The staff in the concession area was extremely accommodating. Cash only for admission is a bit inconvenient but the staff here made the whole experience enjoyable. Great place to bring a family. Fantastic little experience. Didn't get there much earlier than the movie started, but i was still able to get close up parking. On top of that, they had speakers playing the movie audio so you didn't have to kill your vehicle's battery. The line for concession and the washrooms wasn't controlled all that well, which was problematic during the intermission and at the end of the showing, but not enough to take away a star.

A fun location. It has washroom facilities and the price for a double feature is competitive. Some of the spots are a little small and some are pointing downhill a little. There is a loud speaker that plays the audio to help you hear if you are sitting outside of your vehicle. You do get some truck noise from the nearby 401. Overall, it was a fun place to visit.

Brought my teen & her girlfriend. It's a nice set up. Mosquitos were awful but the girls enjoyed themselves. Truck backed up with air mattress for the teens. Prices were reasonable

Great family outing. Popcorn is priced reasonably and two movies for a low price you can't beat it. Plus the privacy of your own vehicle you can get comfy. Bring your blankets and pillows let the kids sleep during late movie what a nice experience. Loved it.

Absolutely fantastic experience, we ordered popcorn, mozzarella sticks, nachos & fries. All the food was fantastic. My battery actually died after the first movie. Owner came out and boosted my car back to life. Was very pleasant and didn't hesitate to help me. Very thankful for him!!! Will definitely recommend this place and we plan to go again in the near future.

The Boonies Drive-In in Tilbury is probably the best drive-in theater I've been to in a long time I remember when I was a kid going with my family it was actually my first place to make money I used to sit outside of the drive-in and wait for people to line up to get into the drive-in theater and I used to wash their windows for them for whatever they wanted to give me the boonies drive-in theater brings back so many memories and I cannot wait to get back there hopefully this summer 2020 maybe they can set it up so their social distancing cars can be marked off to be 6 or more feet from each other I really don't want to miss out on the boonies Drive-In this year just a quick message to the owner hope you're doing well and you and your family are safe just to remind you we as the community are here for you if there's anything we can do as a community to help you as our community drive in theater just reach out to us we are here for you thank you for being here for us for so many years

OMG sooo much fun. Went here for a "date night" with my wife. Wanted to do something different. It is so retro cool! It was great being taken back in time. It's just a nice little drive from Windsor. Really impressive snack bar set up too. Come hungry! Good selection and reasonably priced. We had a couple slices of pizza, chicken wings, fries and drinks for $20. :o

Drive in close to home. They had some sound issues when we went, but gave all the cars free passes so all in all, a nice experience. A little warning, the concession stand is busy af so go a little early for a good spot and to avoid the long snack line.

Venue is alright with decent quick food. Screen was clearly visible owing partially to slight hills so you were always looking up. Brightness could have been better, but that's the price you pay for choosing a dark horror movie to watch outside. I was disappointed at the sound which would cut to base-y static thumping during some intense scenes. It's good that they can jump you if your battery runs out, though even after a double feature no one needed it. I was surprised at how many people ended up turning their car lights on during the movie, sometimes to drive away early and other times just so they could see for a few minutes. Come on people, have some common courtesy and use your phone for light!

Fantastic family run drive-in theater. While the son is the most social of the group, the father compensates for it by being a premier grill master cooking up the burgers, sausages and hot dogs fresh to order on their outside grill. The quality and portions at their concession stand are fantastic. The only downside was they don't let their patrons access their internet. Don't worry, if the kids (and adults) get anxious about being in a wi-fi free zone, there's a pool table, big screen TVs and other distractions inside, as well as their version of a church crying-room where patrons can watch the outside movie from inside.

Great place! Fun for the whole family. Good variety of new movies shown each week. Often a family friendly movie shown first, followed by one for more mature audiences (typically). Price is great at $12.50 per person for two (sometimes three) movies. Thursdays are also carload nights for $20 per car. Concessions are good and fairly priced. Much better experience than a night out at a movie theatre.

Kind people, reasonably priced concessions, but one thing I'll warn you of: bugs. We had bug spray and yet we had to leave early! If you dont have a netted tent, I wouldnt recommend coming. Once you get past the bugs, this place is phenomenal.

Incredibly disappointed. They insist we don't bring in our own food and drink, but then are understaffed in the concession. My partner was in line for 48 mins. They missed majority of the first movie. Then there were sound issues and multiple restarts to the second movie for zero sound. We were from out of town on our last day. It was after midnight and they hadn't even figured out the issue with the movie. All money should have been refunded. We spent over $70

Don't use your external gps...it will take you to a dead end road that isn't even close to the movies.. use your phone and it will get you there. With that said my family and I got there just in time for the first movie the prices for the pop and snacks are reasonable as far as the grounds I can't really say because it was already dark once we arrived. Overall I'd go back again.

Fun family evening out with built-in social distancing. It's been awhile since I've been to a drive in, and the screen here was better than I remember others being. Very good, crisp picture quality. Snacks are the usual movie-expensive prices (got to pay the bills, I guess) and our popcorn tasted stale. We'll be back I'm sure!

We had went once last fall and again this last weekend. The atmosphere is good. The sound was horrible both times we were there. I went to complain about the sound of the 1st movie and he said he was having issues with the cable. He 2nd movie played for awhile with no voice sound. My husband went to complain and was told that "well the second movie is a bonus". After atleast an hour the movie finally played with all sound. The owner went around and gave all the cars 1 movie pass. Very disappointing that both times we were there there were sound issues.

Great place to go on a date. Watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Venom 2. The concession stand is open late and has good prices. Big portions and good prices. Nachos and fries were great, everything was fresh. Ice cream was delicious as well. Staff was friendly (even the owner's cat was polite) . Definitely recommend. :)
