They would do much better, if they played more Mainstream Hollywood films, and maybe Have a cultural Bollywood Movie Night on Sunday Nights, rather than Every Night! The facility itself is pretty standard, it's just very filthy and old! A little Clean up, and modernization would go along way! Also the food there are mainly just Indian snacks! It would be nice o Incorporate some Western snacks as well such as Fries, Pizza, and Hot Dogs! Some few simple adjustments can go along way! As the theater already is in perfect conditions, location, and has the ability to broaden it's viewership Market by playing English Movies as well! Hopefully someday I can give it 4 stars, but for now, it deserves a 1

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Albion Cinemas this past Friday, December 9th. We were visiting from Ottawa and I just had to bring her here for a Bollywood movie. We saw Befikre and we really enjoyed the film. The atmosphere was positive and the food was amazing! Your samosas are as delicious as they were back in 2018! Thank you for the amazing experience and the exceptional service! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Toronto

If it was possible to rate them in negative....i would have rated them minus 5. They are highly unorganized, they just want to earn dollars. ..the screens are so small you feel like youre watching tv at home.....customer service doesn't exist for them....The manager is rude. ..safety is a major issue here.....they should be shut down immediately. ...also they close the doors and trap you inside like you're a prisoner...that's another safety concern here....

This is Crazy here at Albion Cinema...these staff from Albion Cibemas have misused my two tickets that I got through TET which I can only use during this weekend...now claiming that I already used it?????? Wow...WTH!! In this case I don't even need to call Albion to confirm, but I did call because I need to buy 3 extra tickets for my kids, only found out that someone have already cliam it:( really!!! "She (staff) said let me check of my tickets" which I never asked!?..shocked me when she came back said..."oh you claimed your tickets already'" Very convenient for them to say like this and when I asked for proof, they don't even have any proof of that, but only have my name and phone number was crossed out in their book!! Wow!!! Go figure... only two shows left to show on Mersal today and they thought I won't show up to claim!! They know I was really mad, not because of the tickets but for the fact the BS they said that I claimed it????... Just had a call from Albion Cinema supervisor that they will give me those 2 tickets after cheking my ID !! Mmm..after all this you realy want to watch this movie at this theatre?!?..yeah right ???? Even my kids don't want to go their to watch Mersal movie there!!

Nice place to watch Bollywood movies. Place is little old but very well maintained by staff. Sometimes you'll find tremendous crowd while popular movies are going on. So it is better to book the tickets in advance or wait for the another week.

Wish I had the option to give negative rating.. This is the worst place you would ever want to watch a movie. They over-book and even raise the ticket fares for no reason which they ask people to pay via cash only. Went to watch BB2, for which we had already purchased ticked in raised prices but couldn't watch as the theatre was over-booked and we waited in the crowd (they call it queue) for almost 2 hours... What a waste a time man!!!

I loved watching movies at Albion Cinemas but yesterday (November 30, 2018) had a bad experience. When presented my Vicinity point card to buy one ticket on points and second one on cash the gentleman made me wait for a minute to go in and talk to another gentleman, comes back and tells me that during first 7 days of the movie I cannot use my point card. I asked him why did not you put this online so that one does have to drive 24 kilometers to be told. I went to see the other gentleman and he was blunt and said these are instructions from up and cannot do anything. As a principle did not watch movie and hopefully, they have not taken my 10 points as well as I did not watch movie. Instead did some shopping and walking in Etobicoke. Missed quality of Samosa served during previous owners (Nice Parsi old man and his son and daughter-in-law's time) and smiling, courteous service.

Theater is quite old and not maintained properly. This will feel like you are watching a movie in some old theater in India which is outdated from decades. Screen size is decent and Sound quality is low. I was mostly hearing sound from the front of the screen. Floors were sticky and never been mob/clean. Seats required a deep cleaning too. Although Ticket prices are little inexpensive than Cineplex but little maintenance would make a lot difference in the overall experience for all the movie govers.

If you want to compare this cinema with your country s Village single screen cinema... dude that's better then this cinema, at least you can watch movie as you have paid for it in advance. Doesn’t even deserve a one star. No regards for customers. Advertised that they are showing a movie at 3pm. The theatre didn’t even open that day. How inconsiderate and lack of respect from a business point of view. People drove 30 mins to get to the theatre. So disgusted with the way they function as a theatre.

The worst customer experience you could ever get from any place. The staff at the food court thinks that they are the kings. Very very RUDE! we didn't know that this place didn't accept food from outside, so we got an ice-cream from outside during the movie interval and the staff girls at the food court asked us not to bring it inside even though the movie had already started even after me and my wife pleading saying the movie had started. So we had to throw it in the garbage and continue watching the movie. We were so embarrassed and let down that day.

This is when it’s -5 outside and so freaking cold inside. Not only it’s inconvenient, the stuff were so rude about it. They have the audacity to charge $20 per person and that too only in cash. Worst theater and management ever seen in my life! Its worst in terms of seating, cleaness and other interior, make you feel of old village theatre of India. I went to watch Baahubali 2 and they f..ked up by selling 100-150 more tickets than capacity. How such kind of mismanagement happen? I waited for 1 hour and they gave me refund. They didnt gave any complementary ticket for next day show or other compliments. I have Wasted my time (tobe precise 2 hours on that day, and 2 times 1.5 hours driving from Downtown to there, back and forth) and my gas(46 km back and forth, 2 times one to buy advanced ticket and another to watch movie). Still me and my family was not able to watch that movie. They also called police in advanced in theater. I got the ticket in advanced on friday for the show of Saturday still these retarded people couldn't gave me seat to watch. If you have options, don't go there!

Old design, cheap tickets average ambient. Pros: Big auditoriums, enough empty seats that you can choose the best suitable for you. Tickets are cheaper compared to other, some days even more cheaper (I guess Wednesday) No need to reserve seats or advance bookings, just walk in its not that busy. Cons: No D Box or any other special feature, up till last time I visited. Some times you may find mouse running arround in auditorium. Cafeteria is just right for the place may not please some people.

I personally don't like this cinema as they charge huge. Like for the stupid rajniant 2.0 movie they charged us 25 dollars. So that is atrocious and even for the movie of Vijay or any Tamil movie they charge nearly 20 dollars. Even the snacks are not great with them

Good : Cheap tickets, Tonnes of seats so you will most likely get a place when you want to watch a movie, Will give you interval to use the washrooms, get snacks etc. Bad : Bad Seats, Not the decent enough screen viewing, DO NOT ORDER TEA HERE, they call it "Masaala tea" for $ 3 but it is just a tea bag with hot water in a small cup and tastes awful. Movie started 30min after posted time. They let people in first come first serve, so obviously everyone hogged seats with their jackets and bags. They started the movie 2 mins after they let everyone into the theater. 3/4 people were still trying to find seats when they turned off the lights and started the movie. They also charged $15 dollars for a ticket. This was the worse experience I've had at a theater.

Swapping boards cinema1 and 2 as they need. Cheating... when I called they said they play movie BB Telugu in big screen i.e cinema 1. But they played in cinema 2 fine. But in interval break they changed the board to cinema1. Cinema2 (original 1) is now open for BB Hindi version. Holy crap. Man for 25 bucks ticket atleast commit to what you say. Don't try to fool

Too small screens. Not so clean inside. Once the movie is done, you will be sent out of the Mall directly. Only reason to go to these cinemas is because of Desi movies.

I bought an online ticket for $21in for a Tamil movie. You need to go to the kiosk and get a physical copy of the ticket before the movie begins. Since the seats are reserved you don't need to worry about coming early. Outside food can't be brought unless you hide it in a bag. Since the theater is part of a mall, I recommend using the Mall's restroom since the one in the theater gets crowded and is not upto the mark. This movie theater is pretty outdated but has one of the biggest halls in GTA. Though the screen to hall ratio is not great I would suggest picking seats in the middle of the hall during purchase. The movie starts after 10-15min of ads and trailers and there is an intermission in between.

I have never been to this theater and do not have a reason to. Came to pick up a friend from this mall, I had parked my car beside the theater's auditorium exit. I noticed that both door was open while a film was being played! The weather outside was -16!!! WTF

I wish I can give negative stars. We went to the cinema from Milton after confirming the movie time on their website only to be told at the ticket counter that the movie time is changed from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. We asked for the manager and showed him the web site still shows 3.30pm so as the monitors at the cinema, where the movie time is still showing as 3.30pm. He said he is not responsible what the monitor displays and gave us a look that its our fault. The management is very arrogant. Please take caution if you plan to see a movie at this cinema.

They Post movies on Website for a certain time and then change the time when you show up for the movie. We Traveled a long distance to come and watch the movie when we found out they changed the time. Worst Customer Service!

Worst experience. Sound quality on Screen 1 is very poor. Not able to hear voices properly. Definitely they need to fix the sound issue in this theater.

Very unclean establishment... the management decides to change the price of the tickets according to their own will. Went for baahubali 2 and they charged 30 dollars per ticket which they would only take cash no card payments and there was no receipt provided.. Very poor management... will never return.

The theatres have a great surround sound system but I hope they would clean up the theatre halls properly before each show. I've tripped on drink cups more than once! The late night shows are the best if your looking to go with a large group.

The theatre is quite big but the seats are very bad. Pricing of tickets for popular movies is double the normal. Definitely not worth for the movie going experience you get!

Highly mismanaged place !! Lots of confusion , you must book tickets in advance or go there very early ! However once you are inside the cinema , you feel you are in India ! The crowd and the energy is awesome . Give it a try !!! I loved the confusion and crazy crowd inside

Unlike Google reviews, found the theatre clean and enjoyable watching a midweek late show (low occupancy time). Screen 2 was fairly good size, and 3d and sound was just as good as cineplex. The staff were friendly and had a good time.

Worst theaters in Canada. Woodside Cinemas, Albion Cinemas and York Cinemas. The list of complaints include, poor management, rude customer service, pay cash only for overpriced $30 tickets (no credit or debit cards accepted and no receipt, so distributor can evade taxes and report false figures or $0 to the CRA, HUGE FINANCIAL FRAUD). Everyone should report them to the CRA immediately. Other issues include movies not starting according to schedule, incorrect schedules, shows cancelled without notice, interval breaks between movies longer than usual if the line up at the concession stand is large, stinking theaters, garbage on floor not cleaned, poor seating and audio, small screens, no way to buy online, stand in line pushing each other to buy tickets, distributors sell tickets to known people so you could be there in a line for 30 minutes and find out show is sold out but have people walk in later in large groups and have multiple tickets. I will never go again. I will also never understand why so many people go to these theaters. If a movie is not playing in Cineplex, its better to stay home and wait 3 to 6 months than to overpay and deal with these crappy theaters.
