It's good but always so busy and it can be hard to find parking since the lot is shared between the theater and quite a few restaurants. Ticketing is mostly automated now which is in large part good but at times slows things down if some are unfamiliar with how to use them.

(Current Pandemic/Stage 3 Review) Great reserved seating system from Cineplex! Implementing seat spacing between the next available groups in front, behind and next to your group. Lots of staff to ensure customers are aware of protocols implemented at the Queensway location. Unfortunately, the Tim Horton's has since been removed from this location. (Pre-Pandemic Review from 8 Years Ago) One of the few Cineplex that have/allowed a Tim Hortons product and etc, to be brought into the theatres. This Cineplex is the one I commonly go to. It's cheap and less busy on Tuesdays around $7!

Favorite theater. There's a small arcade, which is fun. VIP theater has very comfortable seating but doesn't serve the same combos as the regular side. Regular theater is comfortable - the chair are comfortable and recline a little. Also, there's a Tim Hortons and a frozen yogurt place inside. Lot's of free parking and valet parking.

Its hit and miss. Some rooms are more comfortable than others, at least as far as the seating goes. Sunday is movie day so no matter the time you pick it'll be full. Personally prefer a weekday that it's pretty much empty.

This theatre is okay compared to others. Concession is not the fastest crew. VIP is seperate, and so they don't have regular concession, and popcorn is prefilled. The seats in VIP are not recliners like other locations. The positive is that they have free parking and Ultra AVX is as good as any other. Overall, this theatre is O.K.

Chose this theater to watch the new Gucci film...theater 10. We had to wait for the theater to be cleaned between shows before we are allowed inside. Considering what's going on right now..you'd think cleaning would be a little more detailed and rigorous..because to our surprise when we got to our seats...the previous spectators used napkins were still stuffed in the cupholders. Yuck. Not impressed.

make sure to book your movie before you go to make sure you get seats. due to limited seating. its quite spread out between you and the next person. cinaplex is finally back. lets hope they dont close again

They don't do a very good job cleaning up between movie screenings. Bring some wet wipes to clean your seats and hand rests. If you could move somewhere else it wouldn't be a problem but reserved seats mean you're stuck with their mess. Ungh.

This cinema is a good blend of kids, older folks, date night and families. We were there on a sunday afternoon -- older/elder crowd -- makes for a nice experience. We've been there with folks who talk through the whole movie (usually a popular movie and crowded theatre) so tend to avoid prime time and prime movies.

We had a really good night out at the movies tonight! We went to the VIP and arrived earlier enough, and hungry enough, so we ordered the in theater dining. It was surprisingly very good. I had a Beyond Burger and my husband an Angus burger. We were both very happy with our burgers, the seats were comfy, the movie was good. We had a great night.

We went to VIP cinemas as thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were following covid guidelines and directed us with using the facility and service We ordered some food from in theater waiter and it tasted delicious ???? the portions were huge and we ended up ordering more than we could eat though. It's definitely an experience to try for special occasions

I guess it doesn’t help that a group sitting at the back of the theatre decided it was their night out, it was their theatre, and talked loudly through the Entire movie. On top of that, the volume was set so low you had to struggle at times to hear the movie. And the reservation for reserved seats was haphazardly and cheaply put together. Yea, you could actually reserve a single seat next to someone. Instead of doing the right thing and creating bubbles as people buy seats, the theatre options are 2 seats randomly located. It also required a conversation when showing the tickets as we were told 3 of us could sit together. Cineplex has had months to figure this out. But web was never their strong suit. So there it is. I feel bad, wish they got this right. I don’t want businesses to fail, and I want to be able to go to the theatre, but it’s on them to get it right. Grow up and stop being so lazy. Oh, and there seems to be no rule around masks in the theatre. Your best bet- buy all 50 seats for $250. Sadly, you can’t pick your own movie. Again, get with THESE TIMES, Cineplex. Time for some innovation.

Really like the fact that now you don't have to go to VIP or 3D IMAX to have reserved seating. Mind you it is ~ $3 more in price but for the convenience, definitely worth it. Most of the in-person cashiers have been replaced by automated self serve machines now if you are purchasing tickets on site. About 5 stalls and two in-person manned. 2 mobile ticket pick up machines located across customer service. The one thing I don't like is now if you purchase a kids combo which normally comes with a toy on the cup (like a statue) that is now extra/you have to pay additional.

From what I've seen this theater has been completely redone as far as the recliner seats. I went there in aug and because of covid there were maybe 15 people in the theater. It was a weird feeling. Kind of felt like we had the theater to ourselves. Also kind of felt post appacoliptic. I like the movie theater pre covid, full of people and the sound of popcorn being eaten.

I hate the new automated machines instead of people to attend to ticket sales . There's only one person at customer service, so paying by cash is difficult. And on the weekends parking is insane. Otherwise, this is a great theatre. It's big, spacious, they have lots of food choices, the seats are roomy and comfortable and the staff are usually on top of things. Especially considering this is the busiest theatre complex in Canada.

I come here for the VIP, seriously once you've done a VIP movie you'll never want to go back to the normal one. The chairs are so comfortable, the food is yummy and it's peaceful because there's no kids! It is expensive but totally worth it.

The washrooms are dirty - floors, walls of the stalls, toilet seats....not nice. Perhaps you should hire a cleaning company to clean them instead of getting the staff (who clearly don't care) to do it.

Very welcoming! The person greeting us was super nice and friendly and explained all new covid precautions. The girls at concessions were funny and speedy. The movie was great. Nice experience post covid 19.

I really liked the theaters, the layout, and the experience except for having to pay extraordinary amounts of money for the popcorn, drinks and snacks. I always feel a terrible sense of being ripped off when I see those crazy high prices and it takes away from the whole experience. That is why I rarely go to the theater anymore, instead I have built a home theater system and I have friends over to watch movies and they bring their own snacks and the like and it's a lot more fun.

Very uncomfortable, Pathetic seats.???? I literally had back and shoulder pain. Instead of having 18 Auditoriums, invest in some high quality seats. I would highly suggest to look for an alternate theater.

This review is for VIP cinemas alone. We were invited by Scene for a special preview for the VIP cinemas at this location. The event was a big success at least in terms of winning me over as a customer who would love to visit the VIP theaters in other locations as well. What's so awesome about this theater you ask? It's the "VIP experience". First off, you get reserved seating. The seats are designed for couples. They are reclining which makes then wayyy more comfy than the usual seats!! Next, while you are seated you get to order from a special menu before the show starts and the food gets delivered to your seat!! We had some fantastic crunchy, fried dill pickles. They were well-dressed and came with a ranch dipping sauce. The quantity was generous and I couldn't stop eating them for the rest of the show!! We also got the Cheddar cheese sticks but they were very heavy and not too flavourful. I wasn't too impressed with them. The food however was good for the price. They definitely have more variety than the usual menu of nachos and popcorn. They also have a complete main course and desserts!! Oh, and the theatre is licensed so you can also order alcoholic beverages! What more can you ask for? The service was excellent...I guess that's why they call it VIP service. Even the washrooms lived up to the whole experience. They have individual washrooms with a sink in each room...so you don't have to wait until other people are done washing their hands. I love the whole concept. The theatre is only 18+ in Ontario. I got free tickets and food at the event but I wouldn't hesitate in spending from my own pocket the next time I have to see a movie here. It's totally worth it!!

Once you go VIP you never go back...but I do hope they equip those waiters with flash light shoes and trays cause someones gonna get hurt real bad. I had to grab and hold onto a waiter that was falling right on front of me trying to get to his customer.

The 270 degree view provided in some of the screens is a sham. The edges of the original screen are stretched over with very poor resolution. You are paying extra for some fancy setup which does not give any meaningful experience.

Prepurchasing tickets and reserving seats online makes it a whole lot easier and less stressful. Making the experience much more enjoyable. Update: Bumped it up to 5 stars after experiencing the VIP cinema. What a great experience. Service was awesome and the food was great too. The seats were so comfortable with lots of space. You don't feel cramped in like you do in regular cinemas even though the cinema was sold out. If you want experience dining in the cinema I suggest coming early as I don't think they serve or take orders once the movie starts or at least I didn't notice this happening. VIP is something you should try at least once. However, I'm planning to go again and again.

My go to cinema. Often busy but offers good sound and a good experience. I like the VIP side of the house when going on a date as it is a little more relaxed and having a drink with the show is a nice touch. The food is pretty good for what is offered; it's not 5 star but is on par with most pubs.

Great location for movies, also has restaurants in the same parking lot, but close by to many other restaurants. Ample parking. Lots of automated ticket Counters so the you don’t really have to wait in or. Concession area also moves through orders quickly. If you’re getting nachos, I recommend you try one at the counter before walking away, the last batch I had, they were undercooked and tasted like you’re biting through plastic. I traded them in for another batch which were perfect. Also, no hassle to trade them. The employee was nice about it.

I really like this one. They have a separate building and entrance for the VIP which is pretty cool. The theaters are very clean and the employees are also very helpful. If you are up for a different and actually immersive experience the please try the ScreenX technology for the movie. I watched Ford V Ferrari and it was amazing!

This is one of my favourite Cineplex locations. There's a good amount of free parking available and several restaurants in the area. It offers all the latest movie formats - D-Box, IMAX, 3D, etc. However, what I enjoy the most at this location is the VIP theatre. They offer valet parking, a dining area with a bar, and in-seat service (up to the movie start time). VIP tickets are double the prices of regular tickets but I collect SCENE points and often redeem points for free tickets.

My favorite cinema by far! Huge parking lot, free. Seating is comfortable and roomy. There are a few good reataurants right there if you want a meal bedore or after the movie. They have a VIP section in the theatre that is awesome.

I highly recommend the VIP experience for everyone at least once in their lives, or at least for a special movie night out. It's relaxing sitting in comfortable seats, getting served from a menu, with staff bringing it right to your seat. It's more of a classy movie experience.

The experience was cool & food+drinks good! But the service was really lacking... I was the first person in the theatre and was never approached to have my order taken. I ended up ordering on my phone & placed an expensive order. The woman serving looked at me and based on pure assumptions decided that I didn’t look like I could have placed it despite me waving my hands to signal her over. She literally went the row ahead and then put the whole tray down to double check the seats before letting go of her ignorance & coming over to give me my stuff. Just order on your phone & save yourself the trouble of waiting for them! But honestly I recommend a different location with better service & reclining chairs.

I ordered food as soon as we sat down. Took 45 minutes to get chicken fingers with fries. Worst part the movie was 15 minutes I and my food was COLD. Also a better job could be done with social distancing. When I bought my tickets the seats next to me were blocked....but a couple that had to sit with their friends decided it was ok to sit there. Never wore a mask from the time they sat down.

Not sure how often I will indulge for the VIP treatment. I do suggest ordering direct from the menu instead of their dinner and a movie deal, they don't allow any substitutes even if you agree to pay the difference. Also be prepared to spend the night beside your dirty dishes

Went here to watch Spiderman into the Spidey Verse as a part of a free thing that Sony was doing. There was a closer theatre to my house but all the spots were taken so I went here instead. Hard to find out about ticketing but also kinda hard to find the theatre where the movie was playing. Nice movie theatre but wouldn't go again as its far and I can go to a closer one. Nothing against Cineplex, but I can go to a closer one.

A great movie theater that showcases many different films. Parking is usually not a problem and the VIP theater is a bonus. I recommend that you book your tickets in advance because by the time you get to the theater the tickets are often already sold out.

This is a pretty nice they are. The theater is comfortable and well kept for the most part. We went to hear to see The Incredibles 2. We enjoy getting popcorn and yogurt here to enjoy during the movie. This is a pretty standard Cineplex to go to.

Nice enough theatre but nothing special. The best way to see a show is vip... followed close by IMAX. It's too bad that big movie forces so many ads in your face. Went to see a move today and had to suffer 10 mins of ads after the honor of buying a ticket. Boooo

We went to the VIP part of this theater once about 5 years ago for a special occasion, and ever since then it has became our go to movie theater. The VIP theaters in Oakville and downtown Toronto don't even come close to the quality of this location. It is clean and comfortable, and the staff are all great. Customer service really sets this location apart. We tried out the Oakville location once, and they had many technical difficulties on opening night of the movie (to the extent that when they finally did get it working 45 minutes late you had to put your glasses on upside down to get the 3D proper I was lucky enough to discover that worked on my own), and they made a big fuss and wouldn't compensate you without emailing them and going through a big ordeal. To compare, once at this theater, they had 2 very brief power outages from an intense thunderstorm which they were able to recover from easily and they gave everyone free passes on their way out of the room, with an apology and a smile. This is just one of many examples why we choose this location. We like it so much we choose to drive 45 minutes each way to see our movies, and we see quite a few. Big thanks to this team for being awesome!

Great VIP theatres, love the valet parking option on a cold or rainy day. If you don’t want to eat at the cinema there is also a few restaurants in the same parking lot (Kelsey’s, Montana ...) this theatre is also very big and they play all the movies they have downtown. The service is great and fast. The VIP arrive 20min. Wrote show time of you would like to order food to your seat. The wuality of the food is great. Love the burgers and the quinoa bowl. Would highly recommend this location. Enjoy the show

The VIP thankfully is a licensed bar so the current lockdown protocol for no food or drink in the theatre was not as painful… Painful was the matrix resurrections. Very very shameful production to blemish the once beautiful dream work of the matrix. GARBAGE FLICK!!!

The regular rooms are same as standard theatre although one of the seats we had was broken and forever leaning back. I've heard the VIP theatres are really nice and quite expensive. Really big parking and pleanty of restaurants around the plaza if you don't want to spend so much on popcorn and such. I'll have to give them ago and update my review when I do.

Second time going to this location, seats were comfortable and staff is attentive. Nice that you can order from your seat during the previews. The menus seemed dirty and sticky not worth touching if you’re having food. Otherwise a great experience.

Worth the commute from downtown to go to this cinema just of the highway as I find it much cleaner than the downtown ciniplex theathers. Lots of parking and theaters so always a good selection to pick from, usually staffed well so usually quick to get consessions.

I liked the experience, this has been my first time back since the start of the pandemic. Movie popcorn and drinks were great. Missed the experience and definitely took it for granted, staff were helpful, and facilities were relatively clean. If I had to nitpick; the screen had a small tear or something and was a little bit distracting. Also garbage was overflowing after the movie finished due to lack of receptacles however that can be fixed by moving existing ones. Overall pretty good, would come back again.

Its our go to. Parking can be tricky on the weekend nights. We always do the VIP now as a couple and its great to be able to reserve a seat and pre order stuff. If u choose to eat at their restaurant area, be very early. The service is slow. Most food and bev is too expensive for what u get. But a good movie venue.

I love this theatre for the VIP section. It’s off the main theatre entrance and has a huge restaurant you can eat at before your movie or you can eat at your seat like regular. The main theatre is good too I just find it a bit busy and crowded sometimes.

Terrible Customer Service At Cineplex Queensway VIP It’s May 19, 2016 at about 12:30am and I just finished watching a movie at this theatre with my husband and a couple of friends. It was a rare night out as for us as we all had small children, and arranging to have babysitters for late night outs can be difficult. We spent over $150 in the theatre for VIP tickets, food, and drinks. However the whole movie, my husband was waiting for his drink and it never came. After the movie we went to the concession and told a worker that the drink (which is priced at $10.50) was never delivered. The worker left us for about 5 minutes and another worker came back to tell us that they cannot give us a refund as they are closed but they can give us a $25 voucher which is more than our $10.50 drink. Our friend asked if they could give us 2 vouchers instead so that we can at least be able to enjoy as a couple. But the worker said that he can’t make that decision as he is just the mouthpiece and not the manager. So I asked for the manager and my friend asked him to see what he can do. He left us again for another 5 minutes and returned by himself saying that they were able to open their cash box and refund us the $10.50. He handed the $10.50 to my husband and said that they hope for us to return to the theatre. To which my husband replied, “Not likely.” We were baffled at the low level of customer service, which is supposed to be a VIP experience. Not only did they take back the $25 voucher that they offered at first and only refund us the price of the drink, but they never apologized for the inconvenience for not delivering the drink, they didn’t refund the tax we paid for the drink, and the manager never bothered to show up to talk to us. Extremely disappointing. Our friends and I could not help but continue to talk about how frustrated we felt about the terrible service.

I found out that they are starting to sell popcorn for pickup. This is a game changer and I’m so happy to see this. OMG life is much better with Cineplex popcorn.

Went to see Avengers this evening in VIP, the experience was great until a server (who must’ve not realized, as they walked away) spilt an entire ramekin of ketchup all over me. In my hair, my clothes, military jacket, and a bit onto the person I was with. This alone is worthy of a one star review. When I went to speak to someone, the professionalism and courtesy I received from the staff and manager was absolutely out of this world amazing. Multiple staff members offered to help me clean my clothes and my hair, brought me paper towels and rags, went to get the person I was with, and took care of everything. Apologized profusely, refunded us, courtesy tickets, free meal, and offered to take care of my dry cleaning. We are so excited to return in a few days to actually see the movie and thank the staff again.

Love this theatre. Super clean and spacious. Always friendly service. The X screen is AMAZING, love the separate VIP side. Washrooms in the original theatre side could use a bit of renovating/deep cleaning, otherwise this place is my fave theatre!

Easy to park, well... unless theres a new movie is on and weekend then it is packed. But the location is clean, seats are bigger and comfy. Suggestion is to have recliner seat though.

An amazing and state of the art theatre boasting all the features you can expect from peak Cineplex performance. IMAX, AVX, DBox, VIP and regular theatres are all available, as well as the usual tasty concession shop. Additionally there’s several other restaurants and cafes inside including a Tims (☕️????) and an arcade as well. Always a great time at the movies here, probably the hardest part of COVID was staying away. But it looks like cinema is back in full swing and it’s great to see!

This review was written around Mar 2019. The update (below) was written 2019-11-02. This is a very large theatre with an equally large parking lot. I've seen movies here a few times over the years. It is conveniently located near Gardiner Expressway and Islington. There are a few restaurants across the parking lot for meals before/after the movie. They have self-service ticket kiosks, several food vendors, a full arcade, etc. They have all the theatre types like 3D, VIP, Dolby ATMOS, Ultra AVX and D-BOX. The theatres and washrooms are clean. There is a Ti mePlay WiFi to allow for contests before a movie begins. Since the movie ticket checking isn't done after you buy concessions, you could always come to the arcade and concessions without seeing a movie. They can also rent out a theatre for corporate events or seminars during the daytime. Cineplex can provide a separate WiFi connection for the event. Update 2019-11-02. At the Entrance, there are now 4 very large touch-screen where you can play the game "Breakout" for free. I was here for a corporate event again. It was held in their theatre 1 which is their big Ultra AVX theatre. The temperature outside was around 8C and drizzle. Unfortunately inside the theatre it was slightly cold. I had to where a coat and thin gloves. I hope the other theatres were warmer. The audio (via a microphone) was bad in that the person spoke (which you can hear if sitting close enough) and then the sound comes out of the large speakers behind the screen one second later! Yes the AVX theatre had ver comfortable leather seats that can recline.ĺ

Went to the VIP, which is the only way I'll see movies now. Decent lounge area, great food options (for a theatre) but I'd love to have some craft beers available. Definitely love being served at my seat and enjoying an adult beverage with the movie. Not to mention, no kids allowed!

Ok let me see where to start well let’s start with parking - lots available but if it’s a popular movie then good luck!! Price is $25 a seat for VIP but super worth it, reclining seats similar to a lazy boy chair, one truly feels exclusive when enjoying VIP. Seats are setup in pairs so if your company is made up of three, well it’s going to be super awkward sitting beside a random. As always popcorn and drink are served or you can buy and bring your own, along with the basics they have a menu that serves decent food and also Alcoholic beverages They do have valet service available but not needed during summer shows in my opinion. If you haven’t been I do suggest to make this trip and enjoy the VIP. We spent $100 that’s with tickets, popcorn and drinks.

The VIP experience is amazing and the ticket pricing is definitely up there for tickets (on non Tuesdays of course), however the food costs are crazy as usual. A small soft drink and small popcorn is about $15. Would definitely recommend going, especially on a date night as there aren't under agers making noise and the crowd is more mature and upscale. I just don't recommend ever getting food due to the pricing of snacks being more than a ticket to watch the movie.

We had a bad experience at this theater. I went here two weeks ago to auditorium 7 and the floor was really sticky. I went back again today and not only was the floor still sticky in auditorium 7 but the seats were disgusting. I went to sit down and I saw that the seats were sticky and there was guck. The cleaning staff was unavailable to come and clean the seat so I tried as best as I can to clean them. This particular auditorium needs a good scrubbing with dome bleach. And a power wash would probably help the floors lol. Also the technical difficulties during the previews when they were playing Sonic the hedgehog and a couple other previews. The screen shut off a few times and the lights went on. The audience got a bit of a chuckle but after awhile it was like this theater is ghetto.

Great local theatre to go to any day of the week. It's always clean and the staff are all super helpful and incredible. Only thing that kind of bugs me is in the VIP Theatre. You're paying top dollar for venue but when you have staff cutting across you every 10-15 minutes during a movie to either pick up the dishes or deliver food to a client because they were late on ordering it kind of gets annoying. Another thing i would suggest is to also alter the VIP Menu's. I was there last night with my wife and she had ordered the chicken fingers with fries and I ordered the crispy chicken tacos....which were literally the chicken fingers my wife ordered inside a taco shell. If I wanted chicken fingers then I would've ordered chicken fingers. Overall great experience and I would definitely go back just maybe not to the VIP as it doesn't seem like its quite worth it anymore.

Extremely comfortable and spacious! The service to your seat is pretty great too - we didnt order anything to eat or drink (ordering a pitcher of sangria would work out for best value in terms of alcohol) but browsed the menu and witnessed others ordering food and drink and it all looked very good and the staff were amazing, very polite, friendly and helpful. A really fun experience for a date I would say!

I had no problems with the movie, my complaint is with the theatre not cutting off VIP service or refusing entry to those who come late. If you're paying for VIP seats, I would hope that you wouldn't allow movie disruptions at the very start of a movie and 25 minutes in. If I showed up late to a VIP movie, I would turn around and go home and try harder next time because the others who paid to be there and showed up on time don't deserve to disturbed by your tardiness. Please change your rules or be a little more strict about after movie previews entrance. Also, reclining seats or even foot rests would make the experience more catered to VIP price. There's so reclining seats, foot rests, heated seats or extra comfort really. The tables you are provided are fixated, the seats go back ever so slightly but don't stay back, you have to really push them back and then they pop back up. They do offer menu access and bar access. Please drink responsibly to avoid throwing up outside or inside the theatre like we witnessed during our last visit. There is no access to the main theatre from the inside, you have to go outside. Movie seemed to be cut off in some places or not placed properly on the projection screen. Nachos were GOOOOOD. Not stale at all. If you want comfort and the real VIP experience, go to Vaughn VIP.

I'm not happy when other guests in the audience leave their garbage on the floor and on the seat. It makes extra work for the staff, and while there are people designated to clean the theatre between shows, guests Still have a responsibility for their own space. Otherwise, it's a decent theatre.

DO IT!!! if you haven't...do it! No you cant get combos in your seat but it is soooooo worth it! Those seats are deadly comfortable and i LOVE the at your seat service!!! the only thing that could make it better is if you could secretly have stuff delivered during the movie lol. The seats are very roomy and I am a larger girls. The seats are broken into sets of two, so if you are a third wheel prepare to sit with a stranger. Its a must if you want to see a movie opening night!

Bought tickets to avengers fan night to get coin. Was told website was down first week and only available to 5pm. Never sent an email or anything. Girl at desk was going to allow the coin that was suppose to be included. But the manager being very rude said it wasn't available even though i bought the tickets shown as event. The place is nice. When dining in the VIP area the staff did not ask if I have a scene card which allows you to collect points. In the theater they did ask. I pointed this out to the person in the theater but they couldn't do anything. Spent a lot in the lounge with no points from there. Wasn't aware you could collect inside VIP.

My favourite cineplex in Toronto. Well kept, clean and staff are friendly. Good job! Dropped it to four stars. They repeatedly have not been keeping their washroom clean. Dropped it to three stars. April 2018 VIP, unsure the seat but we sat near the back to the right. Seat table would not pull open, was stuck and employees and managers could not open it. All I got in the end was a free appetizer coupon. For a place that is “VIP” I didn’t feel really VIP.

I had no idea VIP was even a thing until tonight as no theatre I'd ever been to had it. PLEASE expand your VIP locations! I am entirely satisfied. The seats are actually comfortable. There are usable side tables. Everything is clean. There are options for ordering actual food and alcoholic beverages, although at truly exorbitant prices - thankfully, friend was paying with Scene points, but oh my great googly moogly. If you were paying with actual money, it would cost you $70 before tax for a wrap, a poutine, a burger (with a caesar side salad), a medium popcorn with butter and a flavour packet, and two non-alcoholic drinks. They were very tasty and well-made, however, and delivered with a smile, so our compliments to the staff. There were no children. This sounds harsh, especially since we saw Frozen II, arguably a kid's movie, but I have bad anxiety and my friend is on the spectrum. As I'm sure everyone knows, kids can be VERY overwhelming sometimes. It was a godsend just to have the option to watch a movie in an actual theatre instead of at home without having to budget energy for combatting sensory overload. If the movie volume were a little bit lower, it would've been perfect, as far as I'm concerned. Everything VIP is is what I want in a moviegoing experience. Your app needs work, though. ????

Very conveniently located off of the Gardiner Expressway. Don't have to pay for parking like downtown. Easy access. Staff is, for the most part, on the ball and are always friendly. We have had some delayed food and wrong food instances more than a few times (that's why 3 stars and not 4). Seats are not electronic and yes, the food is generally good AND not the cheapest. We enjoy the specials on the menu to change it up a bit.

The VIP theatre is a nice experience to do once and awhile. The pros: • Larger and more comfortable seats • Not crammed in and with space to walk through the aisles • VIP 19+ so no kids • And of course being able to order food to your seat The cons: • Pricey (regular ticket is $20, small popcorn over $10) • Service can be hit or miss • Screen is nothing special We've gone a couple of times and have found the service just okay. It can be challenging to get the attention of a server to take your order. Last night, I ordered a small popcorn with layered butter + tip it came to over $10... and when I finally received it, it was cold! That was very disappointing. It had taken a long time for my simple order to arrive and the movie had already started, so I didn't want to get up to ask for fresh popcorn and miss the movie at that point. While it is nice that the theatres are smaller, under 150 seats, the screen also seems a bit smaller and nothing special compared to the top screens at other Cineplex theatres. Also note that the washrooms are individual washrooms (toilet + sink) in closed door and they are non gender specific. They're nicer than cubicles and are usually fairly clean, so no complaints there. I wouldn't go here unless it's Tuesday (cheap) night and I think next time I'll order my popcorn before going in to the theatre to make sure it's still warm.

I’ve been here a few times for the VIP experience and it was less than ideal. I’m waiting 15-20 minutes to place my order while those seated after us got consistent service. While I understand there is a whole theatre to service, the servers watched us as we seated ourselves and made the decision to ignore. At this point it’s probably worth just waiting for the movie to come out on Blu-Ray and serve myself.

The only reason I gave it a 4 star is they didn't have the Nachos available ???? but I'll be honest if they make vaccine passport mandatory I won't be surprised if people will go back 2 watching movies at home.

Very nice first experience, servers come to you at the wave of your hand, seats are big and comfortable and easy to eat in. The entire venue is elegant and very upscale, with a bar at the front and live music. Best part is a mature crowd while you're watching the movie. There's about 20 private washrooms for both men/women and accessible, which is neat, but after the movie there was a lineup, which ruined the experience slightly. Also the staff asked for my scene card which I appreciated or else I would of forgot and missed out on the points.

Parking was horrible. They block off spots that could be wheelchair spots for valet parking. VIP seats don't recline. Servers are so rushed they tripped on my cane that ended up hitting me in the face. Gift card didn't work from their system. Didn't help me just told me to speak to customer service. Great experience! Our party had to seperate because it's reserved seating and by 11am that morning most spots were already reserved. Note: reserve as early as possible!! We arrived when the previews started, so we had to order our beverages at the counter because seat service was over. Make sure you arrive a half hour before the movie so that you can enjoy the seat service!! Overall, it was pretty cool :).

My favourite VIP cinema. It's a separate part of the building with their own little parking lot. It's always clean, bathrooms are clean and the food/beverage options are great. There are 5 or 6 VIP theatres at this location, so always a few options. The restaurant area is nice, too, and last time I visited I noticed they had live music.

A friend and I saw Star Wars Ep 7 the week it opened. Got there early and ordered a draft beer which we got to take with us once the VIP doors opened. The extremely comfortable reclining seating with cup holders and food tray is amazing. The Staff is well-dressed, courteous and knowledgeable. Being able to watch and enjoy a film with other 18+ adults really makes a difference. All in, well worth the ticket price and I'll always go VIP from here on.

A very solid theatre. I really enjoy going to the VIP branch, as the seats are enormous and comfortable. Nice leather patting's with an extendable plating for those who need to rest their drinks and or meals on top. The food is a bit pricey, but the quality is very great, as it's an actual restaurant-like menu, where the staff come to you to purchase the meal of your choosing. Washrooms are great and clean, and they even have individual washrooms. However, there's no common public washroom. It's, like I said, individualized and so if there's a line, you're going to have to wait in it. However, the pros outweigh the cons and there's also acholic beverages, too. Amazing theatre!

Love the VIP experience. It's the only way to watch a movie. It's a little....ok.....A lot expensive but totally worth it. Stay after and have dinner or heck, eat in the theatre. The menu is really good and on par with upscale pub pricing. Comfy seats. Each 2 seats are separated from the next 2 so it's intimate. Lots and lots of leg room so your seat never gets kicked. Staff and servers are awesome and friendly. We will never see a movie in a normal theatre again. Take note that the rooms are smaller and the screen is a little smaller. But that's what makes it more intimate.

It's large and clean. Lots of different options for food - including Frozen Yogurt, which baffled me! But hey, it turned out quite tasty, I must say. The theatre going experience was terrific. Picture clear screens, plus comfortable seating. The audio could be turned up a notch, but I understand why they don't do that as much any more. However, I think it really helps with the immersion. With that said, top notch experience. Hint - Buy your tickets ahead of time with the app, then use the code provided to pick them up quickly on arrival at a kiosk. Saves you time!

Stars and Strollers!! As a new mother I was looking for things to do and when I heard about the Stars and Strollers I decided to give it a shot. I was so pleased that it has become our weekly “date”. They have a changing table right at the door of the movie room so if need be, you don’t need to go all the way to the washroom to change your little one. I have not seen the bottle warmer as mentioned on the site but that’s just a detail. The sound is much lower (which I love because I always find it too loud anyways) the lights are dimmed but not all out. It makes it easy to take care of your baby. I’ve never had any issues with loud babies but when a baby is crying for a second or two before they get fed no one complains because we’re all in the same boat... I love it and we’ll be there next week and the next and the next!!

The cinema is huge. The staff are welcoming. It is very clean. The food options are great, including a little Timmies inside. The screens are great, rooms are huge, not worth the price cinemas charge, but in context, a really good cinema. It is the biggest cinema I’ve come across. As a Cineplex theater, many of the things you've come to expect from the brand ring true here as well. They've recently finished construction on the VIP cinemas - good every now and then for a more special viewing experience. If you fancy a drink or more elevated meal before your show, the VIP section also serves in bar/restaurant style to those of age. That's not to ignore the good restaurants very close by for a pre-show meal. No complaints about this location!

They're also on the ball and in all of the times we've attended movies the in-seat service has been solid. As to food, the pulled pork sandwich, Caesar salad, nachos, margherita pizza and tacos are excellent. Good portions and the prices really aren't bad when you consider what you'd pay for the same level of food at a restaurant.

This was the first time using VIP and I was not amused. The person that took our tickets was not friendly did not have a smile on there face at all. They scanned the tickets and just told us where to go. Decided to get some snacks for our movie and our course the drink was mostly ice and popcorn was cold. I'm sorry but for the price you pay for tickets I would expect to at least have warm popcorn. Also if you ask for butter and your charged for it, it would be nice if you actually put enough on the popcorn that you can taste it. Now we get to the seats. Everyone talks about how great the seats are. I really don't see why. The seat was sticky from someone spilling something and not being cleaned properly and the little slide out table couldn't even be slid out. It was broken on my seat and had so much stuff stuck to my friends that you couldn't hardly move it. I really don't see why this is called VIP. I couldn't of sat in a sticky seat with broken parts in the non-vip area for cheaper. At least my popcorn had a chance of being warm and would of had friendlier service.

Awful experience!! New c-19 regulations are absolutely ridiculous. Be aware that they are currently not serving any concessions and you are not allowed to eat/drink in the theater whatsoever. The staff kept coming in and going up and down the aisles disrupting the show and confiscating water bottles. Everyone had to sit there for nearly 3 hours without anything to drink. Extremely unreasonable and it ruined the entire experience. Had I known they had banned the sale and consumption of food/drink I wouldn’t have wasted my money. Those who are afraid should stay home. Cineplex should add an advisory before purchasing tickets clearly informing patrons that food and refreshments will not be offered so people can plan to eat/drink beforehand. What a ripoff

Nice theatre, pretty good place as far as movie theatres go. The staff is very friendly, they provide excellent service, and work tirelessly to make sure that the demands of the customer are met. However, washrooms are a different story. I've seen some mighty fine washrooms in my day. However, the washrooms here smell like urine, like my nostrils happened to be brutally dominated. Not just because it's a washroom, but it's almost as if urine happened to be trickling down the walls and amassing as a small, sad pool of liquid in the corner. Not a bad place to watch a movie, totally recommend.

It's not just the Dbox or other luxury facilities; the 'ordinary' theatres and food, though 'normally-priced' for a theatre, are, frankly, excellent. Food served at the VIP screen was just so so. The comfy VIP seats unfortunately don't recline much. Also don't like the seats are in pairs. So, if you go by yourself or your group in odd number, you might find yourself sitting with someone closer than you expect in a VIP seat.

Bathrooms could use up keeping through out the movie however, they were very clean to start but most bathrooms were trashed by the end of the movie with everyone exiting (not the cinemas fault it’s people just being dirty) but could use more staff on to keep the bathrooms clean through the night and more staff to take orders before the movie starts. Unfortunately on our first trip back after reopening due to Civid, they took no care whatsoever in enforcement of the selected social distancing of seats. While you have to book online and are not allowed to have occupied seats anywhere near you, some teens came in and sat directly behind us. I told an employee and he shrugged it off saying he'd tell his manager, but no manager ever came.

It was an experience. We ordered a lot of food and the tiny table they had was not big enough to accommodate what we ordered. I didn't like the fact that you had to order all your food at once and receive them all at once too. I wanted dessert but no room on that tiny arm rest. They don't serve you during the movie. I understand they don't want to disturb anyone while the movie is in progress but maybe implement a service to be able to call on the attendants when we need to place an order, or an app on your cell phone. Other than that, the seats were nice and lots of leg room. I would not use this service again, $25 for a ticket is pretty steep. I would rather eat else where and be served and then come to see a movie.

I am at this theater at least once every 2 weeks Auditoriums are comfortable and clean. Only issue with this place is that the washrooms are filthy and outdated. As for the VIP, i found the auditoriums really nice as well and i also like the private washrooms. The one thing that they should improve on with VIP would be the order they serve their in seated customers. There was this one time were i was the first person in the auditorium and i was served last which was completely unfair...

I go to this theater all the time with my older brother. It became our go to spot when I became 19. We love going to the VIP section and getting food and a drink before watching a movie. The staff are always super friendly and the place is always clean. I recently took my parents there to show them why my brother and me love the VIP and they fell in love with it too. Went to VIP. I've been to other VIP theaters. This was not VIP. Sat by the bar waiting for my movie to start, was approached but it seemed more like they wanted me to get service in the theater rather than sit in the lounge. The interest wasn't if I wanted anything to eat or drink. My movie didn't start for at least 1hr, so I was just waiting for the staff to clean the theater. When I got into the theater because I was so early I was the only one there. Staff did see me. Did not approach me. Once the theater began to fill up, they approached everyone else BUT me. I was the first in the theater and the VERY LAST to receive service. I had to wave them to me. I was given the excuse that they were very busy that night. Keep in mind at the start I was the only one in the theater. Have to use the bar code scanner to get the menu. Unfortunately they opted to remove the physical menu as COVID protocol. My QT reader wasn't bringing up the code perhaps because of lighting. I asked for things like truffle fries. Sorry we don't have it. Asked for other things on the menu. Sorry don't have it either. The truth is truffle fries are fries, if you are missing an ingredient like truffle oil, offer something similar. You still have fries. The VIP wasn't very special here. It's certainly not worth the premium price I paid to watch the movie.

this theatre offers a number of different showings, and the food selections are pretty good. There are number of automated ticket machines so there's never a real line or wait to get in, and the arcade is great for small children. if you are looking for the VIP experience that is here as well, although it's in a separate building that you have to go outside to connect to. The parking lot is huge, so there's never a fear of not having a place to park while you're in the movie.

I love this Cineplex, not very crowded even during movies like Infinity Wars. Though not a fan of Tim Hortons, I still like the option being available at the same price as any other Tim. So, you don't have to spend a fortune on junk food at the Cineplex. They have some play zones. Professional staff, very courteous, parking is easy, nothing possibly went wrong for me, so far.

I find these theaters are all the same. If you dont use the self check machine to get tickets, be prepared to wait in a massive line that seems to never move. This is my reason for the poor review as the theater itself is decent, but the concession stand lineups take at least 30mins to get anything. Bring your patience to this theater.

This place was absolutely incredible! It was a last minute stop to check out, “Once upon a time in Hollywood”. My wife ended up grabbing tickets for the VIP experience and we were starving, so we ordered dinner, drinks and dessert. The food was served right to our chairs and it was amazing. We had the truffle fries, chicken tacos, quesadilla, and a Cesar for my wife and two fruity cocktails for me. The movie was alright. The seats were not as comfy as I would have thought. The ones at Landmark cinemas are WAAAAYYYY better(reclining). For the price, I would definitely say an upgrade in seats is needed.

Visited this past Saturday! Service at the concession was a little slow, but definitely understandable as it was their first day open to the public. Staff is doing their best,so please be patient. Glad to see human employees rather than machines entirely compared to other locations. I was looking forward to my usual treat, frozen yogurt at Melt, however sad to see that it was still closed. Tim Hortons is also sadly no longer there. VIP experience at this location - do not recommend!!! 1. Service is terrible. 40 minutes wondering where your drink is, very distracting when trying to enjoy a movie. 2. Seats do not recline fully, you have to physically use your strength to hold the recliners back... and there are no leg rests like other VIP cinemas in Toronto. 3. Do not waste the extra money... the normal cinema is not much different in fact better, because at least you save money AND you don’t have to wait almost an hour for an alcoholic beverage.

Table service in the theatre up until the movie starts, beer and cocktails, elaborate snacks or simple meals while watching the movie. The pizza is great, although make sure you can eat in the dark. I come here often with my husband. Once you start going over to the VIP area it’s hard to go back to the regular theatres haha. The seats are very comfy in VIP and they have a great assortment of food and drinks you can order to your seat. I was here to watch a movie a last minute plan that worked, they have showed almost 15-20 mins of advertisements and that was just annoying but the visual and sound effects is great. The cineplex is clean and tidy l, they need vaccination id at the entry which is perfect . They also have good cafeteria inside to pick from and they also provide on seat delivery for the food . They have clean and tidy washrooms and there is mandatory covid 19 protocol takin.

This visit was not the best. But it WAS valentine's day and 50 Shades Freed was in 4 threatres. We bought the dinner and a movie so we choose from the price fix menu. We were informed the food would be 30 minutes at least. When we didn't have our food in 45 minutes we spoke to our server. She informed us that she didn't know when our food would arrive. So, we spoke to the manager. We expressed our concerns. We were satisfied with the outcome. But I would not advise a big date day with a new movie in 4 theatres. Otherwise the VIP theatres are excellent. This was an issue of volume. They need to address this or withdraw the food service at such times.

Went to see BTS in screen x, drove an hour to this theatre just for that experience. Sadly screen x wasn't working. Cineplex offered everyone there a free admission ticket. The placement of the screen/seats is superior to regular theatres, no craning my neck. However those seats got uncomfortable after first hour, too stiff, and I was surprised it's not as roomy as I thought it'd be. Also it got really cold in there, I was wearing a sweater but I needed a coat. The movie was incredible. I just wish I knew before I left about screen x because I would have got a refund and went to a closer theatre. Theatre was clean but didn't look 'new' which I thought it was when I read the price to create said room.

This is probably one of the best Cineplexs I have been to. It's right by Yonge Dundas, so it's very convenient to get to. They have nice comfortable arm chairs (seem better than other Cineplexs to me). It is a bit small as it's a small theatre in downtown, but they have many cinema halls inside and is one of my favourites.

Once i was sold the wrong tickets at the counter though. The VIP side is really awesome! Professional service. This was my first time in the Queensway VIP cinema. I thought it was very beautiful the leather seats were nice and comfy the only thing I didn't like was the little side attached to the chair made it cumbersome to eat and drink anything. They were hard to pull out and when you were eating the drink was farther away from the food. I liked the feet space between the chairs. We weren't hitting anyone or making people stand up to get by them. The food was pricey my daughter ordered a cheese cake it was $9 and so small I asked her where the rest of the cake was? The washrooms are confusing I was looking for a ladies room but the washrooms are for both men and women. You are looking around seeing a blue line on the floor to direct you to them. They are clean and big inside. Overall I'd go back using my scene card of course but in comparison to the regular cinemas I can only say the leather chairs are nice.

We like this cinema with it's comfy seats and is very easy for my quadriplegic son to park. Surprisingly, the Accessible Bathroom is not completely Accessible. There is no lock BUTTON on the inside of the bathroom, so he cannot lock it. He has no use of his hands. After 2 people without physical disabilities opened the door, I stood guard. Just one little thing makes a huge difference in his world.

I have a love hate relationship with this theatre. On one hand when I've had any major issues once I track down a manager they resolve it quickly. (Issue I had was someone at a previous viewing spilt an entire cup of sticky drink on the floor infront of our seats.) The staff seem to be trying to keep up but they seem to be understaffed because of this I would say the place could be cleaner.

The service was not very good especially since it's VIP. We arrived early and went to the bar for a drink, the waiter suggested we just wait until we were seated in the theater then said to let him know if/when we were ready to order and disappeared. Ultimately, we gave up and went to our seats. We ordered pizza and cocktails from there. The pizza arrived (good but overcooked) and we ate all of it before one of the drinks we'd ordered arrived. About 2/3 the way through the movie, I had to go and ask them to bring the other cocktail we ordered which they did but, by then, my friend didn't have time to finish it.

I asked in advance if my family can come earlier than start time to set up, but there was no one who could confirm which of the 2 party rooms we were assigned to. Party Host came 10 mins after start time explaining all the details to me when our guests were arriving and parents not able to talk me before leaving their children. A party host should be in or at least near the room for assistance. I needed to look for any of the staff outside the room and ask to call her. When taking 20 children from the party room to the auditorium, movie trays with a drink and popcorn were distributed to the kids outside our room and had to walk slowly to the auditorium which was on the other wing. And of course just before handing out the trays, host insisted I pay first. Such a bad and stressful experience.

I really enjoy the VIP experience . The seats are more comfortable and personal space is built in to each one. Service comes right to your seat. Better food and drink options as well. It is worth the extra money to me. The main theatres have a Tim Hortons and frozen yogurt ( expensive but good for a treat) . I noticed it has gone down to one or two real people cashier's and blatantly put in about 10 do it yourself kiosks,yet another example of a business cutting back on staff for the almighty dollar. I want that people to people experience and it saddens me to see a cut like this. My only other issue is with rude patrons who can't shut up during a movie but this can only be dealt with by the theatre so much and it's not a fault of theirs it's the patrons who have no etiquette. I do not find that this occurs in the VIP side as much and definitely not by the time the movie starts. In general the theatre was pretty clean as were the bathrooms and the staff were polite and helpful.

One of the best movie theaters in town. Unfortunately they don't have IMAX yet, only 3D AVX. They prices for food are expensive as expected, but they serve alcohol (wine and beer). They also have a separate VIP theatre where you get waiters and a much more comfortable chair.

Saw a couple of movies at this theater when we visited. I love this place. Its different than the theaters in the US. There is a fun game you can play with your phone before the movie starts, there is a variety of food you can buy (not just popcorn and soda). There is a Tim Hortons in there, an ice-cream place called MELT (I thinks its called) and another place. There is a game room and all sorts of fun things to do here outside of the movie.

Overall the best theatre in Toronto. Convenient for anyone living in the west end, clean theatre, wide variety of food/beverage selection both within and nearby the theatre. I cannot confirm about both AVX auditoriums but AVX auditorium #1 has d-box seating in the second-to-last and third-to-last rows (I believe K and J respectively) and although they are not turned 'on' when viewing a regular film, they aren't very comfortable as they don't recline at all and are fairly stiff. Overall though if you're considering this theatre or another one, pick this one because its the best.

This theatre is the best. IMAX and AVX versions often of the same movie. D-Box and VIP and 3D options are all available. Now they sell alcohol in the theatre which is nice. The service is fast, friendly and efficient too. There is an arcade and Tim Horton's and plenty of options for food too. I like the location right off of the hwy too.

Went to the VIP tonight. Overall not worth the money whatsoever. 2 drinks and cheap dinners ended up being $100. Both of our food was cold. I understand it's a theater and I'm not going to get fine dining but I feel like I should expect more then the trash that we ate tonight for $100. It's safe to say I wouldnt ever go back.

Great service. The person sitting in the seat next to me accidentally spilled my full beer onto my lap/seat and floor. Accidents happen. The staff were quick with extra napkins and replaced my beer at no charge. The manager even came down to make sure we were taken care of. He had the aisle mopped and cleaned. Very attentive staff.

Ever since we tried the VIP theatre (adults only, 19+), there's no going back! We love that you can pre-select your seats and have in-seat food & drink service (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available)! Not to mention, the seats are pretty comfy. Staff is very friendly and quick. Full kudos to them for providing consistent top notch service time after time. Only giving 4 stars because this theatre does not have the extending footrests like some of the other VIP theatres do. Hopefully they will be upgraded soon. Still a great theatre and experience though. Definitely worth it!

It's the neighborhood theater. This one has a VIP that has a separate entrance from the outside and the menu is actually pretty good. Tuesday is Taco and Margarita days (5$ taco and 10$ margarita) so yes it may be a little on the pricier side, but worth it. The poutine is the best thing to get there though. Its clean, and well kept inside.

Good place to see a movie. It can get really busy during prime time (or cheap Tuesdays) but that is to be expected. Huge parking lot. Facilities within the theatre are kept clean and up to date (new arcade). There is also a VIP section of the theatre and while I have yet to experience VIP it looks great and I am glad I have it as an option.

Good facility and good staff. However, you cannot contact this location by phone. The phone number listed connects you with an automated menu directing you to FAQs. They then provide a number to call directly to speak to customer service (which is crazy that it doesn't transfer you directly, Cineplex is a multi-billion company, they should have better technology of this nature). When you call the customer service number provided, you get an automated message that the telephone number is not equipped to receive incoming messages, only to place outgoing. So... why is that number available in the directory? And how can we get in touch with staff? Backstory: I lost my credit card at the theater, and I know it was found. I would like to get in touch with customer service to retrieve it. It is unacceptable that there is zero means of contact to this specific location.

It's a very big movie theater with more screens than any other theater I've been too. Lots of parking, with milestones, Kelsey's, Montana's just across from theater. We had movie tickets so not sure of price to get in. People who work there are very helpful and nice. Very clean in the theater. Didn't find the seats as comfortable as the oakville theater. Prices for drinks were expensive. Didn't have any food or candy so don't know the prices for them. You should check it out & see what you think.

I would've gave them 5 stars except the first time we've been their since the pandemic (to see Disney's Encanto) was not a great experience. - 10mins until our movie & 1 person ahead in line - 3 staff members - 1 cash register open - By the time I order pop corn, our movie is starting. - All 3 pumps for applying butter are broken. - 9 more minutes to get the butter working - not a big deal, but could've gone smoother Realistically, I can see that happening for the very first movie of the day. But they were already open for nearly 4hrs. The machines should've been cleaned/inspected. Don't know if that's staff not keeping up with duties &/or managers not checking up. The seats and theater were fine. - not a lot of ppl - all ppl were spaced out (luckily) - pretty clean too

VIP is terrible. We went to the VIP section as we were hoping for a better experience than the regular theatres, but relative to the price, VIP is much worse. The movie started half an hour late. The kitchen messed up our order, then the waitress messed up our order. The food selection is worse than the regular theatre section. Unless you just want popcorn and pop, you must order through the app or by one of the servers roaming the theatre. They have mostly high-end pub food and various alcohol (no Tim's, no brand-name pizza, no yogurt/ice cream on this side). A server took our order but a different server delivered the food. The kitchen messed up our order. We had an order of fish and chips with poutine instead of fries, and chicken tenders with fries. The kitchen put the fish with regular fries and the chicken with the poutine. Then the server messed up by thinking the fish was chicken and the chicken was fish. We told her that she mixed up the dishes and the fries were also mixed up. Instead of doing anything at all she just stood there for an uncomfortable silence not doing anything, it was as if she had never served food before. It took quite a bit more nudging to get her to at least use her hands to give the fish to the right person and the chicken to the right person, (instead of having us walk all the way down the aisle to do her job for her). The movie was supposed to start at 4pm but the projectionist didn't even come into the theatre until 4:26pm, the movie started a few minutes later. It's really ridiculous to have people waiting half an hour in front of a blank screen wondering when the movie will start. In general the seats are a bit wider and comfortable than regular but the unmovable trays you eat on are uncomfortable and on the side facing someone you may not know. One side of the seat has a raisable armrest which presumably is how couples would sit, but on the other side is the unmovable tray facing another person's unmovable tray, so basically you would be eating facing a complete stranger. They could have at least made the tray movable as a swing towards you so you don't have to lean over your side to eat which is not good for digestion.

pretty solid theatre; good selection of showings and excellent covid protocols. staff is always helpful and friendly, haven’t had a bad experience here once, and i’m here multiple times a month. a few things to note- the AC here is always freezing, so bring a sweater or blanket if you’re as sensitive to the cold as I am. also for any fellow film buffs, springing for IMAX is usually worth it, as a lot of dark imagery gets completely muddled in the regular theatres. just watched the green knight in a regular theatre and could barely see half the film. sound leakage from other theatres is a common issue as well. this is pretty common with any blockbuster theatre as a whole, and isn’t unique to queensway, just wanted to mention it for anyone who may be choosing between a regular showing vs a premium one.

I went here with my friends to watch Avengers End game which I thoroughly enjoyed because even though the theater was packed theres more than enough space and the chairs are incredibly comfortable. My favourite part is that you have a pull out table and have up till the credits roll to order food which is brought right to your chair! The thing that impressed me the most is the quality of the food because you go in expecting movie food but you get restaurant quality food. Overall I recommend this for a date spot or for a movie that's highly anticipated like the Avengers

Great theater has about 4 VIP rooms and 12 regular rooms. Big concession and gaming area. It had a small Tim Hortons inside and an icecream shop. I wish they had the self refilling soda machines like other theaters. They do not offer refills. Most rooms are big and it can also host birthday parties. Most staff is friendly and attentive.

I would like to think that I am a frequent movie-goer and Cineplex usually is my go-to theater. I bought tickets for Frozen II on Saturday at this location since I would be nearby. Unfortunately, this was my worse Cineplex experience. I mean, I have never sat next to a "Caution Wet" sign before but, this time, I had to for the entire duration of the movie. If it was not for the gentleman next to me who was kind enough to pull it closer to his space, it would have been unbearable. I understand that it was Saturday and it was Frozen II with more than half of the auditorium filled with children, but I know, for a fact, that there is enough time between movies to move it. Please do so next time. PS - Frozen II was funtastic.

I came here before and watched a movie in VIP and it was fine with buttons to adjust the seats. However, just last week I came here and watched a new movie in VIP and the seats were horrible. There were no buttons to recline the seats and it was very hot and stuffy in there. You're supposedly supposed to push off the floor or the chair in front of you to lean back in the seats. Sadly not going to come back.

The complex is quite large, offering several movie alternatives. The shows themselves afford comfortable seating and are leveled that obstruction is minimal. The food venue offers a wide variety of both snack food, as well as meals ( in the sense of the word). It is well staffed. Kept very clean, and security is present as well. Would most definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking for an enjoyable movie experience.

Went to see The First Man. Great movie. Facility is very nice and efficient. Since I had scene card points on stocard and a gift card, wasn't sure whether the self serve kiosk would work, so I got in line to do the transaction through a cashier. But an employee took me to the kiosk and helped me through the transaction. Very helpful.

And since we decided to wait for the next available in movie. We entered the Great Movie Lounge they have in the VIP section. The young lady with great smile she welcomed us (my friend & i ) then the Great part was with Mr. Shelban, as he was our host waiter. He was friendly and great ???? customer service during the few moments we were waiting till we got into the theatre. Drinks. The food and the Again the AMAZING SERVICE. Looking forward. Again to go to this specific theater for my next VIP movie ????

We went to go watch star wars in VIP for the first time. It was extremely hot in the theater, most people sitting next to us were also complaining about the temperature. The food they serve is double the price only because they come deliver it to you. Not worth it. We ordered nachos that was served on this fancy plate which was not practical considering we were eating in the dark and it fell everywhere. Not what we expected.

After the first time I came here, I only go to VIP cinemas now because it's so clean, and I can order food right from my seat and not have to get up to get it (I'm lazy) but everything is as it should be and staff is always friendly and welcoming. Great place to go. I go see movies at least 4 times a month. Provided there's stuff out. Greatest location!

We come here Every Weekend! Great location, never too busy (obviously because you book your seats in advance!). Trivia nights and live music sometimes.... Seat service is not always the greatest, especially if it is busy. The earlier you arrive the more likely your order will be right (and maybe even still hot). Menu has gotten more expensive and portions smaller. We might actually go back to eating dinner before a movie since it's cheaper now and the convenience of the seat service just doesn't outweigh the cost anymore. Still the best location out of Downtown and Markahm.

There’s no worse feeling like getting ripped off and then calling customer service with a reply time of 35 mins. With options to call you back, which was 1 hour later and then spending more time explain yourself on the phone to agent and hearing “I’m sorry, I can’t do anything about it” and requesting for a manger who refused to come to phone unless more information was provide. Be alert when purchasing gift cards from this location. I have no expectation that I will get reimbursed but it’s no surprise that cineplex is having financial problems. It can’t keep there customers satisfied!

Love the VIP experience. The service is always great. Friendly and efficient. Totally recommend this option for date night... and the lounge is always an added bonus. Costs the same as a regular dinner and a movie... the food choices are even fantastic. The parm chicken sliders that they have turned into a sandwich is amazing. I do prefer the sliders though... it helped with food portions. But you can indulge every once I awhile. There alcoholic options are also great. Impress your date or have a nice evening away from the kids...different crowd that goes to the movies... which is refreshing.

Only complaint I have is that every time I come here, no matter what you watch your movie in (ultraavx, VIP, regular), the sound is really low compared to other theatres like Yorkdale and Vaughan. I would feel like I’m watching a regular movie in UltraAvx.

It's a big theatre. It was good in the movies too. Nothing stood out to me as being particularly bad or good. Cineplex is usually a 5 star movie experience I think. The washrooms didn't smell like pee either so that's a huge plus. The VIP theatre however was a let down! The VIP theatre at yonge and eglinton has fully reclineable chairs in the entire theatre. This one did not, and i had paid the money that I did so that I could watch the movie as comfortably as I expected. I was disappointed

Went to the VIP theater for dinner and a movie. I had the Taradonna pizza which was grilled chicken with roasted red pepper. It was a good pizza. My friend had the garden salad which unfortunately had wilted spinach that wasn't very fresh. Our server Justin helped us out and replaced her meal without issue. The in-seat service was great too. It was fast and the staff we all very courteous. During our movie the power went out but the interruption was brief and the film got back on track. Aside from the wilted spinach which was of course replaced with a different dish, the service was outstanding.

The VIP movie is experience is like nothing else. It truley is the new way to go to the movies. The seats are so comfortable. And the staff is simply amazing. From the people that take your order to the ones delivering your popcorn and snacks. Although it may be more than your regular movie cost it really is worth it. A really nice experience for a date night or birthday or just to go see a new movie in complete comfort. You have to be 19+ to attend as they serve alchohal in the auditorium. There is still a regular theatre at this location which is maintained very well.

Always a great experience here. Regular movies just dont compare anymore. Seats are comfortable, arm rest in the middle moves up, very front row of seats recline into a lying position, pull around tray on the seats for your snacks. In seat service provided before the movie. Alcohol drinks allowed in theater. KID AND TEENAGER FREE!! ????????

I've been to this theatre many times now (the VIP side, not the regular side) and I always have a great time. The VIP seats are waaaay more comfy than the other ones, and they have built in tv tables too so you can eat with ease. Also, LEG ROOM. Lots of it. The food is great, and they have tons of selection, and for alcohol as well. All together it's well worth the extra couple bucks to pay for the VIP tickets. This theatre in particular and their staff are excellent.

When I'm feeling bougie (and don't have to pay for my own ticket), I love coming to this location for the VIP movies! The parking lot is HUGE, the movies here are recent, the seats are comfortable, the staff are super friendly, and I always have a good time here. I would highly recommend the VIP cinema and I would definitely come here again

Came to the theatres on Nov 20 for the 2:45pm show in theatre 2. Not exactly a VIP experience. Arrived to the room at 2:25pm. Had no servers to take orders. Went to concessions and was told that servers were sent home due to it not being busy. Seats do not offer the recline experience like other theatres. I tried to do contactless ordering, which on prompted for me to download the menu. Essentially, I could have watched this movie in regular theatre experience for way less. Will not be coming back to this movie theater.

We are avid movie goers and always prefer the VIP theaters for the comfy chairs and the ability to choose/reserve your seating. Menu has recently expanded and food quality is above average but what makes this theater our preferred choice is the $6 valet parking. Movie parking lots are huge and usually packed with cars or people leaving their show and when the temperature is below freezing or there’s inclement weather, being able to pull right up to the doors of the VIP lounge is worth every dollar. BONUS: they note which movie you’re seeing and have your car pulled up to the door and warming up for you as you’re walking out! There are two other VIP theaters closer to our house and we still choose to travel here.

First time trying out the VIP section and it was not the best experience. The staff are friendly, however we ordered 3 items off the in seat service (chicken tenders, jalapeno poppers, and mac and cheese wedges) ( $31.72) and only received 1 item. They started the service late which led to them bringing the food during the movie. The movie started at 6:20 and we received our food at 6:35 and then never got our poppers or wedges. It ruined the experience. The server did give me a heads up that the mild chicken tenders were said to be on the medium flavour so i asked for extra ranch dipping sauce... but I never got the extra sauce. When the movie was done I went up and told the employee what had happened. The manager refunded our money, and gave us 2 courtesy admission tickets. Even though we were annoyed with the outcome of the in seat service, we were grateful for the gesture to compensate for it.

They have both the regular cinema and VIP. There’s a D-box option and they recently started offering the 7D experience. The staff is nice and the service is good. There’s a Tim Hortons inside. I highly recommend their pulled pork poutine if you go for the concessions, it’s as good as Smoke’s poutine!

Paid $26 for a VIP ticket. Waited half an hour waving the menu around trying to get somebody's attention just so they'd take my order. A hundred people came in while I was doing this and they got served while I was ignored. Floor manager just shrugged and refused to help or take my order either. Had to talk to three or four people just to get a refund for the movie ticket. Evening wasted because nobody would make things right. I just wanted to be treated with a minimum of respect. It's not that hard.

I love this place, always clean and always vibrant! The staff there are amaizng and it adds to your overall experience. In an era where you could literally watch most movies from the comfort of your home, tbis place makes you want to step out! Popcorn is always fresh and if it isnt, just ask! VIP is the way to go! Parking gets a bit tight on common movie nights so arrive early.

This Cineplex has both regular as well as VIP theatres. Usual setup, parking here is plentiful and has some good options for food inside including a Tim Hortons. Whenever we have had issues with tickets etc, we have found the staff to be very helpful. Big fun interactive screen by kiosks to keep kids occupied while you purchase tickets. There are also vending machines with $2 toys and a pretty big arcade for gameplay.

My wife and I had a great time. We were able to grab a bite to eat and had a drink at the restaurant quietly before the movie started. The seat we had were clean and very comfortable. Our server in the theatre was polite and friendly and we got our order pretty fast. The movie theatre was great, I just wish they had better speakers, these sounded pretty basic unfortunately.

The seats at this VIP were not like the others , it's very dated and the seats were cracked and uncomfortable as they comprised of fake leather. The seats dug into you and did not properly recline, you have to forcefully put tension to keep the chair reclined. By far the worst VIP I've been to and not worth paying the premium price when you come to this location.

Nice to see again how big organization can simply do as they please. I just went see a viewing for Spiderman this evening, to notice that the auditorium was literally at 100% capacity. I sat down for about two minutes to notice that I wasn't comfortable with the situation, especially over the fact that the guy beside me wasn't wearing his mask properly. I asked the manager why aren't they complying with the new 50% occupancy mandates. He told me that they are, but they are able to allocate the seats for a popular movie by reducing the amount of seats available less popular showing. This to me is a goss example of the extent that big business will go to, that they would look for an opportunity to make profit over the true safety of it's customers. Most of us have to wear mark's for 9-12 hours a day for work, and now you go to take your family out for an evening at the movies, But now you have to dress up the whole family in masks for another two hours, can't even have a sip of water or a bite of popcorn, to possibly get into it with the guy beside you because he's not wearing his mask... save your $150 until things get better. I love watching movies at the theater, but non of this was enjoyable. Nore safe. Happy holidays. Everyone.

The movie and the quality were both great. The theater was very warm I really hope they turn the temperature down in the future and at one point someone standing up blocked part of the projector but overall the VIP theaters are really comfy and a great experience.

Horrible experience at this theatre. The weather outside was very humid and hot and the theatre felt the same way. Extremely humid and sticky. It was the most uncomfortable movie I've ever been to and wanted to walk out many times just for the fact that it felt difficult to breathe as they expect you to keep your mask on if not eating/drinking. There was a fan on the ceiling that was moving very slowly and not creating and sort of relief to the lack of AC because it felt as if there wasn't any AC. Maybe it wasn't working (if that's the case staff should be letting people know this). The theatre smelled so bad and was very sticky and gross feeling. Not enough distance between people in rows ahead of you and the extreme poor air quality in the theatre was even more concerning with people being so close to you. The seats were filthy, covered in dried up pop stains and very sticky. Poor quality theatre. This place has gone down hill. Definitely will reconsider ever revisiting this theatre again in the future. Would pay more for a cleaner more comfortable environment as this movie night out turned into a night where I couldn't wait for it to be over and go home. The popcorn ($18+ for two small popcorns wasn't even warm... Dissapointing!) Landmark cinemas will be my go to theatre moving forward. Most comfortable seats, very clean and comfortable environment and worth the extra drive. This night out was supposed to be enjoyable and ended up being extremely unpleasant. Waste of money for poor quality theatre and mediocre food.

Moderately busy cinema. Parking can be hard to find during peak hours (evening 7-9pm), but otherwise this is a well run Cineplex cinema. I've previously been a 'secret shopper' for another Cineplex location, and this location is pretty much up to par with all requirements. The patrons at this location can occasionally be rude though. Don't expect everyone in your theatre to have manners during a film. Still, I'd say less than 5% of the films I've seen at this location have been plagued by terrible people and even then it's mostly at the later showings.

Only way this place ever goes seriously wrong is if we hit a movie we don't like...and that's not something we can hold against them. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks brought to comfy seats is a wonderful thing. Only issue is that the menu gets a little too exclusive on the food front. Example in that sometimes when one goes to a movie, one might like a hot dog which is a particularly nice pairing with beer. They can still offer the more gourmet, sure, but they should allow for all the regular fare as well.

After not going to the movies for over two years, we were looking forward to our evening. Paying premium price for vip and expecting an experience as previous visits…we were hugely disappointed. We made sure we got to the vip lounge an hour before the show. Upon arrival our host was great, checked us in and seated us in the lounge. This is where the confusion and disappointment started. We asked to order calamari…she told us they don’t have any calamari left. Then we spent a few minutes to order an alternative order of nachos. The host went to the kitchen and came back to tell us they don’t have nachos either because they ran out of chips. On a Saturday evening on a long weekend, how do you run out nacho chips being a movie theatre!? We were then told they are also out of fried dill pickles. We ordered our drinks and ordered $8 truffle fries which were okay. Washroom floors were wet and sticky and left some kind of residue under our shoes that made them sticky for the rest of the evening. After relocating to the movie theatre and getting to our seats, our side trays were stuck. Somebody had to come and move them around to release them. My wife ordered a fountain sprite and she received the fountain drink pop with a coffee lid. The straw would not fit in it. We told one of the servers and he went away only to come back and tell us they ran out of pop drink lids and apologized. At this point we were left to be upset with the whole experience. Spent over $90 for movie, food and drinks. So not worth it

Great cinema with a friendly staff. Went on the weekend with my toddlers and everyone was helpful and understanding. They also have a completely separate entrance for the VIP area! My family will make this a go to theater for both family movie day and daddy/mommy date night.
