Much better theater than Cineplex. Every seat is reserved and reclines! And the best part is probably bring able to buy snacks through the app and skipping the lineup, then of course the self serve soft drinks with flavor mashups.... Yea way better then Cineplex!

Visiting from out of town and told to go here for reclining seats and decided to "upgrade" to IMAX...whoops.... This is the ONLY theatre without those fancy reclining seats. So much for the IMAX upgrade. Alita Battle Angel was excellent.

This is our favorite movie theatre in Calgary. The recliner seats are a must as they are very comfortable. The lineups can be long but they have lots of open registers so it goes by pretty fast (maximum lineup time would be about 10 min). The Coke freestyle machine is great.

Got to love pre-reserved reclining seats that are comfy and spacious! The long-lines for the concession and the often broken pop machines are the downside BUT if you download the ATOMS app, you can preorder your food and drinks as well.

Since they added these new recliner seats, I try to come here for any movie I see. Combo that with the ability to pick your seats and it is seriously the best theatre in Calgary! They also have a great poo machine (if you drink pop) that allows you to pick not only whichever pop you want but then which flavor (if any) you would like to add! Great service from the staff, looks great, great seats, ability to pick your own seats... 5 stars!!

Love this Movie Theatre as it’s spacious. I'd say one of the best here in Calgary. My movie experience was really good, definitely better than Cineplex. Popcorn and snacks are pretty great as well but of course expensive. Staff were normal and average, answered my questions decently but cmon it’s a movie theatre who cares. Can't wait to see a movie here soon!!!

Watched a movie here on January 26 2018 in theater 16. Video was incredibly dim and one of the speakers kept "popping". Reclining seats are great but you're there for the entire experience. One of the constant complaints against theatres in Canada is that they do not replace their projection bulbs when it is recommended to do so by the manufacturer. Obviously, if it is not replaced, the video keeps getting dimmer and dimmer. The subs seemed non-existent as well for this show. Brought this to the attention to the manager on duty. Seemed to go in one ear and out the other. Was offered two free popcorn vouchers! These were of no interest to me. One goes to a movie theater to have a better visual and audio experience than one has at home. Absolutely not in this case. Very disappointing.

I love this Theatre! Bigger then shawnessy! The drinks fountain computer was AWSOME, lots of drinks and easy to get. When staff get your popcorn, they drop it on the floor, they step on it and don't clean up. The atom ticket works here. It was great to reserve and recline our seat! Staff was friendly. The theater was clean except the popcorn area.

Awesome theatre! Clean, comfy and efficient! The arcade games were great! None of them were broken and they have some cute prizes too. My fiancé and I always like to go early to play some games together so it's nice when they are all working. I like that you can order food online however they need a better food selection; they have a great candy and snack selection but they need burgers and stuff like Cineplex does now. However, I am definitely switching to Landmark for the important movies!

Normally the customer service is great. But on peak days expect extremely long and frustrating lines. Also, a lot of the old fun charm is gone now and instead it kinda has a hospital feel. That said, the recliner seats are awesome, and IMAX looks fantastic.

One of the best movie theater in Calgary. One can refill soda/pop and also large popcorn. All seats are reclinable. I think it's better to buy tickets in advance and using the atom app to get combos makes it easier and faster because there is a line dedicated to app users.

The only theatre I will go to in Calgary. You can reserve your reclining seats and not have to worry about getting their early for good seats. You don’t even have to worry about getting out of the way for others to pass by and get to their seat there is enough room between isles for easy foot traffic to flow by

The second best theater in town. Chairs are big and comfy. I did rankle a bit at waiting in a long concession line only to be given an empty cup and pointed towards a serve yourself soda line. They had quite a few machines but about 10 people in each line. Felt like way too long to get a beverage. The thing about folks getting their own soda with these fancy new machines, is that everyone spends a few moments looky-loo-ing about. Would have been much better/faster to just have kept the old system where the attendant has the sodas pouring as they're getting you the popcorn - no time wasted... The do it yourself machines... probably thought to be quicker and hipper - THEY ARE NOT!

Located at NE end of Calgary. Has 16 screens. The main hall needs maintenance and was not very clean. Auditorium was clean and well maintained. Seating could be more comfortable.

I want to like Landmark Cinemas but, the couple times I've visited this location, there's no parking and it's way too busy! I waited more than 10 minutes just for a beverage of the Coke Freestyle machines. Cineplex definitely has less variety but, their service is more quick and efficient. The lounge chairs in the theatre we're nice but, not good enough for me to go out of my way.

Landmark Cinemas is one of my favourite cinemas to go to as of recently. After a recent renovation the place has become much better. When you first walk in the place looks very slick, clean and modern, right in the middle is now where you get your tickets and food, it's a decent size and there are lots of registers which makes getting your stuff quick and easy. The service is also very good, they are quick and rarely make any sort of mistakes, one downside is that the surrounding areas are usually empty and a little dirty. The popcorn there is very good, it's light and fluffy, the butter is not too strong and they have a good selection of powders there to give it some extra flavour, it really enhances the movie experience, the one thing I absolutely love is the new soda machines which allow a variety of flavours, I love discovering new ones all the time. The seats are also comfortable, both the regular and the recliners are cozy, soft and spacious, the recliners also help out and make the experience more comfortable and you can easily focus on the movie. Overall this is a great cinema with good service and seats.

I went to this cinema for the first time with my family using my coupons ive been gifted before. We went to watch Christopher Robin and it was totally last minute and we paid for it with the seats we got.. or so we thought. The theater was small and was full execpt for the first 2 rows so we ended up in the second row to the front. But once we relaxed into the really comfortable and reclinable seats i was blown away. The food was good too but there were really long lines and not all the tills were open.

Love the new recliner chairs. They are extremely comfortable and there is a lot of room for people to walk without disrupting the people in their row. I also really like the new Atom app. You can buy your movie tickets and not have to go to the kiosk when you arrive to the theatre. You can also pre-purchace your concession items and pick these up without waiting in the large lines. I was a huge Silvercity customer because of the free movies that I could earn but find this experience at Landmark far out ranks "free"! There are many "Deals" that you can take advantage of as well.

This is the only theatre we go to anymore. It is always clean, at least that I've seen. The other guys might have loyalty points but this theatre has reserved recliner seating and free refills on flavor-shot pop.

A good theater. This was my first visit to a Landmark for Spiderman. I was happy with the reserved seating and reclining chairs. They are super comfy. Row E was a good spot to be able to sit and recline all the way. The concessions were quite busy, but that's to be expected on a Friday night. Thank you!

Haven't been here in years. Really impressed with the renovations. I love the open space and being able to reserve seats here. The seats are top notched, definitely recommend it. They should have a dedicated cleaning crew because the drink stations could use some clean up.

I really like the changes that Landmark has done with their seating. This theater has gone through so many changes and owners over the last little while that it’s sometimes hard to keep track. I wish the lobby area was a bit more interesting. However the theater itself is very nice.

Favourite theatre for sure. The Atom app is fantastic as you not only buy your tickets ahead and select seats, but choose your snacks and then when you are on your way they prepare everything so you simply pick up when you arrive to avoid the lines. Genius!

Very bad Theatre experience, date night was ruined. When we redeem our "a night out from Costco" at guest services they didn't tell me where to go to redeem our popcorn/drinks. This was our first time here, we were 30 mins early so we gave ourselves plenty of time. The big sign doesn't say it's for pick up only, it only reads what atom app is. And the small signs are too small while we were waiting in line we didn't even see the signs till it was too late. It should be higher up so people can see. Only people that have been here before would know. As you can see from my picture I attached to see my point. When I emailed the general manager, he just told me how they are the busiest theatre in Canada and how great their team is and how there is no way the wait time was what I said. I've been to Landmark back home in Winnipeg and our experience was not like this. It has been always positive at the one in Winnipeg. But with this recent experience, I would now go to another location or go to Cineplex.

My boy kept asking me to go to Landmark in stead of Cineplex. Interesting! So, I purchased a comb for two adults' admissions with two medium popcorns and drinks at about $29 from Costco. Surprisingly, the experience was fantastic! Very convenient location with sufficient parking spot, and the seating was a recliner!!!

Landmark is truly raising the standard for movie entertainment. The seats are large, comfortable, and they recline almost fully, middle arm rest raises up to form a couch to share with your date! Also, the space in front of the seats are so large that walking in front of other movie goers isn’t a difficult and awkward task. The prices are cheaper than the cineplex theatres AND the concession is WAY better. Landmark allows refills on large drinks and popcorn. I’ve been denied this twice at cineplex. The drinks are all customizable with various flavours. Staff are super friendly here. This place beats out cineplex every time.

Out of all of the large cinemas in Calgary the Landmarks is easily my favorite. They do a great job maintaining the place and providing good service. It's a huge plus that the people working there don't feel lifeless like the people at Cineplex Odeon. Love the soda machines and the super comfortable recliners.

Lean back. These are the most comfortable seats in any theatre I've been to. They also still sell PB m&ms unlike the distinguished competition. The only negative is the massive lineups for food. It goes fast but when you walk in its a major turn off.

Good theatre, one of the first theatres to get leather reclining seats which is honestly the only way to watch movies now. Doesn't do anything innovative to other movie theatres, concession is expensive and bathrooms are iffy. But for a theatre, it does it well.

Everyone knows Landmark popcorn is superior to Cineplex. Good stuff Landmark! Now, update the one in the south so I don't have to drive so far!!

Before, I used to watch movie at Cineplex. When I tried Landmark Cinema at Country Hills Village, I fell in love with it especially with their large and soft seats with reclining backs and extending footrests! I enjoy my movie every time I go there! Last time, our movie started 10 minutes late and when we were leaving the staff apologized and gave us free tickets to any movie! Great, right? To be honest, I didn't expect that because as usually I relaxed and enjoyed my movie in comfort. Thanks for the great, truly relaxing experience!

They have sofas to sit in while you watch the movie... It's cheaper than Cineplex. What else is there to say? Does it get busy? Yes, for damn good reason. But buy your tickets ahead of time, and you're good to go. Screw scene points, they barely rack up anymore unless you're with Scotiabank. Landmark 100%

If you're going to have reclining seats you need to figure out how to clean them. Our seats had gum on them, popcorn in every crevice and trash stuffed in all the cup holders. It was like a pig sty.

Service was good, but the place looks like it is starting to fall apart. We have been going since it opened and was always pretty great. This time it was dirty, the lines were very long as there wasn't enough staff. Both of our seats were broken, were reclined and would not move. There were no other seats so we had to deal with it. We will check theaters closer to us for next time.

We recently decided to try something differently and came here for the first time about a week ago. (We would always just go to Cinneplex). LOVE the new power recliners!! And the crazy amount of drink options are awesome. Plus they have reserved seating for all their screens! Overall a great Theatre and will probably go here a lot more now. The only things ww didnt really like was the lack of food options. And they're still currently in construction stage so there was no where to sit.

Went with the family and we ended up in the very front row, will NOT make that mistake again. why do they even have those seat even with the reclining chair it was not comfortable to sit that close to the screen. Don't get me wrong the reclining chairs are awesome but not that close to the screen.

The experience was amazing !! Loved the reclining chairs, so spacious and comfortable. The pop machines were different, the touch screen takes a little getting use to but lots of flavors. There is alot of self serve options, which is great if you don't like dealing with many people.

My favorite cinema in the city! Those power recliners are the best and even better for couples! The cup holders are well thought out. The popcorn is fantastic and we love the Coca Cola dispensers where we can create our own unique Coke product. They are the best value for a quality movie night!

Leather recliner seats make this theatre. Very enjoyable cinematic experience. New coca cola machines allow you to choose dozens of different pop flavours. Would recommend for anyone to go here at least once and it will become your favorite theatre. As a side note, during prime time movie hours such as sat/sun evenings you must arrive 20-30 minutes early if you want concessions as it gets very busy.

Aww man honestly this theatre is great, plays all the good movies, has good times and at a decent movie price. I have two things I don't like about landmark cinemas: (1) They have couple seats but I'm fricking single and (2) they don't sell Starburst candy <- which btw is a way better snack than popcorn. My happy place! I liked it the time they renovated tho the movie tickets increased. Parking is always full and during peak there are really long lines here. I was able to watch twice where the movie showing was interrupted like few minutes there was no sound at all but no apology or complimentary was given out to customers.

They were great with my son's hard of hearing/hearing aids. They supplied us with a little screen that he could read along with closed captioning. It was one of the first times my son enjoyed a movie that was not at home with closed captioning. It made his day.

Surely a good place for Indian movies. You can buy tickets through Costco in store and online, and it's pretty good deal with popcorn and drink. Seats are much better than Cineplex. Take your own blanket and you will have cozy experience.

The theatre itself is excellent with comfy reclining seats and overall clean appearance. l am deducting points for concession wait time: we waited over 20 minutes in line today and missed the beginning of our movie as a result. We have had similar wait times the few other times we went in the past so this is not an isolated experience. The inefficiency is especially confusing considering that the staff are simply filling bags of popcorn and giving you an empty drink cup to self serve (at yet another time consuming line up).

Under construction at the moment and when that's done 5/5. Experience the motorized seats and the flavored drink dispensers simple amazing. The drink dispenser, being able to add all kinds of fruit flavors to even calorie free soda such a treat. The motorized reclining seats, we didn't purchase our tickets a head of time so unfortunately ended sitting second row in the assigned seating but because of the recliners it was still a very enjoyable viewing. Landmark is a little further away for us but we will be making it up here again soon.

Great movie theatre all around I prefer it over cineplex any day. I was a bit annoyed when I went to see a movie last night at 9:50 and went to get a refill around 10:30 and was told they’re shutting their popcorn machines down so I couldn’t. Not really fair for the people that prefer late movies.

Probably one of the best theatres to watch a movie. The seats are all leather loungers that recline and give you lots of space for you and a guest. The price is very reasonable too. I would drive to this location over other theatres based on the seats. Every seat in the house is good. Just make sure to reserve in advance online.

Large theatre with reclining leather loveseats. Parking can be difficult to find in peak hours and may have to park further away. Uses the Atom app to allow for advance booking of tickets and concessions, and customers can scan their ticket directly at the entry wicket. Relatively new renovations make the theatre look fresh and clean.

Was here recently. My wife and I purchased tickets online and realized we were going to be unable to make the movie. So we showed up before movie to get a refund, however there was an altercation before our arrival and pepperspray was used and no one was allowed in. So I was unable to get a refund at that time, but we had also purchase tickets for a much later movie time as well. So we came back later and without any hassle the gave us our monet back for the original movie plus a voucher, because of the original hassle. Best movie theaters around.

Awesome after renovations. Recliner seats are comfortable and well worth the money for being able to pre-reserve your seats. If you're inclined to do so, I use the Atom App they run for pre-buying tickets and concessions (you get a special line for concessions if you buy through the App) which is good, because the lineup for concessions gets pretty long.

After coming to this place about 6 months ago I can't go back to the crappy chairs from cineplex. I tried it once but I was uncomfortable watching a 2 hour movie. Now the full recliners with extra room are just way too nice, with extra leg room so you don't get kicked in the headrest and spacious cup holders is hard to give this place anything but a 5 star rating.

Was a bit run down a while ago but the owners have been revamping things. Generally not too busy so you can usually get into the movie you want. But like a lot of theatres they are relying more and more on reserved seating purchases so it's best to plan ahead.

A friend at work has been raving about this theatre for months, and I thought it was all just silly hype. I saw my first movie here last week, and wow... I will NEVER GO TO ANOTHER THEATRE AGAIN!!! I am a convert! :) The recliners are all set up to give you a perfect view of the screen and there is plenty of room in front for people to walk past while they are fully reclined. The armrest between the seats folds back up behind the seat so you can create a little loveseat for your family members and spouse to cuddle up. The distance between your seat and the one behind you means nobody will kick your seat all movie ever again. The popcorn just tasted better. The crazy drink mixing dispenser machines were a neat gimmick, and really steps up the options for people. Take a blanket to curl up with, and it'll feel just like a lazy movie at home, but with better sound and a giant screen. I used to think that movie theatres were going to be replaced by Netflix and the very decent experience of just watching a movie at home. Now I think theatres are here to stay, especially if more of them do what Landmark has done here!

The seats are comfy and they sanitize the auditoriums between showings since the pandemic started. There's usually very few people around and no time spent waiting.

Best place to watch movies. I highly recommend that you download the atom app, it will allow you to skip the line for consession as well. The seats are huge and comfortable. All the theaters have reclined and reserved seating which is a huge bonus as you dont have to run in to find a spot to sit when popular movies are playing. The arcade is expensive but fun for the kids! We never go anywhere else for movies!

The place was spotlessly clean, they got the best reclining seats, concession lines moved quickly and efficiently. The Coca Cola Remix machine has got amazing flavors of soda that most places don't. Staff are professional and friendly. My favourite theater in the city!!!! The only downside is the arcade is small but I dont go to the theater for the arcade; I go for the movie experience and this place has got it perfected.

I had a really bad experience when I came to the movies this evening. I bought my tickets through Costco, which includes 2 tickets, 2 popcorns, and 2 sodas. I booked my seats online by redeeming my Costco coupon. I assumed that by redeing my coupons online there would be a record of what I paid for. However upon arriving I was told that I could only have access to the movie but not the food. The physical coupon has to be brought in to get the food. After speaking to management, they would not honour my purchase and insinuated that I was trying to get free food. I feel insulted and wonder how I can enjoy the movie now. TLDR: Poor customer service because of "the rules are the rules" style service and the manager flexing his power.

Other than the door only being opened 10 mins before my movie and having 2 special needs clients with us, who take a fair bit of time to get organized. Everything else was great. We had the entire theater to ourselves. We got the food quickly, seats were comfy. If you are one that is worried about other humans being sick. ( I'm not) there were dividers between every second set of chairs. Date nights would be even more ideal, you can steal more kisses. If you go with the kids, they can feel like you are not there. Its a cool idea.

While the seats are comfortable, 1.5 hour wait to get popcorn and drinks (line up out the door), and another line to even get in to the theatre. This may be the place to go on a weeknight/when it is slow, but under no circumstances would I go here during a weekend or major movie opening. Don't bother going if you intend to get drinks or popcorn either, as mentioned above the line will make you miss your movie. Not sure if it is low staffing or just terrible design of the theatre, but absolutely brutal. While cineplex may not have as nice seats, I will always choose Cineplex over this place for the simple fact that lines actually move.

I don't understand why they said that there were only certain seats available then when we went in, there were lots of seats free? Were they broken? And their menu was not updated to their products in concession (eg. Frozen yogurt price, availability and explain how it is served, maybe train their staff better?) but other than those oddities, the experience was satisfactory. I like there is one concession line that splits out at the front, ensuring first come first serve.

Hands down best cinema in Calgary. The recliner seats are designed like love seats with a middle arm rest that can be raised. No need to share arm rests or cup holders. Lots of movie times, including mornings for a discount. Freestyle Coke machines to pick your flavours and free refills. Refills on large popcorns as well. Ample parking available. Costco vouchers are a great deal and can be used online to book your seats ahead of time.

Great selection of movies and showtimes. Food items are pricey, I wish they had better deals on them like they do for Tuesday movies. Arcade is decent but not something I would visit for exclusively. The floors of the theatres themselves could be cleaner. All in all, if you're looking for a good place to watch movies, this is it.

I love this theatre! Great deals on a Tuesday (for a movie). As with any theatre, WAY over priced on popcorn, pop and anything! (But that is how they make money...) I recommend downloading the landmark app (don't remember what it is called) and book/pay before you get there. There is never anyone at the customer service desk. (They rely on self-check too much) The reclining seats are AWESOME!

The recliner seats made the experience very relaxing. However, the concession didn't have a very good selection. There was not much food to choose from only nachos, pretzel, hot dog and pretzel dog. They could use some pizza, chicken strips, or even corndog. If 7-11 can do it so can they. For the food they did have it was not the best. The popcorn for both my wife and I had lots of broken small kernels.it was almost as if the scooped from the middle breaking the popcorn with every scoop.the pretzel was doughey and the hot dog but was crunchy on the end. I consider this to be one of the best theatres in Calgary. Extremely comfortable recliner seats offer ample leg space while still providing plenty of walk room for others in the audience. Consession lines are usually pretty quick. Self-serve fountain drink machines are provided for free refills throughout your visit. Theatre seats and bathrooms are kept clean and well-maintained. I recommend all movie-goers visit this location for a good experience.

This has to be one of the Best theaters in Calgary. The remaining seats are very comfortable not crowded, no one kicking your seat. The concession is expensive but standard as far as movie theaters go. They have the pop machines with many selections of flavours and options ton goose from. Parking and accessibility are decent. Then you notice a HUGE gaming area with games so fun..you almost miss the movie playing ...then you notice that the pop machines are self serve ..and refillable...bonus - the fountain drinks to choose from are OUTSTANDING...over 300 type's to pick from...then you come to the counter to grab treats...cotton candy...popcorn..choc..food...all are large...extra large..we always take ours home for the kids. Then you are greeting nicely by the ticket takers..they are fast fair and always help when you need it. Large clean bathrooms to the sides of the hallway...down further are the Theaters. Once you find your seat...you will be smiling because each row has room...each seat is separate..the seats are amazing! You are very comfortable! The chairs all come with a pkace to put your drinks or treats...there are highchair type add on that fit snugly to the chair for children saftey..they can see the movie better..and are cozy and happy. There's great quality of the movies shown here..big screens. Air conditioner...always clean. I would travel accross the city just to have this cinema. Highly recommended! ***** ????

My only complaint is that every time I’ve been there, they’ve either played the wrong movie, started it very late, or just not played it at all because of technical difficulties. The leather recliner seats in Screen 7, with the ability to reserve a specific seat ahead of time, are always a great joy. A warning for those with scent sensitivities, though--the seats pick up perfume and cologne smells which rub off onto your clothing. My wife has strong sensitivities to these things and I always need to change my clothes as soon as I get home from this theatre. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of!

This theatre has been my go-to when it comes to films since its renovation and partnership with the Atom app. The reclining seats are so much more comfortable compared to Cineplex's. Even their IMAX seats are better. The prices are also very cheap compared to Cineplex and using the Atom app can occasionally net you some promos. Also with the app, you can essentially skip the line at concessions if you've placed food on your ticket order.

Leather recliners, reserved seating, and discounted Tuesday tickets... what more could you ask for from a movie theatre!? The facility is always clean and the hired staff are always from diverse backgrounds. Movie theatre food is always expensive, but its good to enjoy yourself once in a while! Anyone who wants to watch a movie comfortably, definitely go to Landmark Cinemas. Just remember, don't recline the seat too far or you might end up falling asleep and missing the movie entirely.

I can't say enough good things about the Landmark movie theatre located in CountryHills NE. The renovations are fabulous. They now have La-Z-Boy style reclining seats no one is able to kick the back of your seat or have their arm over hang onto your space. You are now able to book your seat online before you go to the theatre, so you know exactly where you are sitting and let me tell you there is not a bad seat in the house. I also love the new Atom app. it makes booking your movie so much easier. Last but not least, the landmark theatre staff is amazing and goes over and above to make their guests have the best movie experience ever.

It shows how great a movie theater is if I drive all the way across the city to see a film there. Love that the whole experience is app based. Just recommend that if you purchase concessions through the app, make sure you have everything bought. You'll have to go in the line if you're needing anything additional.

So we had bought tickets through atom but I had accidently got them for the wrong day. The manager totally understood and got is a refund for the others and we were able to see the movie. Using atom really is the way to go we got our own private line up for concession and were through right away. Oh also the prices are the same as the Cineplex but I get to sit in a recliner!!!!

This location now boasts having recliners in almost all of their theatres (supposed to be all by spring 2016). They also now have pop dispensers that let you choose and mix your own drinks from cherry or lime Coke to HiC or some other concoction of your choice. It certainly makes the experience more interesting.

But extra butter popcorn means 2.00 dollars more which I didn't know and it was dripping everywhere for the whole movie not just my bag but others as well and I mean through the bag all over everything there wasn't enough napkins in holders little lone to clean up the seats my clothes literally left my popcorn there unfortunately nothing I could do with the mess of it. The large pop the lids Do Not stay on so choked tbh. Literally will never get fountain pop again over that and sad because there are tons of flavors to choose from. Overall great but those issues should be addressed thicker bags so that butter doesn't drip everywhere and different cups or lids whichever and it would be a total 5 star for me. Crossing my fingers that my brand new hoodie comes clean ????

There are recliner seats in every one of their theatres. Unlike Cineplex where you have to pay extra for every little thing, there is no charge at Landmark to pick your seat or have a reclining chair. Lots of leg room and recliners are super comfy and spacious. The lobby area is clean and spacious. The line up for concession is super organized. The beverage dispenser area could be cleaned more often, but its great that you can get refills, that's a big bonus, you would never find that at a Cineplex theatre. Great place for movies for the whole family.

I have went to this location multiple times when it was first called studio 16, and to now being called landmark cinemas 16. Before the place was empty, and the prices were over the top nonsense. But now a transition shows to have both a positive impact on those planning on wanting a movie, and the owner of the place making that cash $$! I am giving this place a 2 star for multiple reasons. In the entrance of the place you can see many teenagers smoking and chatting, and most of the times its usually cursing. If possible I would like them to do something about that, make it more of a kid friendly environment, and not targeting teenagers. When you enter the place it is very messy, popcorn everywhere and mess in the gaming area. The wore is yet to come, the prices. Oh lee poo are the prices downright ridiculous, popcorn for like $13 with a drink, are you serious right now. Now heading to the vending machines you can clearly see the manipulation done to the prices, water for $4??? How much money do they want to exploit these people. Overall, not a good experience and I will just probably watch movies online like a smart and cheap affordable date with me and my girlfriend.

Every seat in every theatre is now reserved, so there's no need to line up before a popular show, and no individuals "saving" the best row of seats by stretching a jacket across them. All seats are cushy, wide, power-reclining armchairs. Actually every pair of seats doubles as a loveseat, and the middle arm can be raised out of the way for snuggling. Just make sure that if you're booking for 2, you actually choose an attached pair rather than 1 seat from each of 2 loveseats. On top of all this, there are great deals available, for example Morning Movies (40% off tickets before noon); Kid's Packs on Sundays (movie ticket + drink + popcorn + treat for $12.50); Movie Twosome on Wednesdays (2 tickets + 2 medium drinks + large popcorn + candy for $30).

You can use the Atom app to get expedited service, you can book online and pick your seats, they have an Imax theatre and also have big lazy boy like recliners in all the other theatres. It's a great place to watch a movie with loads of nearby parking.

First time here, new favorite theater in town vs cinaplex. They charge a regular $13 for admission but you get the most amazing recliner leather chairs!!! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the hallways after leaving the theater were absolutely filthy. You are either open or closed…..the pandemic has been going on for almost 2 years. You can’t use it as a constant excuse for running out of pop, food and basic parts of the movie going experience. If you want customers back, respect them and their money. Also….unless you are giving discounts to the movies that start later at night the experience should be exactly the same. The staff at this location are more focused on closing down and finishing for the night than ensuring the guests have a good experience. The concession shouldn’t be closed until the last movie starts. Common sense.

Had the worst customer experience ever.. we hought the costco viucher for movie and meal for the kid and redeemed it online. No where in the online voucher it says that u have to bring it in to redeem again. The voucher online clearly says kids movie pack and its inclusive of a popcorn and drink.. when we reached the theatre they said that there system only recognizes admision but not the food.. we asked the manager to show us the fineprint and they refused. I asked them to charge us but refund later since the movie already started.. they refused... and to add to it when we asked for a recorded conversation to be presented tk the corporate headoffice they refused and said that its a rude request.. a person who has to hide will refuse this... literraly the worst customer experience ever

This is nowhere near the same theatre you remember from 10 years ago. Looks very modern, NO CARPET ANYWHERE, and big comfortable leather reclining seats for the same price as a general ticket at Cineplex. What's not to love! My only complaint is that there's always only 2 maybe 3 of the 10 drink dispensers working at any given time. Why even invest in 10 if you won't use them? I had to find something to complain about for what is probably the nicest cinema in town ;)

This theatre is very modern and the integration with the atom mobile ticketing app makes it extremely easy to book tickets and food. Even exchanging or cancelling tickets is painless as it can all be done on the go via the app. It has a great, guest friendly layout and offers seating for those who need to sit down or wait before they enter the auditorium. Free refills on a large variety of drinks is also offered. The recliner seats are very comfortable and the IMAX experience is unrivalled. However, the food and popcorn aren’t as great as Cineplex’s offerings, but the overall cinematic viewing experience is excellent and hard to beat.

However when I had an online glitch occur when attempting to purchase tickets on the website, I called and was treated with disrespect by an individual named "Mr. Campbell" in guest services. Always a great experience at this theater. I chose to get movie tickets from Costco which is a deal for just over 30 bucks you get 2 movie admin, 2popcorn and 2 fountain drinks. There is a little added fee for 3d movies far as I'm aware but my friend and I had an awesome time all for under 40 bucks.

The seats in the theater are very comfortable and make for a better movie going experience. I also enjoy the fact that their pop machines have so much variety and i am not stuck with the same 5 or 6 options everytime. The atom app to buy the tickets is very fast and easy to use. It is helpful to be able to buy the tickets and choose your seats at the same time. One thing they could improve upon is having more cashier coverage on the weekends. Aside from that , this is definitely my favorite theater.

Awesome place. They have updated all of the theaters with recliner seats and they are also leather. The IMAX is the only theaters here that don't have leather seats. When we go we always stop at Costco and get the movie passes it's $22.99 or 2 admissions 2 drinks and 2 popcorn it's an absolutely amazing deal.

This is one of the best places to watch a movie in Calgary. Prices are very fair for first run popular movies and the seats are excellent. Actual recliners in a number of the theaters. The popcorn is always fresh with real butter and you can also get a number of different snacks. If you prefer to not pay for butter on your popcorn, they have a buttery substitute that you can put on yourself for free. The softdrink selection is incredible with the latest fancy dispensers. There's even an IMax cinema in the building and the sound and video is fantastic. One of the best bangs for your buck around.

Seems to be continuously under construction with little signs of progress. The employees pick poor times to shutdown all the custom pop machines for cleaning leaving few or one open. And the last time I went my imax glasses were very poorly cleaned if at all, though I managed to clean them myself. That being said recliner seating with huge amounts of room in the actual theaters. Eventually whenever they finish the remodel next decade the place will be very nice. The custom pop machines though often down for service or with long lineups are a neat feature. And landmark still does free refills on large popcorn. All of these things combined makes up for its faults and is why I no longer go to cineplex if I have the choice.

Went to see Spiderman on the weekend. Average movie experience, the seats are nice, wide, and reclining for the same price as as non recliner chairs elsewhere, however nothing is cleaned, washrooms are a mess and our chairs had tons of popcorn and melted chocolate still lying on it. Seems their communication between workers isn't good either, ticket worker had to ask 4 times if our theatre was cleaned on the walkie and still no one replied. Tech is also buggy, couldn't scan my movie tickets after 10 attempts, finally had to go through and validate the email (had to do this twice cause I went to get popcorn after). Pop machines were also a lot to be desired, most were out of all the flavors, you could get coke orange but not classic coke, which didn't really make sense since the flavor I'm sure is added while pouring. We went to 4 different machines, all had this problem, so had to settle with cherry coke and sprite. Later, on refills (which is a nice plus I must admit), 3 of the machines were locked with a password which meant there was a huge line for the remaining 4. Would only go again if I have coupons, cause it's the closest landmark to me. Maybe post-covid it will improve.

Most theaters at this location use extremely comfortable reclining seats with a middle armrest that can be lifted to make a love seat. The food is also quite good and they have self serve CokaCola Freestyle machines for a wide selection of drinks. Overall, this is my favorite theater in Calgary.

We went in to watch the long awaited Lion King. What better place to watch it than at Landmark Cinemas! From buying the tickets, getting the snacks and finally settling down to watch the movie, the excitement and experience was awesome! The picture quality was beautiful and sitting together as a family to watch the movie brought back such sweet memories.

This is the new bar that cinemas should be held to. Crazy comfy seats, great AV and affordable ticket and concession prices. Only fault I have noticed is the parking at the north location is garbage but that's minor when there are plenty of nearby shops to stop at once you've found a parking space. The ATOM app is really great too. I haven't found any kind of incentive/partnership program from Landmark yet though. If you come across one, let me know as I would love to have an easy way to earn free movies here.

Country hills is the best movie theatre. Every single seat is the super comfy reclining kind with plenty of leg room for the foot rest. Seats are reserved so you don't have to worry about getting their early if you've bought tickets ahead of time. The theatre is always clean by movie theatre standards. Be warned, it sometimes gets very busy. I recommend getting tickets ahead of time, particularly on weekends and if the movie you're seeing was recently released.

I don't really think the front row should be sold, or done so at a discounted price. It was a special occasion or I wouldn't have taken my grandsons to Rogue One because nothing was left but the front row, but even my 13 year old grandson had a headache by the end. My recommendation is, if no seats are left except the front row, go another time. It was uncomfortable and impossible to get a good feel for the movie from that perspective.

We pre-ordered a large popcorn with 2 medium drinks and a kitkat bites pack. When we got to the theatre, they didn't have the soda machines working and we were given an option for bottled coke, sprite or water and there was no option for diet drinks. I used to love this place when they first got the recliners, but now, I'm not sure why, I find them truly uncomfortable, not to mention that some of them don't work properly anymore. We just came back from seeing John Wick and my husband's seat would not work at all. Also, they wait way too long to have previews and stuff. I think it might be time to go back to Cineplex, especially now that they have recliners too.

There are little things here and there that may or may not be better than other theaters, but to me the most important thing about going out to the theaters, is comfort. And these reclining seats with tonnes of room all around you, is amazing. The seats are paired, and the armrest thats in the middle of each pair can be raised out of the way. Even when this place is packed the concession line usually moves really fast. I love the recliner seats, I used to dislike seeing movies in the theater because of cramped seating and having my chair kicked by people behind me or hearing people talk but I don't have those distractions anymore. My only complaint is on my last visit the theater was filthy. It was 10pm at night and there was trash everywhere. All the cans were overflowing and there was popcorn bags and cups piled up on the floor everywhere. The best theatre in the city. My review is not based on one visit but several good experiences. Will drive across the city to enjoy the experience here. The reclining seats are very comfortable and the perfect way to complement a good movie (wish the Shawnessy location would get these comfy seats as well). Love the fact you can reserve seats in advance. Only downside, can get very busy though, especially the concession area.

Fantastic! Hadn't been there in a while, and went to see a movie with the family on the weekend. They'd renovated the theater we were in with full-on recliners. Now that's a comfortable way to see a movie! I'm bringing a blanket, next time; seriously. The only drawback is that tickets are a little harder to get as there are less seats in the theater. The new foyer decor is a little spartan, but we still had a great time!!

The experience has gotten much better since they introduced the new seating not to mention the customizable combos. Prices are still way too high for movies in general hence why when I do decide to pay full price I would rather give my money to Landmark. The Atom app that they use to book seats, buy combos, etc. is also supremely good.

Now that everything is being done online there's hardly any lineups. Or at least there weren't last night. However they could use a little bit more cleaning staff. At one point my hand slipped between the seats and the cushions and it was kind of dirty. Attention to details like that need to be done on a regular basis. But other than that great great great movie theater. So much better than Cineplex

Love the Theater seating with reclining chairs that are loveseat style for you and your special someone or you and the kiddos but the lineups are very very very long. Even if you buy your tickets in advance like we do from Costco you still have to wait in a line that's 20 plus minutes to get your popcorn or other treats then you have to get in line to fill up your Beverages and that can be another 10 minutes so make sure you give yourself lots of time ...even with your seats already being selected lol.

This theatre has a coke freestyle machine, which is pretty cool drinking a diet vanilla Coke with a splash of cherry cola. Not much else going on this theatre, they have recliner seats but they're older. I went and saw Infinity War there with some friends but we got seats real close to the screen and off to the side, which wasn't ideal but I don't blame landmark.

Oh man. The reclining love seats are the best in the city. The flavour shots in the pop help to make things just the way you like it. Butter does cost extra, but that's normal now a days. The concession stand is always busy, but it is more organized and civil compared to other theatres.

Overall one of the best theatres in Calgary. Plentiful parking space, excellent seating experience with recliners and large spacious auditoriums. Great selection of movies at all times with a nice balance of blockbuster and indie. Video and sound quality are both great in even the smaller rooms. Interior is kept quite clean with a lot of food choices as well as a few Coca Cola machines to self serve from (outside of Covid-19). There is also a decently sized arcade area. The movie-going experience is very pleasant in general. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to this place since before the update. Definitely love the update other than you HAVE to preorder tickets or else you won’t get a seat. Every time I’ve gone since the renovation there’s no seats left or only the very front row. But other than that, love the beverage machine you can get so many flavours for different drinks, the recliner seats are super comfy. The butter machines don’t really work and there’s often not any parking left and have to park pretty far out. The staff are usually pretty friendly and area is clean. Never had an issue with the food either. Wish more movie theatres had the recliner seats and were more like landmark!

Noticed the brightness on these theaters on standard tickets are dimmer on some show times. Watched same movie twice (Eternals) on different days and brightness have different settings??? Can't even see the background anymore? Movies were made with hightech cameras etc. very expensive budgets and yet Landmark Cinema is not using correct settings each movie time!

Cleanliness was a bit low, as I had an entire cupholder filled with sugar, but the reclining seats are amazingly comfortable and spacious. Although the amount of seats are lower, it's worth it for the comfort. Book early though, unless your going on a weekday, as the good seats get taken quick. As for the food, it was pretty good, even though it's brand name food. The new fresh baked cookies are definitely worth it though, they were soft and extra delicious.

This is my go to spot for movies. Make sure to download the Atom app so you can pre order your food and use the express line. No waiting! Of course the best part is the recliner chairs. Pro tip: The smaller theatres generally have full recline instead of just the 3/4.

Nice and big, every time I go they have no tickets left for movies. Must be great. But the show times are very dispersed and the selections is minimum. Stood waiting for Someone to help get tickets. There's also alot of homeless people pain handling outside and coming in and taking stuff. Should keep an eye out for stuff like that.

Newly renovated theatre. All the theatres (except for the IMAX) have full leather recliners. Makes for a very comfortable experience watching movies, and you don't feel crammed next to the person beside you. Staff is friendly, and the concession service is pretty fast as there are enough employees to keep the line moving quickly.

I went to this movie on December 29 2021 . The movie says its in CC so I ask a young guy who is close to customer service if I can get a closed caption he went to get it and gave it to me and I told him what theater im in and he just gave to me he had NO CLUE what to do so I went to the theater and see if I can figure it out myself and it does not work does not turn on, nothing! So I went back as the ticket taker if I can another one and she got me a older man I believe is the manager so he said the one I had is dead and went to grab another one he gave me and turn it on and it does NOT work at all during the movie so I had to watch the movie without closed caption. So any of those people who need closed caption for this movie theater. DO NOT GO TO LANDMARK IN COUNTRY HILLS ! Its not worth it when you dont know what is going on thru the whole movie. Will not return to this theater !

Their popcorn is now dairy free!! Unlike Cineplex they do not use those flavor packets that contain dairy when they pop the corn. It is nice to have popcorn again at the movies. We also enjoy the fast service and recliner seating.

This is by far the best theatre in the city. It's been recently renovated, so everything is new and relatively clean (by movie theatre standards). The best part is that there are far fewer seats in each theatre now, because each seat has been made double-wide, and all of the seats are power-reclining. All theatres have reserved seating, which means the days of waiting in line for a busy movie are behind you, and concessions can be ordered in advance using the Atom app, and will be ready when you get there. I stopped going to movies for a while because they were such a pain, but now we go several times a month because it's such an awesome experience!

I usually love going to the movies but I dont like sitting in other people garbage for the whole movie. We got there a half hour early and the theatre still hadn't been cleaned. I was thinking maybe they would be doing it in the next little bit but no. I went and asked someone at about 20 minutes till the movie why it had not been cleaned yet and didn't really get a response. They had them come and try to clean but because the theatre was already pretty much full they decided to just leave it and not ask everyone to leave so they can clean. So whole movie sitting in garbage. Not impressed and will likely not come back if I have to sit in garbage

Parking is a bit crowded but the lots are pretty small, love how friendly the staff are and I would highly recommend this place for their comfy recliner seats. Haven’t really tried alot of food here but its decent for a movie theatre. Would be something they could improve on though.

Best reclining seats in Calgary with lots of space for you & your family on the couch and the people around you. If someone sitting next to you decide to walk in the middle of the movie you don't have to adjust your seat or ur sitting position if you are average height person plus if some one stands won't block much of your view of the screen Use Atom app to buy Popcorn & drinks as you don't have to wait in line or queue. Better chairs than Cineplex, they fully recline and have large arm rests. Also better sized drinks for less money than Cineplex, and they have self serve soda machines with customizable flavors. We live right next to a Cineplex but drove farther to meet a friend at the Landmark near their house instead, and now we're heavily considering making the drive from now on when we want to see something new. Definitely worth the extra travel time.

Recliner seats have changed the way we watch movies. We hardly even bother with any other theatre since it seems like a major downgrade. The prices for drinks and food is also pretty good compared to other places. Refills too. Even the Cineplex at Sunridge can’t compare with their version of the recliners, which are squished together.

Overall one of the best theaters in Calgary. They could use some work on their layout and business process and there is usually a long line for concessions. Not all of the ticketing machines work, but that isn't usually where the bottle neck is. The actual auditoriums are very nice when new recliners. The overall experience is much better than offerings from Cineplex. There are less seats per auditorium and not many "bad seats" in the house as there is a lot of space for everyone.

Before, I used to watch movie at Cineplex. When I tried Landmark Cinema at Country Hills Village, I fell in love with it especially with their large and soft seats with reclining backs and extending footrests! I enjoy my movie every time I go there! Last time, our movie started 10 minutes late and when we were leaving the staff apologized and gave us free tickets to any movie! Great, right? To be honest, I didn't expect that because as usually I relaxed and enjoyed my movie in comfort. Thanks for the great, truly relaxing experience!

I have taken my kids to many theatres and this one is the best. The Reclining seats are awesome, and the Sound system is perfect. You have lots of room to sit and enjoy the movie with your popcorn and drink. Fun for family. The only feedback I have is, I wish they would clean the seats better as sometimes there is butter on the seats from the popcorn.

On the downside, the interior lobby is sparse to say the least and on the day I went, March 25, overflowing with garbage. I really like this cinema for the comfy seats and wide selection of snacks and drinks. Something I really enjoyed during covid was when they played classic or well-loved movies. My sister and I came to several viewings of the older movies, and I honestly enjoyed it more than the gamble and often disappointment of the newer films. Love this theatre. Pleased with the staff. One particular staff fell short of their service level but one of the other staff members noticed my frustration and quickly compensated without putting her team member down and satisfying me with my need. They have comfy seating and keep things clean. Only down side is one of the rows in the recliners ends up with a bar in the way but now that I know about it I won't be choosing that row again. Great theatre. They often do fan events for major releases. Worth the price!

Landmark is great, the seating WOW. Super spaced out and huge recliners in every row. I used to not take the middle as it was hard to get out if need be and people moving their legs and people sitting in front of you, not here people in front of you are so far down and the walking space is massive to walk out of a row. When we visited the theater in the late afternoon today, the guys at the atom concession pick up area were very rude! They have very little customer service skills because they just gave us our popcorn and gave us a dirty look and left. They really need to hire friendlier staff here!

The seat reservation system is great, there is no guessing where your going sit and seats located in "ideal viewing" locations don't cost more like another large cinema chain *cough, cough Cin*plex. I would recommend booking tickets the day before to get your prefered seats. Snacks are moderately priced and the option of buying a small candy bar is a nice alternative instead of a $6, 2000 calorie bag of sugar.

Excellent theatre. The Atom app makes buying tickets and concessions super easy. The reclining leather love seats are fantastic and good for cuddling. Only issue is how far back they recline (and therefore cuddle ease) depends on which auditorium you're in. But even at its worst its better than its competitors seats.

My family's favorite theater. It's as "clean" as you would expect any movie theater to be... The double wide power recliners are great, pop machines definitely save on line time and they are constantly changing or adding something new to the experience. Line ups are reasonable every time, I have never been told that the show we are planning to see is sold out before we get our tickets.

This is a great theatre - it's much larger and cleaner than any Cineplex I've visited. Make sure you book tickets for an auditorium with recliner seats; it'll make your viewing experience much more comfortable! Unfortunately, this theatre is almost always packed, which makes it difficult to find tickets for popular movies within a few days of their release. The small size of (some) auditoriums exacerbates this problem. Book tickets well in advance!

This place is so great! I get the special passes from coop and its the same deal they would give you on a wednesday night! Its comfy, clean and I haven't experienced sticky theater floors! I love using the Atom App because I can book my tickets ahead of time and even pick up my snacks without having to wait in a long line (totally worth it if you like cutting it close to show time.).

I am seriously just completely spoiled by this theatre, I can't hardly stand the thought of having to go to a cineplex after coming here. The recliner seats... OMG!!! The fact they are the same price as a regular seat.. even more OMG!!!!!! They are sooo comfy. The prices here are awesome. 2 large popcorn, 2 large drinks, which by the way are like... HUGE!! Plus you get to use their cool pop machine and they have so many options, including caffeine free ones!!, and a candy for 25 bucks is a steal honestly! Free refills yay. Landmark is seriously leading the way for what people want from theatres. Good staff, fair prices and good value.

I went and sat in Theater 9 Sept 2020 and the recliner seats have changed and don't recline as far as they used to and unfortunately are less comfortable. Bought tickets for 10 cloverfield lane today, but when they got there the showing was cancelled due to equipment failure. We talked to a friendly manager who gave us tickets to see cloverfield on a future date and told us we could watch any other movie while we there. Good place but not like earlier it used to be "Studio 16". Understaff on the counters. Their box office was closed leaving the ticket dispensing (specifically when you have a coupon - which can't be used at the automatic ticket kiosk) on the mercy of the understaffed snack kiosks where there is always line up for the food specially when it's under-staffed. If this continues, we would switch to Cineplex rather than Landmark locations.

I have been twice to the country hills landmark location and is unbelievable how they don’t check tickets which allows a lot of people to sit in the empty seats left for social distancing, there is no one checking that seats has been left empty and people without tickets just sit on it, right in the next seat. I understand that they are understaffed, but if they cannot maintain the social distancing rules, they should close, I paid full price for a movie, I should get some sort of services and safety with it . I won’t comeback and I will report to AHS. The only reason that I went it was because the app atom details about of their empty seats in between customers. I want to support businesses , but not at my own health risk

The drink dispensers are the stupidest things I have ever seen. The idea of line up, select your drink and then dispense works in theory, but the machines need four staff members running between them to reboot them every five drinks which has made us late for movies every time. Fix it or let us bring our own drinks in!

Large movie theatre that never gets full. The double entrances is hilarious. It has a newly renovated concession area which I have yet to see or experience. But the reclining seats and insane amount of legroom per row is glorious - no chair kicking! They also have Coke FreeStyle which is where you can mix a whole bunch of drinks together or do whatever you want. The management team is pretty cool too.

In the winter we purchased tickets in Atom. Movies were cancelled due to power outage. Stuff happens, I get it. We are issued blue admission tickets as we were trying to see The Avengers. We tried to use the tickets a few months later and that's when we found out they are only good for Disney, Marvel etc... We weren't told that when we recieved them but fine, we will use them later. Tried again today for Spiderman and were told no because Sony produced the film. Are you kidding me???? It's Marvel. Am I as a customer supposed to know the ins and outs of productions. My ticket says good for Marvel with no exclusion of Sony productions. So twice I've tried to use these tickets and twice I've been told no. How much longer are you going to keep my $42 hostage. In the real world of customer service, the manager should have taken my tickets, issued three passes for the movie and apologized for the inconveniences I've experienced. I don't care about deals and rules with production companies, Disney, Marvel etc. I shouldn't have to. I realize you don't need my business as people will always go to the movies and you don't need my $100 a month to survive so I won't threaten to not come back. Let face it, it's my favorite theatre. I just get the feeling you have lost the customer service aspect. I know what I'm talking about, I have been a retail manager for over 25 years. You guys need to get it figured out. It would have cost you nothing to make me and my family happy today.

Dont waste the money on imax! Recliners in regular theatres are better than the imax. Clearly the reason anyone bought these seats for more money was because it was a holiday and the regular theatre seats were sold out. That's the only reason we bought them.

This is the only theater I go to now. The reclining seats, the uncrowded theaters, make this an ideal location to take children during the early evening or afternoon. If you buy your tickets from Costco, then it is definitely cheaper and worth it.

This has become one of my favourite theatres in Calgary. The lobby is bright and airy, the staff have always been friendly and the seating is comfortable even in the IMAX auditorium (unlike a competing IMAX screen that still has older seating). Bonus: The popcorn Landmark uses is awesome! All in all, it's a great place to see a movie.

This is an awesome place for movies. The seating arrangement is so comfy, the sound system is good and the movies shown are well mixture of different languages. The transit station is just by the side and too many fast food joints nearby. Even shopping centres like Superstore and Staples are within walking distance. It was a great experience.

Went to see Jumangi. Movie was fine but the popcorn lineup was was way too long. We could not get popcorn until 30 minutes into the movie when I broke down and spent 20 minutes getting popcorn as the lineup was a 3rd the size. It's hard to spent 40+ bucks on tickets and another 25 or more on popcorn and have to spend 30 to 40 minutes waiting for popcorn. The most embarrassing part for Landmark is there were less than half the tills open while 250 people stood in line for popcorn.

Every since they installed the new recliner sofas, I've become a regular at this location, especially that it's right by my house. With the Atom app you can buy your tickets easily and invite friends, also you can order your snacks in advance so you don't have to stand in the big line but rather just pick up and head to your movie.

However we bought out tickets at the machine and it didn't print or ask us about seat numbers so we got here early to get good seats, only to get kicked out of seats where people bought ticktes online, after 4 bumps around we ended up in terrible seats even though we arrived 30 min early. This place is incredible! The best theatre in Calgary. Awesome comfy recliners in EVERY theatre. The good (and possibly bad) thing about this theatre is you can reserve your seat days in advance. We didn't know that so we ended up in the second row, but the angle wasn't that bad. We still enjoyed our movie and loved the seats. The touch screen fountain machines are neat and they allow for an amazing selection of drinks. It's quite a way up North, but worth the drive. Hopefully they make these same upgrades to the Landmark theatre in the Shawnessy location.

The reclining seats in every theatre are awesome and being able to get seats online makes life easier. I wouldn't recommend showing up without a ticket because most shows are sold or close to online. Hands down best cinema in Calgary. The recliner seats are designed like love seats with a middle arm rest that can be raised. No need to share arm rests or cup holders. Lots of movie times, including mornings for a discount. Freestyle Coke machines to pick your flavours and free refills. Refills on large popcorns as well. Ample parking available. Costco vouchers are a great deal and can be used online to book your seats ahead of time.

Yes it has great seats and a good viewing experience. However, if you are concerned still about covid the website does not tell you correct information. Shang-Chi was completely packed with no measures for social distancing. The 1 and one hand sanitizer was before you get your tickets checked, and it was empty when we arrived. The seats were still sticky and popcorn in the seats. I was uncomfortable the entire time.

There is hardly any parking for such a huge theatre, it was completely unaccommodating! I ended up parking two stores over and was hopeful not to get a ticket from that establishment. They advertise big loungers and they are not actually in every theatre without disclosing this fact before you get in for your movie. There is no real incentive to choose this theatre over other major chains.. I'm very dissatisfied overall.

Parking is kind of a pain, but what theater isn't. I have to say that the recliner seats make all the difference. This was the first time I have been to a movie in my adult life that I didn't get painful cramped legs or knees. I wish there were more Landmark cinema in my city, cause I would seriously never go back to Cineplex. For starters, buying tickets as a group has never been so easy. The app is nice to use, and you can coordinate with your friends. Every showing is reserved seating, so no more lining up 3 hours before showtime fighting to get a spot. And the seats are amazingly comfy reclining couches. The rows are spacious to accommodate, so no more stepping over everyone's feet if you need to get out. I can't believe I used to watch movies in such discomfort for the same bloody price at Cineplex.
