Lost over $30 when redeeming gift card. Tried to redeem an old gift card that had $75 on it, yet was only given 300 credits (This was after they tried throwing the gift cards out because "it has nothing on it" and me telling them to double check). For reference, $45 gives you 340 credits. The difference was apparently because the card was bought somewhere else so it had a different exchange rate? There were also several people with their masks off while playing games and I didn't see any games get cleaned during my time there. The games that worked were very fun though.

Horrible experience. It’s new and love the fact that they have bowling and VR. That being said, the game machines keep breaking down and they don’t have a way to give you a credit back. My daughter tapped to play a game 3 times when it didn’t work but they said they couldn’t return the credits back and I should call them to do an override at a different game to accommodate the credits lost. VR is the worst experience. They should really shut down the whole VR thing as it constantly breaks and a waste of time as a result. It’s good when it works but that’s not always the case. They moved us from one pod (atom) to another 3 times and still couldn’t get it to work. I then asked to move us to arcade for which I which ready to pay extra but the people there couldn’t accommodate even after wasting 30+ mins of ours trying to get the atom to work. Lastly got the manager to get us in the arcade and half of their equipment doesn’t work or is buggy. We wasted another 30 mins where they tried to get us working equipment. HORRIBLE

October 2021. 4.5★ Honestly, not sure why there are reviews below 4★. Relax and enjoy the games, your here to have fun! This place is fairly large. It hosts at least 30+ or so interactive ticket/points games, includes 6 bowling lanes, a large VR system of up to 6 players moving freely or the atom VR which up to 2 players are semi stationary. There's also a vertical trail climbing structure with a zip line. A small food stand and some tables for eating. The washrooms are clean. The place overall was clean. The staff were all good and professional. Only thing that could be improved is the merchandise selection. Just a bit lacking. Cost to enjoyment is good too. Worth spending that extra money to get the best value at $45 for 340 credits. Save up any remaining for next time. Would recommend. There's a few locations, so great to check out others too as the play card/tag is all connected. Definitely would come again.

The have newly introduced mendatory bracelets prices $2 or $4 on top of the credit fees. The brampton location has no good interactive games and most of the time when you scan the bracelets it takes few attempts which is annoying. The new addition is rope climbing and bowling but again not worth $

Had a birthday party for my daughter...my party ‘person’ was ‘ok’ at most. He was polite, but didn’t even know who the birthday girl was he started singing happy birthday. He offered to serve the food as if he was doing me a favour, and the food was not good with very, very small portions. Overall, not great service or quality for the price of the top birthday package with an automatic 15% gratuity.

Very nice place to take kids, pladium has all sort of different arcade games, kids just love that they have lots of choices and after they earn enough point/tickets, they can choose what they want from the merchandise shop for the points collected.

Make sure you keep your receipt with you cause customer service will not be able to pull up your record. The 2 hour time card does not allow vs games and when purchasing they make you think your able to freely play games as you life.

There are protocols In place for health and safety, but they leave it up to the customer to take care of the cleaning of the machines. They have wipes and sanitizer all over the place but nobody there was wiping thier machine down before and after machine use as directed by the printouts on the wall. Also, this playdium is much smaller than the one that used to be in Mississauga and is missing a few key components like the Go-Karts, Lazer tag, mini golf and batting cages. There aren't quite as many games as the original Playdium. For what I was expecting, given where the bar was with the original playdium, I was quite disappointed.

Staff is very dumb and asking for a photo ID when I show photo ID I have to show two pieces of ID . Siri the games that you have here are garbage you should never change from Playdium Mississauga Match figure a lot more fun a lot more friendly staff I would not put my money out there again to come to a place like this it’s a slap across the face.

Worst arcade ive ever been too. For such a huge building, there are very few arcade games, and among them very few of them even work properly! There are many broken games. The staff there are VERY uninterested in there jobs and provide bad service. The washroom are unkept and dirty and the soap dispensers are all always empty. The toy counter is half empty, there are barely any toys to win. The resturant took 10 minutes to make my icecream and i was the first in line! This is the worst branch of playdium ive ever been too, its almost comical how bad it was. The worst part is that this place is brand new! There is nothing good about this place, dont waste your money and time.

She treated us like we were not welcome to the place, kids were really excited but the machines didnt work well. The tv monitors were having errors at the restaurant. Took my kids to enjoy their family day promotion. $35+ 20 credits and a soft serve ice cream. After I paid for three of these, I was told that the soft serve machine is not in order so my kids will not get their soft serve. I asked if it could be credited in anyway and I was frankly told NO! Spoke to a few individuals at guest services and they all said they can’t do anything!! Yet the promotion continued to be advertised at the location and online. Terrible customer service!!!

First we attended here just to check it out and really did not like anything about it. Then... Since the mississauga location was closed i decided to host my daughter's birthday here which was another bad idea. Terrible service, careless staff and just all round chaotic. I shouldve learned my lesson the first visit but i thought id give them another shot but now i know i rather spend my money elsewhere and be happy with the service i receive.

I there would be negative stars, i would have given them -5. No management, the staff is just rookie, no professionalism. I went there with my friends for bowling and they said that you have to book a lane and wait for 30 mints, which is okay but they can't reserve the lane for me. They told me to wait at the counter otherwise anyone can occupy the next available lane, which is just doesn't make any sense. The staff can't even communicate properly or assist you with anything. Just a rubbish place.

I came for a birthday party. We arrived 15 mins before our requested time. They had us waiting 30 mins before allowing us in the room. The room was booked for an hour & we wait from 2:14-5pm until the manager approached. They didn’t hand us our passes till 5:24pm. There was no cake present & after sitting and speaking with the head manager he didn’t do a thing for us. WORST location if you plan on throwing a kids birthday party !

Nice look. The ropes course I thought was reasonably priced. There is more of a game selection at the Mississauga location but this place does have a bowling alley and VR which is a step up. Can be very busy and sometimes the games glitched but overall a fun night.

Surprisingly you get a lot of time out of your money here. A $20 credit lasted my kids over an hour which is better then we would get at some placed. Kids love the games, parents enjoy the food area, it's a win win. I really enjoy going there with my kids.

At first I was like yes, they opened up a new playdium and I couldn't wait to see what the inside was like. After visiting (01/04/2020), I felt disappointed. To me, it felt like they didn't utilize the space properly. They could've added way more arcade games. If they took out the sitting area and the VR area it could've been used to add stimulation rides like the one out in Mississauga. There's a big dining area where you can sit and eat. Why would you need to add as mentioned a sitting area? I like that they have bowling and a ropes course for the kids (including ziplining). They have it set up like The Rec Room. Old playdium cards from Mississauga cannot be used at the new facility. And lastly, the selection of items when you are redeeming your points is not that great. There is not much to choose from. I don't think my family and I will be going back.

The experience was alright. They have lots of ticket games and a few video games. The VRcade, ropes course and bowling looks great. Tried the sit down restaurant and ordered the nachos and a burger with fries. Nachos were seasoned nicely but were cold and the cheese was unmelted, fresh guacamole was good. The food was priced slightly higher for the value but it was an alright experience.

Me and my cousins had a great time here. I can personally recommend the vr arcade. It's a bit buggy, but if it works it's 10/10. The ropes course was also amazing. Playing the multiplayer games with my friends had to be my favourite part. (They could use some more 3 or 4 player games as I was usually the 3rd wheel in 2 player ones)

First time we went since they opened. It is very organized with QR code for contact tracing at the entrance. They have kiosks to load your cards at the front or the option to buy it at the giftshop. It is very clean and spacious, enough room to be safely distanced. They also have a VR arcade but we didn't go into those. There is also a suspension rope course and the male employee that was working today was extremely helpful. He encouraged my son to go through and make it to the zipline. Without him he wouldn't of did it.

This Playdium location used to be a Cineplex cinema, but was recently renovated into a new entertainment centre. Basically, it is a giant arcade with some other attractions. There's a mix of ticket earning arcade games and standard aracde games. There's also a couple pinball machines too. The machines were well kept and I don't recall seeing any out of order signs. As with all arcades, the prizes require an insane amount of tickets, but that is expected. I'm addition to arcade games, there's also bowling, Virtual Reality and a ceiling obstacle course. Paying for games is pretty convenient, with money being loaded onto wristbands. This is used for both arcade games and other attractions such as bowling. Wristbands can be loaded with different amounts of money or a 2 hour unlimited pass. However, the 2 hour unlimited pass will not allow you to collect prize tickets. There's also a restaurant inside with the standard snacks, like pizza and burgers. Overall, a good experience if you like gaming. But, prices could have been a bit better.

What a great addition to Brampton, before we had to go all the way to (missi). Place is clean, spacious, tons of games for kids, bowling lane, and a climbing + zipline activity aswell. Kid loved it.

It's ok, you can tell they've made the ticketed machines even harder to win on. In addition not many prizes to choose from. They've also pulled games that were the easiest to get tickets. Covid has been tough for all businesses, but it was sad to see. The best deal they have is the 2 hour unlimited play for regular arcade games. I'd stay away from the ticketed ones. Far to difficult at this point in time.

This location is more crammed than the mississauga location and there's not much for grown ups to do. Its completely geared towards kids. Extremely fun for the kids and the tickets the give to wrap around the kids hands is ingenious. The VR arcade is nice, something to try once, but eventually gets very boring. The best part is the pricing, the kids will have a ball while you won't go broke. A must try for anyone who has kids looking to give them a good time. Also great to go in groups so that the fun is multiplied. Enjoy.

Not sure what I'd do with my kids in the winter without this place ! Bloody expensive, that's my only criticism. You can burn through the best value package ($47ish) in anywhere from 1-2 hours with one child that's old enough to know how. If you manage their spending you might get a little more mileage. The prizes are good and well varied though, and it makes it an exciting and fun experience ! My daughter saved up to win a Charmander and it will be a cherished memory!

What a blast! All my kids, aged 8, 13 and 14 enjoyed themselves. If your kids are younger no worries, there are a lot of kid friendly games and of course for the adults too! My kids loved the "treetop trekking", they were nervous in the beginning but after they didn't want to come down. 98% of games working, staff constantly cleaning when not dealing with customers.Plus they were friendly and knowledgeable. Nachos were good. I will definitely go back and maybe take the kids too ????

Amazing place to visit with the kids! The VR experience was pretty cool and the family had a blast. We also paid for the ropes course but ran out of time so they credit it back to us without question. We enjoyed some quick eats from the kitchen along with popcorn on the go, while we played games and challenged each other! The free coat check at the front with a big bonus! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall, the place is pretty clean and spacious! Weekends are super busy and that’s to be expected. But if you want to have the full experience, it’s so much better when there’s lots of other people having fun too! So excited to have a place to play, closer to home!!! We will be back Playdium! WE WILL BE BACK!!! More pictures to come...

It was fun. But, I noticed the card is not very consistent. Also, when I was cashing in my ticket to get prizes I noticed a bunch of kids with a lot of low tickets and there wasn't much options for prizes for them, everything was to expensive for them. I recommend having prizes with low tickets, these can be rings or keychains or something.

Was just there with my kids and I was not impressed. Bathrooms smelled awful and where filthy. Considering all that's happening you would think they would be be ontop of Cleanliness.the tables in the eating area where also filthy and in the hours i was there I did not see a single worker sanitizing anything. I know its impossible to clean every game while people are using them but the ones not currently in use I think should be wiped down and table eating area definitely should bce clean.

where to begin the ppl behind the counter serving food a were no wearing hairbnets and beard net plus they where so unorganized that when we finally got our food it was cold as ice...plus food taste awful... for the space they had it was crowed and half the gaming machines was broken or getting stuck and when u went to notify someone they wanted you to wait 1/2 hour just to give you your credits back.. game tokens where more pricey then the one in sauaga....overall this place was a horrific experience and the gift shop sucked... thank god for the Mississauga one.

Overall a pretty fun night. I got the two hour time play deal. I wasn't really interested in getting any prizes at the end. I think about 10% of the games weren't working, which is fine but I found that I finished playing everything after an hour or so. Wonderful and very friendly staff; these guys are so full of energy and kindness, would be a shame to not mention how awesome they are. Playdium is a great place to bring your kids as a treat if they've gotten good grades on their report cards. Just a word of advice to concerned parents: there are shooter games with mock gun controllers - and some, like the Halo and Jurrasic Park have blood; I would advise parents not let their kids play these games. There are lots of other more family-friendly options on the premises.

The games are quite modern and the staff do a great job to keep the area clean. The Virtual Reality area is a hit and miss. Some of the VR sets are faulty and a booth was totally closed off. The eatery/restaurant (called Bites) didn't have essential food items like coffee, ice cream, etc... Some of the staff at the restaurant didn't communicate very well with the costumers and kept the communication to a bare minimum. Sometimes it felt like one is bothering them by simply ordering.

Arcades are over priced and this place is no exception. Very disappointed in the policies on where to buy tickets for the 'rides'. They have two box offices but force you to buy the zip line tickets at the front. The line ups are crazy long as they do not put enough people on the front cash. They need to put emphasis on the ability to buy cards from the self serve kiosk to reduce traffic. They also have narrow halls, constantly bumping into other people. Consider moving/shuffling standing games away from the front hall. Food was great tho, kitchen staff was friendly and quick.

Nice new centre for gaming, bowling and lots of fun activities. We were planning to visit since long and finally went on last weekend. It was lot of fun and exciting games. However, we didn't able to bowl as there were lot of games to enjoy. We will plan to visit again shortly

A good entertainment and party place for kids and young with lots of games and space for parties. I like that kids are given bands with credits to play games and these points are added to their bands. So not like the coins or tokens used in Niagara game arenas. The best part is Jungle Gym which has easy to tough and challenging courses for kids. You need to buy separate. Bowling alley is small but good enough considering kids party place. The Virtual Reality arena is good. Staff is good and give full attention. What I was not impressed: Lots of credits are used in simple games so pricey. Food was average. Nachos platter looked good but in taste just average.

Bad customer service. I had a card which was loaded but was from mississauga playdium. The service rep was not polite while talking to me and letting me know that the card wont work at this location. I dont know why it wont isnt it same company? Same country? Why couldn't she transfer my credits to their card? Anyway not going back to this location unless they hire polite customer care reps.

I visited this location with a couple of friends and had a decent experience. The place felt much smaller from the inside and few of the games didn't work or were glitchy. I feel like the VR Arena was the best way to spend credits and was really fun, however we didn't get to play much because it was glitching. Despite the problems we faced, the staff were helpful and polite. I would suggest you buy 2-3 of the largest credit bracelets and just share them amongst your friends instead of buying everyone their own bracelet. I wouldn't suggest to buy food from here because it's really expensive. Eat before or step out and take a lunch break. I believe you can leave and enter again at anytime. Overall I had a lot of fun!

First time here. Worst customer rep at the counter. She could hear the people in front of us when they asked something but had trouble hearing to what I was saying, everytime I asked something she got annoyed and was trying to scream, whaatt!! Maybe she didn't like my face. No worries. But she LITERALLY THREW the band and did not even give us the rcpt and was waiting for us to pick them. When we tried to tear the rcpt she grabbed it, tore it and left it at the counter for us. The bowling lane also had some issue not only for us but the people before us too experienced it. Will not be back.

This arcade is only one of two locations opened as of Jan 5 2020. Houses many arcade games from shooters, child games, pop a shot and even a VR simulation area, bowling alley and a rope course. The VR, bowling and rope course are not included when you pay to get chips, they are a seperate fee if you choose to participate. Can become quite crowded depending on the time of day. I don't recommend the bowling or VR as the price to time played is not worth. Furthermore, when my friend and I were debating to whether or not to partake in bowling, the lady at the service counter did not even bother to talk to us. We waited for over 10 mins at the front of the line till they came to speak with us

This new & improved Playdium is exactly what my family needed. We kept going to the original location at Sqr 1 & kept being let down with technical issues & pretty dirty facilities. -This new location is not only clean but they're doing a good job of keeping it clean (staff are continuously sanitizing games) -Free parking & tons of space. -A better layout that flows -Working Games -New Games (Take a look at the pics) -6 Bowling Lanes (no 5 Pin) At worse, the bowling is $7 per person ($1 cheaper than regular price per person at Planet Bowl) -VR Area which we haven't tried out yet -Tree Top Experience (with Harness attached & Workers at the main rest spots) Physical experience for those who are cool with heights. -Fast Food Resto & Gift Shop for gamers -Shoeless Joe's Is right beside it too -They're using a new credits system too (card on lanyard or Bracellet) Lastly, the staff are talkative (with customers) which makes it a very welcoming environment. Great Job!!!

Some games weren't on and 1 in every 5 games weren't functional - they'd charge credits but would not run. The food we sampled was great and staff was friendly. Dance floor lights kept the little kids busy. Being a new place we likely experienced the place going through an initial hiccup. The place has a lot of potential though. Hope they will add lots more to it!

There was no sign or notice on anything saying that they stopped selling gamer tags after midnight. What’s the deal with that though? At the Mississauga location, the games just get locked after a certain time..

Geared toward children, who will love it. Much smaller than the Playdium in Mississauga and a little crammed but good use of the space otherwise. Cool new features like the virtual reality game area, and a physical "tree top trekking" type obstacle course above the whole area. Limited choice of food options. Overall, had a really great day and spent 4 hours there for the nephew's birthday!

It is a new place with lots of fun and thrill for a good range of ages and for the rest there's option for eating while watching others having fun. The downside is not avoidable at all that being the extra costs for bowling, roping etc. Young children can not enjoy those things with height restrictions and that does make them sad. Bands are expensive for starters and reloading is not inexpensive either. If compared with similar places for youngsters then this place is good for the teenagers only.

Really fun place but not enforcing covid policies. They have signs saying to sanitize games before and after but don't have the wipes to do so. Only found 2 hand sanitizer dispensers and one was empty. Many ppl including employees were not wrong their masks properly and some groups of ppl weren't wearing them at all on the games, just walking around.

Finally some fun in Brampton! Great place to take the kids or be a kid at heart. Mid-day during the week it’s relatively quiet with plenty of room to socially distance. There are sanitizing stations and wipes everywhere and mask wearing is enforced. The only frustration was trying to get someone at the VRcade. We had to go back twice before there was someone available to help us. Overall all the experience was great and the rope course is a must if you’re up for some adventure!

From a 10 year old - not bad but not the best. From me - No arcade games just the riding ones. After a car, a motorcycle, a 4 wheeler and a boat, I’m bored. - Food service was just terrible! There were 5 people in the kitchen and no one to serve the food. Most of them looked like they weren’t doing anything. Cashier was useless. - VR was pricey at $6.50 for a 3 min game!

Very nice inside, smaller than I hoped it would be but had great arcade games, VR section, bowling and rope climbing. We only did the arcade games this time but would love to go back and do the other activities too especially bowling. Staff was friendly and there was always someone around wiping down the equipment. We kept sanitizing and washing is our hands in between playing the games though just to be on the safe side. Lots of sanitizing stations set up around the games as well. Wasn't too busy when we went so it was very nice to be able to play the games we wanted without having to wait our turns. Go as early as you can if you want to avoid a crowd. Less people.

My family and I attended a birthday party here. It was the best. I like the new and upgraded editions added to the old Cineplex theatre space. This will definitely be a bigger hit than the movie theatre. The nicest thing about this place is the rooftop climb for the kids. I will definitely be back.

Overall very clean location and pleasant staff. Many different things to do here for all ages. There is also ALOT of parking, which is awesome too. We will definetly be back again soon!

Went here to try out their vrarcade with 3 others. We played a competitive have called Barking Iron, which was freaking fun. I recommend this game package for groups who are looking to blow off some steam and want to shoot stuff, including players. The place is however smaller than the one in Square one and it doesn't have go karting either.

Drove 45 minutes for my daughters birthday and bought the unlimited two hour bands, after buying them it wouldn’t let us play ANY games. We tried talking to the cashier and he brought us to the manager he was extremely rude and didn’t do anything about it there was another family complaining about the exact same thing and the manager ignored our complaints, after that we had to fight for a while to get a refund. The Mississauga Playdium is way better.

We had booked the venue for a birthday party for our kid. I would NOT recommend it for younger children (7-10 years). This may may be a good venue for teenagers but DEFINITELY not younger kids. We had 130 points ($24+) per child. I originally chose 100 points but was worried if this would be enough. After communication with staff, I was reassured that 130 points is good and should last at least 40 minutes. My kid ran out of points in less than 10 minutes... same as 4 other children that I know of. Secondly, we had 14 kids and we only got 14 paper plates, 14 forks, and 14 classes. We had 3 choices of food and 3 drinks which was more than kids could eat. We wanted to have enough food for parents as well. I had to ask for additional glasses and was told that we only get glasses for kids... essentially I did not even have a glass for my water and I was paying the bill. We had no extra plates for cake, nor forks. Again, I had to ask and explain why I needed clean plates for cake. Then the host gave us wrong passes to play. We had to gather the kids back, collect someone else’s bracelets and get ours. Somehow, we got 12 instead of 14 bracelets still... it was a mess. And this mess only costed me $500 for 2 hours.

Attended for a party . Nice clean atmosphere . Not too busy but covid regulations are place. My only recommendations would be there are not enough garbage cans to throw out wipes after using making it not friendly to wipe games. Staff should be hired to assist with wiping and more monitoring of safety and health standards at games. The ladies washroom smelled rancid as well but over all great experience .
