bad memory ！！！！！It rained yesterday and my movie started at 10:30, and I knew there would be 15 minutes of commercials. So by the time I got to the theater, the doors were locked, and I knocked on the door, and the staff inside didn't answer. There were about five or six crew members, and they just pretended not to hear. By the time I kept knocking on the door, by 11:00pm, someone finally answered the door. I had the worst movie experience ever, ever coming to Canada. Because I felt cold after watching Free Guy, I went home to change my clothes, and then I found the door locked. Those 20 minutes made me very desperate. It was raining heavily outside and the staff inside were indifferent. Let's hope Ower gets his act together. I may never go back to this movie theater again. fk bad memory！！！

Well kept theatre, and often spacious enough you can grab tickets 15-30mins before a showtime and still get your preferred seats thanks to revered seating for all showings.

TLDR: Standard movie theatre experience, good food, cold drinks, very clean. A well staffed and well managed branch of Landmark Cinemas. Well there is nothing that makes this particular branch stand out from any other stand movie theatre experience there is nothing to take away from it either. Popcorn is always hot, the rest of the menu well stocked, drinks are always good, staff is consistently friendly and the place is always clean.

I really like this cinema. I always have. But there are a few things that could change - I would rather like the option of salt for my popcorn. Apparently that's not a healthy choice, but it's sort of bland without. And parking can be an interesting thing, especially with half the lot closed for the construction right now. Nothing that the Landmark can really do about that, though.

Drink machines were pretty dirty, had caked on mess. Two different ones malfunctioned before I tried the third. When I tried the rootbeer it sprayed this gross mist all over my hand and cup. And on the second machine the touch screen just wasn't responding at all. I was also disappointed I couldn't order a coffee of any kind at the concession booth. I don't always want a cold sugar drink especially during winter months. Aside from that the theatre was quite nice. Especially the reclining seats.

went to a weekday afternoon show and the theatre was mostly empty which was excellent. staff were polite and friendly. place was very clean and the seating was nice. had popcorn too. a bit salty but I knew it would be. overall the experience was pretty good. the new pop machines are a nice touch. 9/10.

Quite a nice place to see a movie. Love the pop machines, the popcorn is excellent, the seats are good, stadium seating, and better prices than Cineplex. Liked the reserved seating for regular movies and not just the AVX. The bathroom was clean but the hallways need to be cleaned between showings.

As long as you buy your tickets in advance, this cinema is amazing. If you don't, you are left with automated ticket booths that don't work, staff that look miserable, and, as with every cinema, over priced snacks and beverages. The theatres themselves are great with comfortable seats and great picture/ sound quality.

I am a social worker that uses this theater once a week, I love the staff as they are friendly and always treat my clients with respect. My one and only complaint is that they don't offer matinee everyday of the week all year long, I would be great if the theater could change this.

Theatres need to have sound checks. Last movie I saw the bass would rattle the ceiling badly. Sound interference takes away from the movie experience. Pls revise.

I only buy my tickets using the atom app now as it's quite fantastic. The reason for the lower rating though is for the state of the theatres. Some of them have tape on the screens for where it has ripped. This tape is visible during the movie and breaks the immersion.

Fully Reclined Large Screen with Laser Projection and Atmos in a spacious theatre with extra spacing for safety in these times. Yes please. Drive all the way from Hamilton to get my large screen movie fix safely. P.S. Their layered butter popcorn is on point.

We love going to this theater mainly due to the ticket deal you can get at Costco. 2 Movie passed, 2 Regular Drinks and 2 Regular Popcorn comes out to just over $20. The staff have always been pretty friendly at this location, but I wish they would switch the ticket process back to the old method, not everyone wants to purchase something from the concession stand, and not everyone feels comfortable using the ticket machines they have at the front of the establishment. You often end up standing in line longer than you thought you would due to this, but overall, it's not that bad.

Oh they've upgraded! I don't go to the movies a lot and the last time I did, they had those regular boring, uncomfortable seats. Now it's all different. They've got those fancy recliners with build in cup holders. Going to the movies is luxurious! And the movie was only 5 bucks. Concession is always where they make money, so no surprises there, and we did get snacks. Definitely returning.

I prefer Cineplex, but Landmark is a very good option if you want to see a movie in St. Catherine's. Theatre was not too crowded during the late show and there are lots of options for snacks and drinks. They also do early in the day showtimes, which is nice. Lots of theatres means lots of different options to choose from.

Excellent new reserved seating guarantees you get the seat you want and don't have to worry about rushing in. Great drink choices and lots of flavors. We always get the movie pass which saves about $15 over the course of 10 tickets, plus 10% off concessions and in the summer a coupon pack is included. The sound quality is great, I have only experienced low volume in the past but now it is high. Edit: Even more pleased now with the new Laser Ultra! The feel of the recliners and being able to put your feet up with ease, the sound of the new Dolby Atmos, and the picture is just immaculate. Very very pleased!

I just saw the newest Bad Boys movie at this location and it was great. They provide free refills on popcorn and drinks if you buy the large. I noticed one reviewer (Wendy) only gave 2 stars. I will warn people that if you come on a Tuesday (cheap night), then yes it will be busy, the lines will be long... that is not the fault of the Theatre. It's possible there was not enough staff on the night she went to the movies, however, when you go anywhere on a busy night, expect it to be busy. I mean, if you go to a Leafs - Sabres game, do you think it will be busy at the border? At the arena? etc? Sometimes you have to know what you are walking into. Don't go to a Costco on a Saturday afternoon and complain that they are too busy. Anyway, my experience with this theatre has been great every time we've gone to the movies.

High prices but par for the course I guess. Seating is good so long as you don't make the mistake of sitting on the side balcony seats. I did and ended up with the pole and bar blocking 50% of the movie screen. I've also on TWO occasions INJURED myself there. The cup holders do not securely adhere one. Once it was missing so when I sat down the sharp metal cut my leg bad. The second time (I have fibromyalgia) I used it to help myself sit and it flung off and I fell. Both times the staff made excuses, minimized the situation saying "it happens" and offered no first aid for my apparent bleeding leg. They did take a report butI never heard back. I stick to cineplex now.

I really enjoyed my seats to see Deadpool 2. We had a great time. This facility is clean and the seats are reasonably comfortable. I believe that you need to get out and enjoy a movie on the big screen. There's nothing like seeing a movie like this. A large popcorn and watching a movie at this cinema is a great time.

I've come to this theatre a fair amount since starting university in the area. I've had great experiences here. Easy to get tickets. Fast and friendly service at the concessions. Plenty of parking (although you might have to walk a little ways if it's busy). Never been disappointed here.

One at this location and another in the Fairview mall which seemed appropriate to me but I was only a wee little lad. The pricing isn't bad here, better than the one in the falls. If you can manage, I would suggest going here. You won't be paying an arm & a leg either for your snacking needs. The screens themselves are amazing, providing the best quality in some theaters, depending on the film at hand. Wonder we have to pay for the glasses though as they just get recycled anyways.

I always loved coming here for date nights. A classic place to go see a movie and enjoy popcorn. They'll put some butter halfway in the bag if you ask. The pop machines are the fancy ones so you can order nearly every pop you can think of. Some people get a little too creative for my tastes, but at least the option is there. It's a shame people can't go since the whole COVID nightmare.

Was not overly impressed when moving back to St. Catharines from Hamilton where we had the Stoney Creek Silvercity theatre. Landmark looks cheap and functions in odd space. Prices and concession remain pretty standard to the competition. Needs a major redesign....too bad it would leave the city without a single alternative that doesn't require a trip to the falls.

Prices are quite high, the concession prices are crazy, but the theatre is very clean, in a great location, and I always enjoy my time when I am here. Some theatres are quite a bit smaller than others so be careful when choosing which movie you see. Also, I appreciate that they have shows late at night! I would highly recommend!

This has been my go to theater since we moved down here. Overall it's a good theater that is well maintained. Over the covid shutdown they replaced seats with leather power recliners which were very comfortable. Can't speak for concession stand as we stopped eating at the theatre a long time ago. Don't need the calories. The presentation was very clear and the audio system was good Only complaint was there was dead air after trailers for 30 minutes before the movie started

At first I hated the concept of choosing your seat ahead because...well, isn't the drama of finding a seat healf the fun (and inconvenience) of going to the theater? So first time I went there, I discarded the seat assignment, and sat wherever I wanted. I knew the theater was going to be dead... But lo and behold, in a sparse theater of maybe 8 others, the one person who's bought that seat request I move. She barely spoke English and was concerned someone "would check tickets." So.. it's not a theater for the rebel heart. Lol. The establishment is pretty clean...but I don't know...I just don't like it...I don't know ow why. Like, even the claw machine literally has the cruddiest toys. The food isn't even that expensive, and overall it's a good time for everyone, but because of the assigned seats, I can't help but feel like I'm missing out on the organic theater experience. So at first I hated it, and I guess I still do, but I can maybe appreciate why they set it up like this. You know, catering to the type A planner. Petty, I know. But I still gave 4 stars!

The movie theatre is large and always clean, the washrooms are modern, the movie picture and sound quality is superb. It's worth the price to watch a movie. Theres not that many showtimes and there are limited movies but still great! It's not busy on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and you should look for gift card or dinner deals, they can save you money. I must say that the food quality is extremely poor, never buy the nachos, I thought they came fresh but they recently switched to Bagged Nachos and it's hard and stale. The cheese, salsa, and jalapeno were all very disgusting and overpriced. Overall, absolutely great place to watch a normal movie, but you should not come hungry, the food is trash.

Went to go and see Dune today (the movie was terrible lol) but, every single staff member there made the night memorable. We were there around 6.45 pm. The lady at the concession was such a sweetheart, we were happily walking in when we were informed that there was an issue with our tickets but we were promptly accommodated. My sister recently fell and badly broke her shoulder in your theatre. On the 8th October. She is disabled and had to leave her seat during the playing of the movie, there are no handrails and it was dark. All she has been offered is a pair of tickets to re-see the movie. Caught covid after seeing Spiderman no way home Theater was severely understaffed, drink machines were extremely dirty and I did not see a single staff member cleaning any surfaces. Shame on the owners for not properly staffing. If you can't afford to staff enough employees to keep up with demand, especially during a pandemic you should go out of business or close until you can staff appropriately.

We enjoyed this theatre. Mind you we went on a sunny Sunday afternoon- so it wasn't busy. The food was good & reasonable compared to other theatres. LOVE the self serve pop...especially choosing flavoured WATER...I like getting a large drink- but prefer no sugar. So making your own Dasani was nice- choosing your own flavour was even better. Theatre was large & screen seemed bigger than most. Only complaint would be that the arms are stationary- so no extra arm room.

Noise complaint, I don't know why but this was the third time I had watched the Joker at this theater and sadly the noise was set to ear drum damaging levels. The other two times were great. Just wish someone would have been more careful with regards to audio levels. I would stay away from room 7 for anyone that values their hearing!!! I received a full refund for my ticket and the staff were very nice about it :).

I'm rating this a 4 because the cinema is a little outdated, some of the newer cinemas you can lift the arm rest and the seats incline but there is a lot I like about this cinima. I like that you can get the food and tickets in the same line. I like the combo they have here better. The staff is really friendly. My daughter loves filling her own drink. All in all a good experience bathrooms and seating area kept clean

Poor accessibility for the disabled. There are only a handful of parking spots for the disabled, which are almost always full. Consequently, most of the time I--who cannot walk or stand easily--either walk a considerable distance to get into the movie theater or I simply go back home. Once inside, patrons wait in the same line for tickets and concessions, meaning that patrons stand in line about 15 minutes to get into the show. Clearly, the company is trying to encourage people to purchase tickets on-line, but if a disabled person uses an Access pass , he or she is stuck inching along in a very long line, which is extremely difficult for those who cannot walk or stand well. A solution would be to have a separate line with the word "Access" and the disabled logo.

Clean and very comfortable. The COVID-19 protocols are very good to see the enforcement. You can't buy food or drinks at the movies due to the provincial restrictions as of December 29th 2021, but still had a great time. Worth the 20 minute drive from Niagara Falls and much better than going to the Cineplex in Niagara.

There aren't really any other options (read: competition) if you want to see a movie in St Catharines but despite this the theatre is well maintained. The seats are comfortable and video and audio quality are excellent. There are 10 screens so there are also a lot of options when it comes to movie selection.

The last few times we have visited this theatre it has been dirty - I had to use my foot to move popcorn off the floor so I could step up to the counter to buy tickets, the pop machines were sticky and dirty, there was napkins, pop and popcorn all over the lobby floors not to mention the stink of stale popcorn in the actual cinema. The last visit we were so cold - this visit it was disgustingly humid so along with the smell this wasn't pleasant. Saw so many staff members just standing around - how about cleaning up??

Went to see the RUSH movie tonight. Was supposed to start at 7pm but still had not started by 7:25pm as everyone just sat in total silence looking at a blank screen. One of the attendants said she was going to get a manager but never came back and no explanation as we sat and waited. We finally got up and left.

Was in Theater 8 (All Reclining Seats). They did not have the air conditioning on or set too high so it did not come on. The hallways were cold compared to the temp in Theatre 8. Asked Manager to address. She said it would not cool down in time and it did not. If they know this, they need to monitor the temperature. Everyone I spoke to in last 2 rows after the show were soaked right through from sitting in the leather recliners with no air conditioning. So uncomfortable it ruined the movie for our group, which is too bad because the reclining seats would have been great otherwise.

I always enjoy going to this theatre it usually has all the top movies. the line ups to get tickets are never bad but the line up for concessions is often huge. If you want to eat snacks get there early. the theatre is clean and modern.

Have not been to the movies in a long time. Well before they started with reserving your seats. Did not just want to give a star rating. So much as changed, I felt it was a much better experience of moving people in line so that it would not take 30 mins just to get popcorn. Service I found to be great and friendly. Only thing would be that the prices of popcorn and pop is still insanely high, but that is normal right? Who can refuse not getting popcorn when you smell fresh popcorn and that butter? Not this guy.

Seats a filthy all the time, theatres stink like they haven't been cleaned. Had an awful experience waiting 30minutes for a delayed movie and was given a "free" pass. Came for my "free" and was told certain companies don't allow these coupons on their films... so they now want me to pay for another movie after having an awful experience to begin with? I was under the impression I was getting a free movie and this is the only reason I chose to return here. I will not do so in the future.

Ever since landmark took over it has been generally a positive experience to visit here. This is actually our preferred cinema over Cineplex because of the seat.

The line up for popcorn was extremely long. Arrived 25 minutes before movie started and still didn't have enough time to purchase popcorn because line was moving very slowly. Then the line up to fill your pop cup was also ridiculously long and time consuming!

Went there today. This theatre was disgusting the floors were a mess the garbage was over flowing. There was a used diaper on the floor. The mens room was a disgrace I have seen cleaner places in third world countries Needless to stay i would neber ho back and will tell all my friends about. I gave it one star only cause i had to. The owners should be ashamed

Very poor service. We bought tickets for a family event and then there was a snow storm. We called the theater and the manager told us the only way to get a refund was to drive through the snow storm to come to the theater in person. Over $100.00. Very poor customer service.
