The staff opened the room lights before the end of the film. About 30 seconds before the end. Just at the most important goddamn part. They screwed the entire film up. It totally pulled us out of the experience of the film at the worst possible moment. Never going back. No respect for films and their clients.

It’s too bad because I love the place and it is a Canadian business. But if I have to get back aches after a movie, I’d rather go somewhere else or stay home. First of all, they have a Imax room and non-imax rooms. Went to see a movie on their Imax room ( i think #9). It was great (Dune)! Comfortable, nice big screen. Plus went in the afternoon, half price. Good jobs guys. However, return to see another movie, Eternals, and this time it was on a non-imax room (think #8). Very, very bad experience! Actually the worst cinema experience up to date. Picture glitches at many occasions, very low brightness (could barely see the details on medium to dark scenes), lines in the middle of the screen. My friends and I thought their was something broken lol Would not recommand their non-imax room and please M. Guzzo, update that screen and projector! Its not OK to charge people for that experience!!!

The rooms are good qualities, although we will see a movie that has been on the bill for a long time and is therefore in a smaller room. With Costco tickets, it's the perfect place to go and see a good movie. I do not recommend the Imax room that did not live up to my expectations. The benches are uncomfortable (for a supposedly better room) and I have already seen a better sound quality / image (ESV room in St-Eustache or Ultra AVX rooms in the Cineplex for example). (Original) Super beau cinéma Guzzo (si je le compare à d'autres où j'ai été). À chaque fois que j'y vais, je n’ai pas ou presque pas d'attente pour les billets et pour la nourriture. Les salles sont de bonnes qualités, même si on va voir un film qui est à l'affiche depuis longtemps et qui se retrouve donc dans une plus petite salle. Avec les billets du Costco, c'est l'endroit parfait pour aller voir un bon film. Je déconseille cependant la salle Imax qui n'était pas à la hauteur de mes attentes. Les bancs sont inconfortables (pour une salle supposée de meilleure qualité) et j'ai déjà vu une meilleure qualité de son/image (salle ESV à St-Eustache ou salles Ultra AVX dans les Cinéplex par exemple).

Nice little place to watch a movie. The cons I can find on this place is that the are no English movies and the entertainment area for the kids needs to be desired. Half of the games don't work. And needs a good reno. What really bothered me was the fact that they only accept cash or credit. I mainly use debit. I hardly ever use credit. Only for emergencies.

I was with my wife and we were watching BFG movie and during movie something bit my wife when we investigate it was bed bug. Also check there seats they are very dirty in corners I showed the bed bug to manager and staff. I hope they didn’t ignore it. But not going any more in this Cinema

They need to upgrade ASAP, they are stuck in the 90's, the seats are not comfortable and the "Cinemas Guzzo" intro and "go big or stay home" look very low budget and they haven't changed in years! I am surprised that people still go to this place and don't complain. Other countries are light years away from us in terms of comfort, service and technology and at a lower price. Just Google Cinepolis and look at the pictures!

The girl at the counter tried to charge for my toddler (less than 2), full price, and it was 10:30 a Sunday. She tried to charge two morning special after, not even one kid special, my son is 4 ! Every time I go here I have to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes to get my popcorn. The staff is very unorganized and the owner and manager do not seem to care. The other day there was only one popcorn machine switched on and at least 30 people waiting until they get their food. They also do not sell tickets online so everybody has to wait in line at the box office like in 1980. The seats are old and dirty but at least in one theatre they have been replaced with modern polyurethane (fake leather) chairs. I love going to the movies but the waiting at this place always annoys me! On the positive side, there is plenty of parking all around and they have an arcade. Not all machines in the arcade are working but still ok.

Great place to relax and watch a movie. Could be a great place for a date night too, but I've never been on one. Yes, that was a joke, so laugh your heart out. Come on! I know you want to laaaauuugh! Oh alright. Only problem is that the movie projectors are only 720p. But it's not that big of a deal.

The food is good and the chairs are comfortable. However I don't know if it was just the specific room, but in the movie Equalizer 2 the screen was a tiny bit blurry, shouldn't make much difference, but when I went to theathers the screen quality was always neat, top to bottom. It's kind of bothersome when you eyes are comparing. Else it was nice enough.

Before covid I gotta admit that this place was a little crummy, but it really did have a big glow up on the sanitary aspect and it's very very clean now. However the reason I can't give it 5 stars is that they still don't accept debit card to this day. I know it's none of the employees fault, it's the company itself, but really why don't they accept debit???? It's 2021, Guzzo. And also the food is kind of expensive with how mediocre it is, maybe even more than before;;; at least the staff is always nice.

The lights in the theater came on 15 minutes before our movie ended. My girlfriend left and asked someone to turn them off, but they stayed on. They finally gave us passes to another movie, but they were only for matinees. Without prejudice, First of all, the seats in the theater were damp, stinky and sticky... apparently they spray a disinfectant after each movie... 2nd, why not take advantage and steam clean and shampoo the seats and carpets (corners are clean but middles are extremely filthy) in the whole theatre during the 1 year Covid-19 pandemic closure. There is absolutely no Law that forbidden the cleaning during this period... specially if you know that people will be excited to go back to the theater and see the place as dirty as it looked 10 years ago... I'm 38 years old now... and I only remember that theater being clean when I used to go when 15 years old...3rd, my kids and freinds wanted to play the arcade games... the token machines didn't work properly, most of the arcades didn't function at all or work properly and or screens where completely discolored... I'm not suggesting to redo the whole theatre since I know it's been very though for business owners in General but some cleaning and maintenance would be amazing. Other than that... the movie itself was good and service was okay... But sincerely the message is dedicated to the Owner...No offense but as a successful business owner you want your clients and kids to have an amazing time and experience to be happy and extatique when going to Guzzo, specially when nowadays people can watch everything that's at the theater in the comfort of their home... Saw Dune last night, not a pleasant experience. Cinema Guzzo is stuck in the past. No ability to purchase tickets online. At the theater the problems continued. Lights were already off when we entered the room, but remained on during the entire movie. Movie screen had an observable damage on it, and the red Exit sign was illuminating the bottom corner of the screen with red light. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience, but I will definitely go to a Cineplex theater in the future.

Fast and effective service. Place is clean, and seats are comfy despite being an older cinema. Staff is friendly and courteous. The food choices as expected are standard cinema options. All were good, hotdogs, popcorn, soft drinks and candy. Food service area was a little messy on the counter, but this is not easy to manage when popcorn is flying off the shelfs. All in all a fun night out.

Theater, even with an IMAX, still manages to feel small. Overall appearance feels dated, very early 90s looking and not in a fun nostalgic way. There's no machines for ticket purchasing so you're forced to buy from a person, this would not be a big deal if it did not back up the line and cause big waits (I once waited 10 minutes to buy tickets). Additionally, the snacks are overpriced, which would not be abnormal for a theater if it wasn't that the portions are seemingly smaller the at Cineplex locations. Just not a very fun or nice experience overall sadly. I'd sooner go more out of my way to goto a Cineplex theater (plus there you can get Scene points as a perk for loyalty).

I used to go to this Guzzo several years ago. I was once a huge fan. However, the seats were dirty, the whole room had a smell of old popcorn that was left uncleaned, the seats were uncredibly uncomfortable. It cost me 15$ to watch a movie and several hours afterwards to relieve the pain from my neck due to the cushions. Oh I had a seat in the middle so my neck wouldn't be too bent. These seats needs new cushions. This is terrible. It's a gigantic cinema, where we expect the best, but this is all that was to be offered? I'm only giving you 2* because the screen wasn't ripped. That counts.

I would travel more so I don't have to go here. I really hope I never have to go to this place again. The do not take Interact, only cash or credit. The service is slow, the candy counter is not clean (see photo), the seats are way too soft with the armrests moving sideways. The screen in projection room 7 has exit light visible and a weird green on on left of the screen distracting you from whatever gets projected. If the movie had a lot of white light, you would see the structure on the screen or behind the screen, some square shapes (not nice).

the seats were very comfy and the staff was pretty nice. have to give it 3stars though since we were told by a rude couple that "they were leaving because we wouldnt shut up" (no previous warning or back glance was given prior to this message otherwise we would have kindly quieted down had we been asked kindly) , id like to note that we attended a horror movie full of noisy teens (which is normal) and i was trying to calm my friend down so we found this pretty rude. although this wasnt the cinema's fault, it would be nice if there were staff that maybe walked down the aisles to prevent things like this (and other rude acts as throwing popcorn at people). Once again, had we been asked to quiet down politely, we would have been glad to. Apart from this event, this theater is nice for family and friends to attend and the sound and viewing is great.

It's been a very long time since I've been to a Cinema Guzzo. Being from Laval and being English I do not usually go to Guzzo because the one in Laval only shows French movies. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! We went on a Tuesday so it was only $6 a person to see a movie, and a relatively large popcorn and drink cost $12 so that was acceptable. What I really loved was the large and very comfortable seats in the theater, and the legroom was spectacular! Also the slope of the theater makes it so that every single seat has a very good view even if a tall person is standing in front of you. It was a little bit of a drive for us to get there oh, but we will definitely go again.

Avengers fan event was an utter disappointment. 1: Prepurchased tickets were not worth buying as the theater in which they chose to place us was one of the old ones with the seats that haven't been replaced in 20 years but if you just showed up out of the blue you got a ticket for the IMAX theater. 2: The 3D during the movie was blotchy and out of focus for at least 35% of the film. 3: The worst part was AFTER when a crowd of 50 dissatisfied customers stayed behind to speak to the manager. Well the manager sent out his two female millennial assistant managers for over 20 minutes. During which one of them told us that "if we had left the theater to come tell them they could have fixed it" - to which I responded with a question as to whether or not it was OUR fault that we didn't leave the movie we'd paid extra to see at a "fan event" to come looking for someone to help - given how long it took to get the manager AFTER the movie I can only imagine how much of the movie I would have missed if I had left to try and correct it. Also the suggestion was made that they could start the movie over as if the time already spent meant nothing.... 4: The manager - la piece de resistance - after finally showing up his attitude was pure defiance. His first statement was that he had fixed it at the beginning so he didn't know what the problem was. Instead of observing a crowd of 50 or so unsatisfied customers and APOLOGIZING for failing to provide the promised "fan event" - he turned it on us... as did his assistant. I will also be calling the head office today.

Got to the cinema 10 minutes after our movie time started but still had time to catch the movie since there are always previews. There were 4 employees behind the concession counter with a lineup of 6 people and only 1 person serving all of us since everyone else was too busy cleaning up the counters, and the manager just standing there watching but doing nothing to speed service up! Ended up missing first 10 minutes of the movie because of this kind of service! Makes no sense at all. ☹????

Your general Guzzo, arcade, over priced food and sticky floor for new shoes. The ATMs at the front have not functioned 6 out of 8 times visiting so bring cash. A few restaurants nearby for the before or after meals, but this is not the place you want to bring a date. Always too many kids, children are fine, but we all know the child factor. Not impressed after a first visit. They refused to let the kids play with the video games unless we pay for movie tickets ... Buying tickets only for games is not an option and this is not fair which is not the case at Cineplex for example. Add to this that the stuff was not welcoming at all.

"Snacks" like pizza or chicken nuggets are very expensive for the quality of the product, they have to wait to pay dearly at the cinema for the side ... but they could put a minimum of effort on the quality. The quality of their "arcade" is deplorable, green screen and / or shattering, most machines are between 10 and 15 years old ... and that's not big headlines. Usually their pretty ok..... However today the air conditioning was either turned off or not working..... This information wasn't volunteed by the ticket wicket.... I was there on gift certificates and the balance to pay was small....but had I paid full price I would have been pretty upset... As it is I'm not overly happy...... They should have at least given out free bottled water..... Outdoor temps today are in the mid 40 with humidity.... I'm certain it was in the high 30's in there..... I didn't even feel a circulation of the ventilation fans???? Ask if the A/C works first.

The seats are nice and comfy, the tickets are super affordable, and they usually have all of the latest movies playing. 2 issues though, the IMAX is way too loud. I've started going to this cinema on a regular basis and I usually bring some ear-plugs to protect my hearing. Secondly, they still haven't fixed their debit machines. At first I thought it was a technical thing, but after a few months they're still not accepting debit. It's not a super big deal, but in this day and age it's odd that a big company like that wouldn't accept debit.

This is what you would call your typical neighborhood theater with a few pluses like IMAX screens as an example. Everything else here is the standard, over priced popcorn and drinks and a 9 screen theater house that could use a good make over at a few points. Not every screen has stadium seating which to me is something that should be a must. But a morning special (before 6pm) is $7 and $6 on Tuesday helps to make up some of the negatives.
