This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Movie theater.
Great local theatre... Please Oakville consider this one over Cineplex.
It a classical theater! Quite and good place for an d couples
A little bit of retro for the holiday season! If you enjoy that more “vintage”movie experience, then this is your perfect go to. Throwback cinema with the smaller but still great viewing theatres and seats to match. No massive line ups, glaring lights galore & sci fi ambiance but instead a quaint, cozy feel with still plenty of pizzazz! Tuesdays $6.50 in addition to “Movies for Mommies “, kids events & shop online. Secured public health safety & protocols with a choice of online booking or in person, plus seat selection for enhanced measures. Ample free parking, so just sit back & enjoy:)
A great little independent theatre. A genuine asset to Oakville, in this era of big box everything, and chain everything. Long may it thrive!
A small cute theater with reasonable pricing. Feels like watching movie in my living room.
Lovely and cosy retro style movie theatre. Love e the place. I would give them 5 stars but the popcorn is not the best.
I really like this place. It's nothing fancy but it's affordable and quiet.
Went there for the first time the other day. The theatre was clean, the seats were comfortable and the staff was so friendly and nice I was a little shocked! Glad we found this hidden gem!
Quaint little theatre with the nicest staff ever!
Great place to watch a movie without have to spend $600 (sarcasm) on a ticket and snacks
I could go on and on about all that they do for the community. We live in Oak Park and see firsthand all that film.ca does for the community. We could talk about the fundraisers, the food drives, charity contributions, programs for kids, ticket angels, t he phenomenal parties, and more. But, I think the thing that just makes film.ca stand out for me most is the manner in which they conduct their business at the theater. When I was growing up, we didn’t have a lot of money and going to the movie theatre was a real treat. Nowadays going to a major Cineplex is not the same. There’s a lot of flash but no connection. But when I go to film.ca and bring my kids, it takes me back to when I was a child of the 80s. Walking in, and having personal interest and personal investment from the staff makes a huge difference. Everyone is always so warm and friendly. The place is always clean. People are ready to help you and provide personal service. I am now able to bring my family to a place where we can watch a movie together that feels as special for me now and them as it did to me when I was a child. What they’re able to do at film.ca is absolutely magical.
Cool little theatre with an old fashioned feeling. Snacks are great, the usual plus a little pizzeria and sitting area to eat there too. Support the entrepreneur and check it out! Parking is good here too!
It's a great theatre, 5 screens, first run films, lower prices, $8.50 Tuesday's the rest of the week is $10.50. The staff are friendly. Lot's of parking which includes wheelchair-accessible parking as well, also a ramp to get into the theatre. Enjoy!
Pretty decent small movie theatre. Reasonably priced, decent quality theatres, not typically that busy when I've been. My one issue with this place is the pre-movie ads - they're locally made, typically unprofessional and rather annoying.
Friendly staff and very economical. I love my experience every time I take my daughter here!
Great service! Great prices! No long lineups and excellent popcorn! Kids love the experience every time and it's affordable enough to do on a regular basis.
The staff is friendly and service is good. It has the feel of a small local movie theatre of the 1980s before Cineplex came along and American-commercialed everything to suck all the dollars from your kids. You can actually hear yourself talk in the hallway without yelling. Popcorn refills are free. Seats are cozy. Get the Combo1.
We had such a great experience at this small cinema! We stopped by to watch Parasite and had a few quick interactions with the friendly staff. Highly recommend - both in terms of price and atmosphere.
I totally love the personalized service at film.ca. Everyone is so friendly and nice. My go to cinema in Oakville.
I always go to this theatre with my family and it always is awesome to go there. The food selection is amazing and in my opinion the food selection is better than cineplex. The popcorn Is amazing
Super friendly staff, very kid friendly and great prices. Don't really need much more than that. The concession prices are about the same as the big theatres but that's to be expected. The bathrooms aren't in the best spot, especially when you have small kids who are constantly leaking :p The screen sizes and sound quality are fine, but if you want a huge blockbuster popcorn flick, I'd suggest going to see it in imax or ultra avx.
Been there many times with Family and Friends and EVERYONE enjoyed their time. Prices are amazing, and all the new blockbusters are playing. Food has also never been an issue. Great place for a party aswell
The best movie theater ever. Amazing service and prices. We hope you guys open soon..or better yet just screw the government and their unlawful lockdowns and open anyway..We will support it.
Nice theatre with a retro feel to it. Prices are much cheaper than a particular movie company that has monopolized the cinema market... But said company has a trivia game before movies, so I GUESS I'll still go to them every now and then... Popcorn was light and fluffy. Didn't bother with a drink or any snacks or even their pizza. Maybe next time. ????
Nice place but the movie room kinds sucks very small and odd the seats are very werid hards to explain it's probably just cuz I'm used to cinaplex
Great value. The seating positioning in the theatres could be better by making the incline angle slightly greater.
First run movies at an excellent price. Enjoy the early afternoon showtimes.Feels like the old fashion movie theatre experience.
One of the best Cinemas to watch movies in Oakville. I highly recommend this venue for people who are in town!
A terrific little unassuming movie theatre. Still plays main stream movies but without the over the top glitz. Well priced too.
Seats are not comfortable
Great local movie theatre. Does it have best sound? biggest screen? super plush seats? stadium seating? No. But for 1st run movies at a reasonable price, without getting robbed at the concession stand, and a decent slice of freshly made pizza, Film.ca can't be beat. PS they take Cineplex gift cards too!
They are following covid guidelines but are a wonderful cinema and very much a part of the community with outdoor food bins and books for those in need. Exceptional people.
Visited while in town visiting relatives to see Black Panther. What a great little theatre. Nice to visit a more authentic theatre other than the megaplexes!
Very nice theater with fair prices, they get the movies as early as Cineplex. I saw ready player one the afternoon before it was released. I would recommend going here
Great hidden gem of a theatre. First run movies at a second run price! Neat little concession area, very friendly staff and overall a great experience!
Love this place! Its a smaller theater and a lot cheaper in price but same quality. You wont break the bank watching here.
A nice cozy theater with really good ticket prices! Everytime I come here the staff are really friendly
The staff were fantastic, the sound was great, and the food was delicious. Well-priced and charming. Definitely would go back.
A fantastic venue, with friendly staff, great prices, and a charming atmosphere. It's one of Oakville's mainstay cultural icons now, and it gives so much back to the Oakville community.
Excellent team. We had a private party and Adam and his team went above and beyond. Great service. They were so helpful and accommodating. I would definitely go back.
$5 (tax included) Tuesdays really can't be beat! The prices are great overall and the theatre size is good, if you don't need the huge screen, huge sound. Movies are always current. I choose this theatre over any cineplex, especially since I have an army of kids. :)
Great service, lots of parking and not as busy as the big theatres. Highly recommended.
Film.ca has all the new movies out and sometimes show classics. Its incredibly cheap and the staff are super nice
Fabulous staff! Great experience. Our favorite place to see films when we are in town.
Smaller than other cinemas but great for a day time movie.
Good movie theater that promotes fun in the theaters before hand. Great for families
I will never go to another big name theatre again with my children (or alone) as a parent with two disabled children, they are always accomindating and willing to help. It's also much less chaotic than a large theatre, which decreases the sensory issues for everyone :)
Awesome movie theatre! First-run movies at decent prices compared to the big chain locations. The snack bar has better pricing too & the popcorn tastes great. The theatres & screens are more than big enough & the volume of movies isn't as loud & damaging as in the bigger ones. Being a smaller theatre, the staff is friendly, polite, & helpful and don't treat you as a number. Jeff Knoll has created a fantastic, family-friendly movie-going experience. If you like to pay $20 for one ticket, $12 for a small popcorn, & insist on reclining seats, this is *not* the theatre for you ????
Friendly staff, very affordable price, screen is perfect size, seats are decently sized and comfortable, and I don't have to go out of my way to avoid 3D movies here. As all their prices are well rounded I'm more than willing to buy concessions from here too. Best part is they are a Canadian theatre from the locale. I only go here for movies. Now that they also accept Cineplex gift cards I have no reason to go back there anymore. Love this place! Personal favourite of this place: they do a theatre experience Rocky Horror Picture show in October, complete with shouting things and throwing stuff (safely). I always show up in costume and have an amazing time every year. 2021 edit: they are still amazing, but have been unfairly targeting by COVID shutdowns despite theatres not spreading the virus. They have take out, and I've watched the staff in the theatre since the reopening, they take COVID protocols very seriously. You can be certain you'll be safe in there, and theatre seats are reserved to ensure proper distancing at all times. The experience of going to a movie theatre is not something that can be done at home for free with a streaming service. I still go back, and will continue to. Please support this local business! Big name theatres don't need help, they have plenty of money and lots of ways to keep making money besides just direct theatre services.
Better than the big movie theaters, cheaper and homey. Perfect, small, quaint. I hope it does lots of business
It's nice in there. Cute clean restaurant area. You can get pizza and lots of stuff. Looks nice in there. Nice atmosphere. Smaller theatre but also cheaper.
Our family has been a fan of this theatre since we moved here nine years ago. They show all the blockbusters, albeit sometimes a week later than the bigger multiplex theatres dues to a reduced number of theatres (six) in their facility. Pricing is fabulous, both on the tickets and the concessions and we love the kitschy local ads they play before the show, including the charmingly off-beat video messages from the CEO. Best of all, the trailers are reduced to just 3 or 4 min before the feature movie whereas Cineplex and Odeon have ballooned this aspect to upwards of 20 min. including odious product advertising. We need more independent theatres like this one!
Great theatre, old feel, driving from hamilton to enjoy the experience!
Compared to the expensive Cineplex cinemas these guys are incredible. Their ticket and concession prices are reasonable, specially for taking little kids to movies on a budget
This place is a major part of my origin story, and as such, I am very impressed with the whole operation. I am so happy this place is there and doing great; a testament to the management great work. Great value. Awesome place. Great service.
Love the old school feel! I also enjoy that it's less crowded than other theatres. It's also cheaper!
SUPER CHEAP, ONLY FIVE DOWARS/FIVE BUCK PER TICKET! GO WATCH DC ENDGAME; MR.AQUAMAN DIES IN ENDGAME!!! SUPER CONVENIENT AND AFFORDABLE THEATRE, GO BUY TICKETS NOW! NOW! NOW! C'MON!
It's a great place and a lot cheaper then cineplex.
A nice clean theatre, with no sticky floors, clean washrooms, decent-sized screens, slightly less over - the - Top concession prices , and a decent sound system. They also have their own reward system for regular customers like the big theatre chains. It just proves that you don't have to go to the big Mega corporations in order to see a movie, and you can support the local outfits.
Why pay full price? Same movies. Better popcorn & pizza. No lineups.
No stadium seats but it was empty on Saturday so that's cool. Looks dated but the picture and sound quality was OK.
I am a big supporter of this cinema. I follow their social media and they have been honest, humble and a business that really appeals to people not for profits.
Great theater to take the family and enjoy a movie or two.
Great reasonably priced venue 4 top movies
Always feeling like "home" to me. Kind people, clean spaces, great experience
Everything about this cinema is what made me fall in love with going to the movies in the first place. You can always go to nearby Cineplex, but this is a real movie experience. We didn't care that the place was loaded with kids as we went to opening night for Frozen II, the staff were so friendly, the bow ties /long ties definitely adds to the experience, prices are way better, and the actual screen/ seating are the perfect size. Other movie houses may offer bigger screens, or higher quality definition, but this place was perfect exactly as it is. Can't wait to visit again.
Outstanding facility. A locally owned theatre with new release movies at a great price with friendly staff. Thanks to film.ca for providing us with a great product
Nice theatre. Independently owned. Lowest priced movie tickets in the region. Lots of free parking.
Budget cinemas at their best. No frills. Just good prices and a clean theater
Nice place to go for a afternoon at the Movies. Nice and clean Theatre. Staff are very friendly and polite. Lots of parking outside.
Love this cinema! I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, it shut down for a years and when it reopened I was soooo excited!!! Tons of memories taking my daughter here for mommy daughter movie night, will forever be a fav! Great deals for popcorn and movie tickets! Highly recommend
Big screen classic era feel but at reasonable budget conscious rates. A community local folks meeting place; good for olde and young alike.... Dufflets pastries a quality touch for those who like that sort of treat. Surprise..!
Great place. The people are really nice and the movies are got as well.
I love what the new owner has done with the place. It's fantastic and cheap! Good food and good crowd. Obviously you get hit on the quality but for 8 bucks a ticket I'm not complaining :)
Every second Wednesday they run an 11 a.m. movie for moms and babies and anyone who wants to go with a mom and baby. It is perfect timing if you have older kids to pick up from school later on and it is a very comfortable theater to see a movie in. I miss theaters like this, instead of the huge Cineplex ones that are everywhere now.
Great old fashioned cinema. Screens lots of animated films.
Such a nice theatre. Not too big, not too small. The seats are nice enough to sit in for a movie. The concession stand has good choices and the bathrooms are clean. Oh and the A/C was not blasting. Great staff as well.
Great Community Theatres with a good selection and very inexpensive, fantastic value!
Best cinema!!! Inexpensive, and you still get refills on popcorn, and drinks.
Our go to movie theater. Love the small size of the venue with only 5 screens. They also have the best popcorn; beats the larger megaplexes hands down!
I love this place. If your in Oakville and you want to see a movie this is hands down your best bet. Cheap tickets with the max price being $8.00 (all seats are $5.00). Concessions are cheap as well. Its also small so the perfect place for seeing a movie with a group.
Always friendly, independent, tickets are a good price and it always give a friendly neighborhood vibe. Jeff knoll is incredibly active in the community. I would always choose this over cineplex
Been going there for years and i see improvements each time I go. A fantastic theatre.
Such a nice cozy theatre! Not too big not too small, friendly staff, plenty of parking, good value pricing....and only 5 mins away from me...lol
Love this place....old retro feel, great prices, and best popcorn.
Great locally owned theatre with fun promotions (Bring your own bowl Wednesday's) and special events showing all the current movies.
Cinema was great. Clean, affordable, great service. They added reserved seats for covid (great job!) staff was helpful. Additionally, online ticket ordering was a breeze! Need more small indie cinemas like this! Will be going back for sure :)
Plenty of parking, seats are comfortable definitely a flash back to the 80's
Love this place. Staff are always friendly and helpful, concessions and admission prices are reasonable for a family of four. Keep up the great experience everyone!
Awesome theater and authentic experience. The interior design of the cinema is perfect, adding to the retro style of visiting the movies. The theaters are quite small but cozy and not tier seating like traditional modern theaters. The seats are very comfortable with lot's of leg room. The tickets are cheaper than competitive establishments and the popcorn/drinks are cheaper. On Wednesdays they offer "BYOB (Bring Your Own Bowl)" and pay a small fee for unlimited refills of popcorn in any size bowl you bring! The sound is great, the picture is great and just an all-around great experience. I have been a few times now and several occasions I have had the whole theater to myself or shared with a handful of people.
Great rates with movies people want to watch. Went for an early matinee. No rush, no hassle. Come early since seating is not assigned.
A little and simple cinemas place, cheap and often not so busy, good for young children !
Nice and cheap and a good theater, just wish the theater was raised at the back.
Today we went at Film.ca Cinemas for the first time. There is a lot of parking space and the cinema is located at a very convenient location. Cinema screens are good size and sound was good too. I just found the seats not the comfortable as they are almost at the same level. Also, I'd suggest that the walls of the cinema 'must' be black to absorb the emitted light of the screen. Overall good clean location, very reasonable price and friendly staff.
This is the place to go to if you are done with the costly and uncomfortable 3D nonsense deployed all around the corporate Cineplexes in the GTA. The general area looked a bit dated pulling up, but you can tell these guys overhauled and modernized their theater to suit all movie going needs. The theater itself had comfy seats and the picture/sound quality was all there. Yes the screen is a bit smaller than other theaters, and the incline could be a bit larger between seating rows, but they positioned everything in a way that it was not noticeable and a really enjoyable movie experience. Food was all standard quality movie stuff (popcorn, hot dogs, etc). Highly recommend choosing this over the soon to be Cineplex monopoly.
Love love supporting small businesses. Very friendly personnel make guests feel special. Love the nostalgic vibe of the place. Great experience. Popcorn and food much more affordable than cineplex!
Cinema itself was very clean, staff was efficient and friendly and other patrons were respectful as well! I would have given 5 stars but I had 2 issues. 1.4.50 for a 600 ml bottle of soda is excessive 2. You can hear the movies in the other auditorium while you are trying to enjoy your film. Especially if it's an action film next door. Otherwise would still recommend coming here as the overall experience was good.
Always great. Staff are very friendly.
Film.Ca was one of the best cinemas I've been to in a while. To start off, the place looks amazing, like your typical 90's theatre. It is also a very clean, well maintained place. The staff there were super nice, helpful, understanding, and patient when my family and I had too many questions. The theatre and screen was obviously smaller than your average franchised cinema, but that did not change my family's and I's experience. The audio and video quality were still astonishingly good. And not to mention, they sell really good pizza that you can in fact bring into the theatre and eat while you watch the movie, even if it's a large pizza. The pricing was what surprised me the most. For the lowest price I have ever paid for a movie, I had a great experience. I was also given two free passes from a friend that advertises with them. Will definitely visit again and frequently!
Good theater. A nice less expensive trip to the movies then going to Cineplex or a big box movie theater.
Great place! Great popcorn ????
Walking in it seems like everything is happy, the staff are nice, there is happy music in (not to loud), and they have twilight zone on a big theatre screen in the lobby. They even have a pizzeria. The theatres are flat, not steeped, and they smell a little funny, but otherwise it's just like any other theatre.
Ok seats to sit on. Easy parking. Not crowded. Great popcorn and coffee. Cheap tickets. In Oakville. Short drive.
The prices are really good. A little old fashioned but I actually love that! this is always my go to place for premier shows !
What a great place to see a movie , affordable ticket prices, comfortable theatres, friendly staff ,lots of parking
A good experience at the movies, but including fresh popcorn.
Nice local movie theater, good prices, reasonable rooms. Of course popcorn and candies were overpriced.
Always comfortable , clean and well organized. Love our local cinema.
Great local theatre much better than the big box shops. The service there is excellent and the staff are always willing to help. First place I go to see a movie. Love you Jeff buddy
This is the theatre in Oakville. Nice cafe an actual arcade and staff who like movies. That oldtimey feel and better prices than the big box cinemas make this a great date spot or a place to go with the folks.
Impeccably clean; run by a family of staff who celebrate movies from every era. The antidote to gouging, big-box chain theaters. Oakville's last real bargain and a true gem hidden at the corner of Kerr and Speers.
My favourite place to watch a movie.
One of the best theatres I have been to in EVER. The staff is amazingly friendly, seats are huge with lots of legroom, and the popcorn is possibly the best I have ever tasted. They're smaller theatres with less seating but the experience is way better than any Cineplex. Even the shushing as the movie started was friendly...
$5 Tuesdays, friendly staff, a nice small town theater feel.
My favorite movie theater! Friendly staff and great prices.
The tickets are cheaper and popcorn better, but the seats do not compare to the newer Cineplex theaters.
Great movie going experience. Old school courtesy & prices. Very enjoyable cinema & comfortable seating. Worth every cent!!!
Great prices for a movie theatre experience, with even better prices on Tuesdays. The bring your own bowl on Wednesday is spectacular as you get so much popcorn. There's usually less people than bigger movie theatres so there is less disturbances. There's tons of leg room in seating. The staff is super nice and the commercials are stupendous. Film.ca helps funds schools clubs and is a great addition to the community. Jeff Knoll is my idol.
Cool hole-in-the-wall theatre that plays new films at a fraction of the cost of Cineplex. Highly recommend if you're a movie buff on a tight budget!
Great prices and a very nice movie theater experience. I prefer to watch movies here than in the big movie places, but since they don't usually play everything available I find myself forced to go to the big ones sometimes.
From prices being so cheap, I was flabbergasted by the amazing food, friendly staff, and the seating is clean and comfortable! I highly recommend you watching a movie here with friends, family or by yourself.
Great place to see a show. Always featuring the latest films. Good popcorn.
This movie theatre is my go to theatre when I was living in Oakville. The ticket prices are WAY lower than places like Cinplex and you don't feel ripped off when you order food from the concession stand. They also have David's Tea. Plus the staff are super friendly. That being said there's one tiny annoyance I experienced the last week while visiting my friend. I like watching the credits when I go see a movie. I always have even before the whole end credit scene became a thing. As we sat and tried to watch the credits, staff members walked in front of us to clean up the theatre. This happened in 3 differnet showings: How to Train your Dragon 3, Lego movie 2 and Captain Marvel. I don't know if they changed their policy or what but I find this extremely rude. I'm still watching the movie. If you're cleaning up around me, you're making me feel bad for wanting to enjoy what I paid for. And there was still an end credit scene for Captain Marvel that hadn't played when the staff member walked in front of us. (And a lot of people were still in their seats) So minus that one thing, this is a good theatre)
We love seeing movies here. Local business with friendly staff. Is not as costly as the franchise places. The popcorn can't be beat with the real butter they use.
I love this updated old style theatre. On Wednesdays you can bring your own bowl and have it filled with popcorn for only $2.50! How cool is that?! Film.ca even plays environmental movies and documentaries once a month with their Halton Green Screens program. I love how this theatre plays ads for local businesses before the movie plays. Film.ca is doing it right. ???? P. S. There's also a ski ball game!
love the movies and my favourite part is the games and sticker machines, if i could give this 6 stars, i would!
Nice cinema and really good staff!
Good quiet local movie theater, its well maintained
Great theater, has all the new movies for very cheap, and clean
Nice surprise! Off-radar little movie theater but nice, clean, good snack bar. The theater itself was a bit on the plain side, but it didn't make the experience any less enjoyable.
Great place to watch movies. Friendly staff. Hot popcorn. Cold drinks. Clean. Newest movie titles. I’m certainly going to be a regular customer
Lovely updated decor, comfy seats, very wide aisles with tons of legroom. Inexpensive as well. Great experience but disappointed by the fake butter. Real butter on the popcorn is important to me. :)
Very quaint theatre. Love it! Prices can't be beat.
The best movie deal in town. Regulars make it feel like the old repertoire with new films.
Way better than cineplex in every category. People there are friendly, tickets and snacks are cheaper.
This adorable, humble little theatre has the funniest, sweetest group of staff members. The prices are fantastic, a $5 show on Tuesdays used to be our plan after high school almost every week for 2 years. The snack bar has some great options, the theatre rooms are kept very clean, audio and visuals are no different from a Cineplex, and the seats are super comfy. This place has a very homey, very positive feel and a great family atmosphere. Other than 5 Drive In, this is my absolute favourite movie spot, especially on colder nights. Oh and by the way... FREE POPCORN REFILLS!!
its fun , mostly its empty, which is nice, I'd say its half the cost of watching the same movie at Cineplex.
$5 ticket on Tuesdays for students, $12 on Tuesdays gets you a ticket, drink, and popcorn. The venue is much larger than expected. It is a very cozy and relaxed place. I much prefer this to any Cineplex.
Best vale for money. Simple, clean and great local theatre. Not too big and not too small. Can't beat $5 Tuesday! Lots of parking. Good popcorn! We take a van full of neighbours on Tuesday night.
Best theatre around. Price is Right, popcorn is great, staff are a treat to deal with. Only place I go for movies.
This is a great family friendly LOCAL cinema with that hometown feel, showing all the latest movies at a fraction of the cost of the big name cinemas. Make sure to hit the snack bar (or pizza bar) for incredible deals such as bottomless popcorn and pop which you won't find anywhere else. Support local, save money, simple. Stuck with other cinemas gift cards from Auntie Mabel's Christmas box? Bring them to Film.ca and they will exchange them for one of their own (equal $$$ but better value... your gift card from elsewhere goes way further here). See you at the movies for some of those cheesie pre-show ads.
Finally a place to watch movies with the fam without dropping a Borden. Great ticket prices, however since the screens aren't tremendously big with ravishing stereo, plan to watch an animated movie or a rom-com, however if wanting to watch a Marvel movie or something with awesome special effects, then you may want to spend a bit more. The concession stand is also less expensive their 'bigger competitor'.
Our favourite theatre! Ticket prices are great and we love coming on Wednesdays for bring your own bowl popcorn $2.50! We also find the popcorn is so much tastier here, will never go to the big box theatres. Support your local theatre and enjoy the service, seating, and flicks! Thank you film.ca for never disappointing us!
Super cheap and great prices for the movies and deals for popcorn etc!!
Very good prices especially on tuesdays and they have a wide snack range.
Cozy cinema, more than reasonably priced. I has almost everything you can get at Cineplex and Co, for less. I was impressed from my first visit. Simple, maybe old-fashioned, but with heart.
Simply put my favorite theatre. The big boys are nice, but supporting a local entrepreneur is priceless (the hot dogs are great and the popcorn is isanely fresh) Today, my girlfriend took her kids (3 teens) to film.ca and the 4 pm showing of "Sonic the Hedgehog" (all 3 kids are gamers or have played the game in the past). She went to refill the kid's refreshments during the film and had an accident before leaving the counter. Unknown to her...she had left her wallet at the counter. After the movie was over, a bearded young man in a burgundy shirt approached her and stated that he noticed the wallet at the counter and held same in the safe until the film was over. Every piece of ID, money, credit cards, office keys, etc., were attached to this wallet. She did not get his name as she was so relieved and pleased by this encounter. She mentioned it to me and I thought that this was something you needed to know because she felt this would never ever have happened at some large, nondescript branded theatre multiplex. It happened in Oakville, at your theatre because of your team and the community aspect of what you have developed. Thank you Film.ca
Comfortable and reasonably priced. This place is a hit for our family of five. Staff is friendly and helpful.
This is the cinema of your childhood. Nothing too fancy or overpriced. Just a simple trip to the theatre. Its always clean and staff is attentive to each and every visitor. What a gem!
Absolutely love this place. $8.50 general admission and the best theatre popcorn you can buy. I have pretty much solely started coming to this theatre. If you know what times won't be busy you can enjoy a more peaceful experience. Plus they sometimes run special events like a free movie or a early showing of an upcoming blockbuster. I used to go here when it was Encore and didn't enjoy it as much, however since the rebrand and the face lift of the theatre, I love it. Also it is, in my opinion, worth the price of admission to see a new clip with the owner Jeff Knol (or Noll, not sure how to spell it).
1. Great staff 2. Everyone has fun time here 3. Very Good Popcorn 4. Very good quality on the big screens 5. Gets busy which is a good thing at a movie theatre 6. Fits a lot of people in the theatre room like 70 plus I think
Fun good experience, just make sure you buy both the ticket and the food at the same time, I messed up and thought you bought a ticket at a separate line like at cineplex. Had to get back in line lol
A fantastic independent family run theatre that provides a much better experience than any of the big chains. The staff go above and beyond to make your visit a pleasure, the prices are very fair and the selection of snacks and other entertainment is great as well. Having these unique theatres around is a rare treat in Ontario these days, but it's clear with places like Film.ca Cinemas that best ones will always carry on.
It's a great little theatre, it's locally owned and operated, the theatres are nice and clean, and the staff is always friendly. They recently expanded their snack and food menus, and added a seating area.
I love this Cinema. The staff are so helpful, the popcorn is delicious, and most of all, the prices are amazing! One time, I went there on my birthday, and they even let me go in for free. They also show big-name films, so you don't have to worry about it not being shown just because the theaters are smaller than Cineplex. I definitely would recommend!
Great old school theatre vibe and very reasonable prices. If you grew up in the 80s and 90s and want that throwback theatre vibe while also getting more leg room then in most theatres then this is the place for you!
Great local theatre. Cheaper than Cineplex, weekly specials, love supporting them
I like this theatre better than the large chain. Their popcorn tastes better, they use butter, and their prices are more competitive. The seats are the vintage style that decline from the floor (you don't have to go up stairs to get to the seats at the top), therefore there is a possibility your view can be impeded if someone tall sits in front of you.
Small theatre, but for the price it's amazing and the staff was very friendly and positive. Will definitely return for movie nights
Great value, comfortable seating. Awesome little cinema.
Always a great experience here. Reasonably priced movie tickets and comfortable theater seats are great. I also love the pre-movie ads. It's always nice to see small and local businesses with real people. I will never go to any other theater!!
Heard about this place but haven't had the chance to go there until one of my clients happened to be one of the owners - David after providing a detailing service on his car. Enjoyed taking my team out for a Tuesday movie night and love to support our client's business!
Very clean and nice cinema. It also very cheap and there’s a discount on Tuesdays.
This place is so much better than some of the giant movie theaters!!! Even though they have a limited amount of movies shown, they still provide a great experience for guests. They are also very kid friendly and have a lot of child oriented movies to see. With lower prices for tickets than bigger movie theaters, it is definitely worth visiting. Another plus is that they show movies in different languages! I've recently seen a movie in French there! Overall great experience!
If you don't mind old movie theaters, this is a good one. The tickets are cheaper, with a wide selection of current movies. Comfortable seats, but smells of old movie theaters. Would be nice to have air fresheners?... Has limited selection on snacks but the in house food commercial before the movie is cringey and hilarious.Try it once just for laughs. ???? ????
Never had a bad experience here. Cheaper than going to Cineplex, and it's nice knowing I'm supporting a local business
Wonderful family owned theatre that is incredibly generous with their support of Halton charities. The staff are just fantastic and so welcoming! The support of local independent film makers is inspiring and commendable!! The best theatre to see films in the area!!
The family just loved it ... old school .. friendly staff, reasonable price food ,cheaper then Cineplex you Definitely can afford to take the family out for movie night or date night
Always a great price for these first-run movies! Comfy seats, good snack bar selection including pastries, pizza.
Adorable cinema straight from the 50's. It has all the latest movies and a few more independent ones that you can see for about $9 per person. The seats are comfortable the staff is nice and the little restaurant has great food to enjoy before the movie or bring in with you. The location is pretty decenturalized but its definitly worth the drive
Great theater. Very different from the big ones. You can tell that it's family Run, that's a good thing. My only complaint is that it's hard to see for little kids. I had to stack 6 booster seats for my 6 year old to see over the seat.
Fantastic local cinema with small town charm. All the latest films are available cheaper than at chain theatres. And Jeff Knoll’s appearances in the promotional videos make visiting worth it on their own.
I love this place! I can't wait for it to open up again.
Always great food, movies, and service. So glad that film.ca cinemas is here to stay!
The place is beautifully appointed and has an old cinema charm reminding me of my youth. The staff are fast and friendly and the prices and selection of both movies and food/snacks is excellent .
Great selection of movies. Our family loves going here to support the local economy.
Nice small town feel, great value for the price, and I love the $3 Bring Your Own Bowl popcorn on Wednesdays ????
Decent theater and the price cannot be beat.
Love this theater. It's small so you aren't getting that 'big screen' experience per say. But it's super cheap. You can get a ticket a popcorn and a drink for like 10 bucks. When most other theaters you're paying 30. They keep there theaters clean and they even have a cute arcade with some old cabinets. I always come here to see my movies.
Good place to see a flick without breaking a budget. Seats ain't super cozy but it's not so bad
Nice little theater with friendly staff. Tuesday admission is $5 so there is almost no reason not to go.
Digital theatre with movie and concession prices at 25% less or better than Cineplex. It may not be the best screen, sound and experience but you only need that for the occasional blockbuster sci fi or comicbook movie. Great value.
The theater has an old school type of vibe to it, which makes it pretty cool. Cheap tickets, decent seating, and allows you to buy tickets online.
Love taking my son here for movies. Great prices, easy to book online, no lines, clean, friendly staff, and good sized screens as well as ample and free parking
Friendly staff and locally owned plus they have pinball ????. Highly recommended.
Friendly family convenient place with a very good selection of snacks!
Great theatre. Can’t wait to go back. Staff are very nice and know their movies. Pizza, popcorn and drinks take out! Great portions and price!
This is my family's favourite theatre! Amazing prices, comfy seats, and great snacks :) Love the friendly atmosphere here from the owners and staff. They also do so much to give back to the community! Highly recommend.
Just another one of the amazing hidden gems here in Oakville!! A local business... Please support them by purchasing gift certificates or movie passes for when they open back up!!
The tickets here are very cheap, and they have a pretty good selection of movies. Very good value and also good food. Once I had a pizza here with my friend and it was good. I met Jeff Knoll once and it was really cool. I used it as inspiration for a school English project.
Probably my favorite theatre to go to. Every seat has good view, comfortable, clean.
Cheap ticket prices, delicious popcorn, friendly staff, comfortable seats, and clean bathrooms...what else could you ask for from a movie theatre? You won't find all the bells and whistles that you get at cinneplex like Ultra AVX or IMAX, but this place is an experience in itself. Would highly recommend this theatre all day long.
It is very cheap and actually like going into a cineplex. Secret is to go on Tuesday and get any ticket for 5 dollars
Visited this theatre for the first time as they were the only theatre running a documentary i wanted to see. It has such an old school, community feel to it that i haven't experienced in many years. We don't have much choice in Canada these days for theatres with all the same big box locations and their overpriced tickets trying to sell you on the latest fad. Film.ca had better pricing, a better atmosphere and the service was also extremely friendly. Looks like they had a good selection of first run films and quirky selections which I love. I'm very glad to have discovered this theatre and definitely recommend it. Hope to be back very soon!
Best movie hands down. Great selection, staff, prices, and seats, and most importantly, THE BEST POPCORN
A great cinema with a vintage feel. The employees all have huge smiles and are dressed to impress. The food is gourmet and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Film.ca is a gem! I've been coming here for a few years in part because it's close to my home. More importantly, it's just a nice place. It is far less busy than Cineplex which means you're certain to get seats to the latest blockbuster. Tickets are also $4-5 cheaper than the equivalent base ticket at Cineplex. Film.ca is a supporter of the community, offers summer camp teaching film and will buy back competitors' gift cards in exchange for their own gift card (meaning you can turn that $25 Cineplex gift card into a $25 Film.ca card). If you don't want alcohol or an enhanced movie experience that are offered with the likes of Cineplex than try out Film.ca and support a local business.
everythings pretty simple & clean. The process of getting tickets and buying drinks or snacks is smooth. If only there were stricter rules for bringing children or babies to the movies... I know a lot of people who would've had a much better experience.
The movies are priced well, the theatre is clean and well-kept, and the people who work there are nice. I had a great experience, and I'll definitely go back again.
We had a great time at this place. Excellent staff and service. A very beautiful experience of old time movie theaters. Price is excellent too.
A great family run theatre. They have have a great welcoming atmosphere awesome staff and very affordable prices! All while playing the latest movies!
Good things do come in small packages! Clean, great popcorn and digital movies at the right price
Friendly staff and not overly crowded. Screens are not as large as the other guys but movie still looked great.
Fantastic theatre with great ticket prices. A perfectly stacked food bar for every craving you might have. Despite no longer living in the area, on occasion when most places are sold out I can almost always find availability at this theatre. Easily the best popcorn and you never feel bad for giving a local family run business your money.
This is the best movie theatre ever. It's not a big fancy theatre, there is no VIP, no 4D experience, no 20 theatres but you do not need that stuff to go enjoy a movie. The ticket pricing is still reasonable ($8.50 for an adult), the snack bar isn't badly priced either and with cheaper ticket you don't mind. In fact to give you an idea my mom and I can go, get a ticket each and a snack and drink to share and it's under $25 for us both together. The popcorn by the way is the best movie theatre popcorn you will ever have. The staff is always outstanding, so friendly and does everything to ensure the theatre is clean. The theatre by the way has a great vibe and is charming. They even have an old school pac-man video arcade game! I love this theatre so much, I now refuse to see movies anywhere else. Everyone I have taken to this theatre for the first time has fallen in love with it too. If you haven't checked out film.ca I really encourage you to do so, great movies (I've seen every single Marvel movie in the last 10 years here on opening weekend) and reasonable prices.
Awesome theater. I love that it's affordable and clean. I also love the movie angel program, the fact that you care about your community is so important!
Very intimate theatre, kept the movie minimal and I really enjoyed the personalized customer service in building customer relations! Pricing for tickets and food was deemed acceptable! Me and my partner will definitely come here more often on our date nights :D
Although this theatre is on the older side, the amenities are quite adequate. Every thing is clean, with great friendly service at the counters. Their theater chairs are larger and more comfortable then the most.
Lovely staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The cinema takes COVID protocols seriously. Certainly a safe place to visit to enjoy a movie at half the price of Cineplex.
Best movie ???? experience, Love the friendly staff And the refillable popcorn ???? with real butter Makes me wonder why I used to go to cineplex ????????????
Great theatre. $5 Tuesdays are awesome, makes for a great inexpensive date, love the free refills on large popcorn when sharing snacks with a group.
No.1 theatre in my mind. I live in Oakville and I go there often. Three simple reasons why I love this one: 1.real reasonable pricing(8.50 for a ticket and 5 bucks for Tuesdays) 2.BUTTER POPCORNS! 3. Friendly staff, quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
Locally owned great little theatre. Cozy, small theatres. I prefer it over the large scale competitors. Their popcorn tastes better, the staff are really sweet. They keep expanding their food options. It's nice to support the little guy. Oh and movie prices are reasonable! That's a big bonus.
Great location and great prices. The frozen yogurt machine wasn't working but that's okay! Lots of leg room and comfortable seats. Also if you go Saturday night very easy to get parking compared to Cineplex Winston Churchill
Theatre isn't huge and the chairs dont have a big incline but the prices for tickets are really cheap but prices for popcorn are really expensive.
Great prices to take the family, smaller theaters but always room even if you get there just before the starting time.
Love this cozy theatre! Excellent REAL butter, speedy service, and kind staff.
Amazing theater. You’ll quickly feel the warmth of the staff and environment and the family business atmosphere. Way much better than Cineplex in terms of value/money. Screen and audio were excellent. Only issue is that there isn’t assigned seat but I don’t think it’s a big deal if you can afford to come early.
Same movies as other theaters but much lower prices. Friendly staff.
A great place to go with kids to catch a flick on a budget. As they advertise themselves, they're about half the cost per ticket if the major cinema vendors.
Been here quite a few times. Nice vibe and they really support local Oakville businesses. They have Oakville ads before movie and the owner is so funny. Not to mention price is cheaper than Cineplex. Just watched joker here!
Very clean, super friendly, reasonable pricing.... I found my found my alternative to Silver City!
Really love the fact that this is an independent theatre. Besides the upgrades that the theatre needs, my movie viewing experience was great! Theatre seats also have lots of leg room which is a favourite of mine and you don't feel like your so squished. Staff are always super nice as well.
Cinema with nice atmosphere, good prices for entrance, food and drinks.
Fantastic small theatre atmosphere with amazing staff and great popcorn! My favourite place to see a movie!
Perfect smaller theater especially if you're not into big crowds and overpriced snacks and tickets loved my showing off house of Gucci here thanks to the staff
This place is going downhill fast. We ordered a large popcorn to split for my three kids. When asked for 3 little baggies to share they told us the owner had implemented some ridiculous policy about only two sharing bags per popcorn. I tried to explain to the staff that I have three young kids and I didn't understand what the point of the policy was. To save 5 cents? It really put a damper on what was supposed to be a nice family night. I'd be interested in hearing directly from the owner on why he has implemented such a rigid and backwards policy. Is it part of his standards to ensure families with young children are not having a good time? Update after response from Jeff: Why don't you increase your ticket prices by 10-25 cents if your margins are so razor thin? Yes I did get my third bag for sharing after about a 15 min conversation with staff trying to understand why such a ridiculous policy would be enforced in front of my three children aged 8 6 4. After them being visibly upset yes one of your staff was kind enough to get us a third bag. The fact of the matter is the whole experience was soured over such a small issue. We didn't refill our bag, we didn't try to take advantage of the situation. We recognize that small businesses are important and I don't need to go through the math with you. At the end of the day it's your job to keep your customers coming back. I would rather pay 50 cents more for the ticket than go through that terrible customer experience in front of my family. You should strategically rethink your approach and focus on the customer not just the bottom line. Update after 2nd Response from Jeff: Your policy only hurts people who actually require the bags. Any group of people who truly want to take advantage of the free refills etc will just do it. I still don't understand how you are justifying this non-sense.
I’d much rather see a film at this theater instead of a cineplex. The location is great, parking is never an issue, it’s affordable: 2 movie tickets, 1 large popcorn, two medium drinks and a candy came to under $40. The staff are friendly and the theaters are clean. No complaints. Overall great experience. It’s definitely going to be my first choice when going to the movies.
I like this movie theatre. It is affordable and convenient. The staff are freindly.
Because the ticket prices are reasonable, I take my kids to almost all kids' movies.
Good inexpensive movies. Dated but okay. Good service!
Top movies at great prices and the best food.
Staff is so friendly, pricing on drinks and food is amazing, and the same goes for tickets. It's to the point where buying food for everyone and getting admission costs less than just getting admission at other theatres. The movie experience inside is also great, and the seats are comfy. A hidden gem and I suggest you visit, it's also a great way to support local businesses!
Very cute theatre with amazing prices and movies that are actually in demand. Loved the experience. Seating is also very comfortable!
Great bargain as compared to other big chain theaters. Comfortable seating and all the required snacks & supplies for fun movie night out
I love this movie theater! The prices are great and so is the service.
Cheap, but still very nice. Costs you about half what it'd cost you at the Winston Churchill, but it's still really nice; they don't skimp on anything. Popcorn and refreshments are as expected, the theatres are clean, and they do events now and then which are cool.
Awesome Cinema, great location, clean, and OMG REASONABLE PRICES!! My goto movie location
Reasonable price for the movie. Good location. But not busy.
Cheap, awesome movies. Supporting local business is the way to go, there's always great stuff going on. Great new and indie movie selection play. All with digital projection. There also new snacks, in house baked pizza, pastries, frozen yogurt too. And you can't beat their fresh popped popcorn with real buttter
K first off, whoever thought of five dollar ticket pricing on Tuesday, give them a raise! As a student, spending 12 dollars on a movie all the time is kind of hard to do. the popcorn is great, I know some of the people that work there. Everyone is friendly. The film.ca commercial is a little weird but the good service and food make up for it! I'd recommend this theatre.
I would go just for the funny and cheesy local ads :D
Saw Once upon a time in Hollywood here. Went on cheap Tuesday which was only $6. Free refills on the popcorn too
Enjoy coming to this theater. Popcorn is always fresh and can't beat the prices!
Much cheaper compared to other theatres yet always have really good movies showing. Not too much of a huge and entertaining lobby area but that's not exactly why I go to movies anyway.
Great movie theater to bring the family. There's new movies, good food, and great prices. I will definitely be going back.
Best value in movie theatres. And wayyyy more leg room than any other theatre.
I’ve heard a lot of different feedback regarding this movie theatre. However, based off my own experience the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating when myself and a client came to watch The Addams Family! Thanks for being so great :)
Great place and so affordable. I've been coming here since I was a student and continue to visit for comfortable theatres and great popcorn. Highly recommend !!!!
The staff and management are great here. We take large groups of kids here watch movies and they are always accommodating and friendly. I've never had a bad experience here
We live in Missisauga and drive all the way to Oakville for movies. Great value for the money and staff are friendly. The sound is not that high quality (loud not surround) but gets the job done after you get used to it and focused more on the story. Popcorn and pop is refillable as long as you order large. I have 4 teenagers so really get the bang for every buck! I just wish the chairs doesn't have a high back. The trays that they use for popcorn and pop are awesome, Cineplex should adopt it.
The biggest little movie theater in Oakville! Five screens, fresh pizza friendly staff, community minded and supportive. Love this place.
The last of the dying breed of privately run and owned theatres. Great atmosphere and even better prices
Surprisingly well laid out for the price. Even the treats are well priced. Great personal service; walking you to your seat if arriving late, asking others to move over to make room for people to sit together. Super friendly staff.
Always such a friendly place.
Cheap tickets and an awesome movie experience, literally tickets are $8 bucks or less, nuff' said.
Best prices around for movies and popcorn. Also the service is good and quick, it's very easy and pleasant to watch movies here. However, what's most important is the SCREEN and SOUND, and the theatres themselves have the same small screens and quiet speakers they used to use 25 years ago.
Was there for moms and movies. Great experience! Some little acrivities for you little ones before the movie.
The video and sound quality is somewhat below larger chains, but the prices on tickets and concession stand items are very reasonable.
Cheap seats and great service
Good popcorn. Friendly staff. It's our local theatre and we really like it there. Smaller venue is nice. Parking is always easy and available.
The best local theater to catch a flick. Great staff, caring and personable owner.
Nothing fancy but what a nostalgic feeling this cinema offers. Would definitely return!
the staff are so friendly and helpful and you can't beat their prices! went to see Suicide Squad and felt very safe in their environment - clean, social distanced seating, masked staff, etc.
Very friendly staff and I love the small theater feeling. Saved a ton of money compared to Cineplex and I enjoyed the movie every bit as much.
Nice to have a movie theatre 5 minutes walk from my house. Management seem nice
Great value! Staff are very nice, theatres are clean, lots of room - first run movies at a great price.
Convenient and priced right. Popcorn tastes a lot better than Cineplex.
Jeff Knolls, Regional Councillor and owner always gives Halton Region great movies at respectable prices and provides our needy folks with entertainment for free. His Christian Values shine through at every turn. This the place to watch your favourite films!
Always a great time seeing a movie at Film.ca. Tuesday deals are a steal, because it's $5.00 for movie ticket including tax! Limited selection, but they always show the hottest and most popular movies at the time. Very passionate owner and courteous staff, always good service! Prices for concession food is very reasonable, and their popcorn is delicious! Mainly attributed to the fact they use coconut oil. Keep up the great work Film.ca!
A great family friendly locally owned theatre. They host Movies for Mommies on Wednesday's and have kid friendly deals often. We just went to their Twoonie Movies where they play family films weekday mornings during the summer. We will be back.
Good value theatre with cheap prices for first-run movies. Usually doesn't sell out even though it is cheaper than other theatres. For example, I bought 2 tickets online for the Saturday 6:45pm showing if the Solo movie on opening weekend about 2 hours before it was supposed to start with no issues, and it cost me $15 total. Seats are comfortable and the screens are just fine. Lots of parking. I don't understand why you would drive farther to pay more. They are family run and it is a pretty nice atmosphere.
Nice place and the cost to get in is cheaper than big movie theaters.
Great Value! $8.50 adult + first run films +Seems clean +Regular theaters (no 3D bells and whistles) -long lineup to buy tickets at concession stand -food choice limited (but fine for popcorn and a pop)
great price, very friendly staff, the popcorn tasted good, we'll be back
Love this theatre, first run movies, comfortable and generous seating, friendly staff and the BEST popcorn ever
Great place! Reasonable pricing for film and snacks!
Awesome little place in the neighborhood to go to movies with your kids.. love it!
This great little theatre has always been here. Since it was Encore, and now as Films.ca, the prices, staff, and management are all great! FIRST RUN MOVIES! Just like the bigger guys, but HALF the price for the same quality! And you don't go deaf (Cineplex is too loud).
Love this place. Been going for years. Always playing current movies. Recently hosted PC leadership candidate Christine Elliott. She gave a brief speech and met with people. All in all always something going on at this theatre.
if u r all about savings and you are willing to sacrifice your comfort and vid/audio quality to save $5 then this is the place to go to.
My favorite place to see a movie, clean, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. And i'm really intrigued that they let you use gift cards from competitors cinema's.
So I can't recommend this place enough to people!!! Friendly staff, great service...warm and welcoming! Loads of options not only with features but even the snack bar! Pizza that's FRESH....and if all of that weren't enough FREE WIFI! Like the only place better is your living room...
Lots of parking available. Once inside, the lineup moved quickly. Movie tickets are reasonably priced but movie selection is limited. Check what's playing before you go. The theater itself was a little dated. Seats were comfortable. Washroom was relatively clean but outdated.
For the price and convenience it’s awesome, the theatre’s are a little small but they make up with it with the snacks, refills and movie prices. Unfortunately because of COVID they don’t allow you to eat inside which I feel bad for any company trying to survive. No need to blame them that’s where they make thier money, can’t wait to go back when snacks are available, hopefully these dumb rule go away so I can see the Northman when it comes out.
It has great prices and has quality selections of movies!
Film.ca is a local treasure and should be visited all the time, affordable tickets, delicious and inexpensive food, and lovely crew. If you can....GO!
Kinda outdated interior, but the popcorn is cheaper than a certain theatre near the highway.
Have always enjoyed a great movie watching experience at Film.ca. The price of tickets and concessions is unmatched value. The employee attire is classic and makes it an extra special experience for the guest, having the feeling of going back in time. The staff are polite, professional and truly embody the good customer service people take for granted. Excellent honest business, wish more independent theatres like this existed.
Best value theatre in area for me. Don't do 3d movies which I like. Food is good and reasonable price.
A charming theater with great service and staff. Also, I always like the skits in the preshow it always makes me laugh. Go support small local business while saving money and have a great time doing it.
Great local cinema. Prices are great (esp on Tues), and they always show the latest films. Movies for Mommies runs on alternate Wednesdays, so you can bring your baby and watch a film.
Always great going here...it's local and affordable to take 4kids and 2adults. They carry all the latest and big name movies...without the big price and it's clean.
Great homey place for a movie. Popcorn was great even for breakfast! Thanks Desjardins!
Crazy lineup to buy concessions as they have a shared line with concessions and tickets.” So purchasing tickets online in advance is kind of useless if you intend on getting popcorn
Really great cinema that offers great deals, and a awesome movie selection. Great place to grab a bite as well.
Prefer this atmosphere to the big crowds. Super comfy seats, loads of space, decently sized theatres.
Film.ca is a great theater! After going to Cineplex for as long as I can remember, I now have a new favourite theater. They play movies that the Cineplex doesn't; the Food is much better then Cineplex's; the theaters are clean and the staff is great; and they don't charge extra for popcorn!
I have always enjoyed going to the movies at this theater. Now that the pandemic lockdown has been lifted I am even more pleased with film.ca. The theaters all have seats blocked off and designated seating with mandatory spacing between patrons of different social bubbles. There are also many hand sanitization stations throuought the public hallways with signs to remind people to clean their hands often. Being able to occasionally go out to the movies and enjoy that small measure of normalcy makes it so much easier to deal with everything that we are all doing to protect each other. A big thank you to Jeff Knoll and everyone working at film.ca for their continued efforts to keep everyone healthy while enjoying movies on the big screen
Small but VERY nice place. Cheaper than CinePlex. I like it.
My favourite theatre in Oakville or anywhere else. There's a great relaxed and home-like feel to this cinema. They bring in local business that match up with their consumers. You can go to a movie and have snacks for under $20. The seats are comfy the staff is the heart of this theatre.
Great place for a movie not super crowded and economical.
Great prices and quality. They need security in all theatres as children just run around during the movies while their parents are on their cell phones.
Best price tickets and foods....nice staffs....i recommend this cinema....
Visiting film.ca is always a pleasure. I love their popcorn and seeing familiar faces. The staff is so helpful and hardworking!
Love this little tiny treasure of a movie theatre you get to see the latest blockbuster hits with a family friendly environment with affordable prices!
Great little theater . Staff is friendly, real butter on the popcorn and affordable pricing
So nice to go to a proper movie theatre rather than a super palatial gigantic multiplex. This is affordable AND supports so many community initiatives.
Current movies offered at a fantastic price point. Plus - I used to bring dates here way back when I was in high-school (cinema was under a different name then) so it has the nostalgia factor for me :)
Hate waiting in long lines? Definitely the place to go. Love there 2 for 1 Tuesdays deal. Seats aren't the most comfy though they aren't the worst either.
By far the greatest theater in Oakville, cheap and awesome staff.
It is not because it is closer my home, but you feel so cozy there... Every team is so nice... amazing
Very reasonably priced and has a nice family business feel. Well kept and the staff is very courteous
nice place, service is awesome, unlimited popcorn refills during your visit. since it's a small theatre, the movie choices are limited. great price and great deals though. i just wish you could lift the armrests...
Great place to go for big movie releases as they don't tend to screen anything else. Went to see Detective Pikachu and the theater was empty apart from 2 other people because it was a midday screening. Basically a whole auditorium to ourselves for 9 bucks. Snacks and drinks are still pricy like in any other movie theater, but definitely less expensive than in Cineplex.
Adorably wholesome. Staff works hard to please and the before movie commercials are probably the best entertainment ever.
Friendly staff, fair ticket price, nice location, a great alternative to cineplex.,will definitely visit again!
Great cinema with very reasonable ticket prices. Also very clean, and the staff was very helpful. Definitely my first choice when watching movies on the big screen!
Certainly the best theater in Oakville, not over priced and over crowded like Cineplex. Nice staff, and I love the advertisements that Jeff does before the movie starts
its a great movie theatre ! I come with friends all the time! Great popcore! Its great here!
Awesome! Can't beat the price deal! Sometimes you just want to see a movie without it making a dent in your wallet.
My 2nd home! $5 on tuesdays, $7.5 on every other day. Sometimes I feel like cineplex is scamming us. The costumer service, seat and theatre quality and prices tie in to make one of the best values in the area. I will definitely be returning and recommend those folks from ciniplex to come here and get blown away!
Such fun! I really appreciate this smaller, community conscious theatre. We saw Age of Infinity. Excellent.
Current movies at reasonable prices. Comfy seats and the best popcorn around... If you get butter!
Fantastic small theatre that plays first run movies are affordable prices. The concessions were also well priced and taste great. They staff were so helpful and accommodating here, and the ads at the beginning of the follow including staff from the theatre are hilarious. I would definitely recommend this theatre every time!
I was there with my soFXCanada executive events production team for the premier of the documentary "Know Music No Stress" by Albert Varga, the place was clean and bright, the staff was helpful and attentive, and the show looked awesome on the big screen!! #DreamsComeTrue #BigScreenDreams
I moved to Oakville a few years ago but my first experience with this theater was just 6 months ago. Since then I've been back a dozen times or so and it's been great every time. They seem to be adding in new technology on a fairly consistent basis, and because of this, all of their theaters are digital projection and the surround sound is well done as well. Ticket prices are super competitive (way cheaper than Cineplex), and their popcorn, snacks and drinks are cheaper as well. The staff here are also great, and I have a personal story to share about them. I lost my wallet while watching a movie but didn't realize until the next morning. After tracing my steps, the only logical place it could have been was here, so I called in and let them know which theater I was in, and what colour my wallet was. Unfortunately they couldn't find it, but they took down my contact info just in case. A few hours later (during their next cleaning of the theater) they gave me a call saying they had found my wallet and upon picking it up, all of my cash and cards were untouched. Overall this is an exceptional theater and they've taken all of my business from their bigger competitors.
Great prices for tickets, food and snacks. Budget friendly.
Lots of leg room. Great concession prices on popcorn and combos. Great $5 Tuesday seats.
No stadium seating, so its actually a great theater for people who have mobility troubles. Ticket prices are the best around too.
Great theatre! Love the friendliness of the staff and affordable prices
A great place for family movie night! Staffs are very friendly. Once I purchased one extra ticket and was told I can return it even after the movie right from the cashier????????
Great little theatre! It may not be as big as cineplex, but it’s definitely cheaper and just as entertaining. Theatres are clean, floors aren’t sticky, seats are very comfortable and staff is friendly. Movie selection is usually pretty good, just saw The Green Knight the other day and it was fantastic. Bonus for not being as busy and $7 tickets on Tuesday!
Cinema is not bad, if you need to experience best sound and visual quality, this may not be the place. If you wants to take your kids and watch a movie and have lots of popcorn..Hmm..then this is not a bad place.
Reasonable price, loads of parking large comfortable seating with plenty of leg room.
This is our beloved neighbourhood cinema - within walking distance, variety of snacks, tickets are cheaper than the big box cinemas and a decent mix of movies on offer. And, to boot, the staff are friendly and service-oriented.
Great locally owned theatre! Service is fantastic, entire staff so friendly. Can’t beat the prices!
This is a top notch independent theatre that not only serves pizza, but allows you to take it into the theatre with you.
Love being able to finally go back to the movies. Lots of covid-19 safety precautions. Felt save with only 4 other people in the theatre.
Best theatre in Oakville - great prices, service, food and movie selection
Great atmosphere amazing prices all you can eat popcorn
Great family owned theater and reasonable prices!
Love this cinema, prices are great compared to big named cinemas..worth checking out
Outstanding. Grest prices. Refuse to go to the over priced cineplex. Encourage everyone to keep film.ca alive and thriving in Oakville!
The theatre has done an amazing job on keeping the facility clean - employees are using hand sanitizer and wiping areas - seats and floors are spotless (better than larger theatres around). Reasonable prices - a hidden gem and great opportunity to support a local business!
Went to watch John Wick 3..... wasn't busy and great seats. Great movie..
My girls love this place but I think I love it more! The only place I go to watch movies. As family friendly as you can get!
Great local theatre!…. Friendly staff and not to crowded… 1st day back from Jan ‘22 lockdown…. Watched Spider-Man NWH… great concessions too!
Nice to see a more classic theatre. Feels more like a movie theatre than the new ones do.
I'd like to start by saying I absolutely love this theater. I was here when it was encore and I'm still here. Some may argue it doesn't have the high quality features that Cineplex may offer and while that may be true you can't argue with the value and local business atmosphere that surrounds this place. I love the homemade feel of the little advertisements starring the owner. I can't see myself going to any other theater in Oakville.
Amazing and covid friendly
great staff, well taken care of always clean, popcorn is really good, good pricing and very nice atmosphere. All together amazing theater and highly recommended.
Great place, movie, popcorn, parking, all much better than average. If you want to spend lots of money go somewhere else.
While the experience isn't quite up to par with Cineplex the much lower cost more than makes up for it. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great little theater...not over priced. Great to take children
Always love going here. Staff are always friendly and pleasant and it doesnt hurt the pocket
Very nice and cozy.
Its a great little cinema for what you are paying. They offer very cheap movies and the concessions are "reasonable" for movie theater prices. The actual theaters however, are a little lack luster. The seats are basic but comfortable. The pictures are almost always slightly overexposed and they look washed out. That and seats at the front are nearly at exactly the same height as the ones at the back so if somebody tall sits infront of you you are out of luck.
Like old times, small, clean and friendly not loud, good price
The best place to go with the family as in addition to the lower admission prices to new movies, you have great tasting unlimited popcorn and pop at a steal of a price as well. Seats are very comfortable and staff are quite friendly.
Always a great theatre. Good good and decently priced (especially cheap Tuesdays). Great service and clean inside and out
Popcorn here tastes so much better than Cineplex. Plus the staff members are awesome.
Nice alternative to Cinaplex . Theaters are a bit smaller but much better prices. Friendly staff, clean. Free refills on popcorn. Specials during the week for students. Great to support local business. A+
Favourite theater. Decently priced movies and snacks. Lots of parking. Few minutes from the highway.
very lit theater, great size room very cozy feeling
Great prices and nice people. Free refills on large popcorn. I also usually bring in my own water bottle with never any complaints.
Film.ca always creates a memorable evening, and of course at reasonable prices!
Great place to go for a movie. 3 people amd popcorn to share is $40-50 so a little bit cheaper than your local CineOverlord. Definitely check it out.
Love the place great staff lovely ambiance. Great choice of movies
A very cozy cinema with friendly staff. Good place to catch a movie with the family.
Great selection of movies and cheaper then all the bigger movie theaters, great service and good food.
No stadium seating, but it had a surprisingly retro feel that was cool. Staff was nice. Mostly older folks come here from what I could see, which was great because it was quiet. Nice place to see a movie.
I've been curious about this theatre for awhile and I'm glad I finally went. Don't let the chic boutique asthetic intimidate you. This theatre is well maintained, clean bathrooms, comfy theatre chairs, sharp digital projection and great sound quality. Ordered a large pizza ???? and concession lent me a pager to let me know it was ready - absolutely a great idea. Pizza tasted great too and it reminded me of my childhood. Ordered tickets through the app and picked our seats. For the time being, the row in front and behind us were blocked off along with a few seats to both our sides. We felt safe and even felt like a VIP with not having anyone near us. However, I understand how all those empty seats could affect the business. Please be kind to the staff. I don't live nearby but I've been twice with friends and then with family at the time of this review and plan to visit more. Thanks for reading.
Love this small privately owned theatre. Staff are friendly, 5 small movie screens and always a good deal.
Yes 5 stars and here is why. Pricing is great which makes this a great place to bring kids. If they cant sit through a whole movie its not a huge waste of money. Also if you have to take them out of the movie its not a far walk and the lobby is very quite and open. My kids love this place. Clean. I find this place very clean and tidy. Food and drink. Their food is actually good. Pizza is pretty good for a movie theatre. They offer dessert treats not just candy. Popcorn is popcorn but that being said once again their prices are reasonable. Staff. I find the staff polite, helpful and as corny as it sounds...charming. This place is old school feel but not outdated. Great price and normal movie selection. Never overcrowded or overwhelming. I almost forgot. Plenty of parking. There is real pride of ownership here.
Always a good local place to go. As good as the big theaters without the cost
Love this place! Ask any local and they can vouch its the best cinema. They have the newest movies and the cheapest prices but they don't cut corners on quality. They will even accept the competitions gift cards. They don't have the VIP or special stuff that cineplex does but the tickets are half the cost.
This is the last existing place you can get a taste of old Oakville, it’s like I’ve gone back in time, love the place.
This place is so awesome I don't even want to write this review for fear of this hidden Jem getting over populated. Great prices on tickets and food, great location. If your just finding out now shhh don't tell too many people...
Great old school vibe theatre, great price too!
Old school theatre, and at very reasonable prices. Great place to watch new movies without having to mortgage your home.
Wonderful clean movie theater with great staff. Has the latest movies with great visual and audio quality do to the small size of the rooms. All theaters are great but I find 1-4 to be the best.
Great priced movies, wonderful staff , and delicious popcorn ...great theatre overall.
Film.ca is a staple of entertainment in Oakville. As soon as you cross the door, you have the feeling of the old neighbourhood movie theatre. Their theatres are small but audio and visuals are neat and clear, they have invested to deliver a very decent customer experience at an affordable price. Kudos to film.ca
Great place to watch movies on a big screen and eat popcorn with better prices than the big multiplex cinemas. No 3d or avx but some films don't need it.
Prices are good, people are kind. you pick your seat online now and there is a lot of space between you and the next person or group of people. they block off sections beside you and in front and behind so you are fully safe in your seat away from strangers. you wear your mask while you watch the movie and in the lobby, but can take it off when you eat and drink. The seat placement also helps the workers who which seats to clean really well after you re gone. the washrooms are clean and they have Hand sanitizers throughout the building. The pizza is yummy and they will be serving wine! :)
Great place to take the kids on PA days. Fits in the budget easier than the major theaters too.
Great small local theatre. Only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because they’re popcorn game is lacking. Half the time when I get butter on it’s just dumped onto one spot making it soggy and the rest bone dry
Great value. Facility isn't fancy but gets the job done, and it's a third of the price of other theaters.
It's great to not have to pay outrageous prices for a movie. Great little theater. Never any lines, fair prices.
Very affordable local theater. Quality screenss. Clean and friendly.
Awesome prices and great staff afternoon matinees are really cost effective for a bigger family
Quaint little cinema. Top run movies at a great price, and you beat the crowds! Brilliant.
The great thing about this place is its cheap, not over crowded and staff are very friendly. It is a older theater but clean
Prices are great for food and tickets, kept clean, nice little old theatre
Well… This is a quaint little theater off of the beaten path. I went last year when it was known as the Mews Theater, and had a poor experience – small theater screen, drafty theaters, and uncomfortable seats. I recently heard that they had a face lift, so I thought I would give it another try. I must admit that they have tried to up their game, but they are still lacking in some areas. But hey, the service is great, the prices are reasonable, plenty of leg room, and free refills on the popcorn (you can’t beat that). What I really like are the show times; they always have at least one early showing. The early showing work out great when you have a busy evening. Oh yeah, the ticket prices are (including all applicable taxes): General Admission - $8.50 Children (3-13 Years Old) - $6.50 Seniors (65 & over) - $6.50 Students - $7.00 (Full Time) All Seats Tuesday - $5.00 Surcharge for 3D Presentations - $2.00
My favourite theatre in Oakville. Concession selection is great, I love the old-school vibe, and any movie I want to see is typically playing there. It's nice to be able to see a movie without breaking the bank.
Great service, great prices. Sound and picture quality on par with bigger theatres.
By far my favourite theatre. I live close to the burloak cineplex and drive to this one (not too far) as it's hands down more enjoyable, local-oriented, community supportive, and with great prices. Easily a great choice and the theatre quality is way better than you would expect from a small independent. It's on the same level screen/audio experience.
Very polite staff , clean movie theatre and reasonable prices.
It's great just picked up the Christmas tin with popcorn for a gift ????????
Not a big box movie theater location but enjoyable none the less. Great prices for the movies!
5 stars for the place and its staff 3 to the people who forget that the cinema is a public place not their livingroom
Amazing! Support small theaters!!!!
Fantastic movie theatre, great prices ($5 Tuesdays!). My friends and I love coming here. It's not as big as other theatres so less movies are playing at one time but they usually have what you want to see. It's a nice local business, that I highly recommend!
Awesome movie theatre. Great seating, awesome concession and pizza. Best price on current movies and they give back to the community. Our go to theatre.
Love this theatre!! Old school vibe, good prices, nice staff. Very charming place.
Nothing fancy but great prices, $6 and 5 movies from which to choose. A great option for people on a budget.
Adore this gem of a place in Oakville; something so homey and intimate about this cinema. My kind of place!
Great place to watch a movie at a reasonable price. Love to support the local community!
If you're not a fan of the big chain cineplex then this is a great alternative. The theater is the perfect size, has a more personal feel and touch to it and better prices.
A great place to see a current movie at reasonable prices. Enthusiastic staff, sufficient parking with decent cinemas. I have seen several movies there & hope to see many more!
Good value. Fun little theater. Clean. Popcorn is good. Nice to support a local business. And they try to reciprocate...like Wednesday matinees for mom's with young kids. Bring your own bowl for popcorn on wednesday nights. Tuesday nights are two adult tickets for $10. Can't beat that.
Great popcorn for a great price. Can’t wait till they’re back open for movies!
A fantastic experience in a smaller, old fashioned cinema. Well priced throughout (even the concessions aren't rediculously priced for a change!). This place is a rare gem.
Great prices , outdated , small theatre good for teen and seniors
Affordable place and great friendly customer service
Best place in Oakville for a movie! So happy they are back open!!
Pretty meh seating arrangement, sound and video is below Cineplex quality, but cheap so it’s ok
Tickets and food are fairly priced! Great place and great people.
A quiant family style theatre with reasonable prices. Quickly becoming my favorite theatre. Only thing is it would be great if there was a but more slope to the seating. If you go frequently get their card and save even more!
Its a really cute place. Looks like cinama from the older days. But if you are expecting luxury like the AMC , Cineplex that has removable arm rest or d-box then it's not a place for you ????
Always go with the kids, great price for new movies.
Fantastic experience!! Love to support such amazing local businesses
Support the indie theatres. Best sound level and quality I've heard. When you leave your ears aren't bleeding.
Excellent small cinema, friendly staff. Theatre is fine, only 10$ , very good relaxing choice
I lived in Mississauga for many years. I never knew about this place. Its small and very cute. The staff seem like a family. Its so old school. Simply amazing.
I like this place -- supporting an independent film house that has a great vibe! Watching a movie with a large pizza made in house is great!
Great price to see current films in Oakville. The theatres are all newly renovated and very comfortable. Great local business!
Love going to this theater! The staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is wonderful and prices are reasonable. Great accessability for seniors.
Recently went to see Mary Poppins! The theatre was so cold and staff didn't seem to care! The movie was great! Update! It was a very cold weekend so I bundled up to see Greenbook! When we went in I spoke to one of the gentlemen who stated the heat was checked at 9am! This time it cozy and my rating is back to awesome 5 stars! Both movies were excellent!
Absolutely love the old timy feel to this theater ...one of my top movie watching spots and the popcorn is wonderful
Great. My favorite
Great place to watch movies, very reasonable always friendly staff and great customer service. Popcorn is always fresh and free refills. $5 Tuesdays bring your own bowl Wednesday's and points can be earned towards free movies drinks and popcorn with a swipe of your film.ca card. They even take Cineplex cards. They are always doing things to improve your movie going experience. Definitely a great place to take your family.
Good popcorn. Nice ???? venue
Me and my friends wanted to rent out a theatre one morning to watching a live stream. I contacted these guys through their website and they were more than accommodating for the time and specifics. Absolutely loved the theatre, good sound and video, was able to watch our event seamlessly there and and long as they'd have us again we'll be looking to do the same next year!
Kid friendly theater! Not too big for little children so my 4 year old grandson wasn't overwhelmed. Good popcorn too!
I didn't give it a 5 star because I feel bad the staff has to wear ugly uniforms! The material doesn't look breathable for them to wear either. Other than that, the theater and snacks itself is great!
Amazing place I don’t know why people go to cineplex when this place is there Amazing staff Best price to watch a movie on Tuesday
Comfortable seats and good spacing between rows of seats and clean. Good snack bar, movie selection and price.
Best cinema ever. The prices are amazing and the staff is great and super friendly and helpful! Always choose this theatre first.
Great lil theatre, wish more ppl came here!
Great experience in general. Staff was very kind, service was exceptional and of course, the movie was very enjoyable too. 5/5 ????
The worst theaters around the cheap price don't make up for the terrible movie experience.
Love this place if you're looking for a classic old fashioned theater experience this is the place Zoo Zoe's Pizza is great concessions are affordable to stop or fantastic heaters been upgraded to digital but they are smaller screens so if you're used to a Cineplex experience don't go here but if you want a great feeder experience I highly recommended go there often
Leg space was a let down :(
I discovered film.CA last year. A rare gem. The movies are the same as what is shown at the "competition" but at a lower price. The staff are friendly. I love the retro 70's/80's atmosphere. It can get busy at times, but not as bad as the Odeon Cineplex and other theatres. When I want to see a movie on a bug screen I always come here. Film.ca is the best value for the money in the Oakville area.
Great local theater with fair prices on movie and food
Good value, I'd go again
Amazing prices and popcorn only downfall is they sometimes don't screen the really new popular movies.
Covid guidelines fully implimented, fresh popcorn, good movie all for half the price of the big boys.
Cute little cinema. Decent food prices. Look forward to the next time.
Best movie theater in Oakville. Service is great and it brings our community together.
Best place for movies bar none. Prices selection intimacy.
Excellent value for the price. Seats weren't the newest or most comfortable, but they weren't old and uncomfortable. We got 2 tickets popcorn and 2 drinks for the price of just tickets at other theatres. I was also expecting older movies would only be played here but we saw Ford vs Ferrari while it was still at odeon.
Always great! Great popcorn, great customer service and even candy canes on Christmas!
Pretty old cinema. Old style chairs, flat theatre floor (no stairs to get to your seats at all, everyone is at the same level!) otherwise for the price it’s awesome. For a silly ninjago movie I didn’t want to spend a lot of money to take 4 kids. Here for all 6 of us with popcorn and drinks and candy it was $50 or so. The icing on the cake: Unlimited refills on the popcorn! :-)
Never had so much fun with grandkids! Always there during summer holidays and PA days! Good atmosphere, food, and movies! Very friendly!
While a small, not chain theatre, Film.ca is a small, but personable venue. The theatre may be small, but for a repertory cinema, it is large. It has four auditoriums, which seem each, mutually comfortable. The staff here are very pleasant and not at all efficious, when it comes to enforcing house rules for certain films (Rocky Horror Picture Show). I am looking forward to returning for another screening of a "classic" film.
Great Theater. Love the quaint atmosphere and less crowds!
Love this theater. Amazing prices. Good snacks. Nice folks! Best place in Oakville
Always a pleasure coming here and supporting local business.
Very nice, cheaper than a Cineplex and has a nice family atmosphere
Our favorite cinema, period. We've been going there for the past 5 years. The prices are extremely reasonable (8.50$ per adult ticket i believe), and the screens are on-par with larger theatre chains. Everything is always clean, and the staff are very friendly and professional. Film.ca also has a charm that other theaters don't. They have goofy promos, special events (love the annual Oscars screening!), and are actively engaged with the community. My only wish is that they would get a geofilter for Snapchat! Thats not a real criticism, however. Support a fantastic local business and see films here!
Excellent pantomime for all the kids big and small. A terrific performance.
Great prices, but smaller screens and theatres. Fairly clean and almost a vintage experience. Tickets do sell out quickly for popular and Blockbuster films.
Always a great alternative to the big theaters. Staff and customer service is excellent.
Lovely staff and lovely little cinema. Very kid friendly. Love your place and your awesome massaging chairs!!
Actually a great place to go if you want a more intimate movie experience one night, without the hype of the mega movie theater atmosphere, it's nice sometimes.
Awesome theater. You can buy tickets and snacks at the same counter to save time. Smaller rooms and screens but great value
There is nothing not to love about this gem of a movie theatre. Great movies, great prices, comfortable seats with LOTS of legroom and there is not a bad seat in the house. The hot dogs are the real thing, and everyone who works there is pleasant and efficient.. Makes for a really welcoming atmosphere. We are lucky to have it in our community.
Price is outstanding, however, the screen is set at an odd angle. I was watching Avengers: Infinity War here and got a sore neck from staring up at the screen for the duration of the movie. There are not many negatives to this theater although that sore neck makes me not want to go back again.
The prices are fair and the seats are comfortable. It's what you'd hope for and expect to pay, when taking your family or date out to see a show.
I grew up in Oakville. This theater has been around since 1998. After I moved to Toronto. My mother would take my son there when he was visiting. It was a blast from the past to go see a movie there last week with my son and his friend who lives there now. We saw the latest Star wars episode. Staff friendly. Theatre clean. Popcorn fresh and tasty. Prices for everything was very affordable not like the big movie theaters. If you are looking for quaint setting and dont care about the huge screens, and sometimes overly loud stero sound. This is a nice change to remind you that going to the movies is not just about the " cinematic experience " but also enjoying the company you went with!
A little small in size but good. My kids enjoying watching movies there especially during the summer months. They love the movies and I appreciate the small prices. Especially the toonies movies.
It's really good not far from home all the staff have a smile to welcome you .also best price I'm town.
Great theatre for a reasonable price, seats are bugger and have more leg room than the bigger 'fancy' theatres, will definitely be back!
This place has a cool, old-timey feel. Seating is very comfortable, with plenty of leg room.
A nice family theatre. This facility is great and have friendly staff. It was nice to see Jeff Knoll there today.
$5 Tuesdays!! Free large popcorn refills! My favourite theater for Oakville/Burlington/Mississauga area. Has brand new movies so it competes with Cineplex but with amazing prices. Screens are a tad smaller but you don't even notice. They made some huge upgrades inside over the last couple years, everything went digital so the movie quality is superb. This place is amazing, especially if you're tired of the corporate Cineplex and their 3D shenanigans gutting your wallet on a family outing.
Great movie theater!! Excellent customer service, you feel like home! And great popcorn too!
Great movie theatre! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable of movies old and new!
A great way to see a move for a lot less than other theaters, we only had two other people in our showing
Good place for watching movies without the high cost. So what if it's not surround sound, servers in the theater or all the other distractions you get at the big theater chains.
My favorite theatre. First run movies fresh popcorn all the time. The friendliest staff bar none of any of the theatres. Rarely overcrowded. Special events and movie prices. My First and only choice to see our movies. I gave brought my kids there to see all the movies of their youth and now at 17 and 19 we still go just saw Incredibles2 some of us never grow up. Double thumbs up???????? This place feels like home to me????
A perfect place to see a movie! Amazing customer service. My favorite place to go! I like everything about this vendor. I like the small community atmosphere. I live the extra items they sell cookies and David's tea. Fits my budget perfectly. They also honor cineplex gift cards or buy online tickets. They have it all. I also love that I dont have to walk a great distance to see a movie. I know I'm not alone in all these positive reviews.
The employees were super helpful and the seats were very comfortable. The movie sound was at a perfect level, not too high. Price is very affordable and theatre is the right size. We recommend this experience to everyone.
