Nicely renovated with power recliners and designated seats for everyone. Only caveat was sometimes their systems couldn't keep up with the movie and there was stuttering and buffering issues. While I might get accept that at home while streaming video, it's not something I ever expect or want in the movie theater experience.

Love. Love. Love this theater! I'd go just for the amazing lounge seating, but there are other great things too. The parking is free and convenient. The admission prices are lower. Plus I appreciate the classy, entrance hallways that don't try to overstimulate my senses as I'm trying to buy snacks or find my theatre. I'll be back to put my feet up here again many times.

I enjoyed the short time passed there. I thought I'd be cheaper cause the place seems a bit dusty and old but actually the screen where I watched spider man far from home was pretty nice, clean and comfortable. Those seats are great. It was cool.

Small theatre with flat floors (not elevated seating) and small screen . Would be worth it if the price didn't go up. Almost cost as much as a regular Cineplex movie. Service is not the best.. but its what to be expected being ran by highschool kids ..

Small theatre but the cheap price and the spacious reclining chairs in almost all the theatres make for a fantastic moviegoing experience. The sound and picture quality for a theatre of this size is outstanding. A bit more variety would be ideal in terms of food and refreshments, but definitely a theatre that I will continue to revisit

Amazing small/medium sized theatre with comfort held at most valuable. Smaller audience calls for less noise within the theatre and more intimate setting. The recliners are extremely clean and comfortable and food & drinks are very reasonably priced compared to other theatres. Would recommend!

Not the best Imagine Cinemas location. The interior is outdated and smelt a little funny. Our seats were dirty and had not been properly cleaned from the previous movie. Besides this, the chairs are very comfortable, and prices are affordable compared to other theatres, however I prefer the Promenade location.

Very different experience from any other movie theatre. The seats are unusually comfortable! The only reason there is no 5 starts, is the quality of the sound system. Hopefully they would work on that as well.

The seats are comfy/advanced and the price is reasonable. I usually order my tickets online but the service over there is good. They got popcorn and drinks and some games. Also, they got cool stuff to take pics with i.e. lol minions and spider man. Yes, I recommend it :).

I love Imagine Cinema, it's always a great experience. The reclining seats are the best. It's always clean and well cared for. Such a great way to watch a movie. The ticket prices are so reasonable, the snacks always fresh. It's my go-to theatre with the kids every time. I've got a tone of free movie points I could use at the *other over-sized crazy place, but would rather pay for a seat at Imagine Cinema Elgin Mills any day.

Everyone gets their own recliner. You pick your seats when you order tickets. It's like 80ish seats per screen. Snacks are not super expensive. Staff is great. The screens could use updating. Or maybe it's the projector that needs updating? And they have a family washroom.

Nice theatre, big screen, good sound quality, amazing seats. Floor doesn't slope much so a shorter person will have trouble seeing over the seat in front. That's really the only bad thing I can think of. Staff was very friendly and helpful, it was fun talking with them

If you live anywhere remotely near by you have to go to Imagine Cinemas Elgon Mills. It is cheaper than other theater and the seats are better than VIP. They don't serve food, but you won't miss it. Just go out for dinner before or after the show.

This has kinda replaced Cineplex for me because of cheaper tickets and all their theatres are equipped with leather recliners!! Also worth mentioning that concessions are cheaper and food is slightly better (imo) than Cineplex! Movie screens are great and sound quality is great!

They installed absolutely amazing chairs, you can un-fold it, stretch your legs and watch movie very comfortably. There are also fewer spots in a theatre so make sure you are early enough to get good spot.

Affordable, clean, pleasant staff, leather recliners for ALL seats.. that's right, ALL SEATS. $0.50 upsize charge for popcorn and soda. Popcorn Seasoning station. Real butter.. I could go on.. If you haven't been, you won't regret it!

Food is expensive as hell but it's what you expect from a movie theater (they know you'd rather pay more than walk to the next store dolorama for snacks). My advice: Bring your own snacks :) Chairs are extremely comfy and location is very clean. Not experienced enough with staff to comment about the customer service.

I was lucky enough to be invited to this little gem of a theatre and absolutely love it. I don’t go to Cineplex anymore. The idea of not being mickle and dimes to death is refreshing. You can reserve your seat at no extra charge, not to mention you get free toppings for your popcorn. The ticket prices are reasonable as well. I hope the owners of Imagine don’t let it go to their heads and jack up the prices. I love this theatre, don’t ever change. Two thumbs up!!

Awesome place service and seats. The website however is garbage and cannot take too many traffic. Really frustrating to have the pages crash then the session timer not reset after re trying. Had great seats taken away for this reason. Get a new software!

It's what's inside that counts. It's not a spectacular looking place from the outside...but the inside is quite the gem! Tickets are competitively priced but the real crown jewl are what the new renovations brought in. The seats. The huge, soft, exceptionally comphey, fully reclining seats. Want to watch a movie in a seat that's probably nicer than the one you have at home (or even those ones at the overpriced Cineplex premium experience movies)? Maybe you're just looking to take a nice 2 hour nap and aren't bothered by loud sounds. Well this is the place for you. Now that I've seen what's inside, I'll be back.

Reclining seats were as comfortable as my friend described them, 10/10 just for that. Decent amount of people and very nice & polite staff. Food prices are alright too. Will be avoiding Cineplex after being here.

A quite cinema to watch your movie of choice. All the seats are reclining chairs. You can reserve your seat at the time of your purchase. No big lineups. No need to get to the movie theater a head of time since your seat is selected. The screen is smaller than modern cinemas like Cineplex and the sound effects are not as effective. It is good to watch romantic movies or cartoons there since sound effect and screen size does not make a big impact.

Great little cinema with amazing powered leather reclining seats and a more intimate movie experience. The cinema seating area is clean and comfortable. We noticed however the screen in our theatre was dirty and this somewhat drew our attention from the movie every now and then due to weird fuzzy blur in that area. The concession should expand its offering of food and should lay off the salt a little bit on the nachos.

This theatre has amazing prices and fantastic seats. Why would you pay to go anywhere else? The theatres are smaller but the comfort level is 15/10 - the chairs prop up for your feet and you pick your seats when you buy your tickets and there is so much room. Always coming here now.

Extremely grateful for the renovations - this is a VIP movie experience. Great for dates and family outings, so much better than Cineplex. The reclining chairs are truly unbeatable! This is how all theaters should innovate in the face of Netflix and other streaming sources.

Nice small local cinema. I think there are 8 or 9 screens here. The seats are super comfortable, powered recliners with lots of leg room. A lot of families hold kids parties here.

Awesome seating that reclines electronically. Good movie selection, pretty much all the new releases you'd expect. Screen size is smaller than Cineplex, seems like it is still digital projection and the threatre seats fewer people, which I think is a plus. They don't charge a premium for reserved seating which is a real plus. I haven't tried any of the food at the concessions.

This is an amazing theatre that offers comfy reclinable seats for just a general admission at $12 including tax! For this low price, you get the same movies you can find at other theatres but you also get incredible leg room, a couch like recliner seat, and a smaller theatre which gives you a great view from anywhere. They have multiple movies playing a day and so it is an incredible place to watch a movie. I always go to this theatre now instead of SilverCity because it is cheaper and the quality is better.

Nice cinema theater with comfortable seatings. Less crowded in the weekdays and crowded in the weekends. I see more population of teenagers. There is a self printing machines located when you enter the cinema theater. All the screens and the food court is located downstairs. Washrooms are not clean. Overall Ok place to go watch movies with family and friends.

The auditoriums are the ideal size and the seats are very comfortable, great sound and screen. However, I cannot give 5 stars because the popcorn is always very salty. We've been to this cinema many times but on the odd times we bought popcorn it made our lips burn. Please correct this because when you charge the same price as competitors I'd expect the exact same quality or better.

Disgusting place does anyone ever work there? Popcorn so old!!! A lot of inappropriate behaviour from the workers was not impressed at all. Also I saw they kicked out 2 under aged boys to see the new horror film IT and then the usher was bribed and let others in. Unexepytable. Do NOT expected my friends and family to ever come back. It may look old on the outside but they renovated their seats and they are sooo comfy! They recline, have foot support and there's plenty of room in between rows. Staff were friendly too! Will definitely go there again!

This place just installed really comfy new lounge recliners for some of the cinemas. And Imagine is still far more affordable for a family outing to the movies. Their Tuesday deals are really great, but buy tickets early as those tend to sell out quickly.

this place went thru so much change recently. new seating is very comfortable and it is so comfortable laying on the sofa seat that i didnt notice my cell phone slipped out of my pocket. after figuring it out i returned to the cinema and the staff G WAN promptly led me to office and there it was, safe and found. nice place and superb staff. will come back to enjoy the movies every tims.

They have amazing comfortable with the client and chairs but the popcorn is not very good. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and if you have to go I recommend using the family washroom. they are definitely in need of an upgrade

Cool theatre - I like that you can add as much butter as you like to the popcorn. The reclining seats are novel, however, even though I am more than average in height, I found that the seats in front of us obstructed our view of the bottom of the screen unless the individuals in front reclined their seats. The audio experience was good and I was able to hear and understand all the dialogue. I've found in some big franchise theatres that there is too much on "big sound" and to much low end bass for big explosions which results in conversations being hard to follow at times. Overall pretty good and would visit again.

I am so glad that there are old theaters upgrading themselves and still staying open this is much better alternative to the larger chain cinemas. The service is absolutely amazing at this theater the popcorn taste incredible the prices are very inexpensive I may speak for themselves. these theaters have lazy boy type recliners so you can watch a movie in absolute comfort with your feet up. There is a large parking lot available here and the facilities inside or absolutely spotless I've never seen a public place cleaner than this theater. I highly recommend you stop going to the larger chain cinemas and start coming to the imagine cinemas you will absolutely thank me for doing so

Nice prices but like any theater, the food is pricey. Seats are incredible as they recline. Very cozy and screen is pretty big. Sound and bass are also very good. No issues I've ever come across and I come here a lot. Special sales on Tuesdays for cheaper tickets.

This theatre is bomb. Newly renovated! The Theatre: RESERVED SEATING. That's hundo P a great thing, why? No musical chair battles for seats AND they're all LAZY BOY CHAIRS in all theatres. Powered seats. #LeanBack, and they do a much better job now keeping the theatre clean. Price: All I gotta say...$5-7 movies. Enough said. Food: The food selection isn't huge, your typical popcorn candies and fountain drinks, nachos with salsa. I don't remember seeing much. Movie Selection: Mostly the selections are a hit. Try it out for yourselves, buy your tickets in advance online and jump the line :)

Comfortable luxury reclining chairs and friendly staff. Overall, it’s a great movie theatre even though the screens are a bit smaller than cineplex but most of the time it’s not really overcrowded so it’s a great theatre to watch a movie with your friends and family.

Formerly rainbow cinemas. The automatic seats are a welcome upgrade throughout. Shocked at how cozy and comfortable they are. More comfy than cineplex VIP if you can believe it. Only downside is it isnt stadium seating, but great upgrade and local low cost theatre. Usually first shows on weekends so not sure of crowd during the week or later, but i imagine tweens. Popcorn prices are still silly, but whatever. Good theatre.

After upgrading to reclining seats we came and watched a couple of movies. The seats are comfy and the theater has good movies playing. However, if the seats are wiped clean will even be better! Carry some wet wipes if you are a neat freak. The overall experience was good.

I absolutely love this theatre. Great prices, super comfortable seating, the best tasting popcorn (which also doesn't break the bank), and really friendly staff. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because you do lose the screen/sound quality of a bigger theatre and some of the auditoriums have slight screen issues. Still love it either way.

Watched multiple movies here. The recently installed leather recliner seats are definitely a major improvement from before when it was under Rainbow Cinemas. They're comfy as well as spacious meaning you don't have to remain in one position throughout the film. Great overall.

Pros - are inexpensive pricing, amazing seats, reasonable concession prices, cozy. Cons - People sneak into theatres and sit in assigned seats. Seen this happen 3 times. Maybe staff should do rounds and check. Kinda sad for the paying customers that others are able to sneak in.

The prices are cheaper the Cineplex, with the same movie offerings. Concessions are cheaper as well, and the seats are the super comfortable recliner chairs. The only downside is because I am sensitive to smells - every theatre I've been in has a bad odour. I think it may be the old carpets.

A cheaper alternative to other theatres like Cineplex. If you just want to see a movie, this is the perfect place. Their recliners are amazing and there is tons of legroom so you won't be blocking others from leaving when they need to walk by.

Nothing beats 12$ tickets attached to reclining comfy chairs. However the layout varies from cinema to cinema so it can be tricky knowing what will be a good seat. A cute, somewhat retro vibe pervades the whole place and staff are cheerful and ready to help. Picking up your tickets is superbly simple and I've never had any issues with it. It can get very busy like any other cinema at peak times, but the relatively smaller space makes it feel even more cramped.

Awesome place. This theater was originally built in the 80s and was closed for around 10 years before it reopened as a budget theater. It might be cheaper than the massive SilverCity theaters, but the movie offerings are still up to date and the concessions are way cheaper. The best thing about this theater though, are the seats Every seat in the theater is a power recliner with cup holders, making for not a bad seat in the house.

Pricing is $12 per ticket which to me is still expensive, however all seats are leather recliners. The biggest problem with this theatre is the doors are on the same level as the theatre so people will go in and out constantly and disrupt your movie experience.

I much prefer this theatre over Cineplex. The seats are much more comfortable and spacious. The reclining feature is great. Cineplex now has assigned seating because of COVID, but prior to that I liked Imagine’s assigned seating for all theatres, and not just the gimmicky and more expensive ones like Cineplex (VIP, UltraAVX, IMAX).

Been here a couple times now. A little bit cheaper than Cineplex. It’s biggest advantage is the comfort: great wide seats with buttons for reclining. Very comfortable. The theatres and screen are smaller, but that did not affect the experience too much for me. I definitely recommend.

What an awesome theatre to watch movies! Even though the screen sizes are smaller than Cineplex screens, they make up for it by having super comfortable, reclining seats that are motorized with foot rests that come up. Purchasing tickets online is super easy and convenient and you get to choose your preferred seats. The snacks offered are at a good price point. Totally recommended place to watch your favourite movies!

Edit April 2017: The theatre has been rebranded to Imagine Theatres and now have these awesome reclining chairs. Surprisingly on a Friday night, the place is still pretty quiet which actually makes it more appealing to me. Staff were friendly. Tickets are only $10 for basically a VIP experience. And only $5 on Tuesdays according to the signs. Great deal! The theatre is small and cozy and clean. There usually isn't a crowd here which I like. It's my go-to theatre for movies that don't need that big cinematic sound effect which is about 70% of the movies I want to watch. It has smaller screens and doesn't sound as big as an IMAX or UltraAVX compared to Cineplex, but definitely much better than anything the average home theatre can do. Its electric reclining chairs are a million times more comfortable, can lift your legs, sit cross-legged, and much more spacious. The seats are more comfortable than Cineplex VIP for about 1/3 of the price. The fact there's fewer people there also means there's less light pollution with phones being used mid-movie and fewer inconsiderate people talking. It helps that the food prices are much more reasonable as well.

They recently installed luxury reclining seats in all of their theatres and start doing reserved seating, all of them with no extra cost. Super comfortable seat and ability to completely stretch your legs without disturbing others. Their price is already cheaper than Cineplex, and with better seats and not having to show up early to get good seats. They also don't do that "3D only during popular time for popular movies so you have no choice but pay $3 extra" shenanigan. There's no extra commercial past scheduled showtimes, only trailers, and the movie start earlier than Cineplex. The theatres are quite old and small, but it gives more classic and intimate vibe.

You can host Birthday Parties here - and if you have children this is a great location because there are not any arcade games or coin candy/prize machines for your child to see - because in my experience once they see these machines they are going to ask you for money, and will likely become upset if you say no.

OMG!!! This place amazing. The building is old, but the seats recline. That was the best seats I ever satin in the movie theatre. I have say in other seats that have speakers and move with the sound of the movie, but the seats at this theatre is really relaxing your feet stretches out in your back laying backwards it has a big cup holder and a clear view of the screen. It needs a few upgrades, but overall I had a great experience I watch The Lion King. People, please please please visit this place.

Pros: it's cheap. And yes that's it. This theater, other than the cheap price, has no redeeming factors. The movie watching experience is terrible, with cramped seating, terrible audio quality in the speakers, and light leaking into the dark auditorium because nobody decides to close the doors into the auditorium. Avoid at all costs if you're looking for a good movie experience!

Imagine large leather lazyboy seating while watching an awesome blockbuster movie on a big screen. The only downside of this location is the bathrooms are almost always a mess and almost always need to be restocked.

Watched Spiderman movie with my kids on the evening of Christmas day. Of course everyone knows about their super comfy recliner seats. Good distance between different parties and no eating or drinking in theaters but they told us to hold onto our tickets and on our way out, they would give each one a drink and a snack which they did. The above 4 stars rating is completely justified. The has friendly workers and is never crowded unless it's the first week of preview of a huge movie but what can you expect? The snack bar consists of lot's of snacks which is priced better than cineplex. The best part for me are definitely the reclining leather seats. It makes for an amazing movie experience and the screen and sound is great. Movie rooms don't have as many seats as cineplex which makes for an uncrowded experience inside. Awesome place to go to and definately better than cineplex.

It's a small theatre with limited selection, but they put client comfort before anything else. They used to have a really cool refill policy that they have since abolished. I'd love to see that back. You can fall asleep in their recliners if the movie isn't to your liking. Their prices are a couple of bucks cheaper than cineplex and their chairs are amazing. I go out of my way to come here if they are showing a movie that I want to see.

Comparing to Cineplexthe cinema is dated a bit and each theatre is smaller with smaller screen. But the great thing about this cinema is that lots of theatres (if not all) are equipped with big cushioned reclining seats that are soooo comfortable with lots of room in front. The wheelchair can even be wheeled in front of let say the seat in the middle of a row. $8/adult on Tuesdays.

The ticket prices are quite good compared to the other theatres in the area (snack prices are pretty much the same). Even on discount Tuesday's I've always still been able to get seats for new releases during prime time. Their new poofy reclining chairs are very comfortable and you can now choose your seat.

Pay regular admission price and enjoy a movie in a comfortable reclining chair! You can purchase tickets online and choose your seats in advance. But even the seats closest to the screen are not too close. The screens are a bit smaller than the other big cinemas but it didn't take away from the experience. Place is kept clean. Amazing seats, I would say it's better than Cineplex VIP! Didn't have much interactions with the employees considering it used computers for tickets (which was easy to use) and I did not buy food. Went to watch a movie last night and the line up was very long due to the fact that they only accept the proof of vaccination that's a pdf and not the green screen one with a bar one that makes everyone's life easy, the reason was " we don't have a scanner " I think they should mention the accepted forms of vaccination passport and not make people wait at the door for so long. Unless this changes in the future I think choosing another theater would be the choice of many people I saw at the door waiting the way I did.

I came on here today to write a good review of this theatre due to the fact that I have attended this theatre many times and have always had a good experience. However upon reading reviews especially one on this page by Lewis Kelly I am disgusted. Mr. Kellys review of this theatre and one of it employees is blatently racist. First of all when you begin your review referring to an employee as "this dark lady" it is communicated that the issue first and foremost is the persons skin colour. Secondly, jumping to the conclusion that this person stole money without much evidence is textbook prejudice and would cause any reasonable person to ignore it. However, Imagine cinemas did not. They fully validated this man's racism. As a result, I will never attend this theater or any imagine entertainment facilities in the future. This post by Mr. Kelly brings to light the unseen abuse hard working people of colour have to deal with on a regular basis north of Steeles. What Mr Kelly's post communicates is that there are people out there who can not stand to hear "no"from a person in a postion power who does not look like them. Now he has turned around and and is blatantly trying to get this person fired. This happens all the time and it is all about power and control. It is sad that this company is validating and enabling this behaviour. They will not get a dime from me again.

I prefer this theatre over the Cineplex theatres in the area because of the reclining chairs. In other theatres you would have to pay extra for a feature like this, but in this theatre they seem to come standard which is a big plus. Also prices seem to be similar to Cineplex. Location is convenient right on Yonge St.

Staff are very helpful. Some screens seem to have rough texture which may distract some of us --it bothered me--but others are okay. One of the few cinemas that opens early afternoon.

Nice new comfortable seats that are oversized and recline. It is a bit of a 'non-standard' theatre in some ways as it is - at least everytime we have been there - lightly manned. Audio issues on occasion - we had the descriptive video going on in one movie and in another they forgot to turn the sound on. That is 2 out of 3 for us so weird - but still the seats are comfy.

Workers are very sloppy and not honest (although, i can't base all workers off one worker who did not give back 10$ to me when i handed in 20$ for a 10$ movie ticket). Also to add to that they don't give you a receipt back if you pay for a ticket at the food booth/place not sure if they do upstairs but that was really bad as i couldnt show I payed 20$ for a 10$ movie ticket. The floors are really sticky and nasty in the movie theatre. The popcorn and nachos are not very good. And everything is pretty expensive.

The seats are nice but that's about it. The customer service isn't very good. We bought popcorn, drinks, nachos and my wife wanted ice because she was craving it. We were told we had to pay $5 for a cup to get ice. After going back and forth they gave us 4 small ice cubes in this tiny cup. They wouldn't even let us bring our own cup for ice. I understand that they make money through food and drinks but I found that so unreasonable. We ended up paying the $5 for some ice. They made an extra $5 but lost 2 returning customers.

I usually don't write reviews, but I went to this theatre this weekend and was served by this dark lady with black curly hair (I assume she's the manager cause she wasn't wearing a uniform). I made a big purchase, buying two double combos for my family and some candy as well , and this lady would REFUSE TO GIVE ME MY RECEIPT! When I asked politely what's the reason for it she tried to shrug it off saying "you don't need it sir." I asked again politely and she refused AGAIN! She is an extremely rude person and had no filter. How can you refuse your customer a receipt? It also didn't say that I paid for it so I'm assuming she took the money. Very disappointed to know that this place is managed by a thief. I think head office should look into it because I can't be the only one who got ripped off, since she kept saying "cash only" for people to be served on her till. If I could speak to head office about this issue that would be great.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I am not a big theatre-goer but the small theatre configuration with comfy seats win my heart. I hope the theatre will do well because it is definitely a theatre I look forward to go to. The akward part of the theatre is that the washroom is outside of the gated area, so remmeber to bring your ticket with you to the washroom in case if they check. Parking right in front of the theatre is limited so do prepare to park on the left side lot. Ticket is approx $13 as of year 2020.

Cinema is never over crowded. The seats are the main attraction, super comfortable recliners that make it hard to stay awake at times. There is tons of space between seats and great if you have long legs. Has all the latest releases all at a lower price. Super duper Dolby digital 4D converter overlays - None of that. After watching a movie at Imagine Cinemas at Promenade, I thought I would try these ones, as they are closer to my place. And its the same thing here! Theatres have been reno'd to be basically VIP seats. Seats come individual, recline, have tons of leg room and are very comfy. They do half price movies here on Tuesdays as well. I'll probably end up coming here for most of my movies now (unless its one I want to see in IMAX).

I used to come to this theatre years ago before the Reno to big comfy reclining chairs (convenient location in Richmond Hill). However now I enjoy the experience a lot more as you can reserve tickets in advance to specific seats and you feel super comfortable while sitting and watching your movie. Great selection of films. I like that the theatres aren’t huge. There’s also lots of parking available in the plaza.

Awesome place for watching movies. Very relaxing spot with the reclining chairs that feel like you are in your own home theatre. Compared to cineplex this place is ahead of it’s time! However sound quality isn’t as good as cineplex and it is sometimes annoying when they don’t fully turn off the lights (they dim it down). Nonetheless way better than cineplex for sure

Nice little theatre. Good to go see the non action blockbusters. Great recliner seats. If you want anything from the concession just make sure you get there with extra time. The line up can be long.

Personally I like this place more than cineplex. The chairs are infinitely more comfortable. Yes the screen is smaller but its also more clear (likely because of the smaller size?) I live downtown and sometimes travel all the way up here just for the comfortable seats. COVID has been tough for all theatres but I sure this place pulls through.

After renovating the theaters I enjoyed watching movies here a lot more. The reclining seats are big and comfy, arm rests are bigger, and the screen is also pretty big. Most people don't come here because it's not as "big" as Cineplex but it's worth a try.

The recliner was very comfortable ; its the only way to enjoy a movie ! Though the popcorn was bit chewy, unlike previous times ie before pandemic. Perhaps kernels were kept for too long ?!?

This place is amazing. The Sears are so comfortable, I'm handicapped and that is important to me. There's an elevator and handicap stalls in the washrooms. The price of admission is great and so are the concession prices and variety. This is our go to cinema.

Great little cinema that isn't ever crazy busy like the big cinema chains. Very comfortable seating and friendly staff. No arcade but they do host events for kids. Because of the luxury seating, there are less overall seats per showing so keep it in mind if you're looking to see the hottest movies out during peak hours!

Its a good setup the chairs are very nice. I wish they kept the arcade instead of the party room it had lots of unique games and they are a childhood memory.

Anyone giving this theater good reviews must be referring to when it was owned by Rainbow Cinemas and or I suspect possibly employees or those unaware yet of how horrendously Imagine Cinemas which recently purchased it treat customers. Attend a few times and boy will it become evident. The management for this place since purchased by Imagine Cinemas are awful people. In March I had won a contest they held for 2 free passes through their own Facebook page. All I had to do was to see any manager and show photo ID. I did that and the manager had no information about me winning on her list. She denied having any passes to give out in the office and proceeded to treat me like I was trying to scam her out of one. After a good 10 minutes she returned with 1 pass and that unless head office calls me that's all I am entitled to. After a ton of BS head office did give me what I rightfully won outright. Should there really be a premium on common sense? If this person had treated a customer at Cineplex this way they would have been fired instantly having worked there. On top of all this a customer with a disabled friend had a universally recognized Access Card that entitles a caregiver to a free admission. Cineplex welcomes it to all films including Beauty and The Beast. Elgin Mills refused them. They were told it was a Disney policy which it isn't. It wasn't until City TV investigated that this theater made it right. In doing so they blamed a box office employee and renovations on the screwup. They need to retrain their staff. I won't be back again despite low pricing and luxury chairs. I encourage others to go to Silvercity and get a Scene Card because they know how to reward patronage, treat everyone fairly and conduct online contests too.

Great comfortable chairs and recliners .Feel like you can take a nap. Very nice and relaxing way to see a movie.Staff very friendly and helpful.Lots of parking.Easy to book and pay for tickets on line. I like that you can always reserve your seat.Not as crowded as most theatres as it is smaller and very quaint.Would recommend.Like watching a movie at home , but a nice outing.

Great movie theater with reclining seats,friendly staff,manager Michael doing a great job.Booked a handicap seat by accident for new years eve,offered to put a chair in or a refund or credit for another night.We came new years day,less busy and enjoyed the show.Lots of options when there is a problem.Handled efficiently and promptly.Highly recommend this theater location,5 stars.

was there recently October 2021 during pandemic, be prepared to show your vaccination proof. Really enjoyed it, they have you social distance in the movie, your infront of you, and back and sides there's a couple seats.

Angle of theatre is too low, so seats in front of you will block the bottom of the screen. Additionally, our theatre had bluish artifacts on the right side of the screen the entire time.

Sure they have comfy seats and it's usually pretty empty. But that's no excuse for getting rid of free popcorn refills with no warning or mention. I missed a key plot point of the movie trying to get our refill and my request was met with a rude manager... silvery city it is next time!!

The reclining seats are really nice. Much lower cost than Cineplex and you can get reserved seating. However screen quality is noticeably not as good. Also it isn't stadium seating so it's possible that some of the screen can be block but it's not too bad.

It's a very nice little cinema. Very comfortable chairs and clean environment. Tickets are cheaper than any other cinema I know and they show the same movies. It's great for families. It's always our first option unless they are sold out for the movie we want to watch. They don't sell any food there, just snacks.

There were two showings of the movie we were going to, one at 7 and one at 7:20... We got to the cashier at 7:15 and they sold us a ticket to the one that had already started! Since its reserved seating and the line was long we just went to that one... The theatre itself is awesome though, full recliners!!!

I've been coming to this theatre for years over the bigger chains. Welcoming staff, huge comfy seats, decent facilities that are kept clean. Ticket prices are more than fair as well. Thank you to the staff these days for adhering to public guidelines as well. I felt comfortable and safe returning to see movies on the silver screen

Great cinema experience. High quality recliners provide incredibly comfortable seating with plenty of personal room. Purchasing tickets online is highly suggested as seats are assigned prior to the screening.

I had my 6 yrs old daughters birthday party over the weekend. Special thanks goes to the Manager Kenda, Kermit & Shannon who was very accommodating in regards to my vision and was able to provide me with the date I selected unlike Silvercity who treated us like a number and couldn't care less about my request. Not only were they able to make my daughters day special but all 17 of her friends thought it was the best day ever! Party room was very spacious and clean, the leather seats recline which the kids absolutely loved, You can bring in your own food which was a bonus and the deal you get per kid was more than fair. I would highly recommend this location they are Amazing!!!!

The staff is so disrespectful and rude. I went to see the movie Halloween with my friends and mom the movie was rated 18+ or come in with an adult. So first we buy the tickets, they give us the wrong movie timing so went to exchange it than we couldn’t get the same seats because it was already taking so we lost our seats which were their fault they gave us the wrong movie timing. After we got in the movies my mom came in to watch it with us even though she was sick she had to stay so we can get in to see the movie, she left her car parked outside the entrance because she wasn’t planning to stay only to get us the tickets because she was sick so she went to buy medicine at shoppers and park her car properly can you believe at like around 10 minutes of the movie when its all silence one of the staff comes in raises his voice at my friends and me saying “okay you guys out” you can't watch the movie go outside and other rude things he even said he went outside to look for my mom when he doesn’t even know what car she drives, he embarrassed us while we were waiting outside. One of the staffs was waiting with us while the other annoying one was looking for my mom and from the radio, he was telling the other staff who was with us “are the kids still there” first of all were all 17, not kids so disrespectful. The 2 men’s (staff) was giving so much attitude to us. We missed half of the movie because of him, The movie didn’t even have sexual content or nothing for the staff to actually kick us out because the movie 18+ It was only murdered SMFH

They have reclining leather chairs and lots of leg room in the theater now. love it.. but the bathroom, despite being "clean" and being there for the first movie of the day, smelled like a dirty urinal. that's the only negative thing i have to say about the place. otherwise really impressed

The reclining seats in this theater are basically the reason you will return over and over! After watching movies this way, any typical theater seating seems outdated. With most modern theaters all equipped with high quality screens and sound systems, the recliner captain chairs help Imagine Cinemas stand out in the crowd. Well done!

Been coming here for years and overall had great experience. The sound and video quality is not the same as Cineplex. The recliner seats are nice. The interior decor has aged, a bit of renovation will definately make this place look nice.

A smaller theatre, but that's what I like about it. I love the reserving comfortable lounge seats to guarantee us a seat, instead of waiting in line hoping to get a seat. The bathrooms could receive better care.

Reclining seats are comfy, very wide, and tons of leg room. Only downside is that the ground isn't sloped downward very much so the chair in front may block your view of the screen a little
