entry, the cinemas are just as bad. Now they replaced the awesome arcade with blown up mobile games and a ticket system, and its no fun at all. As for the price, 20$ for a ticket, and I pay another 20$ for some popcorn, a 2$ bag of candy and a 0.30$ drink? I only go if I have enough points.
Very comfortable seats. It's a really big theatre with quality screens and sound
They upgraded their seats!! It used to be the floppy hinged kind but now they've outfitted it with recliners. The vinyl upholstery is going to start peeling in like 2 years, so I'm curious what will happen to them. The staff was friendly, …
Very nice movie theater!
The day we went to see the "black panther"movie was really crowded. First we tried to buy tickets online to save us some time but the website was bugging so my friend had the genius idea to go there hours before to buy our tickets, we are located not far from it. Once the time was there we left for the movie theater with our tickets all week had to do is play games and buy food which toke us 30min total...then we entered the room and all the seats were almost taken...so we had to make a guy move(nicely) and sit in the front rows. The rest of the night was really nice and the movie exceptional. I recommend going!
The theatre is decent. Cool looking arcade area and a lot of food options. It only lost points for the theatre seats. Now that I've experienced reclining theatre seats these ones just don't cut it. If they weren't so crammed together it would be a much more enjoyable theatre going experience.
Great theater, friendly staff and pretty clean in the theater
This cinema has it all from Arcade, to reclining seats! It even has a Starbucks! Good for hours of enjoyment.
The concession staff was an lol experience. Got the 4d experience seats moved but surround sound was sub par and the lighting effects were too bright you couldn't even see the movie during the wicked lightsaber battles. Mist and wind were cool. Also adding different colors for lights and dimming would earn at least another star.
Love the film experience here
Recliner seats are the way to gooo
Everything you expect from cineplex, they've redone at least 1 theatre now to have the reclining seats which is super great
amazing, although a kid was locked into the play place which was a bit annoying as they were screaming through the whole movie.
It's a great place to watch movies with friends and family. They feature D-Box movies, VR Movies, and Regular 3D movies. ???? Have just friendly small play activities to keep them occupied. ???? Staff is friendly and helpful. There are a series of self serve ticketing system here for our convenience.
Lovely service by the staff, clean and perfect with covid protocol in place, had a good time watching movie.
Went there today and me and my mom were literally alone in the theater, it was great!
Great giant theater staffed by 4 people. Bring your own TP as that's not a guarantee
We only stopped briefly to meet a family member, use the washroom and buy a bag of popcorn corn to take out (can't resist the smell of fresh popcorn)! The staff were great and well-informed to deal with Covid restrictions. Clean facilities.
Wow... I have been going to this theater for over 30 years and this time around there was a change to the seats. Just amazing, comfortable and reclining seats. Everything you want wren watching a movie. And of course the buttered popcorn is always a must
Very nice cenima, excited to go back when reopens.
They've got very good audio system
Serviceable as far as movie theatres go. The layout is poor, so that I saw multiple people miss the mobile order pickup and think that they had to wait in line to pick up their tickets, and I almost walked right past the person ripping our tickets. Also the popcorn was stale, and my seat squeaked loudly whenever I leaned back. That said, I love having reserved seating at no extra cost, and the movie selection is better than at Lansdowne.
Cool cinema with the latest releases with some arcade games to kill time. IMAX and 4D options available as well. The food options could be better but overall a great place to catch a movie!
A very nice theater, even the décor is pretty out there (I'm guessing it was intentional, but it adds to the style). It's quite expensive, but this place is in partnership with Scene, so you get quite a lot of discounts if you're with Scene. The theaters themselves are quite large, but the chairs are only mediocre. The food stands are everywhere, so you won't have to wait too long to get your snacks. The popcorn however could be done better, I find they're often dry and the butter tastes like oil and salt. Overall, I say it gets a score of 4/5. Cool décor, very big layout, small wait times but bad popcorn / butter and a bit pricey.
It's been a while (2 yrs) since I went to a movie. Major changes that are not exactly positive. Very few staff and seems like ghost town, but maybe it was cause I went to 18:30 show on Thursday night? At least there are more 2D movie options now, cause the 3D glasses ???? gave me a headache!
It was nice, but it had some downsides. The machines to the right at the front entrance are always either broken or slow. Also, the seating was quite awkward. Other than that, it was nice and has always been nice to watch movies there.
went at about 6:30pm and there was no staff at the ticket area because they've seemingly swapped to the automated ticket machines. very frustrating to use and i'm not even that old; i mean, 29 isn't old yet, is it? whatever. the staff were aloof but nice; i suppose i get it, working around masses of people excited to watch movies could get tiring after the first couple shifts. movie was great too. if y'all like the marvel movies and have seen up to end game (i know, it's a huge endeavor), i recommend spiderman: far from home. my favourite MCU movie so far.
It was a great experience
Comfortable seats!! Place was empty, pick your seats ahead and go watch a movie help them recover.
Enjoyed a night at the movies for my Birthday. Had a good time. Prices are still nasty at the concession stand. So going to the movies once in a blue moon is do-able. Its dishonest, so I can not suggest smuggling in your own snacks. Don't do it. Don't be cheap. Let's face it, aside from the actual ticket prices that food you will buy there, helps pay for the place...at least that's what it seems like. So do yourself a favor and for all those working there. Buy the dam food help suport their funding. Keep the cinemas open, Support your local cinemas!!
It's a beautiful place, big, open clean space, very good and friendly helpful staff. There are arcade games here too. New reclining sofa luxury sofa seats. IMAX, 3D and Ultra AVX experience.
December 28th. Customer Service said the wait was under 2 hours so I decided to hold...it's now been 3 hours, 32 minutes. :-( …
Decent movie theater. Covid rules are respected. All the viewing rooms has the comfy lazy boy style chairs which makes it way more enjoyable.
Great theatre and super convenient location. I like that there are self-serve machines to buy tickets. The place is clean and the seats are comfortable. The D-Box experience is insane!! The seats are a bit high - I'm short and my feet don't quite reach the floor, which isn't always comfortable. But the experience is still amazing!
A decent place to watch 2D movies, because 3D shows are not available here.
4 DX now that's an experience!
Seats are so small, go to landmark you will never look back
Decent theatre. Holds up to today's standards nicely. The floors are pretty dirty, even by movie-theatre standards.
It's a chilly walk from the Blair transit station (especially if the mall is closed) but it's a safe walk for women. You needed fear people just idiots in cars as you cross City Park Place (make sure you have access up and down the snow bank on both sides if you don't use the sidewalks). The theatre is good stadium style and is well maintained. My only quibble is that popcorn and snacks seem to take time to order. If you love watching the trailers, plan on an extra few minutes to pick up your popcorn before the show.
Lights, camera, ACTION ... is the best way to sum it up... but bring your wallet Hollywood style... Remember when seeing Ghostbusters at St Laurent Shopping Center for 2.50 and 2.50 for large popcorn and huge fountain soda?? ... all in for 5 bucks... those days are but nostalgic references to entice that longtime classic outing of movie night theatre on the silver screen ... lol ... inflation is real but so is the fun.... cheers
Unfortunately the quality of this theatre has slowly degraded over the years and the staff don’t seem to care too much. The bathrooms were disgusting. Once we had to leave because the projector broke and they did give us a coupon for another free movie. Last time the “pre”show was not working so we had to sit and watch a blank screen and I went to complain and the girl said I just had to wait. Then I went to some one else (thinking she didn’t care? And the guy told me “sometimes they fix it, sometimes they don’t.” Now I go to Landmark in Orleans and it’s a million times better!
Been going to this theater since it open I think about 15-20 years now. It is a great cinema to go to if you love entertainment their is a great selection of arcade. Food you have some really good choices if you love coffee they have Starbucks bonus. Movie selection is massive they have 16 theater.
Always a pleasure to go there. Parking in available. Theatres are nice, big and clean. Friendly staffs.
Pretty good theatre. Lots of screens so they show a lot of movies, they also have an IMAX theatre, something not common in Ottawa. The staff is friendly and they keep the place pretty clean. Food prices are steep but that's just a modern …
Great theatre. I wish Cineplex will have better timeplay deals and more non 3D movies. I get really dizzy with 3D but seems everything is pushing for it.
Nothing on the website is posted saying tickets are sold out so I got there and I get refused because of the stupid seating arrangement and the seating arrangement sucks they have 2 people for one row by themselves and nothing in there is 6ft apart
Total dump, would NOT recommend this theatre. There is a dinge factor to this place. The theatre smells like urine, a totally repulsive effect during a long movie. If you can, I would recommend the theatre in Orleans. They have love-seat recliners and they don't smell like urine.
Love this movie theater but wish it was more comfortable like the one on Carling. We need more leg room.
I came here after a long time to watch 'Eternals', and was blown away with the experience: - One of the biggest, shiniest and best Cineplex location of them all. Located …
Very nice. I went to see Coriolanus, and the theatre was super comfy. Very spacious seats. The staff were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to as well. Hope to see other shows there in the near future.
So comfortable!!
I like this movie theater. You can always get tickets for latest movies. Also, I like the birthday parties here. I have hosted my son's birthday party twice here. And both times everything was very well planned and the host for the parties serves you everything on time. Kids loved the extra hour they get after movie for eating and enjoying with each other.
the new theatres are looking awesome with the leather reclining seats. its about time they updated the theatres. …
Terrific theater with leather reclining chairs.
Best selection of films in the east end. Most multiplexes in Ottawa just show a handful of blockbusters at a given time. Silvercity consistently shows great movies that are not blockbusters
Comfortable recliners and big screen!
Alright this theatre has seen better days. First off the seats had very little leg room, at 5’6” I was sitting almost with my legs up at my chest. Next the system allowed other people to book the same seats as we did, which was confusing for everyone. Honestly save your money and watch a movie at home, or better yet go to Landmark Orleans, or CineStarz for a better experience.
I remember when this place openned... Went to see an IMAX movie and seats were not as comfortable I was almost sitting on the ground. As much as I like watching movies, I find the experience of going out not like it used to be. We are …
Overall a solid theater, the place was surprisingly clean and online bookings were handled very well. The medium and large drinks are big enough to share, which makes the exorbitant prices sting a little less. I can't comment on the food, because I'm allergic to all of it. I didn't get a chance to see what they had at the arcade, but the fact that they had one at all is nice.
Remember room and chamber of communes
Great food selection, attentive service and great location next to a downtown pedestrian-friendly area with lots of sights!
Great place to watch a movie with very comfy seats.
Clean, well organized. The food is tasty, had the spicy chicken in particular. Surprised that they now have a beer/cider service. The metal seats in the lobby are not great to sit on. The theater chairs were very loose, such that if I wanted to support my neck while watching, I'd get tilted all the way back.
Great theatre, there is a lot of parking so that's not a issue. There is plenty of theatre rooms for movies. Seats are great and comfortable and rooms have great sound and quality. Nice little arcade. Always my 1st choice for a cinema.
I love the new reclining seats. They are very comfortable and they have enough movie rooms. Parking is good too but not very large, so in the winter you often have to park pretty far. Apart from that, it's just a regular theater. It has enough lines and service isnt too slow either.
I went on a hot humid day and it smelled like a urinal throughout the theatre. They dont have the good seats like the Coliseum. Would only go here for the convenience. Absolutely no leg room I'm 6'1 and my wife is 5'1 both of us had issues sitting properly.
Went the other night to see Star Wars The Force Awakens, and this theater didn't disappoint. We had assigned seating, so it was an absolute joy to show up, walk in and sit down. No stress. The cost of refreshments and popcorn is nothing short of highway robbery as most people have come to expect, so I'd love to see some enterprising people come up with a different approach to the movie going experience, that better balances the obscene costs of the food. (Yes I'm aware of the reasons for the current price model) the theater was clean and well appointed but the bathrooms in theaters always seem to be dirty.
Shang Chi in 4dx was worth it
It was a great time with the kids
Comfortable recliner seats. For heard of hearing clients they provide a captioning device which is cumbersome. Would have liked the option of amplified audio through headphones.
Clubhouse seats were kind of fun. Neat to see a play structure in there. The quiet audio was a bit too quiet and a few people asked them to raise the volume.
Took the kids to a movie in the clubhouse experience. The play structure was locked when we arrived over 10 minutes prior to the movie. We then had to sit through 30 minutes of ads and trailers before the movie started. My kids wanted to go home before the movie even started. It's hard to justify not torrenting the movie, or waiting a month for it to come out in the smaller, older movie theaters, where we're subjected to less ads.
Great seats, comfortable but the middle bar doesn't go up when the seats recline. There's a game room at this location, so arrive early to your movie to play. Overpriced concessions: but we've all known that for years.
Cant buy food or drinks in the theatre. Told to keep my mask on in my own seat. Chairs aren't comfy at all.
Decent size theatre house and Cineplex owned! It looks a bit dated on the outside (used to be Silver City) but still packs the latest theatre tech. I find that it's not usually as busy as other theatres I've been to.
Great place to watch movies. Pretty standard theatre. Circular set up allows for minimal need for walking long distances to get to your theatre.
Their website was easy to navigate and allows the option of seeing some great films from the comfort of your own home. Which right now is a godsend for keeping your sanity
My favourite theatre in Ottawa! The lobby is spacious and the staff are very friendly. It's kept very clean and the showtimes are fantastic. So happy to have such a wonderful location in the East end :)
My seat seemed to have been damaged. I had only one of two options sit upright (on the edge of my seat pretty much) or lean all the way back. Other theaters have better seats in my opinion.
One of my favorite theater in Ottawa. Food and drinks were good and didn't have to wait a long time to order. The seats were comfortable and worked really well. Prices are like any other theatres.
It's an average movie theatre. While the cinema experience is nice (ie. good sound, good picture, comfortable seating), the concession staff are pretty impersonal. I think that a giant robotic vending machine would provide better customer experience than most of these staff. The worst part is when they ask those up-sell questions and make a vague motion to the menu above them; someone should tell management how dumb it looks.
The recliner chair are the best. Great sound and the movie we watched was awesome
I always love going here for a movie but I was surprised that of the few seats that were available there was no attempt to keep families or individuals spaced.
Good movie theatre, nice but not excellent recliner seats. Experience is average.
This theatre is one of the worst ones in Ottawa. Popcorn and drink sizes are smaller than Landmark cinemas. The popcorn was 1/4 kernels, and not nice and popped. Butter was barely noticeable. For the price, totally not worth it. The movie theatre seats recline, but barely, and aren't as comfortable as Landmark seats. People during the movie were constantly using their phones. Will stick with Landmark cinemas, and never go here again. Not worth the money.
Excellent seating and covid spacing
I was sad to see they cut all their box office staff. Now you HAVE to buy tickets from a machine. They must have cut a lot of staff. Yet prices remain as high as before. If they are going to pay off people they could share the savings with their clients.
Not a bad theater, it is what one would consider "standard" by today's terms. They have a nice looking building, plenty of parking outside, many stores and amenities surrounding it (should you have other matters or business to attend to, like restaurants or banking).. and overall it's in a great location. Indoors it is fairly clean, naturally smells of popcorn, has some games/entertainment to kill time, decent structure.. ample self serve stations as is the norm of the day, and decent staff. The washrooms are nice and styled well. The movie theaters themselves are standard size and ample seating is available. Needless to say, check your show times and availability. This is one of my favorites, and being close to home, fits the bill. Cheers
Really great cinema! But it could be cheaper on snacks lol
Went to Star Wars in the DBox theatre. What the heck is that? Seizure lights, poorly timed shaking chairs and smoke that blocks the screen? Does the world need such a gimmicky experience? At one of the most intense scenes, the seizure lights were flashing so frequently that I couldn't see the screen. Maybe it's some technology that will improve in 10 years but, at the moment, it's at Alien 3 CG levels. I'll never do DBox again. And, judging by the amount of nervous giggles coming from the rest of the theatergoers, most people try it once and then never again. Luckily I'm a die hard Star Wars fan so, I was able to power through the distractions and pay attention to the story.
The theatre itself is my favourite, but I just went to see a movie in 4Dx for the first time, and I feel totally rip off. 5000 points down the drain for a false advertisement for 4Dx. My seat did indeed moved, and that is all. No smells, no chill/hot wind, no fog or rain. Just a regular D-box movie overpriced. I am really disappointed...
great movie theatre, the only thing they can step up in is to have a faster crew at the snack counter because I've been late to a couple movies before from them being too slow. Otherwise it's pretty standard with recliner chairs and good food.
Fun arcade, good theaters, and the usual expensive food. Staff is friendly and the ticket desks are self-serve so the wait is much shorter. Arcade card starts at $5. General tickets are "get there early if you want a good seat", you can …
Took the kids for the Clubhouse theatre so they could play. Even though there was no mention of it being closed on the website, official Cineplex site or anything. When the kids arrive, Clubhouse area closed for "Cleaning". My two children were the only ones there. No offer of sympathy, or alternatives, just crying children who have to sit and stare at a play structure they aren't allowed to play on. Tried calling the theatre for an explanation or update, took 25 minutes to get through (as the phone number listed isn't even for the physical theatre) you need to go through an automated system to get the actual phone number. Still no answer, left a voicemail. Covid protocols aside, update your website with actual offerings instead of taking peoples money for a bait and switch.
Great place still a fantastic experience
Nice people good location!
Quick consession service! Theatre showing its age. Our experience was spoiled buy a DVI setup on the main screen.
Great theatre. Easy to book online, on their app, or in theatre. Good snacks (though typically expensive). They've got 3D and always have a huge selection of movies.
One of the best theaters in Ottawa! More or less self serve now to buy your tickets which is faster than waiting in line and they have reclining chairs that are super comfortable!
We had a Costco gift certificate that could only be redeemed at the customer service desk (since the automated system never accepts them). There was only one cash open and the line was 20+ people long. The manager finally came to assist and was unfriendly and unapologetic for the wait and didn't offer much assistance besides asking customers wanting to pay for tickets in cash to go to the concession stand. After about 25 minutes (our movie had already started) we got to the front of the line and asked why they don't have more support and open more cashes. We were told that "everyone has gone home" this was at 5:45pm on a Saturday night, probably one of the busiest nights of the week. Staff are friendly but management, training and customer service seem to be an issue.
Theatre is starting to get a little dated considering what it was when it originally opened. The reclining chairs at this theatre and the Landmark cinemas in the city provide plenty of room and make the movie watching experience much more enjoyable. Lots of options for concessions but like all movie theatres bring your wallet as it is expensive. Would definitely attend again I. The future.
Great cinema. Better than most in Gatineau.
Nice seats, but it took 25 minutes after the scheduled time for the actual movie to start. 25 minutes of ads (and three trailers). I didn't pay to watch ads. Theatre even demands on screen you to put your phone away - and then proceed to barrage us with ads. Commanding you to offer your complete attention to their unsolicited marketing. Insanity.
Interesting place with lots of character. You can be here for hours without getting bored.
They have IMAX
They've upgraded the seating to lounge chairs. Fairly good selection of foods/ junk food. They also have a limited kiosk bar. ????
How could I go into this movie theater without wearing a mask so I could eat my hot dogs and chips in the auditorium in time before the commercials play at a year like this?! I really need to show Raya and the Last Dragon to my mother! She wants to see it too!!! ;(
This location has the most comfortable seating of any Ciniplex theatre in Ottawa. Theatre is well run with friendly staff. Would go 5 stars but, as is the case with all theatres, the concessions are too expensive!
It's been at least 10 years since the last time I visited this theatre, and things have changed a bit. Seating is amazing. More leg room and reclining seats. We were here for an exclusive showing of Batman v Superman. Great experience. Great movie. Thanks to the BEMAC Collision Group.
An extra nice large cinema complex, and they've just installed new larger seats and DX seats.
Great venue. Expensive of course, but it's a movie theatre, it's expected. Still fun to go with friends, lots of seats available most of the time. Floors are quite sticky sometimes in the showroom, I guess it's hard for the employee's to keep up with the huge messes customers leave for them all the time.
Bumblebee Motors Limited , 3190 Hawthorne Rd unit 2, Ottawa Ontario k1g 5H5 is happy to refer his customers to this place , good staff, good spirit.
Will soon be losing money & business from all the unvaccinated public. What a smart move for business. ????
Popcorn was perfectly buttered and the theater was clean and very comfortable chairs. Super enjoyable
Love the seats there really comfy and actually cool that they have a lil play structure like cosmic adventure right in the theater for kids to play
Loved the recliner chairs and the alcohol! Definitely makes most movies interesting, even the bad ones!
Nice theatre. Starting to show its age compared to the newer ones in Ottawa. The Prime seats are NOT worth the additional 500 scene point or price increase. Very disappointed with the additional charge for seats which were almost no better than regular seats. Will be buying general addmission amd sitting a couple rows up or down from Prime.
A bit dingy, nice to see a flick
Love the reclining seats for no extra cost
Went to see Deadpool and sat pretty far back by the sides. Great place! Didn't buy snacks, and everything went very smoothly. They have an arcade there too if you want to show off your Dance Dance Revolution skills
First we couldn't order our tickets online because the website was stuck on "loading." Then we get there and several ticket machines were out of order. We finally get our tickets and snacks, but the worst was yet to come. The popcorn tasted burnt and stale. The bathroom was disgusting with several stalls at unusable status. The theatre room wasn't much better... The carpet was old and stinky, and my assigned seat was falling apart. Thankfully, I was able to switch to a different seat. I will not be returning.
I always love going to the movies and it's nice, especially during theses crazy Covid times to be able to go to the movies again. Nice still that there are finally some good movies showing again! Great staff at this location. I always feel welcomed and an eager to return.
Went to see a 4dx showing of Black Widow. Unfortunately none of the effects were working it seemed. The seat moved, and there was a strobe light here or there, but nothing else. It was very disappointing.
Not the best. Sometimes is smelly. Chairs do not recline. This box D vibration effects on chairs are kind of overwhelming. Too strong! Not for everybody.
Always fun to go out.
Comfortable seating. Clean. Not much else to say. Not an engaging theatre. Pay for tickets. Pass through usher who rips ticket. Watch movie. Line up for washroom. Leave. It would be nice to see more creative interaction. A more lively experience instead if the same old routine. We certainly pay enough...#localguide
It's a theatre for movie lovers, make sure to get the IMAX experience on Tuesdays for an affordable price. There are 16 theatres and there's no need to worry about missing out on the movie you want to watch.
Love this place! I have been coming here for years and have always had a great experience! :)
The new d-box seats are so comfy! Highly recommended!
The imax glasses are significantly less comfortable than the AVX glasses. Good theater aside from this.
Very clean theatre filled with friendly staff. Buying tickets on the spot is now machine based which makes it really easy. Concession food was really good, and there were no problems when ordering. Unfortunately I'd really like to see a Recliner seat upgrade to regular auditoriums. The floor was also sticky at times when walking through and before our movie started a Windows desktop with a error message covering the screen however it disappeared when the movie started. Picture quality was average for a regular screen, however the sound quality was pretty great. Overall a solid experience, but for a Scotiabank Theatre it needs to live up to its expectations since it's nowhere near the quality of Scotiabank Theatre Toronto.
Best IMAX theater that uses Cineplex scene points. Worth the drive.
It smells they need a better cleaner ..first row smelled like pee!!! Go sit and smell for urself .... Theatre 6 Gloucester theatre ????????????????????!! Another thing I noticed... When you pay for tickets online you should make it aware .... How many seats are available and if u should be recommended to a later show if the seat capacity is meet or close to it .... Sorry just an opinion
???? They always have the latest mainstream movies, sometimes some indies, and opera Live from the MET. Overpriced food & movie tickets but no more than other movie theatres. ???? Always a fun activity to do with those you’ve known a really long time, those you feel comfortable with or those you’d rather not speak to.
Best one. The employee are nice and polite and they helped me find my bus card even tho they were closing. Thanks a lot again
The new theatres are enjoyable. The toilets need attention - always!
This place is amazing. The entrance is really fancy. The seats are amazing. And they have 4D! ( although I think its only for black widow). Still was amazing to witness 4D. Highly recommend this place!
They have great and comfy seats. They have a full and fun arcade. Of course there snacks and drinks are very good. Hope i will go there soon.
IMAX seats are tiny. I was shoulder to shoulder during Spider-Man and the armrests could barely hold my jacket. The food was overpriced (6 bucks for a pop!), and the straws hard to find. There are two exits, a front and a back that look …
It was my wife's first time ever at a cinema, and she truly enjoyed it. Service was quick and staff were very nice. The chairs were comfortable and are recliners.
Great seats and cleanliness in the theaters, IMAX and 3D always work and I've never had any issues. They also have an extra feature called the D-Box where the seats move as you watch the movie. If you really want an experience I'd recommend going to the arcade area and asking about the 3D Virtual Reality D-Box. They're really exciting to see and fun to experience, they're a bit pricey but I'd recommend trying it at least once.
If you like movies, they have movies. Minimum wage covid protocols are theater at best but they try. If we have to keep masks on, why sell food and drink? I definitely did not take off my mask, social distancing is hardly being observed.
Best movie theatre in Ottawa. Perfect location with lots of food places to choose from
Been going to this theater for quite some time. I always have a great time. There's an arcade games area. They've updated their desks to self service buying stations which shortens the line up. There's a large variety of food, fast food and drinks. They're now serving beer and wine too so that's a plus???? They have a lot of theater rooms so more movies selection. The staff is friendly and helpful They used to have rooms for group parties like birthdays. I don't know if it is still the case but it is that was something I enjoyed as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone
It was my first time at this theater. It was pretty cool especially reclining seats!!
So they started selling alcohol there.. not sure I like the idea. Went to see It there yesterday and there was a bunch of overly excited loud people right behind us …
Love being able to see movies again. Sadly not all concessions open in the afternoon. Theater was empty
Saw the "Greatest show on Earth" yesterday on my first visit to this theatre. The parking was plentiful while the theatre itself is home to at least 13 screens. Concessions and a gaming area make a visit there that much more fun. There's a place to stage children's birthday parties and the arcade games are for any age. Be a kid again and visit an all in one entertainment center, you won't be disappointed.
We went to see Coco. My kids had a great time. I haven't been to see a movie in a theatre in a long time! The seats were wide and comfortable, and that's very important to me since I'm a larger woman. I liked that the seats reclined too. I gave 4 stars because the prices are absurd and the popcorn was stale, the theatre floor was gross with what I thought was an unusual amount crushed popcorn. I thought there were people that at least swept the floors between movies.
Awesome I saw Rocketman in the afternoon and it was great and quiet. Loved that they had frozen yogurt.
Service.was good, seats were nice but Is it me or is $55 for 1 kid and an adult entrance plus 2 small popcorn a water and a small pop a bit of a hit?
Reclining seats looked and felt clean, screen size was good for the number of seats. A bit dated inside, but that's most Cineplex's
Love this place
It's a decent theatre. Seats could be more comfortable though. Also too many ads before the previews. I like that you can have an alcoholic beverage while watching the movie.
Watched James Bond and Venom there, recliners were great and very comfortable. Very clean and good service.
Always a fun time! The cinema has comfortable seating and the screens and sound are always on par. The arcade is a nice touch and provides entertainment before or after the movie theater experience.
Great theater to see movies, very clean! Lots of free parking, and friendly staff. Good selection of food and drinks close to this place.
Comfortable seating. Convenient online ticket purchase. However, I found the sound level considerably too high during commercials.
Clean and good theatres. Comfortable seats, big screens. However one of the new movies was put in a smaller theatre, so many people had to sit in the front rows. Also, one of the pick your tickets up online machines was broken. Hopefully that gets fixed.
Lovely. So comfy and clean and the staff id friendly and just so nice. Prices for pop corn are a bit high but well.
Lots of theatres therefore good selection of movies. Seats are extremely comfortable. Food is quite expensive. They now sell beer and wine (we were there Aug.2018) we didn't have any so couldn't tell you what sort of price you'd be paying. Plenty of parking.
Better then the sault, not saying much though lmao
The recliner seats are well worth the extra few dollars. The 40$ concession are not.
Okay. Won $25 Amazon at the arcade before the movie! Yes
Movie itself (Free Guy) was fantastic. the IMAX is not what it once was. The seating, although called and priced as …
Theatre itself is good but it seems they've totally given up on social distancing. We had people sitting right next to us, infront, and behind.
New seats are great. However, the rest of the building needs a major update: chipped paint on doors, carpets in the main halls smell like sewer, surfaces are old and patterns worn out. Generally felt unclean. This place pristine when it opened a decade ago, now it is run down.
My favourite cinema in town! Can’t even count how many times I went there before COVID, I had so many memories with this cinema, always a fan of IMAX. Hopefully I could go with friends after pandemic!
The staff was particularly nice - prompting me to write this review. I went for an early showing and was met with all incredibly kind people at concession, at the ticket taking counter and in between. Everything was so clean too! I don’t ever remember it being so tidy. Well done!
It is well-planned for covid concerns. Hand sanitizer is available throughout. With attendance so low we had the theater to ourselves. It's amazing to me that people will cram the local Costco but think the cinema is less safe. They have limited seat sales to ensure spacing. Even the available bathroom stalls are limited to allow spacing.
I loved the chairs , super comfortables, I barely slept haha
My favourite theater in ottawa, they have IMAX screens, great meeting spot for friends
Nice place, first time there. Had a great time with my freind.
Best cinema ever
Saw the new Spiderman in 3D...good experience but the chair kept reclining back to original position everytime I would recline back...????...would have given more stars
Dated venue, terrible seating. And no refills on fountain drinks? Do yourself a favour and go to Landmark Cinemas in Orleans, instead. Ample, reclined seating in wide leather sofas. Unlimited self-serve refills on fountain drinks. The obvious better choice when you choose to spend your hard-earned money to go out to see a movie.
Missing timeplay, was a great pre movie option. Under the impression it may be permanently gone as well
Good seating, reasonable price of admission. The ticket takers could be a bit more friendly and helpful.
Good experience. The recliner seating was good, spacious. However the recliners did not go too far down as someone would anticipate like a house recliner. But I would not consider that as a minus point.
It's good, don't get me wrong. It's more critical of capacity, most of the auditoriums I've been in there have been like sardine cans. Staff's usually pretty good though.
First thought walking in : Very dirty. popcorn all over the floor in the lobby, everywhere. There was a corner where there was popcorn swept into a pile, with all the sweepers. Not even picked up, sat for hours. Employees are not cleaning the floors, so it was insanely dirty here. I do expect some popcorn on the floor sometimes, but not like this! Also the room in the theatre was cramped. the seats are tiny, and you have no leg room, its overcrowded. People left their trash everywhere after the movie too.
Beautiful modern theater with excellent IMAX screens and tons of showtimes. Awesome arcade selection, and when we had a problem with one of the machines the manager was super helpful and gave us a free play on the game for the trouble. Easily the best large theater in Ottawa and the best place to see a movie in awesome visual and sound quality. Seats are very comfortable as well!
Clean theatre with 16 auditoriums and all the latest movies available to be seen. Plenty of snack options and a few food stands (Starbucks, frozen yogurt, pizza and burgers) in the food court. This location also sells alcohol for those who need it. Updated arcade section with plenty of games while you wait for your movie to begin. Lines are kept short with plenty of cash registers open to take food orders. Reclining seats are nice and comfortable, despite the usual limited space to rest your arms. Sound and visual quality were excellent as usual.
Orleans seats are more comfortable but this place is good overall
This used to be one of the best theatres to go to in Ottawa but now it’s so out of date. The seats here are god awful (Most are falling apart anyways with the broken “reclining” backs!) If you’re tall be prepared for some inconsiderate person to be smashing your legs the whole time with these outdated “reclining” seats. It’s definitely time for this place to do some upgrades. If you want a good experience go to the Coliseum (or whatever they’re calling it now) or a Landmark theatre. At least they but in actual reclining seats that are comfortable and you won’t get hit by another person from.
Decent theater. The location is great for those who live in the area and they have a good selection of movies and decent showtimes. However, they've been slow to upgrade all the seating to fully recline and so far only a couple screens have it. Also the food selection isn't very extensive, but there's a lot of restaurants in the area so if you grab something else first you're all set.
Clean and didn't smell like old wet dog like at Starcité cinemas. Love the recliners!!
great theatre and good prices! cheap Tuesday tickets are 6-7$ and I strongly recommend getting your tickets online as they are often cheaper than at the gate and you save time!
Great theatre to visit and their seats are quite comfortable, unlike some other theatres I've been to. We tried sitting in the DBox section this time and I have to say it's pretty cool if you're seeing a movie with a lot of action, but still way overpriced. As for the other seats, I've been a bit disappointed lately as the last few times we've visited we had trouble finding clean seats. Maybe it's just my bad luck but there always seems to be spilled soda or ketchup or buttery prints all over the first few seats we pick. I feel like they aren't taking enough time to clean the theater's between movies.
The food is more on the expensive side but reasonable. The arcades are very fun to play on when you arrive early or at the end of the movie. Movie quality is always great and the audio too.
We went to see rise of Skywalker in theatres this evening and the place couldn't have been dirtier. We had selected our seats in the theatre 7, at the 6:10pm showing, which was a smaller theatre with only 50 seats and it was something we were looking forward to with the nice reclining chairs. However the seats were covered in popcorn and melted down skittles/gum. The floors had spills throughout and it didn't smell the cleanest. When we went to advise an attendant that the seats we had selected were in such a disgusting state they did come by and try to take the melted skittles/gum off the seat. But the cleaning products they had weren't powerful enough. We were advised to try different seats and hope that the people who had registered in them wouldn't show up. We did get lucky in that sense. However I found the entire space unsanitary and I was afraid of eating my popcorn incase I touched some unknown uncleaned surface on my chair. Needless to say we will try a different theatre from now on. Shame since it's the theatre I've used since childhood
Very nice experience during orange zone Covid time.
Big theater. Nice reclining seats. Open during afternoons unlike most other theaters. Big parking lot with lots of food options around.
The first time ever of my kids watching at the movie theater. They are age 3 and 4 and watched Paw Patrol the movie with their cousins. Child friendly environment, not too crowded, kids did enjoy our visit.
Quick service, comfortable seating, plenty of leg room. Good sound system. Not too busy on Thanksgiving Sunday. Good picture in Imax.
Pretty close to my house, everyone is always friendly and the food options are basic but good enough for me at a movie
For a PD day they only had two staff working the food counter which made the line up pretty long. Other than that the popcorn and movie was good.
No cashiers at the ticket sales area, instead they were replaced with computer kiosks that were not intuitive - at least when using a gift-card. The lineup for snacks was extraordinarily long. The popcorn was cold, when I asked for warm popcorn I was ignored. They wanted an extra dollar for some butter for the popcorn. The ticket printer was broken. The cashier with the working ticket printer decided to go on break resulting in more confusion and hardship for the 2 cashiers they had serving 15-20 customers. The place was obviously understaffed. The hallway carpets were not clean and garbage cans were overflowing. The theater room itself also smelled terrible. Never going back.
Seats were a little small compared to other cinemas I have been to but in all, a good viewing experience
The theatre is getting up there in age, they try and keep it up to date but there is only so much you can do, it needs a good renovation to bring it up speed.
Always a great experience except seating people too close
Great time had!! Staff very good at their job!
There is ample parking which is good. The line ups to get tickets were long but moving fairly well. Popcorn wasn't the greatest. Didn't see anywhere to add becel. It took 15 min for popcorn so we missed the opening of the movie. Inside the theatre was smelly. 3 sinks the ladies bathroom were clogged. The theatre needs send TLC.
I enjoyed my experience. I find landmark cinemas with its all recliner seating more enjoyable since the pricing is comparable. But food was great. Movie was great.
We went to see "The Mule" .. the movie was very entertaining however the employees lacked the friendly service I used to receive. We had to use a ticket kiosk to purchase our seats, I preferred interacting with a friendly human. Our designated tickets were in a crowded row.. there were plenty empty seats we could have occupied. I miss choosing where to sit. Parking lot is very spacious but not salted.. we walked like penguins due to the ice.
Friendly Staff. Knowledgeable Staff. An excellent family theatre. Pick your own theatre seat and enjoy the Movie. Snacks are always fresh. Excellent choice of snacks. Great choices of Movie Times. We had fun. We're planning to go back for these reasons I listed. Very well managed Theatre.
The theater was very comfortable. Enjoyed it. I felt the audio was little too loud. But all in all a great experience.
Really great. Saw Black Widow in Imax. Great popcorn. Been a while. Well orginized.
Didn't take the tour yet but what I saw for free was a beautiful view of the river and Kingston. Will return for the tour. Lovely place to visit.
On sept 3, 2021 at 9h10 pm, I am giving this theater a 1 star because I did not sense that this establishment was respecting the health and safety guidelines for the pandemic restrictons. Everything felt dirty. Bathrooms, sinks, faucets appeared unkept/unclean(even though the maintenance paper was signed 20 mins prior). The theater carpet floors, seats, and surfaces were dirty. I dont beleive that seats were washed down between screening-but I am not sure about that. Seated in my chair, There was not proper distancing between other patrons. The theater seemed packed. There were people seated directly behind me and in front of me. There were however 2 seats in my row empty then 2 other patron sat. Cineplex has lost my business, Ive been to Landmark and its absolutely way better in all aspects of social distancing, cleanliness and not to mention comfort of seats. Cineplex was also more expensive. I will definately drive a little further to get the Landmark over all experience. Time to step things up Cineplex!
Purchased 2 tickets that needed to be refunded. Was only provided a refund for 1 ticket and was told by an employee to wait 24 hours for the second ticket (free ticket through cineclub) to show up on my account. It did not show up on my …
Convenient location.. Alcohol is served here which is pretty neat. Parking is decent as well.
Nice place.
They need to identify the theatres as we went into the wrong one lol Other than that, they have taken great precautions for everyone's safety concerning Covid.
Since the pandemic started, this was our first time going back. Paw patrol for the little one! First experience also. The staff was very polite and the seating was comfy. The distanciation is made …
Love the upgraded theatres. Not sure if they did all of them but they have nice comfy leather reclining seats in theatre 6. Less seats in the theater but really enjoyed them. Make sure to pick your seats online early with the app!
The theater is great and so are the concession stands. But the prices are getting so ridiculously high, i doubt I'll be going back anytime soon. I shouldn't be paying $35 for a 2 drink 2 popcorn combo.
I was there with my family tonight to see the Matrix movie. The second we sat on our seats and right to the end of the movie we kept being checked up on. It made me feel very uncomfortable. My son couldn’t even focus on the movie because …
Lots of spacious theaters. Used to go a lot to this location long time ago so it is always nice to revisit.
Gotta love the popcorn and large audience at a movie. There's something about the collective experience that you miss in your home theater.
Fun! The kids that work here are very sweet and helpful...also ...Sonic was great!
Very nice theather, well maintained and with nice employees. They should do like the competition and offer free drinks refills. It is now the norm and that is a big minus for them. Their online reservation system is although the best with the Scene points feature.
I think this is the worst Cineplex I have been to in Canada. The staff is just kind of stand off ish and I feel like I have issues every other time I am there. I played in the arcade with some buddies and this employee kept coming over to …
Good friendly service although the snacks are ridiculously expensive just like other movie theaters. Good seating and incredible movie.
Reclining chairs for a normal movie was nice. Popcorn was subpar and tasted old though.
Place needs a full clean out professionally.. you walk in place smells like urine and feet! Nice seating but smells like B.O. staff needs to be more friendly with customers.
The theater is ok but doesnt have recliner seats which makes it feel like your sitting on top of the person beside you. The service at the concessions wasnt great. The guy messed up our order because he was to interested in talking with the person beside him. We had to tell him 3 times that he messed up before he made a correction.
I seldom visit movie theaters. This one doesn't disappoint me nor amaze me.
The staff are always friendly and helpful here. The theatre and bathrooms were really clean. I like that they have recliners now, the old seats definitely weren't as comfortable. The ticket machines don't work that well and many are out of order, maybe it's time for an upgrade.
The theater was too cold, making it hard to fully enjoy the movie. At the cost of the tickets room temperature shouldn't be a concern.
Definitely a safe, socially distanced place during Covid 19. Never should have been closed at all. These guys got it right. Well done!!
Though I really missed the seat recliner quality to the seats in the carling theatre this was one was just fine! Great experience.
Wonderful theatre to catch a movie in. Seats are comfortable, they recline, lots of leg room. Food is good if expensive but all theatres have crazy concession prices these days. Ticket line moves quickly. Has an IMAX there, D-box seating. Two thumbs up
The IMAX here is a great spot to catch your summer movie blockbusters. Not much more I can say, but I've been to this theatre dozens of times and there have never been any issues, just happy movie going experiences. Popcorn and soft drinks are very good.
I love this theatre but no phone number on Google
We bought our tickets at an ATM (automatic ticket machine) with no greetings from any staff for just under $40.00 :( Then we walked over to our theater and handed them over to a bored attendant resting on a podium in a dark hallway. Then we had to sit through 20 minutes of preshow events including "Teleplay" while just three ... yes, that is right, just three members of the audience in an empty theater played this boring game of trivia that blasts you with sounds, quick clips of questions hosted for years by the same guy with a frozen smile on his face that I guess is suppose to energize and excite me ... so boring and irritating. What a waste of my heartbeats! I came to see a movie and not to be bombarded by a series of commercials thinly disguised as a trivia game. My conclusion .... Dear Cineplex, time to rethink your business model. Loud sounds, bouncing chairs and exorbitant prices with little human contact aren't going to make it. PS ... l am glad that I have recently sold off my stocks in Cineplex.
Saw a movie with absolutely no one else in the theater. There was no information visible on the rules for masking in the theater nor were hand sanitizer stations evident- they were there but you had to search. …
Just saw Black Panther and it was amazing! The movie theatre was very comfortable. My family and felt relaxed as we watched the best movie ever.
Pros: Good movie selection Lots of parking Location is great; close to buses, restaurants, Chapters, highway Assigned seating can be reserved ahead of time Lots of food choices Lots of bathroom stalls Seats can recline a few inches Clean theater Arcade Cons : Now that there's only self serve ticket booths, there is a lot less staff Food is ridiculously expensive (... Even though they don't have as much costs because there is less staff) Not enough leg room and I am only 5'3" No recycling
Nice place to watch a movie. The place is huge and have 16 theaters if I am not mistaken. When we came in to watch at 7.25pm there was a long que to buy the ticket but there are self service kiosk available and just waited 2-3min for my turn. Our 1st time to watch here last night. We were impressed! Also huge parking lot to accomodate a lot of moviegoers and it is free parking! Definitely hubby and I will come back to watch here again when visiting Ottawa!
Was fun to have the arcade available to kill some time before the movie. Lots of the games were out of order at the time, however, but it was still an overall enjoyable experience.
Confortable seats, covid vérification, friendly staff
Absolutely no indication online that the Clubhouse theatre wouldn't actually let kids USE the structures. How about not running the theatre then when you can't even use the slide? Kids are masked, seems more like staff is too lazy to clean than to let moviegoers actually enjoy facilities. Last time coming here, that's for sure.
I've been going here for at least 20 years and this establishment is great. It's almost always clean (there have only been a handful of times where garbages were overflowing) and staff are friendly. There is ample parking at the front and back of the building and close to restaurants and the Gloucester Centre is across the street.
As a family we have always enjoyed an outing to this cinema. It can be very busy on weekends but the lines move quickly and the staff are friendly. The inside of the cinema is nice - the area (Gloucester City Centre) is quite run down and needs a facelift.
4.5 Stars -》Not the biggest theater you can find, so not crazy crowded. Saw Dark Phoenix and it looked and sounded great here. Concessions were timely, but for some strange reason they visibly looked short staffed. Maybe it was still early in the day when I went, I don't know. I'm only here once or twice a year as I'm not from the Ottawa area. Would reccomend ???? See you again for Star Wars!
The seats aren't as great as the Landmark and the place is kind of dated. They have those seats that vibrate with the movie or whatever and they take up a large section near the top. I feel like the demand for vibrating seats can't be that high and wonder why such a sought-after section of a theater would be devoted to that. It also makes the process of choosing your seats difficult because the map on the touchscreen doesn't really correspond with the actual layout of the theatre. Not sure if it was like that with all showings or if was just ours. We ended up sitting in an awkward area because the map was incorrect. As well, there were kids all around us on their phones and their feet up on the backs of seats. What the heck happened to common decency?
The theatre itself is ok, seats are fairly comfortable but I really really have an issue with the food court. Buying myself and my partner a # 1 which is a drink a popcorn and a bag of candy (from the top shelf). I took a bag from the second shelf and it was about 1/2 the weight of the top shelf ones because I didn't care for anything on the top shelf. There was no way no how that they were going to allow me to have it. So I took a bag off the top shelf and paid $41.00 for the treats. Unbelievable, guess I should either take a bag of my own in or go without.
Who wouldn't like this store? It's a bigger version of Canada's TSC store.
Needs to be updated, it use to be the best theatre. Needs more staff or better staffing. Popcorn was good. Still love scene points.
Modern cinemas with all that you would expect. Includes IMAX theatre.
It was fantastic.
Clean and spacious. Good snacks. Very good sound quality. I wish the seats reclined all the way.
Great time awesome environment . Prices for food was a bit steep but over all nice place
Cheat on the couch spot
Seats needs to be upgraded, used to love coming here. Then I found a theater with reclining seats. I choose the other over this one.
Small theater with limited selection; regular prices just like everywhere else; very limited selection in food and highly overpriced. Not the best surrond sound - some speakers are damaged and need to be replaced. Theater seats are not comfortable.
Excellent experience seeing a late morning showing of The Suicide Squad in recliners. Will go again for sure. Service was excellent.
The main larger theaters are great. The seats are a little uncomfortable/cramped in the smaller theaters, but usually I go to see bigger movies right when they come out so I only wind up in the good seats.
One of the best Cineplex movies in the area for sure. It has pretty much everything, from D Box, IMAX (3D), to ULTRA HIGH QUALITY REGULAR cinema. 1 to 16 cinema total, much bigger room than the competition. The experience was so fun because the have some beautiful staff members, which I ended up tipping one of them cause he exchanged my ticket in the very last minute and offered us some of the best sits in the room. Their popcorn ???? smells so heavenly good that I recommend having your own during the movie. Free and lots of outdoor parking spots. Definitely will go back.
Still a well run theatre with nice seating. Am only offering four stars because we had to stand in line twice for popcorn and nachos. We paid for both at time of ordering and then had to take a receipt to the grill and flag someone down. Also were told we could cut that line but the experience was uncomfortable.
We loved it overall. One small issue the seats are either designed not to be comfortable at all, felt like sitting at a bus station or public seat with intention discomfort as a goal.
I would not recommend going to this theatre, I dealt with a manager by the name of Ian and found him discriminating, rude and aggressive.
Great arcade up front! Comfy seats, short lines, and 16 theatres! We had a blast here!
Haven't been to the movies in awhile. The reclining seats are a nice added touch but they don't recline as much as I expected still leaves your legs dangling half way up. It was more comfortable to not recline. At least there was some space in between the seats to stretch out the legs. To buy a ticket it's practically all self-served, only one attendant available. The selection in food to purchase is very limited, they used to have a lot more. I don't know if it's the movie I went to watch or if people are just not really going to the movies as much but the theather was almost empty.
Really nice movie theater complex.
A good theater well-maintained and clean with enough theaters to have a very good selection of movies, it is also well arranged with theaters to both sides of the lobby rather than having to go down a great big long quarter like the South Keys version
Large multi-theatre experience, fast food in the lobby, some games, but a big corporate chain so not terribly intimate or personable. Expensive but not any more than other chain theatres. Large choice of current cinema.
Very good service. You will get everything from the first visit. Thank you.
This is a great theatre. I hope to see it open soon. There's nothing I'd like more than being able to sit in a cozy theatre.
Clean place. Great staff.
Since when do we have to show our health card upon entering the theatre. My daughter was denied entry for that reason. She has her QR code for vaccination and had a valid government i.d. tried to call and can't talk to anybody. Horrible service.
Landmark is better but this is still a nice theatre
