Where to begin, over staffed and under worked 6 people behind the counter but the kids couldnt stop goofing off so only one till going, and one person doing anything all with a line up going. The halls, and theater are littered with garbage and popcorn this theater is only a week or two old but it looks in worse than some of the older ones in the City. The bathrooms are lacking everything. 12 people, fairly dead night and no ones doing anything, they even called people on the radio to come hang out. On a personal note I wish they had the custom pop machine here like the other location. Last time I'll come to this one, I still prefer country hills as the best.

Nice, new, clean theater. Concessions are top notch, but it's a shame there is no Coke Freestyle machine. The lobby is small and they'll have to sort out better crowd control going in and out on the ticketed area. The recliners seats are superb. They go back comfortably and the headrest keeps your head forward and well supported. I didn't appreciate laser as a revolutionary technology. It looked like every other movie screen to me, but maybe I need to compare it side to side. The sound however, was amazing. Better than any other theater I've been to. It's so nice having a Landmark on the West side of the city. We'll definitely be back.

Nice and cozy new theatre. It’s a bit on the small side so it has a smaller selection of movies (4 at the time). But it has the comfy recliner seats and both the picture and sound were amazing. Sound was a bit loud to start but as the movie progressed it was fine. The concession was what you would expect of any theatre. Popcorn, nachos, drinks, snacks and simple food items like hotdogs pretzels and such. All items are ‘theatre’ priced but why would you expect otherwise?

Great seats, good popcorn. However, I have never received worse customer service at a theatre - ever. Normally how well I'm served is pretty far down on the list of what dictates what movie theatre I go to, too! The manager, concession worker and ticket taker all somehow managed to make a late night Halloween movie an uncomfortable, unpleasant and inadequate experience from front door to theatre seat. Stay closed if (bylaw-adhering, nice-because-we've-worked-in-service-jobs) people coming in to watch a show are a nuisence. Brutal.

Nice relaxing ambiance, nice staff. Lots of space to move around, clean bathrooms and the reclining chairs are very comfortable and spacious, makes you feel like your watching a movie at home. The sound in the theater is really good, and the screens are huge and have Laser Ultra which really makes movies look more vibrant and beautiful, giving a really good experience. Tickets are pretty expensive, that's why I recommend going on Tuesdays when it's a little cheaper(8.99 + tax). But all in all, would definitely go see another movie there with friends and family.

Went to the new theatre that opened near market mall. It is very clean and spacious looking. The seat are very comfy and offer a lot of room, as you would expect from Landmark. It is interesting to now see Cineplex follow suit by installing nicer chairs as well. I think they used to have a points system with their atom app but there is none that I know of now. It would be great if they could create one as a big reason why I go to Cineplex is because of the scene points. Also this location didn't sell coffee which I wanted to purchase.

This is my favourite theatre. It is smaller (5 screens) so it isn't super busy. I appreciate the screens between the seats as well. The customer service is amazing. I emailed about safety concerns, and recieved a phone call to discuss my concerns and help me understand their protocols.

**update June 2021** Movie theatres are back! And so are we!! I miss going to Landmark cinemas. The theatre butter popcorn hits different when you’re just relaxing on your recliner, not minding about the mess, and enjoying the trailers. I love that they put screen dividers for each recliners! No more eye contacts with other people!! ____________________________________ Best cinema in the city! Recliner love seats, spacious legroom, clean washrooms and well maintained cinema overall. Easy to buy tickets thru Atom app. Refillable large popcorn!! Also, try their Ultra cinema for the laser crisp projection and Dolby Atmos surround sound????????

Checked out the brand new theatre in the NW. We enjoyed "Star Wars" in the comfy new seats and great sound. Staff went above and beyond to help. A bit slow at concessions but expect that will improve as staff learn. New go to theatre for our family as the nearby Cineplex continues to disappoint.

Due to the size, I expected compromises when it came to experience, but it was like any other landmark location. Same counter services, and the same loveseat style seats. They didn't sacrifice the experience in spite of the space. Will definitely use this location again.

Theatre is a beautiful new theatre. Shiny comfortable seats. Big bright screens. Loud impact state of the art sound. But all that still left me with a complete dissapointment. Customer service was lackluster. Price for snacks was horrendous and beyond ridiculous. All things considering a shiny new theatre... Once the "newness factor" wears off ... You're going to be left with one large overpriced dissapoinment of an experience.

Nice, new and clean movie theater! The nutcracker ballet show has canceled so my girls were crying badly and I picked to watch the movie instead. Not so busy, the seats were very comfy and also the sounds were better than other theaters. We really enjoyed!!

This was the first time at this theatre since the lockdown. It is new, and has recliner seats for the Ultra AVX film we saw. The lobby is smaller than the Country Hills location, and as such your pop is filled by the rep at the concession, rather than by yourself at the self-serve units that Country Hills has.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about this cinema. My only complaint is that the drinks are very pricey, and I'm sure the food is too (but this is pretty standard for movie theaters nowadays)...however the theaters are clean, the seats are comfy, and screens are large. I didn't find it too cold and I'm always cold. They don't have everything yet but it's fairly new so I'm sure in a couple of months it will get even better. The location is perfect for me so this will be my new go-to theatre.

Awesome place to catch a flick. Easily prebooked our seats online, big recliners, and a lots of parking. Popcorn and fresh butter was great. The staff were super friendly and moved the line fast. The cashiers were taking orders and there were staff helping fulfill the orders which was awesome to see the teamwork. The theatres were very clean.

This theatre has top of the line seating! The building is also sorry modern and clean. It seemed a little quiet during the late showings, but the place is brand new, and there are only 4 screens here. Or concerns would be trying to find parking in an already packed parking lot, the movie selection due to the screen numbers, and the popcorn being unseasoned (even with double layered butter). This is a nitpick, but with other landmarks having the self serve drinks, it would be nice if this spot had them too.

Location! Finally a NW theatre that isn't in the far reaches of suburbia. This location picks up where the downtown theatres can't serve with their older seats and facilities. It also us great for those looking to avoid the mess around a certain Mcleod Trail mega mall. So thank you Landmark for providing those of us in this under served area. Now the theatre is exactly what you expect. Great screens, those fantastic lounge seats and big sound! The only downside on the concession is it doesn't have the billion flavour combination coca cola machine. Welcome to the neighborhood Landmark!

Just opened a couple days ago and snagged some last minute star wars tickets at the new laser ultra theatre. Smells new and really nice recliners, even a small step up from landmark 16 country hills recliners. Everyone was friendly and you could see management coaching staff. My only complaint is they don't have the cartridge Coca-Cola machines that deliver 100+ flavors of various juice, pop and flavored water. They have fountain pop and not even Coke zero on tap.

Great place to catch a movie on the BIG screen, spacious comfy reclining leather seats. There are barriers every two seats, these do not block your view of the screen or make you feel closed in although not sure how well it would work for a group. The sound is amazing. The foyer is light and bright, with tickets available either from ticket kiosks or from the kiosk when you get your popcorn or icecream.

New theater but kind of a strange vibe. Main lobby seems disjointed with no sense of direction. Also was extremely messy/dirty everywhere and it was not very busy.. The concession has extremely high prices, seemingly more than normal but that might just be perception. They did have some interesting offerings.. but one double back lineup system that seemed to get very packed with not many people. Seems like it would be a nightmare during peak times. The theaters themselves.. first off the seats are not as great as others are mentioning. The one I had the motor in the leg rest seemed like it was already failing and it kept dipping through the whole movie.. also there is a very hard bar in it that jabbed into my calves all movie. The seats are also strangely designed in duo's.. so my friend sat in one duo with someone else.. and I sat in a separate duo with a stranger. They should definitely make it more clear during seat selection.. was very awkward. As for the movie itself the theatre seems to be strongly promoting 'new and improved' technology throwing out terms such as 'lasers' - looked exactly the same as every other theatre I've been too.. maybe I'm no visual aficionado but it wasnt anything jaw dropping. 3D was ok, always seems somewhat disappointing though. The audio however was noticeably very clear and VERY loud.. may be too much for some people. Overall for how it is advertised I was disappointed. The seats in east hills are way better and nicer.. these seats seem cheaper and not built for durability. Also the lobby was just so weird.. hard to describe it but they could really use an arcade to spice things up. Likely wont come back to this one..

Just went today to see the last star Wars. The movies was great but every time there was a part where it was really loud some of the part in the theater was making vibrating sound, like loose light fixtures or walls/ceiling tiles a bit disappointing since it is a new theater. we were in theater number 1 :(

[EDIT] So apparently the sound being bad is actually from the movie TENET itself, NOT from the movie theatre. Therefore I will go back to watch another movie to properly assess the sound quality. Looks modern and clean. The room has great ambiance lighting, and the full reclining seats are always a welcome sight. Additionally, the fact that no annoying hand bars are present in front of you is very nice. However the seats are a little stiff (probably because they're still new). Also, I do NOT recommend watching in Laser Ultra: the image quality is around the same as IMAX, but the sound system is not good. The extra bass is welcome, but at the expense of everything else being muffled a bit, making it hard to understand the dialogue sometimes (which, for certain movies like TENET, can make or break the film). It's decent if you live in the area, but I'll stick to Landmark Studio 16's IMAX and SilverCity at CrossIron

Went to the laser auditorium showing of Tenent aug 31 and 6pm. It was hard to hear any dialogue. Me and my four of my friends all thought the same as if the equipment wasn't calibrated correctly.

Going to the cinema to see a film is not just about sitting in a chair for the length of time it takes for the movie to end, it's about the experience itself and Landmark delivers in spades. The screen is a Laser screen with 360° Dolby Surround Sound that is just a feast for the ears and eyes. The reclining chairs are also a treat and makes the viewing really comfortable AND they're new too (at least I think they are). Almost feels like you're watching a movie at home. The cinema also takes its health precautions seriously and I was happy with how seamless it was to transition from showing the QR code for COVID vaccinations to scanning tickets before watching a movie. If you're a ten (or fifteen) minute drive away, I 100% recommend this cinema.

Went here for the first time yesterday with my dad to see "1917" - outstanding WW1 movie btw! I'll get the one minus out of the way first: I wasn't exactly enthusiastic about the winding entry lineup for the concession area. I believe there should instead be multiple waiting lanes for this. That aside, even though I was only able to get seats in row C for the show, my dad and I were very impressed with the quality and sound of the movie! I also personally enjoyed the nicely padded reclining seats. Finally, the concession staff member who got me my combo order was very courteous. I'll definitely be back for more movies here!

This location is a smaller theatre. But it’s brand new and clean. Washrooms were clean and the theatre was spotless. Doesn’t have that run down old smell. Doesn’t have as many movies as the other larger locations. But it’s closer to my house and does the job. The frozen yogurt was a little bit runny but everything else was great. Had a bit of a wait when grabbing food but Popcorn was made fresh!!

Brand new theatre that is very clean and well maintained. They block off seats to ensure social distancing and have barriers up between recliners in sets of two. Really comfortable seats that you can adjust and recline. Concession is what you’d expect but easy to pre-order and pick up at the counter. I’d skip the pizza though, when I come to the theatre I’m craving a slice of pizza but the small individual option leaves you wanting more. Overall I’m glad to be back at the movies.

Extremely clean theatre with friendly staff. It smells like a new house in there right now. Seats push you forward in the top of chairs if you are extremely tall like I am so bring something behind your back. Chairs are full recline which is appreciated by most. There’s 2 empty seats between every chair right now amid Covid so things can continue to operate safely. They even have a protocol for people leaving the theatre.

This place is garbage. The manager/assistant manger suffer from a case of severe cranial rectal inversion. Utter waste of my time and money. I will never go to another Landmark Cinema ever again. Especially when movie theatres are struggling to get business, and these clowns do everything in their power to deter it. Movie theatres are on a downslope with home streaming becoming more and more popular (and affordable). I sincerely hope this establishment is the first one to have to close it's doors, because they way it is run, they deserve no less.

Went to see fast and furious 9 today. When we got there we found out they did not have all the food on the menu ????. Especially what we all wanted to order I.e. the nachos. So non of us got what we wanted to eat. Started off bad you might say. We bought our tickets on line. When I walked up to the ticket girl the first one refused us entire cuz there was no bar code in the email. But than a co worker told her it was ok since there was a booking reference number so they let us in. No apologies either from concession stand or the girl who refused entry. Than when we went to the movie room we went into the wrong show and were rudely escorted out. Again no one asked what movie we were there to see they assumed we were in the wrong by going into the movie earlier. Having different interactions with different departments in the same nite and seeing how no one really cares there that works there. Lots of attitude bu the staff as if they are doing you a favor. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS LOCATION UNTIL THEY CHANGE THERE CULTURE AND STAFF VALUES AT THIS LOCATION!! GO TO A CINEMA THAT HAS VARIETY AND KNOWS HOW TO TREAT ITS PATRONS. THERE WERE 3 OF US AND WE SPENT OVER $100. THERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ???? Ps..we all 3 got sick from the food there. We all got the same food. Hot dogs and popcorn. Save your money or go somewhere else this place is a nightmare....

Smaller than I thought, with none of the extras you find at most theatres these days. The staff were nice, and the seats were comfortable. Still had that "new-car smell" in the theatre. Unfortunately we had to wait outside the theatre doors for about 40 minutes or so before entering, as they had some issues with the brand new seats in the theatre. There are no benches or anything outside the theatre doors, so everyone had to stand, holding popcorn and drinks, and getting too warm with our coats on. It was a family movie, so there were lots of restless children. It would have been nice if the staff that were coming and going would have given us some popcorn vouchers or something for the inconvenience. Also, the movie likely started late as they only let us take our seats literally at the time the movie was supposed to start. I won't likely go back to this theatre as I have another Landmark theatre just as close to my home that is bigger and better. Although, if they had thought to give us some sort of voucher for the inconvenience, I would have gone back to try it again. Not a bad experience, just not a good one.

This is a new theatre and i loved it. It’s quite cozy as there are only few rows and the seats are really good and comfy. They have leather sofas with recliner. The leg space is a lot and currently they also have dividers between your seats so it’s very personalized. It feels like you are watching a movie in the comfort of your own living room. Overall great experience

I went to see Dear Evan Hansen the other day! Very much enjoyed myself! However the movie next to us was so loud that I could hear it over our movie. Might I suggest not having it so loud? I ordered my food ahead of time and then had to wait too long to receive it. When I told the manager he went there straight away to correct the issue. I appreciated seeing that! I want to make sure to point out that all the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be back.

This new theatre is very small. But don't let that fool you. The seats and screens are phenomenal. You can snuggle right up to your S.O. while munching down on some great popcorn that i might add is refillable for free. Unlike some other theaters ;) (you know the one) fast and friendly service!

I'm not sure if it's bad luck or something else, but I consistently have had bad experiences at Landmark. Yesterday I booked tickets online to watch Dune, and when we got there I found out that the theater had sold the seats to someone else who bought them in person. Management told us our only option was to take a pair of seats that they don't sell because the railing obstructs a large portion of the screen. Blame it on incompetent staff or a poorly tested online booking system, either way I'll probably go out of my way to go to cineplex from now on.

Went to a 6pm movie they dont have much for food except hotdogs, nachos and pretzels. Hot dogs were not cooked so they couldn't sell them... at a dinner time movie!! So we got nachos ... they were extremely hard and the cheese was meh. Theaters were nice inside. I would come again as it is across the road from my house, but not eat anything from concession again. The mall is right there for food.

Sound system was good but really loud. We had to do up our winter coats to stay warm. The cold breeze from the air conditioning didn't help. Seats were very comfortable and you could adjust them the way you want. Washrooms were very clean. Slow service at the food counter as we had to wait while 4 staff members made up some popcorn. We'll come back in the summer when it's warmer and staff should know by then how to prepare for customers.

I can't believe this place used to be a Staples, it is great that they converted this area into a cinema. Not grand in size compared to others in the city but it is a fairly decent sized area. Comfy seats, not overly busy either. Lots of parking in front of the cinema. It's new, clean and staff are friendly.

Went to see Black Widow. There were pink and green dots moving across the screen in white areas of the movie. Very distracting and negatively impacted the movie. Told the manager after the movie that there is a problem with the projector. She said there is nothing they could do. Do yourself a favour and skip the cinema, especially this one. Buy premier access on Disney+ instead, get the true viewing experience and save some money too.

Took the better half to go see the recent Star Wars and the picture and sound in the laser theater was phenomenal. The recliners smelled new as it just opened that month. A couple of caveats. They still like to keep it cold in this Landmark as well. At one point, when you're comfy, the AC will kick in. Wonderful for summer days, miserable in winter. They do sell fleece blankets, so there's that. If you're in to watch a quiet movie, the walls aren't that great in keeping noise out of other theaters. We watched a movie the following week and all we could hear were explosions and ships from the Star Wars movie we previously watched. The staff are young. For a few of them, this is their first job, so go easy on them if they're not getting your popcorn fast enough. I thought they're doing great. There's no self-serve soda machine, they give it to you by the tills. All in all, a great Landmark. It doesn't do anything new, but it does deliver on date night.

Very disappointed that there is no freestyle pop machine at this location. The theatre was totally quiet until 5 minutes before the movie started and then there was sound with no picture. My kids were going crazy with no picture. Will not be returning to this location any time soon.

Went to see 1917. I’m glad I wore my winter jacket. It was so cold in the the theatre that my hands were in my jacket pockets the whole movie and my jacket was zipped up over my neck. If I go back I’ll make sure to wear long underwear. Two small popcorns and two beverages cost more than the two tickets. Bring ear plugs as the sound was deafening. Wear a toque (tuke) to keep your ear plugs warm...

This must be the best theater in town. New and sparkling clean, only five auditoriums total and because of this and fantastic reclining seats that are real spacious and big it cannot hold anywhere near as many people at once as a regular theater so it doesn’t become a zoo even at full or near full capacity. We absolutely loved the experience and I genuinely think this theater is worth the drive even if you don’t live nearby. 10/10.

when I asked when the theatre was ready to go sit in as I had two impatient kids and no arcade to keep them entertained until the movie started, the lady at the ticket ripping station was snarky with me acting like I was crazy for even asking when they would be done cleaning and proceeded to tell me when the movie started like I just bought a ticket know when the movie starts! If your having a bad day don't take it out on the customers thanks.
