As you know, we don't usually stop to write tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater is classified in the category of Drive-in movie theater.
I don't understand for the price to pay for 6 people. 4 kids. 2 parents. $75 is a lot to pay just to watch 2 movies, and we CANNOT BRING in our drinks and snacks. Forcing us to pay more for "concession" ??!! This Drive In, just had a movie or TV show filmed here as why it was closed. How can the working poor "AFFORD" to bring their families here with admission prices as high as they are now is unreal! Paying rent of has gone up for us and the property taxes being raised. I really hope Twilight looks at the people side especially during this pandemic.
Awesome experience. Perfect family outing. Saw the double feature: Shaing Chi / Jungle Cruise.
My favourite summer activity! Nostalgic and so much fun for a very reasonable price.
Amazing! Absolutely love coming here, especially now with more movies being released I can't wait. I advise you do come early to get that perfect spot, as the gates open 90 minutes early, you should be fine coming 60 before. Their concession prices are super reasonable too!
Went in there for the 1st time and loved the whole experience. We watched Tom and Jerry and it was great. The clarity of the screen was good. Washrooms were well maintained and neat. It was a wonderful experience especially during COVID times when we need to maintain social distancing. Something that you can do with your family and friends.
Had a nice date night here. There's no refunds on any purchases... Even if there was a mistake. But overall really nice experience.
its always nice to visist this place on the summer and a great movie in an open area.. great experience.????????
Awesome outdoor movie experience, specifically for little kids and grownups too.
A throw back to simpler times when hitting the drive through was a regular family outing. Locally owned and operated. Sound and picture were great. Kids had a great time. And you get to see two movies.
Very fun experience to watch a movie. Especially if you have a truck you can lay down in the back and enjoy the show. Only issue is the radio channel used has a lot of static and audio is difficult to hear sometimes.
Such a chill place, been coming for years and it's always a good time. Good theater snacks, and good movies. Glad to see the pandemic didn't take this place with it!
A rare BC experience that has you wanting to bundle up with a blanket and some snacks. A unique and retro way to spend an evening and enjoy a film.
Great awesome friendly service. Property well maintained with great social distance practices. Had a great time brought back wonderful childhood memories ❤
Love the drive in!!! Such a cool experience❤️ whether it’s a new film or an old one it’s always a good time????
Really fun! but they should add venom 2 when it comes out because the first one was really good and people are excited for it. also they should play kids movies a lil bit more. Thats all everything else is pretty good!!
Experience was way better than I originally anticipated. Definitely bring a FM radio receiver and a pair of headphone
Great place to come with friends or family!!! Concession has all sorts of food and drinks and washrooms. Sit in the comfort of your own car or bring lawn chairs and blankets and site beside/in front of your car. Only 50% capacity so great for social distancing!! Reserve your tickets on line and show up an hour before show time if you want to get a good spot.
Love that they're bringing brand new movies as well as some old hits! Watched A Quiet Place here. Great experience!
A blast from the past. Glad this is around especially during covid. Watched the classic Lost Boys. Easy to find. Bought tickets online, easy check in, and drive through. Washrooms on site, concession closed so bring your own snacks. Excited to do this again, especially in the summer.
Went last week when Austin Powers were showing and I have to say it was an awesome experience! The audio was really good and I’m really happy and thankful this is still a thing we have, due to Covid and I’m looking forward to see a new movie “finally” on the big screen! Please bring your own snacks since the concessions are closed. The online ticket ordering was super easy as well!
I went to see Godzilla vs Kong, and it was such a great experience! The picture was clear, audio was excellent and I got to try something I've never done before. The concession is temporarily closed so make sure to bring your snacks with you, and I would recommend bringing a warm blanket as it gets a bit chilly. Can't wait to go back!!
My family has been coming here for over 20 years. My parents first started going when they were just dating and it turned into a lifetime place of entertainment for our family. The owners are lovely people. If your battery dies during the night, make sure to go in and ask for help; they have a portable battery for accidents. The food is fairly decent considering it is theater food. I think the biggest seller has always been the unique nostalgia to the place. I hope to keep coming here for years and years to come!
The long drive out into deep Langley makes the experience more magical, I love night driving and its about 35mins away along the highway. It builds the excitement of the entire experience for me personally. It is definitely more expensive than a normal theater but you're paying for the experience. The food is really good, and you need to really get a good angle/placement of your vehicle to truly enjoy the film. I'll finish with this, if you're looking for the overall experience.. This wins hands down against theaters. But if you're just trying to watch the movie and that's all you care about then the theaters win. I know the owner of this business as well, love him. Hes an amazing person and the family is amazing as well. This is a great place to support local business and a great family who employs many people and treats them extremely well.
Such a cool place to visit. Love coming here. Always a good time. Go and support the concession inside, the portions of popcorn and pop are great for the price! The movies they show are recent and great. I love this place. I recommend it to everyone. Make sure to book and buy tickets a head of time. Ticket prices are very affordable aswell
Used to go here all the time as a child , definitely coming back soon ????
We feel so privileged to have this drive-in so close to us. We definitely spend a lot of time here in the summer. Don’t forget your bug spray, because the mosquitoes might be out. I always make a nest in the trunk so they can’t get me!! Enjoy the show!!
Loved the experience. Ample space to park your vehicle and the view from everywhere is good. Movie starts on time and the location is also quite reachable from anywhere in metro Vancouver. I am a frequent audience here.
Great little family night or date night. The cars are spaced out so that everyone gets a clear view of the screen. They sell Bluetooth radios if your car can't play the film from the radio. Only down side is that if you have a newer push start car, you will find yourself constantly turning on your car during the duration of the film.
Worth checking out for sure.
I had an awesome time watching the movies, staff is very friendly. I do suggest to those who havent been to twilight before... bring off or something that deters bugs, brings blanket or long sleeved shirt and pants if going at night on cooler nights. Also make sure you have cash or debit for the concession as credit cards are not able to he used unless you take the money out by the atm machine which costs you. Otherwise the experience is amazing and well worth it especially if you go in groups.
We discovered this during the age of social distancing. Even if there wasn’t a pandemic happening it’s still good family outing. The employees were friendly, and seemed like a good family kind of atmosphere. You can’t buy tickets ahead of time and it’s first come first serve. There is usually double features so better come to the first show or queue up and not get in. You can listen over car sound system or they have loud speakers which not Dolby surround is adequate . Remember car battery with radio on can last only about 2 hrs so don’t get stuck after the show .
This experience is so fun!! I took my family for the late show of Back To The Future 3. What a blast...I can't believe I have never seen it. Open at 50% capacity due to Covid 19 times. Lots of room around you. Bathrooms are clean and only allow 8 at a time. Concession is open. Popcorn is delicious!! And if your battery dies because you are running your radio to have the movie volume...no problem...they have booster packs. We were not the only ones. A double feature costs the same as just seeing one so stay for the evening!! So so much fun. My girls 9 & 10 LOVED IT!!
Love the experience. You've got 2 movies to watch for the price of one. You have to tune in to a station for the audio. They have food store inside from pop corn to nachos to burgers and price is less compared to that of movie houses.
One of the best experiences I have done in Vancouver, this drive in movie theatre is awesome!! Totally ticked a check off my bucket list and relived one of my favorite childhood movies at a great price and venue. For $30 bucks for a two person car, this is an absolute must whether for a date Night or chilling with friends. The venue also has great facilities which have excellent upkeep. Unfortunately due to COVID the concession stand is closed at present, so make sure to bring your popcorn m&m's and some candy with you! Although there's loads of local choices around the area also. The vibe and atmosphere is great, caters for any family members or friends of all ages and so cool we saw people in a truck even bring their own couch in the trailer! If its your first time like me, make sure to grab a snuggling blanket or jacket as it can get quite chilly after sundown. Support your local movie theatres!!
So much fun. The video quality is excellent even with older movies. Concessions are good and mostly reasonably priced. Great way to spend a night out!
Fantastic service. We came to see a double feature, and near the end of the first film our car battery died. We were worried that we'd have to leave early, but the staff assured us they'd be able to help Jumpstart the car at the end of the night. Sure enough, they got our car running in no time at all. Goes to shoe great foresight and dedication to ensuring a quality customer experience. This was our third or fourth visit and it won't be the last. You folks rock!!
So much fun! Loved the experience! It’s such a summer thing to do!
Had the best experience of my first drive in movies - 100% worth the money! We saw the 7:30pm Space Jam viewing and it was a great experience. It was a booked out showing but it wasn't completely full so plenty of room for everyone. Would highly recommend as a covid friendly activity to do!
We had a great time at the theatre. We saw Peter Rabbit ???? 2 and F9. There is a concession stand with washroom facilities. The washroom facilities are clean. It’s been since I was a child the last time I was at a drive-in theatre, so there is a lot of nostalgia coming to the movie ????. I recommend coming to a drive-in for the experience.
Great place to get out of the house with social distancing. Bring some popcorn and some dinner. They also have great popcorn when the concession is open. The staff are always very friendly and on top of their game. Arrive early to get a good spot. Invite other friends in their own cars. If you arrive early, park your car, and walk to fast food places near by, or the grocery store. Figure out how to make sure your lights are out when your radio is on, or bring ways to cover your lights so others get the beat experiance. We use masking tape to tape garbage bags over our lights, don’t forget licence lights.
I love going to the drive in, and I love going with my family. And my family loves going to and they can run and play free while watching the movies. Great family activity!
The Twilight drive in is one of our family favorite things to do. Pack your blankets and pillows, they have a tasty snack bar and enjoy a movie in the comfort of your car.
Great experience at this old school drive in. You buy the tickets online and they scan the barcode at the entrance. We went 20 minutes early and had just enough time to hit the concession and bathroom before the previews (masks mandatory for both). Highly recommended
I think this is the last of its kind remaining in Vancouver, really cool idea you pull up turn on your radio and watch the movie
Let’s start by saying I never been to the twilight drive in (mind you I moved to BC back in 2000). In fact, now I think of it, the last time I been to a drive in movie theatre was when Footloose came out (1984) and I was in high school back in southwestern Ontario. But here’s what I say, my 12 yrs old boy will remember his first drive In movie experience now. We went Friday night to the new showing of the Sponger Bob movie. Even dusted off an old ghetto blaster from the 80’s to listen to the movie as we sat outside in lawn chairs. As a parent, especially during these trying times of Covid19 - hands down the Twilight staff was amazing. From parking the cars 20’ apart To want to use the rest rooms (and these were huge spaces and very clean - max 8 people at a time). You wanted to buy stuff at the concession stand, 15 bodies at a time were allowed in But the wait time wasn’t long at all - the food, the service was great Let’s talk about the concession stand - lots of awesome drive in movie theater food choices (from ice cream bars, to hot dogs, hamburgers/ chicken nuggets to corn dogs, to fries, onion rings and tons of candy) and yes delicious popcorn Perfect snack offerings for little kids or “big daddy like kids” ???? Great job all .. we will definitely be back ????????
Good vibes, come early to get a good spot! Dark night to see the stars as well.
Great family or couple entertainment. We'll organized regarding parking Anywhere you can view the movie. Few small things to improve. Didn't receive the ticket, so they can scan you in at the gate Movie had alot of dark scenes where it was hard to distinguish what was going on. Not to mention of what station to tune into. Had to ask a neighbour. Don't bring any outside food or drink else be asked to leave. Thought was a bit harsh considering people may want to bring items not on the menu for health reasons or they just don't want junk food. Don't order nachos. As you only get a really small bag of chips and a small cup of cheese. Staff were very friendly though and helpful.
A unique movie viewing experience! A little overpriced but it’s a cute date idea. Make sure you come at least 45 min before the movie start to get a good spot.
Dwane The Rock Johnson, I watched fast and furious 9 there great:P
Was a great time. Get there early to get good spot. I did find it a bit annoying as some people don't know how to turn there running lights off. But was alot of fun and would do it again.
Absolutely loved the experience! Make sure you go early and grab a good spot ;) Love the diversity in movies, the odd time that all stars allign you can get a kid/family friendly, blockbuster and horror all in one go. The line ups at the concession and washrooms are normally long, so be patient! That being said, a must go, so... enjoy the show!
Have to arrive early for the good spots but the experience is 100 percent worth it!
Going to the drive-in is an annual family tradition. Weekends always have a double or triple bill. The kids love getting to see more than 1 movie & stay up late. Be sure to bring a couple lawn chairs & blankets so you can get cozy under the stars. Best of all, the admission & concession prices are very fair. We love this place!
Had such a wonderful experience here! The staff are super nice - right when you drive in, scan your ticket to the concession stand. Buy your tickets online, park your car, turn on the radio and you’re good to watch the movie. The concession stand is open again and pricing is super reasonable.
Great place for the adults or the whole family. Large area out tucked away from city lights make for a an excellent viewing experience. Friendly staff, fair prices and a great selection of films. Highly recommend a visit, you won't want to go back to a traditional theatre after
Bought tickets online and it was a smooth process getting into the lot. We arrived only 15min before the movie started and 85% of the spots were already filled, so I'd recommend coming earlier or else you'll have to park in the back row. It's required for taller vehicles (5'+) to park in the back half of the lot. They have designated lot spaces so that the cars are staggered and everyone can have a decently clear view of the screen. Radio is required because you'll need to tune into their FM channel. You can use your car radio or bring your own stereo. You can't use a phone app, and you can't rely on hoping to hear your neighbour's radio. Concession is open and busy as no outdoor food is allowed in. Bathrooms are available, and its large so we didn't experience any bathroom waits. Movie can be a bit hard to see when it's not completely dark out, but that's just the nature of things. This was my first, and definitely not last, drive-in experience.
Very friendly down to earth staff. Clean washrooms. I was worried my kids from this technology age wouldn't like it. They said it's better than the big theatres!
A cool experience! Would definitely recommend and I am 100% going again
Saw the movie It, it was great and being out side was fun, reminded me of when I was really young. Bless
Lots of spots, better concession prices than the regular theaters and lots of space to play before the show.
My first time going. Great place!
What can I say. There's no competition and no comparison. This place is epic... a definite must if you have never been... it sells itself... get in early!
I love this drive-in movie theatre (and the fact that it even exists). What a unique and old school experience it is to go to a drive-in movie! And it’s a great deal from an economic standpoint. We have a great time whether it’s just the two of us or a couple carloads of friends. You’ll love the vintage animations they show between movies- dancing hot dogs lol Can’t recommend this place enough. Oh and definitely support them further by buying some food from concessions.
We have been going here for years since it opened in 2004 or 2005. Such a great nostalgic way to see a film with the whole family. We have seen new releases and this past weekend a retro double feature of E.T. and Back to the Future. There were even 3 Delaorians that showed up. What a great place. Concessions are great and fairly priced. Family and pet friendly. Wheelchair accessible. We love it and will definitely go again soon. A must do for anyone who enjoys the classic drive-in experience with some modern touches.
Provides a nostalgia feeling of watching movies from the car. The screen was very clear and easy to hear (if u ve good speakers). However, only reason I gave this 3 Stars is there were way too many MOSQUITOES. I was covered with bites and huge swelling on my ankles, shoulder, back and thighs. If you go here make sure to pack Mosquito Repellent, thank me later.
First time there. Rainy night, muddy grounds but overall fun place. Bring battery FM radio or jumper cables.
I saw venom 2 here in October and the audio quality was amazing, but the screen was so dark you could barely make out anything on the screen. I'll return here if the screen gets brighter
We always have a fantastic time at the drive in!
Wonderful experience. Been years since I was at the drive in. Recommend it for a family night out and they allow pets
Accidentally bought a ticket for the night previous, and was turned around at the gate despite low attendance that night. Overall, very poor customer service, and not an ounce of effort on their end to make an unfortunate situation right.
Not many of these places left...great evening fun for the whole family....food is awesome ...
If I could I would give zero stars! Movie should started at 9:30 and we arrived already at 8:15 and saved ourselves a great place to see everything. Then people with a SUV parked infront of us even though they are not allowed, since it's said that only ONE car can park between the two cone's. Asked the people friendly if they could move since we were first there and we couldn't see anything. They refused without any logical explanation. After that we asked the staff for help, he just said he can't do anything, he agreed with us that they can't park there, but he will not move them to another place. Then told us to move to the last lane, what we declined, since we were the first there and the other people should have been the ones to move! Worst experience EVER!!
Screen often difficult to see during darker scenes. Great corn dogs and clean washrooms! Just to clarify, the washroom was not needed after the corn dog…they are just two separate things we liked.
The best alternative to the ridiculous vaccine passport hysteria holding us hostage. Just wish you guys kept ghost busters another week due to the flooding.
Always a fun time! Love that you can bring your dog.
If you're going to take your almost 5yo son to see his favorite movie, might as well do it with some style.... and the rain held off. Movie played flawlessly and we got front row seats.
Popcorn ???? great as always with reasonable prices. But people really need to learn drive in etiquette. Turn off your lights. They didn't enforce the number of people in the restrooms. The women's had like 20 people in it and some weren't wearing masks.
Fun times .. very covid safe
It is close to my house and a nice environment here. Having a huge space for your enjoy.
Great venue, all parking spot have a clear view of the screen.
Wonderful time. Clear audio, would have like to get a closer spot but that is my own fault! Nice to go out to see a movie. Will be returning even when movie theatres reopen.
Always a good time, friendly staff (thanks Chris for jumping our car when our battery died!), clean facilities and great popcorn! Love when they play the oldies! Thanks Twilight!
A great way to get out & still be socially distance. There is plenty of space between cars. Once dark enough, the screen image was clear & sound wasn't an issue on the radio. Unfortunately the concession stand was closed due to covid restrictions but I can say the toilets were clean. Would be a fun thing to do in summer or winter!
It's honestly a lot of fun and it's a cute date idea. Listen through your radio so sound is good !
Was very excited to go to our first drive in experience until we met the worst parking attendant ever. He Wasn’t directing traffic out front where there are NO SIGNS telling where to or where not too pull up, then when the guy who was supposed to be out front finally arrived out front he was the rudest S.O.B you could imagine. Never wanted to punch someone in the face just for speaking before, but this guy…… Up yours Lloyd.
It’s fun, we like it.
Easy to book online and get into the drive in. I thought the picture was great especially when it got dark. The concession is cute and with great service.
We love going there and appreciate the owners keeping this experience alive, please support this local business! The restrooms are always clean and staff are friendly great way to spend an evening with the family
Really cool theatre. Been here twice so far and it’s been a great experience. Good concessions, fair pricing, and good quality radio broadcast audio.
Feels like such a blast from the past and really makes an event of going to the movies! Clean facilities, concession stand with traditional movie treats, dog friendly. Parking spots get taken up quickly so ensure you arrive early. Would recommend lawn chairs, blankets and a cordless radio should you want to sit outside your car for the full experience!
