You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is high, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the assessment is very faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their opinion when they are satisfied, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater is included in the category of IMAX theater.
They tried. I’m sure this was cool in 1999. Pretty run down and you can tell it really hasn’t been maintained well.
Came with my grandparents. We found that the movie was, although old, really well made. They learned about the Falls from the discovery by the Indians to the adventures of the daredevils. The stories were interesting, the screen was very big, and sound effect very nice. They really enjoyed it.
The sound and movie were good. It’s a bit dated but still fun. We saw mysteries and myths of the falls. It was nice and empty so we got good seats
It is an IMAC theater and the movie was very interesting. Good little gift shop on the way out but there was no pressure to but stuff. Clean restroom and friendly staff.
Update on video and building in general is required!
Good information to know about the falls.
The movie is a mediocre documentary that was made in 1986. Not worth your time or money. Tourist trap at its worst.
It was ok, bought through a groupon, so price was about half, would have received a lower rating if i paid full price.
Nice and Informative show
the film about Niagara is a bit corny, but entertaining. The exhibition on the various methods that lunatics have used to go over the falls in is fun too.
Clean. Sound was good. Practically had the place to ourselves
Save your money and use wikipedia. The movie is terrible.
They are really nice at Customer service
Great movie, don't miss museum.
I just liked it.
The movie you see is over three decades old. It wasn't good when it was made and it is even worse now. In this digital high definition age one has to wonder how someone can be charged for viewing a movie in 360p; it looks like an old vhs tape played on the big screen. In terms of the films content it is just as bad. Slow plodding and completely uninspired. The only really good shots of the falls you get are in the last 60 seconds of the film, seriously. Perhaps updating the choice of film is in order. What a waste of the Imax experience. Take a pass on this one and spend your money elsewhere.
Mediocre by comparison to the IMAX I have been at. With the power of the Falls, it should have been so action packed I would get nauseous or a little dizzy. Didn't Happen. Not worth it.
As basic an IMAX theater as you will find. Reasonable price and pretty comfortable
over priced for a non digital movie that has no plot and my 4 year old nephew could have made a better movie with more interesting facts.... the museum is crazy small and my apartment is twice as big.. I have a small apartment lol.I wanted to walk out if the movie after 5mins I was so bored and disappointed but I couldnt because u was stuck with all the people who were in there. WOW THAT THE WORST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE OR PAID ME TO SIT THERE I CAN'T EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW BAD IT WAS!!!!! PLEASE DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME OUT IF YOUR LIFE THERE!!!!
Very old and neglected place, not maintained at all. The movie itself is so poorly made and so ridiculous it was an insult to broadcast it. Save your money and time for something else.
Fun place
Great vert accessible near the hotel
Comfortable and with a very good image quality.
Sadly it is being torn down to make way for a badly needed 250 room new hotel. The current site is getting way too old, and they are relocating IMAX as soon as a new site can be found.
The screen and picture quality are great, the sound is simply fantastic. But the offered shows are dull, missing entirely the potential of such facility.
Great movie that shows the different ways people go over Niagara Falls. There is also a museum with a lot history and the different crafts that people used to go over the falls.
Waiting for the show; heard is amazing (I'll find out in a few short minutes....)
Nice joyous entertainment
A good place to burn your money and the movie was a waste of time!
The Niagara Falls document (45mins) is average. The sounds system is awesome, but the movie is 2D only.
Excellent experience and awesome video shown about the history of the Falls.
Very informative.
Such a nice cinema
Nice old place. Well maintained for visitors.
Such a great place! The staff was wonderful and friendly . The movie was excellent and so interesting ! I wish it was more than an hour! It’s a great place to go especially if you’re tired and need a bit of a break from walking around. Would recommend 10/10
Not much here. Old screenings from too many years ago.
Movie is very old and only documents two cases. Theatre is run down. Screen is big. Overall I was disappointed.
Clean decent place imax ok
The movie played was good...... The sound effects are worth it
Nice attraction
Very nice screen, but you can learn what they say online and see the falls for yourself.
Interesting to see, but the technology is 50 years old, and is not as impressive as it used to be.
Really overpriced! We hoped for an informational movie about the geographical formation of the falls as well as historical background. The entire movie showcased several of the morons who tried to take on the falls in barrels and by tightrope. It was a waste of time and money.
Parking is cheape and safe
Wow all the things that have happened at the falls.
I thought the film might have been a little more educational. It mentioned historic times and events but it was very vague on explaining details. If you don't know the history yet,the film does nothing to educate you more. The video of the people doing things is not what I would expect of Imax. Poor video clips. The only good video is of the Falls overhead views.
My expectations was of who was the man that through himself in that black metal ball and never in the movie we heard about him was ashame
One BIG screen LOL, if you have never been i is worth the experience.
It was good but the movie scenes on Niagara weren't consistent but watchable
Fascinating film, always worth it
I am reviewing this place with no childhood memories or nostalgic nonsense. It's a dump. It's been closed for years. It's never going to reopen because IMAX won't make another movie about Niagara Falls and people stopped paying to see the same thing over and over again. It's sad, they should've turned it into a normal theater when they had a chance but now that industry is gone too. The least they could do is send someone down there once a year to do maintenance on the building... it looks dreadful.
Very Interesting! Good video quality and large screen. I recommend.
Although deserted due to COVID, the 2 ladies working were very helpful. The show was quite good too!
For a great introduction to The Falls that goes far beyond just watching water flow over a cliff, you need to start here. Your mind will refer back to the movie as you walk around the falls. Great value, huge screen, beautiful cinematography.
The theater and the movie are very dated. The movie was made in 1986, and it shows. The second half of the film, where it talks about the people who've gone over the falls was interesting, but that's it. You're not missing anything if you skip it.
Very out dated ....film is from 1974
Old movie,, but still interesting
It's not really a documentary about Niagara falls. It tells the legends and myths regarding this place. The place is nice.
Wonderful concept but they REALLY need to update the movie. It did however serve it's intended purpose as my way fe and I were able to kill some time until out taxi arrived. Lol.
The movie offers some history of the fall; pretty educational.
My daughter and I had a great time. The sound was intense
Great information about the falls, theatre could use some updating
Great info about the falls! Great history
A little run down, shows was really cheesy.
Great movie. You get chance to know history of falls and all kinds of miracles, myths and magics regarding the Niagara Falls
Not bad.
Like the movie hope they may have more similar documentaries
The Imax theatre was very informative. I think it was a good thing to visit the theatre first before taking the boat ride. It made it more exciting and interesting.
Love to read ???? all the history that written to those who survived the Niagara falls Enjoying reading those challenges that they had experienced in those strong falls.
A big theater with lots of seating. Nice smallmuseum of barrels and pictures ofpeople who have attemptedthe falls. Little gift shop to pick upsome souvenirs.
Nice and huge tehather but not great stories
A great experience and very educational. I learned so many things about Niagara falls that I had no idea happened here.
I thought that the exhibit was very cool and informative. On the other hand the IMAX movie is pretty lame. Skip the movie and go to the exhibit.
One of the best theatres in Niagara falls to experience IMAX - Rick Trus review
The theatre + museum is a decent experience for kids but the facilities (and the film) are a little dated. The people are friendly, the projector is shaky and the acting is a little cheesy - all of which is fine if the tickets come in your hotel package. Wouldn't go out of my way to see this otherwise.
Museum is small and interesting, can get in some barrels for photos :) I enjoyed the video :)
Watched the IMAX and walked through the Daredevil Exhibit. Very interesting and informative. The IMAX screen is as big and awesome as advertised!????And all the surround sound speakers added a very engaging atmosphere to the theater! Comfortable seats too.
Great movie theater
A must see when you visit the Falls.
Great show on the falls. I would recommend it.
Great place where everyone must be
This seems to be a huge waste of an IMAX theatre that I have seen. The location is awesome, it is clean, and the Staff are friendly and very helpful. The problem is their feature movie "Miracles, Mysteries, & Magic" which is about of course Niagara Falls and its history. The movie was made in 1986 and the quality really diminishes the feel of an IMAX theatre. It is corny and certainly dated but has scratches and hit and miss sound. It is neat to see what Niagara Falls looked like in 1986 with only one hotel and less erosion to the Falls. I would think there should be some money in the Tourism budget to a newer movie and really make the IMAX theatre use its full potential. The movie is offered in several language via headphones will be good for the vast cultures that visit Niagara Falls. I guess I just expected mover because of it being an IMAX.
Only shows the Niagara falls movie and looks a little run down.
The outside is pretty dilapidated but the inside isn't too shabby. The imax movie was the real issue, maybe it would have been entertaining if this was the 1980's and you had your High School varsity jacket on along with your Chuck Taylor's. The best part of the movie was when they worker came on the announcements and told us the show was over.
Actually did not go inside but our hotel shared the same parking lot. This place is soo out dated and falling apart from the outside.
Just one word: spectacular!!!
It was advertised to me as a movie theatre by google maps and Groupon but it is a information hub with a movie to watch as a alternative to listening to people talk.
The best thing about this place was probably the National Geographic store. The imax movie presented was boring and not interesting. Too expensive for the low quality imax movie.
Good movie
Due to Covid 19, IMAX is closed.
The IMAX theater is good but the movie was old with poor quality pictures
Not the big deal it once was but an impressive experience none the less.
I thought that the IMAX screen will be covered around me like all other IMAX theaters do but this one is just one large screen. I love the video though and the history of Niagara Falls it tells me about.
Outdated theater but still cool if you have an hour to spare.
Very interesting and informative of the history of the area
Wow this is crazy. The movie was very interesting. We walked through the daredevil exhibit after. Found it very entertaining.
Movie was OK. Not much more to say.
Nice theater, and comfortable location.
I completely LOVED experiencing the Daredevil Exhibit and watching the history of Niagra Falls in IMAX!! There's nothing else that could ever come so close!! I highly recommend everyone go try the IMAX experience because it is remarkable. Plus the staff are so friendly and wonderful!! If you find yourself visiting Niagra I highly recommend making the IMAX theatre one of your designated stops. ????
The place feels outdated. If you skip this, you really aren't missing anything.
Amazing movie, with an extremely clear sound!
Nice and clean, always good shows, not over crowded
Outdated theater , dirty and uncomfortable seats. I am not sure if I will go there again even if I get paid to go there. Needs a major renovation and upgrade to get it to a normal theater level
The facilitate is pretty run down. The 45 min movie about Niagara Falls is somewhat entertaining. The 'National Geographic' gift shop is nothing special. The retail price of entry is way too expensive but would worth the visit if you can get a discount coupon or promo price.
Must watch the movie.. it gives a very emotional attachment to the waters.
This place is the epitome of a tourist trap. A theater that plays one short film that is thirty to forty years dated and a tiny museum makes this a place I can't recommend.
Great selection.
Wonderfyl place to know a bit of Niagara falls history .we booked it online for imax and the little museum that they have. Tickets are cheap online rather than buying directly
Wow nice place to see movie's
The film on Niagara Falls rounded out our guests’ experience of Niagara. But the IMAX is like a theatre of the 70’s. Don’t eat there.
Nice IMAX. It was pretty neat learning about some of the people who tried to go over the falls in all of their different contraptions, then be able to go out in to the museum and actually see a lot of them. The location was nice and clean and the staff were nice. They have a great gift shop.
The National Geographic store is most likely the best thing about this place. The IMAX screen is nice and big but the content that they are playing seems a bit outdated and old.
Movie was informative n the barrel tour short enough.
Not worth the visit...so much history, but not in this movie!
Video and sound quality is clear.
Love the daredevil exhibit!!
Very interesting movie and museum.
Definitely seen better days. Great for nostalgic or educational value though.
Never ever go there...
Good show and museum attached.
The IMAX movie is stunning. I couldn't take my eyes off of it.
rather old and needs renovation. good for kids though
Such a fun experience. Had a great time at a great price and parking is cheap. Both the IMAX and Daredevil Experience were fantastic. Very education and fun. I would definitely recommend this outing.
Free parking lot nearby. Not sure if the parking lot is always free so check before going there
The story telling and movie is very informative and interesting
They should have closed this place long time ago.
Great show, loved it!!
Dated movie about the history and myths of the Niagara Falls was interesting!
It was very educational and the kids liked it. I think it could be upgraded a little bit. It was a great to do on a rainy day! The exhibit was pretty cool after as well!
did not play spiderman homecoming >:(((
A great place
A great throwback to the 80's. This place is still chugging along after all these years without an upgrade or even a whisper of a refresh. I wouldn't bother waste your money when you could probably find this archaic film on YouTube. The best part was the introduction to the movie as the theater still pretends IMAX is something new and out of this world.
Movie was ok, and about 40 minutes.
The movie teather and technology seems outdated. The movie looks like was filmed in the early 2000's. Dont waste your money in this. You might as well watch a documentary in youtube and save your money
I loved it.. Great experience... Awesome theater... Loved the movie of the history of Niagara Falls.. A must see
The IMAX theatre Is a great experience that shares a wonderful story. If you just need a place to sit and enjoy the big screens this is the place to go!
A little run down and the movie needs to be remade, but still enjoyable.
Bad Choice We visited this place because we had a coupon offering a half price discount. We still overpaid. The only thing older and in worse shape than this theatre is the movie they're showing. Look like something they made back in the 50's. The theatre itself is old and run down and badly in need of a major renovation. Considering the technology that exist today, this place is about 50 years behind the rest of the world. Do not waste your time or money here. There are many better attractions at the Falls.
Interesting facts about Niagara falls on the big screen
Our go to for first time visitors
as amazing as it gets.....gr8 history
Best movie experience with best sounds & effects
Makenna was so nice and helped us out so much! She’s a great employee and gives fantastic customer service!
It is very interesting PLACE
The movie is useless, uninteresting and uninformative. Save your time and money. It tells you almost no information about the history and geography of the area and instead it’s a lot of bad reenactments of notable moments. Even then, they give almost no detail or context and you have no idea what’s going on. Skip the movie. The museum of people going over the falls is, on the other hand, pretty interesting but very small. Takes about 20-30 minutes to go through.
Big big movie screen..
Great sound, comfortable chairs.
Wasnt sure st first but the venue is spacious and all seats offer a decent view.
The movie is not a typical Imax movie....it is outdated and not entertaining. It is 2D and does not take advantage of the screen.
Great sound and picture!
It seemed like the building and screen could be updated
Have a great time in the Canadian side .
It had an interesting film.
Weekend get away, great time, enjoyed the movie.
Fun time, love the national geographic shop!
The oldest imax theater in the whole galaxy
Great show. Interesting history of falls.
The IMAX theater was nice clean and the museum very cool. The Niagra movie was very old, 1986, so the HD we have on TVs is so much better. I would not spend my time or money there.
Horrible picture quality, film has dust specks and scratches all over it. The movie itself is uninformative, though the aerial footage looks nice. The "exhibition" is one room, even when reading every piece of information in there you're done in 20 minutes. Worst 20 CAD I've spent in a long time, tourist trap.
The movie is a little out dated, could use some improvements.
Its ok, not so great... You may skip this and spend that time to enjoy Niagra fall
Aged theater, Imax movie has to be from the 80's. Don't think it was winning any awards then either. The theater didn't even have any exterior lights on, or signage lit. We thought it might have closed down as we approached in the dark. Half the best rows of seats were blocked off/closed. Very disappointing...total waste of time and money, even on the discounted groupon.
I love this cheesy place. It is outdated but in a good way. Reminds me of the 90s. I enjoy visiting this place and cant wait till it reopens.
I thought it was very entertaining and the close up pictures of the Falls show the raw power of the Falls. You can tell much of it was filmed from a helicopter. Great pictures!!
The best history theater
Quite loud, but very interesting!
Decent, could use an update.
Went here for the "national geographic" store. Doesnt contain any nat geo memorabilia or items other than select books. Misleading and shouldn't be named accordingly
Your expectations for IMAX are really high, such a pity they have not redone this flick, with more history and less mystical prolonged legend. Really had an opportunity to impress, and yet they fall short. The sound is there the big screen is there, even pretty good buttered pop corn, it was more the content that disappoints. This place is like your little brothers t-ball team, no one really wins and yet we go, come on its IMAX.
Good show , interesting museum
The musuem is so small but all worker are nice
Not worth the money movie didn’t have a lot of history.
Fun place to view an IMAX movies.
I've been to Niagara Falls several times but never took the time to visit the IMAX theater. it's a different attraction to do while u are there to learn about the falls
A bit dated but still nice and fun. Very informative on the history of the falls. We got the popcorn. It was fresh and tasty.
Everyone working here was great! However after our day touring the city with a local guide I felt we knew more than the movie went through. It was also very outdated and kind of cheesy... But if you need to cool off and have a laugh with some popcorn have at it!
3 stars because i watched a movie where a cat kept changing colours it was tripping me out i was confused
Rundown and same movie being shown for the last 30 years.
I thought the movie was great and informative. I didn't know much about the history of the falls. I felt the facility (bathrooms and entry) could have been kept cleaner, but overall enjoyed the experience. Maybe offer other movies throughout the day to pull more revenue to keep things up?
As someone above said, it's paying to watch morons who have risked their lives going down the waterfalls just to become famous. The acting and whole film production seems to be made by amateurs in a garage. I would have acted better myself. Waste of time.
Wonderful place to start. The history of Niagara Falls is told
Same movie for the last 2 decades. They did not evolved with the technology. Subjects and history are still interesting.
It was the worst movie I've ever seen and the museum is 2 small rooms with very few exhibits. It was wayyyyyy too expensive! Do NOT go there!!!
Really good time, the movie is a bit dated, but the daredevil exhibit is really good
Daredevil museum was totally worth it. Movie wasn't what I expected but it was still a nice experience
Enjoyed the daredevil museum
Movie was interesting. Seating was horrible. Zero leg room.
not sure if it worth the visit
This place should be closed long time ago!! Everything is so OUT DATED in there. I would never go back there even it's free. When they played the movie you can see a big hair and all kind of black dusts on the white screen, very disgusting!!! COME ON ... it's almost 2020, it's a shameful that they never upgrade anything considering this is in the entertainment district in Niagara Falls. No wonder this place is empty on Sunday afternoon.
Daredevil was short but good information. Enjoyed the film.
It is the third time to come here. Just said I will come again and again.
Great show about Niagara Falls video and sound were awesome
Tourism attraction at tourism prices. IMAX screen plays a 45 minute film that's pretty good, but a little older.
Nothing amazing, if you do not have time to see it, you can miss it and not miss much. Video is outdated, need a new film in HD. Seems like this is from the 90's. Nothing special. Does have a gift show to pick up some souvenirs.
Yes, it may be a tourist trap but it is still informative and fun. Appreciated by kids and adults alike. The daredevil exhibit with barrels/contraptions that have taken adventurers over the falls is not to be missed!
Bought the Groupon (Admission for two to the movie and the daredevil museum for $20 Canadian which equals about $16 US) Movie was good. Lasted about 40 minutes. In the same building is the Daredevil Museum. It was pretty neat. They had probably 10 or 12 of the actual barrels and things that people had actually gone over the falls in over the years. Pretty neat. Well worth buying the Groupon and seeing the movie and the museum.
The Daredevil exhibit was good. The theater was nice. Movie could have been more informative.
The movie was very good and gave a little history about the falls. Run time was 40 minutes.
Wonderful place to learn a lot about the niagra falls and its history
not interesting .. never will attend again ..
Older, movie was interesting! Museum was also. Nice people. Good history!
Love this movie about the history of the falls. I've seen it 3 times and would watch it again!!!
Very cool
The theater looks old seat smelly needs renovation. The movie was somewhat ok.
Informative movie, but pricey gift shop.
Why is this thing still here? I got there only to park the car.
Worst imax I have been to. You'd think for a tourist trap destination they would upgrade that pathetic film. The last imax I went to was on Israel and I expected something along that caliber. Not even close. Don't waste your time.
Old tired needs a staff that actually looks like they want to be there.boring
on 4 headphones, 2 did not work. the movie is not the best on Niagara Falls
IMAX theater was very nice, sound and scenes were amazing (as they should be in an IMAX), however the content of the Niagara Falls movie was disappointing. I thought it was going to share the historical, factual, information about the falls; but it was about myths and legends. Which bored me.
Was a great short experience
We were just here not too long ago and I want to see that this is always an interesting place to visit. The theatre is Wally. And very comfortable to enjoy the feature. The staff and employees that work here are very courteous and very friendly. They help you find your way around very easily. This IMAX is always clean and tidy and meat
Good film and theater to watch
This IMAX Film adds to the overall experience of making the trip to Niagara Falls. Parking is only $2 on weekdays. Just make sure you have change on you as lot is not attended
Great movie though I think its time to update the show with more recent information about how tourism has evolved in the area and maybe more stories of daredevils taking on the falls.
Thearte is very good and parking is just 6 dollar.don't forget to carry coins to pay for parking
The movie started... and it was suddenly familiar. I saw this same movie 20 years ago, you'd think with great new film technology that they'd have updated this to be more modern. Rather disappointed.
not maintained well
