Very clean they always show good movies. We went on December 7th and seen "Midway." Could not help to notice a lot of veterans watching this movie. Not very many veterans around from world war II. Today,I had The privilege to speak and shake the hand of a gentleman who was at Pearl Harbor. Oh the stories he told... He could write a book. Thank you for your service!!!

The prices are good, staff is friendly. Its a small town theater you can't ask for much more. I usually go to New Baltimore or somewhere and come here the next day for a matinee screening. its perfect for that and I hope they have continued success for years to come.

Love Riverside Cinemas! So many memories of growing up watching movies in this theater...and now they've updated the decor and added digital projectors and sound. Right down the street and cheaper than any other theater around. Great staff too. Awesome, awesome place! My husband and I have been bringing our family to the Riverside Cinema for over 30 years. Its a great place to bring the family together, visit, see the latest movies and now spoil the Grandkidz.

Growing up in and around Marine City has made me quite fond of Riverside Cinemas. This theater is the ideal for small cities and towns. Sometimes we know the person on the other side of the counter or maybe you ran into the owner walking around downtown. This theater represents the values of our town and the people. The pricing is pretty cheap for the great quality they provide. Some people prefer going to a brand name movie theater like MJR. Everything is bigger and better there. This is why Riverside is also preferred because we don't look at all the flashing lights when we go, we go for the comfortable environment and the experience with the people we meet. Riverside is timeless.

Suprised not many people know about this place! Its very cozy, and the popcorn is amazing. The seating is diffrent then most, I will admit, it may need to be updated considering it is difficult for plus size people to fit it the seats, but overall it was a good experience and I do plan on returning!

This is exactly what you expect from a small town cinema. The seats aren't very comfortable, and the screen can be a little off sometimes (color, brightness, etc.). However, the sound system is new and quite good, and tickets are usually only $6 or $8. A great example of you get what you pay for. It's not my favorite theater, but it's close to home and my kids and I go pretty often.

My husband and I moved to the area 3 years ago. We found Riverside Cinemas and we love it. Despite the fewer number of screens, we definitely prefer Riverside over the bigger theaters in Port Huron. The staff is very friendly, the prices are amazing, the theater is nice, and the snacks are good. I've never had an issue with the theater or restrooms not being clean; it's really quite nice to put my feet down and not have them stick to the floor. I really can't say enough about the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the quality experience of this cinema. I would recommend this theater, especially to families because of the prices, but to anyone.

They may not have recliner arm chairs but they do have cup holder armrests. Older but well maintained theater. I went on a Sunday evening to see a movie released that weekend and was one of 3 people at that showing. Reasonable prices, not crowded, close to home; to me that beats recliner arm chairs.

Love this theater! It doesn't have the reclining seats like Chesterfield, but I don't like those anyway. And I like paying the lower admission & popcorn prices at Riverside! We saw the Peanutbutter Falcon last night...good family movie (but has a lot of swearing!)

Sure, the theaters aren't the largest, but it's this intimate atmosphere and new, super-comfy seating that will have me back soon. Reasonable prices and the best popcorn are other reasons I give them 5 stars. The best place to see a movie in Marine City or the surrounding area!

My wife and I love to see movies here. The owner and operator along with his family, live in our river side town. He has a charming home on the corner of West Blvd. He does his best to get all the current movies. Yet, he still manages to provide our small town, small prices along with big hit films. We appreciate the service and value he adds to our small city. Riverside Cinema is one of only three places to see a movie in our county every week. We are sure glad to have it close to home.

Really nice movie theater with some really nice people running it. For $14 or so I was able to get not only a movie matinee I was Toy Story 4 but I also had a huge soda and a humongous bucket of popcorn. Now even though I didn't take advantage of this additional deal they do while you two actually refill your soda or popcorn for $0.50 as many times as you wish. The theater was not overly crowded and was very clean and spacious 2 with a special tray for each seed being available for your drinks and your popcorn so you don't have to hold it. It is also located conveniently next to a Kmart yes I said a Kmart I believe it's one of the only three Kmart's left in the Metro Detroit area sad end of an era probably a good idea to go check that out so you can say you were actually in a Kmart before they become extinct. Also located next to a McDonald's if your family is hungry from you either before or after your movie. If you're going to go to a movie theater this is a darn good choice

Riverside is the quintessential movie experience. It is clean, comfortable seating, wonderful (and well dressed) staffs! Everything is priced right! Their concession has all of the proper movie snacks! Everything about it reminds you what going to movie is supposed to be like! Get out of your house and the streaming services and visit this theater before it disappear!

Cost more than mjr and the seats suck! If your theater isn't that great why charge people more. The owner cant afford new seats but he can put an addition on his house. Worst of all the theater is dirty. Next time you got get a good look at the floor and cup holders. TALK ABOUT GERMS
