Washrooms are always smelly here. I know dirty downtown bars that have nicer washrooms than this place. Hard to breathe in here. Plenty of supervisors walking around but surprisingly nobody cares to address this issue. Do your business before coming to see movies here.

Great place! Employees don't look like they wanna die 24/7 despite annoying customers and don't look at me like I'm stupid when I cant find theater 1. Only downside is the annoying guests who wont stop using phones during the movie, wish you guys would enforce the theater rules.

This is my favourite Cineplex. Always clean, and has amazing stuff. Not to mention that none of the reclining seats are broken. So I get to sit instead of having to practically lay down. A++

I could not enjoy my experience; the seats were very tight, making it difficult to walk through the aisles. The guy in front of me leaning back was hitting my knees!! I literally had to watch the movie with my feet up. The crowd was very obnoxiously. Phones kept lighting up and people constantly yelled out. Halfway through the movie one of the movie goers actually stood up and threatened to have people kicked out. I gave it 2/5 stars because the food was delicious! I definitely recommend trying the pulled pork poutine at Outtakes. Tip: The lines look super long but there’s constantly free machines (no tellers for ticket purchases).

Large facility with a unique UFO theme on the outside of the building. Tons of parking. Very spacious and well maintained. I've never had an issue when watching a movie here. UltraAVX seats are very comfy. This is also one of the few places that has IMAX 70mm capability. The only thing I miss is the digital display sign outside by the highway. It used to list movies now playing. Now they just covered up the space with ads.

Worst place to watch a movie. Bathrooms are dirty beyond belief, the theater I was in smelled like urine, so many people sneaking into the movie towards the end and going on their phones (where is the security), horrible seats that give you the ability to recline into other people's legs. Go to Imagine Cinema, don't waste your time and money here

One Star is only because I can't leave less! Rain from 3D theatre roof leaked badly on us tonight during "Black Panther"! Theatre had only cordoned off a few seats! So trashy -aisle floors dirty, slippery, wet! Garbage and debris left lying about! Handicapped beware -Very dangerous, especially in dark! We were stuck in cold, wet seats for over 2 hours! My legs and back are bad, I have a medical condition, so I was very worried about a bad fall trying to leave before lights came back on. Nobody even checked up on us despite storm. Theatre pleaded ignorance afterwards. Refused refund in full to us and other angry, upset patrons gathered at box office. How sad! Was once a nice place. Now? Serious health and safety concerns! Disgusting! Run down! Much neglect! A bare boned operation. Expensive but not very concerned about customers at all! Kind of felt sorry for staff. Young. Lacked direction, proper training, sufficient staffing and resources, with no adequate safety, customer service or refund plans in place. Eventually just walked away and tried to ignore us. Wonder if public health knows about this place? Avoid at all costs!!!

Great theatre, good seating and screens. Online booking is great and bypassing the queues until you order food. Oh my.. how inefficient, come on Cineplex. It's popcorn, pop and candy... Can't be that hard to find a way to self serve.

I'm from Quebec and I'm used to going to Cineplex Cinemas in Quebec (which are great by the way), but this one was absolutely beautiful with decorations all over the place with even well placed arcades, a fast food (with a surprisingly good price tag on the options), etc. I went to watch Warcraft in 3D and I was surprised by the seats that were really comfortable with a head rest that wasn't too low and much better arm rests. I wish we had a Cineplex like this one in Quebec.

Big auditoriums and tons of space. Always playing new and a great variety of movies, and offer a a seating area to eat food. They need to fix their self checking machines, since only a few works at a time.

Good location. Prices are too high for food as usual. Parking is crazy during evenings. Staff is polite although they move a bit too slowly to get food ready. If you like playing Timeplay get there early or don't grab food.

Honestly, depends when you go. The theater itself is fine, comfortable seats and all the usual amenities. They also have a lot of showtimes but a TON of loitering rift raft in and around the place.

One of The best movie theatre.. Would have given a higher ratings but the new implementation of reducing the staff at the ticket lines to only one and as a result have customers standing over 30 minute in a line up is rediculous and considering that theatre is sold out most times its not like the management and corporation can't afford to keep the friendly staff it should e a crime. Sure they replaced with machines that only accepts cash and credit cards for ticket purchases but a lot and in fact most of customers pay alternative ways so cineplex need to take their head out if their asses and see what's going on with the poor quality of service when it comes to ticket purchasing

BEST MOVIE THEATRE IN THE COUNTRY! You won't find a better IMAX facility anywhere. The Science Centre doesn't play real movies so don't even try. The sound, picture, parking, staff and overall experience is honestly on-point. Whoever is in charge manages the place well. Always a relating experience and atmosphere. Will visit again!

We have so many good memories of watching our favourite movies in this location for many years. Yesterday we went to see Conjuring the 7:05 pm show with our young kids and very disappointed with the broken protocol. When we booked our seats online, the system automatically blocked all the seats in front, behind and side of us. But when we arrived, 20 minutes ahead of the time, our seats were occupied. We had to explain those people that we had reservations. Once seated, there were people occupying the blocked seats around us. I was so disappointed. They were broadcasting clips to talk to an employee if we have issues with our seats . But there were no employees around. All it takes is to send someone to examine all the seats around the occupied ones, to see if the social distancing is being followed, before turning off the lights. There is no point of having rules if you don’t enforce it. We end up wearing masks throughout and had to threw away the food we have bought. P.S: I have tried to email them, but there is no contact information on the website. The only reason I have given 2 stars is to take it to the corporate attention. I will change it to 5 sta rs later on. Other than this issue this is one of the best theatres out there in terms of technology and comfort. Update: we have visited the theatre recently and noticed that the COVID-19 protocols are being followed. Do as promised I am changing into 5 star review

I sent to see James bond. 1st movie on quite some time. Entry was quick. Theatre was clean. 2 issues came up. They started the movie and after about 10 mins stopped it ran 2 previews and started the movie again?? Not sure what happened as no one said anything. Then at the end of the movie you could barely exit because of the cleaning cats and staff wanting to clean. Many people were left but that basicalky blocked the exit to get out. Nice to be back at the movies but not the best experience.

Still a very good theatre, sadly though it gets so busy during the weekend that the young staff (high school) cannot keep up. Disorganized, messy floors, takes forever to get your popcorn and drink. Seats are starting to show their age too.

Went to watch TENET, I'm huge fan of IMAX and this wasn't it for sure. Maybe because of COVID lockdown, theatre sound system was not maintained or something else but sound was terrible, there was lack of bass. (Picture quality was good though) You go to IMAX for best of everything especially Christopher Nolan's movies, you need to watch it properly. Maybe I'll try this IMAX again in future but for now NOT RECOMMENDED.

Very nice and spacious theatre with a lot of food options. Best amusement area out of all the theatres we've been to. The staff is very courteous and the place overall is pretty clean. Food prices are as expected in a movie theatre but there are many restaurants in the vicinity. As of this post, traffic in the area is very stressful at peak times due to congestion and construction but it will pass.

I regularly visit this movie theater. I really like this location, a large selection of films. The choice of food is not very impressive. Ussually when many visitors, halls are dirty, the whole floor is strewn with popcorn. Cleaning between sessions is not satisfied. While waiting for the session, you can play slot machines for children.

This cineplex cinema delivers on all fronts, as well as any cineplex can, but be sure to get there early, or have booked/reserved seats for your film if you’re going over the weekend, as it tends to be especially busy on Friday and Saturday evenings! Unfortunately this location does not have the drink machines that let you select from all different types of drink and flavours, but this is inconsequential to my own moviegoing experience, as they still carry your typical movie theatre concessions, (popcorn, hotdogs, poutine/fries, nachos, candies, drinks, etc.). All-in-all, I go here often, so that should speak to its ability to deliver!

Great IMAX experience, poor food options. Recently they have replaced cashiers with machines from the lobby but did not replace the lobby machines, lineups for mobile pickup were 30 mins long. Avoid peak times as you may miss a good chunk of your movie.

Really awesome theater that looks like you're inside a huge spaceship. Great space movie collections, awesome snack options and the prices for the tickets are fantastic. Plenty of parking so no worries on that either. Skip the lines of you're paying by card - head to the kiosks instead.

I purchased my tickets online at home and when I went to print them at theatre machine, it would not allow us to print it. We had to stand back in the line to get the tickets. I don't not understand the point of me buying tickets online if I have to go and stand in line to get my tickets. What is the point of that. Waste of my time. This is the second time it happened with us. Fix your machines Cineplex.

Watched James Bond Movie No Time to Die. Amazing experience. Bought tickets on mobile app, greeted at the front door, verified my vaccination receipts, assigned movie seating. Able to order food quickly and safety. Loved the whole experience.

The seats were nice, but we are sick of all the commercials at the beginning. And the 3D glasses hurt our ears and my wife's nose, very uncomfortable. We were very surprised that the movie costs over $20 too. All in all I think we'll think twice next we want to see a movie.

Multiple people were on their phones throughout the film and it completely ruined the film and my night. All the people that were on their phones were all sitting nearby me. Two people were recording videos on Snapchat, like anyone cares. Another man had his brightness turned all the up and was checking his messages and the time constantly throughout the film. This all occurred during a 2 hr film, so you can just imagine how annoying that was. Honestly, I would take the extra time to drive to a different theater, so you can actually have a decent time.

I watched back to back night shows & I must say, I loved it! Seats are ok, IMAX is a breeze & social distancing was being followed. There was an incident when a couple of guys randomly sat behind us breaking the social distancing amidst the movie however cineplex staff moved them which I think is so professional! Overall great experience!

This is an excellent Cineplex location. The building is shaped like a giant UFO and can easily be seen from the highway. The layout is good inside, with enough open space that it doesn't get overly difficult to navigate even when really busy. The central concession area is really well laid out so you don't have to wait in line long for popcorn and drinks. The food is staggeringly expensive, as usual. Theaters are clean and well maintained. Huge parking lot, but the road leading to it (Famous Avenue) has issues. It's only one lane each way so it gets extremely congested during busy hours, and it's connected to Highway 7 in a really unusual way that makes the congestion even worse. Plan to spend an extra 2-5 minutes when travelling to this Cineplex because of this poorly placed entrance road.

Watched Mission impossible on Sunday September 02 in AVX #11 7:10 pm. At least the D-Box rows (not sure about the other rows) where a total mess! No one had cleaned the seats and floors before the show. Remained pop corn could be seen on all over the floor. Cups and 3D glasses from the previous show time where still on the seats. Never seen such a thing in any other Cineplex before. Disappointing

Only one person working at the ticket counter, all others have been replaced by machines. Snacks are over priced and loaded with salt, drinks are 95% ice. Theatres are either way too hot or a freezer. Bad odours throughout the theatres, stay home and watch Netflix.

Staff are friendly, service is great. As always, biggest issue is the sticky floors and always crowded, but guess I can't expect more in those areas for a cinema - isn't that what we go here for? Lol.

Pretty nice in here. The atmosphere is pretty neat and the floor lay out is nice. The only problem i had was the actual theator that I was in watching the movie was sticky. Not just kind of sticky or a normal sticky for a movie theater... No it was BADLY sticky. Really badly sticky...

It's a good movie theatre, big, comfy, spacious and a lot of available times to watch movies. The only thing is, I wish there was a way to like text or notify staff to do something about people that are causing a disturbance during the movie without having to leave your seat. Also so that it can be discreet as an advantage. It ruins the experience, unfortunately. Some people have notl respect whatsoever. I had a good time the last time I was there despite some chatty people.

Very spacious common area. IMAX theatre was superb. Only negative is the spotlights at the bottom of the screen coming on as soon as the credits started rolling and interfered with the video snips at the end.

Its okay if you a going to a regular or AVX theatre but the IMAX theatre seats are way too cramped and uncomfortable. The staff is pretty slow with everything and as for the washrooms, just go to the Tim Hortons down the street.

Lots of parking space, lots of electronic machines to buy tickets but very few in-person ticket purchases. The seats lean back quite easily so they're comfy. The actual screen looks a little stained and it seems a bit old or dirty. Doesn't really effect movie but might be noticeable for some.

Place is a hit or miss. Some theaters flood when it rains heavy and you could walk into a theater that literally smells like mold. If that happens get your refund. Don't sit through a movie fighting that smell. Staff told us that they have been trying to get management to fix it but they don't listen so if management is listening...fix your flooding issue. You're a multimillion dollar establishment.

One of the best cinemas in the GTA, except sometime the volume/sound is too much for toddlers or kids. Just saying my kid didn't enjoy is first time seeing the big screen, for kids movie's the volume don't have to be that high because some kids have sensitive ears.

Cineplex is best place for movies ???? and here they have all movie release including Bollywood, Indian and various languages movies. Have a big parking space it’s family friendly atmosphere. Lots of different restaurants and food chains nearby as well right on exit of highway 400. Must go place for us.

Very good. Sometimes they should appoint more staff, specially in weekends. I had to wait in a long line for popcorn resulting first 10 minutes of the movie was missed, while more than 5 cash counter was closed.

They expect you to keep your mask on for the whole movie. And they're not allowing snacks in the theatre. Popcorn "to go" only. At this rate it's better to just enjoy the movie at home with a comfy couch, snacks, drink, and no masks.

Great theatre l. Concession stand are quick when grabbing food. They also make you get in line to use the digital pay option as well as for the actual person who sells tickets. I strongly recommend buying your tickets thru the app and the using the ticket printer to pick them up.

I've been here a handful of times. Always ALWAYS smells like urine in the theater. Even the washrooms are disgusting. I've talked to the workers there and mentioned my disgust more than once, they have done nothing regarding the matter. Nothing like sitting thru a movie smelling urine for 2 hours.

Super large theatre in Vaughan. I stayed in Vaughan overnight and just checked nearby Cinema. Cineplex is the closest. I bought 2D ticket for 13,5+tax. No row and seat specified in the tickets. People take the seats as first come first served. It's a good theatre like other Cineplex ones. Recommend

I love this movie theatre. It's different looking compared to all the rest. This place looks like a giant flying saucer and has had a bar up stairs back in the day. I wish they would open it up to the public again though.

I remember when this place was called colossus and had an alien theme to it, along with a bar on upper level. Now sadly, bar is closed and theming removed so just normal cineplex cinemas location. Don’t but the game card for arcade, spent $15 on card and 5-6 out of 10 games broken. Over all great place to see movies, and have a day/night out.

Went here specifically for their IMAX screening. However, this is a far cry from what IMAX really looks like. What we got was a poor somewhat blurry projection... I really wish they would calibrate their projection system.

If the theatre wasn't always so crowded, it is a great place to go and watch a movie. For new releases, be prepared to wait in long lines and still end up sitting down front or separated from your group.

I've been going here for over 10 years and it's been my go-to cinema ever since it opened. The decor and concept is carried out throughout the entire theatre and it's cool! Clean also with LOTS of theatres and seating.

Colossus used to be the place to go back in the day . It's absolutely horrid now. I'm an avid movie goer. I go to the movies once to twice a week I've been doing this for years I've been going to Colossus since it opened. It's been on a downward spiral when you go in the theaters the air is stale the seats themselves and the cup holders it looks like they haven't been wiped down in years the people who clean the theaters to just sweep the floor that's all the carpets are absolutely disgusting it looks like they've never been cleaned. Back in the day the staff took pride in their jobs now these kids don't care they're on their cell phones behind the counters what customers are waiting and they're all dragging their feet around like they don't want to be there. The men's washrooms are absolutely disgusting I've seen staff go in there right down that they've checked the bathroom and walk right back out and they don't check anything I've walked in on several occasions to absolutely disgusting conditions and the stalls not being usable I walked right outside to tell the girl that was standing there collecting tickets she said she was going to radio manager I said okay cool after my movie was over two hours later the washroom was still in the same condition when I asked her what's going on she laughed. If you go to Richmond Hill the theaters are pristine the floors are clean the washrooms are always clean the air isn't stale the staff is friendly helpful and it looks like they want to be there to do their job. It's unfortunate because I used to like going to classes at night now go watch my movies in Richmond Hill. I'm just one person's opinion but this is over the course of months that is taking me to come up and write this review because I genuinely used to enjoy coming to Colossus now I don't think I'll ever step foot in there again unless they get their act together.

Went again on June 04 - superb day, early show and popcorn was fresh, washroom clean, theatres clean, staff friendly, plenty of parking unless it’s a Friday night...come ahead of time. Our family watched A Dogs Way Home and it was a very good movie. This theatre has your standard popcorn and drinks along with a pretty good arcade centre. The only issue I had with this theatre is that it doesn't have the flavoured coke or Pepsi drink machines. I purchased our tickets using the cineplex app on my BlackBerry MOTION Android smartphone.

Very small seating arrangement, I hate when they don’t have enough heating during winter. Parking lot is separate even though its hard to find spot during weekends and evening time. I think sound quality is good but It’s not worthy if we don’t have good picture quality. Moreover expensive popcorn and drinks.

It's a good movie theatre, big, comfy, spacious and a lot of available times to watch movies. The only thing is, I wish there was a way to like text or notify staff to do something about people that are causing a disturbance during the movie without having to leave your seat. Also so that it can be discreet as an advantage. It ruins the experience, unfortunately. Some people have notl respect whatsoever. I had a good time the last time I was there despite some chatty people.

It's a Cineplex, they're all pretty much the same. This particular Cineplex is close to other stuff, so it's good for dinner-and-a-movie if people still do that. If you want to see films that are popular, pick Cineplex, if you want to see more indie stuff, try Hot Docs or Bell Lightbox.

Huge theatre, cool place. 18 auditoriums, huge Xcapes games area. Get there early, it's a busy theatre. They also do Lego leagues here, where you can play video games on the big screen. Really fun.

It's missing those nice new coke machines that places like silvercity Richmond Hill has, but, it's all Vaughan has in terms of a movie theatre. You'll always enjoy your first time coming, as it is essentially a spaceship themed place with full sized sci fi models scattered throughout.

Always quite crowded, but tons of auditoriums which means a lot of movie choices. Try to avoid coming on a Saturday night, and if you do make sure you get to your movie early to get good seats. Parking on the North East side is the best, not usually too busy.

3D quality is much better over here and they keep much clean 3D glasses than other cinemas. Seats are same as any other cineplex cinema. As this cineplex is in a plaza with lots of places to eat that would not let you stay starving. Overall nice place to go for movie, just be advance on busy times.

I've been coming to this location more frequently (I'm from mississauga) because my friends from college live in the area and we always come here to hang out. Big cinema, lots of parking and easy to get around. Lots of restaurants nearby if you don't want to pay 3x more than you usually pay for food, and want to have a bite before or after your movie.

Staff are not the most helpful when asked for information. Teenagers not watching movies are freely allowed to loiter and were even vaping in the main waiting area. The memorabilia on display was neat to look at. Food was below what I expect from cineplex.

I really enjoy coming here, I've brought several of my dates here and friends, theatres are always nice and clean when you come in. The customer service is good as-well, food is overpriced but what can you do haha. I just have 1 issue, I like coming here during the weekday in the afternoon lunch time around 12pm when their aren't that many people. But the men's washroom is always horrible, theirs no toilet paper in some of the stalls, or sometimes their just plain dirty. Recently all the stalls ran out of toilet paper so I had to go to the other men's washroom on the other side of the building. To my surprise all the stalls except the last one had a good amount of toilet paper. I've been here around 8 times in total in the past few months and it's always the same problem. Other then that the theatre is great and is give it a 4 if it fixed this issue

Typical theater. Seats are just too small and you get to endure other people's issues of up and down, smells, etc. I am no longer a real theater goer and reminded myself why I prefer to wait for it to be released and enjoy movies in my own home theater. But overall a normal movie going experience with crowds and expensive snacks.

I have visited this cinema a number of times to catch a movie, not bad actually. Not close to where I live so I am not a regular. Like most theatres today, going to a movie is getting more and more expensive. The food is unbelievably expensive, more often than not, a large popcorn, two drinks and some candy is much more expensive than a single movie cost which is a little ridiculous, talking about good margins! Anyway movie is a movie and the munchies are part of the overall experience so what can you do...

I always watch movie here. But just today, i was in a theatre watching a movie when halfway the show, a bright light just bothered my left eye. At first i thought it was one of the customers using a phone. I can't keep my eyes off it so i looked who might be using their phone and the light turned out to be from the projector's room. A worker in the theatre probably moved a curtain or something. Hence, i enjoyed the movie less.

I went to watch Playing With Fire with friends and fam and the online time said 7:50 for the last show, but when we got there, the person at the front said the last show was at 6:15. Nice large theater Ave, imax, dbox, this theater has it all including the arcade for the youth. The will soon be serving alcohol again. The staff are polite and the theater has a good management team. This location is always clean for how busy it usually is. I find that the popcorn at this location taste better than some other locations. This theater is in a safe location and located in a very convenient location right off of hwy 400 and hwy 7.

Gets super crowded on weekends, so make sure you leave enough time to lineup for tickets and to lineup for food/drinks too. Also make sure you leave enough time to find a parking spot. There is a back entrance with additional parking where it's usually easier to find a spot

This is one of my favourite theatres. It has more theatres than most cineplex locations and is quite big, meaning you can always find the movie you want to see here. The theatre is clean and the staff are friendly. However, the snacks are quite expensive, like other cineplex locations. I will definitely be coming back.

I use to love this theater but over the past few times I've been here the cleanliness have been so poor. Here's some examples.. one night behind the counter they had popcorn all over the floor and it was just a nasty mess, and in the movie the sound was extremely low.. on the next visit the our seats were littered with garbage and popcorn as well pop all over the floors... another time we came to the theater and our D-box seats we paid for would not work! And tonight the theater smelled of pure urination all throughout. Of course a staff member came and sprayed the theater after I complained but the smell just came back.... and the bathrooms smelled of piss and was dirty! This theater use to be well maintained not sure what happened

We watched the 10:30pm show of Captain Marvel in theatre 17 and thankfully it was pretty empty. The seats were surprisingly comfortable and had a nice recline. I’m usually freezing in theatres but this time the temperature was bearable! Concession stands were typical and had good variety. There’s a lot of arcade games to play for kids or couples on a date to keep busy before the theatre. The public washrooms were o.k, but had that public washroom smell and could have used a little cleaning. On our way out I couldn’t see a single employee around or security or anyone even if I wanted to ask someone something. Felt like such a ghost town walking out.

This is an excellent Cineplex location. The building is shaped like a giant UFO and can easily be seen from the highway. The layout is good inside, with enough open space that it doesn't get overly difficult to navigate even when really busy. The central concession area is really well laid out so you don't have to wait in line long for popcorn and drinks. The food is staggeringly expensive, as usual. Theaters are clean and well maintained. Huge parking lot, but the road leading to it (Famous Avenue) has issues. It's only one lane each way so it gets extremely congested during busy hours, and it's connected to Highway 7 in a really unusual way that makes the congestion even worse. Plan to spend an extra 2-5 minutes when travelling to this Cineplex because of this poorly placed entrance road.

NOT PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING..we went to cineplex Vaughan last night for a 11:45pm movie and I was very uncomfortable! The seating system is in place to ensure social distancing is being practiced but that did not happen! We were sitting in the corner and 3 people came and sat right down behind us. I asked them to go back to their original seats but they did not do so. My friend asked a cineplex associate to talk to them and nothing happened. She asked them to go to their seats but they said someone else was in their seats, she then leaves to get a manager. Manager came in checked our seat #s, said we were good; he checked the seat number of the 3 people right behind us and saw that they were in the wrong seats. He asked them to move, they said to tell us to move instead... and then the manager left. NOTHING WAS DONE.. very disappointing and social distancing was not practiced.

In my opinion Cineplex is the worst theatre in Vaughan. It has a huge screen, which is nice, but the seats are disgusting. It's cramped, they don't recline and your back gets sore after an hour of sitting there. The food is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. I spent $40 on two popcorns, two drinks, and two candies. That's insane. Tickets are about the same as other theatres, like Imagine, but at least they have discounted days. The one thing I will give Cineplex is that they're able to show movies for a lot longer than other competing theatres. But to me, it's absolutely not worth it to go and sit on a cardboard box for two hours, for $13.25. At least Imagine has proper recliners, you have a real seat, you can rest your arms on the arm rest and not bump elbows with whoever is sitting beside you. There's actually room to walk along the row to get to your seats. I really don't understand why people STILL go to Cineplex. It's god-awful.

Friendly staff and a fun place to visit but as any movie theatre now, the concessions are overpriced. A number of the interior items look a little on the tired side and could use some TLC to spruce things up. Unfortunately in the theatre I visited, the projection bulb must have been dying because the film quality and brightness was really poor and it initially got me a tad triggered; it wasn't my eyes or my own perception because it was the second time that I had watched the movie. In several scenes it was really hard to make out the actors because they just blended into the dark background. Should I have got mad and asked for a new theatre? Maybe, but in the long run, you shouldn't sweat the small stuff. Overall, the Colossus is easily accessible, decent parking and always a good time.

Large open free parking available on site. The only issue is the lack of proper signage to indicate the exits when leaving. This theater location has lots of games inside the main lobby area, even a photobooth. The usual concession stand inside. As for the theaters, pretty much the same as other Cineplex locations. Good location for kids with the added games in the lobby.

As much as i like watching a movie yhere, i really do not enjoy eating there. The customer service is poorly as a bunch of high school graduates work and they are often rude. I find that the who place is so filthy around the cutlery and sauce area. I felt like vomiting the last time I was there. I did t find any point in indulging and getting to clean. After getting my Chia Tea, and standing at the condiments area I was approached by someone doing some volunteer work and was asked If I would like to make a donation to underprivelaged children in the Phillipines. I said that I really could not afford it. her response was "OH, BUT YOU CAN GO SEE MOVIE AND HAVE TEA..MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU" I was totally turned off, let me restate, disgusted by her attitude. Totally ruined the movie for me. With no knowledge of my circumstances, the assumption is made that because I am at this theatre I should be able to afford to give even more than I have already given for the year. With movie attandance on the downturn, I am shocked that Cineplex would allow this type of thing in thier theatres.

I remember when this place first opened in the late 90s. It was awesome then. The building clearly has not been maintained. Roof leaks everywhere, fading paint, potholes in the parking lot. The North side washrooms smells like urine every time I go here to see a movie. I wish they'd do an update/renovation.

Cineplex Cinemas in Vaughan is a movie theater which plays all of the latest movies out. They offer many different theaters including IMAX and D-BOX. The general layout is very easy to understand the organized. The staff are friendly and the seats are comfortable, leading to a great experience if you are looking to watch a movie. Only thing I found was the food was way to pricey for what you are given.

Love Cineplex Vaughan they’ve had their fair share of turn around in supervisors but seem to have it under co tell now. Mohammad is amazing always got a smile on his face. I’ve seen customers yell or be upset about small things and he still keeps calm and has respect!! They have a lady there now that is in management she’s been there for a little whole and she seems to fit in with the customers and has a positive attitude and keeps a smile. The only negative I have is there is an older lady that has worked there as long as I can remember and she is just a bitter old lady! I feel bad that she seems to hate her job but obviously needs it to get through life. I don’t let her negativity bother me I still go to that location several times a month and usually sit IMAX cause I know she doesn’t work that section ???? My kids love Kevin, he has always since they were little been kind with them and taken time to say hello and ask what they’re watching.

Theatre was dirty with disguisting sticky floors. Throughout the movie I didn't feel comfortable putting my shoes on the floor because it constantly stuck to it. The seats and surroundings were also dirty and there were flies flying around. This place really needs to do better.

Theater has a leaky roof so be sure to bring a bar of soap and some shampoo as you can take a shower while watching a movie. Umbrella is also a great idea. Can't believe they have let the place deteriorate to this point. Also a fire hazard with all the electrical equipment.

We love going to see big box office movies and this place is our favourite. This Colossus is a very state of the art place with both IMAX and ULTRAAVX available. Plenty of parking too and is in a very convenient location. During movies having inconsiderate cell phone users, back chair kickers, and talkers etc without ushers doing theater checks seems to have become the norm which is why we rarely go now. Speaking of inconsiderate people, during an IMAX showing of Thor 2 here we had a group come in about 30mins late to along with an usher pointing at us. The usher walked up to our seats with his blinding flashlight probably blinding others as well. It was during the summer so a few of the girls with us were wearing skirts or dresses so it was a little embarrassing for them as the usher leaned down with the flash light to see the seat numbers. He then waved the late group over and said that they were correct that we are sitting in their seats. Confused at this point, we gave the usher our ticket stubs to prove that we were in our rightful seats for the movie. Turns out that late group had tickets for the next day's show!! If the usher would have just checked their tickets beforehand all of this disturbance could've been avoided. Absolutely terrible. We try to be easy going and rarely ever complain to management for anything but felt we had to in this case and we got a sincere apology from the manager.

It's pricey. If you want to enjoy yourself on a budget, I wouldn't suggest coming here. However, it is quite nice of you're feeling for a slightly fancy outing with friends. There is an arcade, the theatres are huge, souvenirs are for sale and there are a slightly wider selection of shows than I have observed available at other cinemas.

The staff in this theatre are cleaning up before the movie has completely ended. I always feel so rushed out the door. I enjoy watching the names of the cast and nowadays there is usually a surprise ending. Movie prices are not cheap and what's up with the pressure to leave while the credits are playing. I also noticed that during the movie so many people have their feet up on the back of the chairs. Why are the staff not asking them to please get their feet off the furniture?

The family and I came here to watch Ralph Breaks The Internet, on New Year’s Eve. The theatre was somewhat clean, but there is definitely room for improvement. The seats in the auditorium were uncomfortable, but there are findable soft spots. As for the display, it was stunning, which is the reason for the four stars.

This place is fantastic. I would rate it a 5. However... the heating and cooling of the theatre was very odd. For a few minutes it would be cold... then a few warm or hot. Ironically we were watching Dune. It coincided with cold when they were inside or in the air... and hot when they were in the dessert. If this was intentional: the theatre gets 6 stars lol. But I think not. Hence 4 stars. Of all the theatres: this was the best I have been to since the colluseum in Ottawa.

This is primarily a customer service issue. Because it's the weekend, you are requested to stand in a MASSIVE line to get tickets. Some mental midget at head office thought it would be a good idea to place all the self serve kiosks in one corner, thus creating a massive bottleneck of customers while they waited to get tickets. Nobody seemed to know how the lines worked, complaints in line were rampant. You also cannot purchase tickets at the refreshment stands, thus making the ticket purchase even more difficult. With only, as I saw, two self serve, purchases online kiosks, this creates yet another bottleneck. Extremely idiotic management decisions at its finest. Whoever thought placing the ticket kiosks in a corner should be fired on the spot.

Few issues... Multiple printing issues with all their kiosk, kiosk would send the transaction through your card but won’t print your movie tickets, causing a bunch of customers to create a second line in retrieving our tickets. One gentlemen at the cashier, no managers anywhere to be seen to help or send help, felt bad for the one gentlemen they had working. Staff dealing at the Outtakes have no sense of urgency and move even slower once other coworkers come around. While watching our movie a green box kept appearing on the screen disrupting our movie, my son even noticed it and complained how disrupting is was. When explained to a staff member they didn’t seem to care and said theirs nothing they can do unfortunately, no manager or crew member was notified or care to adjust/fix the issue, the green box was there till the end.

We are from Brampton in the movie we wanted to see, was not showing at the Cineplex near us. Decided to travel the 30 minute drive to Cineplex Vaughan. Totally worth the drive! Even for a Tuesday night, it was not very busy. We caught the late show so just like anywhere else, within 30 minutes or so. They had shut down all of the concessions. Being an experienced moviegoer, I already know they do this so it didn’t bother me at all. We watched Captain Marvel and even though it has been out for quite some time, it was still showing on a very decent size screen!(some theatres put older movies into smaller screen rooms) We were 2 of maybe 30 people in the theater. We’ve watched many movies here so I can say, the audio and visual experience is amazing! There are lots of games and fun things to do while you wait for your movie in the front entrance. As well as a great selection of food/snacks to choose from if you’re hungry. The entire facility was very clean and well kept. All in all, our experience was fantastic and it was a great date night! Being a worker at other Cineplex locations, I have to say I'm not too impressed with the cleanliness at this one. Outtakes mixes their tongs and pizza cutters, instead of dividing by meat and vegetarian. Their pizza rotates are slow, leaving 3+ hour old slices in the display frequently. A couple times, I found trays and cups still on or under seats when entering a movie, so I think some theatre checks are skipped accidentally, which should never happen. Step it up guys, you're representing all of us.

It's always fun to go cineplex for movie lovers. Finally, theaters open now and they are following all rules and regulations and measurements in order to keep people safe. Normally, their shows start on time but this time they started movie almost 15 minutes late which no one liked. On top of that, they kept entrance open during the movie so light was flashing on the screen. Secondly, they Didn't open all the cashier windows and just because of it, people have to stand in long queues for snacks and drinks. So, they should start all windows as soon as possible.

I love coming here to watch movies with my boyfriend mainly because the seats are somewhat comfortable compared to other Cineplex cinemas and I can put the arm up to get settled. Customer service here is not perfect, but the cast members are friendly. There are fine dining restaurants nearby as well if you are looking to have a date night.

Went to see the new Star Wars. First 10 minutes didn't have dialogue sound turned on. Took so long for the staff to respond. When they finally fixed the sound, they couldn't turn off the lights in the theatre room, because it would turn off the projector at the same time. So we had the option to see a movie with the lights on or leave. The worst part of this was the terrible crisis management of thw theatre. No communication with the movie-goers to tell us they were working on it or what to expect.

This theatre is my go-to place for movies. The auditoriums are a good size. The staff try their best to make them as clean as they could before the next show. I like how their location is surrounded by many restaurants, stores, and entertainment. Parking can be difficult to find during the premiere of popular movies. They have a good amount of ticketing kiosks to reduce the lines. Their concession counter is quite expensive. If popcorn is a must and you're with a date, I suggest going over to Costco to get the movie package if you have a membership. They have a decent amount of arcade games as well.

Large theatre, right near the highway. The prices are still ridiculously high for any of the refreshments and the food is about average. However if you don't visit the movies often then it's fine to sacrifice for a drink and popcorn. The benefit about Cineplex is that they always have plenty of theatres to access for any new movies so you'll always be able to get seats for a brand new movie. As well as booking seats online is very helpful. Still it's very expensive for any refreshments.

Went to see Star Wars The Last Jedi (auditorium 11). About 15 mins into the film it had poor audio quality. We were told to wait roughly 10 mins for it to be fixed. It was fixed yes but during the movie the lights weren't turned off for about 30-45 into the movie. At least we were given 2 free passes.

I love coming to this establishment, but as of lately the advertising (commercials of things other than films coming soon) are getting ridiculous... like 20 minutes of advertisements and they just show 2 or 3 for movies that are coming soon or playing. That brings it to a whopping 30 to 35 mins. So if you decide to see a movie and its starts at 730 for example don't expect to be seeing the movie until like 8 unless you really love all those commercials.

Overall my experience here was very unimpressive the staff were very cold and rude and showed no interest in helping/serving. The bathrooms were very dirty, water on the floor and counter tops as well as multiply stalls which were not clean. The movie was supposed to start at 4:00 however it didn’t. They were cleaning the theatre right up until 5 min until the start time. When we did finally go in it was so dark it was almost a hazard to to be walking. You needed to turn your phones flash light on to see. You couldn’t see the whole screen even from the top row whose to me is a waste of time and money. Very unfortunate considering this will be my first and only experience at this theatre. If I could have given negative stars I probably would of. Would NOT recommend.

Love this theatre. The arcade is great. It has a lot of classic games, like Jurassic park, which I love. The staff and management are amazing. So friendly and accommodating. Also most weeks this theatre gets the Friday new releases a day early on Thursdays. Love it!

We went to see the Emoji Movie tonight and it was like no one knew how to act in the movie. The staff would come in and use their phone flashlight to look for things. Then we had a family looking for something that dropped for about 10 minutes with a flashlight. This caused the screen to show outlines of people and made it next to impossible to watch the move. On top of that there were two woman behind us with kids that continuously talked though the whole movie. And the best is when one of them would answer their phone on speaker and tell the person who was calling that she can't talk because she is in the movies. Next a guy in the first row was texting closer to the end of the movie. The theatre has to do a better job ensuring people respect the fact that we are in a theatre and not at home.

Until now it was one of my favorite cineplex theatres but I guess until now I didn’t booked any “international movie”.. as you can see on Cineplex Movie App while browsing for a movie. I was happy that I can see “Simmba” movie at this place and this theatre is near to my house otherwise I have to go Mississauga all the time if I want to see any International movie(In my case Bollywood).. for IMAX and stuff this place is good but my experience for today was extremely unsatisfactory.. we got Audi 18 and while entering there was a weird smell.. the theatre was so dirty.. and washroom was also not clean. I had a guest from India with me.. and I wanted him to have a “Canadian experience”.. and thanks to you guys for ruining it! Now he’ll go back to his home country and will tell his experience.. and guess what you guys will get famous for dirtiness and so does Canada! Also I had 2500 scene points so I thought to use it for my popcorn and stuff.. and the bill was about $20 something.. but the lady at the refreshments counter didn’t accepted my 2000 points(she made me pay)and only accepted 1500.. even she forgot to give my half order.. and I had to remind her.. she didn’t felt sorry at all! The popcorn was cold as well!!

Growing up this theatre was the grand movie going experience and going back to it brings a lot of memories. Even though there may be newer theaters with the latest technology and comfort, this theatre still stands the test of time. I would claim that it's one of the better theaters in the GTA.

IMAX room is very steep. The middle row is after a huge step and has a high concrete wall in front. This makes less rooms for legs which often end up high on the wall. No middle aisle, which can make evacuation troublesome. Hopefully no tragedy happens and everyone CAN ENJOY THE SHOW!!!!

When you first walk in it looks impressive. Fair prices for food and admissions. But when we sat in the theatre (auditorium #3) it stunk like pee. And it wasn't just one area it was the whole room. Walking down the steps I noticed that the stairways were all busted and the seats were very worn. This theatre definitely needs a renovation or at least some upgrades and some major cleaning!

Had a mediocre experience at my last visit. Waited in line to buy snacks when another cashier opened up and told me to come over. Some lady hurried to the front of that line as I was walking over and took my spot. The cashier didn't even say anything when she was the one who waved me over. Went back to my original line and it was now behind another family. Very disappointing experience. Also no one was available at the games counter so I had to wait a long time to be able to buy a play card.

Terrible experience! Awful customer service!!! Within the first few minutes after the movie started, I left the theater number 18 to find a staff member and bring it to their attention that it was very cold inside the theater. After explaining the situation to a very nice and attentive staff member he told me that he would let the manager on duty know so that something could be done. Since the movie had already started, I rushed back inside. I ended up wearing my jacket the whole time. Even then it was cold...thought it was just me but everyone inside the theater had their jacket on. By the end of the movie I even had my hands in the pocket and my hoodie on. When the movie ended, I went to look for the manager on duty. Once I found her (name tag - “Mursal S”) i said; “Hi, I would like to bring it to your attention that theater 18 is extremely cold, it feels like the AC is ON no heat at all” With a rude tone she replied; “Oh ya!? No one told me that! “Sorry, I was just trying to let you know...” Before I had a chance to finish my sentence, she started talking through the her earpiece without excuse herself. Extremely surprised by the rudeness and lack of attention I asked if it was normal to just started talking to whoever without excusing her self. “We were done!” She replied with a harsh and rude tone. Extremely disappointed! Colossus has always been a great movie complex to go to since it was built....not anymore!

If you are looking to watch movies and don't want your seat in front, you can book tickets in this cinema as you can usually find seats around the middle where it's quite comfortable to watch at the screen. The only thing i have to say is that we had to get seats at the front which is not recommended because it's to close to the screen. its good that the seats go back but you can't lay back all the time then you're ready to sleep.

One of the better movie theatres in the GTA. It's been around for a long time and although it has been updated, it has a lot of the original Star Wars memorabilia from about 25 years ago. It's very big and has multiple cinemas within which have a multitude of movies playing. Would recommend.

Good place to see a movie. They have toys for children related to current movies. They have an arcade that dispenses tickets so you can win prizes. They have some good concession stands if you need food (or close enough to other restaurants in nearby plaza to get other food). IMAX screen plus multiple reserved seating screens in building. Plenty of kiosks to get your own ticket. Parking is kind of a pain in the front but if you park in the back, you're good.

This is a major multiplex with all the comfort and features of a state of the art cinema. There is the traditional offerings of popcorn, nachos candy and drinks. The theatres are clean, available with Ultra Avx and reserved seats (movies may vary). This is a major centre for new releases in the region. The many resturants around the theatre capture a diverse range of tastes and prices for anyone from fast food to more upscale dining. What makes this an experience is a nostalgic tribute to great cinematic science fiction elements. The theatre is shaped as a flying saucer. Models from Star Trek and Star Wars are dotted throughout to create a joyful scavenger hunt of original science fiction icons. Service is friendly, but automatic tellers and bright video games are also available, consistent with the "futuristic theme". Worth a visit for any major or minor theatrical release.

One of my favourite places to see IMAX. It has many screens so on a busy weekend you could try finding a seat here. Staff has been very helpful in the past. When I got into an issue with printing my ticket (I know not an issue nowadays), management was quick to override and reprint. Another time, I went on Christmas, and as expected it was really busy. But the attendant by the ticket kiosk was helpful in telling me roughly how far sold out the theatre was. Personally, I usually try to avoid Fridays or Saturday nights but it is still a reliable place for movies and gaming entertainment.

Went to see aladain and theater was sold out. We arrived early and had no issues with seats but we witnessed a few word exchanged between different people and a full on confrontation between two men. At no point did I see any staff. At no point was my ticket checked.

I had a horrible Timeplay Experience. I pay 13.50 for my Cineplex experience. 6.75 for the movie I could download 3 months from now and the 6.75 for the Timeplay. Movie was meh but that's another review for Universal Studios. Going into my seat I got excited cuz there's only 10 ppl in the theatre and then Timeplay began. My excitement began, and I finished first in the first game and was anticipating game number 2. BUT THERE WAS NO GAME NUMBER 2. Like what happened, "Colossus" was allowed to play 3 Cineplex games but Cineplex cinemas only gets one? I'd like 1000 scene points sent to my scene account for horrible Timeplay services. Outside of the Toronto core, this one is my choice for a number of reasons; -The sound & video are particularly well done here...consistently.* -Generally good customer service. If there's an issue, it's dealt with appropriately.** -Great IMAX theatre. There's only a couple that get it right in the GTA. * I'm very particular about this. My system at home sounds great so when I hit the cinema I expect something really nice and a lot of cinemas get their sound mixes wrong. That is a rarity here; they typically get everything balanced nicely. **Had a sound issue today. Others were mentioning it on the way out. The Manager took it seriously and instantly said she'd look into that; took care of us and made it right. That's a rarity these days. Customer service; imagine that? For all of these reasons; I drive a bit to get a better experience at this location. It is a Wise choice, for the picky person.

Horrible experience, auditorium 18 was freezing cold I had my 2 little ones freezing and about 1third into to the move the audio stopped working the were able to offer us 1 free admission but that doesn't cover the fact that we wasted our time in a movie that you couldn't understand the audio and we froze. At the end when they gave us a free admission is when we found out the heater broke in that theatre room.. very inconvenient and dissatisfied.

Worse Imax experience I have. The employee did not turn off the lights during the movie. The bright flood light was on the entire trailer. We had to go out and ask for someone. Did not close the door after turning off the light. At the end of the movie Noone even turn on the lights, I saw a kid trip going down the stairs. This is on Saturday may 18, 2019 at 2:30 Showtime for end game. Who ever is the supervisor here should fire the person/s who is looking after that cinema room. I am very very disappointed. I hope the parents kid Perdue the corporate for this incident.

worst experience ever. the place is so confusing and loud that i couldn't navigate my way around. i kept telling people to quiet down so i can think and no one took me serious. after 45 mins i finally find the theatre room. an hour and a half into the movie and i realised i was in the wrong room and no one told me. then i went to use the washroom and they were out of toilet paper. but i had already done my business. so i called the front desk for help but no one answered. i asked the guy in the other stall to some toilet paper and we was giving small bits at a time. i will never go back to this place confusing place. it was like living in a riddle.

The decor is a little dated, but still has lots of choices of movies under one roof, free parking, choice of attendant or self serve kios, and your standard movie concessions. Theatre are clean, seats and good, sound and picture are good in my opinion. Only downside is you need a car to get there.

Haven't been here in many years but it was a nice return visit overall. Video gaming and play area was just a bit too expensive relatively but the customer service was great. Theatre was clean and comfy with reclining seats (which was good & bad since I am very tall and the guy in front of me reclined on my knees sometimes). The chicken burger of which I ordered 2 was delicious but fell apart and was messy to hold for both of us (maybe a bit too much mayo or cause the chicken was so thick?). The bathrooms were clean but had no paper towels so there was a line up to use the hand dryers which was inconvenient...still it was a nice evening out overall.

To get tickets you line up in the same line as the ticket booths so if you are getting there close to the movie time there is no way you can get tickets fast. The one ticket booth for online advance tickets closes exactly on the minute of the start time. Arrive early if you are planning to go.

Possibly the worst theatre I've ever been to in over 13 years I've been here. Watched Interstellar with family with tickets totaling around $46; to start the movie with what looked like a door/curtain open on the right side of the screen leaving a huge bright light blocking part of the screen. Then came the worst sound quality I've ever seen to date at any theatre. Loud sound is not the problem, but when all you hear is ear numbing vibration and you have to lip read because the voices are barely audible over the noise, its terrible. Won't be going back to this theatre ever again, nor recommending it.

Went to the counter.the boy was rude and behaved like I came to steal movies.the manager came and was worse.i opened my account(phone app) and saw a charge for $38.97 from famous player. At first they denied that famous player didn't own them.my friend who payed with another cashier opened her account and showed her with the receipt. Then they accepted but changed,saying that the date showed dec 29. We explained that it's showing dec 29 not dec 25, because it's next business day. This woman humiliated us and cursed us out.other people (white) who had similar issues were quickly refunded and didn't even had to use phone data to show bank account charge. My Christmas night was beyond ruined.called guest services and they said they will investigate to see if i recieved the tickets and if i didnt that they will mail check and it takes 6-8 wks? It took less than a minute for them to remove the money from my account. Pls guys go to another place.ive never been this humiliated in my life. I'm a female engineer .I don't need to lie about movie tickets or been profiled as such cos I'm black.

Don't go as there is no social distancing at all in the theater. It may be at 50% capacity but everyone is sitting in the top 50% of the theater . I would have thought that the ticket ordering program would have been redone to accommodate some sort of effort around social distancing of each group that ordered tickets and spread people around the whole theater . Not have me sit over 2 hours shoulder to shoulder with some stranger. I would not be surprised if theaters went to 25% capacity or even ttl closure/ lockdown any time soon. On a positive note the staff in the theater dis a good job at policing proper mask wearing prior to the movie, but once the lights go down there is no longer any enforcement. I don't know where some people have been living the past 2 years but they clearly are oblivious & ignorant to masking.

This was the dirtiest theatre I've ever seen. Filth and dust everywhere. The entry way even smelled like urine. You could barely see through the glass doors for fingerprints and smudges. The movie on IMAX was very good and I liked it, however the condition of the theatre affected my enjoyment of it. I was worried about what my white t-shirt might look like after leaving my seat once I saw what the rest of the place looked like.

Very disappointed with our experience. We went to see the Lion King on Imax for a 7pm saturday show and the theatre had no air conditioning. The entire two hour film wss ruined because of the stifling heat. It was just very uncomfortable and myself and my wife both left the theatre with headaches. Please be more aware of the climate control in the future as crowded theatres tend to get hot.

This theatre is great. It has IMAX which I frequent to. I took 2 stars off for 2 reasons; On a busy night there’s literally no parking. God forbid you come just in time for your showtime, now you’re going to be late because you’re going to spend 15-20 min finding parking. Also, they don’t have that custom drink machine that some other Cineplex have, the one where you can mix flavours. This theatre is usually clean and up-kept, but there’s room for improvement.

It’s a decent location. Not as bad as others. However the customer service is probably the lowest. The employees often interact to each other while taking your order. It’s rude to have conversations with others while speaking to the customer. Or when the employees drag their feet to get popcorn, totally disregarding the lineup. Line up for food was very quick. Just seemed to be an extra effort by employees to make everything a great experience. I felt very comfortable and safe and had a great time overall. Thanks

My family really enjoys this theater. It is close by and the exterior alone makes you want to go in and see a movie. They have recently (or at least recently for me) added more self server kiosks by reducing the live associates registers to 2. The convenience is a nice feature, but the human interaction is what makes the whole experience a memorable one!

Enjoy visiting this theatre. Sometimes there are big lineups at snack counter and lots of staff behind counter chatting but not enough registers open to address demand. This should be proactively managed. Register staffing should be based on attendance and queue length. Otherwise great theatre.

I don't mind that an afternoon matinee costs $14, or that a small bottle of Coke is $5. What I mind is that, the last 2 times I went to see a movie here, in 2 different auditoriums I'm sure, both of them stunk of urine. Plus, the last of the two times, there was half of a carcass of a dead bird inside the main doors. This place should go into biohazard quarantine until a HazMat team cleans it out.

Popcorn was sooo fresh and delish! I'd avoid this location on Fridays and weekends ...it is just too busy! My only complaint is that the concession stand doesnt show prices?

Beautiful huge screens with the seats that recline for your comfort without disturbing the person in front of you or behind you. The place is clean. Be sure to take a full wallet with you or a charge card.

Decided to treat myself and son to a movie. First time ordering a beer at the theater, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. To pay 12 for a WARM beer left a sour taste in my mouth and pocket. Never again. Should have purchased the $5 tap water.....wont be coming here again

The AVX theatres are great but the entire theatre is filthy and needs a lot of cleaning. Women's washrooms were not clean the 3 times I've been there this year. Seems like they need some updates to make things not seem so old.

It’s a great place to watch a movie . The only thing is I’m allergic to dust and every time I come here I find my self itching, sneezing and blowing my nose which makes it an uncomfortable experience . There’s definitely a lot dust that hasn’t been cleaned plus the number of people that come to the theatre on the the daily basis. I ended up asking someone who works at the theatre and they said that the night cleaners just power sweep at night but definitely not vacuum. Yuck ! Explains a lot .

One of the movie theaters that offer IMAX. Huge theaters. There is also arcade for everybody to enjoy although I didn't get chance to. Huge parking but this place has one of the worst traffic as it is located in a busy intersection where everyone is trying to use the Cineplex plaza as shortcut. This cineplex plaza has a wide variety of restaurants and stores you can visit.

Buy a ticket for a 1pm movie, the movie started at 1250pm,the manager says its an automated system and there is nothing they can do, liars. Liars because 10 minutes later they stopped the movie and restarted it, something the manager told me was impossible!

Horrible services for inquiry. I called and searched all over for a number to speak to an actual human being about covid restrictions and it’s impossible to speak to a living person. Very unsatisfied

Huge line up because they have reduced the ticket wickets to 2 operated by people. All the other wickets replaced by self serve screens that people either have to flag down an attendant to assist with or if it is working it takes them a long time to purchase a ticket. I missed 15 min of my movie( the movie itself was very good). Disgusting restrooms. Cineplex rehire the students!

Great seating, , customer service needs to be assistive when it comes to people not knowing how to use phone apps. Scene cards have issues when it comes to redeeming points.

I saw the final Avengers movie here in one of the Dbox seats and it was amazing. The seats make you feel like you're part of the action. The first part of the movie was boring so I fell asleep, but the Dbox seat woke me up and I'm thankful for that, since the rest of the movie was action packed! I wish all theatres offered Dbox seats for every movie.

Great rooms, pretty clean and not too full, has a great variety of food inside it and tons more nearby. Purchasing tickets is really fast with self-service computers and everything just works. The bathrooms could be a LOT cleaner, but I cannot blame the place that much.

I find that this theatre has far more screen times and screens than other locations in the city. Very fun gaming area for kids, decent concession (no Tim Horton's though). Service is fairly quick and space is generally kept cleaner than others that I've visited. Both English as well as Bollywood movies screen here so it's a great option for GTA film-lovers!

Overall, good experience. If they could control their lines at the concession stand and have everyone demonstrate a high sense of urgency, it would make it a great experience and eliminate the lines.

A good theatre but not great. It is starting show it's age and cineplex is not maintaining it very well. The theatre I was last in had broken seats and bathrooms need some tlc. There ticket prices are very expensive. It gets very busy here. If given the option drive to one of the newer theatres.

Lots of auditoriums so I can always find a show there. Popcorn was fresh and delicious!! Straws were a bit of a downer... I couldn’t finish my pop because the paper straw fell apart before the end of the movie.

Not happy with the smelly bathrooms on both sides of the building and the smell goes through to the theaters. Not cleaned enough throughout the day!! The carpet absorbs the smell and the large crawling bugs are real!! Shake yourself when you leave. Not coming back here again!!!

One of the better movie theatres to enjoy some big releases since they're equipped with a proper IMAX theatre and UltraAVX theatre with ATMOS. It's expensive but that's no big surprise whenever you choose Cineplex cinemas but the sound and screen is worth it.

Was in theatre 8 to see Atomic Blonde move was ok but what a dump the whole theatre smelled of urine dirty stickey floors even the hand rails where stickey broken seats worn carpet and stair nose brocken (trip hazard)When we left our shoes where slippery by what ever was on the floor not worth it with the price of admission and sit in that disgusting area bad enough with the comericals we won't be back

Location of the theatre is a bit far, but it's a giant theatre with a good selection of movies. They even have an arcade in the front. Lots of parking spaces, and a good selection of food around.

Saw Aquaman (regular), it was okay. The theater was packed though and the reclining seats make it near impossible to pass through the aisles without falling on strangers. So unnecessary. Everything else was okay but the seating was unbearable. University lecture halls have better seating.

We arrived 30 minutes early to get yogurt. We waited in line for 20 minutes. Once we got to the front of the line the staff member informed us it was cash only because the system was down. I understand the system being down, that’s out of their control. What I don’t understand is why they didn’t tell us when we first got into line. They could have made a sign or an announcement. They decided to do nothing and just waste peoples time. Very disappointed.

Went there to see Avenger's Endgame, fairly standard cineplex atmosphere, however despite the tiered seating that ensures no one is blocking your view, I have had coach airline seats with more leg room. Imax theatre, row F, seat 19. You would think with the price they charge for IMAX, they could loose a row or two so that the people moving along the row didn't have to LITERALLY climb over the legs of seated patrons. Also, I understand previews are part of the movie experience, but for a 2.30 showing, the opening credits starting at 2.48 is not acceptable.

This show was great, even though there were lots of people it flowed nicely. Popcorn was yummy Starbucks coffee really topped it off. Parking was adequate and easy to get out of the lot.

This is my local theatre. I've been visiting this theatre for many years as it's right by my house. They have changed some of the interior over the past few years and more recently removed 90% of the ticket counters which require person to person interaction (this also means jobs have been taken away). They have situated the electronic ticket machines along one side and created a general line which you must join in order to use the machines as well as see one of the two cashiers. I usually purchase my tickets online and avoid the need to use a machine at the theatre. On this particular day, i had a gift voucher which could not be used online nor on the machines (because of its type) which was quite inconvenient. While in the line there was a staff member walking around asking what method of payment people were using. She did take us from the line and brought us to the front where we were served by a cashier which was great. This was a long weekend so the line up was insane to say the least. We watched a movie that was located in one of the AVX theatres. My gosh was it run down!! My seat literally had a fist size hole in it right in between my legs along with rips and tears in the pleather on the back and seat. My legs were scratched and pinched the throughout the entire 2 hr movie. In addition to this, the theatre was dirty and not cleaned between showings. It's unfortunate that this theatre is becoming very run down. It's a popular location that makes a lot of money. I think its time to invest in some updates. Good job on the customer service, but please look into the condition of your theatres.
