Small town theatre ???? The prices for tickets are excellent. It would be nice if there was a debit/credit pay feature for tickets and concession. The seating could be better it would be nice to be able to watch a movie ???? in a recliner like landmark cinemas: Also in the winter it would be nice to not have to wait outside before a movie starts. Overall experience tho ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Tiny little movie theater :) so cute. Has only 2 movies playing. (Only two theater rooms) and the popcorn is nice and fresh and very good price!! Little pillow cushions for children:)

It's not a large theatre, but it's clean and affordable with friendly staff. The only issue I have is that they only take cash, no debit or credit. Tuesdays are cheap night, and make for a great night out with the kids!

I am really impressed with this theatre. The screen size, picture quality, and audio are all great. The decor is clean and updated. The staff are friendly. The tickets and concessions are so much more affordable than major theatres. Norfolk is lucky to have such a great independent theatre!

I love this little theater. Usually do very well with playing new releases. Renos are pretty great. Only real complaint is the volume of the movies can be pretty loud. Recommended.

It's a very old theatre with very old looks. They upgraded the seating, but didn't account for the lack of grading on the ground, so you can barely see in front if you aren't 6 feet tall. Sound is good.

For an older theatre I thought it suited the purpose. The larger popcorn and soda was more of a medium compared to what I'm used to but it was still affordable. Some people still need to learn that taking or even whispering during a movie is annoying as hell but cant blame the theater for others rudeness.

Great experience. An old theatre that has charm. 2 screens. Admission was inexpensive. 1adult and 2 children was $20. Cash only. There is an ATM on-site. Clean and organized.

The popcorn is awesome and a great selection of snack foods. The movie was excellent and the seats are so much more comfortable than years ago. Unfortunately, i didnt want to go up and get a new drink when mine was mostly carbonated water. The same creepy little usher has worked their since i was a kid and he still gives me the creeps. I will go back because the machine does that sometimes during busy periods. Love Georgina, she's so awesome!!

For a small town. The Strand Theatre has two screens. It's very reasonable at $8 and on Tuesday evening a movie is 5$...thats better than renting a movie.. ...lol. Plus all the goodies You can eat.

I love this little theater, the prices on both tickets and snacks cannot be beat! My father and I took my 2 kids and my nephew and it was $32.00 for toy story 4 movie! We bought enough snacks to feed a small village and it was about $45.00 that's 3 popcorn 2 nachos with extra cheese 4 drinks and chocolate for each of the kids. Beyond that the staff has always been nice and friendly, the theater and the washrooms are always very clean! My daughter favorite part? You can get extra cushions for the seats. If you're in the area do treat yourself to a great place, you wont be disappointed.

I love this theatre (it's cheap, local and clean - and I had a great experience there recently) but I cannot take another week of Hotel Transylvania 3 (and/or Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again). You only have two theatres and there are a slew of movies out this summer. PLEASE get other movies that are currently out now, for example Ant Man or Mission Impossible 6. Update: I still love this theatre's cleanliness and atmosphere but, my god, the same comments apply - just substitute Hotel Transylvania for the Lion King and Ant Man for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The Lion King has been showing for FOUR WEEKS. Now we have to go to the (smelly) theatre in Brantford to see Tarantino.

I love The Strand. Everyone is happy and they seem to enjoy their jobs. I find they do a really good job keeping up on the messes people leave behind (come on people... put your garbage in the bins... It's not that hard) The movie price is fantastic especially when it's compared to big city prices. Concession prices are also fantastic and they have the best popcorn ever!!! The only down side in my opinion is that they only have 2 theaters.

Maybe the only option around, but if you are accustomed to the theatre being the place for the best picture and sound experience, this will not be it. I don't think there were even speakers at the sides or rear; just two up front. That said, price is lower than other theatres, and it was a fun time with the family.

Not as nice as regular theaters but it's the only one nearby. Screen is good, the prices are low. Only two movies are shown so not much selection. Not a special auditorium, all the chairs are on the same level in a big room. This place is cash only.

As a theater in Thompson Manitoba it is excellent. But that being said if you are from the city or out of town and expect a cinpelx like experience you will not be satisfied. This theater is a rural type theater in that it offers one screen and shows what might be the best current movie at the time. This is not a bad thing by any means but it does mean that there is a chance that the movie you want to see may not be playing. Older theater but still clean. The sound and visuals were to the level one would expect from a theater of this type.

It took me 2 years in Thompson to go to this place . First time there I was not sure what I would find. The place looks so beaten up from the out side. But as a movie theater it is in descent shap. They play new movies hope they have more show times but i guess the demand is not that high. Overall a good Experience.
