The Theatres have been revamped, the seating is super comfortable! An the amount of space for each theatre is extremely reasonable, plenty of Screenings, plus Mondays, any movie, $6 plus a free popcorn! You can't beat a new movie for that price! A must stop!

Walking around here is a bad museum. But if you pace the vacant “80’s landing strip” first, you can navigate the theatre with your mask as a blind fold. When this commercial complex makes a comeback Napster will have been rendered obsolete...Don’t be confused. You’re not in a missing JC Penny’s, you’re in a future truck stop or Amazon fulfillment center and a great place to practice parallel parking. People around here identify as “you are my blood”, “we are hin’s”, “Michelle isn’t a tire she’s a queen and bringing the frosties”, and apparently “every time I go to church I become the Mayorsheriff”. Every single movie has Nicholas Cage and Woody Harrelson. I know, what? The last time my buddy went to the senior show with his G’ma, wearing matching sweats, ain’t no Woody, saw no Nicky Cage (they’re trumpets or somethin that smells like a man. Gma’ bought RoseLand weather gear, umbrellas, WiFi, some bad sunglasses, and one effective excuse. There’s a special thing invisible g-force moving carbohydrates in Lavale, MD from South to North/Northmaybe. It’s a contemplative space between a box of Golden Grahams and the Golden Globes. Don’t trust the popcorn. Get your popcorn from the grocery. Get your grocery coupon from Marsha. Marsha is usually in the Lowe’s parking lot. And Between the matinee and the late night a reasonable business manager guy just shutter in front of your eyes.

As usual it is a theater , nice sound and good seats. Picture was good as was the popcorn. Only one grief I had was that the manager was walking around when he could have been on one of the corners of the concession stand getting refills for those watching movies.

Great experience! Concessions were great and the employee behind the counter was polite and helpful especially with our kids ages 3 and 6. We had a private showing of the movie as we were the only 4 people in the theater. How lucky was that? It was a fun, fun time!

Often the floors are dirty and sticky. Seats aren't overly comfy. And prices have went up a lot. Morning or noon movie times are cheaper. Weekends it can get really busy and the actual theatre doesnt have the biggest theatre rooms.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Decent prices for tickets especially if you go on a Monday. Food and drinks are similar to other theatres. Seats are comfortable, theatre was clean, and solid video and sound for movie. Would recommend to go see a movie here and will be back.

I've seen Bumblebee, Mary Poppins and Aquaman over the last several weeks and enjoyed my experiences there for each movie. I would recommend this theater to anyone as it's a great way to get out and enjoy a nice movie on the BIG screen by yourself or with friends and family.

I couldn't believe when I walked in and saw how small the screen/seating area was. It was a fine cinema with good snacks and typical movie theater pricing. Seats were comfortable. The only issue I had was the small screen.

It is a nice little theater with good service. I enjoy being able to swing into TJ Maxx before a show. Also... they have a couple cute photo booths. Take the time and get your photo taken with your kids or special someone.

Went to an R-rated movie this evening with my husband. We were in a theater surrounded by 5th and 6th graders with very few adults. The children were constantly talking, had their cell phones out taking pictures and using crude language. I will never return to a theater that allows this type of behavior and children this age in an R-rated movie again.

The current theater owner did split two of the theaters to give them 8. For big showings they may have multiple viewings set up. I would say the prices are comparable to other theaters. They have removed seats in a couple areas to allow for wheelchairs and have a good view. Not sure why we don't get some movies as fast as other theaters but it is the only other theater between McHenry and Hagerstown.

Been coming here for 18 years. Hasn't changed a bit. They really should consider cleaning or replacing the screens, because I've noticed a stain on one of them that has been there for 3 years. They also haven't really upgraded the speakers in 18 years, but they still work fine enough though I do notice feedback at high volume points in films. They could also make a ton more cash by upgrading to LieMax projectors (look it up if your curious of the difference) for a screen or two. Obviously upgrading the sound system with it to IMAX standards for those 2 screens is a must. They would earn alot more cash because it would be the only IMAX theater within 80 miles.

On a 3 day getaway decided to watch a movie. Friendly staff, popcorn was hot crispy and not chewy. The restrooms are the CLEANEST facilities I have seen anywhere. Seats were comfy sound and picture were great too. Good job

Great staff! 5 stars to them. I even called to ask what most would consider an unusual question, "which screening room is better?" The wonderful young lady didn't even bat an eye. She responded with the staff's general consensus and gave me a straight and detailed answer. The lack of true stadium seats is what really loses this one a 5 start. Some theaters are simply on another leven than this one. But it is perfectly situated and you can't go wrong. Enjoy your cinematic adventure.

We didn't visit the theaters as often since it usually cost us a good bit to attend. Now that I was told about Monday's, it's more affordable to attend. Monday's : "Golden Star discount day"- $6.25 per ticket + a small popcorn then they have Seniors day every Tuesday at the Lavale location. You have plenty of movie options to choose from- 7 films in total. You can purchase online then visit the kiosk stand to receive the ticket. Basic consession stand with limited items. I do recommend purchasing one of the combos instead of buying individual items as they are costly. I absolutely love the popcorn & you can add as much salt + butter you want on either end of snack area. I have bought a bags whenever I wasn't seeing a movie. Each employee that I came across was fantastic, helpful and courteous. When entering & exiting it is fairly dim so they may want to brighten the area just little more for safety. The theater seats are comfortable nothing luxurious but better than what was there before. The seats seem wider with more room, not overcrowded as it was. There is a designated area for wheelchair accessibility. The screen quality & sound was great. It is chilly in the theater but it always was ever since I can remember, so don't change that as most of us know this. I have to mention the cup holders haha! they will hold any sized drink lol. I remember growing up, only regular fountain cups fit so you had to hold anything bigger. The theater & entrance was clean & tidy, as well as bathrooms ( at least in the women's). This is a great place for entertainment. Golden Star ⭐, you show try to incorporate a caddy or bag type carrier for customers purchasing multiple consession items, or just needing help. It's hard to juggle multiple items with / or without kids. Anyone who's taken 5+ kids to a movie with 1 or 2 adults knows what I'm talking about. It can possibly help cut down on cleaning too.

Not a bad little cinema. Located inside the mall, it is a quaint place to enjoy a decent movie. Unlike most theaters, these seats are in the old style of rows, not stadium style. Not an issue for me. They were comfortable and offered plenty of space for bottom and leg room. A fair selection of candy, good popcorn and drink prices and pleasant attendants working the counter.

They have a well stocked snack bar offering candy, popcorn, soda, nachos & cheese, etc. They also have handicap parking. The temperature in the theater was cool, but comfortable. For those who tend to be chilly, you might want to bring a sweater. We saw Equalizer II, which was a great action packed movie, starring Denzel Washington.

Missed 1st 10 minutes of the best part of the Transformers movie because of blackened out 1/3 of the screen! ☹ been waiting a year for this movie and missed the best part. A gentleman came in and fixed it but wished he could have restarted it from the beginning. It cost so much to see the movies now, it was just very dissapointing.
