You know what they say, it takes one negative experience to ruin 1000 pleasant ones. well this was the one time. My girlfriend and I bought tickets online and we picked out our seats for the luxury recliners. Once seated we were asked by staff out get out of our seats and move down because another couple bought tickets but at opposite ends of the isle. Some how this is our fault and instead of staff asking the couple that bought tickets at opposite ends of the isle to sit somewhere else OR SIT IN THE SEATS THEY PAID FOR (like the policy says online when you order the seats) we have to forfeit our seats and it ruined the whole movie for us. We sat there thinking about how unprofessional the staff is to punish us when we did nothing wrong at all and it caused us to completely unenjoy our experience at imagine cinemas lakeshore.

This is our regular theatre...we go ever Saturday when there is a new movie out that isn't a drama or chick flick :) We love the staff (Hi Andrew!) and that it is locally owned. Okay, so they don't have pizza or pretzels....but it is clean, the popcorn is good and it is affordable. My only issues are PEPSI products and that they are not open on Friday afternoons so I can go when I am off work. BUT other than that -- we love it.

I like the ‘rocking’ style seats. Concessions are not as expensive as Cineplex theatres. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Popcorn combos are a good deal. Imagine theatres play all the current releases and have show times that are comparable to Cineplex. Easy to get to from the whole Windsor area.

Imagine cinemas Lakeshore is my first choice for seeing movies on the big screen. I love the new luxury recliner theatres, and buying my tickets online and choosing and reserving my seat means I never have to worry about a sold out show or getting stuck sitting in the front row. The concession lines move along pretty quickly and prices are more reasonable than the theatres at Silver City and Devonshire. I like the changes they've made in removing the box office, adding ticket kiosks and concession registers. I've never had a poor customer service interaction with any employee, which means training is solid and management cares about the customer experience. One showing last year had a technical problem and the sound quality was poor throughout the film, but they pushed on and showed the whole movie (Lego Batman, I think) and as we left the theatre we were met by two employees apologizing for the sound and handing out free passes for another show. Class move by a class business. I'm a loyal customer.

Great independent theater. I use it a lot, and avoid all the craziness and huge crowds at silver City or the Devonshire theaters. My only issue is the premium fee for recliner seats, which has tended to become a standard feature in many theaters. Charging premium for it is excessive, particularly if theaters are trying to get people to come out. I could watch a movie with out a few for a recliner by watching in a recliner at home

I have to say I've never had a bad experience at Lakeshore Cinemas. There was one time when I got popcorn and it ended up being a lot of kernels cuz I think I just got a bad scoop and when I brought it back up to the counter the team was more than willing to replace it with some fresh popcorn, and it was excellent and they were very apologetic and sweet. The seats are absolutely fantastic I love the recliners. I find that these recliners are more comfortable than the other theaters in town. I would love it if it wasn't more expensive to get the recliners but I understand and I'm absolutely willing to pay it. We drive from LaSalle to see our movies at Lakeshore.

This is really a hidden gem in the east-end of town. The theatre plays all the first-run films with many of its auditoriums offering recliner seating. It's always clean and well-staffed. And it's not nearly as busy as other cinemas in the city. Also, they offer a free refill on large drinks, which is a real plus if you can drink that much! 100% recommend.

A great locally owned cinema with all of the blockbusters you can expect, and also special features of older movies. Halloween you can expect to see classics like Freddy Krueger, and I'm sure they'll have something planned for Christmas, too. My vote is It's a Wonderful Life or A Christmas Story.

Also has the latest movies to date. The popcorn comes very tasty and you are able to add any spice flavours or even more butter! Attended your theatre on Sunday Feb 16 to see The Monument Men. Just wanted to let you know about a couple of your employees we dealt with. First at the ticket purchase counter...don't know his name but was balding and had a beard...very, very pleasant fellow. He just had such a great attitude and was just so pleasant. Second was Sergio the ticket taker. Our hands were full with pop and popcorn and serviettes and he automatically offered to help right to our door and held it open for us. Again very pleasant and helpful. And on top of that we really enjoyed the movie. So a plus, plus plus from us.

This is a nice local cinema. It has a ton of parking, a good number of theaters. It is clean and well kept. They have a good selection of snacks for the show and an arcade for the kids while you wait in the lobby. The seats are comfortable and rock with a slight recline in the theater I was in. This location is easily to locate from the road. You can get in and out without a problem.

I've always been a fan of this cinema. It just feels more homey. Airways less busy than the two Cineplex cinemas in Windsor and cheaper too. The staff is so friendly and the prices are great. We've never had troubles with parking. We've also enjoyed some private events here and have been well taken care of. The highlight...we pre-paid online for tickets that were non-refundable. Drove there and my daughter got sick on the way. So I dropped off 1/2 the fam and took my sick one home. The usher asked where the rest of the prepaids were and my husband said what had happened; they refunded him the money. We didn't ask and were okay losing out as it was a big warning when purchasing ahead. They really didn't have to do that but it was very much appreciated.

None of that nanny nonsense or charging you extra for packets - WHOLE SHAKER MADNESS. Combine that with the fact that it's not at a mall, and I'd say it's an obvious pick. I regularly drive from downtown Windsor just to go to Lakeshore Cinemas. Docked a star for obscene concessions prices, which are common to all 21st century movie theatres.

My go to theater, there is plenty of room and the recline seats are very comfortable. The also have plenty of times for the films so it makes it easier to work with my schedule. The only thing they could improve is the concession. Most of the time when I see a movie the line up is so large I usual forgo getting a drink and snacks.

We hosted a birthday party there for our son. There were 12-15 kids and they all loved it. They could play any video game they wanted on the big screen. The cinema provided the games, counsels and remotes. We then went to a private party room for cake and drinks. The hostesses were patient and attentive.

Other concessions are good (popcorn, pop, natchos, candy), but Coffee is definitely Not your strongpoint.

I cannot believe that because you rented a theater to someone private, you cancelled the only decent movie that was playing at your cinema on Feb. 27, 2014. I went out in frigid sub zero weather to see Philomena, the only movie at your location rated with a 5 star. Wouldn't you think, that for an evening showing, you would have cancelled one of the sub grade movies you had playing that night? I went to you location because you had this movie listed on the internet. I was disgusted when I learned that it had been cancelled but you were so generously offering a substitute movie at your location...really, did anyone take the time to read the line up offered. If I was coming to see a 5 star rated movie with an adult theme, do you really think I would have been satisfied watching a " leggo" movie, some infantile movie about boys dating girls or even a movie where the only redeeming scene was watching a fake volcano blow up? I will never go to your theater again, and I will let my friends and family know about your unprofessional methods of running a business. Shame, shame shame..you suck!

It has been a while since I've been to these cinemas and since then, the ticket booth to the right once you enter has been removed and replaced by kiosks. Call me old fashioned but I like the old way of human interaction and enjoy a simple conversation with someone before the machines take over. Luckily you can still buy tickets at the concession stand. The cinema is clean and I paid 6 bucks for a Tuesday 1:00pm ticket.

I would like an explanation of why when we went to buy our tickets it showed that almost all the seats were prebooked and the only ones available were the top or bottom row. However most of them were empty throughout the whole movie. This was at the 3:55 showing of the Hustlers yesterday. That was very annoying. How can Ibe sure this will not happen again and would like an explanation as to how it happened. When leaving the theatre I went to the young lady at the counter and she did not have an answer for me.

Very disappointed. Arrived at the show tonight and was told it was cancelled. The reason given didn't make sense. I was told the theatres were full. I was then told they had honoured the previous showtimes. How did that help me at 9:30 at night?. I asked how was I suppose to know it was cancelled. I was told I couldn't have known. The young lady at the snack bar told me I could come back tomorrow. There seemed to be no manager or anyone in charge. Lakeshore Imagine cinemas was the cause of the problem not the customer.

Now run by no staff and machines to buy tickets said nothing for today was available for the times we went. No one around to ask or assistance was non existent. Sad seems like if you want to go here remember to buy tickets on line as they do not feel the need to have staff man the place. No manager no support staff. Sad this used to be a great place. Won’t be surprised if and when it closes.

Not actually that bad just pissed i couldnt bring my starbucks into the theather... I would understand if they served coffee at the theater but they dont. So for now 1 star.

The new seats are amazing! So comfey! If you are one to fall asleep during a movie I guarantee you will take a nap in the brand new reclining seats.

This is my family's preferred theatre for movie nights. Big screens, comfortable seating...when purchasing your tickets, they have you choose your seats, ensuring you get the seats you want; good esp if it's a busy movie with limited seating.
