Coming with my family over the years is always an amazing experience, regardless of which film we're seeing. I hope to be able to see the familiar faces working there again soon and I hope that covid doesn't cause too much harm, because it would be a true loss if we lost Cottonwood.

Amazing price if you are able to wait a few weeks after the movies release date. The seats are comfortable and the concession is way more affordable than regular movie theatres. There are often coupons in the newspaper for the theatre. Concession is cash only but you can take extra cash when you pay or there is a bank machine

Great theater for a inexpensive night out! They recently updated their seats which was nice. But lost 1 star because the seats are actually quite uncomfortable in the main theater. Worse than the original seats. So we avoid shows on that screen if possible. The seats for the other 3 screens are quite comfortable. Staff are great and the theater is very clean. Overall a pretty good deal to get out and see a show on the "big" screen.

It's nice that this theatre has very reasonable prices compared to Galaxy theatres but when it comes to appearance and cleanliness,they are clearly laking.Went to see the movie cats with my wife and when we went inside the theatre,we couldn't sit in any of the three back rows because it was full of popcorn,seats were sticky and wet and empty pop container and popcorn bags were left on the floor and seat cup holders.Not impressed.After the show,my wife mentioned it to one of the workers but their response was not professional.Also the lobby is messy, cluttered.Just because the prices are cheap doesn't mean the place has to look cheap.Looks like when the owners are out the employees play.The owner either doesn't know or doesn't care.

I bring a water bottle (rubbermaid) around everywhere I go (including my workplace, home, and when I am out). Upon entering the front doors of the theater, the owner rudely barked "Hey! You can't bring that in here!". I responded with "but it is just water, and I need it to survive as a human being". She said it was a "health and safety" violation, and I told her I understood, and that I would dump out the contents, and bring in the empty bottle and fill it up in the bathroom. She was not very pleased about this, and advised me that they don't want bottles like mine in the theater, as people trip on them. (I am aware that the only reason she is doing this is so I have to buy something at her concession, which I may have done if she was not so nasty!) She did let me in with the empty bottle, and I strongly advised her that she may benefit in some training in customer service, as this is not the only time she has been extremely rude and degrading to her customers in my vicinity. Even if my bottle is a "health and safety violation", I should not be treated so terribly. I was completely respectful in my responses despite her not being so, as this is how I feel everyone should be treated. The bathrooms are the real health hazard! Extremely dirty, dark, and dingy, the toilets look as if they are rarely cleaned, and everything is falling apart. There are pipes sticking out of the ground, just waiting for some kid or elderly person to trip on them. For soap, the have a single “bath and body works” foam soap for all the sinks! If she spent even a tenth of energy she spent on my bottle, and directed it towards the bathrooms, I think she may have a healthier and safer establishment! I have included some pictures. That being said, the theater is pretty aged, but the theater seats and sound are amazing (hence the 2 stars rather than 1).

Not as plush as the big chain cinema in town, but you get a better deal on admission and concessions prices, plus reduced rates on matinees. Great for an afternoon out with the kids! We support this independent, local family owned option whenever we can.

I love this little old cinema. The prices are great (on Tuesdays you can see a movie for a toonie!!!) and although the movies may take a while to be there, they usually have a good selection. As far as I know, the cinema is owned and operated by a local family, so more points to go there and support local businesses. I have spent many fun afternoons there, the place is nice, the seats are not the best but they are fine (is an old cinema, one cannot expect to have luxury everywhere) and I hear the concessions are well priced (I usually don't eat when at the movies, but my friend told me) so yeah, I recommend this place.

A quaint little theatre, very cheap tickets because they show movies weeks after the initial release dates. Very dated, but clean. It's also never busy in here (at least during the times I've gone) so you can be sure that you'll find seats here. They also show little indie or foreign films for a bit of variety.

A hidden gem in Chilliwack! They hosted the first Chilliwack Independent Film Festival which was superb! Definitely coming back when we're in town next. Everyone was super nice and helpful.

Theatre and sound quality was good, but the theatre door was left open for a solid 10 minutes into the movie so the blinking neon lights from the arcade games outside were really distracting. Every 20 mins an employee came in with a flashlight, not sure why? Was extremely distracting. And at the end of the show, the movie was barely over and we were swarmed by 5 employees frantically cleaning the theatre - awkward.

This is a common sense place. All prices are reasonable. Best popcorn I ever had. Real butter. The seats are clean and most comfortable. The sound system is very good. Staff are very polite and friendly. And they have a loyalty program. Worth the drive from Abbotsford for sure.

We have done a few client appreciation events here. Friendly owners and staff. Popcorn is good and they have other unique treats as well like mini donuts and real lemonade. Sometimes you have to wait for the major movies but if you are on a budget it’s a great experience with comfy and roomy seats! Lots of restaurants within walking distance for those “dinner and a movie” date nights.

I went and saw Sisters Brothers on cheap night. The movie was good and the cinema is okay but the price of their snacks is ridiculously high! Like over 4 dollars I think for a small Pop! It's a nice place to go watch a cheap movie, but I recommend smuggling in your owe snacks! There is a gas station beside the cinema.

Always been my favorite place in Chilliwack to catch a movie. Rented it out for my son's birthday too. Great prices for birthday rentals and regular movies. Consession doesn't set you back either. I plan to rent it out for my own Birthday in December. Can't think of a better way to spend my 40th than my own theater with a few friends and family around.

Great local venue, value priced, family orientated, and operated by a friendly family willing to Cater to any group, event including rental of their facilities for a LAN party, Nintendo game party, xbox or any gaming console you have. They went out if their way to ensure our vision game consoles connected to their theatre projectors, and we've enjoyed private gaming nights in they're big theatre screens, and private movie viewings. The staff are friendly and very accommodating!

We love it for our family. They only take cash at concessions so I have to plan ahead and get cash, but it's affordable and fun. They have kid safe previews before the kids shows, which we appreciate with littles. We really like Cottonwood Cinema.

I love this cinema. The staff are great, the movie prices remind me of Towne cinema in Abbotsford and the concession is reasonable. This place needs to stay open for the generations to come. It's an amazing theater. If you've missed a movie at Cineplex or think it's too expensive there, Cottonwood 4 cinemas always has your back. I'll be back soon for a great movie.

Tonight I have never felt so disrespected in my life at Cottonwood 4 Cinemas. My friend and I went to see Ride Along like I am sure many others have and we did bring in outside food. When we were told that they needed to confiscate our food we agreed but then wanted to leave and get a refund for the movie as the movie had ONLY just started. We were then accused of bringing in alcohol to the theater and were extremely disrespected. We agreed that we had broken the rule of bringing outside food in, but also agreed to the consequences of getting it confiscated. To then say we brought in alcohol (when we were completely sober and had not brought alcohol in or consumed any alcohol) and not give us our rightful refund for the movie we did not get to see after we agreed to the consequences of our actions. To say the least I will not being going back to this theater and will be telling people just to go to Galaxy as they have a much more respectful and professional staff.

Went to a showing of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas here, and it was a spectacular experience. I come from Vancouver to Chilliwack quite regularly, and have always passed this little gem of a cinema. Cottonwood reminds me of the cinema experiences I've had growing up in small communities. You can't beat the cost, and the friendly staff.

I love to go here with my little brother, it’s affordable, friendly and an enjoyable place to go. Concession prices are same as any other movie theatre, which is expensive, but movies are cheap and no one is forced to buy concession so there is no reason to complain about it,

Lovely little local theatre that plays "almost first run" movies at a reduced price. All theatres have been renovated so it is on par with the larger theatres, just a more intimate venu. Their concession prices are also about 1/2 of what you'd pay at some of the larger, chain theatres. I'll choose Cottonwood 4 over Galaxy Cinemas every time.

Just saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show, still such an amazing time. Staff were wonderful prices are phenomenal. Theater was impressively clean and social distancing was spot on. Only complaint is 2 theaters were used and it seemed that all the non costumed customers were in one while all costumed were in the other. Its very much a part of the experience and I missed it, but in this day and age with everything else going on it is a small complaint. So excited to come again next year in costume, now if only I could find me a frank n furter. Thank you Cottonwood for bringing a small piece of my teens back.
