Service is good but don't recommend getting food there (popcorn included). The morning after going there, always have stomach ache and sometimes threw up. Good place to watch movies but bring your own snacks and candy!

Thanks to my Scene Card I was able to enjoy a free movie. I saw murder on the Orient Express it was excellent. Love the theater love the food love the seats. Mostly love it's two and a half kilometers from my house I can walk or drive.

Was told that they don't allow bags into the theatre without offering any sort of service to hold my bag. The only explanation offered was that they had issues with video cameras in the theatre. Luckily I had my car out, but what if i'd walked? This place is a joke.

Unfortunately the only theatre in town, so you need to drive 20km+ to see a movie somewhere else. In the last 2 years at Silver City Mission, I have had the following happen: 1. Countless people putting their feet on the backs of the row of chairs in front of them, thus guaranteeing your row will shake whenever they adjust their posture. Sometimes you get a bonus "what's that smell?" game as their noxious foot odour is placed just over your shoulder. 2. 1 woman, at 3 showings, talk loudly & hush her child louder. 3. 1 man, at 2 showings, express his fascination with repeated "hunh!?" throughout films. I have moved on one occasion. 4. 2 men with such hideous body odour I have been forced to move seats. 5. 1 family with no issue bringing their baby to a 2+ hour movie (he stopped crying after 2 hours). 6. On seeing an art film (Loving Vincent), a "chick flick" (Wonder Woman?), or a foreign film (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon): nothing. Everything is fine. So why 1 star rating if all the complaints are about customers? Because the theatre is more than happy to accept everyone's money and not care about people's actual theatre experience. And that is shameful.

This theater is fine and since it is the only one in town, Mission residents don’t have much of a choice if they don’t want to travel to the WAY nicer theater in Abbotsford. It is not “bad”, but it is aged. The seats are ok, but have no recline (standard in the last 5-8 years for new theaters). The food options are limited, but that is mainly due to the smaller size of the theater. Thanks.

Decent little theatre close to home in Mission. Getting a bit beat up (seats etc.) Too many foreign films here that bump some of the popular Hollywood shows I really want to see. I say about 50% of the movies I see as an adult patron take me out of town to other communities because they are not playing here.

I have not been to a cinema in years, for no other reason than I am cheap. I liked this place, I paid 12 bucks or so for a ticket and literally had the whole theatre to myself to see Sicario Soldado. Now this was probably not the most popular movie, but it was good opportunity to try some of their good nachos, have a coffee and watch a film. The place was clean, the staff was nice and courteous, the film was good, and the facilities after were well kept. If you want to have a decent priced cinema experience go here on a weekday with your significant other or kids, and enjoy a good film. Thanks for the great time SilverCity, I'll be back one day in the mid-afternoon to watch a film in a cinema by myself, no joke that was pretty awesome and I won't forget you!! Cheers. Cameron

Went to watch the TED cinema experience and learned the cost to see this movie is $23. Researched online and phoned before coming to see if I had to pre-buy the tickets and how much they are, could not find a thing, so I assumed it was the same price as other movies. Decided not to see the movie, while the staff explained all live movies cost $23. Asked why they can't post this on their website and on their phone recordings, she just kept saying all live movies are $23. I guess I somehow should have known this???

I don't mind this theater however they are the only theater in the Fraser Valley Lower Mainland area but does not offer the 1000 scene points with the bundle that includes two pop a popcorn and a candy. Their bundle is only one pop one popcorn one candy. Kind of a let down

Mission Silver City is great. The ticket prices are reasonable. The only reason they lose a star is the ridiculously overpriced popcorn and drinks. If you like theater popcorn and a pop, be prepared to part with over $20

It was nice to take my family out for a movie again. Everybody had to stay within Fraser health regulations. So 21 strangers are made to sit close together? Is this so they have to clean less area? This is how it looks as the theater was very empty but we had to sit in our seats.

The good: small line ups, don't have to arrive one hour before show starts to get good seats. The Bad: Cleanliness, the seats and surroundings need some deep cleaning. Sweeping up popcorn is not cutting it. I thought the person in font of me was farting then I realized it was coming from the theater.

My daughter and I just saw the movie CATS. It was a whimsical fun musical. Singing and dancing, very entertaining. Makeup and costumes were amazing. Loved it when the ears and tails were expressive. Judi Dench, wonderful performance. Jennifer Hudson, moving performance. Rebel Wilson, James Corden were delightful. Francesca Hayward, absolutely lovely to watch. I don't understand why this movie had disappointing reviews. Didn't people understand that this is a musical? Some people are just too critical. Oh yes Taylor Swift co-wrote Beautiful Ghosts. 5 Star rating ***** I should mention that parking was great. Finding really good seats was no problem. Friendly staff.

Mission Silver city is a nice location and they show later movies where as the one in Maple ridge typically only has later movies on weekends which doesn't work with everyone's schedule always. The staff are friendly and usually do a good job. The prices are fairly steep though as I'm sure everyone is aware. Movies keep getting more expensive but where they really take you to the cleaners is on food and beverages. We took our nephew to see a movie the other night and it was 40 dollars for the three of us to see the movie plus another 30 for a kids combo, a bottle of water, a pop and a large popcorn. A large popcorn with butter is almost ten dollars. That's just ridiculous. But that being said it nice to go out and enjoy a good movie once in a while so we put up with the prices.

Favourite movie house for my family. Purchase your tickets online. COVID protocols are kept. Show your vaccination card, buy your snacks, fund the theatre number where your movie is shown and you are good to go. Other patrons are respectful and also want to enjoy their time.

My wife and myself go to lots of movies at silver city, not lately though....lol We went last night and saw 'unhinged'. The movie was ok but the the theatre was cleaner than new. It didnt have that old nasty smell. I give them 5 stars for clean, 4 stars for all else....still room for improvement. GOOD JOB!!! So folks....get ur butts to a movie, support this theatre.

I used to come here all the time from Abbotsford, as the only other theatres at the time were the Towne Cinema on McCallum, and the Grand Theatre in town. Silver City was the classy joint :D They always did a good job of efficient ticketing and concessions. It always seemed a better experience than HighStreet or Langley Cineplex

Expensive. At every theater. except $3.50 in Pitt Meadows We buy the cineplex Costco card $30. it saves you $17 plus, as you can upgrade the drinks for .50$ each and popcorn for.50$. Normally 2x $11.50 + tax, then 23$= tax for the 2 person combo, 2 drinks, 1 popcorn and a bag of candy. So over $50 for a movie for 2. Its still 40$ on cheap night. Gee I wonder why more people don't come out.
