You will see the reviews of real people who used the services and products of Cineplex Odeon Victoria Cinemas (Movie Theater) near British Columbia (Canada).
At the moment this business has a rating of 4.3 stars over 5 and this rating is based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is quite positive, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the rating is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place scores when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater is classified in the category of Movie theater.
Probably one of the best movie watching experiences I've ever had. The food was great, I got the nachos and hot dog combo and while nothing to write home about not the worst I've had. Besides the amazing movie I watched, the best part were the reclining seats with the footrests!!! It almost felt like I was watching the movie in my own private home theater. Also if you haven't seen Avengers Infinity War you must this movie is a legit Superhero Epic!!!!
Great seats, nice staff
The staff were friendly and the seats were great. The screens are small, as other people have noted. I had heard the bathrooms were in the basement but didn't realize just how far it was. Maybe I didn't take the quickest route, it seems there are a couple different ways to go. Just make sure you go before the movie and sit a little closer to the front and I think things should be good. My seat was B-17 in auditorium 5, and it's worth noting that the handrail for the stairs directly in front almost block a part of the screen when leaning back (see photos). If you think that might be distracting just avoid B-17 and B-15 and I think it'll be fine. There were just under 20 minutes of ads and trailers, which I think is pushing it, but still 3 minutes less than SilverCity. Edit: added photos from seat BB-17, which I liked better due to the small screen size. Update: I forgot to get photos of aud 3 but the screen is much bigger--would definitely prefer this over #5.
Seats were super comfy, but the screen size was disappointing. This is the kind of venue that makes you happy you have a larger screen at home, and no one around you to spoil the movie!
I mean, it's a theatre. Nothing special, but better than many. It has an Imax theatre which is pretty good, but it's nothing to write home about. If you want to watch a movie, this is a good place to do it.
Aging theatre. 3D glasses were too dark and the screen too small when you are in the back row. Add to that no organic popcorn and no healthy drinks and I'd much rather watch Star Wars at home.
Seating placement is not ideal - four rows were seated directly in front of each other and people seated behind us children were running across their lane and coughing over our seats. We placed our masks on. Better seating placement is definitely needed in this environment. There is no ice cream served at this theatre, and this is our family thing - so we definitely wont be back. The movie and sound quality however, was great!
Awesome seats!
Leather recliner chairs here are really nice. Reserved seating is a plus if you buy your tickets online in advance. Of course it's Cineplex, so too HIGH prices on concession food. They don't even list individual prices for drinks, popcorn on the boards anymore, just combos averaging $20 which force you to include getting scene points, online movie rentals, etc.
Easy to get to and always great films. I catch a lot of top films here, and the occasional smaller picture.
Love this theater!so cozy ????
Love the recliners! Its just like being at home and makes watching a movie that much better
Literally the best theatre ever. The seats are so fantastic I don't even consider going anywhere else
The screens may not be as big as Silvercity but I prefer the location. It has stepped up its game with the addition of reclining seats. I do wish the bathrooms weren't in the farthest reaches of the basement though.
This is a great, small town theatre. Seats are recliners and comfy, theatres are small and employees are friendly- really like it !
It would be nice if they opened up the top concession. Also it is a pain that the bathrooms are down in the basement.
Great seats and leg room Now if Victoria streets were roomier that would be phenomenal
Comfy seats and nice staff! But the price of popcorn and other snacks is way to high.
They have reclining chairs which are good, the screen is not big enough as I expected however the excellent quality of sound can make up for that. I haven't tried their food yet. Plus, they accept SCENE points here.
I called the theatre to try and change seats and sit together with friends. I spoke to a fellow named Kyle who was super helpful and managed to get us all in a row, I highly recommend this theatre!
Very relaxing lounge chairs for while watching a movie.
Not a cheap place to watch a flick, but really comfortable lounge chairs, lije a Barco lounger. Comfy!
Comfortable reclining seats. Bathrooms are hard to find.
Theatre 5 has wonderful seating for wheelchairs. They are in a separate section slightly left of the screen. Lots of room to manuever even a power chair. Reclining seats for the companion seat and the theatre accepts Access cards (giving a free ticket to the companion). Wheelchair accessible washroom (single room) in the basement. Elevators available.
Lines move quickly, service is fast and friendly, seats are comfortable and clean.
Super comfortable seating and great place to watch a movie.
Still love going downtown to see a movie, a special experience
Great movie center right in Downtown Victoria. Gives more of the classic style as soon as you walk up to it. Always showing great new shows. Ciniplex also offers you to buy your tickets on your phone and not worry about the box office.
Great retro theatre...especially sliding back seats.
The kids loved the recliner chairs
The seats are full individual recliners and are very comfy. 4 stars because hubby was way too hot although it was perfect for me :-)
Great spacious recliner seats... Not those tiny, hard bus-class seats.
Great theater. Love the recliner seats. They've ruined me for anything less.
The reclining chairs are do awesome. Screens are small though and staff seem to be spread thin.
Still one of my favourite theatres! love the new chair set up.
So many compliments about the manager and I must agree. Took advantage of the half price on Scene points for both the movie & refreshments. The gentleman greeted us when we arrived and asked if I could transfer from my wheelchair to his very comfortable reclining lounge chairs. He said I would love them and yes I did. This is the best way to watch a movie and the staff really made you feel at home. If you haven't been to the Yates street theatre in Victoria, you really must take it in. Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy your favourite movie.
Saw Encanto and loved it. Music and the storyline epic. Seats were super comfy wish they reclined more, and had heated seats.
Saw Encanto and loved it. Music and the storyline epic. Seats were super comfy wish they reclined more, and had heated seats.
Love the seating. Our favorite theatre. We go almost weekly! Then need to come up with a frequent customer program where you get a reduced price for attending 30+ movies
The recliner chairs with lots of leg room is great. Like that you can choose your seats in advance on a screen when you purchase your tickets
This is a great theatre. I love the new, very comfortable seating. This theatre often has films you won't find at other theatres, so it's worth keeping an eye out for what's on. Prices are reasonable. I have been coming here for decades, and hope to continue for many more.
The seats are amazing!! I use to go to Silver City but I changed to this location once they got the chair upgrade. This theater is in a convenient location downtown and good customer service. The employee's are always welcoming and efficient.
I really enjoyed my stay here. I can recommend to go on Tuesdays because then it's 50% off.
I met Ned
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Loved the recliner.
My absolute favourite theatre in the area. The staff are always friendly, the theatres are fantastic, and it just has those vibes that you want when you go to a movie. Also plays a lot of movies that don't come to the bigger theatres.
Excellent theatre. Nice comfortable seats. Those there, that work there are very friendly & nice . OLD EAGLE EYES
And why shouldn’t going to the movies be like sitting in your own living-room? Am I right or what! We are serious movie goers, typically averaging once a week at any given local cimema. In the drab Victoria rainy season we’ve even been guilty of 2X that amount. We may not be Siskel and Ebert when it comes to movie taste but we surpass them 10 fold when it comes to venue and popcorn advice. Hopefully the management of the Victoria Odeon takes note…. We have been going to the Victoria Odeon since the dark ages. It wasn’t always our theatre of choice but since the smart move of adding reclining seats, it has since become our go-to spot. Silvercity is closer to us but we will drive all the way downtown and circle the block 8X for parking just to watch a show there. Apart from comfortable seating the location is always clean and inviting. Although the bathrooms are a little bit of a trek down to the depths of the dungeon, there are a large amount of stalls and really clean facilities. And hello, 6 theatres to choose from. Kudo’s on selection! We’re not going to lie—the first show we watched with the new seating had us a little wigged out. I mean, do you fall asleep or not? Bring a blanket? We have since adjusted and are loving it. The best part is that the ticket prices are still the same as everywhere else so you’re not even paying more for comfort. So congrats Victoria Odeon, that was a super smart move to save this landmark theatre from the same fate as the others around the city. We also enjoy the old school movie theatre feel that still exists. From the lit signage out front to the box office at the door, the dated carpet and the concession kiosk on the second floor, this theatre has so many reminders of times past. And with an authentic appeal given it was 70 year age! Although pretty close, there are a couple of things the Victoria Odeon could tweak in order to quickly become the city favourite for many more. Service Not saying at all that the employees aren’t nice, polite and eager to help. They are. Problem is this cinema seem perpetually understaffed and this has been a factor at times to sending us out the door. We get it, paying staff adds up, but what’s the cost of running a skeleton crew? Put a person at the outside ticket booth. That is their job to sell tickets, and the line should go quickly between that and the automatic tickets sales booths outside. DO NOT make people stand in the concession line to buy tickets. It seriously pisses us off. Consider opening the upstairs concession as well, you might actually sell more nibblys if the movie-goers upstairs had less mileage to travel; which is important mid-movie. Classes on butter layering It seems like a no-brainer but this one appears to be a problem at most theaters. It’s butter and when a customer says please layer it, the concept is that one is to apply butter mid-bag-fill. Not take pre-bagged popcorn and just dump double the amount of butter on it. Seriously, when you love movie popcorn, like we love movie popcorn, it can be a little infuriating when it’s bone-dry and sticking to our throats halfway through the bag and movie. Especially when we pay $1 extra for the good stuff! We are not the only people that hate the fact that it costs almost $50 dollars on date night just to see a movie. Remember $2.75 cheapy Tuesdays??!! Bring back the 80’s! Nonetheless, it is more palatable to pay these prices when cinemas, not only invest in the comfort of the venue for their clients, but also bring superior customer service to the table. For these reason we give the Victoria Odeon 4 stars. They’re almost there…. Invest fully in the customer experience and we’ll come back with 5 stars!
Outstanding place
Great atmosphere, great popcorn. Fantastic seating and nice staff!
This theater is quite nice. The staff is always friendly & helpful. I love the recliner seats!
Many cinemas but not large capacity. We watched Pacific Rim in 3D and it was nice movie. The seats were extra comfortable and had extra space between them.
A simple little movie theater. The seats are confortable have electronic adjustments. There is no time play at this location
New seats are much better and really gave me a new reason to go here. Prices are also really good. Between here and capital six I no longer have any use for tillicum
The up-side is the comfortable chairs. The down-side is the parking and the awkward location of the washrooms within the facility.
The new chairs and easy booking and seat selection make this one of my favorite movie theatres now.
The new recliner chairs are great!! Parking can be difficult and the small lobby gets very crowded.
I have finally been comforted in a movie setting thanks to the recent seating upgrade to this Cinema. WOW! Totally spacious and automated. Also nice to get your tickets with food items at the same time.
This theatre is great ever since they installed the new recliner seating. My only issue is that sometimes the sounds levels are not optimized, I've been to a couple movies where the treble seemed quite high. Bathrooms are always clean and staff is friendly!
It's a nice place. I really enjoyed watching 1917 there
The upgrade to the big recliners makes the experience great and less cramped, though it means that seating sells out faster.
Love the reclining chairs. Going to movies is so much more fun now.
Best deal in town. The recliners are what make it the best value. So roomy and comfy. Save money and see the 3D versions for at least $5 cheaper and get way better seats. You can reserve seats online too so there is no guessing if you will get a good seat or not.
Really great movie experience. Would recommend 10/10
As one other reviewer pointed out, the washrooms are so far away and down many stair cases. You can't help but miss part of the movie you paid for due to the distance to these bathrooms. It would be a great place to film a horror movie as I always assume I am about to get axe murdered down there as there is usually not another soul in sight. I don't even know if it's wheel chair accessible. If you really have to go, wear a diaper or take a weapon to defend yourself from the boogeyman
Convenient location that's right downtown, the seats are pretty good, the screens and sound are awesome! Food here is 50/50, I'd recommend just going and grabbing dinner before your movie, and the staff leave a lot to desire. I asked an usher a question when I went to go see a movie last night and he was incredibly rude to me, which put quite a damper on treating myself to a night out. Overall, I prefer Capitol 6, but this Cineplex location is alright. Certainly not one of the best, but not one of the worse I've been to either. Gets the job done.
Good seats. Popcorn waaay to salty. Good customer service
Love it! is just perfect. I am off on Wednesdays so I go for a movie at least twice a month. Although the popcorn is a little bit expensive (like everywhere else) but with an small bag I have enough for the movie. Staff always nice. You can't ask for more. Big screen for less than $6 dollars, plus right in downtown. Love it!!!
A great cinema with reclining seats but and old local feel. You buy tickets online, at a machine outside or at the concession. The seats were all just replaced and are very comfortable
Really like this cinema apart from the stinky men's bathrooms. Need autoflush urinals and more regular cleaning checks.
A landmark theatre. Has the asthetic of an old theatre. Definitely a great place for a downtown date night.
Very dirty inside. Walls are dirty. Only thing great was reclining chairs. Sound on the movie was way to loud. Left with bad headaches.
clean, buying tickets online was easy. tthe chairs are new and can recline. ent there on a Tuesday so got the Tuesday special
Great movie theatre. Lots of old school vibes and amazing seats that recline
Love the reclining sofa and comfort to movie watching.
Nice new reclining seats and pretty good sound. This theatre has done some nice renovations since I was last here.
As one of the older cinemas in Victoria the was a time I wasn't sure if they would keep up. But, they have done a good job here with the improved seating (recliners). Otherwise, the place hasn't changed by all appearances and the screen sizes are smaller than Silvercity. I probably won't be back though. Only having bathrooms in the basement is a fatal flaw... especially if you go there with kids.
Hands down my favourite theater with a classic style entrance and amazing seats!
There are no more ticket kiosks at Cineplex Odeon. More jobs lost. If you haven't bought your ticket on line, you either pay at the automated machine or pay at the concession. We waited over 20 minutes! The one employee we did speak to had zero customer service skills. Next time we'll go to Capital 6 Theatre.
One of the better movie theaters in town. Missed an earlier show and they changed my ticket to a later time with no extra charge. The facility is a bit older but has all of the features of a modern theater.
Best chairs ever! come here just for the reclining theatre seats
Recliner seats are awesome. The theatre size is relatively small, quality of sound and picture are great. Definitely going again.
This place was good, but them became great when they added the reclining chairs. Popcorn's a bit pricey though
Love this theater in the heart of downtown. Comfortable reclining chairs. Great picture, great sound. Especially enjoy afternoon movies at this location where it's quite often not so terribly busy.
such nice seats and good downtown location
I like the recliner seats and the location is super convenient for me.
My family went to watch the Incredibles for Nephews birthday, we had to miss the first 10 minutes of the film because there was only one poor girl working the counter trying to provide an enormous amount of food to the customers before us, I could see the manager walking around and a couple of other staff members in a back room not bothering to jump in and help....we were not impressed.
I love the recliner seats, is usually clean (not super sticky floors like at some theatres) and staff are always hella friendly. Also like the selection of movies they offer!
Comfortable reclining seats and a small capacity theatre.
Like the new comfy chairs, though my orignal seat was not working to recline.
Spacious.. comfortable... affordable.
The chairs here are awesome, full recline, the staff are great and it's located right center of downtown Victoria on Yates Street. Great classic theater.
The chairs here are awesome, full recline, the staff are great and it's located right center of downtown Victoria on Yates Street. Great classic theater.
Cozy power seats. Old theater, washroom is way in basement its kinda shady but fine
Great chairs, well maintained room are small so the screen but good sound.
Recliners are really comfy! Audio isn't as good as silver city though.
We thought we lost our single set of car keys in one of the reclining seats, the staff were great about lost and found procedures, and the manager on duty (3/4/2017 @ 9pm) put in an extended effort to lift and look under our seats, let us go through the garbage and 3D glasses. He really did go out of his way to help us and it was greatly appreciated! Keys were locked in the car...
The best cinema in Downtown Victoria.
Pretty good seats, but the issue is is that the AC seemed to be broken, as it was very hot in the theatre.
Old outdated and feels to warm for comfort inside. Fell asleep during 2 movies because of the heat.
This is a well run theatre,, clean and the movies run on time. Friendly staff, especially the older fellow that takes your ticket at the door.
Scene free tickets is my only reason for going to Odeon. Capitol 6 is way better. Less crowded, seats are bigger and more comfortable.
Small ish theatre. Nice reclining leather seats, but your back and butt get quite hot . Make sure to sit in the seat you actually pay for. You also get 15% off at Yates tap House with your stub.
Old school cinema, confusing, large, amazing. Only problem is the occasional sound bleed between theaters but that's pretty constant if you're listening for it. One of my favorite theaters in town
Very clean theatre and comfortable reclining leather seats
Great seats, great screen, okay popcorn, sound is far too quiet. I'm getting my ears checked out because it's that quiet.
The reclining seats are a nice touch.
Awful. Terrible. The lobby was a total mess, the theatre was absolutely freezing, and worst of all, the concession staff had no access to the cooler where they keep the drinks and the cream for coffee. Considering the $50 I had to spend for show tickets, it felt like a waste of money all around.
Great snack/drink selection, reclining seats are a huge reason why I choose this theater over many of the other local theaters.
Great theatre and decent prices, but the screens are tiny and not directly ahead of you.
Comfy reclining chairs and cute setting. Smaller screens and a bit dated, but it's still a great charming cinema
Perfect cinema, with brand-new leather recliners... Real comfy! Prices are really good, especially on Tuesdays.
If they didn’t have the recliners and assigned seating would never go there. Floors were sticky, garbages were overflowing.
Concession line was a little slow. Everything else was great!
Recliner seats brought this place right up to date. Make sure you book early if you're going to a popular choice on a Tuesday night. The only thing I don't like is the long walk to the bathrooms, then again maybe a long walk is what I need after I eat all that popcorn.
There are several cinema settings inside. Therefore, not crowded at all. I watched 1971 film there. It was really good.
Love going. The seating is the best. It's cold in there though...brrr
So nice to put your feet up
The new reclining seats at this theater make watching films a really comfortable experience!
Cineplex quality is good. For washroom every time you have to go to basement ????????
Super Comfy seats but they need to invest in a good sound system!
Nice seating , social distancing enforced... Nice staff
Great seats. Would be nice if the kiosks actually worked and had paper.
Recliner chairs that can be pre-booked make this theatre a real pleasure.
The reclining seats are extremely comfortable! Staff is friendly also. Basement bathrooms are a little awkward though.
Great little theatre downtown with super comfy recliners for seating.
Seats are comfy kid screaming though throughout movie
while they have improved slightly with comfy seats, it doesn't make up for flickering projector bulbs and blurry lenses
Loved it.great and comfortable seats, perfect leg space and perfect view of the screen.
Row D seat 10 recliner didnt recline but I love the odeon and had a great time anyway.
Not a fan of their "so-called" luxury reclining seats, and the noise of popcorn eating. Hard to concentrate on film with surround sound munching.
Awesome place to watch movies ????
Best seats have ever had two lots of room for your legs electric reclining chairs
Tried to order tickets on the app and the website for this location. Both failed with unknown errors so came downtown to but tickets hours before the movie and was already sold out. Show it is sold out online so I don't waste my time finding downtown parking and then can't go to my movie.
Amazing seats and a good value proposition to go to. Smaller, older screens but a great viewing experience with the sesting
Really cool older style theatre with reclining seats!
Great location. Theatres are not the best and need better sound proofing
They have reclining chairs. Reclining. Chairs. Most comfy theatre I've ever been in.
Comfortable reclining seats, what's not to love about that.
The employees were amazing! The girl with short black bobbed/shoulder length hair was super nice and the tall guy behind her helping her with popcorn was super nice and fast. However, the manager/supervisor working during 9:30-10pm on Tuesday December 21st was TERRIBLE. He was screaming at employees (it's just a movie dude. It's not that big of a deal) and overall being rude and terrible. He was also not so nice to customers but I'm more concerned about the borderline swearing at his minimum-wage, friendly, hardworking employees. I would recommend promoting someone that cares about their employees and getting rid of him.
Seats are wonderful screen is small. But a good time was had by all.
Really nice reclining seats here and great location right downtown and though the screens are a bit small compared to their newer, modern counterparts. If you want big screen action, don’t sit in the first 2 rows or toward the back, you might be disappointed with the view and the sound. Sitting in the middle seats would be ideal.
Love the reclining seats. Would like bigger screens.
The seats are awesome! The small theatre really sucks... Make sure you check out the hotdog nacho combo!
Always the best movie experience with the recliner seating.
Comfortable seats with huge screen. Good sound.
Nice theatre. ..movies are soooo much better on screen..
Was in Cinema 2 and while the recliner leather seats are pretty comfortable, the theater was really long!
Great picture and sound quality, amazingly comfortable reclining seats as standard and v friendly staff.
The seats recline and are super comfy what more could you ask for!!
comfy seats but not always a good crowd.
This cinema is NOT clean. I attended a film last week with my and when he went to use the bathrooms they were filthy. We paid for the screening with the recliner seats and although they were comfortable the actual screen was extremely small. The worst part of the experience was when we were leaving when the film had ended. A mouse ran past and into a small hole under a closed door! I emailed cineplex to report this but they failed to respond to my email. I would highly avoid going to this cinema because of the small screen and uncleanliness. UPDATE I wrote to the management of the cinema and they have confirmed that maintenance will be carried out to inspect the mouse situation.
This movie house is intimate, I appreciate the smaller theatres. It's well kept and service is friendly. My theater of choice in downtown Victoria.
The new recliners are super comfortable! The theatre I had seemed to have a weird seating arrangement, didn't create an issue though. Prices are standard.
Just saw MI6 there and the thinking seats were awesome!!
Excellent young staff! Great old historic theater!
Friendly staff, great place to catch a flick, especially in the theatres with full-on recliner seats.
Awesome theater! The seating was the absolute best I've ever had in any theater with full reclining leather seats with tonnes of room between rows. Although the screens were small in comparison to other theaters I've been to I think that the seat layout and actual theater size 100% compensated for it. The food is still pricey but as far as movie seeing goes in victoria or even BC this is the most comfortable experience ive had even in comparison to the VIP theaters in other Cineplex locations . Couldn't recommend more
Took my daughter (3years old) to her very first movie theatre experience here. It was the very first movie theatre my dad took me when I was a kid of the 80s. I still remember back then it was only a 3 screen theater! Seen the movie theatre go through major renovations of size over the decades... The most recent being the new seats and updated viewing experience. Instead of reviewing a theatre by the pricing the Industry sets on their snacks or the amount of commercials, im basing my review on how this theatre is still relevant today. The manager and staff are very friendly and the theatre is well maintained. And wow the seats are amazing.... I was so happy to look over at my daughter experiencing her first movie at this theatre. She watched "Incredibles 2"
Got to love those recliners. Overall I think Capitol 6 do the recliners better, but the screen size is smaller so it's always a trade off. Here you get the bigger screen and better sound, but slightly inferior chairs and inferior concessions. Ultimately they never show the same movies so that'll obviously be your deciding factor. They accept scene points. Don't miss out on the amazing Turkish food next door.
It's smaller than silver City, and the sound isn't as good... But the giant reclining chairs more Than make up for it. I'm not a giant guy, but I still feel squished in most other movie theatres. That is not the case with the reserved seats here.
Reclining seats, easy parking, super friendly staff.
Theatre staff are always friendly and helpful. Seating is comfortable, and the popcorn is quality. I don't see movies anywhere else now!
Super comfy reclining seats. Small screen.
Nice movie theatre! The new reclining seats are excellent. The popcorn is a bit salty for me and the only bathrooms are in the basement unfortunately. I love the old atmosphere and how the theatre is tucked away in the middle of the city.
Oh man, this place is great, sure the screens are a tad, teeny tiny bit smaller but the SEATS oh lawd, them S E A T S, Lie down and watch, sit up straight, do it however you like it with their electric adjustable chairs, They are so comfy and soft, it's like pillows. Audio is great and so is the screen, would reccomend. So fun much comfy, wow entertainment.
Fine compared to other Cineplex places. This one has a lot of parking and it isn't run down but it isn't new.
An iconic downtown movie theatre, they have upgraded their seats and they got recliners now super comfortable, good selection of movies, and fair prices! 5/5!
Love this theatre for reclining seats! I wish they had a better dining selection like Silver City. Their condiments area is always a mess and missing some item, most recently salt and napkins. They also have their drink cooler in an odd spot - I always see people awkwardly trying to get in to grab their beverage, but there are people blocking the fridge door because they're waiting in line. If they would just turn it face front instead of at an angle it would be more efficient. Also, there is a theatre (I think 1) that has seats up against the wall, so to exit you have to cross over the whole row and the screen seems so much smaller. Also bathrooms are all the way downstairs (that can be 2 floors down) is a pain if you have to go in the middle of the movie. But still a 4 rating because of them seats! Oh and park in Johnson St parkade because it is free in the evening and you just cut through the open alley and hang a left.
Very nice theatre with extremely comfortable seats. Recline all the way back like a lazy boy. Only downside is the washrooms are way down in the basement. Quite a hike from the upper theatres.
Renovated 1980s cinema. Multiple theatres, recliners and reserved seating. Very clean, friendly service. Blockbuster and art house movies. Classic Victoria cinema!
Clean Theaters and comfortable new recliner seating.
Its the nicest theatre i have ever been too
Was standing in line waiting to buy tickets and food from the concession, while 3 staff behind the counter were doing their best to keep up with a Sunday Matinee rush, and the old male general manager walks by and says "quickly ladies, quickly". Extremely unimpressed with this comment/treatment of workers, who were already busting it and doing a great job. The seats are better than basic theater seats, but still fall short of Capitol 6, across the street. If I don't have a free pass, I always go to the Capitol 6, and every one else should do the same.
The upgraded seats definitely add to the experience. All in all not a bad place to enjoy a movie night out despite the slightly smaller screens.
The seats were leather reclining but weren't all that comfortable. There was a musky smell throughout the theatre and the popcorn wasnt great. It's an old theatre but still enjoyed the movie we went to see.
Movie was excellent. Seats were awesome. Popcorn was cold and mushy.
Visuals went out for a good 2 minutes while the audio was still going. Garbage theatre. Capitol 6 across the street is far better
Comfy reclining seats, really nice people. The lineup for the snacks was so long though
Top notch movie theater! Great service and the most comfortable reclining seats.
Friendly staff, quick lineups and lots of parking
I think all theatures now have recliners for the same price as before
I really like the Odeon theatre, I have been watching movies there since I was a kid I really like the seats I think they are very comfortable and the air control is perfect not too hot not too cold its a wonderful experience .
This is an awesome movie theatre. An employee and his friends watched Avengers: Endgame at the Odeon to cap off their night. The reclining chairs are a very luxurious touch. The popcorn is addicting and the service is friendly. This is definitely our go-to movie theatre in Victoria!
The most comfortable theatre in town. The reclining seats are awesome.
Reclining seats, small theatres, and quiet on a week day evening. only complaint is the seating isn't tiered so you can see heads infront of you.
Awesome seats. Only problem is the main screen where the view is blocked by a bar if you're sitting halfway up the seating.
The outside and inside the lobby is misleading. It looks really old and dated. And although the theatre rooms themselves also appear to outdated by paint colour scheme, the reclining leather chairs make up for it. I enjoyed it, was very comfortable.
Best seats in town! Recliners
Average movie-going experience, concession is fine, theatre seats etc are decent, but they haven't had the AC on in their theatres since reopening after COVID. I'm sure they'll say it's for safety, but it's just as likely they're keeping costs down. Every movie I've seen since COVID has been uncomfortably hot. Will continue to go across the street for movies whenever possible.
Great big reclining chairs make for more comfortable movie experience.
It was hard to see what the seats looked like from the theatre map, and when I waited in line to get switch seats, the cashier told me to go to a different till. The condiment stand was also hella dirty and only one staff member seemed to to want to be there. Not the best experience, however they tend to have the more popular movies.
The reclining seats here are nice but the cineplexes still show their age. They've been retrofitted many times over the years. A decent place to see a film if one of the better theatres isn't showing it at a better theatre.
Not in the best spot in Victoria but the movies are always great to watch here.
Quite a unique design as it is an older theatre. It's pleasant with new reclining seats. Food prices are astronomical though as with almost all theatres today
One of better Cineplex I been too because it’s has retro but modern feel to it. The recliner seats are the match better to watch movies on because you lean back and make your self feel like home. But the screens are tiny compared to other threats. To get tickets it is kinda odd because sometimes you purchase at snack bar or outside. I think thread could be less confusing by making it all the time you purchase tickets outside or at the snack bar.
I just love the fact that Bollywood Movies are now coming often. Its a great thing for me personally but as a whole, recliner seats does make a difference.
Super comfy recliner seats, however some seats have poor visibility. Also the only washrooms are in the basement so you have to run down 4 flights of stairs in the middle of your movie to use the facilities.
Great place to watch movies of all languages. Parking is a bit concern.
A great place to watch movies, they have the giant recliners which are the best way to watch anything!
Really Good For those disabled although the concession staff are poor and very slow
Cheap movies nice seats
Love the seats. Wish the bathrooms weren't all the way in the basement.
Great facilities! Super clean and good Covid protocols as well. I love the seats!
Great place for a cheap Tuesday movie! All pre-booked recliners (very comfortable) so no need to worry about lines or showing up early. It does get very busy at night, so if you can get an afternoon showing, it's much quieter.
Recliner seats, great popcorn, what more do you need in a cinema?
Always a great movie experience, they didn't have popcorn ready, to the clerk came into the theatre with popcorn! Above and beyond. Monkey Beach!!!
Only good thing is the recliner seats. Washrooms too far. Screen is smaller than Silvercity. Sound system is not good.
Good place to watch movies at. Has a concession to get food at.
This is my favourite movie theatre in the Victoria area! The seats are the most comfortable and I love that you reserve your seats before going in.
Friendly staff great chair good food
Great seating, quality screens and sounds, very friendly staff. The popcorn is nothing special though, standard fare. But the location is great and as I said the seats are awesome.
A great movie theater in heart of downtown Victoria. It has big reclinable chairs with tons of legroom.
Great theater, has always been the best run movie house in Victoria
Impressive. Love the new decor and comfortable seating. Absolutely great experience.well worth the top star rating
Good theater, reasonable prices, but smallish screens.
Recliners!!! Choose your seat when you purchase your ticket. So civilized. This is the future of all movie theaters
While the suburbs ‘megaplex’ might be a choice for some. The Odeon did a massive upgrade with reclining seating, wide rows for easy access. This is our preferred style for movie theatres. Theatre 5 is a little larger so closer seats are recommended. In 6 and 7 any seat works for us. Always recommend booking online or with the mobile App for easy access. Bring your Scene card if you are a points collector.
The seats are huge recliners that are fantastic! Everything's kind of expensive but it's worth it.
How could you not like this place?? Just give it 5 stars and stop reading! It plays movies on a BIG screen and you can buy popcorn. Do you need more?? Of course YOU could sit at home and watch this movie on your “home theater system”....but deep inside...you know you ain’t got a bigger screen than this. We can bring out the measuring tape and show the audience...but your screen is smaller. Just accept it and come watch your next movie here:)
All seats are reclining Bathrooms are all downstairs which is difficult if you're in theaters 5 or higher
Great movie theatre in downtown Victoria! Hard to believe such a big theatre can be downtown! If you're trying to find the best theatre in Victoria, go to SilverCity FOR SURE, it is the best in my opinion. But this still is a good theatre, don't get me wrong! It you're looking for a spot right in downtown Victoria to watch a movie, this is your place since SilverCity is a bit on the outskirts of Victoria.
Has nice reclining chairs which makes every seat in the house awesome!
The reclining seats are great but the volume is usually too loud. I actually bring earplugs when I go to the movies here.
Connect to the other worlds!
This is the BEST place to watch movies in town.
Excellent service movie was great I had wonderfull time thanks
Great reclining seats. And thankfully the time between the 'start' of the movie and the start of the movie was short and mostly trailers. Lots of parking within two-three blocks. Too bad Fallout was sooo bad ...
The new recliners are a wonderful improvement. This theatre tends to get more independent films as it has a couple of smaller screens.
It's a nice enough theatre, the reclining seats are comfortable (though I'll dare to say it that the capitol 6's chairs are better) it's a bit bungly at the entrance and the set up with the concession creates chaos when it's busy (the line ups for food stop moviegoers from easily passing to get to the theatres) but my biggest complaint is the soundproofing. I can hear the theatres next door while our movie is going, which can ruin cinematic effects with sound. A good theatre, but it is Cineplex...
Owner scolded staff in the middle of a feature film showtimes, theater is nice. Owner needs to respect staff and not humilate them on the floor
Vintage cinema with blockbuster and indie movie. The seats are very comfortable!
Great seats but the entrance and lobby needs updating.
Nice cinema, good amount of space for each other with reclining chairs!
With the new Reno's and seating this theatre definitely had a major upgrade. The electric reclining seating is very comfortable, plenty of leg room, and a great feature. The theatres are on the smaller size so not many seats and there's no stairs so much easier for anyone with mobility challenges. The only gripe I would say is the Washrooms, all the way down in the basement and not easy to get to, can make you miss a fair bit of the show if you need to use them.
Good environment. Love it
We got to the theater 30 minutes before the movie started. Only 6 people in line ahead of us when we arrived.... and we still ended up missing the trailers! The kids behind the till reminded me of sloths. (Very nice, just no gumption.) The reclining chair is the only reason I gave it an extra star.
The new recliner seats are a dream! I'm used to going to Silver City and have avoided the downtown theatres because of parking and the old uncomfortable seating. Definitely swaying me to come see a movie downtown more often, it's almost as comfortable as watching at home with the bonus of a huge screen. I recommend giving them a try if you haven't been since they refurbished the seats.
The chairs are wonderfully comfortable the popcorn not so good.
I don't go to movies often, but I must say, since they installed the fully reclining seats, it's an absolute joy to watch a movie in a theater again. The key here, and with every other movie theater, is to smuggle in your own drinks and food. If you don't, you'll spend $30 on popcorn and pop, which is, of course, ridiculous. But I must say, the reclining seats in all the theaters are outstanding. Even if you have someone sitting right next to you that you don't know, you have plenty of room, you can recline almost all the way back and not bother anyone including the person behind you, and it really is a nice experience. I will never go to another theater does that does not have reclining seats like the Odeon does. Just not paying that kind of money to sit in some POS norrmal seat and watch it Steerage Style.
Theaters are outdated compared to other cineplex locations particularly the screen size. But this is due to the old building and no additional space to expand.
Awesome theater very clean
Great movie palace.
Was there for the first time the past Tuesday… the recliner was comfortable, there weren’t a lot of people, seemed clean enough… so the experience was good. The screen could be a little bigger though imo but whatever
The new recliner theatre is actually way better than I expected. Super comfy chairs and there's enough room to avoid the awkward sidle to your seat.
Full Reclining chairs! Reservations required. Great movie experience.
Had some problems with screen in theater 6. The manager gave us 2 passes for another visit.
Thought I'd miss the reclining seats but honestly didn't because of the stadium seating. Of course the socially distanced seats makes it much better, in terms of room and comfort. Lots of people on cash so no wait at the counter and the popcorn was fresh. Will be back.
I love this Cineplex with smaller theatres and really comfortable seats.
Best theatre in town new leather recliners and assigned seating is a great upgrade
Excellent location with decent seating, the building is showing a bit of its age at this point and of course it's over priced but what movie theatre isn't now a days.
Very busy place. Expensive food if you want to have some while watching a movie. 2 bathrooms available and about 8 theatres so there are usually choices for movies.
Excellent new seats - very comfortable!
Awesome reclining seats in all theatres!
Generally a good experience(albeit a small screen), but today i found that theatre 3 had two issues. There was a blue dot near the middle of the screen, like a burnt out pixel on a monitor. Also, the screen looked dirty during bright parts of the movie (Arctic) On a positive note, reclining seats are comfortable
Love getting tickets online ahead of time to just sail through in time for the trailers.
Nice and comfy seats, good location, One of the nice movie theater in downtown.
Always enjoyed the convenient location of this theatre as I live close to downtown. Very comfy movie experience, since the addition of the recling seats a few years back.
Reclining seat are rad but the buttons are on the inside of the arm rest. Sometimes you hit it without wanting to
Its like going to an old fashioned movie theatre without a person at the ticket booth. The outside has the old fashioned feel but the theatres themselves have the current day, cozy reclining seats which is great! The only downside would be the carpet in the lobby area, it looked a little dated.
My favorite movie theatre ever! The seats are the most comfy and go down all the way!
Clean and nicely laid out. Staff is friendly and the theater seats are super comfortable! They recline electronically and extremely easy to fall asleep in. You can purchase tickets on the street at two electronic tickets sales machines. All seats are reserved so I would highly recommend purchasing your tickets early to secure a good spot for your group. The theater has 3D movies and decent sound as well.
The reclining seats are a step up for sure! Tuesdays are your best bet for a stellar date night.
Good place to see the movies. The washroom are in the basement and the threatres on upstairs so its a good trek if you gotta go!
Manager is a really nice gentleman. The upgrades done in recent years are amazing! The deluxe LA-Z-Boy style chairs are out of this world!! Brought our girl to watch a family film. It was an awesome experience for the whole family.
Great little studio. Love the recliner seats
You can finally go back to the movies! But now, they charge for "layered" butter in your popcorn...boo!
Brings me back to my childhood. Just a Yates Street. Landmark to me.
I love being able to book seats in advance so we don't have to show up early to get a seat
Clean facility and had bunches of movie options (recliners, 3D, etc.). Kind and respectful staff too!
What you lack in screen size you make up for by having the biggest most comfortable seats in all of Victoria.
Full leather reclining seats. Limited control. Seats are lacking in padding. Narrow as compared to other premium seats.
Love the new comfy seats they put into the theater, you never want to get up and leave haha.
Comfy seats. Movies that will be popular come here here first. Reorganized entrance separates concession and food preparation better.
Endgame was amazing! +1 For the great seats
Older theater that comes with charm. Spacious seating. Bathrooms are located on bottom floor however an elevator is available. Buy tickets ahead of time as lineups are common for popular movies.
Reclining seats are better at the Capital 6 Theatres. I love their popcorn! Cost of food and snacks expensive.
The recliners make watching movies extremely enjoyable.
Laid back old-school theater. Compared to the new screens, it's not that great. But been around as long as I can remember and has some good indie movies that won't play in the main theaters
Good service, polite staff
The best theater seats I have ever sat in!! THEY RECLINE. Amazing. Such a great experience.
I maybe a little spoiled since all of the theaters near home in California are really nice. I'm not accustomed to a theater that pre packages the popcorn and that surprised me. The highlight are the seats. They are very comfy - almost too comfy? I took a little nap during the movie. ????
This theatre has excellent reclining leather seats that make the viewing experience way better than other theatres. You won't want to go back to airplane-style theatres again. Now, if only they could fix those dark, urine-smelling basement bathrooms...
Awesome movie theatre!!! Very clean and the staff is super friendly. The seats are A M Azing!! The only thing that doesn't give this rating a 5 star is the basement bathrooms. Oh the bathrooms are very well kept and beautifully designed.....there just in the basement so take a friend with you if you scare easily.
This architectural design art piece keeps us movie goers coming oh my goodness yes!!! oh wait the big auditorium is a little cramped for full leg rest extension, I may have fallen off one a number of times in on show. Amazing place to have grow up with in my movie watching life! Kinâskômatîn Thank you Odeon theatre
A nice theatre, but aging. Older style "flat" theatres, but charming anyway.
Fifty shades darker, the husband and recliner chairs all equal a perfect date night
Nice movie experience. Imax screen. Comfortable chairs. Minus - food and drinks are very expensive.
Best seats out of any cineplex I've ever been too
In the past going to the movie was a big thing, but in the age where one can be comfortable at home, I don't see a big point in going out to a movie and paying that much for not only admission but also for anything you may want to eat or drink. The seats are very comfortable now and recline. However, if one has to go to the washroom and is in one of the upper theaters it is a long trek down. If one takes the elevators it takes a long time, but if one takes the stairs it is quite a trek too. I suppose if you want to see a show downtown though this would be the place to go.
Best cineplex in the city! Comfortable, clean, and friendly service.
I was a great experience, the staff are friendly, and the seats are very comfortable! It does not feel like you’re sitting on the next person’s lap, as the seats are very spacious, and you have more than enough room to relax. The screens, projector, and sounds is tomorrow great quality
Cozy reclining seats. Can hear the deep rumble of bass from neighboring theaters though.
Great spot for the family and the recliners? Awesome ????
Old location but renovated with reclining seats. But not the best in town.
Pretty good theater if you are downtown. We tend to go to Tillicum mall cineplex for action movies now but it's decent here.
Comfortable seats. Clean. Small awkwardly placed screens. Basement bathrooms are kind of novel
Really loved the reclining chairs! The staff was friendly. Prices is a bit much. But so is all movie theaters.
Nothing too noteworthy about the theatres themselves and I have found the popcorn quite fresh tasting unlike previous reviewer but if you tend to want to go to the washroom before the show give yourself lots of time,,, it is in the basement ..so 2 flights of stairs and a long hallway walk.
seats were comfy
The movie theater is a bit small but has a nice atmosphere for a Cineplex theater, and is probably my favorite movie theater in Victoria.
Good sized seats, average concession prices.
I love the reclining seats that's what brings me back every time
Great to see this theatre open again. Love the new seats...great Dolby...
Its always where i go, its never been crowed and the service is great
Staff at this location are always on point and very helpful :) keep up the great work!
Great for watching movies in fully reclining leather chairs. Definitely makes for a better movie experience.
Fantastic customer service, the manager goes above and beyond every time.
Old school feel and very friendly. Wonderful seats.
The line up was fast and staff was sooo friendly keep up the hard work staff
Good atmosphere. I appreciate a theatre that sticks to a classic look more. I bring my own food and drink or nothing at all. Go back to reasonable prices for good product! The experience puts people back in the seats.
Manager litteraly yelled at staff and customers because it was busy. He got mad because there weren't clearly defined lines... hmmmm maybe something to mark where to line up could help? Staff was super duper friendly, everything else was fine.
It was great... only the bathroom is my problem, kind of scary
Although I sadly believe this is dying as a retail segment, this is nicely done. It's an older building but the way that they've made accommodations for people like myself (in a wheelchair) is been well done. That being said, I don't know why they stopped updating anything outside. If you are driving by you can't even check to see what's playing. If they aren't going to use the board I suppose they could replace it with something (they could put an LED board up instead, that easily updates without anyone having to fiddle with a long stick and plastic letters?). Finding parking downtown can also be a problem. This historic theatre's days may be numbered, but it's still a good place to go.
Handy downtown location. Easy walking distance from the core and surrounding region. Parking ok most of the time.
Comfy seats. Snacks are kinda pricey
Love the experience everytime. Nice comfortable reclining seats with lots of space. Sound could be better though.
5 stars if only the washroom didn't take a marathon to reach. (I'm just slow.)
Old school cinema with some very comfy recliner chairs.
Generally love going to this theatre but recently had a bit of a run-in with who I am assuming is the manager. I went to pick up my online tickets and declined his offer of help in doing so; however when I was not able to IMMEDIATELY print the tickets, he pulled my phone out of my hand and scanned it for me. I did not appreciate him taking my phone, nor his assistance when I specifically declined. In future, it would probably be better not to harass your patrons.
Such a great theatre, fantastic, comfy leather seats, really cool location, multiple levels, just an all around fun experience.
Comfortable seating, not overly large screen, and volume was not set to 11 (kudos to staff for that last one - a simple thing that almost every theatre gets wrong and that ruins so many trips to see a show) My only complaints: way too slow at concession stand and items were outrageously overpriced.
Basic (though a bit dated) movie going experience. Would like to see some of the new leather seats that other places are getting installed.
Good time and super relaxing in those recliners.
I love this theatre, front row is my favorite.
Basic (though a bit dated) movie going experience. Would like to see some of the new leather seats that other places are getting installed.
Super comfortable seating... might fall asleep. Screen was too small
Nice theatre and good reclining seats
Out of two box office kiosks out front, one was out of order. Concession lines were so intimidatingly long that we didn't dare venture to see if there were other ticket booths. PRO TIP: park in the garage behind the theater then across the street. Safe and affordable.
This is the best place to see movies, hands down. Nice screens, awesome reclining seats and the fabulous feature of allowing pre-booked choice of seats. You can pre select your seats and show up at the last minute. It's also an extremely civilized bargain on half-price Tuesdays. I hate the hassles of going downtown and finding parking, but it's worth it for a good movie at this cinema.
Good theater with the large reclining seats so makes for a better experience.
The best recliner seat movie experience in town.
Theaters have been updated comfortable one of the screened seems a bit to small for the space
Reclining seats. Floor plan a little confusing
For the size and location, this movie theatre does its job well. Staff have always been friendly to me, screens and sound systems are pretty good and the prices aren't too bad.
Great recliners. Concession is mighty pricey. Air conditioning wasn't adequate and we stuck to the chairs. Movie and sound are top notch.
Love the new reclining leather seats. Made a me at 3 hour movie tolerable.
Chairs inferior to Capitol 6, bathrooms located only in the basement 3 floors below.
I have a bad knee so the fully reclining seats are great to enjoy movies comfortably and have extra space. Theatre is usually quiet in the afternoons as well, and I love being able to choose my seat ahead of time.
Love the recliner seats! The concession is great. Only bathroom is in the basement which is a long way down when your movie is on the second floor.
2nd best place to see a movie in town. The seats are very comfy and the screens are large. Expensive food though. But I guess it's the same everywhere.
Super awesome since they upgraded those chairs.
Those reclining seeds are amazing. Theater is dated but who cars the seats are amazing and medium size popcorn only cost $7. If you go Sundays street parking is free which is great too
Good to be back in person. Great sound track
A 50 cent surcharge for reclining seats? I swear, cineplex is one of the most greedy corporations in Canada. It doesn't help that they have an 80% share of the theatre market in Canada. Don't we have anti-monopoly laws for a reason? Every new movie that debuts is only shown in 3D, AVX, IMAX, or DBOX these days in order to force the consumer to pay higher ticket prices. If you just wanna see a 2D show, good luck. You gotta wait at least 2 weeks for 2D showings. As a film buff, I hate cineplex with a passion. This theatre chain is full of the most slimy business practices. We really need to get some competition in the theatre market in Canada to drive down ticket prices and get a better movie-going experience for the consumer. It's a race to the bottom for quality standards with cineplex.
Comfy reclining lazy boys...need i say more....
Very nice facility however they close the food/drink stations early.
Great place to take in a movie, upgraded leather recliners are a great addition!
I have to admit it was weird being in a theatre since the whole lockdown last year but I will only see movies at cineplex theaters but wicked seating we have full on recliners at the location I go to for movies. Great place to get a flick in
Comfortable seats, clean place but earing the movie next door was so annoying!
Love the location. Right downtown. Park at the Johnson Street Parkade and walk through a pedestrian alley to the movie theatre. Clean. Great staff. ACCESSIBLE. Toilets in basement with elevator access. Great selection of movies. We go there all the time.
Not a theatre to watch action movies in. They renovated the seats to complete with Capitol 6, I guess? But Capital 6's seats are better, and I dont think the Reno was worth it. If you have big hips, you will probably bump the recliner button. I used to love the oldness of this theatre. It had a better atmosphere for the less action movies. It has much smaller screens Too many stairs, and their bathrooms are in the basement. And they're creepy. Buying tickets is a pain, and the concession lines are VERY slow. Better to go to Capital 6, or Silver City for most things.
This is the first theatre I have ever been inside of in my entire life that does not have 3 rows of bad seats crammed up against the screen giving everybody in them neck problems. Also they're all fancy recliners? Has theater seat technology evolved and I just havent been around to see it? Either way I'm here for it now
My fav
Nice seats, even in the small theatre. Nice to be back at the movies. Only missing some amenities that would get to 5 stars.
There was six of us out for an early evening show. With six theatres to choose from at the Cineplex Odeon Victoria, we thought everyone would be satisfied. In fact, we were perfectly satisfied because we all ended up viewing Madame. We were a bit puzzled when the film ended but sorted it out afterwards with a good discussion. Seating was certainly comfortable with the reclining seats. Parking spaces were a few blocks away but I guess we made a dent in our daily steps requirement.
love it war movie there
S great place to see a movie. Seats are super comfortable and spacious. Very clean. Only downside was how cold it was in there.
Comfy wide seats on Auditorium # 1. But if seat angle was slightly more incline it would have been perfect. After a while I'm facing neck strain. Compared to Silvercity, this screen is 1 knotch below in my opinion in terms of the size, width, height. I could be wrong. To reach rest room have to use stairs to reach 1 floor below. Sound system ok but I feel Silvercity's better. I could be wrong again. Auditorium hall is smaller than Silvercity for sure. Concession stalls offers less choices in food, again in comparison. Noticed very friendly staff aiming to please. Lastly, only street parking if watching movie. In Silvercity it's free. However there's a parkade behind on Johnson street. Only first hour is free during the day but after 6 is free too.
Great place in downtown Victoria to watch movies, seats are very comfortable, only downside is limited concession and long concession lines due to understaffing at the concession stands. No outtakes (burgers, fries, poutine, etc.) At this theater.
I'm pretty sure two medium drinks and a large popcorn shouldn't be $18. Is that just me?
Complicated procedure to buy tickets. Concession stand is too expensive. Too many trailers and commercials before the movie. I do not understand why they show movies in which so much important dialogue is spoken in throaty whispers that are difficult bit understand. Subtitles are needed!
We had an issue with seat selection. Decided to get a refund and come back. Manager Pierre was 100% helpful. Love the reclining seats. Great time.
I love that this theatre is conveniently downtown. Go on Tuesday for discounted movies!
very comfy if u dont get behind rail
If you're using Scene points the Odeon is one of the comfier Cineplex theatres with their new recliners.
Love the upgrades! It's our go-to theatre now, recliner seats are amazing. ????????
It would be great to have bathrooms other than in the basement
You can finally go back to the movies! But now, they charge for "layered" butter in your popcorn...boo!
Lot of option for movie and the seat is very comfortable
Great new reclining seats! Washrooms are way down in the basement. Standard concession
The seats are so comfortable but the screen size is quite insignificant.
Wonderfully comfy reclining chairs and neat staff all smiles
Old cinema but reclyed seats comfortable, nice amp.
Best seats, lots of space, very comfortable, the best place see a movie in victoria.
Seats were great, and the show was at a perfect volume. The popcorn was burnt, but the soda was good. Would have been a 5 star rating if the bathrooms hadn't been in the basement. The bathrooms were clean though.
Fabulous place for watching a movie. Very clean, spaced out and almost empty.
Awesome movie theatre. Nice large automatic recliner seats to relax in during the show. Reasonable prices. Maximum comfort
Smaller screen, but nice seats.
What are they thinking? Comfortable seats sure, but they only have electronic ticket kiosk outside and all other ticket sales go through the concession counter. So you have to wait for everyone trying to figure out what their going to eat, just to get your movie tickets. Buy online and skip all that mess.
Dirty. Theatre not yet cleaned while I write this review with only 5 minutes to the start of the movie. Reclining seats not enjoyable if I suspect them being dirty and (probably) hastily tidied up. If I hadn't already waited for an hour and a half, I probably would've left. It'll be a long while before I entertain giving this theatre another chance. Unacceptable. *Quick Update: Two staff membrrs finally came just as I initially submitted my review and, as suspected, rushed to clean it within a couple of minutes. Still some small garbage left over on the ground but that's not a surprise with how quick they had to be. Sad.
I don't give five stars often but the seats alone are worth that. Be careful not to fall asleep I almost did once, and it wasn't because the film was boring. Ok my age may have played a factor I need an afternoon nap now...No it was the damn seats too comfy.
As far as downtown movie theaters go, the Odeon is one of the better ones. They recently updated their seating and I gotta say it makes a huuuuge difference. Looking forward to watching even more movies in the months to come.
Great theatre! Comfy seats, full recline and friendly staff.
Love the brand new recyner chair Wil watch more movies from this theater
The food is a total ripoff. They didn't even fill my bag completely (about an inch of space) Go to Capitol 6 across the street or landmark cinemas (they have freeeeeeeee refils!) where they actually care for you and don't skimp on the food (which is burnt). You couldn't pay me to go here.
Great movie experience. Blockbuster movie for less than $7 each. Bargain
Truly amazing theater. Very comfortable seats that I practically melted into and a decently sized screen. The only downside is that the food is far too expensive. Other than that its a amazing experience.
Amazing movie theatre located in a prime area of downtown. Theatres are clean and the tickets are standard price. Always a fun experience going
I saw a 3D movie there as I like to keep my business local. Nice theatre with friendly staff plus has comfy new lazyboy like recliners installed. Only downside of location is washrooms are located way off in basement of building so plan accordingly. ????
Definitely prefer going here over SilverCity. More of a old school, relaxed movie going experience. And now with fancy chairs.
Food is waaay to expensive. Went over board with the super seats.
The refurbished theatre is great. Seats are super comfortable and roomy.
Popcorn is way to salty , but the lounging seats were incredible
The theatres have great cushy seats that recline. Staff are friendly.
Love the comfy chairs. Great movie experience.
Good movies, relaxing recliners to enjoy yo popcorn/beverage etc.
New reclining seats with reserved seating enhance the movie experience. Online ticket purchases minimize line waiting time.
I saw a performance of Adriana Lecouvreur from The Met transmitted live to here, and though the performance was wonderful, the theatres presentation, particularly their control of the lights, left something to be desired. I did find the seats lovely, they were very comfortable, which was perfect for such a long performance.
Fabulous comfy chairs, enjoysble movie????????????????????
Great reclining seats but the movie theaters are shaped more for play theater, not movies
Odeon has great reclining seats but their selection of snacks is very limited and not the best popcorn. They could also put more effort cleaning the seats. Other than that great theater ????
Recently my girlfriend and myself had visited Cineplex Odeon Victoria to see Zonbieland 2. We were unfortunate enough to be seated near four men who were loudly swearing at the movie, loudly talking amongst themselves and using their cell phones. I complained to the usher who took our tickets. Nothing was done. After 15 minutes I complained to the staff at the concession. Still nothing was done at all. After one of the worst movie going experiences in a long time I decided to complain to a manager named James the next day. James was unapologetic and said the situation was monitored for 2 monitored and then left alone. Although the theatre and seating were adequate, I will not return to this theater due to it's extremely poor customer service.
Really enjoyed the recliner seating!!
Had a fun experience here. Haven’t been to a theatre in ages and was surprised that they still have cheap Tuesday ticket prices. Not to mention the big comfy recliners everyone gets to themselves. Leaving plenty of leg room and clear views of the big screen. Will be back again soon!
Worst experience ever. We had 2 tickets to movie preview. They wouldn't let us in because of full capacity. When we asked about using our tickets for different date were told "no".
Wouldn't recommend attending this theater if you're looking for a positive movie experience. Attending this theater the other night left me feeling gross and exploited. Concession was unprepared, theaters dirty and endless brainwashing adds before the movie. Please don't go here if you want to feel the magic of a movie theater.
Nice staff, great seats
Despite a favourable 5 star review I gave months previous, this time I am being less kind. It is all because my 'gift card' was 25 cents short of of the $12.75 the Odeon now wanted and the "Greeter" insisted that I stand in another line and pay it in cash to the concession person. I made it known that I was not happy but did what I was asked. The greeter didn't stop there however..... When after waiting in line I finally was able to hand over 2bits to concession the "Greeter" returned, this time to pound his fist on the counter in front of met and yell because I maintained I was still not happy. Stoically I said nothing while he told me how much popcorn he gives away free... I have no idea how that is related but ... I will not be going back. I would not recommend anyone give a gift certificate from the Odeon. Strangely, I normally don't carry cash but I found the 25 cents that was so important to this man. They were not going to refund me the $12.50 I had already paid.
Clean and great service!
The reclining, reservable seats make this the best theatre in town. The seats are so comfortable and the theatres are rarely sold out so it makes your viewing experience that much more enjoyable. One con is that they don’t get every new release so if there’s a movie you really want to see, you may have to settle for another theatre.
Very funny movie's story..the kids enjoy..,,all family.love..
The new recliner seats are very comfortable. Sometimes the service is great, but sometimes not so much (there's one guy who tries to work two concession registers at once, and as a result is very brusque and inattentive to everyone). At times, they don't play the popular new releases, perhaps to not compete with the other theatre across the street - as a Scene member, I'd rather be able to watch all movies at Cineplex.
We waited a half hour in line just to find out our movie was sold out. Some notice of that would have been nice. We got tickets for the next day though.
Staff is nice, but having washroom is basement is a pain. Also #5 screen is small in reference to room size.
Best seats I have ever had in a theatre!
Love the seating in the recliners. Took my mom and she loved the comfort.
No time to die was amazing on the big screen.
The recliner-type seats are so comfortable! But the price of snacks is outrageous - $13 for a large pop and small popcorn. And the popcorn was so salty it was inedible.
great afternoon spent at Metropolitan opera
Great theatre. Has reclining seats.
All reserved seating which is nice. Decent recliners. Good place to see a movie.
2nd best seats in town (capitol 6 wins by a hair). Great location as well downtown. As long as you don't need the IMax experience its all you need. ***Dropping this to 2 stars after catching the late showing"The Lighthouse" two weekends ago. The projector cut out twice during the showing and no staff member could be found to even offer a popcorn voucher as compensation
Best seat I have ever sat in to watch a movie
Reclining seats, friendly staff, only negative is popcorn isn't that good.
Love love love the recliners and picking our seats ahead of time. Has totally ruined regular movie theatres for me. Lost a star because the service at the food counter was incredibly SLOW.
great place to watch movies. However, the snacks are little expensive.
Amazing the chairs are awesome employees are great
Great place to go reclining seats
We saw Bombshell at this theatre yesterday. We don't go to the theatre that often anymore, but do like theaters that offer recliner seating, so five stars for comfort. HOWEVER, we had to sit through 25 minutes of commercial after commercial before the movie started. Yes that did include a couple of trailers for other shows - which is acceptable and expected. Only one word for the rest - outrageous!!! The last show we saw (a couple of weeks ago) was at another theatre (also comfy seats) and we were not subjected to that level of commercials, so it would appear this may be unique to the Odeon. As a result, we will definitely NOT go back. If this starts to be a trend in other theaters, we will stop going to theaters all together, and watch commercial free movies from our own recliners at home via Amazon Prime and others like it.
After sitting in the reclining seats st the Odeon you will never want to watch a movie anywhere else again. Best viewing experience. Also it's nice that they have a lot of movies in standard format and not 3D. I find that 3D often detracts more from the movie going experience than it adds and then on top of that you have to pay extra for it. So having the option to not see things in 3D is nice. Also after returning from the bathroom don't take the stairway to the right. It just kind of goes off.
Despite its age and location this is a good little theatre. They updated to all recliner seating which is great. Friendly staff as well.
The new recliner seats are really comfy. Usually pretty clean and it is no more over priced than any other theatre.
This theatre offers comfy seats. The screens aren't the biggest or the nicest, but they aren't the worst either. There is the usual blood-letting for popcorn, and first-born sacrifice for anything else.
One of the outside ticket machines was broken last night. The other machine gave me a receipt but not a ticket. It took 15 minutes to get someone to sort it out; when I asked the ticket taker, it turned out there were several people with the same problem. After 5 minutes of waiting, he directed me to the office. Another 10 minutes of waiting, the manager opened the machine and came back with a handful of tickets that had been stuck.
Surprisingly DIM images - just watched "No Time to Die" - and the images were very dim and made it hard to make out what was going on in the darker scenes. Other theatres like Silver City have nice bright images. So we have nice staff, nice seats, but the actual movie watching is pretty darn poor.
Awesome theatre. Had an old school feel to it (in a very good way). Has these Laz-e-Boy style recliner seats that are incredibly comfortable. No exaggeration, watching a movie there was probably the best movie watching experience I've had.
One of the classic theaters in Virginia toros with the comfort and slight new touch
These seats though???? most comfy movie theater experience ever!
Great experience. The man in charge of the place came to me and my friends extremely friendly and politely, to ask us if we were good, ready for the movie, if any questions. It looks like there is a good environment among employees and bosses and, that promotes Real good customer service. Well done guys!
The seats were comfortable and the lobby roomy.
Went there, great theatre. All you can ask in such packed downtown area
Most comfortable movie theater over ever been to for the same price as a regular cineplex!
Awesome theatre. All the seats are recliner and you reserve them before you go.
Nothing quite like watching a movie in a relaxing big recliner.
Got to love the reclining seats Good popcorn with real butter.
New recliner seats are fantastic. Picture and sound was about perfect in theatre # 7. Only downside is parking can be a little tricky and quite a few stairs if in the upper theatre. Otherwise, a great experience.
5 star ...thats it ...visit n experience the same
Massive screen and high quality image - it really immerses you in the movie. We saw the Rocky Mountains Express documentary. Very interesting.
Great that there's an elevator for upper floor!!! Good shows and comfy seating!
We've been waiting so long to come back after lockdown I had forgotten how nice it was to hear the big sound system and watch a good movie on a screen 20 times larger than my 48 inch TV. Of course it's always best if you order that addicting popcorn with butter and a pack of twizzlers. Not exactly health food but everything in moderation. right? Oh and the seats...way too comfortable!
I had reclining seats. We don't have that in Winnipeg. So it was An awesome treat
Love the new recliners available. Great theatre with a historical feel.
Before it's interior was very old but they've recently refurbished the cinema with reclining seats so it's super comfortable but has still retained the charm of the original cinema
great theatre. nice seating facility.
Small screens, comfortable seats, absolutely disgusting washrooms.
The reclining seats are the best that happened in this city! I can't watch movies any other way.
Comfiest movie experience! The recliners make you feel like you are watching a movie at home. Theatre staff is friendly and facilities are very clean.
Small theatre. Not much food selection. Bathrooms in the basement. Doesn't have Time Play. However, they have REALLY comfortable reclining seats!
Really like the reclining seats. So comfy!
Comfy but loud. Too many commercials. Heard you have bedbugs. Is this true?
A nicely updated theatre experience that at least makes it more physically comfortable to leave my couch to go see a movie. Some sound insulation issues detract from the movie experience, as you can sometimes hear what's playing in the adjoining theatre. No surprise, concession is expensive. Can reserve seats in advance, which is nice for managing expectations.
Friendly staff and the theaters are usually kept very clean. The new updated seating makes the ticket price much more reasonable.
My son does all this he does it on his iPhone guess the seats you're assigned your seats they're great big comfy loungers the movie was great I can't say anything negative about my experience the last two times I have been there have been excellent
Why do you only have one bathroom, located as far as possible from the theatres. Not angry, just saying, would one more piss station be so much to ask for? I feel like I'm in a another building.
Was gonna give it a 3 star because seatings are very flat but you can prop up your leg!
3 out of 4 times the seats have been awesome. However, one time there was half a row that had broken-ish seats (either recliner button was glitchy or the armrest was loose. I also wish the security was better. I am tempted to just go watch free movies there in the future since the security is way too lax!
I bought a ticket online for a good seat, yet when I arrived at the theatre someone was already sitting in my seat. No one agreed to actually give me back my seat even with the help of an employee. I had to settle for a worse seat on the side, and missed 15 minutes of the movie. The whole thing really ruined my night for the movie that I've waiting for the longest time. Will probably never go back to the theatre. SilverCity or Capitol 6 are much better.
The screens are small but i love walking downtown and seeing a movie here
Best theatre! Great staff, great movie selection.
On the plus side the theaters are in a good location and the seats are good. On the minus side, 14 minutes of commercials after the movie was to start. May not seem bad but this is over 25 commercials and this is followed by future trailers.
The theater is fine, but their phone line makes it difficult (likely impossible) to connect with a real person. I've nothing against automating the usual questions, but I have an unusual one. And now I've got to drive down there just to ask...
Very awesome theater. Best seats in victoria. Very comfy. Excellent popcorn!!
Good services, need IMAX though. They gave me two free tickets because they made one mistake when playing the film.
Theatre is fine. I go there often. Nice, plush power reclining seats. The 3-D was "meh". The movie sucked.
Most consistent theater in Victoria. It seems the location draws a really respectful audience. I like that this theater screens a mix of blockbusters and artistic films. The reclined seats in certain theaters are a nice touch and the staff is pleasant and even helped me out once when another audience member accidentally spilled my food and drink. I'd recommend going out of your way for this theater for most everything that isn't playing in the main theater because I find the layout is a bit awkward. I've only had an issue here once and it was just when the sound was too low on a movie but it was still watchable and I probably could have said something to a staff member if I was distracted by it.
Can't beat those comfy seats.owner and staff always friendly Love that we can support downtown Victoria.
Comfortable seats, prebooking is easy, only thing missing is alcohol.
Staff are always friendly popcorn is always fresh and the seats are super comfy. The only thing I hate is the bathrooms are in the basement which is just annoying but not a big deal.
SO comfortable, I normally avoid seeing movies in theatres because I'm never comfortable but the seats here are awesome. They're the size of a lazy not recliner. Your footrest can come all the way to parallel while the back leans back to a nicely reclined angle such that you can still see the screen. They also give you a nice buffer zone with the person beside you with a nice big arm rest. I am DEFINITELY going back!
This theatre is alright. It's best feature is the comfortable recliner seats. Downsides: 1) smaller, older screens. 2) stairs everywhere. There are 3 floors of theatres, and the washrooms are in the basement. Not handicap friendly. 3) unbelievable concession prices. $25 for a regular bag of popcorn, fountain drink, and candy bar. I was leaning towards 2 Stars, but the staff were nice & the comfy seats are a big part of your experience at a cinema.
Amazing reclining seats. Super comfortable. The screens are curved, which isn't ideal if you're off centre. Popcorn etc. is the usual level of expensive...
Great staff. Helped to provide me with Described Video. Comfortable chairs
Comfy recliner seats! Not too many people in the theatre too.
Staff is always friendly, and the recliner seats are terrific. Bus routes nearby as well as a parkade close by if you're driving.
Just watched Endgame in theater 5, the screen was small and it had the worst acoustics of any theater I've ever been in. Be careful what theater you're in if you're gonna watch something here.
Best screen of the commercial cinemas in town with the Imax theatre. Definitely the best place to see the new movies that need that size screen (Star Wars!). Food selection only good since they lost the pizza, and could use more seating areas in the lobby to eat. Parking certainly easy as it's in the Tillicum lot. Our standard movie place most weekends.
Has the best relincing seats in a theater loved the show and was amazingly comfortable
I could hear the Starwars playing upstairs better then 1917 which I was trying to watch
I forgot why I had been avoiding this cinema. Small screens in a number of their theatres really make it feel like you are watching on a small TV (or phone) back home. The theatre we were in last night had railings blocking the view from seats, and the screen is noticeably sagging and wrinkly in the corners. Post-apocalypse this would have been expected, but the pandemic wasn't that bad.
Great cozy theatres with wonderful reclining seats. Saw 11/9 Michael Moore Excellent too!
This is my sister and my favourite theatre to go to. They have the recliner seats which make watching a movie so much better!
Love this theatre! Most comfortable seats, and nice and close to restaurants DT for dinner after.
Awesome reclining chairs, super chill vibe in the smallish theater with smallish screen like you're watching a movie in a friend's living room. Love prebooking seats online so you don't have to head to the theater super early for a newer movie.
Nice place, watched 'Yesterday' movie.
Love the reclining seats and that you can purchase your spot in advance
There reclining chairs are awsome. Will go there again and again.
Clean and amazing seats, you just need to buy your tickets online to be sure to not go there for nothing.
Great actors good story line timely don't miss it
Great comfy leather recliners. Clean theater and washrooms.
I really enjoy this theatre. Bench recliner seats, always clean and doesn't smell, good use of an old build location.
The seats are very comfortable, but getting to the bathrooms in the basement is unpleasant and time consuming.
Good screen, fantastic seats. Love it
Clean, not very busy
Good reclining seats there.....very comfortable seats and roomy
Still enjoyed the good comfort of the inclining sofa; however very disappointed about the no--enforced-distance policy. Consequently, we had to change our seats twice in order to stay safe
Love the reclining seats. So much extra room, great for kids!
Visiting from Seattle, my family and I went to see a Saturday afternoon matinee. After about 10 minutes into the movie, my wife and I realized that movie was not appropriate for our children (we should have researched it better). As we exited the theater, a kind gentleman (the manager?) inquired what was wrong and we told him that we made the mistake of taking our kids to the show that we didn't feel it was appropriate. He was very helpful and let us know that it was no problem and that we could get a refund if we would like (or see another current show). Great service and attitude!
I lost my phone here and there were very helpful and security conscious... made me unlock it before they would let me take it back:) Also their comfy recliners are awesome.
I had just about stopped going in favour of the Cineplex at the Tillicum Mall, where there is lots more parking, screens are bigger, seating is more ample, and there are more choices of movies to see and food to eat. But those recliner seats are hard to beat. The Odeon features “event” programming like Metropolitan Opera and National Theatre broadcasts, just like Tillicum, but on top of that the Odeon tends to offer more indie movies you won’t find elsewhere.

Service could be better, but to be expected when the entire place is operated by teenagers.
Could hear other movies an people outside the theater due to the door not being closed by the ushers
Movie was good not a place for disability to walk
I bought tickets online didn’t say anything about tickets being final sale. Received the etickets and at the very bottom of the eticket it say online tickets are non-refundable. I am not feeling well and don’t want to get anyone else sick. You think Cineplex could do better during Covid-19, won’t buying any online from Cineplex again.
Good cinema. The recliner seats are comfy. The place is always clean.
35.00 dollars wasted tonight .... Very disappointed tonight when watching a great movie "Murder on the Orient Express" in theatre # 2 Throughout the whole movie we could hear loud sounds coming from the movie above. Very interruptive and nearly walked out as it was difficult to enjoy as it should have been. The Odeon is the theatre of choice for us however the comfort of the recliners does not compensate for the very interrupted-sounds from the other theatre. I think it's time to consider going across the street to the other theatre instead. Time for a chance in light of tonight's experience
The new chairs are fabulous. Press the button on the right inside of the chair and you can recline while watching your movie. Probably not the best if you easily fall asleep while watching movies but at least you will be comfy while you sleep.
Great place to check out a movie. Good experience. Seen many movies there.
Our favourite movie theater with reclining seats. Free parking nearby after 6 in the View St parkade. Lots of food options nearby. Snacks are way too expensive, though.
Usually always have the films I wanted to see. Popcorn and soda is prohibitive, though the theater has to keep the doors open somehow. I like the recliner seats, really changes the game!
Comfy seats but the 30 minutes of commercials before the previews started was BS. Will be going to Capitol 6 next time
Comfortable seats, friendly staffs pretty much everything is perfect about this place. With only one downside, that is they don’t have the newest movies. It takes the theater about 4 days to catch up. So if you are looking for a brand new movie, the chances of you finding it there isn’t that high.
Love, love, love the reclining seats. Very clean. Always an enjoyable theatre experience.
Great theater...old school...famtastic...but yet they had electric recliners...great
Great job to make the theatre safe for all movie goers.
Enjoyed the seating comfy and went on a Tuesday, more affordable
It is one of the oldest properties in the town. Now, it is nicely renovated with sofa-recliner seats. However, the screen viewing experience and screen size is not good. There is one really big auditorium, but I wish the sound was the latest Dolby Atmos or at least Dolby 7.1. The seats also don't fully recline. The sound, although it says Dolby, it's not equiped with the latest sound system and the sound experience here is below par. But what to do, it is right in the middle of town, convenient location. Discounted tickets for $8 on Tuesdays is a great deal.
Love this theatre, reclining seats with parking just across the street and their prices are much more reasonable than other theatres that charge an arm and a leg for cramped seats that seem like you’re in an airplane.
Odeon was clean and staff are nice. Be careful if u book sets they will fill the seat next to u with somebody not in your party, which is not good with covid. Capitol 6 automatically treat these seats as occupied which is much better. Lots of people didn't get to sit in the seats they had booked as a result. The toilets are in the basement which is a long way down and a bit creepy.
We tried to attend a movie to see Game Night. After buying our snacks and getting to our seat, it became clear quickly that there was a problem. For whatever reason, the movie would not play. The manager on duty, an older gentlemen, seemed overwhelmed, unqualified and unable to solve the issue or take care of customers. For nearly 45 minutes he came in and out of the theatre, swearing at times and not telling us what was going on. He eventually told us we could just go see other movies, which had already started! They he offered a refund and a pass, which we got, but not without additional headache. No refund for our snacks and ultimately we didn't get to see our movie. The recliner seats were awesome -- just wish we could've watched a movie in them!
Watch "Holmies." Will go back. Staff served my order quickly.
Good location around nice restaurant for a movie night out. Great seatings.
It was my first time since they installed the reclining seats... i have restless legs and being confortable made it possible to really enjoy the movie
Beautiful Luxury Leather Lounge Chairs in Cinima 5. Terminator - Dark Fate was great, very nice relaxing fun at the movies!
Awesome new seats! Super comfy leather chairs, which have electronic reclining ability. Loss of a star is for the dated lobby which could use a facelift as well. Otherwise best movie theatre downtown.
Has a very small town cinema look and vibes to it which I really liked, since I'm from Calgary and hadn't been to a cinema like that before. Their recliner seats are comfortable and the screens are old school (screen curtains fully open when the movie starts). It's not super crowded. Washrooms are in the basement and are well maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
All the theatres at the Odeon just got new recliner seats and they are amazing! We usually prefer this small movie theatre over the big Silver City one because it's conveniently located, a bit cheaper, and not as busy
Its one of our favourite theaters, seat selection and reclining chairs is awesome.
If you like paying $7 for popcorn and sitting through tons of commercials before watching blockbuster Hollywood sewage, then you've found paradise.
I like the building because it is so blue and has nice stairs. Hari at the concession stand is really patient and helpful. More arcade games but overall this is a really nice establishment! Yes
My favorite theater ever. Old school but reclining seats. Good memories from being a kid .love this place to see movies
Awesome. The most comfortable recliners you will ever watch a movie in...
Great theatre and seats!! Always good selection of movies!
We love the reclining seat upgrade - the legroom is amazing! (If only airplanes could figure this out). There is something understated about this theatre, something that has been lost by the newer, bigger theatres. I love that the odeon is local, I love the small scale, the old school service. We always choose the odeon if possible!
Comfortable, great little movie theatre. Doing our bit in trying to keep them open! This is a modern theatre with 3D, IMAX and comfortable seating. On the outside …
Comfortable seats. Good sound.
Clean theatre. Helpful staff
Great comfortable seating.
Like the chairs the movie was good and staff
Reclining chairs make the theatre experience more enhanced and comfortable. A great spot with great customer service in my experience; highly recommended. Tuesday nights are cheap nights!
Reclining chairs in theatre 5 were great. Washrooms in the basement ... not so convenient.
Just a wonderful place
One of the oddest Cineplex I've ever been to. I recommend for this theatre, sitting closer to the front rather than the back for a good viewing in the recliner seats. Be aware of the bathrooms because they are in the basement and you may have to take a few flights of stairs if you have to go during the movie
Seats were great, venue was interesting. Movie was amazing. Overall 4 stars sums it well.
Convenient location. Good prices (slightly cheaper than Silver City). Only one theatre has stadium seating, so your view may be obstructed.
We were kept waiting for 25 mn for the feature film, all the while watching twice the same set of advertisements. Once s OK, twice is too much.
Went to see STRONG. The Boston Marathon bombing was a very bad event. The movie showed some of the people who were most affected by it.
