Steep Price for sub-par experience. Very unclean theater with a constant sticky floor. The seats are long overdue for an upgrade. Customer service is simply the worst. Our projection simply went black for most of the movie and the staff was nowhere to be found. No compensations, they simply restarted the movie at a random time. Cineplex doesn't seem to care about this location since they have the monopoly.

Its your typical movie theater. It has everything: food, drinks, arcade, and bathrooms. If your a big guy like me (6'1) your gonna rub elbows with whoever is next to you. But that's my problem. Bring your card to buy tickets at the machine or else you'll be standing in line waiting behind everyone else grabbing food to get yours. I like to go grab my seats first then go grab food right before the movie starts.

Staff were excited to be welcoming everyone back. Friendly greeting from the moment we walked. The popcorn has never tasted this good. Saw the movie Dune, it was ok but felt great to be sitting in a movie theater again. Everyone around me followed COVID rules and kept their mask on when not eating. Can't wait to go back!

Showed up with about 30 other people waiting outside in cold rain to see avengers . They were late opening the door. The manager was not smiling and pretty rude. She comment on how it was only 2 minutes relax. For it being only 10:30am and 1st showing the place was pretty gross. I would honestly seek this manager some training on how to react with costumers.

Pre-bought tickets online and brought my receipt to obtain the tickets at the kiosk as advised on my online confirmation. The kiosk didn't recognize my confirmation, so I asked a staff member who told me I had to wait in line to order tickets? There is NO line for just movie tickets. You have to stand in the concession line to buy just tickets! There are no show times or movies listed anywhere in line and they are slow as molasses! 25 minutes waiting in line to get tickets I bought online to expedite this process. When I am finally served the guy at the concession had no idea so he said he would get his manager. The manager comes out and says someone already collected these tickets. I asked how that is possible as the confirmation specifically says you have to show ID to collect the tickets!?! She started throwing attitude and wrote something o a scrap piece of paper for me to give to the ticket collector. I cannot believe this person is a manager!. Rude and inconsiderate. I will not return to this theatre...it is so badly organize and there was garbage all over the floor like no one cleans up. Certainly not inviting.

I was not at all impressed with the service. It was very slow and the cashier Katelyn was very very rude. Not to mention the insane price to go sit and watch a movie and have a snack. Two people for a movie, popcorn a drink and a candy and it was a $64 night? Thats crazy. On top of all that, We were in theater 5 and there was a giant rip almost directly in the middle of the screen, what a waist of money. Very unhappy

The experience seems to be getting worse. 3D is literally 2D after 30 min. Screen is not the best. The food is extremely overpriced. Feel like an upgrade to IMAX would benefit us as an audience and their business. I went all the way to Ottawa just to watch Endgame in IMAX then I watched it here, way worse quality.

While it is a bonus that Cornwall has a larger "first run" theatre it is disappointing that the more nuanced films such as European interest films or Independents never make it to Cornwall. One can only manage to watch so many blockbusters in one year before the experience becomes quite repetitive and ultimately quite monotonous. I think whoever does the booking for this theatre underestimates the sophistication of its audience and they need to change it up a bit.

Popcorn always cold, picture fading to dark for most rooms, 3D out of sync, sound too low, SUPER EXPENSIVE... it's not very maintained and well managed. If you can go to Ottawa or Montreal, do so because they are not maintaining this theater at all to ensure clients get the best experience for how expensive it is. Last movie was Tomb Raider in room 1 and sound was low, pop corn was super cold and probably from the night before as it was moist. I can say sometimes it's good, but it's 30% of the time only.

Movie ticket and food prices are decent. Theater 1's screen quality is good but if you get stuck with another theater room you'll get a smaller, poor quality screen. Also their 3D technology is not as good as (for example) iMAX. Employees are respectful and work hard.

Totally normal movie theater that one would expect in a small city. Prices reflect the standardized prices of this chain of cinemas. Seats are your average cinema seats - they don't recline, arms don't move, you can't reserve them... but it doesn't make sense to have those things in a cinema this size. It delivers exactly what one should expect for a chain cinema of this size.

It has been a tough 2 years, however things have begun to slowly up, one being the Galaxy Cinema! Watching a current movie in 2021 will never feel the same as watching and enjoying the same experience from 2017 to 2018, however I can assure you that the staff at Cornwall Galaxy Cinemas have fantastically made it possible to enjoy a movie comfortable disregarding the fear of spreading or catching different sorts of colds and sickness! I went to the Cinema to Watch Black Widow and Space Jam 2 and I was glad to see how strong they follow restrictions! Their can only be 6 people per each row, and no ones head will be in the way of the movie, they have come up with like a zig zag pattern as to arrangements and seating! Thumbs up to The Cornwall Galaxy Cinema to slowly making everything feel normal once again :)

Very slow service due to multiple lineup system at concessions. Should adopt a bank line system so that the next person in line actually the next to be served. Very frustrating when you've been waiting to be served and a new cast member opens a new cash only to be rushed by people who were at the back of the line.

Terrible service in this place, huge lack of employees on duty. Concession stand only open until about 15 minutes into the movie. So don't drink that over iced soda too quickly. I stood at the cash for 2 minutes waiting for service until a girl yelled telling me they were closed, in the meantime the guy.who was cleaning the candy rack just sat there and ignored me. There isn't a whole lot of choice when it comes to theaters in Cornwall. The Galaxy shows the current movies, but they also have some other content: games, child-friendly showings, stuff like that. They offer caption devices for deaf/hard of hearing (so far we haven't been able to use this without problems but we'll keep trying) and descriptive audio for the blind (haven't used this service). There's the usual snack counter, but also frozen yogurt and a hamburger grill. You can order/pay for tickets online and pick them up at one of the many kiosks in the lobby, you can buy tickets at the kiosks, or you can get them at the snack counters. I've never encountered an employee at the Galaxy who wasn't friendly and helpful.

In comparison to movie theaters in the Ottawa/Montreal area, this one would be considered of more poor quality. Though for a small town, it's fine. Service is always great from staff, and food and drinks are always as expected. I have no experience with the small arcade they have. Only complaint is that I believe the theater needs an upgrade seat-wise. The comfort of the seats and lack of ability to reserve seats/get higher quality seats is a bit disappointing. Still worth attending for box office hits and their classic delicious popcorn.

Outdated, uncomfortable seats, overpriced, smushed in like a sardine. Last movie I saw was The Force Awakens, they played 45 minutes of ads, I was super angry by the time the movie started playing. If you're going to make me watch 45 minutes of ads, the movie should be free to watch.

The staff needs to clean more often and the young managment need to be taught how to properly be in the position of management and act professionally. That said, the young staff working the front are polite and helpful and trying more then the management or supervisor positions are.

They put way too many seats in just to make more money at the discomfort of the customers, theres no leg room, theres no elbow room, and the seats are old and very uncomfortable, just for those reasons they should drop the ticket price at least by half! and as for the food and popcorn, the prices are outrageous, they're asking $6.00 for a single hotdog, If the customers were smart they would start sneaking in there own snacks, maybe then they would lower the prices!, the only reason I gave it one star was because it wouldn't let me post my comment unless I clicked on a star, but believe me it doesn't deserve any stars, till they clean up their act!

The movie theaters are small but that is expected in a small town. The entrance to the building has games that children can play before the movie. Screen and sound are okay and seats are comfortable. There is a party room that can be booked for events. Staff are friendly. Unfortunately the cost of snacks do not make sense. Small water bottles for more than 3 dollars!!! Are you kidding me!!!

Was surprised the movie started on time, even with the long lines got served pretty fast. Its an older theatre though so you have no leg room and the seats aren't comfy.

The theater is fine if no frills. It seems bit understaffed but I have no complaints with any of them. The building seems as clean as any other theater and there is always ample parking. My only complaint would be with the patrons. Cornwall is absolutely the worst place I have ever expected to sit down and respectfully enjoy a film only to have to have it ruined by some idiot wanting to add their own commentary. Expect to have to tell some moron to shut up within the first 10 minutes of the film and the evening should be surprise free. If you're afraid to speak your mind you may want to wait for home video in Cornwall.
