I dont normally go to movies but i live in the area and this place has reasonable ticket prices and a very friendly staff. Really great since they added the reclining seats. Also really great discounts for college students on tuesdays and mondays are $5 movie nights. All in all a very solid movie experience.

I was a little worried about sitting in the front row at a sold-out showing but the big comfy recliner seating was awesome and I didn't have a stiff neck afterward. The theater was relatively small, creating a relaxed setting.

The place was filthy, had to ask attendant to turn the lights down 10 minutes into the movie. It was obvious the place had not been cleaned between movie showings. I have been to this theater many times and have never seen it this dirty. All the attendants were more interested in flirting and playing on their phones then doing their job. 3 behind the counter and only one did his job. Very disappointed.

I enjoy this theater. During the coronavirus pandemic, you can rent one of its theaters for $50, to watch an older movie with up to 20 attendees. Seven of us did so tonight and had a wonderful--and socially-distanced evening. Good idea, Kent Cinemas.

Up-to-date movies and varying show times. The theater is clean and the staff is polite and helpful. Prices are average, but Monday is the best time to go: $5 movie day with free popcorn! This theater also offers 3D movies.

I must say that this isn't the greatest theater, but... They have five dollar Mondays and you get a free popcorn. Being a parent of two, it really helps defer the cost of us going out. We have changed from going to our favorite place-Tinsletown, to here because of the lower Monday price and the popcorn. My kids love it and so does my purse.

This theater is one of the best in the area! They're prices are unbeatable for drink's and movies. They run special discounts throughout the week which are awesome. I have yet to find another theater that is as nice as this one with amazing prices. The facilities are always very clean, the staff are friendly, and the popcorn is good!

Great theater with cheap ticket prices, somewhat more reasonable concession prices than your typical theater, and a unique layout, with a cozy little area with dining tables before you go into the movie. Theater seats were deluxe recliners, and the quality of the screen and projection was very nice as well. Not to the level of something like IMAX, but it definitely matches the regular movie-going experience of the more expensive theaters, and at a ticket price of only $7.50. On top of that, it seems like along with the big blockbusters, they get a lot more of the independent films, festival movies, and foreign films. This place feels like a movie theater for movie fans. If I lived closer, it would be my new go-to movie theater, but despite the drive, I'd still like to come back here on special occasions. Definitely gonna keep an eye on this place for any special screenings they might have.

I wouldn't call this theater a new or fancy one, but it was clean and definitely less expensive than other places. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did notice that they are upgrading the seats. That would be a great change and really push this place to compete with the bigger chains. Also the popcorn was great and not that expensive. Once the upgrades are done, it will be five stars.

5 dollar movies. Sometimes you gotta holler and say yo I bought a ticket give me some popcorn. The popcorn is good, I prefer more butter. Sadly there isn’t vending machines here or an M and M machine like the Regal Cinemas. Overall this is a nice small town movie theater.

Basic local theater. Ticket prices are usually better than the bigger chains like Regal or Cinemark. Concessions are high as expected like most theaters but you can just pop into the Dollar General next door and grab theater style candy for $1 instead of the $4.50 they charge for the same thing. Mondays you get matinee prices all day long so it can get pretty packed when a big movie release happens. Seats are a pretty dirty and they don't always clean the theaters between movies. Pretty basic theater.

Usually not crowded, cheapest ticket prices in this area that I know of. Monday night is family night at the theater (might be called kids night) tickets for kids only cost $5 bucks and you get a free popcorn as well, can't beat that deal! I think there's a special deal with a beverage purchase as well on Monday nights but I can't remember for sure, unfortunately we usually don't get to make it there on Monday nights so it's been awhile since we've got to enjoy the kids movie night deal but we go a lot on the weekends and they still have unbeatable ticket prices at regular ticket price as well!

This theater is a fun, local place that's been in business for years. The seats and screens are alright, but I just love it's local flavor. I am particularly partial to this place because they offer refillable popcorn buckets for a good "deal" (popcorn is insanely overpriced everywhere, but this is as good as it'll get) and because in 1997 I got to see all 3 of the Star Wars Original Trilogy remakes here. Such nostalgia.

Small local movie theater - it always looks a bit dingy and maybe run down and I can't ever recall seeing it full. The parking lot outside is starting to crumble a bit. The popcorn is, however, always fresh and I like that you can buy and reuse plastic buckets for popcorns. The screens are small the the auditorium is narrow but deep which is a weird experience.

This is a good theater, especially for students. They offer a student discount and have refillable buckets you can purchase at any time and bring back for a discount on your next popcorn. The ticket prices are affordable and there are several theaters so they show multiple different movies at once. The seats and floors are clean and the staff are always courteous.

This is a nice little theatre. The concessions are fresh, and the price is great, especially on Mondays since it's discounted all day. The thing to keep in mind is that a lot of college students and families come here because of the price so you may rowdy or restless crowd. But in my experience from the last two years, you'll rarely have a crowd ruin a movie for you.

Really nice local movie theater. It has been awhile since I was last here, and wow, what an improvement. They really upgraded the large theatres with super comfortable lounge chairs! After you spend all that money to see a movie, it is nice that you get to sit in a comfortable chair to enjoy it. We typically go during matinee times to save some money. The snack bar is large and reasonable priced.

Kent Plaza Theaters has $5 dollar Mondays, the best deal of just about any theater in a college town. They also throw in some pop corn to sweeten the deal. They recently renovated their snack bar which makes it nicer than before. The screens are smaller than what you'd get in a D box equipped theater, but it's a worthwhile experience.

There are people who like everything in their world to be sterile, and plastic, and mass produced. If you are one of those people, go to the mega chain with the cold, unwelcoming lobby. Then there are people who enjoy experiencing the uniqueness, warmth, and comfortableness of a place that is like what we remember from when we were kids. If you want to support a local business, with a reasonable ticket price, come here. I for one am delighted that I can still patronize a business in my neiborhood, and be waited on by kids I know, and see other people I know patronizing the show.

This theater was recently remodeled with recliner chairs and boasts wide aisles that are very accommodating for those that require handicap accessibility. I love the five dollar Monday’s; even when they are crowded the staff is friendly and organized. This multiplex absolutely has the best customer service of any cinema in the area.

Very nice place for what you pay for. Its 5 dollars a ticket and they sometimes have Independent movies! I went to go see the Lighthouse here which was the only theater playing it. They also have recliners that go all the way back. All in all one of the best places to go if your looking to go see a movie!

The layout of this theater is interesting. It's not laid out like your typical theater, it seems like it was built in an old storefront, but I like it because of it. The reclining chairs are super nice and comfortable. Honestly, this is one of my favorite theaters in the area.

Mission Impossible movie was great!! The seating is new and is a recliner. Very comfortable. The theater has good sound, a beautiful picture, is very roomy and a nice place to watch a movie. The popcorn can be refilled, free, when you get the large size.

Paid a good amount of money to see The Lion King in 3D. Entire movie plaza was basically dead and still no one bothered to close the line of doors to our theater. Every time someone walked outside we had two huge lines across our screen! It wasn't until I MYSELF got up to finally do their job and close all the doors that we were able to enjoy what was left of our movie. Go to tell the manager who looks about 16 and all she did was stare at me and say "Ok. Sorry." Tired of wasting my money at this place.

This was a solid movie theatre. What I like most is that they offer late movies (beginning at 9PM or 10PM). A lot of movie theatres in the Akron area seem to close rather early; it's nice to have somewhere to go if your schedule requires later availability. As for the theatre itself, it was nice. Popcorn and soda was reasonably priced (at least, as far as any movie theatre refreshments are) and you can see they are working hard to keep the theatres safe during the current pandemic. I'm sure I'll be back here again.

It was so nice to be back to the theater! Staff was friendly, popcorn fresh, and seats comfy. The lobby and ladies' bathroom was clean. We were there for the first viewing time in our theater, #8 and unfortunately there was a bunch of food and candy on the floor, used face mask, and garbage still everywhere from the night before. They are advertising for help wanted, so they may be like everywhere else and be desperately understaffed. Will be returning soon and hope to see it a bit cleaner.

Love this theater, but would recommend seeing earlier shows. Went to the new Maze Runner: Scorch Trials tonight October 5th, 9:15 showing. The movie was nice besides the one or two babies crying or laughing the entire movie. The mother continuously walking up and down the aisle had every one turning their heads from the movie. Because this was a later show the staff was closing and not worried about going into the theater's. This gave my friends and I a poor experience at this theater.

Mondays: ALL movies $5 all day and a free 32 oz popcorn with each purchased ticket. You can also purchase any size bag of popcorn for $3. Always busy on Mondays, but NO WAITING for the time consuming seat selection process that holds up every other movie theater ticket line!

Went to see Harriet. The audio was on but nothing on the screen until the movie started, late I might add. Very annoyying to hear commercials and not be able to see anything. Theater seems to have gone down hill. Concession prices are outrageous, I don't think I'll be back.
