First day open after a year and management didn't have a clue about how to manage things. Only 3 concession stands open and a single lineup of 100+ people long waiting for snacks. Apparently movies start exactly on-time now as opposed to ~15 minutes of previews first. No one cared to mention that change so we missed the first 10 minutes of the movie while waiting for snacks.

Easy access from major routes. Smaller compared to the newest venues, but it feels more appropriate for families with kids. Parking could be an issue if you are arriving just before the show and want to find something very close to the theatre, but there are many places available in the area.

Popcorn is garbage now. They used to serve fresh popcorn. Now it's all in pre-shoveled into bags and they sit there all day going stale. The prices are outrageous. And now they charge us for a squirt of butter. Never coming back. Biggest ripoff.

What happened to this place? They’ve cut staff way back lately. Big push to use the machines for purchasing of tickets. Not nearly enough people on the snack bar, be prepared to wait. Get there early enough so you don’t miss the beginning of your movie. Prices are crazy at snack bar but that’s to be expected. Seats are comfy, theatres are big and spacious.

My first experience at this theater was really good! I received quick and efficient service (although it sucked I didn't realize that you couldn't buy your tickets at concession so I had to go back to the box office, my mistake). And the theater was clean after a show. My only complaint was that when the movie ended, the lights came on too early.

Updated: came during 4th wave restrictions. Limited to 100/cinema however there's no social distancing imposed. Most people bunch up middle rows, upper levels. Need modification to online seat selection to accommodate this. Masks are supposed to be kept on all times but some pull them down once lights are turned off. Staff do come in prior to movie start to check and advise patrons to keep them on. Like coming here: conveniently close. Just wish on busy nights that there's more staff helping folks how to use automated ticket purchasing machines. It appears there's a learning curve for for some.

This theatre has pretty much been part of my life for a number of years. From when it first opened many many years ago, until now, a place where I take my 6-year-old for a family outing. The prices are high, the lines are long, but the comfortable seats and friendly atmosphere are what really count in making memories. Only on one occasion did I have to sit right up front and I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn’t bending my neck all the way back and was able to enjoy the film. SilverCity Burlington has now implemented self-serve, however I still prefer to pay at the cashier. Washrooms are generally clean and looked after. Birthday parties have also always been a huge success. If you’re looking for a night out with your partner or with the family, SilverCity Burlington certainly won’t disappoint. My one recommendation would be to get there in decent time so you’re able to grab a decent parking spot as some can be quite a distance from the entrance.

Took my friend out to a movie after a disappointing dinner elsewhere and thought I would grab some theater food while watching the movie, food was about on par for pricing of the fancy restaurant.. ah well. Theater staff were nice and the theater was clean though so bonus points for that!

This theater is the best. The other cinema in Burlington seems to pull in more customers so I find this one is less busy which I prefer when going to the movies. Not a fan of big crowds. Also they seem to have the movies that not many other theaters in the area play.

Theater 12's projector needs repair badly. Sometimes blurry video and a blooming effect in bright background scenes with a greenish outline around darker images in the front of the scene. Calibration needed and probably a new bulb. I had the same problems on my old CRT widescreen television.

My favourite cinema. I'm from the UK and I have come here every summer when visiting family and it always stays as a place full of memories and happiness.

I visited this Cineplex location to watch Hacksaw Ridge. Upon entering the theater and sitting down, the previews and pre-movie showcases were not turned on. Part of the movie going experience for me is watching the highlights beforehand as well as numerous previews. When the movie started the volume was incredibly quiet - I am not sure if the theaters are calibrated or not automatically - perhaps it was because the action scenes during the movie are very loud. I go to the movies very frequently and could tell that the dialogue and most of the scenes were very quiet and could not get immersed in the move at all. Every little sound (breathing, feet moving etc.) could be heard very clearly and completely took me out of the movie. I had to ask staff to turn the volume up - which they did but it was then noticeably way too loud and it went back down again, not sure if it returned to original levels or slightly higher. Either way, perhaps it was the combination of the movie/small theater but it completely ruined my experience as well as the fact the previews were not played beforehand. On top of everything the floors were incredibly sticky in the theater. I rarely visit this location, and I will not do so again in the future.

This is my main place to go see movies. Great sized theatres, fairly clean for the most part and staff is helpful and pleasant. It's mildly expensive but it's a good time out. I'd recommend using a Scene card if you're a frequent movie goer, you save a couple dollars here and there.

Honestly probably the worst movie theatre experience ever. But the staff was amazing. We informedthem of 2 groups of kids who were talking through the movie and on their phones, oneeven listening to music on his headphones loud enough we could hear it. The staff did the best they could, it was dark so finding the groups was difficult but just their presence got the kids to shut up for atleast the last 3rd of the movie. The manager was so apologetic and gave both my sister and i free admission passes so we will happily go back again.

The ticket prices are reasonable and the theater itself is clean and nice. I think if you want to see a move you should check it out. Its the best in its area!

Went here Sunday Aug 1st. Bought a Costco Pass for 2 admissions and concessions. Scanned at front to gain admission to get my scene points then proceeded to concessions to get my refreshments and scrne points the guy behind the counter argued with me you dont get points on concessions with a costco pass I said its always been points. Still continued arguing so i asked for a manager and finally scanned my card and geez guess who got points for concessions for everything on the pass???? Train your staff better cineplex you have been closed forever you would think you would want to make profits and not upset your customers.

Place has ample parking in a busy plaza and is close the the highway which is a plus. On the negative side, does not offer ordering tickets through Atom and the bathrooms are disgusting. Employees always have to be reminded to actually put the butter on your popcorn which you pay extra for.

Lack of handrails make it very dangerous for anyone, particularly seniors, with mobility issues to descend stairs after sitting for lengthy movie. ALSO: retirees usually prefer matinees so we would appreciate abd attend more weekday afternoon showings of our film "genres. " Just remember to bring your walking stick.

Expensive and lacklustre. We went here for a kids birthday party and now i remember when it's better to watch movies at home. The door ticket staff was vague as to where the kids party was, so we didn't find them. The movie had a ton of advertising that wasn't even relevant. Credit cards and car advertising for a kid movie? It was even hugely difficult to just get a simple to go bag for our frozen yogurt. Not that enjoyable but it served as a welcome reminder why going to the movies is an expensive and not all together pleasant experience.

This theater is clean and most of the time packed on premier night's however if you go a week or two later there is almost no one in some of the movies letting you enjoy a movie by yourself. I often sneak whole bags of doritos in here, save yourself some money and go to Sobeys around the corner for snacks.

So I really do appreciate them.

Consessions are inflated in price like any other theater and many of the automated ticket kiosks are are often down, which is inconvenient. But, it's just what you would expect and always has the big movies.

A decent place to go watch a movie, the general area is not as frequently littered with popcorn and liquids like every other movie theatre, customer service is also satisfactory as well. They also air a decent amount of movies, and the seats are relatively comfortable. I would recommend if you are going to go watch a movie with family or friends, and are in the vicinity of this movie theatre.

The arcade area is a bit miserable, but I don't have any qualms about the theater itself. It is kept very clean and there are a variety of movies and showtimes to choose from. The popcorn isn't anything special, but it has enough flavor as a movie snack. Be sure to add plenty of butter. My one real complaint would be that the movie volume is significantly louder than other theaters, but perhaps that would be a bonus to some people.

I enjoy interacting with people NOT machines and would like to buy my tickets from a real person. Having a kid rudely tell me that I have to use a machine because your theatre is becoming automated just ticks me off and the same went for the other 3 people behind me who wanted to use a person. The same as last week when 3 or 4 people in line wanted to use a real person and were told they had to learn to use the machines. The screen and audio in the theatre was really good... aside from poor design of the reclining seats, and tight spacing. For someone 6' or taller, it leaves very little to no clearance room between your knees and the reclining seat in front of you... as they're constantly bashed by the back of it throughout the movie... makes for nothing short of an unpleasant and annoying experience.

Great place to watch a movie. Strict covid rules. Very clean theaters... The only fault I saw, was that the people cleaning the seats(disinfecting). They had a chart as to where one was supposedly sat and that seat was cleaned. We'll, in cases like Saturday night where only 8 people showed up... some decided to move around and chose a better seat... so now those seats stayed with germs for the next person.

These kids ahead of me got food and this guy didn't even start cooking my food until he gave the other kids there food. Quaint little theatre. The staff was amazing. We went here to watch Vice about a month and a half after it's been released. We were had some food and drinks with us, so instead of throwing it out, we decided to hang out at the arcade for a bit to finish before going inside. I had asked the ticketing associate whether it was full, do we have time, etc. and he said we'd be fine. 15 minutes later, while we were dunking some mad arcade hoops, he came to remind us, it might get a bit full, and to go in soon-ish. What a champion. Literally took the effort to not only remember, but to remind us. 10/10 give this guy a raise.

First the cost of the ticket, then if you want popcorn and a drink is beyond a normal price to charge, no wonder people watch movies at home. The NOISE in the theatre is disgusting, several children watching a movie and the level of the movie on children's ears is terrible. SHAME ON YOU. The manager tells me, that the production teams asks that the level of sound be loud, and we could bring earphones if we choose. To get into the place was a .15 minute wait as the doors were locked.

0 stars if I could. Front of house asked my 1 year old baby to wear a mask. When I insisted a 1 year old is not required by law to wear a mask because it is dangerous for their respiratory system, the employee yelled "I don't care if he is 4 years old" and proceeded to scream at me in front of my 3 toddlers who were petrified and shaking. This entire experience has left my 6 year old traumatized. What an absolutely disgusting and horrific experience. I want to speak to management about this.

When I went to this theater it was very clean inside, the people who work there were very nice and helpful. Lots of parking spaces available, it's on a bus route if you don't drive. They have abt 12 movie rooms. The seats are comfortable with drink holders. They have lots of different food options to choose from and the are some restaurants/coffee places near by. If you haven't been you should. Prices are ok, but if you go Tuesday night it's cheaper than other days. They do get busy with big line ups sometimes especially if the movie came out that night. So give yourself extra time or use the machines they have available to get tickets.

They have no choice but to recline when you sit in them, and at 5'10" there is no supprt for your head whatsoever so you are forced to slouch far down in the seat the whole movie which is almost equally as uncomfortable. There is also nothing to grab onto going up or down the steps since the seats themselves move. The theatre is clean however and there are plenty of fast ticket machines to order your tickets from.

Because people dont actually work behind the counter to sell tickets the lineup is very long as customers try to figure out the computers. There was even a lineup for "print your own". Only one person takes tickets and has customers crowded around them to give their tickets. On a good note, there seem to be a good amount of staff to clean the theatre after a movie showing. Unfortunately, I'm unwilling to spend prolonged periods of time at any indoor public places with poor quality HVAC systems and this will delay me returning to the movies until a vaccine is available but this is just my opinion. Silvercity Burlington is showing its age with the old style lobby and the concession stand located directly in the centre of the lobby, which on occasion ,makes it very crowded when attending a newly released film. Have also been to this location for private gatherings as part of a Patient Appreciation Day. Staff is excellent, a Cineplex hallmark, at all times. Lots of convenient parking available despite it being a busier location at Brant Street and North Service Road. Easy access to highways.

My complain is more general to Cineplex: Ads before movies are EXTREMELY loud! A lot louder than movies, there is no need for that. And there are also way too many ads before actual trailers, I know movie theaters need sponsors, but we are already paying for the ticket and concession, I don't need to see 3 different car/trucks ads before enjoying a movie.

I like going there, but when you get the tickets online there is no way to cancel or get a refund, my friend had an emergency and couldn’t come and we had an extra ticket that we couldn’t cancel so we kept asking others to come with us. It would’ve been better if there is an option to cancel.

Purchasing tickets at the theatre and disappointed for the first time ever having ONLY the option of kiosks. Perhaps a little old fashioned, but I think face to face service is invaluable and should remain an option.

Lots of theatres. Not noticeable issues with cleanliness or maintenance. Understaffed concession stand. Ticket prices are reasonable

You do an employees job by generating your own tickets and don't even get employee discount. Sticky theater floor and sticky wet arm rests.

Its a big theatre with multiple screens. They have good food options as well.

Pretty nice theater, usually pretty clean seats and floors. Best part is that it is right next to Costco, so you can grab a combo deal there for cheaper before heading to the theater. Unfortunately no Time Play :(

If you are okay with below average service. Below average video quality and poor sound quality. This is your place. But if I'm paying a hundred dollars to take the kids out. I expect more.

I was very pleased with the social distancing protocols. Seat reservations were set up to maintain distances and everyone was following rules. I will go back soon.

Good movie house many theaters in on complex with many show times and diverse current movies. Large concessions with many food options. Large mens and ladies washrooms so you don't have to wait!!!

My best friend left her wallet there Saturday night on her seat, the next day she called and they said they had it!! There was 500$ in there and I was so sure that it would have been gone. But NOPE. All 500$ was still there when she picked it up.. like that's pretty awesome

It's an old theater for sure. There is no distancing in the seating whatsoever I had ppl right next to me on both sides. Heads up.
