Here you will be able to see all the reviews of real people who purchased the services and products of SilverCity Riverport Cinemas (Movie Theater) in the area close to British Columbia (Canada).
Nowadays the firm has a score of 4.2 stars out of 5 and the score is based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is quite high, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they are pleased, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater is classified in the category of Movie theater.
They need to improve covid policy, mm we’d more sanitizer station’s specially where you purchase your food. The whole carpet haven been washed since Covid , looks dirty .
Seats are not comfortable. If you want to avoid rush, this is the place for you
Cinema served its purpose. Watched shang chi with family. Seats were clean.
Staff is cool. Theaters are clean. Ample parking space.
Huge screens! We really enjoyed the experience.
The location of this theatre has its own pros and cons: the area includes fun stuff to do before/after your flick, but at the same time you need to be willing to travel all the way there. Other than that, the bathrooms and theatres are neutrally cleaned, so it's not that clean nor that dirty. All the newest flicks. Great drinks machine!
Had a great time here. The theatre was very clean as well, although the only thing I could say was it was annoying how they had the front doors locked and I had to walk 15 mins to the other side :( and missed some of my show. Other than that it was awesome
The movies are great at this location but the movie stopped once when watching a movie called Midway. They gave me a voucher for two free deluxe movies with a bigger screen and better options for food and alcoholic drinks. Thumbs up!
Cool place to watch movie because right across the street it is lucky 9 lanes to play bowling which is kinda cool if you plan a night. Must plan ????????
One is the larger theaters with ample parking and many showings. I like going for early shows when it's quiet
I watched a movie at theatre #19 (IMAX). Like someone else said, you can see people's heads along the bottom of the screen. It got pretty annoying as I was in the first row from the balcony section. There were no social distancing between the seats like other Cineplex theatres I've been to. Also no trash cans by the theatre entrances. The nearest trash cans were at the threshold into the hall with the other theatres weirdly (I guess that was why there was a lot of trash left once the movie was done). Otherwise, viewings at this theatre was immersive although I'd recommend getting seats a few rows above the first row of the balcony. There are some marks on the screen itself which became more noticable as I was watching the movie.
Pretty comfortable, with varying competency of staff. We've had the sound not work twice, but the first time we were allowed to go to a showing in a different theatre and given a free ticket, and the second time they got it fixed just before the main event. There's an Old Spaghetti Factory across the road in back, and a few other places that I haven't been to, like I think some kind of water park or skating arena. The seats lean back and are a decent size. There's an arcade near the doors and a pricey hot-dog place behind the main concession that sells things like pulled-pork sandwiches. On the other hand, when my husband dropped his passport in the theatre, staff did nothing at all to help him find it, even though he knew exactly where he'd left it, and he had to get a new one, to the tune of $200+. And there is NO WAY to get in touch with theatre personnel by phone.
They have good imax theatres however, none of them have recliner seats. Drink machines are mostly empty and it can get really crowded sometimes.
Huge cinema complex with all new films in multiple formats like 3D Ave IMAX. The chairs are comfortable! Food and brewery options nextdoor.
First time imax not a good impression Everywhere was dirty not just popcorn but dirt like hasn't been vacuumed and cleaned in quite awhile filthy washrooms were smelly urine splashed everywhere and disgusting walls had some film on them was the worst I've ever seen I would be embarrassed if I owned a place that was this filthy
Positive experience at this Cineplex Movie Theatre. The staff members at the front immediately check for my COVID-19 Vaccination QR Code. They were aware that people under 18 didn't require any Photo Identification and immediately let us in without any issues. It was a good experience and would recommend my friends and family to come here.
this location needs a makeover !!!! uncomfortable seats sticky and cracked and squeaky. Washrooms needs major renovations and upgrade it stinks in there.
18 theaters , huge structure. Lots of Asian movies. Out of the way, must drive.
It's a nice building, but the staff and policies in the building leave much to be desired. Staff are often disinterested or rude. This isn't really their fault, as working minimum wage with the public sucks in general, however even a smirk would be appreciated. Also, large popcorn and a drink no longer come with a free refill which is a serious hindrance.
Finally so happy for movies theater to open. Enjoyed watching ShengShi in a clean with social distancing seating options.
First movie after almost two years. Totally enjoyed No Time To Die in IMax. The best Bond movie ever. Will miss Daniel Craig as 007.
Large cinema, great food choices, friendly staff. One draw back was the uncomfy seats. Upholstery was hard and cracked and uncomfortable on my seat and I had to move to one that was redone. Seats kind of jiggle but don't really recline. With some renovations could be 5/5.
Great movie theater, popcorn was great too! Is a little crowded though but I watched Spiderman now way home so I'm not surprised.
Solid theatre with decent customer service. Fast to get concession items. Huge number of screens and ample parking.
I really like going to the movies and this cinema complex is very enjoyable..My next suggestion for them is to transform into a VIP format, so people can eat better there!
It was so good to be back at a cinema post lockdown. Same great service, clean facility!
I found it very odd that when asked to provide identification to accompany my vaccine passport I wasn't asked to show the face that accompanies my identification. Quite redundant. Other than that the popcorn was tasty and James Bond saved the day once again. (He may or may not die at the end)
The IMAX experience is really stunning. Lots of parking is also a big plus.
Glad movie theatre at this location reopened. Food vendours and arcade also reopened inside movie facility. Plenty of open space free parking (wheelchair parking spaces close to building entrance), also accessible by transit buses. Expected seating space restrictions from last year but did not see that on seat choice display map via touch screen ticket machine for opening weekend show (general screening, not Imax/3D). Hope to catch more movie flicks soon!
Theaters are always clean and well maintained. Arcade is typically always full functioning. Service is fast regardless of lines. Atmosphere is great for all ages
Pretty decent imax experience. Enjoyed it
I don't usually go on Tuesdays since it's half off and there are way too many people. Instead I go on any other day or in the afternoon to get away from the crowd. Snacks and drinks are over priced but seating is comfortable. i also like that they play many movies from around the globe, showcasing multi culturalism which is what makes up the lower mainland.
Live the IMAX Theatre Good size screen Audio quality is good
Going to the movies is so exciting as it is a big treat to go to a very nice, clean, and friendly place. I love the big space of parking, food, and treats are all there for all ages. I was never disturbed while watching a movie. Mary
We have been to this theatre many times over the past few years, but this is the first time since re-opening. Although the staff were great and the lobby areas were well managed, it was a free-for-all in the theatre! We chose seats at the back and there were people sitting there when we arrived. They offered to move, but they were sprawled all over the seats, with drinks and snacks. We sat a few rows lower than we had wanted and then had a person come sit right in front of us - no distancing at all! Overall, unimpressed with how things were managed in the theatre - there was no control of any type. We will probably go to another movie sometime (we used to go all the time!), but did not enjoy the stress of this experience.
Uncomfortable seats... Ughh not gonna visit again..
It was an awesome experience overall. Surrounding is well maintained, well cleaned. Proper sanitized and social distancing is maintained in seating. They provide free mask on the entrance. Overall the experience was awesome.
Lots of parking available,!Great theatre experience!!!!
great location and friendly staff! went in at 12PM to see train to busan: peninsula expecting to be lots of people on Tuesday specifically but the theater was super empty due to COVID restrictions. not too many people inside the auditorium and everyone was well spaced out. online ticketing was very simple and fast. overall, an amazing experience since it was our first time seeing a movie in cineplex after some restrictions have been lifted. would love to go back again!
Saw Bond on the IMAX. All IMAXs are pretty great. No complaints about anything at the cinema. Don't forget your proof of Covid vaccination and ID if you haven't been to a movie in awhile.
I've been going here for what feels like forever! Clean theatres, enough ticket counters and machines. Sometimes the floor plan changes, and there are two entrances, so you can get s little turned around if you're new. Don't get discouraged! I also love IMAX and will continue to see movies here. The only thing that could improve it would be a VIP theatre and lounge!
Was a good experience. Short lineup to walk up to. Short lineup for popcorn and a drink. Didn't order anything else. Movie was good. washrooms were clean. Went to an earlier movie around 4pm so there were lots of seats to choose from. Will go back.
Always excellent service and movie going experience. Bit of a drive from my own home but worth the visit once in awhile.
Great place to watch movies in Richmond. Remember to bring your COVID-19 Vaccine Card and photo ID with you now.
Enjoyed the trip to see Marvel's Black Widow. Just wish the concession stand people would have had a smile or been more cheerful when taking our order. Almost looked like they had to be dragged in to work. (Why so sad?) But what the heck, no one celebrates the easing of restrictions the same way. ????
Fun cinema, great seats. Well priced tickets, clean bathrooms... What more do you need? Although I have to tell you that the games ate our tokens, perhaps we chose the only games that had issues.... But the box office did replace the tokens, twice.
This is a terrible location and to be avoided at all costs! It’s dirty but mostly poorly managed. I had one of the worst theatre experiences I have ever had last night. The projectionist had the wrong film in the projector and we were shown a 3 minute trailer of the movie we had come to watch right before seeing our film. After 20 min of trailers and commercials, a “put on your 3D glasses” warning comes on. We were in a non-3D film. Then we were forced to watch 5 minutes of a different movie before the projectionist finally changed it. They placed the right film in this time, however, we were forced to watch another 10 minutes of commercials prior to our film being shown. This whole thing took the entire audience out of the experience and they were talking loudly and constantly on their phones. After the movie, I went to talk to management and he acted like there was nothing wrong. He said he won’t be giving us a voucher for next time because we watched the film in its entirety. His name is Chris B and has zero idea what customer service is and should not be managing anything let alone a theatre. Right off the bat he was rude, combative, and apathetic to our experience. He said maybe he’ll give us a small popcorn voucher for next time as if his attitude and approach to the situation wasn’t a slap in the face enough. I will never come back to this theatre. This is how you lose life long customers and your business suffers.
Great theatre experience, but staff unhelpful and food insanely priced.
no distance between people when watching movie, horrible idea during covid.
Chairs are uncomfortable. Coke freestyle machines were all broken except for 2 and half the flavors were empty. The concession was a ghost town, all you could get was Luke warm popcorn with butter just on the top layer. Every combo has some bs online rental that nobody wants. Bathrooms are gross. This place needs a massive shake down. Not going back.
Good theatre with helpful staff. Been coming here since 2008.
Amazing Cinemas. The biggest I've been to in BC thus far!
Movie going is definitely an event with the price of tickets and concessions these days, but SilverCity is stepping up to make it feel grand. It's a relief to be able to reserve seats when you purchase tickets online, and not have to print paper tickets--that really saves time and stress of getting there early and sitting around. Many many loud commercials before the movie started though
Worst seats I have seen in Vancouver area. Seats were too compact and old style. At the same price we can get recliner in other theatres like one in New Westminster or Surrey.
Huge screen best dbox experience huge place.
This place doesn't have many seats to sit outside in the breakout. Theater screens and sound systems are good.
Good location, plenty of auditoriums, so there's always a good selection of movies and time slots. Access by car and bus is easy and there is enough parking around the building. There are also a few good restaurants around if you plan to have a real meal before or after the movie. I don't like that the food court is before the ticket check, so you can't grab seats first and refreshments after.
Watched ENDGAME second time on the IMAX screen, for Tony and Natalie. the only disappoint aspect about the experience is that the IMAX glasses were dirty as hell, seems they only clean them once a week or something.
I don't know if it's just me, but the imax screen here is extremely dirty and covered in a whole lot of dust and gunk. I went to see Dune travelling almost an hour and a half to get here and my seat was closer to the screen and I feel like the marks and scratches and dust on the screen really hindered my vieweing experience. Other than that the place is great and the staff are all very welcoming.
Excellent movie theatre! This is the best place to go watch big new movie releases. It's just an exciting place to be, with fun arcade games, a concession with popcorn, snacks, and pop, and lots of theatres! I love the TimePlay game that happens before movies, its a really fun, interactive, and enjoyable addition to the movie experience. In addition, the theatre is kept very clean and tidy all the time! Great job to the staff! Highly recommend!
Only theatre in Vancouver with IMAX to my knowledge. Giant parking lot but no covered parking. Has no VIP yet. Plays Chinese and other non English films as well which is a bonus. Nothing really bad to say about this place other than it's a little too far away. Has many screens so will definitely have the film you're looking for!
It's a great theatre, one of the big ones, always easy to find a show not too packed. The cleanliness could use work and the staff does seem disinterested as someone mentioned. The food options are what you'd expect from a theatre perhaps one day we can hope for at least one healthy option
Just saw Black Widow this afternoon and the promise to social distance with the seating is NON-EXISTENT. The guy in front of me, yes PRACTICALLY TOUCHING MY KNEES!! with his head because he was in full recline. There were others beside by only 1 seat and others directly behind me also. WTH Management, don't bother posting the pathetic speal about continuing to offer a safety protocol for everyone's wellbeing and NOT FOLLOW IT AT ALL!! I won't go back, it's not worth the risk, you also had no-one monitoring seating arrangements which would have been somewhat of a solution.
This review is for the Met Opera Series. I go to movies all the time and don't usually have any problem finding my movie and buying tickets. I would give 5 stars for the theatres. This time, though I wanted to find out about the opera series. It was such a frustrating experience. I thought it would be a simple thing to go to the website with a search for "Cineplex Burnaby opera". No. It mentioned $150 Met Opera members. ????? I would look up "events", then have to choose the theatre, then the Province. Then I'd have to scroll down to find the opera performance. I was sent around in circles - it was so frustrating. Perhaps you need a genre search. I could have looked up "opera" or "action", "romance", "comedy", "drama", or any other genre, which would bring up a screen with those movies.
Nice theatre. Only beef is they won't let a party of 4 sit together, have to split them up. I don't know if this is law or a rule but it sucks.
Nice and helpful staff, refunded me the ticket amount even when I got late for a movie more than 1 hr and eventually canceled the show and got my funds back. Exceptional service
One of the only IMAX screens in the lower mainland. While their digital IMAX protection is never quite as good as a true 70mm film, it's still pretty fantastic. Main downside is just the lack of legroom in that theatre.
They did a great job under covid
Excellent theater, lots of screen options (3D, AVX etc) but no VIP. Great for kids and really grateful the have sensory-friendly screenings for very young children and people with sensory integration concerns (ex. autism). Ample parking but the layout of the parking lot near the entrance needs due care in late night-time hours (put your head in swivel mode). Good seating and they spend a lot of time keeping it clean which makes this enjoyable.
Very safe and nice to go back to watching movies at a theater
Pretty clean for a theatre. Staff seems stressed but keeping it together. Been going here for years and never had any issues others than seeing rats in the parking lots behind Bree pub and spaghetti factory.
The inside of the theatre was nice and well kept but the staff were not at all friendly with helping you find your gate. We were a little disappointed with the seats inside the theatre because most of the other theatres have reclining seats. Other than that there is a lot of parking and there are many arcade games to play. I would recommend coming here but don’t keep your expectations high.
Yuck! This place is dirty. The washrooms and the theatre itself smells and have crumbs all over the floor. Secondly, they are consistently out of stock on items such as butter or whatever that "butter-topping" stuff is; this is not a problem, but when I want popcorn, there's an expectation of getting what I want. Employees are rude and seem jaded working there. I can see why it is not the best place to work. I would much rather go elsewhere. However, the location is excellent, so I will give them a star.
Not gonna lie: it's nice when there are nobody at the theater these days because of COVID.
Seating in regular theatres is amazing and very comfortable. Snacks are movie snacks and in my opinion taste great. Price is expensive but every theatre is and always will be going forward so... Enjoy what you have. Great place to go every few months for a relaxing evening.
Long queues at the ticket area. Washrooms aren't that clean and most of the time run out of toilet paper. Where we've sat in theatre 18, it smells like a dirty stale mop is used on the floor. The floors stank throughout the whole 2 hrs movie
Excellent place so quiet and awesome movies ya gotta go????????????????????????
Good overall theatre. Excellent parking, service, seating and of course, movie-sound-seating overall quality. I drive from Metrotown to go here for better parking, less crowded theatres and great service. Yes, I live in Metrotown and drive here! Food and drinks are always overpriced, but that's always been the case at all theatres since the beginning of time, right? Give fair pricing and I'll certainly give more 5-star reviews. Thank you for the great movies!
The theater is huge and has a great sound system. Went with my friend who lives close by and really recommends the popcorn was yummy and the theater was almost empty. I was delighted by my first movie experience since before Covid.
Overall experience was good, I would rate for cleanliness 3.5, ambience 3.5, customer service 4.5, movie seats 3.5, cinematic experience 4.5. They have less combo options for food, which they should find more, as well as seating can be improved. They should definitely seek consultation to improve seating for 3 hr movie. Lol.. There was also no gap in the seating between yours and another customer in terms of COVID. Although all gets entry with vaccination card but still point to be noted. Rest great movie hall ????
The screens, audio are good. But the seating plans and the seats are uncomfortable.
I was already feeling lazy just to think I'll have to go to Vancouver to watch a movie but for my surprise we have this place in Richmond. ???? The room was very clean and I loved to see that people are really respecting social distance. Parking lot is huge, so that was big bonus. One thing I thought it was weird was the lack of posters in front of the rooms, other than that I had a great time. ????????????
Went for shang chi. This theatre is in a hidden spot. You can get there from outside or stairs near to McDonald's
I go here because the parking is so good. What's there to say? They're big enough to have a large selection even though I only watch Blockbusters... Its close to spaghetti factory so it's great if you want to get a meal before your movie. Bowling is across the street too.
Always a good place to go see a movie. Plenty of theatres (19) with all kinds of screen and seating options. Lots of eateries nearby and no lack of parking. Whether you are taking your honey or your kids or a long lost relative Silver City Richmond is always a good bet.
Parking wasn't an issue, I'd say they need more variety in terms of food, there's only 1 or 2 simple kiosks and that's it.
First time being back in the theater and I felt surprisingly less nervous than I had expected. The theater's packed but social distancing was followed. For a movie's length of time, COVID was not on my mind and normalcy was back. I will definitely be returning to watch more movies. Oh yes, minus one star because there was a used brown napkin in my cupholder. -_-;
Enjoyed the IMAX experience. Might want to take a page from Regal Cinemas and install power seats with side tables.
Great place for a weekend! I love coming to SilverCity. Its huge, lots of screens, good food, good service.. the theatres are well kept. There are lots of other things here as well which I haven't tried yet. But I highly recommend this place for good movies and food. It's pretty convenient to reach here as it's well connected by buses.
Went to see spiderman tonight in the Imax auditorium ... absolutely no social distancing whats so ever!?!?! It was packed! I'm not sure why that is if they clearly state social distancing measures are in place???
THE SEATS ARE WAY TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. Tried to quickly get out of the theatre to go to the bathroom but it took me forever to get out of the row because the seats are so close together and I had to step on peoples feet and heads to get out. Just put enough room so someone can freaking walk without ruining the movie for everyone else
Have to buy tickets online beforehand. Place was clean, movie was great.
Location is bad cuz it's in the middle of nowhere. the food and drinks are overpriced but that is expected from cineplex. Plenty of screens and has IMAX, dbox, avx. There isn't really a place to sit around before going into the theatre
Amazing place with a giant parking lot and spacious theaters
Slightly far from Vancouver. Seating can be better. Overall experience was good.
Nice and clean great sound with imax
I've been pleasantly surprised with all the changes Cineplex has been making over the last few years with their theatres. The process for ordering and getting food/beverages and the ticket purchasing process have come a long way and are so much more efficient now. I always liked seeing that students play a large part of the employee pool and of course the theaters are clean and seating plans seem more well thought. It's still very expensive to go to see a movie even if you are a scene member and go on a Tuesday and I think more reasonable prices might bring this up to 4 stars but I understand that Cineplex ultimately wants to make money.
Watched No Time To Die in IMAX! The food is insanely priced. That kind of price gouging for popcorn should be illegal lol. Otherwise theater was clean and comfortable! Adds before the movies are way to long as well so if you have reserved seating show up 10 mintues late to avoid unbearable adds.
Always a treat to go for a movie, just wish the other guests would sit in their assigned seats.
Painfully dim "UltraAVX" 2D projection. Went to see the latest Bond film, but felt like I was wearing sunglasses the entire time. Dark scenes (much of the movie) had no visible shadow detail, only fully-lit daytime scenes were tolerable. Very distracting throughout the film. Silver screens used for 3D presentations are known to be dimmer, but this was the worst I've ever seen.
The middle aged Asian lady at the concession selling popcorn and drinks was really rude to customers. Her face always looks angry and stressed out. I think she is the team leader or something bossing people around and yelling at customers. This didn’t happen just once. I have been to this theatre multiple times and this lady gives bad attitude all the time. The management needs to give their staffs some customer service training.
Excellent Screens with amazing quality. The food is expensive but that is expected. We were able to secure seats through the pandemic and our family felt safe.
I went to see star wars and this was one of the best movie theaters I have been to. The seats are nice and they even recline. I went on a Tuesday and got my ticket, hot dog, pop and fries for about 20 bucks. The young people working there did a pretty good job too.
My girlfriend and I go here about twice a month, usually on Tuesday nights, as the price of an adult ticket is $8.50 on Tuesday. It is a huge theatre and they always have the latest movies playing. I especially like the seats as the are big and comfy and recline slightly. If you live in Richmond this is a great place to go on a date. Again, I’d suggest Tuesday nights ;).
Good cinima, decent picture and sound. In need of a little T L C, seats old and cracked, theatre a little grungy...
Comfortable seating, free parking, good audio although commercials and trailers play at ear bleeding sound levels. Washrooms clean and ample in size. Quick food if you're not especially particular. Restaurants available very close to theatres with free parking allow for real food and drink before or after a show. Very popular with locals.
Great place to watch movies. Can now reserve seats and they are reclining. Parking is ample, free and stress free. Checked for vaccination at door and everyone was wearing masks. Popcorn line up was quick and was really nice to watch movie in big screen and eat movie popcorn
I’m not aware of the changes made after Cineplex reopened from Covid lockdowns but before, we always could order Outtakes food from the main food venue where they sell popcorns and etc. I was lining up to order with my friends and even made eye contact with this female cashier as we wait for her to finish up with the customer in front of her. After she was done, she completely ignored us, lifts up her hand and greets the customer on our left who wasn’t even in line and took their order. I brushed that aside because I thought maybe they came before us BUT after she was done with that customer, she AGAIN ignored us and waves to the customer who was BEHIND US. I finally decided to just walk up and order a classic poutine and she replied me with a very unprofessional annoyed tone “that’s at OUTTAKES” as she raised her voice at me….. Way to ruin my mood before the movie :)
There are 18 screens plus an IMAX too, and the seats are pretty comfortable, so it is certainly not a bad place to watch a movie, or have a date with the family or significant other. While this location is far away from city center, parking is plentiful, and there are many other activities here too, including a bowling alley, ice rink, and even an aquatic center.
Lots of movies in this cinema and practices safe and clean against covid
Way too expensive going to the theatre these days. Paid over $20 to see a movie and had to sit through a full 10 minutes of straight commercials before the movie started. You could comfortably be late 15 minutes and still be seated before the movie even started. The price of concessions could buy you dinner.
Great for movies and Opera, Theatre…..
Staff is great...but seats in IMAX was uncomfortable and cramped.
Great high-quality cinema screens and sound (in my opinion better than Scotiabank/downtown, same as Marine drive theater). Excellent selection of movies from blockbusters to non-English/foreign films, and indies (best diversity of films out of all cinemas in Vancouver I've visited). Clean theatres. Friendly and helpful staff. Soft and clean seats. Good food although price-y and little variety in terms of meals (good variety in snacks) but this is expected with cinema food regardless of location. It is a bit tricky to get to public-transportation-wise though.
This cinema opened at 1997 and should still be one of the largest in greater Vancouver. You can enjoy IMAX and 3D here and can always grab a bite in Silver City or there are several restaurants closed by for you to choose. It is a great place to spend a lovely evening with your family and love ones. Tons of parkings available, absolutely no worries for parking. Come and enjoy a movie here, highly recommended!
This location does not answer their phone. Is there nobody in charge that can be spoken to? Is this place run by a robot?
This theatre seriously needs updating. Not only do the seats squeak loudly they are cracked so badly the sharp vinyl stabs your legs! The seats and floor are really sticky! The washrooms are also not maintained well. It smells really awful, and some of the stall doors don't lock. Very disappointed that we paid the same price for a movie in this theatre as we do for a theatre with fully reclining seats in the Okanagan. I highly doubt we will ever go to this theatre again.
Hakuna Matata, Lion King. My first movie here and we went all out. Bought Avx, D- box tickets at around $25, not cheap. Was it worth it??? Absolutely not! Never again. Its much more cosy, comfortable on a recliner seat. D-box, had to try it once, is nothing spectacular. Overall, the cinema is awesome. Games arcade, hardly any line up as there are staff working at all counters. Nice strategy to make u buy larger popcorn and drink, just an extra .50 cents on each! The drinks fountain area is a mess, but that's ppls fault. Small kids hold a huge glass full of drinks and then...whoops...a little lake is made. What are parents thinking. Btw, I have kids as well, I know what they can carry and what not! Overall great cinema and we will be back for more...
Lots of entertainment venues in one place (LaserCity, Extreme Air Park, bowling etc...) Located roughly 200 kms from Seattle, actually
No refills on fountain drinks, terrible
Cheap movies. Because of COVID-19, playing older classics (Jaws, Karate Kid, Batman, Jurassic Park and many others). Great to see them again. Has been pretty quiet each time I have gone. People scared to go I guess. Have seen 3 movies within 8 days. All different sized popcorns have costed more than each of my movies. Raised their prices at the concession stands. Just need to show more of the old horror movie classics ( The Shining, Halloween movies, Nightmare On Elm Street movies, Exorcist movies , Chucky movies, etc.) Would be cool to see some 3D movies. Would pay a couple more dollars to see those. Would love to see Titanic 3D again.
My go to movie theater for most of the movies. Even though I live right beside Marine & VIP, I prefer this one because of location. Easy to find parking, restaurants & bowling club nearby. Seats are not as good as strawberry hill but comfortable. Note to owner: Please make a designated seating area for people. There are 2 tables and 6 chairs in the corner and that's it.
Went today (Tuesday), matinee to see a new movie I had been waiting for. I was the only one in the theatre. Got there 12:15 as the movie starts at 12:30. Saw 15 minutes of trailers and then the movie was supposed to start. Lights were still up and nothing. I waited 10 minutes before going out to report it. Staff didn't seem too concerned and took their sweet time to call the projectionist. Finally got going 15 minutes later but now I had to sit through another 10 minutes of adds! This is the reason I haven't returned back here since 2010 when I came to see Wolfman. I should have waited for the movie to come out on DVD. Will not be coming back to this theatre again
Watched the new Spiderman in imax. Great experience
Wow what a Great Time watching Dune!!!!!
Watched Dune yesterday in Auditorium 19 IMaX. Heads of the people front seats are getting into the bottom of the movie. Movies have to be projected on the higher position to avoid the interference. Even, there was a group of spots on the screen on the left and upside from the center of the screen. The room for legs is quite narrow, even for my short legs. I couldn't blame the the guy behind me of kicking my chair. I even felt a bit guilty to recline my back. Some chairs are squeaky. The screen is very close from the seat. I was in the third low from the back but felt a bit close. I do not recommend Auditorium 19.
Always our go-to place for watching movies. Really accessible and good venue.
Does anybody want to pay $18 a ticket and watch 20 mins of commercial and movie trailers before they play the movie?
Great place! Love all the restaurants close by too! Lots of parking, washrooms are acceptably clean. Over priced popcorn and drinks but not more than any other movie theatres. Good, comfortable seats. Process for tickets is quick. Service is ok.
It doesn’t have a VIP seating unfortunately. But it is a great Cinema. Lots of theatre rooms and options for DBOX etc.
Not much to say here it meets all expectations, I only go to this theater, it has both Hollywood and Bollywood movies and sometimes even fights (WWE) it does however get quite full, there's tons of parking, but if ur late for the show parking will be quite a walking distance. There is also a bowling alley with pool tables, a swimming pool and a few restaurants including the old spaghetti factory in the theaters vicinity. Good times for a night out with family or friends. Take care folks and enjoy!
Slow service from ticket cashiers, only two in a huge line up. Not their fault. Management needs to put in more cashiers, especially during holiday season. Concession staff is very friendly, great service. Chairs need to be upgraded a bit, not bad. Avoid sitting in the middle, the majority of chair kickers sit there. Etiquette of not placing your feet on another's chair or kicking it doesnt seem to go far here with these theatre goers. My advise sit in the back. Too bad.
A decent theatre. Depending on which auditorium you get for you movie, seats will vary in quality. All the seats in the 2d auditoriums have cracked leather on the seat making it extremely uncomfortable to sit on especially if you wear shorts. However, most of their auditoriums are decent. The floors are notorious for being sticky from spilled pop. Washrooms are somewhat gross to use but it could be worse. The theatre has been around for a long time though so they're doing some things right.
great movie theater in the middle of nowhere. it's a pain to get to however you get a good movie experience
Very nice entertainment place. Had well organized with good parking space. Theatre quality is too good ????
Really clean and not very many people at all on a Friday evening
Nice and big theater! I always enjoy the vibe there with big Aud and screen ????????
Great movie theater with arcade games and a huge parking lot. It has only two cashiers, but there are many self-service ticket machines. The Imax theatre is a huge screen that I've enjoyed watching but no closed caption. Anyways, good service.
Great cinema, staff are always friendly and helpful! My only issue is that there are no garbage cans at the entance/exits to the building or in the parking lot. Always lots of trash on the ground as I walk my dog in this area regularly. Hence the 4 stars. PLEASE get some trash cans!
I am always happiest at this theatre even though it’s not the closest to where I live. Free parking. Often super crowded but you can find a spot. Tons of movie options and concession items. Customer service is generally good and fast although there are enough machines to purchase from. Like the games area too. Was always great when the kids were small.
