A large parking lot, a modern layout, and it's spacious design make it my preferred multiplex. I also enjoy the "pour your own" coke machines which offer the complete spectrum of Coke soft drinks including Vanilla, cherry, lime, etc.

Rick Ali

Excellent theatre and the VIP lounge area is a great place to grab a quick lunch. The food is great. Concession lines can sometimes be crazy but mostly ok.

Last night I had come in to see the new Star Wars movie at around 10:30pm at this location (QEW & Burloak- Oakville), I am from Newmarket myself and this is the first time I had been to this location. When I had arrived, I was starving and decided to go to Harveys down the street but found it had already closed, so I decided to settle for a meal at Outtakes before the movie. I just wanted to comment on the service that I had received here by the girls who were working at Outtakes the time (especially Madeline - I believe this was her name). All the girls from the initial order had been incredibly enthusiastic and exceptionally friendly. When I had ordered and was ready to receive my food there had been a large crowd at the pick up counter. Despite the overwhelming number of people waiting the girls worked efficiently and quickly and had remained both calm and did not seem at all phased by the chaos. Unfortunately I had discovered that one item on my order had been missed and had not shown up on the computers. Because of this, I had been waiting a bit longer than I expected. When I had inquired, Madeline took my concern very seriously and immediately began to rectify it without complaint, distress, or argument. She apologized for the error and delivered with amazing speed, accuracy, and attitude. Because of her positive attitude I could not remain frustrated at all despite the order input error and longer wait. In fact, this experience had actually IMPROVED my mood for the rest of my night. Her coworker, Sami, had a similar attitude with other customers (she had not dealt with me directly) they appear to be a great team together. In summary, Madeline was a very charming and uplifting worker and I believe she deserves to be commended for her attitude, work ethic, and her charming personality as well. This was definitely exceptional fast food service that is rare to find. Kudos to them both and I hope that both of these excellent workers receive this message. Sincerely, A happy customer!

Went to VIP. Loved it!!! Such a good experience. Good sound and visual. Good food. Seats are so comfy

Matthew Sheldrake

VIP servers are so nice, one of our orders took forever to come so they even brought us a free popcorn. Have been to this theatre many times and will continue to return!

J Breezy

Service was extremely friendly and helpful. The theatre was very clean. Also, the restaurant in there was not over priced and they served a great portion, leaving me full and satisfied. Again, the staff was great!

Stephanie Thi

I come here at least once a month and the service has always been pretty good (especially in the dining area). There was only one occasion where I had a very bad experience within the theatre with their staff. However, Cineplex was able to rectify the issue.

ian marcinkowski

VIP seating is comfortable, popcorn was fresh. I couldn't tell if the sound theatre sound was bad or if Transformers 5 has terrible sound editing.

Kornél Kalotai

It was the first time to watch a movie in Canada. It was pretty good time. But the chairs were strange for me. I think I get use to it. ????

Unc Mike

VIP Oakville was amazing. Great comfort, fab selection of dining options. The service there was really good. Nice new look.

Amina Shahzad

Cinemas are ok, but the food servers are usually slow and unfriendly. The food lines should be served faster since everyone wants to rush back to their respective movie. The ketchup and butter jars are usually empty - the place gives a strong feeling of unhappy staff.

Rae pvh

Feels all fancy in there. The arcade is super cute and the VIP sections are great for adults trying to watch a movie without all the floor stickiness and teens making out in the back that usually comes with going for a movie.

We went on Saturday Dec 18th to See Spiderman:No Way Home We arrived a few minutes late yet surprised parking wasn't an issue. (Good) Upon entry we were asked for our Covid-19 vaccination QR code (good). They did not ask us screening questions. We purchased food and beverage. I couldn't find the Scene app or site on my phone. I found something called Scene Plus.....The food service person was polite but didn't know anything about it. Unfortunately I couldn't scan my $60 purchase (popcorn, water, candy for 3 people). Upon entry into Theatre 6 I was shocked to see a packed room. Except for the front 2 rows. Every row was full. The attached picture was taken before the start of the movie to show how packed the theatre was. Our seats (booked in advance and cost more than standard seats) were located all the way at the top/back left. D-Box. There was a man seated in one of our seats and he moved to one of the other D-Box seats which I believe was supposed to be empty for social distancing. The D-Box seat concept is impressive. However as the movie progressed I found the seat vibration annoying and I decreased the intensity. In my opinion I don't think it's worth the extra $. Especially since the seats are far from the screen and not center. Btw during the entire movie I didn't notice any staff observe or enter the theatre. After the movie we went over to the gaming room. Several machines took our credits but did not function. Interesting it was the machines that involve winning gift cards and electronics. The staff were polite and returned the credits to the cards. Unfortunately rebooting the machines did not fix the problem. If anyone reaches the bottom of this review and plans to see the same movie, Note: there are 2 post credit scenes. One is After ALL the credits scroll. Enjoy!

Péter Lukács

I love this cinema, and I like all the precautions they make against covid.

Hafez Issa

This is my go to movie theater. All the screens are good a good size. Obviously everything is very expensive but I mean it is a theater they are trying to make some more money. But it's got lots of parking spots and even nearby areas to park if you can't find a parking right away. You pay the price of coming late by having to park in the plaza down the street. The place is clean and the crowd is very calm and collected.

tOrI B

Can be a little dirty depending what staff are working, but in general they're good. Seat are comfortable and they are always updating things to make it better. Much better than the Brant street location.

Jeremy Tyers

Wings gave me upset stomach. Don't look in the cracks of the seats you will gag. Server brought one class when we ordered a pitcher of sangria. I guess vip means very irritating posion

Joey F (J)

I really liked the layout. Good size, and lots of showtimes. Lots of parking as well.

Brian Smith

VIP is a little tighter than Queensway, but not as bad as downtown. In seat service has gotten better and the food options improve annually as well. They let you order multiple drinks before the show so you can enjoy the experience throughout. Not having kids around is also a plus when watching a movie. I highly recommend going VIP!

Dan John

Very clean theatre, staff is as friendly as you need them to be. Awesome VIP screens and super comfy seats too (tip: 1000 scene points not only gets you a free movie, but can get you a free VIP movie too)

Roberto Tank

The food was just ok. The movie theatre seats could be better. They recline a bit but you have to hold them down by locking your feet against the base of the chair in front of you or the recliner straightens up if you relax to much.

Yewande A

First time at a VIP cinema! I enjoyed the experience and will do it again! I wished the seats could recline, it would have been perfect. PS: I didn’t take a lot of pictures, next time I will.

Raquel Marin

Employees are doing their best to keep the place clean and organized. I’ve been twice here, and they are always nice

Aron Reid

Good cinema, a little small however the VIP area is quite nice. Over all nice and clean fairly new but a tad small. Also the washrooms are a bit small.

Benjamin Grim

Movie was good. Seats slide for extra comfort. Popcorn apparently is more valuable than gold.

Cody Lusk

The ability to have a beer in the VIP is nice, and the AVX system is amazing. Much better than the Brant St location. Reserved seating is very convenient. But way too pricey, as with any Cineplex theatre.

Gerard Gregorio

Staff was nice, theatres were clean, seats weren't worn out like some other theatres. Parking is decent for the time frame we went (during the day) but I can see this are filling up quick due to the surrounding restaurants. Conveniently located right by the highway too.

Nghe Luu

Nice experience, comfy VIP seats was the right choice for a long movie like Avengers, dinner served at the seat was a treat. We enjoyed the Beyond Meat burgers and the Truffle fries were great. Caramel popcorn unexpectedly came in a retail bag and I would've preferred the usual Cineplex bag. For the price, we'll likely try 4DX before coming back.

Antonio Pecora

Love going to this Cinema. Lots of parking and great restaurants around there. It never really feels full. They look really new and the staff are really friendly. The popcorn is fresh and with so many places to eat after the movies, it would be great to go and just hang out afterwards given that you don’t have to go and park your car somewhere else.

Jack S

Always clean. People friendly. Nice VIP area. Not this specific site issue but can’t apply a coupon online to pay for reservations. Wish this can be done. What is a problem here is there’s always a kiosk or two down for offsite preorders.

HARJAGVEER Boparai

Management is very rude and keep disturbing by checking again and again. I will not visit this cineplex in future.????

Danielle Shortt

The VIP seats could be better. It's hard to have to push back to lean for a whole movie. They need more like a lazyboychaor. Otherwise food is good and it's always clean.

Simon Howe

We had a great time. We rarely get a sitter and when we can we really enjoy coming out to the cinema. It's nice to have a drink and a chat at the VIP lounge bar before the movie. The service is really great and the desserts and drinks never fail. Thanks for another great night out!

Alissa Latour

Seats are retro the VIP section is a bit more room but no no recliners yet when most already have upgraded its not the best but luckily they has an older show cause we hadn’t seen 007 yet so at least they had it playing

Don Poynter

This is the finest cinema in the area. It has all the modern technology and a choice of VIP, 3D and regular movies. Especially good on cheap Tuesdays when a movie is only about $8.00.

Nathan Z.

Staff were so friendly it scared me. Great service.

Ryan G.

Overall good but their VIP shouldn't be called VIP because it is way too crammed compared to the VIP in Toronto. If it isn't going to be proper leg room & chairs then they shouldn't have bothered to designate it that.

Jorge Maldonado

Always a positive experience at the VIP, however I don't think glasses should be used to serve drinks. 2 glasses were broken by people, one during the movie and another when the theatre was emptying out, smashing all over the aisle where people were trying to walk out. They should resort to plastic drinkware

Jerry Bilous

This is how enjoying a movie at a cinema should be for adults. Great seating, relaxed preshow lounge and restaurant which allows alcoholic drinks to be swrved snd consumed in the theatre. Quite the experience. Will do again!

Kareem El-Baradie

Friendly staff and really clean. Wish they had an imax but the ultra avx is good

SweetPotato Sauce

One of the best cineplex locations I have ever been in. Love the VIP sections

Evan Ezewski

The VIP theatre was great, comfy seats, great picture and sound. $22 is still a bit steep since Imax is only $17.

Ahmed Zaki

Pros: It’s nice cinema. Clean. Good chairs. Plenty of parking space. Cons: Popcorn is not always fresh and super crispy as it’s supposed to be. (7 out of 10 is fresh)

Python Mocky

This has been my go-to theater for a decade. Its such a great spot, friendly staff, clean theaters, big arcade, and never forget the VIP section. This place has never let me down, give this spot a go.

Ryan King

Good place to catch a movie, but not to eat! Lots of stuff on the VIP menu isn't very good and all of it is way over-priced, so I'd steer clear of the fancier selections... the sundaes were awful, and I never thought I'd say that about a sundae in my entire life. They didn't even have cherry's like they promised. Honestly, unless it's a drink ready made in a bottle or can... and nothing they prepare in house except popcorn and the like, don't waste your money.

Akaila Cowell

First time here for the VIP and it was as expected. However, I ordered the churros and cafe almande from the menu and it wasn’t very impressive. The churros were bland and gross and the coffee would have been better if they used a good brand of coffee. Not sure what they use, but it tasted like the bottom of the pot of the cheapest coffee brand out there. I wasn’t expecting 5 stars though. This is just a movie theatre after all. The seats were comfy and the movie was good, that’s all I expected. Definitely not rushing to go back however.

RV, Ontario

Easy parking, many dining places accessible from the same parking lot so arrive early to grab a nice lunch or dinner before the movie. Place is clean, right beside QEW to head east or west quickly. Overall good experience and crowd is classic.

Shawn Richarz

Best seats in the city to watch a movie. An adult drink is a bonus. Washrooms are too small. Decor is nice.

HarmZ B

Normally it would be a 5 star review because I’ve been here many times however this time was different. Everything was going fine until 1/4 way through my layered large popcorn I noticed that there were strands of hair in the popcorn, felt like I was flossing as I was eating. It was to late to tell anyone because we were half way through the movie and it was the last show. Very disappointed first time this has happened but the people preparing the food should be wearing hair nets as this is a health hazard.

Bitek R

Very poor customer service from manager on duty. We went to see Ford vs Ferrari in Etobicoke but there was fire alarm and everyone had to leave the theater. We drove to Cinaplex on Winston Churchill. The move was sold out and we were told they would exchange ticket for us for any other movie or we can catch the movie in Oakville and they would just exchange tickets for us there. When we got to the movie theater in Oakville we were told that they would not exchange ticket for us and that the Etobicoke location should have given us vouchers (again hundreds of people were leaving at the same time so the stuff was not exchanging tickets) and that we need to go through reimbursed process online and that we need to buy tickets again. We drove all way front Etobicoke to Oakville to see the movie. The manager on duty last night (Jan 4th) should be updated in customer service. She handled it poorly.

Jessica Atkinson-Maruso

Drinks and normal movie snacks were good. Food itself was sub par. It was frozen minimal effort definitely not worth the price.

Martin Obst

Love there VIP movies whit food

Rick Clark

The facility is nice but on this night they only had only two registers open at the concession making it a painful wait to overpay for fountain drinks and a bag of candy and this is on the opening night of a big summer blockbuster. Then getting into the theatre we get disabled Dbox seats which I was not made aware of when purchasing ticket, they were also made very difficult to find due to a seat number that was not lit up or made visible at all without shining at light on it and were also much less comfortable then a normal seat. To top it off they did not have the AC on in July... All of of these things were completely avoidable had someone been managing things properly. I expect better from Cineplex Odeon.

nicolly c

VIP is great! Had a fantastic time watching Eternals

Richard St Jules

Very tiny VIP seats with little legroom as compared to newer Cineplex's. There used to be spacious seating but at some point, more seats were crammed into the same area.

Ayman Mansour

Amazing movie theatre, had a great time!

Maxine Tubbe

I love Cineplex' VIP cinemas, but this is not one of my favourites. I've been twice now, but I'm probably going to go elsewhere next time. The service has been lacking - friendly, but not always available. The first time we went early to eat in the theatre, but there was only one waitstaff and we were not served. We had to go to the restaurant ourselves to order. The second time we went early again, this time we planned to eat in the restaurant before going into the cinema. The place was crowded, but only one waitstaff and it took a long time to get our meal. The cinema seats do not recline, and the swing-out tables are a tight fit. I still like the VIP cinemas - hence the high star rating. But, I have had better experiences at other VIPs - so this one gets four instead of five stars.

Zachary Proulx

Food was cold and tasted old, like it had been sitting out. Guiness was not served with a glass. Everything was dirty; the washrooms, the seats, the walls, you name it. The seats are comfortable but don't lock in recline position which makes it kind of a waste. Great screen and sound quality. Not what I would call VIP.

Basil Raja

The service was amazing, but the VIP cinema itself was subpar and inferior in comparison to the VIP Cinemas elsewhere. To be specific; there are no reclining chairs, the seats itself were uncomfortable and were equivalent in size to the seats in a regular cinema. Overall, not worth the price we paid for.

Tracy Rayner

Love this theatre. I love the VIP seats. Nice to watch a movie where you can pick your seats ahead of time

Casey Roth

My mainstay for movies, right now. Theatres are always clean, service is always kind, foods always good. The prices, I mean, that's the theatre business. Setting that aside, I do love coming to this theatre. What I don't like is reviewing this place and seeing my computer trying to "correct" my spelling of theatre to the U.S. version. It's the-atre. Not friggin' theeter.

A PB

This theatre use to be the best one in all of Halton. Now it is run down, always dirty (floors sticky, tables never wiped, carpets rarely vacuumed). Really unfortunate that it has gone down hill since it was so nice when it opened.

Jack C

Nice, however we went to VIP and i didn't appreciate all the people chewing food around me. It really takes away from the movie. There should no loud chewing policy

Zic King

Nice place, great experience! I really enjoyed attending my first VIP showing here and its my go to theater

Viva La Blair

We have been to this theatre for regular movies but today we went for stars and strollers(a new release movie but the lights are not all the way off,the volume is reduced, they have a change table and stroller parking.) The fwciliry was clean. We enjoyed ourselves and reccomend it to other parents with young babies.

Emily Ann

Your website does not work. Fix the fact that you can't pay with more than one gift card per transaction. This is 2020 people. HOW does your system not allow me to pay for my tickets with more than one gift card. Pathetic.

Kuro Gonzalez

Horrible experience, we tried to ordered food online 30 minutes before we got thee and the system was down , we tried to ordered food when we were sitting and they ignored us for 30 minutes , The waiters were all over the place like zombies and 45 minutes later we got our food , Mediocre, “VIP” not clue what “VIp” means . The seats are old and not comfortable at all .

Chris Underdown

Great theatres but VIP seats were more comfortable when they originally came out than they are now. Expensive too.

Vanita Thomas

SUPER CLEAN, not busy a little of a drive but worth it- as it’s has newer VIP option! Good date night-

Mark Davidson

Nice faculty, wide selection of theatres from VIP to AVX . Washrooms are always well maintained. Pop and popcorn is well...over priced but what are you going to do? Good place to watch a movie that needs to been seen on a big screen. Otherwise , save your money and watch it at home.

matsiepan

Needs more parking as it us shared by numerous restaurants. Saturday nights you can expect a long walk to the door. VIP is pricey but ultimately a good experience.

Jason Robertson

This location is good. Not very busy and they have great selection of movies. I prefer to come here rather than going to any other place in Mississauga will take me forever to find parking and normally very busy

Steve Leitch

It's a tradition for my father and I to go to the movies on Hump Day Wednesday. Fantastic deal for two VIP movies and two dinners, $50 and change. We have always enjoyed our experience here but the one downside has been our waitress at the bar where we would eat before hand. Every time we come in she looks stressed and frustrated and it shows while she is serving. I understand work can be tough but if you hate your job, you really need to find something new. The customers come here for a night away from the stress, the last thing we need is to have to deal with yours. Aside from that, I would absolutely recommend this location as we have had great service on every other end of the trip. Great ticket and food service, front desk is very helpful! 4/5

Ethan Ding-Garber

Cineplex VIP theatre provides larger seat and room for your legs to rest and the wonderful thing is you don't have to move backward when someone is trying walk pass you. Also they have a decent selection of food and beverage

Jazmin N

Love their VIP theatre, always come here to watch a movie and have a couple of drinks. Movie theatre is clean and the customer service is great. I wished the chairs reclined more, I been to other VIP cinemas (in other country) and they have lazyboys instead of chairs, which makes the VIP experience amazing ????

Dar El

Awesome updated theatre. Highly recommend the VIP lounge for adults wanting a peaceful movie experience, great for movie dates with your spouse. Full service VIP lounge. They also have a great arcade for those going with children or just enjoy arcade games.

Mark Tocheri

Modern, nice clean theatres, VIP Cinemas, UltraAVX Cinemas. Easy parking, several restaurants in the complex.

Harris Mohsin

Cineplex Oakville is one of the better cinemas of Cineplex chain - I like it more as it's not always too crowded, and the crowd is good as well. I went for the VIP the first time and to be honest, other than having food served at your seat with better napkins or better washrooms there is nothing to be amazed of when it comes to the movie experience. One thing which I was looking forward for was the comfort and the seats were really not comfortable. The screen size is small (Cineplex VIP cinemas mostly have limited seats with small theater) though the Dolby sound was good. Overall it was okay, but I wouldn't recommend going for VIP, Ultra AVX woulf give you same movie experience + bigger screen.

XBOXLIVE FANBOY

Epic experience but never get my food right and once movie start no workers around and I'm not leaving during the movie. Then argue you after the fact online. But great experience overall just get a receipt once ordering food. FOOD IS AMAZING THOSE plus prices aren't actually that bad.

Patrick Henry

It's pretty hard to screw up dinner and the movies with Cineplex VIP but low and behold, the Wyecroft location in Oakville did that for us. We did not come in expecting a 5 star dinner, however how do you screw up a harvest salad by not bringing one with cucumber in it and the dressing like it advertises? Once brought to the servers attention(Nicole), she brings back another one apologizing and saying extra tomatoes and carrots were added... she forgot to mention the shredded cheese that looked like it was scraped off someone else s plate. There is no excuse for that and it is pretty disgusting. A manager comes in to the picture who introduced him self as such but never caught his name. He apologizes and says he has 3 trainees working... we are also the only table ordering food and the cinema is a ghost town... please go on with the lame excuses. So there is clearly no supervision with the food coming out of the kitchen and we were so disgusted we had to go across the street to swiss chalet which is something we should have done to begin with and never have eaten there.

Alan Forde

Clean, great Covid protocols, attentive serving staff.

Alicia York-Bird

Love this theatre! We come exclusively for the VIP as its the closest to home for us, and we have never had a sub-par experience. Be prepared, however, to spend a boatload of cash on in-seat service, as their (admittedly delicious) menu has sky-high pricing.

K Dunlop

I'm a sucker for the VIP theatre - it is the BEST way to see a movie!! The Lounge has better food than the nearby restaurants, but somehow hardly anyone knows you can go there for dinner.

Paul Jamieson

Excellent . But they need to be able to order drinks from your chair during the movie .. Maybe a quick intermission for delivering you stuff..

Caroline Morin

I regret going to this location's "VIP" experience even on a cheap night. If you've been to the Kitchener location, you'll know exactly what I mean. If you haven't, let me try to explain why I expected much more. The Oakville cinema has done little more than take 2 normal rooms and changed the regular seats for cushioned chairs. There's the bar on the first floor, which looked nice, and the concessions upstairs, which looked okay. The carpet was dirty and the bathrooms were something out of a rundown fast food joint (fyi, the men's bathroom has only one stall and one urinal). There was either no A/C in the theater or it wasn't on strong enough, as we all began sweating after the lengthy period of previews. In Kitchener, the aisles between the rows are double to triple the size. The chairs are noticeably wider and recline way back, with a footrest that can be pulled up in front. Even fully laid out, these do not impede the aisles. There are armrests on both sides for each seat and plenty of room between each seat, with cup holders. The lounge itself is beautiful and immaculate, making it feel like a true VIP experience--a very separate and exclusive place of its own. The decor is tasteful and elegant, and the washrooms are both plentiful and beautiful. Don't spend the extra money on a slightly more padded seat in a crowded and hot cinema where the servers struggle to get food and drinks to the customers. It's definitely not the VIP experience you should be getting.

Heather C

A really busy theater with a VIP that we love. when it's really busy, they still have good customer service. Sound systems great theaters great there are broken seats they address it immediately.

Shawn M

Parking is free and ample, line up to get tickets but not a bad wait if you have planned your time. Popcorn combo prices decently, no refills on pop. Salt and vinegar packet no charge when ordering combo like other theatre owned by cineplex. Theatre is clean and family oriented here. We had fun and will definitely return.

Pilar

It's a clean and comfortable. One of my favorite.

Daniel Nixon

Nice movie theatre and not very busy. The prices are ridiculously high. I got in with popcorn and a drink with ticket for $30. I could get the same food for about $3 if I went to a grocery store and the movie is most likely going to be out on a streaming service soon anyways (such as Netflix, Amazon prime video, etc) so it is honestly not worth it unless you have a gift card...I also dislike that Cineplex is using automative cashier's, they are annoying to use, they make the customer do more work, and they make people lose jobs. Not very happy and I would say just stay home and watch a movie there.

Jenna Jones

The VIP experience was neat, as we had comfy chairs, and food and drinks brought right to our chairs very quickly after ordering. The food was good, and reasonably priced as well. I only gave 4 stars because the parking lot for this complex is way too small so it can be hard to find a parking spot on a Saturday night for example.

Jamie Hall

Going to the movies is awesome. Going to the movies and having beer, or wine from the comfort of the seat you selected? Best movie experience ever. The staff at Burloak were very friendly and accommodating. The movie was awesome, I will say, the sound wasn't as immersive as I thought it would be and when sitting at the back, the screen was small than I would have liked, but I'm into a movie being an experience.

Seth Hansen

They've changed the seats in vip, less leg room, and not as wide. Certainly not worth over $40 for two people. The speakers were cracking every time there was heavy bass, and they need to be replaced. Audio definitely needed to be leveled correctly. It's been a little while since I've been to the movies, and this certainly did not do anything to get me to go back more frequently.

Ethan Jones

Great place! Especially the VIP area. Even if you are sitting normally you still get some comfortable seating with a great viewing angle! Great place with tons of movies.

Anne L

Large theatre with a VIP section upstairs. VIP screens are not as large as the regular screens but they are big enough to give you a good cinematic experience. It has stadium seating and seats are very comfortable. Milestones, Montana's, Kelsey's and Swiss Chalet are located beside it.

Morghan Peressini

The ticket machine never prompted for me to use my scene points, so I didn't get my free movie, and the new VIP theaters don't have cup holders. Overall it was good.

Xavier Brunet

Nice experience in the VIP. Drink and food available through out the movie. Confortable seat. Little problem is that you have to order "everything", with the server, once, before the movie. Made my fries and my popcorn colder that i wished.

Overly Opinionated Mama

No reclining seats (if I have to hulk hold back my seat for the whole movie, that's not reclining seats). No heated seats, no foot rests, the table is nearly impossible to get out. The others are far better and I definitely recommend going for a real VIP experience. Sound was okay, screen was okay, service was nice though.

Suzanne Soto-Davies

We had a good time. Food was "ehh" okay, kind of like a diner... The drinks are MASSIVE (see my photo??) and kind of watered down so i could only drink about half, but the kids running the VIP are awesome. Now let's talk about the chairs... SERIOUSLY: What the heck?? They seem comfy, but you can't lean them back. AT ALL. So you feel like you're sitting upright the whole movie, very exhausting. But it's nice to have a drink while you're watching a movie with your significant other; makes it more of a 'date night' :)

Elias Cheaib

been here many times for party's and get to gether's and never to have had a problem, the arcade is also really cool.

Princess Sy (misssgtpickles)

Disappointing compared to the Queensway VIP location which is amazing. This theatre is smaller & chairs are closer together. Leather seats still comfy, arm rest still goes up, great menu/food selection as usual. However VIP service is much different at this location, we had to physically go down to the associate to place an order. When the notice that the movie was about to start we realized that the person was not actually going to come to us & we have to walk down to them. Apparently we have to go to them & place an order on the iPad or flag them down now in order to order....and when I inquired if things have changed in terms of making food orders - in her words "yes, I can come up there to take your order".....weird as the 5+ other flicks we've seen at the Queensway location never functioned in this manner...very odd....I ordered the buffalo chicken tenders & I ended up receiving plain chicken tenders...server didn't seem to know the menu...thankfully, the person who delivered the food brought a ramekin of sauce once I asked for buffalo sauce. Since there is an extra surcharge for VIP theatres, save yourself the trouble, drive down to the Queensway location for the real Cineplex VIP experience.

Robyn Iwaskiw

Found 20 minutes of preview getting to be a bit much before the movie starts. There was still 5 minutes or so of the movie left and they turned on the lights. In the vip theater The seats were comfortable, lots of leg room, could push the seats back a bit, only thing that would make it perfect is a small foot rest. Service was quick for getting food. Staff was friends, theater was very clean

Crozford

We had seats for the VIP theatre and ordered drinks to our seat. The beer came right away, but the mixed drink took 30 minutes. We asked multiple times and were given excuses that drinks were made in the lobby. Unacceptable.

Jorge Calderon

Went to watch the Patriots game at the VIP theaters and the staff were very friendly providing us with additional snacks. Hopefully they do more games in the future!

Stacy Desjardins

Seen a movie here while staying at Motel next door . During a snow storm granddaughter and I walked next door to see movie had the entire theatre to ourselfs which was pretty neat but theater itself was filthy , for being so slow because of storm and quite a few employees still there you think it would have been spotless . Thank goodness had wipes in purse because I felt like I should have cleaned everything before we touched it . Bathrooms were not even all that clean . Would hate to see if on a busy night

Ayla Shahmiri Bubber

Came in to watch James Bond. The girl at the foods stand was really nice and helpful. I think her name was Leia. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the whole experience!

Creasy

I enjoy going to the movies, however I hate crowded theatres, especially with children in it. After seeing a movie in the theatres that was completely packed and we got stuck with a kids birthday party sitting beside us, we decided it was time to try the VIP theatre. It ruined us! We can’t go back!! Extremely comfortable seating, food brought to your seat, alcohol served... and best of all... no children!!!! It’s heaven!! I love buying the tickets online and getting the seats we want, not having to wait in line. VIP is the way to go!

Janette Nosella

The Absolute AMAZEBALLS! There's nothing like the VIP rooms, exceptional customer service regardless of cinema chosen, love the larger seats, smaller seating capacity. Many fellow cinema goers, unfortunately, continue to believe that they are viewing a film in their home. Too much chatting, summarising the film, asking questions "what's happening now", etc. Probably the same patrons who break glasses, eat excessively loudly and leave their garbage behind - people who have far too many FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS. Don't bother others with your rude upbringing, lack of commonsense and philistinism. Thank goodness for a cultured, polite, professional and friendly staff experience every visit at the VIP/Cineplex! Many thanks for your dedication.

Zlatko Zahirović

Great attempt at making a VIP viewing experience. The food was descent but my god those chairs were terrible. You cannot recline and are stuck watching the movie in an uncomfortable pose.

Sameer R

Saw Dune in Cinema 7 and there was what looked like a tear in the screen that stands out during scenes such as views of the desert. It was very distracting. Also, it's not a problem with the cinema, but people really need to stop using snapchat and Instagram during movies. Too distracting.

Mister T

This Cinema is what all movie theaters should be like. Exceptionally friendly and very clean movie theater with amazing VIP theaters and just as amazing food and alcoholic beverages. Extremely comfortable VIP seating that is not too crowded but still has a fair-sized screen with amazing sound

Jay Piwo

Love the VIP experience here. Took my mom for thr first time and she said " too bad they only came out with this now instead of when I was younger"! Associates are warm and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Certainly a good place to go to see a movie.

Dan

This is your everyday movie theater, it has your typical food place with the same old, popcorn, nachos and drinks. Though I have to say the sound on those speakers are quite nice and the screens are just the right size where you don't necessarily need to move your whole head to get from one side to the other... Well that depends where you sit. That leads me to the 'reserving seats' feature for some of the theaters which is quite useful.

Ali Ghauri

Best place to go on a date with your significant other. The VIP theatres are sooo good with amazing service. Food is a little pricey but worth every penny. Love the seats as they are super comfortable.

David Boulos

We visited the VIP lounge. It was very well maintained, and when we asked to move to our seats the waitress was helpful and assisted us. The VIP auditoriums are much smaller than the regular auditoriums, and the screen size and quality appeared to be the same as the other auditoriums. There was a decent amount of space for eating and sitting, with little tables that slide out of the armrest as well. There was a lot of helpful staff available which enhanced the experience. While bringing some food to our seats, a customer turned around and knocked part of the food out of our hands in front of some of the staff. We were annoyed at her but decided to brush it off and get to our seats. While sitting down, a member of the Cineplex staff came to us and told us that another plate of food was being brought to us for free, and that they were sorry. Even though it wasn't the staff who even bumped into us, they still made amends for the situation. This was very appreciated, and definitely brought our mood back up. Overall the experience was very pleasant, and the Cineplex staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely visit again.

Katarina Kaneff

This is by far my favourite Cineplex to visit. I live in Mississauga, but I'll go out of my way to see movies at this location. Never had a problem with other patrons even when seeing a regular showing (not VIP) which is fantastic. Concession stand is not that bad in regards to price either! Facilities are also quite clean. Popular movies do get full quickly especially in VIP, but that can be avoided by ordering tickets online.

henny

Every time i come to this theater one female manager (with black hair) is always verbally berating an employee. This once happened in front of my son, who is 9. It makes me very uncomfortable that someone who is in charge of running a family establishment treats the poor employees this way. As someone who has been a long time returning customer for Cineplex and see the same employees often, they are always friendly, efficient, and hard working people! Theaters can not function without the hard work from those who sell tickets, concessions, and clean theaters and i’ve always had a positive experience in here not because of how well a manager cleaned my theater or served me at concessions, but the employees. These are people’s sons and daughters and I do hope the disrespectful lazy manager who mistreats the employees gets taken care of. I like bringing my family here! I hope the managerial staff gets some training because I don’t want to support these behaviors and I’d LOVE to give a 5 Star review, but the manager staff deserves a 0.

Heather Grundy

Went to the VIP movies last night for my birthday. It was a disappointing experience. My drink order was messed up twice. We also ordered an appetizer to share and the server shows up with only one plate and one napkin. The way the seats are set up it wouldn’t be possible to both eat over one plate/table so I had to flag down the server to get one since they don’t check in at all. Not the end of the world, it was inconvenient more than anything. What frustrated me the most was the bar tenders attitude. After the movie we went to the bar to grab another drink and decided to let him know know that our drink order was messed up in the theatre (we weren’t complaining but just giving constructive feedback so that they can figure out a solution to do better). He responded with ‘oh yeah I remember that, you guys are just picky’ and completely dismissed our comment. All we ordered was one rum and coke and one tall diet rum and coke (pretty standard).‘Tim’ the bar tender either needs to take some customer service courses or move into a role that isn’t customer facing.

Curt Bennett

I see a movie here roughly once a month. Overall it's a well-maintained, higher-quality theatre. For a relatively new location though, it's surprising how many changes they've made. They don't seem to test their ideas before putting them in place. The best example of this is the relatively new swivel trays in the VIP cinemas. They're the definition of uncomfortable as an armrest when left at the side, they're lock-you-in-place tight for even an average sized person when swivelled around, and it means the only place to put your drink now is flat, slippery and unstable. Hopefully the theatre management starts learning from their mistakes. At least they finally removed that insane red window tint.

Elizabeth Sitz

General Manager was overly helpful & generously offered to rectify my situation...even though it was my error and not the theatres. Helpful, clean and great staff

George Yamine

Love the VIP section. Spacious seats, great service. Nice bar to swatch some sports before the movie too. Regular screens are great too, with 3D and non 3D. Prices are expensive for concessions...but everyone knows that already

Rahul Dhingra

Its amazing theater with VIP launge service in it. Although VIP theater doesnt give you any VIP experience but just allowance to drink alcohal while you watching movie. Staff isnt properly trained to give VIP treatement to guest. Management is super friendly. Had issue with movie called "Hardcore Hanery". Manager didnt only just allowed me to jump into another theater; she also gave me complimentry passes to VIP launge.

Jennifer Dodds

This theatre is amazing! We always go to the VIP section here where they offer in seat service for food, snacks, and even alcoholic drinks! The theatres are always clean, the sound and picture is good and the ticketing quick and simple.

Tina Balmer

Extremely disappointing. If you're looking for for VIP movie experience stay away from the Oakville VIP. I will never waste my money on going there again. Absolutely atrocious service, after 20 minutes of sitting at a table the one waitress was serving the lounge area never looked at us but checked in on the tables on either side of us. When she finally came over she asked what she could get us I Said menus would be a good start. She dropped off menus and never came back. It's not like the place was busy only 3 couples in the lounge and 1 of the couples was sitting at the bar. No excuse for this terrible service. I called the manager over to ask if there was a problem, and told him I brought my friends here for the first time so they could see the value of coming to VIP but that this was not even close to what you should experience at VIP. To his credit he apologized and took our orders and ran around doing everything himself. Unfortunately we ended up getting our dinners one at a time and they were lukewarm and we ended up being late so we couldn't order any drinks for seat service even though the staff still had time to take a last minute order before the movie started. I went to go get drinks for my guests. Fortunately the guy at the concession stand was much more helpful than our server and offered to help me carry the drinks back to our seat. We passed our service in the hallway taking an order into the same theater frown emoticon Couple of other things to note are, no VIP parking at this location and they sure need it here, the aisles are close together so it's hard to walk to your seat without tripping over someone, the VIP area was filthy, garbage and popcorn all over the floors and looked like it hadn't been cleaned all night, bathrooms where small and not kept clean. Oakville you need to step up the training with your staff on how to provide your customers with basic customer service let alone a VIP level of service and basic cleaning as well. In the meantime if you want a true VIP movie experience I would recommend going to the Queensway VIP they know how to do things right.

Eric Koehler

Considering the theatres were closed this whole time I thought it’d be a lot better of an experience. The food from the vip menu was ok but it seems the portion sizes are alot smaller now. The staff in the vip section also refused to make fresh popcorn and kept bringing the same cold popcorn back to us. Considering the prices of the popcorn to begin with I don’t think it’s too much to ask for hot popcorn.

Fervin

Theatre's are starting to get overpriced, especially with there food (increased every year). I used to go almost twice to three times a month. Started going to landmark, free reserved seating reasonable priced food.

mccarthy155

The VIP lounge area is impressive and surprisingly, not as over priced as most other movie theater concessions. A pint of beer was only marked up about $1-2 more than a regular bar. Great experience in their VIP area.

Joshua Da Silva

Great theater! VIP is a fun and unique experience but AVX has a bigger screen, better sound, and the option of DBOX seats

Andrew Singer

Bad food in VIP. Slow service. My wife and I went to see Avengers tonight. The VIP experience of watching a movie is great, but tonight we also ordered food. What a mistake that was. The food took forever to arrive, even though we arrived early and ordered hoping to get our meals before the movie started. Instead we had to eat in the dark. My chicken fingers were ice cold. No one in the theatre to complain to so I had to walk my food outside the theatre and knock on the service door. They brought the food back and just reheated my chicken, and added more sauce. But the wrong sauce. I didn't order hot. Thanks very much. Now my poutine was ice cold! Didn't feel like missing more of the movie to deal with it so I ate a terrible meal in the dark. Not pleasant at all, especially considering bout food bill was over $50.

Devon Clark

Always love going here. Staff are always friendly, very clean theatre as well. We (gf and I) have been back to this theatre every week for a month and a half now. Every time the staff greet us and bid us goodbye, super kind. Been going here for about 6 years now. Glad to back at the movies!!!!

Martina Deegan

seats were separated for social distancing and overall just a good regular theater

Scott Lantz

Great facility in general. I specifically love the VIP theatres which include larger seats, in seat food / beverage service, and more intimate size of the theatre itself.

Enid Gottlieb

Love the VIP lounge for grabbing a drink and snack before the movie! Theatre is never too busy and parking is easy.

Caleb Olson

Not bad. I preferred the smaller movies downtown Burlington. It feels so much more homey and relaxing. The movies are a month old but that's no reason not to go.

Ibrahim Asadullah

VIP is a total ripoff. The only convenience is that you can order food and snacks during the previews, but once the movie starts you get nothing. Also, the chairs are simply bigger, but don't recline backwards. Would not waste my money at VIP again

Thomas Baker

Great screen. No question there. However Cineplex feels increasingly behind the times compared to Landmark Cinemas with their ticket purchasing and insanely priced concessions. Long queues to get served vs a more rational and fast moving "bank queue" style line. Also the popcorn always tastes stale and artificial. Landmark's tastes clean like popcorn should - none of that fake orange stuff. Ugh I hate it. I actually drive 20 minutes to other chains to avoid it if I can. And lastly start adoption the seat selector for All movies. It just expensive AVX. Let me prepay and pick on any screen. Its 2018 the tech exists.

Devon C

This theatre is FABULOUS. My mom and I went to see Beauty and the Beast today for her birthday. There was some mix-up and we thought we weren't going to be able to watch it. My mom is very sick and this may be one of the last 'birthday outings' we'll get together, but I didn't even have to get into all that with management because they were right on-top of it and rather than suggest giving us a refund, they made it happen and we ended up with great seats an awesome experience. Thank you so much! You don't know how much it really meant to us.

Matthew Virgin

Skip their VIP, it is inferior to even when compared with the regular theater experience. The toilet paper dispenser didn't work, the seats were not very good, you couldn't order fountain drinks from the concession. There were not enough cup holders. Go to the Queensway VIP, it is a far, far better experience.

Kyle Murphy

Definitely one of the best ways to watch a movie. The price for VIP is a little much, but the lounge prior to the show is great and the theatre seating is the best.

Peter Day

Popcorn was fresh, staff was helpful, movie was OK... but we were 6 of 15 people in the whole complex. I have no idea how the theaters will survive these virus restrictions.

Ryan Cantin

Great to have the VIP option here. Nice Cineplex location. Generally nice and clean. The parking can be a little crazy during busy times.

Michelle Mahovlich

Alex was the most amazing person. She went out of her way to get us amazing seats and her customer service was amazing. Like I had never ever experienced at a theatre before. Gonna call her supervisor tomorrow.

Calvin Cox

Vip cinema was great, friendly staff, decent food, great decorations (loved the old movie pictures). Fries were cold but can't complain for ordering it from our seats and having it delivered by kind staff. Will be back

Scott M

Do not see movies in 3D here. Guardians of the galaxy 2 was blurry half the movie and Star Wars was blurry 100% of the movie. Almost unwatchable. They gave out free tickets but no explanation or apology. Do not choose this theatre. Also management was extremely rude to people expressing their frustration with the mov E being unwatchable - walked away from customers mid sentence.

Nicolas Matos

Conveniently located close to restaurants like Harvey's, Kelsey's and Milestone. Friendly staff. Food and drinks are expensive. Spacious and comfortable seats, especially in the VIP lounges. Fewer movies options available to pick from in comparison to other Cineplex theaters.

Jody Buchanan

This was a very fun experience. The service was excellent and the seats were well worth the extra cost. My one small complaint was that the fish and chips I ordered in the VIP lounge was dry and only came with ketchup, not tartar sauce or lemon. Other than that a very nice night!

Lyle Wood

Came with my girl to check out a flick on a Sunday evening. Lot was full but there was still plenty of space in the theatre and the staff had managed the crowds well. I recommend avoiding the pretzel bites, they had a fry-oil taste to them and were, frankly, extremely overpriced for something that was so bottom-rung. Found it a tad chilly inside but that is likely just me since my A/C unit has been on the fritz for a long time.

Courtney

I love this theater! The VIP option is more expensive but worth it for the comfy seating, food and drinks. The food is on the pricey side but you don't have to wait in the concession lines. The screens in the VIP are a little smaller but so it the actual theater. This location also offers 3D, dbox and ultravx screenings.

Sundeep

VIP is a cool experience. Food is pricey though and eating a meal in the dark can very challenging. A dim light with a 2 second timmer would be nice to have as part of the seat. Also, our seats didn't recline and wasn't sure if they were supposed to.

Gary Lobo

This is a great VIP spot. The theatre is a lot less packed on most days save for the weekends. We prefer going here than most other theatres

Triya Vadgama

Every time I go for a bollywood movie here, I am highly disappointed... seems like they always forget to turn on the sound system! ???? waste of money... can barely hear the movie dialogs... bollywood movies are all about music, dance and dialogs, and this Cineplex location fails to deliver that amazing cinematic experience solely because of the audio system that is never ever turned on to its full potential! I hope they improvise!

alira kaur

Watched a children’s movie. The place needs to be thoroughly steam cleaned! The flooring is filthy! The counters have liquids spilled all over them! For the amount of money you spend at one visit, one must demand quality in return! The staff is friendly and courteous, most are high school students and are not trained to do all required to maintain the complex. There needs to be a more experienced staff running the facility to provide the services required. I go because of convenience over anything.

Gabriela Moreno Ruiz

Great food, the staff was super friendly, friendly enough to hold our outdoor food while we went for the movies in the fridge!! Thank you sooo much!!! If anything I just wish the couches will recline but other than that excellent!!

Anders

The VIP experience is super nice, you can choose your own seats, order food and alcohol before the show, and sit in big ol comfy chairs. Staff is very accommodating and polite.

Kevin Bessette

Changed scene points rewards and discount for scene cards members at concession stand. New automated system doesn't read discount coupons so it meant standing in line twice... staff needs a bit more training in customer service. This lies directly in the hands of the managers. Lots of potential...

Gioated

The movies are good, but the times are horrible. The arcade was HORRIBLE, as I went to the arcade, as I usually do when I go to the cinemas, I played key master I play to see if I can win. I never do but, the one time I did they didnt give me the prize. I got the key through the hole and after me not getting what I should have they told me that the manager will call me. He called saying we didnt win and indirectly called us liars. The arcade sucks and I do not reccomend that section. You should go to another theater, this one simply lost its quality.

Alan Caballero

Great way to watch a movie with comfortably spaced large chairs and food and drinks. Bartender even made a custom drink for us. Go on Tuesday, the tickets are cheaper.

Rommy Lazcano

VIP is not worth it. If you want to be served, just go to a restaurant and save your money by simply going to a regular theater.. or pay for the reclinable seats (those ARE worth it)

Louai Abboud

I've been going to this location for years now. The movie experience meets all expectations while customer service personnel are extremely friendly and accommodating, however they can be a little slow at taking orders. Also, one recurring issue is the fact that most self-serve ticketing machines are out of order. Finally, surprisingly this location STILL doesn't have self-serve pop machines, which means it lack the drink optionality available at other Cineplex locations.

Megan Knights

Cineplex has removed social distancing in theaters without informing customers that have already pre purchased tickets. Cineplex uses to block out seats for distancing, since patrons are unmasked while eating or drinking. After tickets are purchased, the seats surrounding were blocked out, so there would be empty rows in front and behind all groups. Cineplex has now opened up all those seats, so there is no distancing happening at all. This has happened without informing people that already purchased tickets. We purchased on the assumption that we would be allowed to maintain distance, but people were unmasked, eating and drinking indoors, on all sides of us. Now people are going to the theatre after pre-purchasing, and only finding out on arrival that there is no distancing.

Lee andrews

This cinema location is my go to place for movies, it’s located on the border of Oakville and Burlington and is located just off the highway close to all kinds of restaurants if you want to make a night of it. Cinema offers all types of viewing experiences... 3D.... VIP with liquor license, lounge...comfortable seats and an arcade. Staff are friendly, theatres are clean, food selection is good, with the usual expensive theatre up charge.... but I know that going in. My son likes the made on the spot pizza and poutine, and I have had the wraps which are pretty good, if you want something different from popcorn. Overall a great family or date night location!

Kathy V.

(Food pics from VIP lounge.) VIP Cinema: It was alright. I don't like to 'nitpick' but I think I was expecting more for the $26+ per seat... something like eating dinner and enjoying cocktails WHILE watching the movie (or at the very least, all in the same area), with some free popcorn thrown in but instead we ate our meal separately in the VIP lounge (roughly another $170 for 5 people, no desserts included and 2 alcohol drinks), before hitting another area for the movie. We then paid another $16+ for 2 medium-sized popcorns. Chairs were comfortable but barely reclined and even then it was hard to keep it reclined. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and the meals were delicious, (but not enough for me, lol). Overall, it was nice to get out after civid lockdown for over a year...

Mark Xamin

The VIP area is top notch. Seems they have upgraded the seating in the VIP theaters as well as they are more comfortable than a while back. Great experience all around, and pretty good food.

Vraj Patel

Amazing. Very clean and transactions were quick. I lost my gloves in one of the rooms and there let me go back in during clean up. Plus the clean up crew helped my find them. Very kind staff. Great food aswell.

Ajay Adigopal

The best location I have ever been to . Love where it’s conveniently located in front of Montana’s grill, Harvey’s , nearby burloak drive . Lot of parking spots available, the service is amazing at the counters . VIP is amazing and always neat , the staff are really friendly and they do know what they are doing. A clean theatre with lot of good seats available most of the time. Better to book seats in advance and Even better to choose vip menu inside cineplex. ( cheaper) I love the fact that iconic scenes from movies are displayed on the way to vip entrance . I cried seeing all those moments in my life and they captured it , perfectly. I felt I belonged there . It felt like home .

Emma Field

Really nice, comfy seats and the impossible burger was fantastic! Really nice to be able to eat vegan at the luxury cinema. Wish the seats reclined, though, and that the popcorn butter was vegan.

Alex H

Great theatre. Picture and sound quality are good and the place looks and feels new. Popcorn breaks the bank a little, but that's the movies for you.

Kimberley Taylor

Lots of parking. Clean theatres. VIP area is nice except the bathrooms seem small and outdated when compared with other VIP theatres. They also only have an AVX screen, no IMAX.

Nathan Jervis

Tried a VIP film, definitely won't go back to regular ones now. The food was actually much better than expected. A delicious double stacked artisanal burger with truffle fries was my choice, and the food was of the quality you'd expect from a higher end restaurant, which made the prices worth it. And watching a film on the big screen while eating a burger and fries is just so much better.

Kevin Holbeche

The screen in Cinema 7 there has a noticeable rip or stain a bit above and to right of the centre of the screen.

Suarez Barboza

Visited on a Thursday evening with a potential snow storm coming. Whatever factor played in that, the place was almost empty. Nice to walk in and have any choice of seating. Overall clean complex, chairs are comfortable in the theatre and can lean back. The selection of food items is liken most cineplex today.

Thomas Drahaschnig

Movies are an escape.. And they did there job. And the staff in the V.I.P are very helpful in making your food experience a good one..

Ana Bastas

Typical movie theater! Clean, service is good, food is overpriced. I dont like that they don't provide you with a detailed receipt (in the vip) for your order...I have no idea if they're charging properly or not...

Cypherion 8

Went to see a movie at the VIP cinema and it was not a good experience. 10 minutes into the movie, it froze and we were advised that they would have to restart it. Ordered a pizza that was burned underneath, and then when the movie was over they did not turn on the lights, so everyone had to stumble around in the dark to get out. Voiced my disappointment to the manager on the way out and she apologized and gave us 2 free movie passes and a coupon for a free entree. The fact that she tried to make it right was why I gave this experience 2 stars instead of one. We probably won't we back to this theater.

Jessica Couch

This location is nice but they always seem to have an issue when we go. This past time it was the screens to show which movie was playing in what theater. The staff and food were good. However the staff didn't seem to really want to help when it came to finding your correct theater.

1960funnygirl

It's like all the rest, but the snack bar servers need to be trained a bit better. With the price of concessions, I always give my Scene card for points, but the girl forgot to ask and it was not a simple thing to get them to fix it. Then, when I got my popcorn with layered butter, for which they charged an extra dollar, it was SO dry and flavourless. They must be skimping on the seasoning and the butter to boost their bottom line, although I don't know how much more they want to make on a bag of popcorn that costs them so little to make. One small bag with butter was $8! Really?!?

abiicrombie

Service and food was great. Can't say the same about the theater though. VIP seating, yet LOTS popcorn/candy stuck in between seats as well as sticky floors. Not quite VIP-ish

K Kassem

Very slow service at the concession stand. Employees follow their script, "would you like a combo today", very strictly, and it can be awkward. I like choosing seats (avx) ahead of time, very convenient. Facility is nice, good amenities.

Shelley Leahy

Best way to watch a movie is as a VIP! Comfy chairs, in site service, leg room, and if you like, you can have an alcoholic beverage!

Alexandra van Asperen

Not the best VIP Theater that I've ever gone to. Seats do not properly recline and the floors were sticky. Considering it was 45 ish dollars for all of us to see Star Wars it was not an excellent experience. I would recommend going to a different VIP theatre as I don't think it represents the VIP experience well.

Eggplant Iguana

Clean nice and comfortable seats. Good food. Wouldn’t bother spending the extra for the AVX theatre but still a good experience.

M P

I love the VIP section they've added to this theatre. The service in the VIP section is really nice when you want to splurge on a night out. I also appreciate that you can choose your own seats in the VIP sections or the AUX theaters. When a new movie comes out I always recommend that me and my friends go to this theatre beacuse of those options.

Ritwik Rastogi

Great experience. We watched Marvel Avengers Endgame in an ultraAVX theater with DBOX seats. The 3D was amazing and the seats vibrations and movement was perfect. The one thing i think could be improved is on the displays above the food counter there are prices for all the combos but not for individual items. They should show all the prices. Other than that great experience.

Ricardo Alon

Very clean and comfortable seats

Deborah Gatenby

Love the VIP cinema here, the big comfy chairs with the tray tables and the wait staff to bring you your order to enjoy during the show. Being able to reserve a great seat in advance - especially for a popular new release is an added bonus.

Nikki Lux Makeup VLOG Chanel

Wish I could give zero stars This location is horrible I came here with me and my partner for a date night to see avengers end game to my surprise there was a bartender yelling at the staff A women in a business jacket with silver white hair who looked like a manager publicly argued with her And on top of that our order was 45 mins late when the food finally arrived it was cold and not even the right order asked for our order and the server walked away seems as though they don’t train there staff very well hmmmmm

Adam Tanner

Great viewing experience. Low on staff clearly due to covid. They need staff. Go and apply and make a difference

Matt

Had our annual kids Christmas party here. And I got to say it was a very nice setup. Super clean. Organized and the staff was very courteous. The main drawback was once you were in the theater. Very cramped and tight. Always felt like I was going to hit the seat in front of me. And I got very restless 1/2way through the movie due to the comfort of the seats. For the money spend on the main foyer. And concession area. They could have upgraded the seats like all other places. We are there for the movie.

Jason Shaw

Great movie theater. If you want VIP is there a place to go to I would have Burlington or also because it's the only one out of those two locations that has the adult seating. They don't accept discounts anymore or your scene card but you can still get points for free movies which isn't bad I recommend the ice cream and also some of the movies that are there pretty good. Check this place out if you're interested in a fun night have a great day.

Chris Duvall

Went to see Captain America in VIP. Midway through the theatre lost power and when the movie resumed there was audio but no visual. Staff handled with poor attitudes and refused to give voucher for future visit. Wasn't feeling like a VIP. Save your money and check out a different theatre.

REBECCA Anna

First time going during Covid. It was great! Only 5 ppl in our theatre, seats prepicked online, popcorn still delicious!!

Anita Jansz

Went to the VIP theatre, sorry to say seating was not that comfortable. Seats semi recline but don't stay in position. Also they continue to serve food after the movie starts which is distracting.

Ross Boustead

First time in the VIP section! Great seats and great service! Never have I had someone bring me Popcorn at the movie! No standing in line for popcorn.

Steve Szolman

Our theatre was not cleaned between movies. There were fries and garbage on the floors. Empty drinks everywhere. Very disappointed with this location. Think I'll just stay home and rent a movie from iTunes where it's clean.

Sean M

VIP area is great seats recline and are heated. Expensive ! Well over 100$ for movie and snacks.

Syed Ali Ishtiaq

Love the vip services and the general cleanliness

Tim Clarke

I went to see the new Star Wars movie and I had never been to a VIP theatre. My experience was awesome. The staff and service was great! I will never goto the regular theatre again, the extra cost is well worth it.

Ana Gonzales

Great selection, roomy and has the VIP option, great little play place and has a great option of foods you can purchase. I just think they are a little undered staff and the vip bar and food are overpriced

Shannon Villeneuve-Shulman

I'm only giving a 3 star rating because the VIP seats in the theatre are the least comfortable of the other 3 I've tried (Don Mills being the best as all the seats recline fully!). These seats do not recline at all (you have to actively push back for the whole movie) and also there is no cup holder so when you order dinner and drinks there isn't much space on the little tray whereas all other VIPs have that feature. Theatres are also small and the entrance is shared with the main entrance whereas other VIPs it is private.

Peter Cunningham

They are fantastic dealing with their Skip Orders.

Maria M

This theatre is so nice and clean. Love the floor plan. Its very organized. The staff is really nice. Their VIP cinema is amazing. Watched spiderman here at avx and was amazing. They got outakes too.

Awesome movie theater, great sound and video quality. However, the popcorn is somewhat expensive. The seats have good leveling so you don't have to worry about someone's head blocking your view and there are plenty of clean bathrooms. Also they have a drink machine with tons of different drinks, like Sprite, Fanta, Coke and much more. Each of the drinks come in multiple flavours like cherry, strawberry, vanilla, orange, lime and more. I recommend this place.

Jayson Payne

This was not a vip experience. Seats were small, dirty and floor was not cleaned. I wouldnt waste my money trying this one again. There are much better vip experiences in the GTA.

don varanelli

Place was pretty dirty, stairs leading up to theaters covered in popcorn, mens washroom in VIP area had urine all over the floor at 7pm and still there at 10pm when movie got out. Nothing was a VIP experience at this location. To be fair, the lounge was ok....had some pre-movie drinks here. Seats were comfy but much smaller than Kitchener location, the seat back reclines a bit but no full/motorized recline and no extra legroom like Kitchener. Wife had a closed-caption screen given to her that clamped to the table/armrest and it stuck up higher than her head (hard to enjoy the movie/read the captions when it sits in the center of the movie screen). We un-clamped it and she held it for the entire movie to make it usable. Every other theater has these devices and they sit in the cupholder. Guessing since this place also doesnt have a cupholder they had to improvise with their 3 foot long version. Figured we'd try this location since it was shorter drive for our friends but they even said they'll drive to Kitchener from now on.

Robert Hallett

Love the VIP Theater. You can order food and alcoholic drinks and have them brought to you and enjoy them while you watch a movie.

Eleanor Fulton

Try the VIP experience on your next date night. Dinner, drinks and a movie all at one location in the adult only VIP lounge! Plus the fully reclining leather seats, wide aisles, and in seat service make going to the theater a luxurious experience instead of a hassle. Wednesday they have a date night special, something like two movie passes and two entrées for $50.

Jakob Adam

I visit here frequently and have never had an issue. Staff is friendly and the theaters are clean. My only complaint is the long wait for purchasing from the concession stand. I arrive 20 minutes early to solve this issue and it works out fine.

Josh Bonus

The VIP theatre is always a fun date. The lounge is comfortable, with good drink and food selections. The fact that you can dine and watch a movie make it worth the extra bit of money. But if you're not into VIP the Oakville location still offers the standard cineplex experience.

Louis Lau

For opening weekend of Tenet, this place is quite. On a regular Sunday, this place would be packed. There were less than 10 cars in the lot at 11:45am. We have reserved tickets for noon. Once inside, there were 4 people in the lobby. Got our popcorn and drinks, got to our seats in no time. 3 seats separate us from the next customer on either side of us and no one in the row in front and behind us. We felt pretty safe with this distancing. I counted 12 people for this show. Tenet can be a bit confusing to follow at times. I'll give it 8/10. Used the men's room before leaving the cinema. Surprised there is distancing at the sink area but nothing in place for the urinals. Mask use is mandatory in common areas, except when eating and drinking at your seat.

Mark Johnston

Nice big seats, don't have to come early and line up. For casual movie goers, worth the price

Justin Mandula

My wife and I went to the VIP theater at this location. It's a little pricey for tickets, but it is definitely worth the cost of the tickets. It is 19 plus, so you don't have to worry about crying kids or things of that nature. It is also licensed so you can have alcohol while watching the movie. They also have staff in the theatre itself, so you can order off a menu and have it brought to your seat. Would definitely recommend seeing a movie in this location.

Daniel Mogylevsky

It's nice. The VIP is pretty trash actually. Visit else place for a better VIP experience! Regular, the screen is pretty small. The food here is expensive but is okay.

Happuka John

It's great for the most part except the food which isn't that exceptional and the theatre seating isn't as much as expected. The snacks are really good though and they usually have a good variety of movies to watch.

Patrick Lee

Great location with parking and a separate area for VIPs. They have a good selection of dinner foods like pizza, burgers plus the usual movie fare like popcorn candy and nachos.

Melanie Sinclair

Mixed feelings about the theatre. I have been when it has been busy and a number of the kiosks weren't working. The parking at this location is an issue as they share it with 3 restaurants. I prefer to go when it isn't busy to avoid this. I don't mind paying the extra $5.00 for VIP to ensure my seat and not to have some kid kicking the back of it throughout the show. I also like the additional food items and the fact that you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your movie.

Cindy Saavedra

Seated food service should end when it is posted on the screen. Allowing people to order and delivering the food after the movie has started, disrupts others .including the view of the movie. Delivering in the dark also includes hazards as the attendant stepped on my toes (in sandals). Someone also complained about something and they brought a manager in, during the movie, and tried to resolve their issue too. Too many distractions.

Ashley Elliott

First experience in VIP! Nice and intimate feeling, with seat service before show starts. Liked the entire theatre overall.

Kristian Fry

I am sending this message in regards to your Cineplex Silvercity Oakville and VIP.We had what was some of the worst experience. To start when we arrived which was at the Theater which was at 11:00am. The Doors were locked yet had customers in side. Now I understand they had some special event that had started in the morning, how ever there was no reason to have had the doors closed and locked up till 11:30am when you have movies that started at 12pm. That didn't really give the Customers a whole lot of time to get some food before the movie would start. Second: We had paid to use the VIP, when we went up no one had bothered to check out ticket. A kid could so easily have gotten into the theater or anyone that did not pay. And lastly the food. We had ordered just a simple burger and Poutine. When the first order had arrived, it was stone cold. We had informed the employee that was delivering the orders, who then took them and had gone to bring us a new order which for the second time was stone cold. By this time the Movie had already started. The girl that delivered the food tried to tell us it was because the cheese was cold, well for one you don't use cold cheese for Poutine second the fries them selves were cold so was the Burger for both orders. The girl had asked me then to go with her to the Concession stand, which now causes me to miss parts of the movie. When I arrive there is another girl there that had made a comment that if she were to cook it any longer the Burger and fries would be burnt. That may have been but dose not mean it may not have been stuck sitting out for longer then it should have. So after a wile a manager did come and agreed to give us our money back and a new order for nothing. Well to be frank though I an grateful that the manager tried to make it up the food was terrible. The texture and taste was so bad, it didn't even have simple Ketchup for it. That site clearly needs to have its staff retrained on what to do and how to cook. It is safe to say that the next time I use a VIP it wont be that one. Your Queensway location's perfectly is perfectly fine, this location leaves much to be desired.

Chris Busch

Great safety protocols and very clean - made us very comfortable returning to the theatre.

Charles Gauthier

Charged $5bucks for a large cup of water. Offered the free 4 oz paper cup but if you want a large cup, got to pay... Otherwise nice move theater big clean stadium seating. VIP is nice for the occasion adult date night.

E Szeto

Went to see a movie in VIP, but no one took our order, soI had to go to the front to get it myself. When I asked if they had orange crush they said to go downstairs if I wanted that. The popcorn tasted stale too. Not really the VIP experience I was hoping for.

Nigel Saunders

Took the old man to see "1917" at the new VIP cinemas at Winston Churchill today...theaters are nice, full electronic recliners with heated seats, only 60 seats per theater, 19+. The order at your seat option needs to be tweaked, people were getting their popcorn 5 minutes after the film started, kind of annoying. Dad and I had a beer in the lounge before the film started, prices reasonable, Dad asked the waiter what "local craft beers" they had...I felt bad for the kid that answered as he was genuinely nice but he said "we have Goose Island, Budweiser, Stella". Being in Oakville you would assume they would have a true local craft like Camerons...their actual selection was Mill Street...meh, pretty mainstream nowadays, and I could care less about craft/hoppy stuff. Good concept but staff need some better training; for example the pleasant hostess that welcomed us was doing other things and people were showing up at the entrance and waiting...bartender looked over and saw them but didn't acknowledge or greet them as he was stocking...again, he was very nice but needed a sense of urgency to take care of guests. Can you tell I'm in the industry? lol

Anderson Magri

Lesser crowded than the other theaters, the place is well maintained and have a great staff. But the VIP experience is not so good: 3x the regular price for a smaller screen and uncomfortable seats just for a waitress to serve you? No way...

Soroosh

Quiet, clean and followed health guidelines very well. Feel safe going to the movies here.

christine jf

Great place for movie! Clean seats, friendly staff!

Tracy Mellon

Very comfortable seating

Kay West (PR)

Love going here for the Stars and Strollers program. Stroller parking, change table, lots of seating, great film choices. Good for kids under the age of one.

Chris Malmstrom

It's pretty cool being served food and drinks while in your seat, but people were still being served 10-15 minutes after the movie started, which is an unwelcome distraction. Also every seat has its own table, which are pretty much in the way if you're not using it.

serafin sardoma

Cool and fun place to skip out of stress Covid Era

Mary M.

Went to see the latest star wars movie in the VIP area! The service was great and totally worth the money if you want to enjoy a movie without any kids or lots of people in the theatre.

Uncmike1969

The VIP experience should be felt by everyone, at least once. Viewing a movie in a luxurious setting with better everything, including food and drink options. Your movie viewing isn't complete without it.

Matthew Fraboni

Excellent service and staff. Usually go VIP which is great. Love the fact that you can order in your seat and they bring it right to you. Keep in mind you can't order combos (popcorn, drink, candy) in your seat. Food and Drink is very good, wish there was a couple more options on the menu for food. Overall highly recommend.

Brian Mc

This theater is really nice. The VIP is always clean and great costumer service friendly staff every where you look

Steve Dufresne

The movie wasn't full screen, also the seats are not comfortable enough for a 3 hour movie. Really surprising for a VIP experience.

Laura Maldonado

This is our choice when we want to see a movie in VIP or AVX. Love that they usually have more non-3D showtimes compared to other locations. VIP generally shows movies in both 3D and regular here, so it's been our go-to recently as my husband & I don't prefer 3D. Always a good experience here, we've done the in-seat service a few times, it's always fast and staff are super friendly. This theatre is huge and the plaza it's located in has several sit down restaurant & fast food options, such as Montana's, Kelsey's, Harvey's, etc. Tons of parking too.

Mike D

Fantastic. Great movie experience. If you don't use the washroom. Absolutely disgusting. Both men's and women's washroom were a horror movie in themselves. Judging by the smells from the patrons who decimated said washrooms, they (Cineplex) should offer some vegetables to their guests.

Linda Fox

Starting to look a little worn around the edges and the washrooms are never very clean or tidy. But it's still a great way to watch a movie. Menu of food/drinks has expanded and has some great choices.

Andrew Febbraro

The seats do not recline! So much for a VIP experience.... The front row seats are waaaaay to close to the screen. If you want neck problems, get the front row, but if not, do not get them

David Fleet

Absolute Worst Experience Went to see White Boy Rick 9/21/2018, in theatre 2 myself and my partner both complained to separate staff members (including 2 managers) that the images were incredibly dark. We were informed that it was the movie - no online reviews mention the film be near impossible to see in 50% of scenes - and that nothing was wrong with their projector. Terrible customer service lets hope in the future they maintain the projectors with a little more frequency.

Rodney Pritchard

Wasn't happy seems making customer happy is not a concern.... we ordered nachos and the kid put mustard on it, didn't notice till sitting waiting for movie. I brought them back no apology and he was like well I have to make a new one now! Duh!! Yes you do and not only that what if I had a mustard allergy. So tired of this service. ..happens alot

Kenneth Owen

Great movie viewing but the in seat food service is awkward. The armrest tables are small do not adjust. To fit the food trays you must either wear a corset or have and of steel.

Daniel S

It's an okay theater. I have only attended the VIP section here, and have not been to the normal cinema. - this place loses marks from me because sometimes my food is cold when brought to my seat. Also for some reason they don't have cup holders.

Danielle H

Nice theater. Unfortunately the service to buy food is bad. The workers have an attitude, they give people other people's orders and they just chuck food on the floor.

ARVI MATHAROO

Great job opening post Covid. Book tickets online easily and seats are blocked off when you get there. Food was good and staff was very helpful and professional. Concession was closed but in seat dining was available. Washrooms were cleaned regularly.

Jonathan Lui

Back to movie for the first time in 2 years. Felt safe enough.

Nisa L

So disappointed this wasn't a true VIP! The chairs were smaller and the seats didn't recline. You can't even put your feet up! There's no room :( I enjoyed my movie and the food was great, despite it taking a bit longer than usual and not being able to order from my seat bc their machine was down. Only thing saving the review was the service which was good, not great, just good. Next VIP, I'll stick to Toronto. Same cost, better value.

Alex Furman

We have celebrated out daughters birthday party at this location. The staff was extremely helpful and organised. Really good experience. Highly recommend!

Becca Lawlor

This theatre is a personal favourite. Even though it is not the closest, I akways make go the extra miles for the luxery of this theatre. Service is not always as fast and employees are sometimes rude, but overall well worth the patronage.

Jack Dawson

Very nice movie theatre. The VIP experience is amazing. The menu there is unexpected and shockingly great! The pulled pork pizza is delicious. The drink selections are also fantastic! I recomend trying the VIP lounge on a Friday or Saturday night as they have a great bartender on those nights named Rick. He has been there a long time as is great to talk to and makes the best drinks. Our server was absolutely the best we had had in a long time. I believe her name was Sam. The VIP experience is very highly recommended. It is a little on the pricy side but it is to be expected. Reserved seating, food and drinks delivered to your seat and NO KIDS! Had a great time this past weekend at the Cineplex in Oakville.

Christine Kluczynski

Theatre was great. My daughter wanted to play at the arcade afterwards. I ended up buying a $25 play card. Complete waste of money. We had one game work for us. All of the games cost $1 and up. The balls for ski ball would not come back on their own, several machines took our money but did not work (pac man, connect four). There was only one girl working there and she was kind enough to add points back but what good is it if there are no machines to play? Of course the $4 one where you try to win a huge ball was functioning (coincidental?). The employee told me that they have been having issues with machines and the ski ball machine hasn't been functioning in the 5 years she has worked there. I now have a $25 card that is effectively useless. Steer clear of the arcade! Totally disappointed as was my daughter.

Deanna Crawford

Love the theatre so it would be 5 stars if there was vegan options. The staff did not seem interested in crafting up an option in the restaurant so I just had popcorn :)

Karim N.

I used to go to the Cineplex VIP on Queensway and the experience at Oakville definitely feels less "VIP"...food is expensive at the concession, i ordered a pizza and i was a little put off when i saw how it was getting prepared by the cashier...

Charlene

My fiance and I went to VIP theatre. Good experience except for the people next to us. They ordered so many different things and the staff kept coming into our row and stood right in front of me every time. Staff could have moved closer to them OR gone into empty row in front of us. It probably happened 6 or more times and made me feel as if I weren't as important a guest as these people!

hema latha

The E-Gift card purchased from Cineplex Website, was not honored at this place and We ended up buying tickets with cash. The Manager on duty (Jan 01, 2017 @ 8:00 PM) did not even bother to come say a word or make a suggestion and Staff just did not do anything but say, we are looking for a Giftcard Number on the Voucher and not the number received in email. THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SELLING...

Gayle W

I'm sure they tried to make a VIP theatre but they really should have visited iPec VIP Theatres in the USA first. This VIP theatre had No leg room, seats neither go back nor do feet go up, the backs have a "bit" of give but the seats are so "heavy" that its impossible to keep them back without pushing backwards very hard & getting a headache. Its just like the other reviews read - its like they replaced the regular seats with bigger seats with no thought to space. At iPec theatres in usa you push a button for the waiter to come throughout the movie, nobody can hear the buzzer - only the staff, since there is So Much Room, staff never interfere with other customers. The seat backs recline & feet go up again. They cut off getting food the moment the movie starts which actually makes them lose a lot of profit, for one thing they start serving the food late so customers never get to order desert and you can not order extra drinks. In the USA, you give credit card with first thing you order & ordering throughout the evening simply gets added to your credit card. I will say the food was very good - nothing wrong with their menu. They wasted a lot of money trying to put in a VIP but in my opinion failed on so many levels and it would have cost less to do it right.....I won't be back, I actually have a headache from being so 'stiff & upright' in that soft but stiff upright chair.

Fiarus Gaming

Honestly one of the better ones. But their AVX isn't currently 3d, so I paid $26 for a D-Box ticket, not in 3d which feels pretty dumb.

Ted Holden

Love the VIP theatres. Lots of room and great food. Designed so you don't notice anyone else around you.

Lorna Godsave

The oakville movie theater was good , people who work there were very helpful, we saw a movie called isn't it romantic it was a good movie, I like that if there is a movie you wanna see & it's not in a theater in your city u can find it at other theaters. It was very clean place. I had a poutine which was very good. It's in a good location with a few restaurants around, down the road some stores like dollarama.

debbie long

Went recently to see the hobbit movie, was not too impressed with the theatre. The seats were not as they described, I found them very close together and like the normal seats not much arm rest area. There was no table for food as described. The washroom was very small and no tissue paper. That being said, I have to say the waitress was very friendly and the screen and sound effects were very good. I was expecting it to be a bit better reading the description they give on the web site compared to what it actually was. For me, I would not be inclined to go back as I don't think for the extra money you are really getting what they describe.

Tess Moffat

Went to see Shang-Chi in VIP. Amazing service and the seats were fantastic! Ordered the nachos and my only complaint was the cheese had already cooled when I got them so they were a little messy (but still delicious)

crystal pettman

Took my Mom to see her first VIP movie today, although the staff were friendly the theatre was DISGUSTING. When we sat down there was food and garbage wedged in between the seats and when I tried to clean it off I found a knife stuck inside the seat. I never leave reviews, but a knife? Paying $45 for two people to see a movie plus whatever else you spend money on, you’d think they could afford to clean the theatre between showings. Won’t be returning to this particular theatre.

John Horgan

Spiderman was great. Shame that covid rules don't allow food or drink

Ron Bertrand

Lined up for 20 min for popcorn and then therr is no butter available i mean what is popcorn without butter . Its like a movie with no popcorn. SO I didn't buy the popcorn at their ridiculous price with no butter. It kind of ruined the movie out experience. Very disappointed.

Cesar Ruano

It was fun to come back to the theater, and I felt safe.

Kevin Self

Great movie theater clean and bright. Lots of good food choices around also. The parking lot gets full on Friday and Saturday nights though so plan ahead.

Paul Jefferson

First movie during covid. Very courteous and professional staff. And no lines! At least not at 3pm!

Kaitlin Pierson

Love the VIP experience. I was pleased with the quality and taste of the food. Gluten free Nachos with guacamole is fantastic!

Victoria Aleinik

Very clean and spacious lobby. Friend had the crispy chicken burger and it was s*it. But the fries were good.

찐찐

I go to cineplex at least once in a 2 weeks, among all the cineplex I visited before, Cineplex Oakvile and VIP is my favorite due to the cleanliness and less traffic. Obviously, theatre size and screen size might be little smaller than other bigger theatres, but you can focus on movies at this location without being disturbed by others!

chantal smith

First time in a VIP theatre. Seats were great, food was excellent and the staff were good The show we seen was not crowed so it worked out well. However, had it been!, there was limited staff serving which would have made it impossible to serve everyone.

Jonathan Shoss

As suburban movie theatres go, this is a solid one. You get the usual experience but this one has VIP and various other specialized theatres. Lots of teens on weekends especially during the summer, and also families. Lines can be long for food and drinks - one area that definitely needs improvement. Oddly, there's only one station for popcorn topping, napkins, etc.

Matty Lapoint

Bought VIP tickets to watch the new spiderman with my girlfriend. Was told we can't eat in the theatres starting today and they were not making food unless you were downstairs in the restaurant. This is a complete waste of my money and it's conned me out of an extra $20. The whole point of VIP is that it's a restaurant in the theatre. You guys just robbed me out of a date and a fun experience. Thanks.

Steven Twiss

Great movie experience. Like all theatres the food was over priced, but not your typical movie food. Well prepared and served right to your seat.

Matt P

Love the VIP just a little costly but worth it in my opinion. I enjoy the other theatres to here as well!

Mitch Seekins

Great place to see a movie. Big comfortable theaters, or smaller VIP theaters where you can have a burger and a beer delivered to your seat... Fully equipped with the latest theater technology for fantastic sound and viewing. A 10 out of 10 in terms of theaters

Joanne Macdonald

Parking was very convenient. The staff were more than polite and helpful. Seating is very comfortable. I would give this place 10 stars.

barbara pflucker

Service is good but the seats are very uncomfortable! They do not recline you have to do the effort and push them so is very uncomfortable! Do not recommend paying $20 per person just to be able to drink wine or alcohol! Have a glass in the bar and watch the movie not in vip and save some money

John Hatcher

I have been here on several occasions and it’s always crowded. I will say – the staff is OK for the most part the, but go early because the lines are always long. I been to the VIP theater yet, but I have heard the it is a good experience. As soon as I try out the VIP I will let you know how it is, or if you’ve been there let me know - Thanks.

Mike Pelletterio

Food service very disappointing. Thought we would try the Wednesday night VIP movie and food package and after waiting 20 minutes and one food order ready we were told that they were out if lettuce for my wife's order and would need to order something else. Not right at all and really ruined the evening.

Debbie

Need better way to do vouchers and passes. Huge lineup. Why can't their app scan these. I spoke to several people in line that tried to enter their vouchers online or coupons, this would reduce lineup. Why can't their app take picture or scan? Also get scanners that work so entering to theathre is not bogged down. Only one entrance and one guy. Inside theathre was good and comfortable.

Gillian Hargreaves

Tried the VIP seats they were good, not great as I had hoped. Their on tap options were great. The ladies bathroom was a mess.

Mark Woodley

Glad Cineplex rethought their policy of wearing masks, I regret that inside spaces will still delay me returning to their theatres due to poor HVAC systems until the current public health crisis abates and a vaccine is available but this is just my opinion. This location at Wyecroft Rd. & Burloak Dr. comes with the improved unobstructed lobby layout so it never seems too crowded. Lots of parking surrounding along with the Cara Food Group restaurants: Milestones, Kelseys, Montana's, Swiss Chalet & Harveys ready to serve you before of after your movie or event. Excellent access to QEW/403 access. Have used this location for a birthday party and staff could not have been more helpful. VIP level available but haven't been upstairs in a while now but worth it if you're fine with the additional cost and preferred guest amenities. VIP 18+

Devon Willock

Really comfortable seats, it's a shame Doug Ford changed the rules so no Food or drinks. But it was great ????

Macross chingchangchong

my first time in a "VIP" theater. there was a few things I liked and disliked. some of those feelings were at the same time about a few things. the good: the seats. in seat service. upscale look. good audio and video. almost empty room(that's because it was an off time however). good concept. the bad: the seats. in seat service. price tag. quality of food. So let me explain. the seats, are nicer as one arm folds up making a "love seat". love the concept, however when trying to get comfortable in a cuddling position which is the entire point mind you... the sides or arms rests and "table" contraption digs into your side. making it very uncomfortable. good idea badly executed.. so its a great idea to have a table? sure! place you food and.. drink..? no, no cup holder? alright. okay lets actually use it.. I'm a big guy not fat but big with the "table" fully extended it actually dug into my belly... like only 100 lb people get to be "VIP's" these days? also its your arm rest and yup.. its hard as a rock prepare for arms falling asleep. so good idea bad execution. in this theater it seems like all they did was rip out the old seats and installed these new seats without any widening on the lanes. ill get to that after. another cool new thing is the seat recline, very nice... however they recline and (decline?) so readily that eventually your shirt or in my case shirt and sweater rode up to the middle of my back.. I had to get up and tuck in my shirt and sweater into my pants just to be able stay seated. their should be a mechanism with a set of springs to "control the rate of recline". not flopping around like a beached whale. so good idea, badly executed.. again.. long review.. yeah and this is only about the seats! geez right? The service. its nice I quite like it. However.. since the lane ways were not widened the poor server and order taker needs to climb over people just to service you. now I feel a bit guilty not only am I making a person trip over other peoples feet.. I'm also making the other peoples experience less enjoyable.... just because I'm too lazy to get off my butt and get something for myself. so in the end I just feel like getting things for myself. so maybe make the laneways bigger more room for the servers and hey another benefit more leg room! feels like I'm in a plane.. and its not like I can ask for a refill halfway through the movie anyway. and I can imagine when the theater is full its pandemonium. how the heck do servers keep track who's been served and who's not who just sat down who been there for a while.. no wonder some people get missed. so yes again... lol good idea, badly executed.. so now the food... I would like to know... since when did bar food turn into "VIP" food? burgers? fries? salads?.... served in paper bowls n plates.. really? I'm not asking for a world renown chef and a prime cut of beef for him to work with..but c'mon make me feel like a VIP. and yeah.. well sir that's what the VIP lounge is for... look, the lounge is just like a restaurant ... so why wouldn't I just go to I don't know a restaurant I like. because you want to turn a movie night into a wallet buster. and try to take every penny you can from movie goers. pretty greedy.. so in my opinion seems like a slap in the face. do the in seat "fine dine" or stick with the lounge. not a good idea and even still badly executed. The price is a rip off the seats should be in regular theaters. but just because the company invests an extra 200 bucks per seat installed means you have to pay more. heaven forbid if the company actually cared about how enjoyable the experience is. instead of what's the payback period of their initial investments. looking at charts and statistics.. just like everything greed ruins everything. Well that's some of my thoughts on the VIP experience had to cut a bunch out because of exceeded character limit... at least I picked a good movie to watch. In the end ill probably never bother to experience this again. if this is what a VIP is like I'm just as happy being a regular joe blow.

Jolene Hunt

Fantastic. Its love seats that you have a choice of lifting up the middle arm rest or leave it down. Roomy seats and leg room. Can order from your seat before the show, even if it's just a water. Plus its +19 so for the most part you get the mature crowd just wanting to watch the movie. And for movie food/pub apps it's not bad. We usually dont order food, bit when we have it's okay. Drinks are watered down. So order a beer, if you want alcohol.

Sam Z

Good service, just wish the seats were more comfortable like some other theaters.

Marianna D

For my first time I was disappointed in the overall experience. We got in the theatre and the hostess pointed us in the direction of our seats. While waiting for the previews to start my husband and I noticed that everyone except for us were being served! Apparently the hostess is supposed to ask if you would like a menu when you go in, and we got no such service. I was so frustrated that I didn't even bother with asking, I spent $19 per person for nothing special. On the bright side, the movie was good and it was nice being an all adult theatre, but definitely not worth the extra money. I hope everyone else's experience is a lot better then mine!

norman t

Great VIP theater. Staff is very attentive and friendly. The VIP restaurant area and video game area is also a great place to hang before or after a movie

ramandeep sethi

Best place and sraff is very good

Elle S

For the first time, I am really disappointed with my entire movie experience. My moms, grandma and I had planned to see Spencer for weeks and we were so looking forward to it. From the start when we walked inside, the gentleman running the Covid screening stand belched aloud in front of us,’and no manners to follow. Gross. And then at the concession stand it was a long wait. A long wait at 2 open registers but with 8 employees behind the counter? Popcorn was another disappointment, it tasted like it wasn’t cooked/popped completely. The big disappointment was the audio issues throughout the entire movie. I personally went and spoke to someone about it twice that the audio for when the actors are speaking, it was so muffled and faint, none of us could hear anything. Couldn’t even chew my not so worth it popcorn or I really couldn’t make out any words spoken. After 25 minutes they attempted to fix it in the projection room. They paused the movie and I guess it was to adjust volume settings, but not successfully. Don’t think they bothered checking after that to see if it did any good. And by that point I didn’t want to try a third time to bring it to their attention. I know it’s a Monday night and there were only 9 of us in the theatre, but I’m still surprised there was no compensation for the poor movie experience. It’s a shame because I don’t really know what majority of the movie dialogue was. I think I’m going to avoid this theatre, which is a shame because growing up it was always my go-to.

Saw 007, certainly worth it ????

Food they serve at VIP is just fine and so are the seats. They do serve alcohol and they have a bunch of options which is on the plus side. Overall fair ..The seats where the biggest downer..they could have a better pushback option if not recliners.

Ivan Hinds

Superbowl@the movie theater????? Loved it! Comfy lounge chair, big sçreen, big sound,, service (including alcohol)ordered from, and delivered to your seat!???? ????

Nancy Tweedie

Ate in the VIP not very roomy and cramped when eating. Seats used to recline but now they don't. Disappointed. But food was okay if expensive and service was good.

Tony Demenyi

We chose the VIP experience to view Joker. Seats are oversized and comfortable. I really enjoyed my food and beverage delivery as well. The quality of the food was restaurant quality.

Most horrible experience ever booked vip tickets to Ford vs Ferrari drove from Mississauga during rush hour 1.5 hr and was told teens are not allowed in VIP . We waited 20 minutes just to enter the theatre To find out we were not allowed. Got our tickets refunded and the manager offers an appetizer coupon for inconvenience. The next movie didn’t start for another hr. Will not be coming back to this theatre again.

Ryan Waddell

Starting to feel a little bit like it could use a bit of a reno. Food/snack service is a bit slow/disorganized. I think if they pulled the soda fountains out and switched to self-serve machines the way the Winston Churchill one has, they could speed things up and improve the flow.

Went at 7pm on a Saturday and there was absolutely no parking. Came back to a later movie and was fine. Actual theatre is great, always clean and quick service!

Rabi Abrahim

Seats were booked online before we arrived; everything was super clean. Had a question about the points I collected for that visit, the manager did help me understand the new system. Best of all you can have drinks in regular theatre!

Yousuf Elashi

Awesome experience! The seats I got were vibrating with every fight and jump from watching the new Spider-Man! Awesome experience

Ari Pasha

Horrible service. We ordered tickets to A movie. There was no line up or anything for that movie. We hung out at the bar while waiting for the movie to begin. When going to the theatre. There were NO seats available at all. Not even at the front. When we requested a refund because we literally were not able to watch the movie. The manager was upset with us, giving us attitude. We weren’t the only ones. It was us an another family. She was very stressed out at the situation but this is not my fault. I apologized for bringing this on her and no reaction at all. Just ignored me. I feel like there needs to be better customer service. You caused an inconvenience to me. Why am I apologizing to you? I honestly hope her night gets better though.

Erich B

Nice to be able to see a movie again. Staff were super friendly

Kai Kim

First time viewing VIP was great. Not that kids are bad, but you really get some quiet movie viewing time in VIP seats

Megan K

Great theatre. Very spacious and open giving an inviting feeling. VIP theatres are now SUPER comfortable after they renovated them. Can sometimes be understaffed, but as long as you get there semi-early (~15 minutes) for your movie, you should be good.

smart hitarth

Classic screen, amazing sound system

Justmeles McVean

VIP Very comfy seats and having a beer while watching a movie was nice! We went elsewhere for dinner but the food we saw ordered by others looked good! We'll remember for next time!

Trevor Sullivan

I sat in a dark room and watched moving pictures on one of the walls for a few hours. Chairs facing the moving picture wall is a plus. Technology is amazing!

AB

Pretty good theatre in a great location. This theatre is located close to the highway and steps from a few different restaurants so you can easily go for dinner and then walk over to see a movie. I saw Venom in the VIP section last week and while the staff were very nice I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the theatre. There was popcorn between and all around the seats that I purchased but I guess that's to be expected for a movie theatre. Overall it was a good experience though.

Arawn A.

Great movie theatre. First time in the VIP section. What a wonderful experience. No children disturbing the movie, amazing seat service and you get to pick your seats so no searching for the right spot.

Stephen Leclerc

Went to the VIP here with my girlfriend. We both had a great time and the food was great. We had the spinach dip, pulled pork poutine and the shrimp tacos. All amazing. They do a great job at this theatre.

Very accommodating staff! So glad we can be back at the movies!

It was great up until the mojitos I order came to me and my boyfriend the first time and I said "no that is not a mojito" and the server said "that's how we do our mojitos, it's a raspberry sour fizz mojito" are you kidding me? Lol I even tried it and it tasted like minute maid limeade slushie. She FINALLY took our drinks back and got us MOJITOS like I asked for all along. And mine was made with sugar syrup last. Have you ever had a mojito that had the sugar creep up on you all at once? No? Maybe because you had it done proper. I didn't. It was the worst drink ordering experience I ever had. Especially when she tried convincing me a slushie is how they make their mojitos

Stephanie K

It's always great here! Comfortable seating, relatively clean, good VIP section and selection. Adiqut parking. Always a good selection of movies, from new releases to being out for a few months

I went to a showing here this afternoon in the VIP section. We come here all the time and I have to say it was the worst experience my husband and I have had. We saw a 3:45 showing and arrived at the theater and got to our seats well before the alloted time they stop the seat service. With only 7minutes left till showtime we didn't see one person on the wait staff. No one asked us for our order but the onscreen announcement that seat service was ending had come on and we hadn't gotten anything to eat or drink. I had to go to the concession (following 3 other people from the theater i was in) and there were 4 other people in line and only 1 girl was serving (very slowly) Meanwhile 2 or 3 wait staff for the VIP theaters were doing something off to the side. Needless to say when it was finally my turn, I ordered standard theater food (not that there's any problem with this) but we came and paid SPECIFICALLY for the VIP service. And when I got back to my seat, with the previews almost finished at this point, my husband said that the waitress had been in there. But when he tried to wave her over she had ignored him. And finally, to top off the most perfect afternoon, once the film started playing, something onscreen was off as it was supposed to be in 3D and I thought I was going to throw up watching it or it had to do with where we were sitting. Something was wrong with the film itself and took 20 minutes into the movie for the projectionist to realize that the 3D was visually off. For lack of a better description. Super disappointed with this theater because it's honestly one of the most beautiful I've ever been to. I learned from this experience to never see a movie before 7pm. I guess the day staff can't handle it? I never post reviews for anything but I was just so disappointed and mad at this theater and these employees today. Going to the movies is not a cheap outing at all anymore. In fact, its more of a luxury these days. So to have such a bad experience, I needed it to be out there so hopefully someone who runs this theater will know and address the issue and try to fix it. Sincerely, A disappointed avid movie goer

VIP is not worth the extra money. Seats are small and crowded. Terrible service will never go back. Lankmark theater's 100 times better.

Brian Lintner

This theater and VIP set up are pretty good. Two of the four purchasing kiosks were down (needs paper error). A third kiosk was giving people problems - too many gummy sticky fingers? However, the two sales people working the registers were much faster than the machines, and pleasant. Three stars because technology upon entry was wonky.

Yesterday our party of 4 tried out the VIP theatre for the first time at the Burloak Cineplex. While we liked that the seats were more spacious, we unanimously agreed that we would never purchase VIP seats again for a few reasons. First, we waited a long time at the VIP concession to order our snacks. We noticed the regular concession area had no lineups, but we were told the VIP area also has concession. And yes, we know we could have ordered from our seats, but that isn't a service that appealed to us. There was only one cash open at the VIP concession and the representative was very slow. There were only two couples ahead of us but it took almost 10 minutes to be served. Second, while the seats were more spacious and had a narrow table on the arm to put snacks, there was nowhere to put our drinks other than on the table, which is a recipe for spilling disaster. We all prefer having a cup holder. Third, while the wait staff did not take orders past when the movie started, they took order right up until the movie started and therefore for the first 10 minutes of the movie, wait staff were serving food and drinks to people, blocking the view of others. Our view of the film was blocked 3 separate times. Fourth, we did not find the seats better than the regular theatre. They slightly reclined, but didn't stay in position so you had to use your force and muscles to stay reclined. We also found them very hot.

My favourite movie theatre in the Burlington/Oakville/Mississauga area. Always clean, service is good. The theatre is large enough that even when busy, everything moves pretty quickly. With AVX IMAX and VIP this theatre provides lots of options. Go on tuesday! For half off all prices. VIP theatre on Tuesday is an amazing choice.

Bold Orange

I haven't been to the VIP side of things, so I can't comment on that. The rest of the theatre was just like any other Cineplex theatre. It did seem to be smaller than I'm used to, but there is a big arcade inside. There are the usual food offerings, including frozen yogurt. Theatre was clean.

Maeda

Others are more better with heated seats and recliner

Spencer Stewart

Great movie theater really convenient for anybody on the lower Eastside of Burlington or lower west side of Oakville. It has a nice sized arcade center and a large amount of movie theaters so you get the majority of the movies on the big screen. I will admit though if you're looking for a limited release movie this movie theater is a hit or a miss sometimes they'll have the movie but I would say majority of the time they don't carry the limited release movies. But they do have the V.I.P. section so if you're willing to spend some extra cash for a lazy boy seat and get expensive alcoholic beverages brought to you for a pretty penny it's well worth it.

Anuj

Good movie going experience, typically of Cineplex. Nice to see they have a VIP lounge for adults but 1 complaint is that the Coke options are limited compared to those cinemas with the new dispensers.

Rob Carry

Last evening while watching the new Bond movie, we almost froze!! It was just as cold inside as it was outside!! That is unacceptable.

Greg Laver

The vip seats are horrid. The springs need to be loosened so that you can actually lean back in the lower rows. Everything else about this place is great but if the seat is uncomfortable how can you possibly enjoy a movie.

wendi ful

Went to a Sat evening VIP show. I think this is one of the older VIP theatres so it's much smaller than the new one in Markham. The lounge was small, leg room limited, and inadequately staffed. Took a long time to get greeted at the entrance of the VIP theatre and no one came to take our order in the theatre, despite arriving 30 mins before the movie. Overall, would definitely NOT pay a premium to see movies in this VIP theatre again. I've had a much better experience in the Markham Cineplex.

My daughter likes the made on the spot pizza and poutine, and I have had the wraps which are pretty good, if you want something different from popcorn. Overall a great family or date night location!

Marijke Coffa

Great to get out to the movies again! Staff were so friendly and happy to take our VIP snack and beverage orders at our seats.

S Corben

Review of VIP: Amazing experience. Would recommend if you're curious about the VIP experience. Was amazed at the layout, options for food and drink, and the service. Theatre was great also - seats were really comfortable. What a great way to watch a movie.

Mike Russill

Went to the VIP. Insane they don't have lounge style chairs which tilt back...great service by the staff

Carolyn Rideout

I like this theater as it has the VIP. Also had a chance to go to the restaurant inside and the food was quite yummy. The shrimp tacos were delicious. Will definitely be going back.

David Clarke

Enjoyable, overall. Very clean, with comfortable seating, and a well laid out venue. Also enjoyed the movie. My one major beef is the snack prices. More than $5.00 for a medium soft drink - seriously!?!?

Justyna B

The best cineplex around. My kids enjoy this location over the Winston Churchill and 403 location. The oakville location is smaller then 403 but it’s easier with kids. They have the best employees at this location. Everything is clean including the washrooms.

Matt Mackinnon

They sell seating that ulis so close to the screen as to induce vomiting vertigo and general sickness. What makes matters worse is that you can go down to the managers pnly to be told a.blatant lie about a different seat availible to find out is isnt. Oh well a night well waisted

Michael Gutowski

The seats in cinema 1 look as if they have never been steam cleaned. It's quite revolting. Go ahead and turn on your phones flashlight and take a look at the food and liquid stains you get to sit in for the next 100 minutes. Gross theatres like this are a strong reason I wait until a movie comes out on Netflix rather than sitting in filth.

Adam Panchyshyn

No way to call and speak to a real person. Yikes.

Tom Keith

Nice, clean place with friendly staff. Highly recommend going on a Tuesday for the discounted ticket prices. I haven't been to the VIP myself, but have heard it is good if you have the money to spend as it’s quite a bit more than regular price admission. They also have a bar and arcade if you’re into that.

Reily Wedge

Fantastic! VIP is totally worth the money! The 3D experience is awesome! It's like your right in the movie and the big comfy seats make you feel right at home. Love it!

Ashley G

Clean and good service at the VIP theatre. We went early to visit the arcade, at least 3 of the games were broken and we had to go find a staff member to purchase the points. Very, disappointed.

Heather Robertson

Sitting in the VIP section at the Oakville location is always a great time. I purchase my tickets on line ahead of time so I'm not rushing to find seats, sitting in the VIP section let's you pic your seats, so you know exactly where your sitting and can show up just in time for the movie to start. You also get the luxury of having your consession brought to you with seat service if you arrive earlier.

Diana C

Nice and quiet location. Smaller Cineplex location. VIP located on second floor is cozy, very small bathrooms due to confined space. Good food and drinks service, however seats not ergonomically designed, very little space to stretch our legs and we are not tall people.
