Somehow got a free movie and combo. I went to go pay for my ticket and the lady asked for my scene card, she swiped it and said I had enough points to claim for a free movie. So not sure what my balance was I said yes then asked to order some snacks, I ordered the combo 2 and then she asked if I would like to use my scene points again and that I had enough for a free combo as well. Then she said I had 7000 points left. I'm thinking at this point like what? I sat down in the theater opened the scene app on my phone, it said I only had 800 and their wasn't any transaction history. SWEET THANKS!

One of the most happening places in PEI. When the weather isnt as friendly it makes an ideal activity for all ages. My only issue would be the fact they removed the Arcade Zone. I do understand it can be difficult to maintain such an area but I promise you the Arcade Zone is a money maker and full of fun and entertainment. My suggestion for anyone associated with the theater to really consider the possibilities of a tried and true "cash cow" so to speak...

Only 3 stars because EVERY time we go to watch a movie.... there's always idiots with their phones on during the movie, which is annoying and distracting. Are you there to watch a movie or to be on your phone the whole time? Management needs to find a way to end that nonsense.

With the recent addition of their 3D cinema experience as well as their brand new luxury chairs, this is an awesome theater to go to - The best one in all of PEI actually! Prices are as expected but food isn't as expensive as many and they have great selection for same. Definitely miss the arcade that used to be there - Many fun games of DDR were had!!

Being the only mainstream cinema in Charlottetown, they do a good job at keeping the place running. Normally pretty clean with good service. The lines can be a bit long for new releases, suggested to buy tickets in advance.

My husband, myself and two teenage grandchildren went to the movies last night. It turned out to be one of the most frustrating entertainment experiences I have ever had. We bought the two teenagers tickets at the automated booth using our debit card, no problem. However, Grandpa & I wanted to see a different movie, I put in our selection. The automated ticket dispenser declined two differents debit cards repeatedly (there was no shortage of funds in the account). There was no sales rep. at the ticket booth. We went to the young man taking the tickets. We were told to go to the Pretzel shop. There was one young woman working by herself, making pretzels, selling snack foods, etc. There were 3 people ahead of us. It took 20+ minutes to get to the head of the line to purchase our tickets. I have worked in the service industry for years and have never seen anyone work so slowly. There were 6-8 people with name tags but no one seemed to be looking out for patrons having problems. (With everything being automated, someone should be assigned to monitor the ticket kiosks when there are no manned booths open). It was a very frustrating, disappointing experience!

Dbox seats. Don't bother. The back row, farthest from the screen is awful. We went to see Star Wars Rise of Skywalker, had to lean over the arm of my chair to see the entire screen because the seats aren't staggered and the height between you and the row in front is about 4 inches and with how distracting the movement of the chairs is, I feel like I missed out because of them.

As the only large movie theater in the area it exactly hits the minimum standards expected: shows the latest films, has decent audio and has comfortable enough seats. But there are a lot of features that are not exceeding expectations in any way. Unlike it's counterparts in other provinces, this location doesn't have specific seat booking other that D-Box seats. There are not a lot of theaters available, so there are not many non-3D showings available later at night. Cleaning can also be lacking; we saw a film recently and there was still garbage under the seats from the previous showing; staff are trying to be as quick as possible between showings, but possibly are not given enough time to do a thorough cleaning other than a single rush between rows. Like I said, this location hits the minimum standards but won't blow you away. If the cleaning was up to par I would have given it a 3.

Went during COVID when it was still a bit questionable if I should have but I was pleasantly surprised. All rules and recommendations were taken very seriously and prices were much more reasonable than you would typically expect from a night at the theaters. Heck they were so good my partner has debated ordering their nachos through to be delivered ????

Went to a movie there a couple of weeks ago and paid for prime seating, which is more than a regular ticket. Everything was going well until a group of people came and sat down beside my friends and I and were talking loudly, anyways one of my friends msgd me wanting to go, I was looking at the seats online the people next to me hadn't paid for their seats as they were still available online. So I went and asked a guy, who I think was a manager about the seating arrangements, he said where it is a slow night it is fine that they sit there. If that is the case then why the hell did I pay for prime seating when I could have saved myself a couple of bucks considering how expensive movies are nowadays. So note to self, do not pay for prime seating, just get up and take it if that is their mentality.

It's a decent cinema, can certainly enjoy a film here. The D-Box seating is very comfortable, if a bit pricy. There are some issues with the D-Box though, that could perhaps be fixed. Avoid the far left row, near the back because the speakers will block a bit of the screen, and avoid the back row because it's only 1 step above the row in front, whereas every other row is a 2 step difference. The lighting for the buttons to change vibration strength are very bright too, they distract from the film. Would be nice if they could turn off when the film starts, and only light up if someone pressed one, people usually don't change it much anyway. The staff is very friendly though, and the crowds are generally respectful of the film etiquette.

My friend had a seizure during the film, no seizure warning before entering the film, after she took her seizure, a worker came in and threatened to kick us out. We sat there speechless as his lip quivered in fear and my friend seized, came out to talk to someone after the movie to find the place empty. Second of all it smelt like budussy in the theatre, not a welcoming environment. Will not be returning. Very unimpressed. My friend almost died.

Last time we were there the sound was so low you could not hear any of the preshow and the actual movie was very difficult to hear. Very unusual problem for theatre. Only about a dozen people in that theatre at the time. I was very disappointed at the response of management. They didn't seem to be concerned and never offered to refund or answer questions regarding is this always the way. Very reluctant to return. Have not had this problem before. My husband usually removes his hearing aid at the theatre as he finds it too loud. That time he couldn't hear with it in.

If you don't mind craziness on cheap night give it a go. Line up to get popcorn was a little crazy. Trying to get in the ticket line to get in the theater was crazy. People forget about personal space some Asian lady was screaming at her unruly brood of children kept hitting me in the head with her hair from behind me I guess that's why I don't go to the movies much. It appears they have changed their format in the lobby that may want to think about going back to using the ropes for more orderly line ups.

Tiny theatre with an aisle in the middle where the best seats should be. No reserved seating. No recliner seats. No Imax.

Great movie theater, the one I was in 3, definitely isn't as big as the one in Summerside Also, if you want to spoil yourself, go for the DBOX seating, its $22 per seat, but the chair shakes and vibrates and moves to the movie, great experience!
